Abstract:
To form people that develop in an active and compromised way their citizenship to solve community and country problems is the objective of our present education. However some specialists observe mistakes in our civic education noticing that it needs an integral and structural change. School is the perfect place to constantly practice citizenship through the practice of values, capacities and abilities that allow students interact among them, with their authorities and with society members. In this article, it presents a service-learning proposal which links learning and solidarity service in order to apply the acquired knowledge in the classroom for community service developing competences in daily contexts.
Formar personas capaces de ejercer su ciudadanía de una manera activa y comprometida para afrontar los problemas de la comunidad y del país es un propósito en la educación actual, sin embargo, algunos especialistas observan fallas en la formación ciudadana advirtiendo que precisa de un cambio integral y estructural. La escuela es el espacio de convivencia idóneo para el ejercicio permanente de la ciudadanía a través de la práctica de valores, capacidades yhabilidades que permiten a los alumnos interactuar entre ellos, con sus autoridades y con los miembros de la sociedad. En el presente artículo se plantea una propuesta de aprendizaje-servicio, que vincula el aprendizaje y el servicio solidario, para aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos en el aula al servicio de la comunidad, desarrollando competencias en contextos cotidianos.

Abstract:
Product-service systems (PSS), defined as a system of products, services, infrastructure, and networks that aims to satisfy customer needs, support business innovation and has the potential to lead to improved environmental performance. The adoption of PSS requires modifications in the business model of companies or even the creation of new ones. The decision to modify or create business models occurs in the fuzzy front-end through the development of proposals. In this sense, the creation of PSS proposals might assist the adoption of PSS business models in enterprises. However, companies still need support to adopt PSS business models due to three main reasons. First, most of the studies about PSS business models mention its importance but do not explore which content should compose such models. Second, PSS business models are explored considering a partial view of business model dimensions. Finally, there is a lack of methods and tools that support the adoption of PSS business models in the fuzzy front-end. Thereby, the aim of this study is to develop a method, named Configurator of PSS Proposals, to cope with these challenges and assist the creation of PSS proposals for current or new business models. By means of systematic literature review, consulting with experts and an explorative case study, the method was developed. It is composed by eight steps and each step addresses a business model dimension, e.g. value proposition. The steps encompass a range of tasks that must be performed in order to create a PSS proposal. To support carrying out the tasks, a help element is available. This help contains additional information to support the utilization of the method, such as: examples of companies that adopted PSS and hints of practices, methods and tools. To evaluate the method, it was applied through a case study in the context of a research project. The aim was to create a PSS proposal for a bicycle concept and verify whether the method reach its purpose, i.e. is able to support the creation of a PSS proposal. Final considerations include contributions and limitations of this study. An example of contribution of the method is provision of a shared knowledge about PSS between different areas of expertise. As limitation, the lack of application of the method in a real case is highlighted. Additionally, future research is addressed based mainly on the insights gathered in the second case study, e.g. the inclusion of new tasks and relations between them.
Sistema produto-serviço (SPS), definido como um sistema de produtos e serviços, infraestrutura e networks e que visa aumentar a satisfação de clientes, auxilia na inovação nos negócios e tem o potencial de levar à melhoria de desempenho ambiental. A adoção de SPS requer a criação ou modificação dos modelos de negócios das empresas. A decisão de criar ou modificar um modelo de negócio ocorre no fuzzy front-end por meio da criação de propostas. Desta forma, acredita-se que criação de propostas para SPS auxilia na adoção de modelos de negócio para SPS. No entanto, empresas requerem auxilio na adoção de modelos de negócio para PSS devido a três principais motivos. Primeiro, a maioria dos estudos sobre modelos de negócio para SPS mencionam sua importância, porém não exploram o conteúdo que deve compor esses modelos. Segundo, pesquisas sobre modelos de negócio para SPS levam em consideração uma visão parcial das dimensões de modelos de negócio. Finalmente, é constatada a carência de métodos e ferramentas que auxiliem na adoção de modelos de negócio para PSS no fuzzy front-end. O objetivo desse trabalho é desenvolver um método, denominado Configurador de Propostas de SPS, que guie empresas na criação de propostas de SPS para negócios novos e existentes. Por meio de revisão sistemática de literatura, consulta com especialistas e um estudo de caso exploratório, o método foi desenvolvido. Ele é composto por oito passos e cada passo aborda uma dimensão do modelo de negócios, como por exemplo, proposição de valor. Ainda, cada passo engloba várias tarefas que devem ser executadas para que a proposta de SPS seja criada. Como suporte para realizar as tarefas, um elemento ajuda foi criado. Este elemento inclui exemplos de empresas que adotaram SPS e dicas de práticas, métodos e ferramentas. Com objetivo de avaliar o método, uma aplicação no contexto de um projeto de pesquisa foi realizada, por meio de um estudo de caso. O objetivo dessa aplicação foi criar uma proposta de SPS para um conceito de uma bicicleta e verificar se o método alcança seu propósito, que é ajudar na criação de propostas de SPS. Considerações finais incluem contribuições e limitações do estudo. Um exemplo de contribuição do método é o fornecimento de um conhecimento compartilhado sobre PSS entre diferentes áreas de conhecimento. A falta de aplicação do método em um caso real é uma das limitações deste trabalho. Adicionalmente, pesquisas futuras são sugeridas, como por exemplo, a inclusão de novas tarefas no método e novas relações entre elas, conforme sugerido pelos participantes do segundo estudo de caso.

The materials administration system is a quite important activity for the public administration, since it involves human resources, materials and finances. An efficient planning is essential, mainly with respect to the classification and specification of materials to be purchased. In this work it will be discussed the procedures found in specialized literature and to propose a systematic methodology of purchasing and specifying lasting goods until the permission stage for the bidding. Aiming the specific objective to demonstrate that it is possible to do this activity, by the public school institutions, with guaranteed quality, in obedience to the law. The study will be focused on the school desks or the sets of school desk and chair. The reference is the University of Taubaté (UNITAU) and a comparison between the furniture of UNITAU and the one indicated by the technical standard of ABNT - Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas. In this case, with school desks, what happens is the no meeting by the fair amount of the teaching institution (public and private) to what is called ergometric study for the user. As the school desks are done for the students to attend classes in a room, anthropometrical study must be performed since they are the one who is going to use most of the time (at least four classes per day). It is widely known that learning is consequence of combination of didactics and pedagogic which must, among others, distinguish the satisfactory conditions of physical space, aeration, illumination, acoustic and comfortable chair for the student to feel good in the environment and consequently to reach the objective of his stay in the school the learning. The selected case involve research with the students, to wish the acquisition of the chairs with appropriate specification is, when possible in obedience to the technical standard, it certainly will provide required comfort and safety for them to feel pleasure in being in a classroom. For the institution, the certainty of the acquisition of goods of high confidence which fully satisfy the technical necessities.
O Sistema de Administração de Materiais é uma atividade de fundamental importância para a Administração Pública, pois envolve recursos humanos, materiais e financeiros, tornando imprescindível um planejamento eficiente, principalmente no que diz respeito à classificação e especificação dos materiais a serem adquiridos. Serão discutidos, neste trabalho, os procedimentos encontrados na literatura da área, e será proposta uma metodologia sistemática de compras e especificação de bens permanentes até a fase de autorização para o tipo de licitação, com o objetivo específico de demonstrar que é possível a realização dessa atividade, por instituições públicas de ensino, com qualidade assegurada, em obediência ao cumprimento da Lei de Licitações e Contratos Lei n 8666, de 21.06.1993 (atualizada pelas Leis ns 8883 de 08.06.1994, 9032 de 28.04.1995 e 9648 de 27.05.1998). O estudo será focalizado nas carteiras ou conjuntos de mesa e cadeira escolares. O referencial é a Universidade de Taubaté, e será feita uma comparação entre o mobiliário da UNITAU e o indicado por norma técnica da ABNT -Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas. No caso em pauta, carteiras escolares, o que se verifica é o não atendimento por boa parte das instituições de ensino (públicas ou particulares), ao que se denomina estudo ergonométrico do usuário. Se as carteiras escolares são feitas para que os alunos assistam às aulas em uma sala, deve-se estudar os dados antropométricos dos estudantes que irão utilizá-las, tendo em vista que eles passarão boa parte de seu tempo (pelo menos quatro horas /aulas), sentados em suas carteiras. É notório que um bom aprendizado decorre de um conjunto de medidas didático-pedagógicas que deve, entre outras, ressaltar as condições satisfatórias de espaço físico, aeração, iluminação, acústica e carteiras confortáveis, para que o aluno possa se sentir bem dentro do ambiente, e, conseqüentemente, atingir o objetivo de sua estada na escola o aprendizado. O caso selecionado envolve pesquisa com os alunos, aos quais a aquisição de carteiras com adequada especificação e, sempre que possível, em obediência às normas técnicas, certamente proporcionará o conforto e a segurança necessários para que eles sintam prazer em estar dentro da sala de aula. Para a instituição, a certeza da aquisição de um bem de alta confiabilidade, que irá satisfazer plenamente suas necessidades técnicas.

