Abstract:
TRP channels function in many types of sensory receptor cells. Despite extensive analyses, an open question is whether there exists a family of auxiliary subunits, which could influence localization, trafficking, and function of TRP channels. Here, using Drosophila melanogaster, we reveal a previously unknown TRP interacting protein, INAF-C, which is expressed exclusively in the ultraviolet-sensing R7 photoreceptor cells. INAF-C is encoded by an unusual locus comprised of four distinct coding regions, which give rise to four unique single-transmembrane-containing proteins. With the exception of INAF-B, roles for the other INAF proteins were unknown. We found that both INAF-B and INAF-C are required for TRP stability and localization in R7 cells. Conversely, loss of just INAF-B greatly reduced TRP from other types of photoreceptor cells, but not R7. The requirements for TRP and INAF are reciprocal, since loss of TRP decreased the concentrations of both INAF-B and INAF-C. INAF-A, which is not normally expressed in photoreceptor cells, can functionally substitute for INAF-B, indicating that it is a third TRP auxiliary protein. Reminiscent of the structural requirements between Kv channels and KCNE auxiliary subunits, the codependencies of TRP and INAF depended on several transmembrane domains (TMDs) in TRP, and the TMD and the C-terminus of INAF-B. Our studies support a model in which the inaF locus encodes a family of at least three TRP auxiliary subunits.

Abstract:
This study aims at testing the implementation of option contracts using Black Scholes and GARCH Option Models on the pharmaceutical State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN, Badan Usaha Milik Negara) holding using Long Straddle Strategy. The data were the closing stock price from 2002 to 2021 of two companies holding: INAF and KAEF. Results of this study were calculated by comparing percentage of average mean squared error of the Black Scholes and GARCH model with the implementation of Long Straddle Strategy, in which the smaller the percentage the better the model. The result showed that for one-month due date option contract, Black Scholes model was better than GARCH with error value on call option of 6.28% and put option of 4.279% for INAF and error value on call option of 5.24% and put option of 3.29%. With three-month due date option contract, Black Scholes model continued to show better results for call option with error value of 20.38% for INAF and 14.59% for KAEF. Conversely, GARCH model was better on the put option with 14.69% error value for INAF and 9.50% for KAEF. Keywords: Black Scholes, GARCH, option contract, Long Straddle

In this study, we examined the functional coupling between Na+-activated potassium (KNa) channels and Na+ influx through voltage-dependent Na+ channels in Kenyon cells isolated from the mushroom body of the cricket Gryllus bimaculatus. Single-channel activity of KNa channels was recorded with the cell-attached patch configuration. The open probability ( Po) of KNa channels increased with increasing Na+ concentration in a bath solution, whereas it decreased by the substitution of Na+ with an equimolar concentration of Li+. The Po of KNa channels was also found to be reduced by bath application of a high concentration of TTX (1 μM) and riluzole (100 μM), which inhibits both fast ( INaf) and persistent ( INaP) Na+ currents, whereas it was unaffected by a low concentration of TTX (10 nM), which selectively blocks INaf. Bath application of Cd2+ at a low concentration (50 μM), as an inhibitor of INaP, also decreased the Po of KNa channels. Conversely, bath application of the inorganic Ca2+-channel blockers Co2+ and Ni2+ at high concentrations (500 μM) had little effect on the Po of KNa channels, although Cd2+ (500 μM) reduced the Po of KNa channels. Perforated whole cell clamp analysis further indicated the presence of sustained outward currents for which amplitude was dependent on the amount of Na+ influx. Taken together, these results indicate that KNa channels could be activated by Na+ influx passing through voltage-dependent persistent Na+ channels. The functional significance of this coupling mechanism was discussed in relation to the membrane excitability of Kenyon cells and its possible role in the formation of long-term memory.

