Abstract:

Perlo is a winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell.) with breadmaking quality, high grain yield, and adequate lodging resistance. It is moderately resistant to powdery mildew (caused by Erysiphe graminis Merat D.C. ex f. sp. tritici Marchal) and septoria leaf and glume blotch (caused by Septoria nodorum Berk.). Abstract:

The third record of the sharpnose seven-gill shark Heptranchias perlo (Selachii: Hexanchidae) north of the Bay of Biscay is reported. The 101 cm total length specimen, which was taken incidentally on a commercial bottom-set longline at a depth of 166 m, was an immature female. Beaks belonging to the short-finned squid Illex coindetii (Cephalopoda: Ommastrephidae) were recovered from the stomach, and an unidentified species of nematode was found parasitizing the stomach mucosa.

Abstract:

We present information about new records of 11 species of chondrichthyans in the southern Gulf of Mexico, adding information about new specimens and occurrence of the species in Mexican waters. The second record of the Bathytoshia centroura, Mustelus sinusmexicanus, Mobula hypostoma and Squalus clarkae species for Mexico is presented, as well as new records in marine areas and the Lagoon Alvarado system corresponding to Hexanchus vitulus, Heptranchrias perlo, Scyliorhinus retifer and Squalus cubensis. In this paper increase the number of records for species of elasmobranchs to the southwestern region of the Gulf of Mexico, increase the distribution range and knowledge about the chondrichthyofauna of Mexico.

Abstract:

Cartilaginous fish are commonly recognized as key species in marine ecosystems for their fundamental ecological role as top predators. Nevertheless, effective management plans for cartilaginous fish are still missing, due to the lack of knowledge on their abundance, distribution or even life-history. In this regard, this paper aims at providing new information on the life-history traits, such as age, maturity, reproductive period, in addition to diet characteristics of eleven rare cartilaginous fish inhabiting the Central-Western Mediterranean Sea belonging to the orders Chimaeriformes (Chimaera monstrosa), Hexanchiformes (Heptranchias perlo and Hexanchus griseus), Myliobatiformes (Aetomylaeus bovinus and Myliobatis aquila), Rajiformes (Dipturus nidarosiensis and Leucoraja circularis), Squaliformes (Centrophorus uyato, Dalatias licha and Oxynotus centrina) and Torpediniformes (Tetronarce nobiliana), useful for their assessment and for future management actions. Particularly, the present paper provides for the first time the age estimation of D. nidarosienis and L. circularis which were both found capable of becoming older than ten years. In addition, the present study updates the sizes of first maturity of C. uyato and D. licha, which appeared to be capable of reproducing earlier than what was previously hypothesized, representing very valuable information for a better understanding of these rare species populations status and, eventually, their conservation. On the basis of the stomach content analysis, it was possible to identify five different predator groups.

Abstract:

El perro sin pelo del Perú ha sido declarado patrimonio cultural de la nación mediante Ley Nº 27537 del 3 de octubre del 2001, y asimismo, por Resolución Directoral de la Nación Nº 001-2001/INC (04- 01-2000), el Instituto Nacional de Cultura ha dispuesto su protección en todos los sitios arqueológicos de la costa.El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en la ciudad de Lima, durante el período que va de octubre del 2003 a febrero del 2004. Para el efecto se procedió a observar la cavidad bucal de este animal para determinar la ausencia de dientes y a registrar los datos en un odontograma. Como muestra fueron tomados todos los perros sin pelo del Perú mayores de un año inscritos en la ciudad de Lima, que se contaron en número de 50. Los perros fueron clasificados por sexo (19 machos y 31 hembras) y por talla: pequeños (4 ejemplares), medianos (6 ejemplares) y grandes (30 ejemplares), y se les asignó un código numérico. El análisis de los datos de los datos se realizó utilizando la estadística descriptiva, analizando el número y porcentaje de dientes ausentes. Del total de perros de la muestra, se encontró que todos presentaban ausencia de dientes, hallándose como máximo 30 dientes ausentes, y como mínimo, 4 dientes ausentes. El diente más comprometido en el maxilar fue el tercer premolar derecho, ausente en 38 ejemplares. En la mandíbula, el tercer premolar izquierdo fue el más ausente, determinándose su ausencia en 42 perros. En promedio, los machos carecían de 20 dientes, y las hembras, de 17. La ausencia de dientes no depende de la talla, ni tampoco de la edad.De los 50 ejemplares tomados como muestra, se observó que 15 de ellos presentaban una persistencia de los caninos de leche. El único caso de simetría bilateral es el del primer premolar de la mandíbula, el cual siempre estuvo presente, en tanto que los demás dientes siempre estuvieron ausentes en uno u otro caso.Palabras clave: perro sin pelo del Perú, diente, ausencia.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.21503/CienciayDesarrollo.2007.v8.02