Child abuse and neglect often leads to a child's removal, necessitating the intervention of the Juvenile Dependency Court. Parents are provided with services aimed at mitigating the risk factors leading to the removal and safely facilitating reunification. Therefore, the purpose of this project was to develop a grant to fund a Safety Organized Practice training program focusing on family engagement for service providers contracted with Ventura County Children and Family Services. The proposed training program would provide specialized training to child welfare professionals in order to increase the quality of interventions provided by child welfare professionals, enhance the quality of their visitations with families, and help promote improved reunification rates. The potential funding source for this grant was the W.K. Kellogg Foundation as this program coincides with the foundation's focal beneficiaries. The actual submission and/or funding of this grant was not required for the successful completion of the project.

The purpose of this MBA Project was to investigate and provide a comprehensive analysis on a proposed implementation of a Fee For Service (FFS) structure for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). The goal of this project was to identify and document the applicability of a FFS in DCMA by comparing the seemingly redundant services provided by both the Program Management Offices and DCMA. Furthermore, this project analyzed the potential cost savings of a FFS achieved by enabling the PMO to pay for the services themselves vice utilizing DCMA as a "free" service provider. The Author's contention is NOT that DCMA is inefficient but that the system for identifying, procuring, and funding DCMA's services is inefficient.

Este trabalho resulta de uma pesquisa observacional, realizada no período de 2004 a 2005 em São Paulo, junto a um grupo de professores de física em formação continuada. Nossa problemática mais ampla se insere no contexto da formação de professores, e nosso problema inicial se sustentou no reconhecimento do aprendizado incipiente dos professores nos cursos, a contar pelas poucas mudanças resultantes em sua atuação. A primeira observação mais objetiva que deu origem ao problema específico de pesquisa foi o truncamento da seqüência pedagógica do professor, quando ele ensaia mudanças em sua prática a partir da tentativa de aplicação das propostas do curso. Percebemos que o incômodo do professor com essa ruptura gerada na seqüência muitas vezes o dissuadia de continuar a aplicar a novidade aprendida. Em que consiste esse truncamento e como ocorre? Quais são os obstáculos (conceituais/epistemológicos) do professor que podem causar o truncamento? Essa pergunta nos motivou a estudar quais são as características da atuação do professor em sala de aula e como essas características mudam, ou oscilam, quando o professor está em processo de re-elaboração de sua prática, motivado por um programa de formação. Escolhemos um grupo em formação continuada entendida por nós como construtivista. Analisamos a atuação dos professores sob esse referencial, e agrupamos suas características em três dimensões quanto à atuação mais direta em sala de aula - o professor e as estratégias, o professor e as habilidades e o professor e as atitudes - e duas dimensões quanto à reflexão e avaliação do professor sobre o seu trabalho - avaliação que o professor faz do seu trabalho e meta-avaliação ou tomada de consciência. Relacionamos o truncamento da seqüência pedagógica com a incoerência nas estratégias e atitudes do professor conforme ele aplica a teoria de ensino que está aprendendo, mas mantém aspectos de sua prática ainda embasados na teoria antiga. Concluímos que o aprendizado de uma nova teoria de ensino e sua aplicação em sala de aula requer uma mudança atitudinal de base, mais fundamental do que possíveis mudanças nas estratégias de ensino, passíveis de planejamento. A mudança de atitudes é complexa, porque envolve mais que simples substituições, e prolongada, pois depende de feedback a situações concretas trazidas da prática.
This work is the result of an observational research, carried out in the period of 2004 to 2005, in Sao Paulo, along with a group of highschool physics teachers in in-service teacher training course. Our broader issue is inserted in the context of teacher education and our initial problem was based in the recognition of the incipient learning of teachers in the courses, as identified from the few changes resultant in their practice. The first more objective observation that gave birth to our research question was the teachers\' fragmentation of the pedagogical sequence when trying out changes in their practice; that fragmentation coming from attempts of aplication of the course\'s proposals. We noted that the discomfort of the teacher with this generated disruption in the sequence many times discouraged them from persisting in putting the new learning into practice. What does this fragmentation consist of and how does it occur? What are the obstacles (conceptual, epistemological) of the teacher that can cause the disruption? This question motivated us to study the characteristics of teacher practices in the classroom and how these characteristics change, or oscilate, when teachers are in process of re-elaboration of their practice, fostered by a teacher education program. We chose a group participating of an in-service teacher training program, which we understand as constructivist. We analysed the classroom practice of the teachers within this framework and grouped their characteristics into three dimensions as of their more direct classroom practice - teacher and their strategies, teacher and their habilities, and teacher and their attitudes - and two dimensions as of the reflection and self-evaluation of their work - evaluation that teacher makes of their work and meta-evaluation. We related the fragmentation of the pedagogical sequence with the incoherence in the teachers\' strategies and attitudes when they apply the teaching theory they are learning, but at the same time maintain aspects of their practice still founded into the old theory. We concluded that the learning of a new teaching theory requires a ground attitudinal change, more fundamental than possible changes in the teaching strategies, these ones capable of planning. An attitude change is complex as it involves more than mere substitutions, and time-taking, as it depends on feedback to concrete situations brought from the classroom practice.

