Abstract:
Los avances en la tecnología del concreto conducen a la búsqueda de materiales alternativos que brinden mejoras en las propiedades del concreto y al mismo tiempo colaboren con reducir la contaminación del medio ambiente. En este artículo se revisará las investigaciones publicadas en revistas científicas indexadas en la base de datos Scopus y SciencieDirect, que tienen como objetivo estudiar el uso del caucho de neumáticos triturados para la producción de concretos en general. Se discutirá las metodologías y técnicas de trituración de las partículas de los neumáticos, así como también se destacará los avances realizados con la incorporación de material en el concreto, centrándose en las propiedades del concreto modificado con caucho de neumáticos. En conclusión, se discutirán las recomendaciones para las futuras investigaciones y la aplicación del caucho de neumático en el concreto.

Análisis de concretos con no conformidades: efectos de larga duración RESUMENEste artículo tiene como objetivo contribuir al análisis del concreto en casos de incumplimiento normativo, centrado en los efectos a largo plazo. Se llevó a cabo una encuesta entre los participantes en el análisis de no conformidades: evolución de la resistencia a la compresión, variabilidad de los resultados y criterios de aceptación. Complementariamente, se presenta un caso de estudio de un hormigón en incumplimiento utilizado en una estructura mixta (pilares metálicos rellenos) que mostró una resistencia a 28 días menor que la especificada. Teniendo en cuenta los efectos a largo plazo, se observó una ganancia de resistencia nominal por encima de los límites reglamentarios. Este análisis, junto con una revisión del proyecto y una inspección minuciosa puede ayudar en la toma de decisiones en casos de hormigón en incumplimiento.Palabras clave: incumplimiento; ganancia de resistencia; seguridad estructural. Analysis of non-conformity concrete: long time effectsABSTRACTThe paper aims to contribute to the analysis of non-conformity concrete, focusing on long time effects. A review of compressive strength evolution, results variability and acceptance criteria was made. In addition, it is presented a case study of a nonconforming concrete used in composite structures (concrete-filled steel columns) that present 28-day strength below the specified. Considering long time effects, a nominal strength gain above the limits considered in technical standards was observed. This analysis, associated with a revision of the structural design and a carefully assessment, could help decision taking in case of non-conformity concretes.Keywords: non-conforming; strength gain; structural safety. Análise de concretos com não conformidades: efeitos de longa duração RESUMOO presente artigo tem como objetivo contribuir para a análise de concretos com não conformidades, com foco nos efeitos de longa duração. Foi realizado um levantamento dos intervenientes na análise de não conformidades: evolução da resistência à compressão, a variabilidade dos resultados e critérios de aceitação do concreto. De forma complementar, é apresentado o estudo de caso de concretos não conformes empregados em estrutura mista (pilares metálicos preenchidos) que apresentaram resistências abaixo do especificado aos 28 dias. Considerando os efeitos de longa duração, um ganho de resistência nominal acima dos limites normativos foi observado. Esta análise, aliada a uma revisão do projeto e a uma inspeção criteriosa, pode auxiliar na tomada de decisão em casos de concretos não conformes.Palavras-chave: não conformidade; crescimento de resistência; segurança estrutural.

Este ensayo forma parte del intento, anunciado en otros trabajos, por acercar el pensamiento del absurdo y la rebelión del escritor argelino Albert Camus a la fenomenología husserliana. Como primer paso indispensable para conseguir dicho acercamiento, se lleva a cabo una revisión crítica de la descalificación que el mismo Camus hace de Husserl y de la fenomenología en su libro El mito de Sísifo. Además de cuestionar el sentido y los términos de la descalificación camusiana, y en particular la anacrónica acusación a Husserl de dar un “salto” a la Razón eterna, se pone de relieve cómo puede encontrarse en la fenomenología —que siempre fue fenomenología de la vida concreta— ese “gusto por lo concreto, el sentido de la condición humana”, que Camus echaba de menos en ella.This essay is part of the attempt, announced in other places, to bring the thought of the absurd and the rebellion of the Algerian writer Albert Camus closer to Husserlian phenomenology. As a first and unavoidable step to achieve this rapprochement, a critical review is made of the disqualification that Camus makes of Husserl and of phenomenology in his book The Myth of Sysiphus. Besides questioning the sense and the terms of Camus’ disqualification, and particularly his anachronistic accusation to Husserl of making a “leap” into eternal Reason, it is outlined how can be found in phenomenology —which always was a phenomenology of concrete life—the very “taste for the concrete, the sense of human condition”, that Camus missed in it.

The review briefly assesses the state of the literature on Latin American Geometric Abstractio and analyzes these two publications from 2011, which stand precisely for traditional approaches and new developments in the field.