Abstract:

El objetivo del estudio fue caracterizar el semen del Perro sin Pelo del Perú. Quince machos, de edades entre 1 a 5 años, inscritos en el Kennel Club Peruano fueron utilizados para colectar semen (un eyaculado por macho) mediante manipulación digital. Se realizó un espermatograma básico y se registraron características macroscópicas (volumen y color) y microscópicas (motilidad y concentración espermática, utilizando microscopía de campo claro). Adicionalmente, se realizaron pruebas de función espermática: viabilidad espermática (utilizando SYBR-14 y ioduro de propidio), potencial de membrana mitocondrial (PMM; utilizando MitoTraker Deep Red FM), e integridad acrosomal (utilizando FITC-PSA y ioduro de propidio), analizadas posteriormente mediante citometría de flujo con análisis de imágenes. Se encontraron los siguientes valores (medias ± IC 95%): 6.1 ± 2.7 ml de volumen, color blanquecino; 66.7 ± 10.5% de motilidad; 262.7 ± 20.4 x 106 espermatozoides/ml de concentración espermática; 77.7 ± 9.7% de viabilidad espermática; 85.9 ± 5.1% de alto PMM; 83.6 ± 14.9% de integridad acrosomal. Estos resultados representan el primer reporte sobre las características seminales de esta raza y podrían ser tomados como valores de referencia para una mejor selección de machos reproductores y para el diagnóstico de alteraciones reproductivas de la raza.

Abstract:

Objetivo: Determinar los valores del hemograma y bioquímicos séricos para la raza Perro Sin Pelo del Perú (PSPP). Métodos: Se tomó muestras sanguíneas a 91 animales PSPP, luego del análisis en el laboratorio, se obtuvo los valores de hemograma, hematocrito, hemoglobina, y bioquímica sanguínea. También, se recogió información del sexo, tamaño y tipo de alimentación de cada animal. Resultados: La información se resumió mediante estadística descriptiva y las diferencias según sexo, tamaño y tipo de alimentación fueron evaluadas mediante la prueba de t de Student y análisis de varianza. Los resultados muestran que el promedio y rangos de los valores eritrocitarios y leucocitarios estuvieron dentro de rango referencial para la especie; el promedio y rangos de los valores bioquímicos séricos mostraron incremento para los resultados urea y ALT, y resultados por debajo del rango para creatinina y proteínas totales y fraccionadas en comparación con el referencial para la especie; valores elevados de urea y ALT, pero dentro del rango normal, se observó en ejemplares que consumían alimentación mixta. Además Se determinó diferencias significativas para hemoglobina, eritrocitos, segmentados, urea y globulinas en referencia a la variables sexo; asimismo, se encontró diferencias estadísticas para hematocrito, linfocitos, urea, albúmina y globulinas cuando se contrasto con la variable tamaño; y con volumen globular medio (VGM), segmentados, monocitos, urea y proteínas totales cuando se contrastó con la variable alimentación. Los valores encontrados en el presente estudio pueden ser considerados como referencia para la raza PSPP.