Abstract:
COVID-19 Pandemic has brought several direct impacts in Indonesia to make every sector decrease especially in Capital Market since March 2020. COVID-19 is the main impact that affected to decrease the value of ICI in every sector on the stock exchange. However, there is a sector that seems capable to survive during the Pandemic, which is the consumer goods industry sector. One of the successful sectors coming from the consumer goods industry sector is the pharmacy business sector (INAF and KAEF). The research aims to analyze INAF and KAEF stocks during the Pandemic, whether both stocks can survive or not by using a various approach such as global economy, the impact of foreign and domestic policies, the effect of PSBB (Large-scale Social Restrictions), also the lockdown which being held in March-December. The method that is used is qualitative, as the data were collected from ISE (Indonesia Stock Exchange) and Yahoo Finance. The result of this research shows that INAF and KAEF stocks can survive and highly increase the stock price during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat akurasi prediksi kebangkrutan perusahaan farmasi di Indonesia dengan membandingkan model prediksi Altman Z-Score dengan Olhson dilihat dari aspek kinerja keuangan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder pada perusahaan farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2016. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan alat analisis teknik uji beda independent sampel t-test. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua model dalam memprediksi potensi kebangkrutan. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua perusahaan yang diprediksi berpotensi mengalami kebangkrutan dengan menggunakan kedua model prediksi Altman dan Ohlson. Kedua perusahaan tersebut adalah PT Indofarma, Tbk., (INAF) dan PT Merck Sharp Dohme Pharma, Tbk., (SCPI). <p><strong>Abstract.</strong> A novel photogrammetric pipeline has been designed by INAF-Padova for the processing of the recent stereo images of CaSSIS and it will be a starting point for the future procedures that will be applied to Stereo Camera (STC) (Cremonese, 2009; Da Deppo, 2010) images for the BepiColombo mission to Mercury. The large number of stereo pairs being generated has made it necessary that several teams attempt to generate products. The presented procedures are the two strategies (proposed by INAF-PADOVA and by EPFLLausanne) available nowadays in an international attempt to generate 3D products from the CaSSIS images. The comparisons here presented will be the first of several such efforts and are important to make the planetary community aware of the accuracy of the 3D data available. Furthermore, the possibility to consider higher accuracy DTMs as the ones of HiRISE makes the quality assessment of stereo products of CaSSIS robust and important for the assessment of data to be provided to the scientific community. The performance evaluation of the INAF-Padova pipeline (3DPD software) is the main objectives of this work. Additionally, the comparison between the correlation phase of 3DPD and of ASP (Moratto, 2010) that is integrated in the EPFL pipeline has been considered.</p>

Em primeiro lugar, descrevem-se os principais conceitos desenvolvidos para a criação do indicador, bem como o aperfeiçoamento ao longo da década. Em segundo lugar, apresenta-se uma avaliação a respeito do instrumento medida utilizado para a obtenção das proficiências e posterior construção do Inaf, assim como as amostras trabalhadas durante os distintos anos. Finalmente, são apresentados os resultados de algumas análises realizadas que evidenciam como alguns atributos do indivíduo estão associados diretamente ao desempenho, e adicionalmente a análise de correspondência, usada para identificar atributos associados a certos grupos definidos a partir de intervalos de proficiências.</span>

The project built on previous activities at local, national and international levels and on newly designed exhibits, like the haptic planetarium dome. The exhibits, designed and tested with blind people, also proved to be attractive and useful for the general public visiting the Observatory.

AbstractThe practice of preventive conservation of cultural heritage consists of “all measures and actions aimed at avoiding and minimizing future deterioration or loss” of it (ICOM-CC, 2008). Unlike conservation treatments, preventive conservation deals with entire collections and their surrounding environment. It is known that exposing historical objects to the environment has a significant impact on their degradation process. Studying and managing risk factors is an indispensable practice within the management policies of any cultural institution. The National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) holds some valuable historical collections, heritage derived from the Italian contribution to astronomy over the centuries. The management and protection of these collections faces many challenges. A preventive conservation plan, aimed at assessing and managing risks that threaten the collections, may offer many long-term benefits, allowing us to use available resources in the best possible way. In the past few years INAF-Astronomical Observatory “G.S.Vaiana” of Palermo has been working on the development of preventive conservation projects for its archival, bibliographic and scientific heritage. The present contribution reports on these ongoing experiences and intends to stimulate a discussion within the scientific community in order to individuate the problems we are called to respond to in Astronomical Observatories.