Abstract:
The focus of this research study aims to reaffirm the contents of article 45 paragraph (5) of the ITE Law related to complain offenses which are considered confusing in providing clear definitions and obscurity of legal certainty which can hinder the law enforcement process for justice seekers if there is a dispute in cyberspace. This type of research is normative legal research, descriptive using deductive reasoning. From the results of the discussion, this study shows that the complaint offense listed in the ITE Law which is abstract in nature is blurred if the complaint does not have a more concrete explanation of the meaning of the complaint. So that the Judicial Review needs to review the contents of the article. Policy formulation UU ITE No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions which was last amended by Act No. 19 of 2016 specifically with the interaction of social change and changes in law today address alignments on the one hand in the interests of a group. Fokus dalam studi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegaskan kembali isi pasal 45 ayat (5) UU ITE terkait dengan delik aduan yang dirasa membingungkan dalam memberikan definisi yang jelas serta terkaburnya sebuah kepastian hukum yang dapat menghambat proses penegakkan keadilan hokum bagi pencari keadilan apabila ada sengketa di ruang cyber space. Tipe Penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif, deskriptif dengan mengunakan penalaran deduktif. Dari hasil pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa delik aduan yang tercantum dalam UU ITE yang bersifat abstrak menjadi kabur apabila delik aduan ini tidak mempunyai penjelasan yang lebih konkrit dari arti delik aduan tersebut. Sehingga dirasa perlu Judicial Review mengkaji lagi muatan pasal tersebut. Formulasi kebijakan UU ITE No. 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik yang terakhir diubah dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 khususnya dengan interaksi perubahan sosial dan perubahan hukum dewasa ini menujukan keberpihakan pada satu sisi dalam kepentingan suatu golongan.

Abstract:
Cement production impacts the environment from raw materials extraction to its industrialized production. Implementing supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) to replace cement is an economical and sustainable practice. Agricultural wastes, for example, represent a new source of SCM studied over the last decades, mainly due to its high generation around the world. Among the published review papers about agro-waste in civil construction, bamboo ashes (BA) appear secondary in large-scale studies. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate BA potential use in the construction industry as cement replacement by identifying their behavior in cementitious compounds and discovering the research gaps about this topic. We overviewed the published literature about concrete made with BA, synthesizing data about BA chemical composition and mechanical and physical characteristics of cementitious materials made with these ashes. We identified a preference for bamboo leaves ashes as SCM, potentially due to its high silica amount. However, other biological and environmental parameters that alter the bamboo chemical composition were not discussed in the papers. Concerning compressive strength, 90% of the studies with BA reported cementitious materials with a strength activity index acceptable for use. This review also identified an optimal percentage of cement replacement with BA ranging from 8% to 12% in concrete specimens. Concrete and mortar with BA also showed a lower density than the reference samples made only with cement. We concluded that BA are promising alternatives to replace cement since they provide desirable mechanical and physical characteristics to concrete and meet sustainability requirements. Besides that, we raised some topics that may guide future researches: (1) the natural and artificial parameters that affect BA composition; (2) BA chemical and physical behavior under microscopical conditions in cementitious composites; and (3) the economic advantages associated with replacing cement with BA. Cinzas de bambu como alternativa eco-amigável ao cimento - uma revisão sistemática Resumo A produção de cimento impacta o meio ambiente desde a extração de matérias-primas até sua produção industrializada, o que reforça a demanda por materiais cimentícios suplementares (MCS) para substituir, mesmo que parcialmente, o uso do cimento. Os resíduos agrícolas, por exemplo, são um bom exemplo de MCS estudado nas últimas décadas, principalmente devido à sua alta geração em todo o mundo. Dentre os artigos de revisão publicados sobre o uso de resíduos agrícolas na construção civil, as cinzas de bambu figuram apenas como subtópico em estudos maiores. Logo, esse trabalho objetivou avaliar o potencial do uso de cinzas de bambu na indústria da construção civil como substituinte parcial ao cimento identificando seu comportamento em compostos cimentícios e sugerindo temas para pesquisas futuras. Esta revisão sistemática fornece uma visão geral da literatura publicada sobre argamassas e concretos feito com cinzas de bambu, sintetizando dados sobre a composição química dessas cinzas e as características mecânicas e físicas dos materiais cimentícios feitos com elas. Identificou-se uma preferência pelo uso de cinzas de bambu advindas da calcinação das folhas dessa planta, potencialmente devido ao seu alto teor de sílica. No entanto, existem parâmetros biológicos e ambientais que alteram a composição química do bambu e que não são discutidos pelos artigos. Quanto à resistência, 90% dos estudos que empregaram cinzas de bambu reportaram à resistência compressão admissível para uso em construções. Levantou-se, também, que a porcentagem ideal de substituição de cimento por cinzas de bambu varia de 8% a 12% em amostras de concreto. Os materiais cimentícios com cinzas de bambu também apresentaram densidade menor que a das amostras de referência feitas apenas com cimento. Conclui-se pelo estudo que as cinzas de bambu são alternativas promissoras para substituir parcialmente o cimento visto que elas proporcionam boas características mecânicas e físicas ao concreto e atendem a demandas sustentáveis. Além disso, foram levantadas lacunas na literatura que podem guiar futuras pesquisas, quais sejam: (1) os parâmetros naturais e artificiais que afetam a composição química das cinzas de bambu; (2) o comportamento químico e físico de cinzas de bambu em compósitos cimentícios sob condições microscópicas; e (3) as vantagens econômicas associadas a substituir parcialmente cimento por cinzas de bambu. Abstract:
O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o caso concreto Caça de Baleias na Antártica cuja demanda foi apresentada perante a Corte Internacional de Justiça pela Austrália em face do Japão e que teve a Nova Zelândia como interveniente. O trabalho traz breve introdução acerca do surgimento da legislação internacional de proteção às baleias, os fatos do caso concreto e analisa sinteticamente os pontos demandados pela Austrália perante a Corte e os pontos que a Corte utilizou no julgamento final. Ademais, aponta-se a metodologia utilizada pela CIJ neste caso, qual seja o critério de revisão (standard of review), bem como os aspectos principais dos votos dissidentes e do voto separado do Juiz Cançado Trindade. Ao final, o artigo traz uma análise crítica da decisão da CIJ neste caso emblemático, tal como insights acerca da importância dos cetáceos no ecossistema marinho e sua condição como bem jurídico de titularidade difusa.

