Abstract:
- This work analyzes the relationships between the Relative Deprivation Model and the Social Identity Theory. In the first part, different definitions of the concept of relative deprivation are presented, as well as its different typologies. In the second part, the theoretical and empirical links between the Relative Deprivation Modell and the processes of social identification are examined. Finally, the importance of the relationship between the two theories for the prevision of interindividual and intergroup strategies in social comparison is highlighted.

Barbera Questo studio mirava a stabilire se l'interdipendenza percepita avesse un effetto significativo sulla cooperazione e se la fiducia fosse un mediatore di tale effetto. Alla ricerca hanno partecipato 82 studenti, di entrambi i sessi, che hanno preso parte individualmente ad un gioco dilemmatico con un partner fittizio di un'altra nazione europea. Č stato misurato il livello d'interdipendenza percepita dei soggetti con gli altri cittadini europei, ed č stata inoltre misurata la fiducia nel partner europeo con cui ciascun partecipante aveva giocato. I risultati mostrano che l'interdipendenza percepita ha un effetto significativo sulla cooperazione, che č mediato totalmente dalla fiducia. Tali risultati vengono discussi insieme alle loro implicazioni teoriche ed applicative.

Il saggio prende in esame due punti della teorizzazione di Harry Frankfurt in merito alla moral agency. Il primo č la corretta concettualizzazione del momento della ‘decisione' all'interno della catena deliberativa. Vengono esaminati tre passaggi critici: a) la base normativa a cui la decisione risponde; b) la teoria della ‘unificazione della persona' attraverso la decisione e c) la distinzione fra ‘scelta' e ‘decisione'. Il secondo punto č l'ambiguitÀ insita nel concetto di ‘doveri d'amore' proposto da Frankfurt. A questo proposito vengono esaminate: a) la distinzione fra amore "attivo" e "passivo" e b) la mancata tematizzazione della "legittimitÀ dell'amore", ovvero del rapporto fra l'amore in quanto relazione sociale e i quadri interpretativi della cultura entro cui si sviluppa.

Una delle caratteristiche principali della memoria è il suo essere in movimento, il quale, attraversa in maniera trasversale: nazioni, epoche e tecnologie. Rappresenta, inoltre, uno degli aspetti più rilevanti nella costruzione dell’identità; definisce e scandice la vita di un individuo o un gruppo sociale, li caratterizza indelebilmente nel tempo, viene ri-mediata all’interno dei media e dei diversi gruppi della nostra società. Questo suo “viaggio” transnazionale che percorre lo spazio, il tempo e le tecnologie in una continua mediazione e ridefinizione lo si assimila al medesimo cammino che in una certa forma compie la traduzione. È innegabile come memoria, identità e traduzione siano intimamente connesse fra di loro e a ciò che è racchiuso nell’essenza umana, che deve intendersi in una dialettica dell’implicazione e dell’ipseità/alterità.

Il volume di Frascani ripropone implicitamente la questione di fondo del dualismo economico, culturale e sociale che ha contraddistinto la storia italiana degli ultimi secoli. Lette attraverso la lente di ingrandimento della storia marina, l'evoluzione produttiva e la costruzione simbolica nazionale presentano, una volta di piů, la fisionomia ambigua e differenziata. Le dinamiche del potere e la sua carica disciplinante vengono analizzate con acume e profonditÀ, sollecitando nuovi interrogativi e gettando una luce talvolta inquietante su un tema che, da sempre, la retorica da Belpaese ha piuttosto presentato come unificante e pacificatore.