A escala foi desenvolvida com base em dados coletados pelo Indicador Nacional de Alfabetismo Funcional (Inaf), que de 2001 a 2007 realizou seis estudos com aplicação de testes de proficiência a amostras representativas da população brasileira de 15 a 64 anos de idade, por meio de entrevistas domiciliares. Primeiramente, são apresentadas algumas referências internacionais de estudos congêneres, com destaque para as opções metodológicas adotadas na definição dos domínios compreendidos pelo alfabetismo. Depois, faz-se um breve histórico dos avanços metodológicos realizados pelo Inaf desde seu lançamento e das bases que levaram à proposição de uma escala combinada. Apresentam-se então as análises psicométricas e conceituais que fundamentam a proposição da escala combinada, a descrição dos níveis de alfabetismo definidos a partir dela e alguns resultados obtidos de 2001 a 2007 com a amostra nacional de jovens e adultos.</span>

O principal aspecto inovador da proposta é a integração de dois domínios do alfabetismo - o letramento e o numeramento - nos mesmos conjuntos de habilidades. Distinguem-se também as habilidades funcionais (localização, integração, elaboração e avaliação), foco principal do Inaf, das habilidades elementares, úteis para avaliação de programas de alfabetização inicial (reconhecimento de letras, numerais e sinais; reconhecimento de palavras e números, fluência; reconhecimento do assunto, tipo ou finalidade dos textos/instrumentos e registro escrito). Além dos tipos de texto sobre os quais as habilidades de alfabetismo se manifestam, são apresentados e discutidos os fatores de dificuldade que fazem as tarefas corresponderem a níveis mais baixos ou altos de proficiência. GABA projection neurons (GABA neurons) in the substantia nigra pars reticulata (SNr) and dopamine projection neurons (DA neurons) in substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) have strikingly different firing properties. SNc DA neurons fire low-frequency, long-duration spikes, whereas SNr GABA neurons fire high-frequency, short-duration spikes. Since voltage-activated sodium (NaV) channels are critical to spike generation, the different firing properties raise the possibility that, compared with DA neurons, NaV channels in SNr GABA neurons have higher density, faster kinetics, and less cumulative inactivation. Our quantitative RT-PCR analysis on immunohistochemically identified nigral neurons indicated that mRNAs for pore-forming NaV1.1 and NaV1.6 subunits and regulatory NaVβ1 and Navβ4 subunits are more abundant in SNr GABA neurons than SNc DA neurons. These α-subunits and β-subunits are key subunits for forming NaV channels conducting the transient NaV current ( INaT), persistent Na current ( INaP), and resurgent Na current ( INaR). Nucleated patch-clamp recordings showed that INaT had a higher density, a steeper voltage-dependent activation, and a faster deactivation in SNr GABA neurons than in SNc DA neurons. INaT also recovered more quickly from inactivation and had less cumulative inactivation in SNr GABA neurons than in SNc DA neurons. Furthermore, compared with nigral DA neurons, SNr GABA neurons had a larger INaR and INaP. Blockade of INaP induced a larger hyperpolarization in SNr GABA neurons than in SNc DA neurons. Taken together, these results indicate that NaV channels expressed in fast-spiking SNr GABA neurons and slow-spiking SNc DA neurons are tailored to support their different spiking capabilities.

Two complementary approaches are used in order to search for EM counterpart of GW signal with a typical large sky localization uncertainty: wide-field tilling search on high probability GW region, e.g. Gravitational Wave Inaf Team(GRAWITA) project or pointed search of selected galaxies in high probability GW region, e.g. Distance Less Than 40 Mpc survey(DLT40) project.

AbstractWe present preliminary results for our study of mutual phenomena of the Galilean satellites performed at radio wavelengths with the Medicina and Noto antennas of the Istituto di Radioastronomia - INAF, and with the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope of the Max-Planck-Institute for Radioastronomy, Bonn. Measurements of the radio flux density variation during the mutual occultations of Io by Europa and Ganymede were carried out during the PHEMU09 campaign at 22 GHz and 43 GHz. Flux density variations observed at radio wavelengths are consistent with the typical optical patterns measured when partial occultations occur.