Abstract:
Uno de los efectos ambientales más conocidos de las ciudades es que inducen a la impermeabilización de suelos que a su vez incrementan los impactos del calentamiento global. La construcción de infraestructura, como calles y banquetas hechas de pavimento o concreto propician una disrupción entre las actividades de la población y el ciclo hidrológico natural. El cambio de uso de suelo y la extracción para el abastecimiento de agua potable sin criterios de sostenibilidad urbana agrava la situación en muchas ciudades del mundo. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo se efectuó una lectura comparada sobre el manejo de las aguas pluviales en los contextos del ciclo integral del agua urbana y la sostenibilidad. Se revisaron 61 artículos que permiten observar que los sistemas urbanos de drenaje sustentable son una alternativa esencial para contrarrestar los efectos del cambio climático y mitigar las variaciones importantes en la distribución de los patrones de pluviosidad anual en diferentes regiones, especialmente en ciudades latinoamericanas.

Muchos factores que afectan nuestra salud y bienestar son sociales, culturales, políticos, psicológicos o económicos. En las últimas dos décadas, ha habido un gran aumento en la investigación sobre el efecto de las artes en la salud y el bienestar. La evidencia indica que las intervenciones artísticas desempeñan un papel importante en la prevención, la promoción de la salud y el tratamiento de las enfermedades no transmisibles a lo largo de la vida. Estas evidencias fueron recogidas por la Organización Mundial de la Salud, en su informe, What is the evidence on the role of the arts in improving health and well-being? A scoping review, publicado en diciembre del 2019, y que sin duda representó un avance y respaldo para todos aquellos que venimos trabajando desde años en este ámbito del arte y la salud. Tres años después de la publicación de este informe, de nuevo la Organización Mundial de la Salud, en concreto la WHO European Office for Prevention and Control of NCDs y el programa europeo de la WHO, Behavioural and cultural insights convocan esta reunión de expertos, entendiendo este encuentro como una plataforma multidisciplinar para compartir experiencias a nivel regional y nacional, estudios de casos concretos, buenas prácticas y políticas cros-sectoriales que tienen un especial potencial para el desarrollo de las artes como estrategia y herramienta válida para la salud.

El interés de incluir residuos de vidrio en el hormigón se atribuye a la creciente necesidad para su disposición, además de minimizar el uso de las materias primas empleadas en la preparación del concreto tradicional. Los residuos de vidrio, tienen un efecto sobre las propiedades en estado fresco y endurecido, sin embargo, son escasos los reportes que dan cuenta de su efecto en las emisiones de CO2. En este trabajo, se presenta una revisión de diferentes reportes que incorporan residuos de vidrio en reemplazo de los agregados o el cemento y se realizó la estimación de las emisiones de CO2. Los resultados muestran que el reemplazo de cemento por residuos de vidrio genera un efecto positivo sobre la resistencia y disminuye las emisiones de CO2, siendo mayor cuanto mayor es el reemplazo de cemento, se encontró una reducción del 22% en las emisiones para un 20% de reemplazo. Interest to include waste glass in concrete can be ascribed to the growing need for waste disposal, as well as to minimize traditional raw material usage in concrete preparation. Glass waste has a direct effect on the properties in a fresh and hardened state; however, there are few reports that account for its effect on CO2 emissions. In this paper, a review of different reports that incorporate glass waste in replacement of aggregates or cement is presented and the estimation of CO2 emissions was made. The results show that the replacement of cement by glass waste generates a positive effect on strength and decreases carbon dioxide emissions, being greater the greater the cement replacement, a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions was found for a 20% replacement.