Riassunto: Il pericoloso potere di assimilazione renderebbe le cose identiche le une alle altre, uniformandole, smarrendone la singolarità. Il mondo senza alterità si ridurrebbe a una massa omogenea: l’Identico e la sua rappresentazione. L’esistenza di un segno non è semplicemente riflessa ma rifratta (Vološinov). In questa rifrazione gioca il ruolo determinante l’alterità. Produrre e comprendere segni significa partecipare ai processi comunicativi. Il segnico è il campo dell’ambivalenza in cui tutto si decide per relazioni e pratiche sociali (Bachtin). Uscire dalla filosofia del soggetto (Foucault), porsi in una posizione “fuori-di-sé”, configurare una scrittura in-ferma contro il soggetto statico, per recuperare il corpo sociale nelle parole e nelle immagini.Abstract: The dangerous power of assimilation uniforms things, making them lose their singularity. The world without otherness would be reduced to a homogeneous mass where representation always represents the Identical. The existence of a sign is not simply reflected but refracted (Voloshinov). In this refraction, otherness plays the decisive role. Producing and understanding signs means participating in communication processes. The sign is the field of ambivalence in which everything is decided by relationships and social practices (Bakhtin). In this field is possible as this paper tries to show, to get out of the philosophy of the subject (Foucault) in order to recover the social body of words and images.

Incessant migratory flows move towards nations or cities where they can find better living conditions, driven by economic inequalities, political and social instability, war conflicts and environmental emergencies, and generate real or perceived perturbations in the social and economic organization of territories. The changes in value, social, spatial and economic systems resulting from migration flows were debated during the SIEV conference “Values Spaces Migrations. Scopo di questo lavoro è fornire un quadro di riferimento teorico per l’analisi di quelle che potrebbero essere definite le crescenti rivendicazioni di diritti e manifestazioni di interesse (individuali e collettive) relative al cibo nella contemporaneità. L’ipotesi, indagata attraverso un’analisi bibliografica nel contesto della teoria dei sistemi sociali di N. Luhmann, è che il cibo – e in particolare la sua tematizzazione nell’ambito della salute e del benessere – costituisca un mezzo attraverso cui gli individui possono avanzare pretese, costruendo la propria identità e attribuendo senso alle proprie condotte, trovando così una posizione all’interno del contesto sociale.

L’educazione interculturale è spesso pensata in relazione ai percorsi con cui gli alunni di recente immigrazione vengono accompagnati verso l’integrazione nella società di accoglienza. In realtà l’educazione interculturale, e più in generale l’interculturalità, vanno molto oltre questa nozione specifica, superando la visione che le costringe dentro una sorta di “pedagogia per stranieri”. L’interculturalità è prima di tutto un paradigma, una prospettiva pedagogica, e rappresenta il modello più adatto per pensare una formazione che sia efficace oggi e che al contempo guardi al futuro e alla sua incertezza; il paradigma interculturale insegna che la diversità e la pluralità si trovano nell’individuo stesso, prima di trovarsi altrove, e sollecita un ripensamento dell’identità a partire dall’alterità, sia a livello personale che collettivo. La prospettiva interculturale abbraccia molte scoperte proprie dell’epistemologia della complessità e rende necessaria una riforma del pensiero, attraverso l’apertura dei saperi disciplinari e lo sviluppo di una mente versatile, critica e multiculturale; nell’epoca della globalizzazione e dell’interconnessione non è più possibile mantenere le categorie disgreganti del pensiero unico, che è un pensiero al singolare. La pedagogia interculturale si pone quindi come necessità formativa per tutti e viene a coincidere in ultima istanza con la pedagogia generale stessa.