Abstract:
The properties of voltage-gated ion channels on the neuronal membrane shape electrical activity such as generation and backpropagation of action potentials, initiation of dendritic spikes, and integration of synaptic inputs. Subthreshold currents mediated by sodium channels are of interest because of their activation near rest, slow inactivation kinetics, and consequent effects on excitability. Modulation of these currents can also perturb physiological responses of a neuron that might underlie pathological states such as epilepsy. Using nucleated patches from the peri-somatic region of hippocampal CA1 neurons, we recorded a slowly inactivating component of the macroscopic Na+ current (which we have called INaS) that shared many biophysical properties with the persistent Na+ current, INaP, but showed distinctively faster inactivating kinetics. Ramp voltage commands with a velocity of 400 mV/s were found to elicit this component of Na+ current reliably. INaS also showed a more hyperpolarized I-V relationship and slower inactivation than those of the fast transient Na+ current ( INaT) recorded in the same patches. The peak amplitude of INaS was proportional to the peak amplitude of INaT but was much smaller in amplitude. Hexanol, riluzole, and ranolazine, known Na+ channel blockers, were tested to compare their effects on both INaS and INaT. The peak conductance of INaS was preferentially blocked by hexanol and riluzole, but the shift of half-inactivation voltage ( V1/2) was only observed in the presence of riluzole. Current-clamp measurements with hexanol suggested that INaS was involved in generation of an action potential and in upregulation of neuronal excitability.

O presente artigo apresenta reflexões sobre Alfabetização e Práticas Pedagógicas na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), como recorte de uma pesquisa mais ampla, realizada no Colégio Entre Fios, no ano de 2018, objetivando compreender se as práticas pedagógicas realizadas nos últimos anos do Ensino Médio na EJA contribuem com o processo de alfabetização; para tanto, foram aplicadas situações do INAF com educandos da EJA do terceiro tempo formativo, nos eixos VI e VII. No âmbito metodológico, constitui-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa, com imersão no estudo de caso. Nessa tessitura, respaldam nossos estudos, prioritariamente, as teorias de Paulo Freire (2003, 2014, 2015, 2018), Miguel Arroyo (2005, 2015, 2017), dentre outros que contribuem para melhor compreender a temática em tela, além de pesquisas realizadas em meios eletrônicos e revistas, que nos permitem tecer relevantes fios sobre a referida abordagem. Nessa trama que engloba alfabetização no lócus da pesquisa, podemos perceber que os estudantes pesquisados apresentam níveis assustadores de analfabetismo, considerando que já estão na última etapa da Educação Básica. In 2016, Italian Astronomical Libraries decided not to renew their subscriptions to electronic journals directly with the most important scientific publishers but to adhere, wherever possible, to the negotiating activities conducted by CARE, a coordinating group within the Libraries Commission, of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), the Italian association of state and private universities. Participating in a consortium would have meant better economic conditions for INAF and more favourable contract terms for the final user. Advantages and disadvantages of direct negotiations with the publishers or of participation in a large consortium are analyzed here.

Abstract The Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) is a NASA Small Explorer mission—in partnership with the Italian Space Agency—dedicated to X-ray polarimetry in the 2–8 keV energy band. The IXPE telescope comprises three grazing incidence mirror modules coupled to three detector units hosting each one a Gas Pixel Detector, a gas detector that allows measuring the polarization degree by using the photoelectric effect. A wide and accurate ground calibration was carried out on the IXPE Detector Units at INAF-IAPS, in Italy, where a dedicated facility was setup at this aim. In this paper, we present the results obtained from this calibration campaign to study the IXPE focal plane detector response to polarized radiation. In particular, we report on the modulation factor, which is the main parameter to estimate the sensitivity of a polarimeter.

Tidak hanya berdampak pada sektor kesehatan namun Covid-19 juga berdampak pada kegiatan perekonomian. Salah satunya yaitu tren penurunan harga saham yang tentu dapat mempengaruhi tingkat pengembalian pada investasi. Pada penelitian ini variabel yang digunakan yaitu nilai excess return menggunakan metode CAPM, data yang diolah merupakan data sekunder berupa historis harga penutupan (closing price) mingguan. Alat analisis dibantu menggunakan program SPSS berupa statistik deskriptif dan uji wilcoxon signed test rank. Hasil dari penelitian mendapatkan tiga saham yang masih termasuk ke dalam saham efisien yaitu TBLA, WIIM, dan INAF. Sedangkan hasil dari uji hipotesis menggunakan wilcoxon signed test rank memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan excess return yang signifikan kearah positif pada kondisi setelah pandemi Covid-19.