The paper deals with the “application of the Constitutionˮ by ordinary courts. On the basis of literature review and preliminary Croatian case law research, six paradigmatic cases of the application of the Constitution by ordinary courts were selected (facts of the case directly regulated by constitutional rules, statutory gaps, avoidable in abstracto antinomies between constitutional and statutory norms, avoidable in concreto antinomies between constitutional and statutory norms, unconstitutionality of individual judicial and administrative decisions, and unavoidable in abstracto antinomies between constitutional and statutory norms). The cases selected were analyzed by using the method of argumentative analysis of judicial reasoning, within the framework of internal and external schemes of justification of judicial decisions, in examples (by and large) designed on the basis of Croatian case law.

Concrete is a versatile and the most widely used material in the world. According to a recent survey, its annual production is one cubic meter per person. Historically, it is an old material, which has evolved tremendously during the passage of time. This paper envisages the most recent smart developments in this wonderful material. The smart concretes discussed in this paper include Engineering Cementitious Composites, Self cleaning concrete, self heating concretes and ultra high performance powder reactive concretes. Through modern technology, the strength of concrete has been enhanced from a few hundred pounds per square inch to more than 30000 pounds per square inch. In the same way, the utility of concrete has been tremendously broadened in many fields. Here, primarily, a brief introduction of all important recent developments is discussed. Next, the composition of these materials is narrated, followed by their applications and utilities. The main theme of this paper is to understand the importance of these concretes and to introduce it to academia and construction industry of Pakistan. It is demonstrated that the introduction of these materials will solve many problems of construction, which are not possible to solve with conventional means. Moreover, these developments could solve many energy problems and some are even quite suitable for earthquake zones of Pakistan.

Abstract:
The dispute between Islamic law and positive law is continuously ongoing regarding the practice of illegal divorce. This practice is valid in Islamic law as long as the conditions and pillars are fulfilled. However, in Islamic law, it is considered a violation of marriage norms. The urgency of this study lies in the discourse of ithbāt ṭalāq to bridge the rise of illegal divorce in society. Through a literature review with a juridical approach to finding a legal basis for a case in concreto, this article shows that ithbāt ṭalāq functions as an instrument that can solve disputes between Islamic law and positive law. Through this instrument, husbands who force divorce out of court can be considered criminal actors who must be given sanctions in the form of ta'zīr (fine).

The concept of sustainable development provides for the search for environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional materials and technologies that would reduce the amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, do not pollute the environment, and reduce energy costs and the cost of production processes. These technologies include the production of geopolymer concretes. The purpose of the study was a detailed in-depth analytical review of studies of the processes of structure formation and properties of geopolymer concretes in retrospect and the current state of the issue. Geopolymer concrete is a suitable, environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to concrete based on ordinary Portland cement (OPC) with higher strength and deformation properties due to its more stable and denser aluminosilicate spatial microstructure. The properties and durability of geopolymer concretes depend on the composition of the mixture and the proportions of its components. A review of the mechanisms of structure formation, the main directions for the selection of compositions and processes of polymerization of geopolymer concretes has been made. The technologies of combined selection of the composition of geopolymer concrete, production of nanomodified geopolymer concrete, 3D printing of building structures from geopolymer concrete, and monitoring the state of structures using self-sensitive geopolymer concrete are considered. Geopolymer concrete with the optimal ratio of activator and binder has the best properties. Geopolymer concretes with partial replacement of OPC with aluminosilicate binder have a denser and more compact microstructure due to the formation of a large amount of calcium silicate hydrate, which provides improved strength, durability, less shrinkage, porosity and water absorption. An assessment of the potential reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from the production of geopolymer concrete compared to the production of OPC has been made. The potential of using geopolymer concretes in construction practice is assessed in detail.

En concreto, se describe la relación entre la enfermedad y distintas manifestaciones psicológicas a través de un repaso a las investigaciones que han estudiado el vínculo entre alopecia areata y factores de personalidad. Como conclusión se puede indicar que las variables psicológicas guardan relación con dicho padecimiento; asimismo, y aunque el factor etiológico permanece en discusión, se acepta que las variables psicológicas pueden mantener y agravar el curso de la enfermedad, lo que podría repercutir de forma negativa en la calidad de vida de las personas.

This publication seeks to demonstrate how concrete contributes to future generations' sustainable development, and will be of interest to policy makers, contractors and clients, as well as others involved with the design, construction or operation of buildings and infrastructure. Silica fume (SF) modifies interfacial transition zone between cement paste and aggregate at the micro level. Properties of both fresh and hardened silica fume concrete are affected significantly compared to normal concrete. Experiments indicate that concretes become more cohesive and less prone to segregation in the presence of silica fume, moreover, performance of water demand, setting of time, plastic shrinkage varies respectively from concretes without silica fume. Obvious mechanical enhancement of concrete is observed in the aspects of compressive strength tensile strength, elastic modulus as well as fracture toughness.

Nowadays, the teaching in civil engineering courses related to the analysis and design of reinforced concrete beams subjected to pure bending is based on models that use simplifications to facilitate calculations. When analyzing the plastic capacity of a rectangular section, its yield moment is usually calculated assuming that the stress-strain relationship can be idealized using a straight line. However, the validity of this relationship is only verified when the levels of compressive stress are less than 45% of the compressive strength of concrete f´c. For this reason, it is convenient to make a rigorous review over the convenience of using this simplification at medium and to high stresses close to failure. This work studies how a reinforced concrete section behaves according to the simplified model and compares its results to those obtained when using the function proposed by Hognestad in 1955 (still vigent). Interestingly, as a general conclusion, it can be said that the results predicted by the simplified model fit well respect to those obtained using the greatest mathematical rigor.