Abstract:

Hiu merupakan sumber daya perikanan sangat rentan terhadap usaha penangkapan yang berlebihan (over-eksploitasi). Eksploitasi hiu di Indonesia masih berlanjut hingga hari ini tanpa diimbangi dengan tata kelola dan manajemen yang mengarah pada perikanan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemanfaatan hiu dan mengidentifikasi jenis hiu yang didaratkan di PPS Cilacap berdasarkan status konservasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei 2015 di PPS Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif survey. Tingkat pemanfaatan dihitung dengan cara menghitung jumlah hasil tangkapan pada tahun tertentu terhadap nilai TAC (Total Allowable Catch) atau jumlah tangkapan yang diperbolehkan. Jumlah tangkapan yang diperbolehkan (JTB) tersebut adalah 80% dari potensi maksimum lestari (MSY). Pendugaan nilai MSY dianalisis menggunakan model surplus produksi Fox. Status konservasi hiu dianalisis berdasarkan hasil tangkapan hiu yang didaratkan di PPS Cilacap dibandingkan dengan daftar kategori konservasi International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hiu tertangkap dan didaratkan di PPS Cilacap pada bulan Februari-Mei 2015 terdiri dari 11 famili atau 30 spesies. Hasil tangkapan terdiri dari famili Alopiidae, Carcharhinidae, Squalidae, Hexanchidae, Lamnidae, Triakidae, Sphyrnidae, Squatinidae, Rhinidae, Centrophoridae, dan Chimaeridae. Hasil tangkapan tertinggi berasal dari famili Alopiidae (2.028 hiu) dan hasil tangkapan terendah berasal dari famili Chimaeridae (2 hiu). Tingkat pemanfaatan hiu yang didaratkan di PPS Cilacap pada tahun 2010-2014 berdasarkan model surplus produksi Fox adalah 24-81%. Sebagian besar dari jumlah tangkapan hiu mendarat di PPS Cilacap pada bulan Februari-Mei 2015 yang mencakup dalam kategori dari rentan (46,44%) dan hampir terancam (39,65%). Jenis hiu yang didaratkan di PPS Cilacap termasuk dalam kategori rawan adalah A. pelagicus, A. superciliosus, I. paucus, C. plumbeus, R. ancylostoma, I. oxyrinchus, N. acutidens, C. squamosus, C. longimanus, sedangkan jenis hiu yang termasuk dalam kategori hampir terancam adalah C. sorrah, C. falciformis, H. perlo, P. glauca, C. brevivina, C. amblyrhynchoides, G. cuvieri, C. leucas, H. griceus, C. albimarginatus.

Abstract:

La raza Perro Sin Pelo del Perú (PSPP) fue registrada en 1981 en la Federación Cinológica Internacional y es Patrimonio Nacional del país. La raza tiene definido tres tamaños: grande, mediano y pequeño. Se han publicado valores ecocardiográficos de referencia para la población canina en general; sin embargo, el valor clínico es relativo al considerar la variación existente entre las razas y sus categorías. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar los valores ecocardiográficos normales del PSPP según edad, peso y sexo. La muestra fue de 10 machos y 20 hembras; comprendiendo 17 adultos jóvenes, 9 adultos medios y 4 adultos avanzados, y por peso corporal en 15 canes ≥8 - ≤10 kg y 15 canes >10 - ≤12 kg. Se evaluaron 10 parámetros ecocardiográficos, los cuales no presentaron diferencias significativas por grupo etario. La variable peso mostró diferencias significativas para los valores DVID (diámetro ventricular izquierdo en diástole), DPVIS (diámetro del septo interventricular en sístole), DPVID (diámetro de la pared ventricular izquierda en diástole), DSVID (diámetro del septo interventricular en diástole) y DVDS (diámetro ventricular derecho en sístole), siendo mayor en el grupo más pesado (10-12 kg), en tanto que, la variable sexo mostró diferencias significativas para AI (diámetro del atrio izquierdo) y AI/AO (relación entre AI y el diámetro de la aorta), siendo mayor en los machos. Todos los valores ecocardiográficos para las tres variables estudiadas se encontraron dentro del rango esperado para la especie.