Astronomy classes in the high school, are usually used only to elucidate some physical issues when they could be addressed in a way to make students learn physics using astronomy. Astronomy is no longer a curricular subject for a long time, but belongs of the physics curriculum and can be taught to high school students through the structuring theme Universe, Earth and life. This work developed a didactic sequence that addresses the theme the Solar System and Stellar Evolution, to be applied in high school initial series. Our intention is to provide the teacher a study that it is possible to make the astronomy classes attractive to students, boosters and able to keep students intrested in physics. The proposed activities are based on many teaching methodologies that fit according to the content to be worked making more relaxed classes, where the student is no longer mere supporting and becomes an essential part of the process. In the project development was revealed that several students who at first were reluctant, yielded to the methodology proposed by the didactic sequence, spontaneously started to participate. We also noted, after the analyses of the results with qualitative data, that students were more engaged in the learning process, facilitating the development of the proposed abilities, ensuring the skills needed to finish the process.
As aulas de Astronomia no ensino médio, geralmente são utilizadas apenas para elucidar alguns temas de física quando poderiam ser abordadas de maneira a fazer com que o aluno aprendesse física pela Astronomia. A Astronomia já não é uma disciplina curricular há muito tempo, mas faz parte do currículo de física e pode ser ensinada aos alunos do ensino médio através do tema estruturador Universo, Terra e Vida. Neste trabalho foi desenvolvida uma sequência didática que aborda como tema o Sistema Solar e Evolução Estelar, para ser aplicada na série inicial do ensino médio. Nossa intenção é disponibilizar para o professor resultados de um estudo de que é possível fazer com que as aulas de Astronomia sejam atraentes aos alunos, incentivadoras e que prendam os alunos a física. As atividades propostas são baseadas em várias metodologias de ensino que se encaixam de acordo com o conteúdo a ser trabalhado tornando as aulas mais descontraídas, onde o aluno deixa de ser mero coadjuvante e se torna parte essencial da aula. No desenvolvimento do projeto foi possível perceber que vários alunos que a princípio estavam relutantes, cederam à metodologia proposta pela sequência didática, participando espontaneamente do projeto. Notamos também, após a análise dos resultados com dados qualitativos, que os alunos se mostraram mais empenhados nos processos de ensino, facilitando o desenvolvimento das habilidades propostas, garantindo as competências necessárias ao fim do processo.

This study aims to understand the process of constituting a specific proposal for in-service training. The research involves a situation of teacher training began in 2010 and continued in 2011/2012. The training proposal was conceived, organized and carried out by and for educators of a particular Board of Education, the Municipal School of São Paulo, with the purpose of the training and self-training, culminating in a meeting called "I Educators Seminar" involving about 1400 teachers, among them managers, teachers and other school employees. To achieve our objective we chose to describe, analyze and explain the process of incorporation of the proposed in-service formation through the senses and meanings made by one of the teachers devised and also those contained in material produced by the group of educators participating in the proposal. The procedures used to obtain the data of the research were: 1. Analysis of the text produced by the collective group of educators to justify the organization and implementation of the proposed in-service formation, 2. Interview with one of the organizers and educators devised the proposed in-service formation. Was used for data analysis - "meaning core" - as proposed by Aguiar and Ozella (2006). The research is based on sociohistorical perspective and uses the theoretical assumptions of Vygotsky (2004) and his followers to achieve the genesis of the phenomenon. In the analyzes, the search for effective and increase the participation of teachers, reveals, among various aspects identified as determining feature.It appears that the proposed formation set up: with intent defined, theoretically grounded; concerned to consider the training needs of teachers, with the purpose of enhancing teacher practice to give visibility to the work that develop at school, engaged in creating space conducive to discussion and reflection of daily school and teaching practices, to achieve a moment of analysis and intervention of teaching practices confronted with educational theories and finally, in trying to suppress the gap between theory and practice to achieve praxis. It is observed that the proposed training tries enable some indications that the national and international literature (Fullan, 1982, 2009; Imbernon, 2009, 2010; Guskey, 1995; Souza, 2006; Longarezi, Alves, 2009) has demonstrated certain proximity: ongoing formation should occur continuously, consider the working conditions of teachers, and involve the collective management team throughout the training process, with the primary objective: to improve the conditions of teaching and learning
O presente estudo objetiva compreender o processo constitutivo de uma proposta específica de formação em serviço. A pesquisa envolve uma situação de formação de educadores iniciada em 2010 e continuada em 2011/2012. A proposta de formação foi idealizada, organizada e realizada por e para educadores de uma determinada Diretoria de Ensino da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Paulo, tendo como propósito a formação e auto-formação e culminado com um encontro denominado I Seminário de Educadores , envolvendo cerca de 1400 educadores, dentre estes, gestores, professores e demais funcionários das escolas. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto optamos por descrever, analisar e explicar o processo constitutivo desta proposta de formação em serviço por meio dos sentidos e significados constituídos por uma das educadoras idealizadoras e ainda, daqueles contidos em material produzido pelo grupo de educadores participantes da proposta. Os procedimentos utilizados para obtenção dos dados da pesquisa foram: 1. Análise do texto coletivo produzido pelo grupo de educadores para justificar a organização e realização da proposta de formação em serviço; 2. Entrevista com uma das educadoras idealizadoras e organizadoras da proposta de formação em serviço. Utilizou-se, para a análise dos dados - núcleos de significação - tal como proposto por Aguiar e Ozella (2006). A pesquisa fundamenta-se na perspectiva sócio-histórica e utiliza os pressupostos teóricos de Vigotski (2004) e seus seguidores para alcançar a gênese do fenômeno. Nas análises realizadas, a busca por aumentar e efetivar a participação dos professores, se revela dentre os vários aspectos identificados, como característica determinante. Constata-se que a proposta de formação configura-se: com intencionalidade definida; fundamentada teoricamente; preocupada em considerar as necessidades formativas dos professores; com propósito de valorizar a prática do professor ao dar visibilidade aos trabalhos que desenvolvem na escola; engajada em criar espaço propício à discussão e reflexão do cotidiano escolar e das práticas docentes; em alcançar um momento de análise e intervenção das práticas pedagógicas confrontadas com as teorias educacionais; por fim, em tentar suprimir a lacuna existente entre teoria e prática para alcançar a práxis. Percebe-se que a proposta de formação tenta viabilizar alguns indicativos que a literatura nacional e internacional (Fullan, 1982, 2009; Imbernón, 2009, 2010; Guskey & Huberman, 1995; Souza, 2006; Longarezi, Alves, 2009) vem demonstrando certa proximidade: a formação permanente deve ocorrer de forma contínua, considerar as condições laborais dos professores, envolver o coletivo e a equipe gestora em todo o processo de formação, tendo como objetivo primordial: melhorar as condições de ensino-aprendizagem

Managing a sustainable service business rests on two critical customer perceptions: Firstly, the perceived sufficiency of the value of the service, and secondly the level of value differentiation between the current service provider other service providers in the market. (DeSarbo, Ebbs, Fong & Snow, 2010; Parasuraman & Grewal, 2000) The direction for this study was prompted by the limited research available around service quality for Supply Logistics within the global automotive industry. The study identified the key factors that logistics service providers need to focus on when aligning their perceptions of service quality to that of their customers. The service gaps between customer and service provider perceptions are uncovered. Particular focus was given to: The definition gaps in service quality, The perceived level of service quality, and The size of service quality differentiation between service providers. The key finding of the study is that service differentiation is influenced by the ability of the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) to deliver a quality of service in line with the level of importance the various elements hold to the customer. The causal relationships offered a step wise understanding of improving the perceptions of customers. This perception forming process is outlined as follows: Firstly, create a common understanding of the definition of service quality and establish the comparative importance of the various elements. Having an understanding of how customers’ value service quality is a critical first step in delivering superior service. A proposed Service Quality Framework for multi-national Supply Logistics providers in the South African automotive industry Secondly, align efforts to achieve in accordance to the level of importance of the service elements. If this is achieved, LSP’s will retain positive differentiation to its competitors irrespective of the actions of those competitors. Lastly, LSP’s need to regularly review if their own perception of the service level (per element) is in line with that of the customer. The study created a service quality framework of 22 different service elements grouped in four service factors. The relative importance of these elements were uncovered. This offered insight for organizing the business around key service elements. Within Supply Logistics the operational-management-tools, engineering-skills, processes-stability and management-structure are typical elements around which customers form their perceptions. The quality of the direct staff holds the key to sustained customer satisfaction, much more so than the commercial arrangements, industry innovations and the prestige of the brand behind the service. This study laid a foundation from which future research can deeper explore the unique slant that geographical, organisational designation or customer brand lines hold on the service quality perception.