The postpositvism paradigm used a qualitative approach through the in concreto study of and court behaviour. The results of the study are the Constitutional Court Decision Number:91/PUU-XVIII/2020 through its considerations, opinions and verdicts in the main application oriented to procedural justice. It can be concluded that The Decree of Constitutional Court Decision Number:91/PUU-XVIII/2020 is oriented to procedural justice. The study recommends, in line with the principle of justice of John Rawls, the basic legal values of Gustav Radbruch and the social justice value of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, formal test on Omnibus Law of Kob Creation should have been rejected, and made substantive justice orientation of the Constitutional Court Decision Number:91/PUU-XVIII/2020.

With the development of new cement-based raw materials, foaming agents and fillers used for special applications of foam concrete, the use of foam concretes has become widespread. Foam concrete is a type of concrete that stands out with its lightness, waste potential, controlled low strength, thermal insulation, acoustics performance, and durability. The knowledge base is still developing for this particular building material. This article describes in detail the fresh, hardened, and physical properties of foam concrete. The properties of materials such as cement, aggregate, foam, and fiber used in foam concrete production are explained and their effects on microstructure are discussed. In addition, physical properties, such as fresh state properties, fresh state and consistency, stability, workability, drying shrinkage, air void system, and water absorption, as well as strength and durability properties are emphasized. The main findings of the presented study are to show the current level of the cement-based foam concretes and their shortcomings, which needs more investigations. The effect of fibers on the characteristics of foam concrete and acoustic characteristic of foam concretes are seen as the main topics to be focused on in the studies.

O trabalho trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico exploratório, ou seja, foi realizado através da consulta de artigos, livros, revistas, etc., buscando pressupor algo sobre o respectivo assunto. Após as análises, foi possível encontrar diversos tipos de resíduos que apresentaram composição satisfatória, com propriedades semelhantes ao aglomerante convencional, podendo ser utilizados na indústria, substituindo-o parcialmente. Dentre os aglomerantes destacaram-se: escórias; cinzas volantes; pó de vidro; resíduos de cerâmica vermelha; e, resíduos de construção civil. Desde el origen del emergente enfoque educativo STEAM hasta la actualidad han surgido diversas perspectivas que conllevan la adopción de distintas vías para implementar una intervención educativa. Este hecho parece estar conduciendo a una peligrosa polisemia que no facilita la labor docente e incluso podría restar potencial a su intención inicial: mostrar los vínculos entre las disciplinas y favorecer el gusto por su aprendizaje. Este estudio persigue dos objetivos: (1) dilucidar la conceptualización que realizan los autores sobre la educación STEAM; y (2) analizar aquellas intervenciones educativas que integran las cinco disciplinas del acrónimo. Para arrojar luz al asunto se ha realizado una revisión sistemática de la literatura publicada durante el periodo 2015-2020 e indexada en Web of Science. Tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión, fueron seleccionados 20 artículos. Los principales resultados apuntan que: (1) la calidad de la fundamentación teórica de los trabajos determina la calidad de la “intervención STEAM” desarrollada; (2) no existe consenso en cuanto a los significados otorgados a la “A” de STEAM; y (3) el modo de integración disciplinar preferente es a partir de un contexto concreto, siendo los de carácter histórico o cultural los más utilizados. Se finaliza apuntando la conveniencia de continuar esta línea de trabajo hasta consensuar un marco teórico para la educación STEAM que dirija el diseño de propuestas educativas, así como la necesidad de evaluar su eficacia en las aulas.

Concretes have been the favoured material to make concrete railway sleepers due to better accessibility and weather compared to their timber counterparts. Railway sleepers are crucial infrastructure and 5% of concrete sleepers fail prematurely. Sleeper failure could result in catastrophic railway accidents. Hence, improvement is needed in the concrete sleeper mixes. Previous literature has identified two methods of improving concrete strength in concrete mixes with wastes, through replacement of concrete constituents or the use of alkali-activated materials. Use of wastes as partial concrete material replacements reduces the volume of concrete materials while alkali-activated material forms a concrete-like compound that eliminates the use of cement. These methods improve the strength performance and sustainability aspects of the concrete. While many studies have been conducted on these two types of sustainable concrete, their application in concrete railway sleepers has not been investigated. Thus, this paper looks to review the two different types of sustainable concretes through some previous literature that has been conducted on its application in concrete railway sleepers as well as those that have yet to be studied. Ultimately, identifying the best sustainable materials for concrete railway sleepers.