Le profonde trasformazioni della società contemporanea coinvolgono tutte le professioni, dalle più tradizionali a quelle più innovative e recenti. In questo complesso panorama di ridefinizione le professioni sociali occupano un posto privilegiato, visto che stanno attraversando un periodo particolare della loro storia. E tra queste, la professione dell’educatore extrascolastico, si caratterizza come protagonista indiscussa, dato che in questa fase si aprono nuovi spazi di riflessione e revisione, di ripensamento, riqualificazione e ricollocazione nel mondo del lavoro e nella società. I processi in atto oltre a ridefinire ruoli e funzioni, delineano un nuovo quadro, nel quale l’utente, non più oggetto dell’intervento ma risorsa, è libero di scegliere da chi farsi assistere aumentando il proprio potere contrattuale e riducendo l’asimmetria con il servizio ed i suoi professionisti; in tal modo, si assiste al passaggio dal progetto del servizio al percorso accompagnato ed individualizzato. Le evoluzioni del sistema dei servizi, le trasformazioni e l’emergere di nuovi bisogni sociali cui rispondere, costituiscono nuovi stimoli per ripensare la professione dell’educatore extrascolastico, sottoponendola ad un’opera di manutenzione, rafforzamento ed ampliamento. La presente tesi nasce dalla volontà di inserirsi in un quadro di riflessione, di conoscenza e di precisazione della professione dell’educatore extrascolastico, di cui forse ancora oggi si conosce troppo poco. Infatti, non è chiaro a tutti quali siano i suoi compiti, inoltre risulta ancora una professione in Italia in via di riconoscimento ufficiale, dato che non esiste un albo o delle norme che ne regolamentino l’accesso o i diritti, infine non esiste chiarezza circa i percorsi formativi. Per questo vi è l’esigenza di comprendere quanto, come e in quale direzione si sia ampliato lo spettro delle competenze e delle pratiche dell’educatore extrascolastico. L’obiettivo è quello di produrre un’istantanea della figura professionale, analizzando l’attuale scenario e verificando quanto questa figura sia cambiata e verso quali possibili orizzonti giungerà in futuro. La ricerca svolta in tre anni si pone un duplice obiettivo: ripercorrere la storia e la legislazione riferita al ruolo dell’educatore extrascolastico ed ai servizi alla persona; e presentare la percezione rispetto al ruolo ed alle pratiche professionali di educatori che operano con utenza diversificata nel territorio della Provincia Autonoma di Trento.
The transformations in contemporary society involving all professions, from the traditional to the most innovative and recent. social professions, in particular the profession of extra-school educator is the main protagonist of this ridefintion process. Because in this phase will open new spaces to think, to review and to retrain this profession in the workplace and in the society. These processes moreover outlining a new framework in which users are no longer the subject of the intervention, but they are free to choose those to be assisted by increasing their power and reducing the asymmetry with service and its professionals, so we see the transition to an individualized service. The evolution of the services system, the changes and the emergence of new social needs are pressure to rethink the profession of extra-school educator. This paper aims at providing some tentative answers and clarifications about the profession of the extra-school educator. It isn't clear its tasks. In Italy this is a profession in the process of official recognition, since there isn't register or rules that regulate the access or rights. Finally there isn't clarity about the training. For these reasons there is a need to understand what, how and in what direction it has expanded the range of skills and practices of the extra-school educator. The aim is to give a summary of the profession, analyzing the current scene and noting how this figure has changed and where possible will come in the future. This three years research has a double target: to retrace the history and legislation about the profession of the extra-school educator and the social services; and submit the perception about the role and the practices of this profession, that works with different users in Trento.