Polvere di stelle (Stardust) is the web portal of the National Institute for Astrophysics(INAF) dedicated to the Italian astronomical libraries, archives and museums. It offers different tools and databases created to support astronomical research and increase the value of one of the richest astronomical heritages in the world. In a single virtual space one can find useful tools for sharing digital resources and other services for current research. Besides the OPAC, consisting of bibliographic data of ancientand modern books and serials, the portal offers to astronomers, scholars, students, amateur astronomers and historians of science the possibility to search at the same time other databases: manuscripts, instruments, archival documents and biographies of astronomers. Furthermore, a digital showcase of rare books plays a relevant role in the portal. This paper illustrates the ongoing developments and perspectives of Polvere di stelle.

Late Na+ current ( INaL) is a major component of the action potential plateau in human and canine myocardium. Since INaL is increased in heart failure and ischemia, it represents a novel potential target for cardioprotection. However, the molecular identity of INaL remains unclear. We tested the hypothesis that the cardiac Na+ channel isoform (Nav1.5) is a major contributor to INaL in adult dog ventricular cardiomyocytes (VCs). Cultured VCs were exposed to an antisense morpholino-based oligonucleotide (Nav1.5 asOligo) targeting the region around the start codon of Nav1.5 mRNA or a control nonsense oligonucleotide (nsOligo). Densities of both transient Na+ current ( INaT) and INaL (both in pA/pF) were monitored by whole cell patch clamp. In HEK293 cells expressing Nav1.5 or Nav1.2, Nav1.5 asOligo specifically silenced functional expression of Nav1.5 (up to 60% of the initial INaT) but not Nav1.2. In both nsOligo-treated controls and untreated VCs, INaT and INaL remained unchanged for up to 5 days. However, both INaT and INaL decreased exponentially with similar time courses (τ = 46 and 56 h, respectively) after VCs were treated with Nav1.5 asOligo without changes in 1) decay kinetics, 2) steady-state activation and inactivation, and 3) the ratio of INaL to INaT. Four days after exposure to Nav1.5 asOligo, INaT and INaL amounted to 68 ± 6% (mean ± SE; n = 20, P < 0.01) and 60 ± 7% ( n = 11, P < 0.018) of those in VCs treated by nsOligo, respectively. We conclude that in adult dog heart Nav1.5 sodium channels have a “functional half-life” of ∼35 h (0.69τ) and make a major contribution to INaL.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh PT Indofarma Tbk dilakukan menggunakan strategi public relations yaitu publications, events, news, community involvement, inform of image, lobbying and negotiation dan social responsibility. Upaya yang dilakukan PT Indofarma Tbk dalam membangun kepercayaan konsumen yang positif dilakukan dengan menyediakan layanan untuk berkomunikasi antara perusahaan dengan konsumen. Selain itu, tolak ukur dapat dilihat dengan penjualan dan branding yang meningkat di masa pandemi ini maka masyarakat dapat memiliki rasa kepercayaan yang positif terhadap PT Indofarma Tbk.

MISTRAL is a millimetric camera working in the W-band (78–103 GHz) which will take data from the Sardinia Radio Telescope, the Italian 64-m radio telescope located 50 km form Cagliari, at 600m above the sea level, in Sardinia. It is being built as a facility instrument by the Sapienza University for INAF, that manages the radio telescope, under a PON contract. It will consist of a compact cryostat hosting the re–imaging optics, cooled at 4K, and a 408–pixel array of photon–noise limited lumped element kinetic inductance detectors fabricated at CNR-IFN and cooled at a base temperature lower than 300mK. MISTRAL will be able to investigate a long list of scientific targets spanning from extragalactic astrophysics to solar system science, with high angular resolution (~ 12 arcsec), including Sunyaev Zel’dovich effect measurements and the study of the Cosmic Web.