When implementing an intelligent transportation system (ITS), stakeholders often overlook the importance of evaluating the system once it is in place. Determining the extent to which the objectives of an investment have been met is important to not only the agency involved, but also to other agencies, so that lessons are learned and mistakes are not repeated in future projects. An effective evaluation allows a transit provider to identify and address areas that could use improvement. Agencies implementing ITS investments often have different goals, needs, and concerns that they hope their project will address and consequently the development of a generic evaluation plan is difficult to develop. While it is recognized that the U.S. Department of Transportation has developed guidelines to aid agencies in evaluating such investments, this research is intended to complement these guidelines by assisting in the evaluation of a site specific ITS investment. It presents an evaluation framework and plan that provides a systematic method for assessing the potential impacts associated with the project by defining objectives, measures, analysis recommendations, and data requirements. The framework developed specifically addresses the ITS investment on the OmniLink local route deviation bus service in Prince William County, Virginia, but could be used as a basis for the evaluation of similar ITS investments. The OmniLink ITS investment includes an automatic vehicle location (AVL) system, mobile data terminals (MDTs), and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) technology.

The goal of this essay is to share the project proposal about the use of the action research approach in the degree completion award process for students in thePre-school and Primary Education specialization in a private higher education institution of Lima. This is done within the framework of the implementationprocess for the new curriculum plan initiated in 2013. In that sense, we highlightthe characteristics of this type of research that have been embodied in practice, theprocess followed for its application, as well as achievements, difficulties and theaspects that we still need to work out. Lastly, some thoughts are proposed to consolidate this type of research in the academic and organizational structure of thisinstitution, which could prove useful for higher education institutions interestedin the implementation of this research approach.

Based on my experience and the available literature I believe that many art teachers perceive that they are unprepared to adequately teach special needs students in their art classrooms. The review of literature supports the visual arts for individuals with disabilities. The inclusion movement in schools increases the likelihood that a teacher will have students with disabilities in their art classroom. It is suggested that art educators would benefit from at least one course in their pre-service training that specifically addresses art education for students with special needs. This content analysis of pre-service art education programs reveals that 5 of 18 programs studied, (28%), require such a course, with no other option, to fulfill the special education requirement. Using the published literature, my own experience, and current practices a proposed curriculum was created for an undergraduate course in art education for special needs in the inclusive art classroom.

O tema desse projeto foi o processo de elaboração e implantação da proposta curricular da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Irecê, organizada em Ciclos de Aprendizagem. O estudo teve como objetivo investigar quais foram os fatores facilitadores e dificultadores da implantação da proposta curricular na ótica dos professores participantes. O resultado da pesquisa fundamentará a proposta de intervenção que tem como objetivo a implantação da nova Proposta Curricular, organizada em Ciclo de Formação Humana. Para tal, foi utilizada a pesquisa de campo, com abordagem qualitativa e a técnica de grupo focal. É apresentado um breve histórico do processo de elaboração das duas propostas curriculares, onde se aborda questões sobre as consequências da sua utilização e as possíveis leituras que podem ser feitas a partir de um currículo “imposto” e dialogo sobre o papel do professor como mediador em uma proposta prescritiva. A pesquisa mostrou que a forma como se implanta uma proposta curricular determina o seu sucesso ou o seu fracasso, pois os professores não são meros executores. Eles interpretam e acrescentam à cultura escolar, criando e recriando as suas práticas, para tanto faz-se necessária uma formação em exercício de qualidade e, na época, a formação que foi oferecida era pontual e precedente, onde primeiro se aprendia e depois executava. Ouvir e compreender o professor e as suas necessidades dá um novo rumo à formação em exercício e a forma de ver e pensar a educação no município. Esse trabalho foi feito como um panô africano, um tipo de artesanato de origem africana em que vários retalhos, de diferentes tamanhos e cores são reunidos para representar uma cena e contar histórias através de imagens. Assim, foi escolhido a proposta curricular implantada na rede Municipal de Ensino de Irecê como a parte significativa dessa história, como a imagem a ser trabalhada, a parte que será redesenhada, relembrada, repensada, pesquisada e a proposta curricular em ciclo de Formação Humana como a parte que será alvo da intervenção. À medida que os fios das memórias dos professores foram sendo puxados, foi sendo tecido os panôs e entendendo as dificuldades para se implantar uma proposta curricular, os desafios dela advindos, bem como o crescimento pessoal e profissional dos atores envolvidos.
ABSTRACT The theme of this research is the process of elaboration and implementation of the curricular proposal from the Public Education of Irecê, organized in Cycles of Learning in the period from 2000 to 2004. The study aimed to investigate of the facilitator and difficultator factors in the process of implementation on the Curricular Proposal on teacher’s optical participants. The result shall justify the implementation of new Curricular Proposal, organized into Human Formation Cycle, which is the intervention project of the Professional Master’s Degree in Education. To this end, I used field research with qualitative approach and focal group. I present a brief history of the process of elaboration, aboard issues on consequences of their use and the possible readings that can be made from a "forced" curriculum and I dialogue on the role of the teacher as mediator in prescriptive proposal. We know that the way he deploys a curricular proposal determines your success or failure, because teachers are not mere executioners. They interpret and add the school culture, creating and recreating their practices. And, at the time, the formation that was offered was punctual and precedent, where first learned and then ran. In this context, to hear and understand the teacher and their needs gives a new direction to in-service formation and the way of looking and thinking about education. This research was done as an African panô, a type of workmanship of African origin in several flaps, of different sizes and colors are brought together to represent a scene and tell stories through images. So, I chose the curricular proposal implemented in the Public Education of Irecê as the significant part of this story, as the image to be processed, the part I want to repaint, remember, rethink, search and intervene. As the threads of memories of teachers were being pulled, we were weaving panôs and understanding the difficulties, in order to deploy a proposal, her challenges arising, as well as the professional growth of the actors involved.