Abstract:
This research represents the attempt to define a pedagogical analysis of adolescence at a historical time in which this particular stage of life has incorporated such new psycho-socio-pedagogical characteristics, as to need to classify it as an ‘education emergency’. In the last few years, Pedagogy, as a science of Education, seems almost indifferent to this problem in regards to theoretical considerations and scientific research. Because we consider Education as the process of building personal identity, this pedagogical study primarily takes into consideration the analysis of the relationship between adolescence and personal identity. This is the ultimate goal of the research: to try to analyze the problem of personal identity in order to understand the nature and characteristics of the current and potential educational process designed for adolescents. Current research has favored a phenomenological-ermeneutic approach to ensure unity in the analysis of the manifestations of adolescence, in accordance with the ‘personalistic’ pedagogy. The method of research has incorporated many different approaches which, in connecting quantitative with qualitative data, has allowed us to answer many of the thematic demands included in the research questions. The ‘focus group’ tool was used in gathering information to identify the concepts and experiences needed to interpret the perception that each adolescent has of their own personal identity. Three concepts have been noted as the main ones in adolescent development and also in the process of building personal identity: Body, thought, and relationship. These three concepts were used to create a questionnaire which was administered to a representative sample of adolescents. It was on the basis of the data found that the pedagogical interpretation of adolescence was developed.
La ricerca in oggetto rappresenta il tentativo di affrontare una tematizzazione pedagogica dell’adolescenza in un momento storico in cui questa età della vita sembra assumere nuove caratteristiche psico-socio-pedagogiche, tali da connotarla nei termini di un’emergenza educativa. A fronte di questa problematicità, la pedagogia come scienza dell’educazione appare negli ultimi anni, poco impegnata dal punto di vista della riflessione teorica e della ricerca scientifica. Assumendo l’educazione come processo di costruzione dell’identità personale, la proposta di lettura pedagogica passa attraverso l’analisi del legame che l’adolescenza intrattiene con l’identità personale. La finalità conoscitiva può essere così sintetizzata: mettere a fuoco la problematica dell’identità personale per comprendere la natura e le caratteristiche del processo educativo attuale e potenziale rivolto agli adolescenti. La presente ricerca ha privilegiato un approccio fenomenologico-ermeneutico per garantire, nella lettura delle manifestazioni dell’adolescenza, l’unità che viene raccomandata da una pedagogia di tipo personalista. La metodologia della ricerca si è avvalsa di un approccio multimodale che, nell'intersezione di dati quantitativi e qualitativi, ha permesso di rispondere alle esigenze conoscitive poste dalle domande di ricerca. Lo strumento del focus group è stato utilizzato nella fase esplorativa per far emergere le categorie concettuali ed esperienziali del vissuto identitario dell'adolescente. Corpo, pensiero e relazionalità si sono imposte come le sedi del cambiamento adolescenziale nonché le dimensioni costitutive dell'identità personale. Queste tre categorie hanno istruito la strutturazione del questionario che è stato somministrato ad un campione significativo di adolescenti. Sulla base dei dati raccolti, è stata sviluppata l’interpretazione pedagogica dell’adolescenza.

Negli ultimi decenni l’Europa ha assistito ad un notevole aumento della percentuale di cittadini musulmani. In paesi come la Francia e il Belgio, la questione dell’islam e dell’integrazione è stata per anni al centro del dibattito socio-politico. In seguito agli attentati di matrice terroristica islamica susseguitisi in Europa tra il 2015 e il 2016, è importante comprendere quale sia il ruolo dell’islam in questi paesi, e quali siano le cause che portano alla radicalizzazione di una parte della comunità islamica oggi presente in Europa. Le politiche di segregazione urbana attuate nelle principali città europee hanno di certo contribuito a creare un netto distacco tra le diverse comunità, scaturito in un sentimento di odio profondo da parte dei giovani di seconda generazione nei confronti delle istituzioni. Partendo da una breve introduzione storica sulla nascita delle prime cités francesi, cercheremo di portare alla luce quelle che sono le principali problematiche di natura sociale all’interno di questi grandi quartieri, determinando quali sono state le cause che nel 2005 in Francia hanno generato innumerevoli scontri tra la polizia e i giovani delle banlieue. Mostrare quale sia la relazione tra le conflittualità di ordine sociale e il processo di radicalizzazione rappresenta il punto focale dell’intero elaborato. Questa tesi in modo particolare mira ad evidenziare in che misura la religione musulmana negli anni è arrivata a costituire un vero e proprio fattore identitario, e perché oggi è oggetto di strumentalizzazione da parte di coloro che decidono di commettere attentati in nome dell’islam. Attraverso un’attenta analisi dell’ideologia che è alla base del processo di radicalizzazione, l’elaborato proseguirà evidenziando quelle che sono le dinamiche di tale processo, individuando una serie di fattori chiave che portano, coloro che vengono definiti soggetti sensibili all’interno della società ad abbracciare una visione estremista della religione. L’obiettivo finale della tesi sarà quello di far emergere in che modo lo Stato interviene nel processo di de-radicalizzazione, esaminando accuratamente le strategie di prevenzione attuate, prendendo come punto di riferimento il caso francese e belga.