What advantages does this methodology have over previous methods? Can it be applied to all relevant fields of study? Coal gangue is a kind of industrial solid waste with serious ecological and environmental implications. Producing concrete with coal gangue aggregate is one of the green sustainable development requirements. This paper reviews the properties and preparation methods of Chinese gangue aggregate, studies the influence of gangue aggregate on concrete properties and the prediction model of gangue concrete, and summarizes the influence of modified materials on gangue concrete. The studies analyzed in this review show that different treatments influence the performance of coal gangue aggregate concrete. With the increase in the replacement ratio of coal gangue aggregate in concrete, the concrete workability and mechanical performance are reduced. Furthermore, the pore structure changes lead to decreased porosity, greatly affecting the durability. Coal gangue is not recommended for producing high-grade concretes. Nevertheless, pore structure can be improved by adding mineral admixtures, fibers, and admixtures to the coal gangue concrete. Hence, the working properties, mechanical properties, and durability of the concrete can be improved effectively, ensuring that coal gangue concrete meets engineering design requirements. Adding modified materials to coal gangue concrete is a viable future development direction.

This review synthesizes the findings on the deterioration mechanisms in concrete structures, focusing on carbonation, chloride-induced corrosion, and time-dependent deterioration. The analysis includes discussions on predictive likelihood methods for estimating bridge reliability, the impact of environmental factors on carbonation, and standardized testing methods for assessing concrete durability. The review highlights the importance of understanding material characteristics and environmental conditions in designing durable concrete structures, emphasizing the processes of carbonation, its impact on rebar corrosion, and strategies for mitigation. Sheltered concrete carbonation resistance in metropolitan tropical climates is 10-20% lower than open exposure. SCM concretes exhibit equivalent or greater long-term carbonation resistance to OPC concretes, as evidenced by the increase in carbonation depth ( Δ xd) at ages greater than 5 years. The paper concludes with recommendations for integrating advanced modeling techniques and empirical studies to develop robust maintenance strategies and improve concrete mix designs for enhanced durability.

Yet, construction industries worldwide have started to mainly use sound-absorbing concrete to reduce the frequency of sounds in opened-and-closed areas and increase sound insulation. As reported, the concrete acoustic properties generally rely on its density, exhibiting that the lighter ones, such as cellular concrete, will absorb more sound than high-density concretes. However, this paper has an objective to afford a wide-ranging review of sound-absorbing acoustic concretes, including the measurement techniques and insulation characteristics of building materials and the sound absorption properties of construction materials. It is also intended to extensively review to provide insights into the possible use of a typical sound-absorbing acoustic concrete in today’s building industry to enhance housing occupants’ efficiency, comfort, well-being, and safety.

Abstract:
The available literature identifies that the addition of mineral admixture as partial replacement of cement improves the microstructure of the concrete (i.e., porosity and pore size distribution) as well as increasing the mechanical characteristics such as drying shrinkage and creep, compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, and modulus of elasticity; however, no single document is available in which review and comparison of the influence of the addition of these mineral admixtures on the mechanical characteristics of the hardened pozzolanic concretes are presented. In this paper, based on the reported results in the literature, mechanical characteristics of hardened concrete partially containing mineral admixtures including fly ash (FA), silica fume (SF), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), metakaolin (MK), and rice husk ash (RHA) are discussed and it is concluded that the content and particle size of mineral admixture are the parameters which significantly influence the mechanical properties of concrete. All mineral admixtures enhance the mechanical properties of concrete except FA and GGBS which do not show a significant effect on the strength of concrete at 28 days; however, gain in strength at later ages is considerable. Moreover, the comparison of the mechanical characteristics of different pozzolanic concretes suggests that RHA and SF are competitive.

Abstract:
Corrosion of steel reinforcement due to chloride attack remains a major reinforced concrete durability concern. The problem is prevalent for concrete structures located within marine environments or frost-prone locations where chlorides containing de-icing salts are used. This paper is a state-of-the-art review into chloride binding in Portland cement concrete, with consideration of the differences induced by the presence of sulphates, such as found in seawater. The review also considers the use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), the use of which has increased because of their potential to enhance durability and reduce the carbon footprint of concrete production. Such materials impact on phase assemblage and microstructure, affecting chloride binding and transport properties. Therefore, field and laboratory studies are critically reviewed to understand how these could help in the design of more durable concretes. The contributions of chloride binding, hydrate compositions and microstructures of the binding materials affecting chloride transport in concretes are also evaluated to suggest a more robust approach for controlling the problem of chloride attack.

Abstract:
Geopolymer is a relatively new substance that has sparked a surge of research into nearly every field of geopolymers in recent years. It's still on the verge of becoming a competitive OPC concrete alternative. Mechanical, hardness, and fire resistance properties of geopolymer are exceptional. There has been no/limited research on the effect of fiber integration on fire resistance of geopolymer concrete. In fire-exposed concrete, fiber can help to resist spalling. The goal of this study is to develop materials that exhibit eco-friendly properties and better fire-resistant behavior. Moreover, the combined effect of binder materials and different fibers on the fire resistance of geopolymer concretes. According to the findings, the fire resistance of fiber-reinforced geopolymer concretes increased in the order of carbon fiber-based GPC, micro-steel fiber-based GPC, hooked steel fiber-based GPC, and polypropylene fiber-based GPC. Furthermore, as compared to slag and metakaolin-based GPC, fly ash-based GPC has greater stability and fire resistance. Fiber-reinforced GPC can also be used as a sustainable and durable building material in various construction applications where high performance is needed.