Esta pesquisa objetiva analisar os procedimentos utilizados em uma ação de formação contínua em serviço, cuja intenção é contribuir para que os educadores construam práticas inclusivas, a partir da identificação do quê, do como, do para quê são realizados e sua articulação com o por quê, isto é, com princípios de formação de orientação inclusiva. Para identificar esses princípios, como perspectivas teóricas, buscou-se a articulação interdisciplinar entre leituras sobre o tema da Educação Inclusiva e da Formação Contínua de Educadores em Serviço. Essas leituras se deram a partir do campo da psicanálise e suas contribuições para a área educacional; do construtivismo; da filosofia; da sociologia; da terapia ocupacional e da didática e da metodologia de ensino. Utilizou-se a metodologia qualitativa com estratégias de pesquisa-ação. O campo empírico foi uma ação de formação contínua em serviço desenvolvida no município de Mauá (SP). Foram registradas em audiovisual reuniões de planejamento, de avaliação e de atividades desenvolvidas em dois grupos de trabalho dessa ação em 2005, bem como, foram utilizados registros escritos que já faziam parte das atividades de rotina para análise do material empírico. A partir desse material, identificaram-se como procedimentos centrais: identificação de necessidades, planejamento, acolhimento, apresentação e discussão de temas específicos, análise de atividades e materiais, relato de experiências, retomada do encontro anterior, registro e avaliação. Verificou-se que esses procedimentos procuraram favorecer a mobilização dos sujeitos para a construção dos seus saberes textuais (MRECH, 2005), para lidarem com a diversidade de situações possíveis de serem vividas e realizarem práticas inclusivas. E, também, que eles procuraram ser realizados respeitando-se os princípios de constituição do sujeito educador; respeito e valorização da singularidade dos sujeitos; construção da autonomia; realização de atividades educacionais articuladas às possíveis necessidades e características dos sujeitos e contextos vividos; articulação teoria e prática; construção de atitudes e práticas construtivas, interdisciplinares, cooperativas, solidárias e de respeito mútuo. Todo referencial teórico estudado e, sobretudo, a contribuição da ética psicanalítica a esta pesquisa, indicam a importância de procedimentos educacionais não serem realizados de forma padronizada e que os efeitos que esses provocam em cada sujeito envolvido nas ações formativas não podem ser controlados. Indica também que um curso não pode, por si só, modificar os sujeitos envolvidos em curto prazo, se não houver o desejo deles para as mudanças. Assim, uma função importante a ser considerada nos procedimentos educacionais por aqueles que educam, é a de mobilizarem o desejo dos educandos e os seus próprios para a realização de processos de formação construtivos, criativos, flexíveis e inclusivos.
This research objective to analyze procedures used in action of formation during service, which intention is to contribute so that the educators may construct inclusive practice, from the identification of what, of how, of what for they are carried through and its articulation with the why, that is, with principles of formation of inclusive orientation. To identify these principles, as theoretical, it was tried to make an interdisciplinary articulation with some readings on the subject of Inclusive Education and Formation of Educators during Service. These readings were made from some different areas, like psychoanalysis and its contributions for the educational area; constructivism; philosophy; sociology; occupational therapy; didactics and the methods of teaching. The method was qualitative with strategies of action research. The empirical field was an action of training developed during service in the city of Mauá (SP). The meetings for planning, evaluation and activities developed in two work groups of this action of 2005 were recorded in audio-visual tape, as well as used written registers that already were part of the routine activities for analysis of the empirical material. From this material it had been identified as main procedures: the identification of needs, the planning, the welcome, the presentation and the discussion of specific subjects, the activities and the materials analysis, the reporting of experiences, the resume of the previous meeting, the registers and the evaluation. It was verified that these procedures promoted the mobilization of the subjects for the construction of their textual knowledge (MRECH, 2005) to deal with the diversity of possible situations to be lived and to carry through inclusive practice. And, also, they were carried through looking for respect the constitution of the educator subject principles; respect and recovery the singularity of the subjects; autonomy construction; accomplishment of educational activities articulated to the possible needs and features lived of the subjects and their experienced contexts; theory and practical articulation; construction of practice and attitudes that are constructive, interdisciplinary, cooperative, solidarity and of mutual respect. All the theoretician referential that was studied and, over all, the contribution of the psychoanalysis ethics to this research, indicates the importance that the educational procedures do not be carried through in a standardized way and that the effect that these causes in each subject involved in the shares formation cannot be controlled. It also indicates that a course cannot, by itself, modify the involved subjects in short term and if there is not the desire of themselves for the changes. Thus, an important function for those that educates, and that might be considered in the educational procedures, is to mobilize the desire of the learners and themselves for the accomplishment of constructive, creative, flexible and inclusive processes of formation.

A presente pesquisa pautou-se no estudo sobre a participação docente nas discussões das políticas educacionais e objetivou analisar a participação dos professores da rede municipal de educação de São Luís/MA na elaboração da proposta de formação continuada dos professores, sob a ótica do Programa São Luís Te Quero Lendo e Escrevendo PSLTQLE. O espaço temporal da investigação é de 2002 a 2007, e contou com o envolvimento de cento e onze professores do ensino fundamental e dezenove escolas dos sete núcleos da rede. A metodologia adotada foi a abordagem qualitativa com aplicação de questionário e análise documental para sustentação dos dados. Com o resultado dos dados coletados, foi possível analisar que, no contexto das políticas públicas, algumas práticas precisam ser repensadas ou desenvolvidas numa perspectiva democrática de participação. Nessa conjuntura, posso descrever alguns avanços tais como: melhor compreensão das atribuições e responsabilidades das instituições que viabilizam e asseguram os direitos participativos nas políticas públicas educacionais, pela forma como são difundidas; tomada de decisão dos docentes para a construção de uma consciência política, por conceberem a educação como ato político; promoção de ações que permitiram melhorar a compreensão dos docentes, coordenadores pedagógicos e gestores educacionais para os processos participativos. Todavia, alguns percalços que constato como limitação para o desenvolvimento de uma política eficiente e eficaz caracterizada pela fragilidade na construção de uma pauta de trabalho para que contemple a formação política do educador. Além disso, essa política deve combater a segregação existente na forma como são feitas as convocações aos educadores para a participação na elaboração das propostas. Ainda ressalto que ficou explícito que os elementos constitutivos da proposta de formação continuada trazem consigo objetivos comuns e visões dicotômicas, que precisam ser definidas no diálogo. Não obstante a essas limitações, é coerente considerar a importância da estruturação do PSLTQLE para a elaboração da proposta de formação continuada para a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Luís/MA, ratificando assim que sem as possibilidades de participação toda política se torna insustentável.

This research was guided by a study carried about teachers´ participation in the discussion about educational policies. The purpose was to analyze the participation of teachers from the municipal educational system in the city of São Luís/MA in the organization of a proposal for continuous learning for teachers in-service, under the perspective of a program called "Programa São Luís Te Quero Lendo e Escrevendo" (PSLTQLE). The investigation covered years 2002 to 2007 and involved on 111 elementary school teachers and 19 schools from 7 nuclei of the public system. The methodology used was a qualitative research based on questionnaires that were distributed and document analysis to support the data. With the data collected, it was possible to analyze that, in the context of public policies, some practices need to be rethought or developed in a democratic perspective of participation. Under those circumstances, it is possible to describe a few advances, such as: a better understanding of the responsibilities and duties for those institutions that make it available and ensure participative rights in educational public policies, from the way they are promoted; the decision making by the teachers for the construction of some political awareness, conceiving education as a political act; promotion of actions that enabled a better understanding of the teachers, pedagogical coordinators, and educational managers for participative processes. However, there are some mishaps I see as a limitation for the development of an effective and efficient policy characterized by the fragility in building a work agenda that may contemplate the political education of the educators themselves. In addition to that, this policy should fight segregation observed in the way the educators are called to participate in the organization of the proposals. Still, I point out that it became explicit to our eyes that the elements that constitute the proposal for continuous education bring along common objectives and dichotomic views that need to be defined upon dialog. And despite such limitations it is coherent to disregard the importance of how PSLTQLE is structured in order to elaborate the proposal for continuous education for the Municipal Education Bureau (Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Luís/MA), thus ractifying that, without the possibilities of participating, all policies become unsustainable.