The topic of the following research is focused on discursive positioning amongst social actors, whose gender falls somewhere between or outside of the sexual dualism, and contexts, characterised by a dominant heteronormative imprint. The edges of agency have been investigated, according to which a person, who passes amongst genders, claims a self representation, with regard to the peculiar symbolical and normative structure of specific contexts of interaction. In order to isolate the processes, throughout which develops a self-representation as gender, the rank of agency has been analysed, according to practices of positioning within three contexts: prison reality, workplaces and family environment. The study, therefore, aims to understand how transgender reproduce certain genderized Ideal-types, with regard to the symbolical coordinates of the context, the situativity of everyday interaction, as well as the linguistic meta-artefacts, circumscribing zones of meanings, which move in a feminine or masculine direction. The representations of self and others, within a socio-constructive perspective, are articulated along discursive productions in relation to everyday interactions and cultural and normative superstructures. Discourse, according to this approach, could be considered as a mediation artefact, which generates social meanings. The corpus of data, therefore, consists in gathering discursive material within the following contexts: - six semistructured interviews with staff members of the Sollicciano prison near Florence - five in-depth interviews with transprisoners detained in the same institute - seven in-depth interviews with transgender in private and work contexts - three diaries, written by transgender, contacted by socio-political associations in north and central Italy. These textual datas have been studied according to two methodological perspectives: Critical Analysis of the ideological matrix of discourse, with regard to the production of implicit meanings. The symbolic repertoires have been associated to conceptual macro-categories, adopting the software Transana for computer assisted discourse analysis Quali-quantitative analysis of semantic content and lexical organisation with the program for textual data analysis Alceste Results show that the constitutive elements of discursive production (lexicon, semantics, semiotics) generate narrative repertoires, with similar structure and affine representations of self and others. These units of meanings constitute the research goals of this study, focused on positioning between gender and (con)text. There emerged a sequential intersectionaliy amongst the following variables: Gender dualism ➔ Asymmetry of power ➔ Inequalities ➔ Discrimination ➔ Reified representation of gender From this process emerged different normative, structural as well as interactive practices, which, throughout universes of sense and systems of actions, socially recognised, culturally legitimised and discursively institutionalised, produce genderized Ideal-types and meanings, embedded within temporal horizons, relational sceneries and contextual limelights. With regard to prison context the edges of positioning are relegated within the institutional parameters of the penitentiary system. Language, especially, assumes a reifying function, by the moment, that semantic categories define normative links between self and context. Gender identity, actually, is circumscribed by precise discursive borders. With regard to family and workplaces, self-representation as transgender changes, according to situated symbolic coordinates. Normative superstructures influences discourse mainly on an implicit level. Agency within processes of gender identity affirmation depend from specific contexts and different modalities of positioning amongst self and others
L’argomento della presente ricerca è incentrato sul posizionamento discorsivo tra attori sociali, la cui identità di genere si discosta da una prospettiva dicotomica dei sessi, e contesti caratterizzati da accezioni prevalentemente eteronormative. Sono stati indagati i margini di agency, entro cui una persona in transizione tra i generi rivendica una rappresentazione di sé, rispetto alle peculiari strutture simboliche e normative di specifici contesti d’interazione. Al fine di cogliere i processi, attraverso cui si sviluppa una rappresentazione di sé come identità genderizzata, è stato analizzato il grado di agentitvità rispetto alle pratiche di posizionamento in tre contesti: realtà carceraria, mondo del lavoro ed ambiente famigliare. L’obbiettivo dello studio è di comprendere quanto le/i transgender riproducono certi idealtipi genderizzati, rispetto alle coordinate simboliche del contesto, alla situatività delle interazioni quotidiane, nonché alla specificità dei meta-artefatti linguistici che circoscrivono zone di significati declinati al femminile o al maschile. Le rappresentazioni di sé e dell’altro, in un ottica socio-costruzionista, sono articolate lungo produzioni discorsive tra interazioni quotidiane e sovrastrutture culturali e normative. Il discorso secondo questa prospettiva è inteso in quanto artefatto di mediazione che genera significati condivisi. Il corpus dei dati consiste perciò nella raccolta di materiale discorsivo nei seguenti contesti: - sei interviste semi-strutturate con i testimoni privilegiati che a diverso titolo prestano servizio presso il Nuovo Complesso Penitenziario di Sollicciano (FI) - cinque interviste in profondità con le detenute transgender recluse presso lo stesso istituto - sette interviste in profondità con persone transgender in contesti privati e lavorativi - tre diari scritti da persone transgender, contattati presso associazioni socio-politiche nel centro e nord Italia. Questi dati testuali sono stati studiati attraverso due prospettive metodologiche: Analisi critica della matrice ideologica del discorso, in riferimento alla produzione di significati impliciti. I repertori simbolici sono stati associati a macro-categorie concettuali, tramite il software per l’indagine computer assisted delle strutture discorsive Transana Analisi quali-quantitativa del contenuto semantico e dell’organizzazione lessicale con il programma per l’elaborazione di dati testuali Alceste Dai risultati è emerso che gli elementi costituenti la produzione discorsiva (lessico, semantica, semiotica) generano repertori narrativi simili nella struttura ed affini rispetto alla rappresentazione di sé e dell’altro. Queste unità di significato rispondono alla domanda conoscitiva della presente ricerca, focalizzata su posizionamento di genere e (con)testo. È stata, pertanto, individuata l’intersezionalità sequenziale tra le seguenti variabili: Dualismo di genere ➔ Asimmetria di poter ➔ Disuguaglianza ➔ Discriminazione ➔ Rappresentazione di genere reificata. Da questo processo sono emerse differenti pratiche normative, strutturali e d’interazione, le quali, attraverso universi di senso e sistemi d’azioni socialmente condivisi, culturalmente legittimati e discorsivamente istituzionalizzati, producono significati ed idealtipi genderizzati, annidati entro orizzonti temporali, scenari relazionali e ribalte contestuali. Per quanto riguarda il contesto carcerario i margini di posizionamento sono relegati entro i parametri istituzionali del sistema penitenziario. Il linguaggio, in particolare, assume una funzione reificante dal momento che le categorie semantiche definiscono i vincoli normativi tra sé e contesto. L’identità di genere, pertanto, risulta essere circoscritta da precisi confini discorsivi. Rispetto alle realtà famigliari e lavorative, le rappresentazioni di sé come transgender variano a seconda delle coordinate simboliche situate nel qui ed ora. Le sovrastrutture normative permeano il discorso a livello per lo più implicito. L’agency nel processo di affermazione della propria identità di genere dipende dalla specificità del contesto e dalle diverse modalità di posizionamento tra sé e l’altro