L'alfabetizzazione motoria (Physical Literacy - PL) è divenuta una delle principali finalità dell’educazione fisica, dell'attività motoria extracurriculare e della promozione dello sport in tutto il mondo. Il modello di Whitehead (2013) descrive le componenti motorie, comportamentali e psicologiche che comprendono la PL, tra cui la competenza motoria percepita, il divertimento e la convinzione dell’importanza di impegnarsi in attività fisiche per tutta la vita. La Physical literacy comprende, inoltre, la motivazione, la fiducia, le abilità motorie, la conoscenza e la consapevolezza, che consentono di acquisire e mantenere uno stile di vita fisicamente attivo. Nelle Indicazioni Nazionali (2012) la didattica per competenze motorie è orientata a promuovere i fattori che compongono la PL. Una competenza motoria, infatti, si realizza attraverso l’interazione di fattori diversi, capacità-abilità motorie, conoscenze, comportamenti ed atteggiamenti della persona che si evolvono secondo ritmi differenti e sono variabili in relazione ai processi individuali di apprendimento-sviluppo individuale ed ai contesti in cui si realizza. Una competenza motoria, pertanto, è l’utilizzo concreto delle abilità motorie e delle conoscenze e rinvia ad una stretta relazione tra sapere, saper fare, saper essere; essa esprime l’integrazione delle conoscenze (i saperi), delle abilità motorie (i saper fare) e degli atteggiamenti (saper essere) sulla base delle capacità personali. Obiettivi. Il contributo si propone di presentare una review dei protocolli e delle prove di valutazione delle capacità-abilità motorie utilizzate in educazione fisica, al fine di studiare i contenuti ed analizzare vantaggi e limiti nel contesto scolastico. I protocolli e le prove in ambito motorio consentono di controllare sistematicamente l’evoluzione e lo sviluppo della PL, le tappe di sviluppo motorio del bambino, le scelte metodologiche compiute. Metodo. La valutazione delle competenze motorie nella scuola primaria costituisce un tema metodologico di notevole complessità ed attualità per le relazioni ineludibili con la struttura disciplinare e la definizione degli obiettivi formativi necessari alla progettazione delle unità di apprendimento ed alla personalizzazione dell’intervento didattico. In educazione Fisica la valutazione delle competenze motorie evidenzia il rapporto tra il modello normativo, quantitativo-comparativo ed il modello criteriale, qualitativo non-comparativo. Nell’ambito della competenza motoria, la valutazione dovrebbe restituire all’insegnante ed alle famiglie dati oggettivi e soggettivi sulla percezione e la coordinazione motoria attraverso una varietà compiti motori e sulle relative varianti esecutive. Le abilità motorie si esprimono attraverso varianti esecutive spaziali, temporali, quantitative e qualitative ed i loro rapporti e sono correlate alle capacità motorie dei bambini. Le prove ed i protocolli di valutazione consentono di controllare l’apprendimento di compiti motori e la loro evoluzione temporale, in relazione alle metodologie d’insegnamento proposte. I protocolli di valutazione utilizzano metodi orientati "sul prodotto" o "sul processo" per esaminare le abilità motorie. Le misure incentrate sul prodotto offrono informazioni oggettive che indicano il tempo impiegato o il numero di prove necessarie per completare con successo un compito prestabilito (es., M-ABC). Le valutazioni motorie orientate al processo esaminano la qualità del movimento, tuttavia, sono presenti i limiti dell'affidabilità, dovuti all'influenza dell'esperienza del valutatore e della soggettività sui punteggi dei test. Nell’ambito di un’adeguata valutazione della PL basata sulla competenza motoria, i protocolli attuali presentano una serie di limitazioni, ad es., relative al tempo necessario per la loro proposta al gruppo-casse o all’utilizzo di misure dicotomiche (si-no/presenza-assenza di un determinato fattore motorio), all’utilizzo di specifiche attrezzature. Attraverso diversi protocolli d valutazione (es.TGMD-2-3; MOBAK; KTK, ecc.) è possibile acquisire dati sistematicamente sul processo didattico, per individuare il repertorio delle abilità e capacità motorie correlate di ciascun bambino, controllare sistematicamente le tappe dell’apprendimento e l’evoluzione dello sviluppo motorio, ottenere feedback sulle scelte didattiche inerenti i compiti motorie e le metodologie utilizzate.