The title of this dissertation: Teacher Continuing Education in Ensino Fundamental I : subsides for a proposition in analysis arose from some questions along the researcher s life, school and professional experience. Along her continuing education, the author noticed the changes in her view and in her theoretical and practical knowledge. She noticed how that knowledge enriched her work. However, the formative investments were not enough for all teachers. By having to handle work overload (forty eight to sixty hours a week), the teachers had very little possibility to attend continuing education programs out of their working hours. The continuing education in service sometimes was the only formative opportunity for most teachers; that is the reason why the author started to question the usual teacher continuing education programs and their subsides for practice. Thus, the problem for the present research arose. How the experienced models analyzed here may or may not help teachers take a new pedagogical model, by offering clues to a continuing education that makes sense for the group of teachers as well as for practice transformation? The present work brings the hypothesis that a continuing education that makes sense to the teachers could provoke changes in educational and social context. In search for the answer to that question, the methodology approach involves qualitative, bibliographical and documental research regarding exploratory, descriptive, analytical, evaluative and interpretative research, focusing some principles and actions of propositions for continuing education that are developed in the researched school, trying to understand how those practices may or may not help teachers take a new pedagogical model. The data collection is made from observation and description of situations in school documents. The data analysis is based on theoretical referred authors. The referred school is a city public school in São Bernardo do Campo/SP. The researcher works in that school as PAP (Pedagogical Coordinator). The involved subjects are teachers under her coordination in formative activities and other school management workers: principal, assistant principal, Educational program teacher, Interactive school library teacher and Pedagogical Counselor. The dissertation conclusion is that it is possible to develop continuing education of good quality. It shows the difficulties to find a systematized and intentional work as well as the factors that favor or complicate the formative process of the group of teachers in their work site. It shows didactic propositions, evaluation and their repercussion in the teacher s pedagogical and practical scenario
O tema título desta dissertação: Formação Continuada de Professores do Ensino Fundamental I: subsídios para uma proposta em análise nasceu de inquietações que despontaram ao longo da experiência de vida, escolar e profissional da pesquisadora. Por meio de sua formação continuada, a autora observava a transformação do seu olhar, do seu repertório prático e teórico. Percebia o quanto tal repertório enriquecia o seu fazer profissional. Entretanto, os investimentos formativos oferecidos eram insuficientes para todos os docentes. Diante da carga horária assumida pela maior parte das professoras (quarenta e oito a sessenta horas semanais), a possibilidade de realizar alguma outra formação fora do horário de trabalho era pequena. Não raro, a formação continuada em serviço se apresentava como a única oportunidade formativa para a grande maioria de professoras; por essa razão, a autora passou a questionar os moldes das formações continuadas que os professores vêm recebendo e os subsídios que essas formações oferecem para a prática. Assim nasceu o problema que move esta pesquisa: Em que medida os modelos vivenciados e aqui analisados auxiliam ou não o professor a apropriar-se de um novo fazer pedagógico, oferecendo pistas para a realização de uma formação continuada que faça sentido tanto para o grupo de professores quanto para a transformação das práticas? O trabalho parte da hipótese de que uma formação continuada que faça sentido ao professor, de qualidade, poderia promover a transformação no contexto escolar, educacional e social. Em busca da resposta à questão formulada, a metodologia adotada é a pesquisa qualitativa, bibliográfica e documental visando uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva, analítica, avaliativa e interpretativa, abarcando alguns princípios e ações de propostas de formação continuada de professores utilizados na escola em questão, procurando entender em que medida essas práticas vivenciadas auxiliam ou não o professor a se apropriar de um novo fazer pedagógico. Utiliza para a coleta de dados, além da observação, as descrições de situações em documentos do contexto escolar. A análise de tais dados se faz fundamentada em autores abordados no referencial teórico. Esta pesquisa toma como cenário uma Escola de Ensino Fundamental I municipal, da rede de ensino de São Bernardo do Campo/SP. Nela, a pesquisadora atua como PAP (Coordenadora Pedagógica). Os sujeitos pesquisados são os professores sob a sua coordenação em atividades formativas, e demais membros da equipe gestora: Diretora, Vice-diretora, Assistente de direção, Professora de Apoio aos Programas Educacionais, Professora de Apoio à Biblioteca Escolar Interativa e Orientadora Pedagógica. A dissertação conclui que é possível realizar uma formação continuada a serviço da qualidade. Mostra as dificuldades que despontaram nesse processo em busca de um trabalho sistematizado e intencional, bem como os fatores e ações que favoreceram ou complicaram o processo formativo do grupo de professores no local de trabalho. Apresenta as propostas didáticas realizadas, a avaliação e a sua repercussão na transformação do cenário pedagógico e prático do professor

O Objeto de Estudo dessa Dissertação é a Faculdade Nossa Cidade - FNC. IES situada no município de Carapicuíba, SP. O Objetivo Geral da Dissertação foi o de descrever em profundidade o diagnóstico situacional da FNC em dois períodos distintos no tempo, quanto aos esforços de comunicação para a divulgação do processo seletivo 2012 e 2013. Como Objetivos Específicos, a Dissertação buscou analisar de maneira sistemática os dados coletados, avaliar o retorno dos investimentos em comunicação da IES e propor orientações para o desenvolvimento da Campanha de Comunicação Mercadológica da FNC para a venda dos cursos oferecidos. Foram utilizados como Procedimentos Metodológicos a Pesquisa Exploratória com a utilização de Estudo de Caso, dividido em duas Fases, a saber: Fase 1- Delimitação das teorias que sustentam o arcabouço teórico sobre Educação Superior no Brasil e a atual educação superior como \"negócio rentável\", além da delimitação teórica sobre Gestão Mercadológica para empresas de Serviços, Retorno de Investimentos em Comunicação, e Planejamento de Comunicação. Fase 2 - Pesquisas Primárias (entrevistas com o corpo diretivo da IES, com os docentes e com os discentes ingressantes e concluintes), e Pesquisas Secundárias - análise dos registros das campanhas do processo seletivo 2012 e 2013, e a análise dos resultados do Relatório da Comissão Própria de Avaliação (CPA - 2014). De acordo com o diagnóstico apresentado a FNC apresenta significativos pontos fortes institucionais, pedagógicos, financeiros, de marketing e de gestão e organização. Os pontos a melhorar são de conhecimento da alta direção e têm recebido atenção por parte da direção pedagógica, que responde pela IES junto ao MEC. O enquadramento e classificação dos cursos oferecidos pela FNC na Matriz BCG foram confirmados pelo cálculo do MCP de cada um dos cursos na avaliação do período 2012-2014. Para a análise GE, após a realização dos cálculos de notas ponderadas para a atratividade de mercado e para o posicionamento do negócio em seu mercado, a FNC foi enquadrada como um negócio de alta atratividade de mercado e alto posicionamento do negócio em seu mercado. O diagnóstico demonstrou, ainda, que a FNC realiza ações para o atendimento dos 14 objetivos da comunicação e essas ações são reconhecidas pela comunidade acadêmica. A análise do retorno de investimento em comunicação indicou que a FNC apresenta viabilidade econômica, financeira e patrimonial sólidas. Como orientações ao Planejamento da Comunicação o texto indica que a FNC precisa administrar de maneira consciente suas promessas de serviço; deve manter canal aberto de informações junto aos candidatos à matrícula na IES e, sobretudo, junto ao corpo docente e corpo discente da Faculdade; deve também educar seus diferentes públicos, sobretudo os alunos, uma vez que sua entrega de serviços é de característica de alta participação do cliente em todo o processo e deve, ainda, cuidar com muita atenção da comunicação interna junto aos funcionários técnico-administrativos e docentes. Tudo isso pode ajudar o processo de comunicação a fim de evitar que se gere insatisfação por parte do cliente.
The study object of this thesis is the Faculdade Nossa Cidade - FNC. IES in the municipality of Carapicuiba, SP. The Dissertation of the General Purpose was to describe in depth the situational diagnosis of FNC in two different periods in time, as the communication efforts for the dissemination of the Selection Process in 2012 and 2013. As specific objectives, the dissertation aimed to analyze systematically the data collected, evaluate the return on investments in communication IES and propose guidelines for the development of the FNC Communication Campaign for the sale of courses offered. They were used as Methodological Procedures exploratory research with the use of case study, divided into two phases, namely: Phase 1 - Delimitation of theories that support the theoretical framework on Higher Education in Brazil and the current higher education as a \"profitable business\" in addition to the theoretical definition of marketing management for service companies, Investment Return on Communication and Marketing Communication Planning. Stage 2 - Primary Research (interviews with the governing body of IES, with teachers and with students entering and graduating), and Research Secondary - analysis of records of the campaigns of the Selection Process in 2012 and 2013 and the analysis of the results of the Report Committee for Assessment (CPA - 2014). According to the diagnosis introduced to FNC presents significant institutional, pedagogical, financial strengths, marketing, and management and organization. The areas for improvement are the knowledge of senior management and have received attention from the pedagogical direction, which responds by IES with the MEC. The framework and classification of courses offered by the FNC in the BCG Analysis were confirmed by MCP calculation of each of the courses in the evaluation period 2012- 2014. For GE Analysis, after the purposes of the calculation of weighted grades for market attractiveness and the business positioning in its market, FNC was framed as a highly attractive market business and high positioning of the business in your market. The diagnosis has also shown that the FNC takes action to meet the 14 Objectives of Communication and these actions are recognized by the academic community. Analysis of the communication payback indicated that the FNC has economic feasibility, financial and solid equity. As guidelines to Communication Planning for FNC must manage consciously their service promises; it must maintain an open channel of information from the candidates for enrollment in IES and especially with the faculty and student body of the Faculty; It must also educate its stakeholders, particularly students, since its delivery of services is of high share of customer feature throughout the process and must also take care carefully of internal communication with the technical and administrative staff and teachers. All this can help the communication process in order to avoid that generate dissatisfaction by the customer.