Abstract:

In recent years, new findings and new methods (stable isotopes of oxygen, zinc, and nitrogen; 2D and 3D modeling; and geometric morphometric analyses of the teeth) have enhanced our knowledge of the Neogene shark fauna and its paleobiology. Several papers deal with the large Otodus (Megaselachus) species, including the construction of a 3D model, as well as insights into its lifestyle and diet. In addition, the skeletal remains of Carcharias gustrowensis, Carcharodon hastalis, and Keasius parvus and a natural tooth set of Carcharodon hubbelli have been described in the last 13 years, and the dentition of the Neogene species Carcharoides catticus, Megachasma applegatei, and Parotodus benedenii has been reconstructed. Stable isotope analyses of the teeth from the Neogene species of Araloselachus, Carcharias, Carcharodon, Galeocerdo, Hemipristris, and Mitsukurina have given insights into the trophic positions of these genera during the Neogene, and shark teeth preserved near the skeletal remains of prey animals (mammals) and shark bite traces on these remains provide direct evidence of trophic interactions. The tooth shape, fossil locality, and paleoenvironment have been used to better understand the taxa Carcharhinus dicelmai, Megalolamna paradoxodon, Pachyscyllium dachiardii, and P. distans. Among extant species, Galeorhinus galeus can be traced back to the Eocene. Alopias superciliosus, Rhincodon typus, and possibly A. vulpinus can be traced back to the Oligocene. Species present by the Miocene include Alopias vulpinus, Carcharhinus amblyrhynchoides, C. amblyrhynchos, C. albimarginatus, C. amboinensis, C. brachyurus, C. brevipinna, C. falciformis, C. glaucus, C. leucas, C. limbatus, C. longimanus, C. macloti, C. obscurus, C. perezi, C. sealei, Centrophorus granulosus, Cetorhinus maximus, Dalatias licha, Deania calcea, Galeocerdo cuvier, Glyphis glyphis, Heptranchias perlo, Isurus paucus, Lamna nasus, Negaprion brevirostris, Odontaspis ferox, Pseudocarcharias kamoharai, Sphyrna media, S. mokarran, and possibly Carcharodon carcharias. First appearing in the Pliocene are Scymnodon ringens, Somniosus rostratus, and Zameus squamulosus. For some extant species (Carcharias taurus, Hexanchus griseus, Isurus oxyrinchus, Notorynchus cepedianus, and Sphyrna zygaena), it is not clear whether the assigned Neogene teeth represent the same species. The application of new methods to more fossil shark taxa, a detailed search for shark fossils, and better knowledge of the dentition of extant species (especially those with minute-sized teeth) will further enhance our knowledge of the evolution and paleobiology of sharks.

A busca pela estética nas clinicas odontológicas tornou-se algo rotineiro, e o sonho do paciente em alcançar o sorriso perfeito, aumentam as necessidades e expectativas que se tornam cada vez maiores nos procedimentos. A odontologia estética enfatiza o equilíbrio entre a estética branca e a estética rosa, importante para a obtenção de excelentes resultados no tratamento reabilitador e harmónico. Objetivo: Demonstrar através de um caso clínico o resultado da associação de gengivoplastia, clareamento dentário e utilização de resina composta direta para restabelecer a harmonia gengival e dental do paciente. Método: Trata-se de mostrar opções de tratamento para o paciente que compareceu a clinica escola da UNIT visando a importância da execução, planejamento e com isso resultando na satisfação do paciente. J.A.C, 25 anos, gênero masculino, feloderma, não fumante e sem alterações sistêmicas compareceu a clinica odontológica da UNIT com queixa principal de coroas clinicas de tamanho reduzido e insatisfação estética quanto a coloração dentaria. A resolução estética desse caso envolveu cirurgia periodontal, associada ao clareamento dentário e a utilização de material restaurador adesivo. Resultado e Conclusão: Enfatiza-se assim a importância da execução e do planejamento de um tratamento odontológico proposto que possibilitou a harmonização estética do sorriso, resultando de grande impacto no aspecto psicológico, pessoal e social do paciente e na sociedade em qual este se insere.

