This thesis presents the application of coplanar circuit analysis in the design of compact single-feed circularly polarised (CP) and linearly polarised (LP) microstrip patch antennas. A CP nearly square patch antenna and a CP truncated corners square patch antenna are designed. Also a LP U-slot rectangular patch antenna is designed. In order to obtain a faster computational run-time, coplanar circuit analysis and segmentation method are applied for the impedance calculations. The coupling and self impedance formulas for both rectangular and right-angled isosceles triangular segments are given. Explicit formulas for the coupling impedance between a perimeter port and a probe port, and also the probe self impedance on both of these segments are new and are derived in detail. A CP nearly square patch antenna is designed using both the cavity and equivalent circuit models. New and simple design equations are derived to determine the dimensions of the patch with a feed in any given position. For a microstrip feed offset from a corner of the patch, the area of perturbation segment is increased which reduces the effect of manufacturing errors. A simple matching network consisting of a short length of microstrip line is designed to achieve a more compact form of the matched antenna. The results obtained from both models are good agreement. A CP truncated corners square patch antenna with a microstrip feed offset from the centre is presented. In previous work the design is a feed along the centre line and the areas of the deleted segments are very small so the performance of the antenna is very sensitive to manufacturing errors. Hence an offset feed is proposed in order to increase the perturbation area and so reduce the effect of the manufacturing errors. The segmentation method is used for which a new explicit matrix input impedance formula is derived. The impedance formula requires a computer run time less than half that required by simulation (full-wave software, Ansoft Ensemble). The change in area of the perturbed segment and input impedance with the microstrip offset feed position is examined. A compromise offset feed position was chosen so as to maximise the area of the perturbation segment and achieve good impedance matching for a compact antenna structure. A LP probe feed U-slot rectangular patch is designed and the input impedance is determined. A set of initial design equation is used to produce a first-pass design. In applying segmentation method a new explicit input impedance formula for the antenna is derived. The basic system of eleven coplanar circuit equations is reduced to seven equivalent circuit equations from which the explicit impedance formula is derived. The dimensions of the patch are adjusted to give good impedance matching. In respect of computational efficiency, the run time of the new matrix input impedance formula is at least 10 times faster than is required by simulation. A thicker substrate is also used in order to improve the bandwidth. The predicted, simulated and measured results of the above three compact patch antennas are in good agreement. Mathcad programming is used to implement the design calculations of the compact patch antennas.

The purpose of the present thesis is twofold; the first part comprises a theoretical analysis of the concept muse-ical in an attempt to describe similarities and differences between the concepts muse-ical and aesthetic and furthermore, to identify the distinguishing features of a muse-ical approach and a muse-ical program. The second part of the thesis reports on an empirical study among student teachers who have chosen to study the program Muse-ical Learning. They have been interviewed about their experiences and impressions of this new program. More specifically they have been given questions pertaining to museical, aesthetic, artistic, scholarly learning, sensory experiences, talent and finally how they conceive of the role of muse-ical learning in school and in society at large and what notions they have of their future work as teachers in the field. The first part is an analysis based on selected previous writings and research regarding the concepts muse-ical and aesthetic/esthetical. The approach taken to this reading is mainly hermeneutical. The second part of the thesis aims at describing how a group of student teachers experience museical learning. Data have been gathered by in-depth, semi-structured interviews. The aim of the analysis has been to emphasise qualitative differences in the ways the informants experience the phenomena actualised in the interviews. The approach in the analysis is, mainly, phenomenographic. The group of informants comprise 20 student teachers, which is about half of all students in the pioneer cohort of the program. Every student was interviewed individually in sessions that had a typical duration of 40-45 minutes. The interviews were transcribed in extenso by the author. In a historical perspective the origins of muse-ical can be traced back to antique Greece and the nine muses that were given to mankind by the gods. The ancient Greeks realised that artistic and intellectual activities are mutually dependent on each other. A further function of the muses, to care for the collective, social memory, seems also to have been forgotten in our time. Muse-ical activities also have to be combined with rhythm and harmony to get their ultimate form. This fact reflects the Greek conviction that order is a significant aspect of beauty. (Cosmos). Greeks aimed for a balance between the vivacious and engaging of Dionysus and the more strict and ordered of Apollo. One confusing circumstance in Plato´s texts concerning the word muse-ical is the translation of mousiké to mean music which is the case in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and English. It makes a great difference whether our children are to be fostered in mousiké i.e. the arts of the muses and gymnastics or only in music and gymnastics. My conclusion is that Plato was of the opinion that the young should be fostered in mousiké and gymnastics. The word muse-ical appears in educational contexts during the mid 1920ies in Germany, when the sociologist Hans Freyer introduced the term. Muse-ical education is, in consonance with the ideas from ancient Greece, an integration of poetry, music and rhythmic movements. My conclusion from the theoretical analyses is that the muse-ical domain should be understood as an approach to learning that is based on: • A holistic attitude aiming at a balance between “hand, heart and brain”. • Time for reflection. • Muse-ical activities that give opportunities for applying different forms of expression, e.g. activities that comprise movement, sound, colour, form and drama. • Play is an important component. • The learner is the main actor. • The muse-ical perspective is superordinate to disciplinary categories of knowledge. • The muse-ical perspective should not be translated into a rigorous method. Teachers in all subject matter areas may take a muse-ical approach. Mathematics, history and chemistry for instance are as close to the muse-ical as music or drama. I prefer to regard the aesthetic and muse-ical as two different concepts, although with some overlap in meaning. There are common parts, some aspects are borderline cases and there are also, of course, distinct differences. Already the ancient Greeks stated that literary learning and sensory experience were mutually dependent on each other. The Swedish National Curriculum for the compulsory school also emphasises the importance of balancing these two modes of learning against each other. The results of the empirical study corroborate the conclusions of the theoretical analysis. The students repeatedly emphasise the importance of experience and involvement for the sake of their own learning. They do also stress the importance of connecting theory to practical components. Concerning integration of different areas of muse-ical learning there are different standpoints among the authors that I have referred to. The students’ arguments in favour of finding a common framework for all aesthetic areas are basically that they contain common creative aspects and that they all involve bodily and emotional aspects of learning. The students emphasise, in particular, two positive aspects of the aesthetic areas and muse-ical learning. Firstly, they have a general, facilitating impact on learning regardless of context and content. Secondly, they may contribute significantly to the students’ self-confidence and thereby give them the courage to enter new areas and aim for higher goals than otherwise. A majority of muse-ical activities take place in social settings, which gives rich opportunities for the students to train their social skills. Even though it has been a demanding task to express the essence of muse-ical learning, theoretically as well as empirically, one may perhaps be comforted by realising that the magic of museical learning might disappear were it possible to define it in a distinct way.