Abstract:
This study undertakes an analytical, historical reconstruction of the rural, social and political space of Baronia di Monreale, currently part of the Medio Campidano province of Sardinia, Italy. The expression “reconstruction of the rural, social and political space” entails an investigation into the various means by which the territory is exploited, the formation and development of economic and political élites in the villages, the various forms of property ownership (conveyancing of land and property), the urban demographic patterns of villages as well as the various typologies of dwellings . The investigation starts off with a historical exploration of the main events in Sardinia in modern times, focusing on those concerning the Monreale area. The central part of the present study is devoted to an in-­‐‑depth analysis of practices of the use of rural, agricultural space from the late Medieval period up to early contemporary times. The research has focused in particular on the creation and development of the estates of large landowners: records and maps in the Land Registry Office have been essential and fundamental research tools, thanks to which a graphic representation of the larger estates was made possible. The following section focuses on the social and political relations within and among the several communities. It was possible to reconstruct the dense network of family relations which linked the Monreale élite to people in the cities and in the rest of the region. In order to do this, both genealogical and the micro-­‐‑historical approaches have been employed, with the purpose of retracing the trajectories and the interconnections which enabled some of the representatives of Monreale families to occupy significant political and military roles in the national arena. The last part of the research has been devoted to the impacts and effects that human intervention had on the rural landscape. Land use, the testamentary dispositions, the conflicts between barons and communities have produced far-­‐‑reaching effects overtime, which have profoundly transformed the modern and contemporary landscape. The main objective of the study is to provide an overview of the several aspects that have contributed to shaping the places which are the subject of this research. The outcomes will have some practical applications in such areas as integrated planning, landscape conservation and development as well as in structured planning in sectors such as agriculture and handicrafts. Archive research was undertaken at Cagliari State Archives, Turin State Archives, Historical Diocesan Archives in Ales and the historical archives in Guspini, San Gavino and Sardara municipalities. The private archives of the Orrù and Diana families were consulted, as was that of the ecclesiastic Lorenzo Tuveri from Sardara.