Instadas pela conjuntura da pandemia da Covid-19 que assola o mundo, apresenta-se o presente artigo, que é fruto de pesquisa bibliográfica e reflexões realizadas no Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Identidade Metamorfose (NEPIM) da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), nos momentos iniciais da doença, quando o surto adquiria importância, no Brasil, no idos de 2020. O trabalho foi construído sob a ótica da Psicologia Social e Psicopedagogia, bem como do Serviço Social e ao congregar diferentes áreas do saber, são preservadas as vertentes teórico-metodológicas que balizam as áreas de conhecimentos mencionadas. O objetivo, neste artigo, é problematizar o home office incorporado, de forma abrupta, à vida do conjunto da classe trabalhadora e fornecer pressupostos para o debate acerca do home office, na crise cíclica capitalista, que se agudiza com a pandemia. Como resultados, emergiu a perda dos direitos dos/as trabalhadores/as, na medida em que a prática invade o mundo privado, e a possibilidade de essas rupturas trazerem em seu bojo alternativas com sentido emancipatório, que antes não existiam.

Este trabalho procura analisar a relação entre catolicismo carismático e política nas eleições proporcionais de 2014. Seu foco são as candidaturas de Padre Afonso (PV) e Flavinho (PSB), que receberam apoio de setores da Renovação Carismática Católica e da Comunidade Canção Nova na região do Vale do Paraíba/SP/BRA. Apesar de terem recebido apoio religioso, o que este trabalho demonstra é que ao lado dos elementos da religião, essas candidaturas acionaram elementos da política. Na medida em que atuavam sobre esses dois elementos da vida social, essas candidaturas fabricavam-se num movimento multiposicional. Nesse sentido, tanto a ampliação da retórica eleitoral para além dos vínculos originais quanto a justificação dessa ampliação ganham importância. Assim, antes que uma metamorfose da religião em política ou da política em religião, o que se passa é uma tentativa de articulação entre ambas. Nessa articulação, as tensões emergem forçando ressignificações e rearranjos na maneira de conduzir a campanha política, levando os candidatos a movimentarem-se sobre um amplo campo de possibilidades.

Tendo em vista a influência que os mitos exercem na contemporaneidade, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar quatro poemas da autora norte-americana Louise Glück (2021) que retoma o mito de Perséfone, baseando-se na ideia contida em Hall (2016) sobre identidade e representação, também com as considerações de Freud (2012) sobre o incesto ocorrido entre tio e sobrinha. Para ancorar os argumentos, uma breve retomada da narrativa de Coré fez-se necessária para elucidar a reflexão aqui contida. Tornou-se possível concluir que o lirismo de Glück traça uma identidade vista no mundo contemporâneo, quando mulheres se veem na mesma situação que a personagem mitológica. Abstract:

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar os papéis do juntor pero em combinação com bueno, vamos e claro em um corpus do espanhol peninsular falado sob perspectiva funcionalista. O aparato teórico-metodológico utilizado é o da Gramática Discursivo-Funcional (Hengeveld; Mackenzie, 2008). Sob essa perspectiva, verificou-se que pero, ao acompanhar elementos como bueno, vamos, e claro, pode conferir sentido contrastivo e codificar a função retórica Concessão, quando atua como operador de Ato Discursivo, ou pode atuar exclusivamente no monitoramento da interação. Esses dois usos são codificados de forma diferente no Nível Fonológico, o que foi constatado por meio do programa Praat. Quando atua como operador de Ato, pero apresenta o padrão entonacionoal complexo descendente-ascendente; por outro lado, quando atua no monitoramento da interação, pero apresenta o padrão entonacional descendente. O universo de investigação é embasado no corpus PRESEEA (Proyecto para el Estudio Sociolingüístico del Español de España y de América), base de dados disponível online.

David Perlov y José Luis Guerin convergen en lo esencial al pensar el cine no en relación con lo industrial sino en relación con lo artesanal: el cine como un forma de escritura. Pero no es este el único punto de encuentro entre las obras cinematográficas de estos dos directores pudiendo advertirse entre ambas otros puntos de confluencia.