RESUMO: São diversos os programas e tipos de organização de serviço que podem ser encontrados no contexto da Psiquiatria de Ligação (PL) por todo o mundo. Na Dinamarca, a relação entre a psiquiatria e as outras especialidades está organizada de diferentes maneiras a nível nacional. Em Aarhus, estão disponíveis duas vezes por semana a consulta programada para os pacientes admitidos no hospital geral e esta consultas são fornecidos por 2 psiquiatras consultores que trabalham a tempo inteiro na urgência de psiquiatria. A urgência de psiquiatria faz parte do Departamento P - Departamento das Psicoses do Hospital Universitário Aarhus e fornece serviços não só para as referências externas agudas dos médicos de clínica geral, mas também para referências agudas de outras especialidades. Além disso, há uma Clínica de Investigação de Doenças Funcionais integrada no Departamento de Clínica Médica da Universidade de Aarhus, mas atualmente não há nenhum tipo de colaboração formal entre este Departamento de Investigação e os serviços de PL prestados pelos médicos de emergência. Esta dissertação tem como objetivo apresentar uma revisão da literatura sobre os diferentes modelos de serviços de PL existentes, seguido da descrição do contexto histórico, bem como os pontos fortes e fracos dos serviços de PL existentes em Aarhus. Além disso, o autor irá identificar as necessidades de serviço, as barreiras e os fatores facilitadores para uma eventual reorganização e, finalmente, propor uma solução nova, mais eficiente e integrada de serviços de PL em Aarhus.---------------------------------------- ABSTRACT: Several programs and services' organizations are to be found in the context of Consultation-Liaison (C-L) psychiatry around the world. In Denmark, the links between psychiatry and the other specialities are organized in different ways. In Aarhus, elective C-L services are available twice a week to patients admitted to the general hospital and these consultations are provided by 2 consultant psychiatrists who work daily in the emergency psychiatric department. This department is a part of Department P - Department for Psychosis of Aarhus University Hospital and it provides services not only to the acute external referrals from the general practitioners but also to acute referrals from other specialities. Moreover, there is a research Clinic for Functional Diseases under the Department for Clinical Medicine of Aarhus University but presently there is no formal collaboration between this research department and the C-L services provided by the emergency doctors. This dissertation aims to present a literature review about the different models of C-L services followed by the description of the historical background as well as by the highlighting of the strengths and weaknesses of the existing C-L services in Aarhus. Moreover, the author will identify the service needs, the barriers and facilitating factors to an eventual reorganization and finally propose a new, more efficient and integrated solution for C-L services in Aarhus.

Com o objetivo de estudar o conceito de Servitization, foi realizada uma investigação por forma a perceber como é que uma empresa de produção de bens alimentares pode utilizar o Serviço como elemento de mudança e como a empresa em estudo disponibiliza aquilo que o cliente valoriza no uso. A tese aborda a forma como a empresa Progelcone estabelece o serviço e como é que os clientes usam o serviço disponibilizado pela mesma, isto é, tentar perceber qual é o serviço que está associado ao fornecimento de bens pela empresa. Procurou-se ainda averiguar como é que a empresa identifica as necessidades do cliente e a partir daí, como é construída a proposta de valor para o cliente, como são realizadas as primeiras operações entre o cliente e a empresa, como é que a empresa envolve o cliente em todo o processo e ainda como é criada a base de confiança entre os dois intervenientes do processo (cliente e fornecedor). Para isto, foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas e não-estruturadas. O resultado dessas entrevistas deu resposta à questão principal da investigação. Os resultados do estudo permitem concluir que a forma como a Progelcone estabelece o serviço está relacionado com a perceção que a empresa tem do que é para o cliente o valor no uso das suas propostas e que posteriormente é traduzido para componentes de serviço disponibilizado.
In order to studying the concept of Servitization, an investigation was conducted in order to understand how a company's food production can use the service as an element of change and how the company under study provides what the customer values in use. The thesis discusses how the company establishes Progelcone the service and how customers use the service provided by the same, ie, trying to understand what is the service that is associated with the supply of goods by the company. We also sought to ascertain how the company identifies customer needs and from there, as it is built the value proposition for the customer, as the first operations are conducted between the customer and the company, how the company involves the client throughout the process and also as created the basis of trust between the two parties of the process (customer and supplier). For this, we conducted interviews semi-structured and unstructured. The result of these interviews gave answer to the main question of research. The study results showed that the way Progelcone establishes the service is related to the perception that the company has what is the value for the customer in the use of their proposals and which is subsequently translated into service components available.

Abstract:
This study was undertaken to analyze the opinions of elementary school teachers in Korea about actual and desired levels of computer education and the sources of computer anxiety, with the object of developing guidelines for a teacher training program. A survey instrument was developed and tested to provide basic sample demographic data, tabulation of opinions on computer competencies, as well as an analysis of three variables of anxiety: 1) use of computers as educational tools, 2) lack of personal ability, and 3) lack of computer knowledge. The instrument was administered to a sample composed of 421 teachers, parents, or computer experts, and three analyses of variance procedures were performed to analyze the sources of computer anxiety. Analysis of the data revealed the following: 1) most of the teachers sampled had little experience with computers or computer applications; 2) older teachers or those with little experience reflected the highest degrees of computer anxiety; 3) training programs should focus on computers as instructional tools; 4) computer language training should be addressed on a broad level; 5) development of a broadly focused training program, ranging from basic instruction in computer capabilities to advanced programming skills; and 6) there is a need for support and commitment to computer education by educational administrators. A model for the development of guidelines for computer training programs was proposed, based upon the assumption that computer literacy cannot be equated with computer science. Based upon objectives derived from an analysis of the nature of Korean society, learners, and the state of their knowledge, the following program goals were suggested: 1) instructors should be made aware of computer capabilities and limitations; 2) classify the scope and sequence of programs to reduce computer anxiety in accordance with existing skill levels and levels of needs among teachers; 3) encourage a teacher-centered approach based upon voluntary participation; 4) select knowledgeable training personnel with communicative skills; 5) encourage small group training to enable collaborative learning; 6) extensive use of hands-on methods, with adequate hardware and software resources; 7) training periods of a length to assure provision of practical classroom skills; 8) provision of incentives; 10) focus upon the integration of computers into the instructional process.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) unceasingly urge the U.S. government to promulgate stricter anti-piracy legislation to combat the worse situation of piracy on the Internet. Under the pressure of related interest groups, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) proposed by the congress in 2011 attempt to coerce the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to be the anti-piracy initiators. It is much easier to control the ISPs rather than the general public on the Internet; therefore, the new draft bills place the heavier burden of online supervision on the ISPs. However, many people criticize that it is unreasonable for ISPs to bear such burdens and costs to oversee the piracy activities. This paper attempts to analyze the U.S. copyright legislation against the online piracy and to explore the changing roles of ISPs in this decade. Besides, this paper also discusses Taiwan’s law who influence of U.S. copyright legislation. Thus, this paper will suggest the Taiwan’s competent authority to take cautious steps responding the move of possible legislation in the future.