Na primeira seção, apresenta-se o pressuposto de que a linguagem é originariamente social e a língua, produto sócio-histórico, em constante mudança. Na segunda, debate-se o conceito de enunciado como texto, oral ou escrito, concreto, constituidor e organizador da vida coletiva. Na terceira, toca-se na temática dos gêneros discursivos, historicamente situados e organicamente sociais e culturais para, na última seção, desenvolver o conceito de ideologia na interligação constante entre infraestrutura e superestrutura, entre ideologia do cotidiano e oficial. Abstract:
Concrete is the most common building material; therefore, when designing structures, it is obligatory to consider all structural parameters and design characteristics such as acoustic properties. In particular, this is to ensure comfortable living conditions for people in residential premises, including acoustic comfort. Different types of concrete behave differently as a sound conductor; especially dense mixtures are superior sound reflectors, and light ones are sound absorbers. It is found that the level of sound reflection in modified concrete is highly dependent on the type of aggregates, size and distribution of pores, and changes in concrete mix design constituents. The sound absorption of acoustic insulation concrete (AIC) can be improved by forming open pores in concrete matrices by either using a porous aggregate or foam agent. To this end, this article reviews the noise and sound transmission in buildings, types of acoustic insulating materials, and the AIC properties. This literature study also provides a critical review on the type of concretes, the acoustic insulation of buildings and their components, the assessment of sound insulation of structures, as well as synopsizes the research development trends to generate comprehensive insights into the potential applications of AIC as applicable material to mitigate noise pollution for increase productivity, health, and well-being.

Abstract:
Execution of civil case decision at the normative and implementative levels often causes juridical, sociological, and philosophical problems. The juridical problems may arise since the norms that regulate execution are often too short, simple, and not detailed; this could also cause problems at the implementative level. On top of that, the problems may be caused by a non-executable legally-binding decision (inkracht van gewijs de zaak). The objectives of the study are to investigate the ideal implementation of execution for the winning party to be in accordance with the provisions in Article 2 para. (4) and Article 4 para. (2) of Law No. 48/2009 concerning Judicial Power. The study employs a juridical, normative, and historical approach, as well as an in-concreto law discovery method. The study involved secondary data acquired from the review of relevant legal literatures. The data were analyzed and presented qualitatively. The results reveal that the principles of simple, fast, and low-cost judiciary is actualized if, in practice, the District Court Chief does not have to wait for the High Court Chief’s approval. Therefore, the Supreme Court shall prepare personnel (who have been appointed as Civil Servants) as the instruments to carry out the execution of legally-binding decisions.

Abstract:
This work aims to document three historical paleontological collections of Cenozoic vertebrate fossils from the Leon province. Specifically, those published by Gómez de Salazar (1850), Gago Rabanal (1910) and Royo y Gómez (1930). After decades of being lost, the first two have been found in two different institutions of the city of León. A provisional intervention on the specimens of these collections has been carried out, including cleaning and consolidation, as well as a preliminary anatomical and taxonomic determination, and a proper cataloguing that contains all the available information. The third collection is housed in the Museo Geominero with replicas in the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (Madrid). The review of these specimens has provided data on the occurrence of new or rare taxa and fossil elements of the fossil record of Neogene vertebrates in the province of Leon, and has extended the knowledge of previous palaeontological work in the area of study. These results imply the revaluation and care of material with scientific and historical value, that should be housed in institutions where they can be adequately keeped. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo documentar tres colecciones paleontológicas históricas de fósiles de vertebrados del Cenozoico de León. En concreto las publicadas por Gómez de Salazar (1850), Gago Rabanal (1910) y Royo y Gómez (1930). Las dos primeras han sido halladas, tras décadas de estar perdidas, en sendas instituciones de la ciudad de León. Sobre estas colecciones se ha realizado la intervención provisional de las piezas que incluye limpieza y consolidación, así como una determinación anatómica y taxonómica preliminar, y una correcta catalogación que contiene toda la información disponible. La tercera colección se encuentra depositada en el Museo Geominero con réplicas en el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (Madrid). La revisión de estos ejemplares ha aportado datos sobre la presencia de taxones y elementos fósiles nuevos o escasos para el registro fósil de vertebrados del Neógeno de la provincia de León y ha ampliado el conocimiento de los trabajos paleontológicos previos en el área de estudio. Estos resultados suponen la revalorización y cuidado de materiales con valor científico e histórico, los cuales deberían ser depositados en instituciones donde puedan ser adecuadamente custodiados

Abstract:
Compared to conventional concrete, lightweight concrete offers a reduced unit weight, making it easier to handle and transport. Its popularity has surged globally in numerous countries and has proven beneficial for construction purposes. Lightweight concrete often exhibits better thermal insulation properties compared to traditional concrete, contributing to energy efficiency in buildings. Recently, the inclusion of cenospheres in lightweight aggregates is being is heavily researched around the world. Ceneosphere addition increases the volume of the concrete mixture because of their smaller size and hollow nature of the particle. This research paper showcases the various applications and advantages of lightweight concrete (LWC) containing cenosphere, along with highlighting the role of different supplementary cementitious materials characteristics and manufacturing methods. Furthermore, the current study examines previous researches on sustainable lightweight concretes and showcases the improvements and advancements in mechanical, durability, and thermal properties obtained when cenospheres were added.