The ASTRI (Astrofisica con Specchi a Tecnologia Replicante Italiana) program was born as a collaborative international effort led by the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) to design and realize, within the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) framework, an end-to-end prototype of the Small-Sized Telescope (SST) in a dual-mirror configuration (2M). While the activities concerning the characterization of the prototype are under completion, the program entered a new phase. With the final aim of contributing at the production of the SST telescopes for the CTAO Southern site, we started the development of nine telescopes based on the evolution of the ASTRI prototype design to work as pathfinder for the CTAO. Furthermore, together with the CHEC (Compact High Energy Camera) collaboration, the ASTRI team presented a proposal, that will be evaluated with other proposals, to deliver to CTAO the complete set of SST telescopes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi kesulitan keuangan atau financial distress perusahaan BUMN bidang industri pengolahan selama 2014-2018 dan menganalisis kestabilan kinerja perusahaan pada tahun tersebut. Prediksi financial distress pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis diskriminan dengan menggunakan 5 model yaitu model altman, zmijewski, springate, grover, dan fulmer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model yang menghasilkan perusahaan sehat adalah model zmijewski dan fulmer dengan presentase 100% sehat, disusul dengan grover dengan presentase sehat 68%, sedangkan 2 model lainnya didominasi kebangkrutan dengan presentase 60% perusahaan bangkrut pada model altman dan 76% bangkrut pada model springate. Adapun tingkat kesehatan perusahaan dilihat dari 5 model tersebut berturut turut yaitu perusahaan SMBR, SMGR, KRAS, KAEF, dan INAF.

A new type of X-ray facility, the Beam Expander Testing X-ray facility (BEaTriX), has been designed and is now under construction at INAF–Osservatorio Astronomico di Brera (Merate, Italy) to perform the acceptance tests of the silicon pore optics modules of the ATHENA X-ray telescope. Crystals of high perfection and large dimensions are needed in order to obtain a wide beam (20 × 6 cm) with an X-ray divergence of <0.5′′ and an X-ray energy purity ΔE/E < 10−5. To generate X-ray diffracted beams at an X-ray energy of 1.49 keV, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) crystals have been considered among other possible choices, because of their reported crystal quality and because they can be grown at sufficiently large size at a reasonable price. In the present paper, the results of the characterization of crystalline quality and lattice planarity of a 20 × 20 × 2 mm ADP sample are reported.

AbstractThe INTEGRAL archive developed at INAF-IASF Milano with the available public observations from late 2002 to 2016 is investigated to extract the X-ray properties of 58 High Mass X-ray Binaries (HMXBs). This sample consists of sources hosting either a Be star (Be/XRBs) or an early-type supergiant companion (SgHMXBs), including the Supergiant Fast X-ray Transients (SFXTs). INTEGRAL light curves (sampled at 2 ks) are used to build their hard X-ray luminosity distributions, returning the source duty cycles, the range of variability of the X-ray luminosity and the time spent in each luminosity state. The phenomenology observed with INTEGRAL, together with the source variability at soft X-rays taken from the literature, allows us to obtain a quantitative overview of the main sub-classes of massive binaries in accretion (Be/XRBs, SgHMXBs and SFXTs). Although some criteria can be derived to distinguish them, some SgHMXBs exist with intermediate properties, bridging together persistent SgHMXBs and SFXTs.

The sample used in this study were 11 companies in the 2019-2021 period consisting of Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (DVLA), Indofarma Tbk (INAF), PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF), Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), Merck Tbk (BRAND), PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA), Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA), PT Organon Pharma Indonesia Tbk (SCPI), PT Sido Muncul Herbal and Pharmaceutical Industry Tbk (SIDO), Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), and Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk (SDPC). The results of the study found that there were no differences in financial performance before and during the covid-19 virus in pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX in terms of liquidity ratios, activity ratios, and profitability ratios. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is no difference in financial performance before and during the covid-19 pandemic. Abstrak Tujuan Penelitian untuk melihat perbedaan kinerja keuangan sebelum dan saat virus covid-19 pertama kali di umumkan di Indonesia, pada perusahaan Farmasi yang terdaftar di BEI. AGILE is an ASI space mission in collaboration with INAF, INFN and CIFS, dedicated to the observation of the gamma-ray Universe in the 30 MeV - 50 GeV energy range, with simultaneous X-ray imaging capability in the 18-60 keV band. The AGILE satellite was launched on April 23rd, 2007, and produced several important scientic results, among which the unexpected discovery of strong <br />ares from the Crab Nebula. This discovery won to the AGILE PI and the AGILE Team the Bruno Rossi Prize for 2012 by the High Energy Astrophysics division of the American Astronomical Society. Thanks to its sky monitoring capability and fast ground segment alert system, AGILE detected many Galactic and extragalactic sources: among other results AGILE discovered gamma-ray emission from the microquasar Cygnus X-3, detected many bright blazars, discovered several new gamma-ray pulsars, and discovered emission up to 100 MeV from Terrestrial Gamma-Ray Flashes. We present an overview of the main AGILE Data Center activities and the AGILE scientic highlights after 6 years of operations.