Since 1982, the elderly population of Taiwan has accounted more than 7% of the total population and has started to move in an aging society. Impact of decreasing birthrate, at the end of February 2017, the registered elderly population (over 65 years old) are more than the younger population (0-14 years old). According to the survey, about 70% of the elderly want to live with their children or spouses. But the family structure is slowly changing, and the care of the elderly people at home are going to be challenging. With the development of information and communications technology (ICT), several healthcare care systems and tools can be employed for the care of the elderly people at home. For example, Internet of things (IoT) such as wearable devices or sensors can be applied to sense basic physiological signals and upload these directly to the cloud platform. When there is an emergency situation, it can send out warning signals to the family to warn about the physiological condition. It can also be connected with the hospital or the care organization, which allows physicians and caregivers to monitor instantly and provide better care employing the remote care system. There are four purposes of the current study. First, explore the common needs required for elderly care. Understand the different needs of healthcare, psychological adjustment, economy, life care, and housing. Then a detailed discussion on health care and life care was employed. Second, explore the development of the IoT, including its operational model and basic structure. Third, understand the application of the IoT in medical care and explore how IoT can be applied in fields such as medical care or hospitals, and how it can be employed to improve the quality of medical care. The last item is to propose a comprehensive medical network for the elderly care service model. Integrate the care needs of the elderly at home, and connect the various services through the technology of the IoT to provide comprehensive care services for the elderly people.   The literature review from 2010 to 2017 was employed to collect data. We include doctoral thesis, government research projects, publication of foreign journals and academic papers published in seminars are included for current study. A total of 199 published academic papers on the elderly care population related with IoT were finally included for the current study. All these studies are classified into six categories: health monitoring, using drugs, environmental safety, activities and sports, location monitoring and help, and rehabilitation. Discuss the several contents to understand how the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) can solve the needs of elderly care. At the end of the study, a medical network structure was proposed for the home care service model of the elderly population. First, wearable devices and sensors are placed on the user to monitor their physical condition. Sensors and monitors are also built in a way which can work in the homely environment. Then, upload the relevant data to the cloud for storage and analysis. Finally, it is used to provide services such as health management, disease monitoring, diet, exercise, and rehabilitation to meet several medical care and daily needs. It can be used to provide preventive care and prevent disability or help to detect the disease in early stage and provide corresponding medical care services. It can be employed as self-health care management for healthy elderly people. Elderly people suffering from chronic diseases and have long-term care for disability can use it to monitor their physical condition instantly. However, it can be employed to reduce the burden on home caregivers, indirectly reduce the medical care costs, and improve the quality of care. The limitation of this study is that the data was collected only from published academic articles. Thus, there are lacks the opinions of experts. Therefore, future research should use questionnaires, interviews, and the opinions of relevant personnel to make the study findings more comprehensive. In addition, the service model proposed in this study is only a concept and has not been actually implemented. In the future research, it is expected to develop a system that can be used in practice, and discuss the system functions in the more precise way. Finally, security protection and transmission of users’ information are reinforced to protect the privacy of users.

No quadro da geração de melhorias, enquanto objecto do processo de reforma de qualquer administração pública (Pollitt e Bouckaert, 2004; Mozzicafreddo e Gouveia, 2011), tomamos como objectivo do presente Trabalho de Projecto a melhoria da qualidade do serviço prestado pelo Consulado Geral de Moçambique em Lisboa. Tendo em conta que, o uso estratégico das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs), em particular a internet, generalizou-se pelos diferentes programas governamentais (Fonseca e Carapeto, 2009), sendo que, no caso particular de Moçambique é entendido como um importante vector para a concretização das principais orientações de reforma administrativa (CIRESP, 2001; CPinfo e CIRESP, 2005), a nossa proposta de melhoria passa pelo uso estratégico de uma página web. Deste modo, recorremos à administração de um questionário, basedo no modelo Common Measurmente Toll (Dinsdale et al., 2000), para diagnosticar as principais necessidades de melhoria no serviço Consular. Verificamos que os principais aspetos a serem melhorados relacionam-se com a capacidade de resposta (tempo de processamento do serviço e tempo de espera), assim como com questões relacionadas com a acessibilidade aos serviços (localização, acesso por telefone e variedade dos modos de acesso). De forma a melhorarmos os aspetos de serviço referidos, desenhamos uma lista de verificações com os atributos que uma página web governamental deve ter (Stowers, 2003), no sentido de se reduzirem os problemas de acessibilidade ao website e de localização de informação. Propomos também o uso de 5 aplicativos: ferramenta de agendamento on-line, formulários on-line, chat-online, fórum on-line e inquérito on-line, de forma a tornar o processo de prestação de serviço mais rápido e acessível para os utentes. Por fim, desenhamos um possível tema (layout) com base na lista de verificações já referida, de modo a servir de orientação para a construção da página web do Consulado de Lisboa.
Within the framework of creating improvements, as an object of reform in the public sector (Pollitt and Bouckaert, 2004; Mozzicafreddo and Gouveia, 2011), we defined the objective of the present project, which is to improve the quality of the services provided by the General Consulate of Mozambique in Lisbon. The strategic use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), in particular the internet, has been established by various governments worldwide (Fonseca and Carapeto, 2009). In the particular case of Mozambique, the egovernment is understood as an important vector to achieve the key guidelines of the administrative reform (CIRESP, 2001; Cpinfo and CIRESP, 2005). In this context, this project involves the strategic use of a website. We applied a questionnaire, designed according to the model Common Measurement Tool (Dinsdale et al., 2000), to investigate the Consular Service’s needs for improvement. We identified that the main aspects to be improved are related to responsiveness (processing and waiting time), as well as accessibility to the services (location, access by phone and the variety of access options). In order to improve services provision by the Mozambican Consulate in Portugal, we have produced a checklist of key attributes needed to tackle accessibility and tracking issues in the website (Stowers, 2003). We also recommend the use of 5 online applications: e-scheduling tool, e-forms, e-chat, e-forum and e-survey. These will easy the consular services by making them faster and more accessible to the citizens and clients. Finally, we have designed the layout to the website.

Newly-developed telecommunication technology brings about plurality, complexity and convenience in providing audiovisual services, making audiovisual sector one of most heavily influenced sectors in WTO by digital convergence. Thus, how WTO regulations apply to this sector remains to be clarified. Moreover, digital convergence exemplifies the conflict between cultural values and trade interest. An immediate solution is indeed in need. This thesis aims at seeking the solution by following steps. It begins with the definition of audiovisual services and its relation with culture. Then, it introduces the concept of digital convergence, explores its impact on audiovisual services, specifies the problems and indicates how to deal with those problems in principle. In order to clarify the scope of audiovisual commitments, it tries to answer “who” should be regulated, “what” regulations should be applied, and “how” they should be applied. Nevertheless, those regulations should ensure Members’ right to adopt measures for cultural protection while requires appropriate standards of review to prevent from abuse. Finally, a proposed approach of reformation is provided.