Il materiale raccolto si articola in testo, immagini e video in una rappresentazione polifonica delle basi territoriali dell'identità sociale del complesso collinare del Montalbano, che si estende tra Firenze, Empoli, Prato e Pistoia. Il tema dell'identità locale territoriale è trattato nelle sue varie articolazioni. Si analizza come è organizzata la relazione tra abitanti e loro territorio, prendendo in considerazione, in particolare, la memoria storica sedimentata nei documenti e nei ricordi degli anziani, e poi analizzando la percezione dei confini e dei luoghi di riferimento che contribuiscono a formare un'immagine mentale chiara e strutturata dell'area vasta del Montalbano. Si prendono inoltre in esame gli attori sociali che contribuiscono a fare il paesaggio: coloro che a vario grado, con azioni e micro-azioni quotidiane, continuamente riproducono quella complessa figura territoriale che tanto interesse suscita in chi vive o semplicemente attraversa il Montalbano. An actual issue for Romania is the transition towards a knowledge society, including the fundamental component of information society. A powerful form of manifestation is given by the virtual social networks (or just social networks - SNs), Internet sites that give users the ability to create their own profiles and share information/socialize based on common preferences and by the social media, Internet sites where people interact by creating and exchanging information. In direct terms, the social networks and social media amplify and simplify the relationships between people, reduce distances, eliminate frontiers and contribute to globalization, with express fears that they are an important factor for the dissipation and degradation of national identity. Cultural and linguistic diversity are central to the development of knowledge societies, pointing out that local and traditional knowledge can be invaluable for education, art, health, etc.... The thesis of this work is the confirmation of the immanent and immutable character of the cultural identity in social media, regarded as one of the various manifestations of the Romanian people. The subject of study is the Romanian blogosphere, where blogs are classified on one hand in domains based on the topics they show, and on the other hand into categories related to the representation and visibility of culture and cultural identity. Blogs dedicated to social media learning are carefully evaluated. Web crawling is used to gather the data, whereas artificial intelligence and statistics are used for classification and cross-examination. The research shows interesting results, correlated with the empirical knowledge from sociological and anthropological studies.

Questo rapporto evidenzia come le discriminazioni strutturali e l'esclusione sociale influenzino le percezioni e gli atteggiamenti nei confronti del vaccino per il COVID-19 tra le comunità rom in Italia. Uno degli obiettivi è mettere in luce il ruolo che le autorità pubbliche e le comunità possono svolgere nel sostenere l'adozione del vaccino e nel contrasto ai più ampi processi di esclusione sociale.1 Le risposte contraddittorie che lo Stato italiano ha fornito durante la pandemia di Covid-19, insieme alle forme di esclusione già in atto, hanno comportato un aumento della sfiducia delle comunità rom nei confronti delle iniziative statali, impattando anche sull’adesione alla campagna vaccinale.2 Questo documento si propone di supportare e informare le amministrazioni locali e le istituzioni sanitarie pubbliche coinvolte nell’assistenza e nei processi di inclusione delle comunità rom in Italia. Il presente documento si basa su una ricerca condotta di persona e a distanza dal novembre 2021 al gennaio 2022 in Italia con le comunità rom e sinti di Milano, Roma e Catania. Sebbene queste comunità si caratterizzino per diversità storica e per differenti forme di identità linguistica, geografica, religiosa, sono state individuate delle somiglianze nel modo in cui hanno vissuto la pandemia di COVID-19 e nelle decisioni a proposito del vaccino. Questo documento è stato sviluppato per SSHAP da Iliana Sarafian (LSE) con i contributi e le revisioni di Elizabeth Storer (LSE), Tabitha Hrynick (IDS), Marco Solimene (University of Iceland), Dijana Pavlovic (Upre Roma) e Olivia Tulloch (Anthrologica).