This article investigates the design of application interfaces and the development of activities based on the principles of active methodologies that focus on the social inclusion of a population with low linguistic proficiency in the Portuguese language spoken in Brazil. The focus is on the inclusive, smart and suitable design of activities for learning and improving the writing and reading levels of these individuals, who are classified as functional illiterates, as defined by the National Indicator of Functional Literacy (INAF). They feel the direct impact of access to new technologies mainly because they cannot read written documents and interpret visual language. The people on whom this study focuses are keen to improve their native language skills but should also be guided and helped by an inclusive design in technological applications. They use WhatsApp to produce communications and exchange content, whether through audio messages or pictures, but they avoid writing or reading text. In this paper, we propose an inclusive smart design for an application to expand the possibilities of linguistic communication.

We describe a new tool developed for solar flare forecasting on the base of some sunspot group properties. Assuming that the flare frequency follows the Poisson statistics, this tool uses a database containing the morphological characteristics of the sunspot groups daily observed by the Equatorial Spar of INAF – Catania Astrophysical Observatory since January 2002 up today. By means of a linear combination of the flare rates computed on the base of some properties of the sunspot groups, like area, number of pores and sunspots, Zurich class, relative importance between leading spot and density of the sunspot population, and type of penumbra of the main sunspot, we determine the probability percentages that a flare of a particular energy range may occur. Comparing our forecasts with the flares registered by GOES satellites in the 1–8 Å X-ray band during the subsequent 24 h we measured the performance of our method. We found that this method, which combines some morphological parameters and a statistical technique, has the best performances for the strongest events, which are more interesting for their implications in the Earth environment.

Background and Purpose: Intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i) overload occurs in myocardial ischemia and ­reperfusion. The augmentation of the late sodium current (INaL) causes intracellular Na+ accumulation and subsequent [Ca2+]i overload via the reverse mode of the Na+/Ca2+ exchange current (reverse-INCX), which can lead to arrhythmia and cardiac dysfunction. Thus, inhibition of INaL is a potential therapeutic approach for ischemic heart disease. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of thyroid hormone on augmented INaL, reverse-INCX, altered action potential duration (APD), and [Ca2+]i concentration in hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R)-induced ventricular myocytes in vitro. Methods: The transient Na+ current (INaT), INaL, reverse-INCX, and APs were recorded using a whole-cell patch-clamp technique in neonatal mouse ventricular myocytes. [Ca2+]i concentration alteration were, respectively, observed by confocal microscopy and flow cytometry. Results: Triiodothyronine (T3) pretreatment decreased the INaL in a concentration-dependent manner. H/R injury aggravated the INaL, INaT, and reverse-INCX in cardiomyocytes and increased the continuous accumulation of [Ca2+]i (p < 0.05). The application of T3 prior to H/R injury significantly decreased the increased INaL, INaT, and reverse-INCX and blunted the [Ca2+]i increase. Furthermore, T3 pretreatment shortened the APD induced by H/R injury. Conclusion: T3 inhibited H/R-increased INaL and reverse INCX augmentation, shortened the APD, and diminished [Ca2+]i overload, indicating a potential therapeutic use of T3 as an INaL inhibitor to maintain Ca2+ homeostasis and protect cardiomyocytes against H/R injury.

This is being realized with open source technologies, such as the RML mapping language or the JARQL tool that uses Linked Data to describe the conversion of XML, JSON or tabular data into RDF. The first challenge consisted in making possible the dialog of heterogeneous data sources, coming from four different library software (Clavis, Erasmo, SBNWeb and BIBLIOWin 5.0web) and different types of data (bibliographic, multimedia, and archival). The information contained in the catalogs is progressively interlinked with external data sources, such as Wikidata, VIAF, LoC and BNF authority files, Wikipedia and the Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani. State-owned enterprises (SOEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy. In Indonesia, SOEs have contributed around 16.41% for the Indonesian state budget. Many Indonesian state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have listed their stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. However, the study on the performance of SOEs’ stocks is still relatively limited and tends to use indicators such as Sharpe Index, Treynor Ratio or Jensen Index. In addition to using indicators such as Sharpe Index, Treynor Ratio or Jensen Index, this study examines the performance of SOEs’ stocks using Adjusted Sharpe Index, Adjusted Jensen Index and Sortino Ratio that can measure the downside risk of those stocks. The objective of this study is to analyze the performance of the SOEs’ stocks in Indonesia. The sample in this research were 19 SOEs’ stocks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period from January 2013 until April 2019. The result of this research indicated that INAF (PT Indo Farma) stocks had the best performance when measured by using all measurement methods. The performing stocks came from the construction sector and the pharmaceutical sector. Therefore, investors are suggested to give more attention to SOEs from the pharmaceutical sector and the construction sector.

Earlier, we suggested the “reload” concept of the polarimetric reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei (AGN), proposed for the first time more than 10 years ago. We have successfully tested this approach of reverberation mapping of the broad emission line on the galaxy Mrk 6. It was shown that such an idea allows one to look at the AGN central parsec structure literally in a new light. However, the method originally assumed the use of spectropolarimetric observations, expensive in terms of telescope time, and implemented on rare large telescopes. Currently, we propose an adaptation of the polarimetric reverberation mapping of broad lines in medium-band filters following the idea of the photometric reverberation mapping, when filters are selected so that their bandwidth is oriented to the broad line and the surrounding continuum near. In this paper, we present the progress status of such monitoring conducted jointly at the Special astrophysical observatory and Asiago Cima Ekar observatory (OAPd/INAF) with support from Rozhen National Astronomical Observatory (NAO), some first results for the most frequently observed AGNs Mrk 335, Mrk 509, and Mrk 817, and the discussion of the future perspectives of the campaign.

Likely floods, forest fires, pests, and disease outbreaks are the important factors that can decrease forest productivity as a reciprocal relationship between forest disturbance and deforestation. The development of plantation forests and natural forest nurseries is one solution to maintain forest resources by reducing deforestation rates and conserving biodiversity. In this study, to conserve native trees of Kalimantan, we explored natural seedlings in their habitats as part of sustainable forest management. The study was conducted at IUPHHK-HTI PT Korintiga Hutani (PT KTH) from 2019 to date. Seedling explorations were carried out in Bukit Panjang and Sungai Inaf Besar. The collection method used wild seedlings (soil aggregate was still compacted in the roots). Furthermore, wild seedlings were grown in a polybag (23 × 15 cm) and stored in shading areas. Then, for acclimatization, it was transplanted to a natural forest nursery. These results suggest that the nursery has collected 9 families, 10 genus, 13 species, and 9791 individuals with 2680 individuals, represent the majority of dominance. As much of 600 seedlings of Dipterocarpaceae were planted at the river border in PT KTH.

Simulation of the interactions between particles and matter in studies for developing X-rays detectors generally requires very long calculation times (up to several days or weeks). These times are often a serious limitation for the success of the simulations and for the accuracy of the simulated models. One of the tools used by the scientific community to perform these simulations is Geant4 (Geometry And Tracking) [2, 3]. On the best of experience in the design of the AVES cluster computing system, Federici et al. [1], the IAPS (Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali INAF) laboratories were able to develop a cluster computer system dedicated to Geant 4. The Cluster is easy to use and easily expandable, and thanks to the design criteria adopted it achieves an excellent compromise between performance and cost. The management software developed for the Cluster splits the single instance of simulation on the cores available, allowing the use of software written for serial computation to reach a computing speed similar to that obtainable from a native parallel software. The simulations carried out on the Cluster showed an increase in execution time by a factor of 20 to 60 compared to the times obtained with the use of a single PC of medium quality.