L'observation d'alterations de la fonction myocardique associees au diabete nous a conduits a analyser les effets de cette pathologie, induite experimentalement, sur des transporteurs d'ions calcium (ca 2 +) et sodium (na +), deux ions majeurs qui influencent a la fois le decours de l'activite electrique cellulaire cardiaque, et, directement (pour ca 2 +) ou indirectement (pour na +), la fonction contractile des myocytes. Dans la premiere partie de ce travail, nous avons enregistre, dans des cardiomyocytes de rats, le courant genere par l'echangeur na +/ca 2 + (i n a - c a) et le courant calcique i c a l. Nous avons pour ce faire utilise une methode d'enregistrement qui ne modifie pas le pouvoir tampon calcique intracellulaire, a savoir la technique de patchclamp en configuration patch perfore, par la nystatine. Le principal resultat de cette partie de notre etude est que la densite du courant d'echange i n a - c a (active par i c a l ou par l'application de cafeine) et la densite du courant calcique i c a l, sont diminuees dans les cardiomyocytes de rats diabetiques. La diminution de i c a l pourrait contribuer a diminuer le calcium -induced calcium release et par consequent l'activation de l'echangeur na + -ca 2 +. La diminution de i n a - c a pourrait resulter d'une moindre charge calcique du reticulum sarcoplasmique, comme semble l'indiquer le ralentissement de l'inactivation de i c a l. Nos resultats contribuent ainsi a expliquer la diminution d'amplitude de la variation transitoire calcique precedemment decrite chez les diabetiques et ses consequences sur l'activite contractile du myocarde. Abstrakt Syftet med vår undersökning var att studera ICAs reklamfilmer ur ett genusperspektiv. Vi har specificerat oss på om det manliga eller kvinnliga könet framkommer mer eller mindre i filmerna, om det har skett någon förändring kring genusperspektivet från år 2006 till 2016, samt om varorna som finns med i filmerna är mer eller mindre riktade till något av könen. Frågeställning: <ul type="disc">Hur framställs kvinnor respektive män i Icas reklamfilmer? Har det skett någon förändring från år 2006 till 2016? Är varorna som visas i reklamfilmerna avsedda för kvinnor, män eller båda? Vi har utgått från teorier som vi anser är relevanta för vår undersökning. Vi har delat in teorierna i tre olika områden: Genus Medier och identitet Reklam och media. För att genomföra undersökningen har vi gjort en kvantitativ innehållsanalys på 15 olika reklamfilmer. Vi har avgränsat oss till reklamfilmer som har visats på TV under tre olika högtider i Sverige: jul, midsommar och påsk. Vi har sedan gjort en kvalitativ innehållsanalys på fem filmer som vi anser lockar fram olika stereotyper. Resultatet vi fann i vår undersökning var att männen dominerar i ICAs reklamfilmer, och med det menar vi att det bland annat är fler manliga karaktärer som är med och har en slags ledarroll. Vårt resultat skiljer sig något mot vad teorierna kring ämnet påstår, nämligen att kvinnor ofta dominerar reklambranschen.<br>Abstract The purpose of our survey was to study the gender perspective in ICA's commercials. We have specified whether the male or female gender appears more or less in the movies, if there has been any change in gender perspective from 2006 to 2016 and if the items featured in the movies are more or less directed to any of the sexes. We have limited ourselves to commercials that have been shown on television during three different festivals in Sweden: Christmas, Midsummer and Easter. Question: <ul type="disc">How are women and men produced in Ica's commercials? Has there been any change from 2006 to 2016? Are the items shown in the commercials intended for women, men or both? We have assumed theories that we consider relevant to our survey. We have divided the theories into three different areas: Gender Media and identity Advertising and the media. In order to conduct the survey, we have made a quantitative content analysis of 15 different commercials. We have limited ourselves to commercials that have been shown on television during three different festivals in Sweden: Christmas, Midsummer and Easter. We have then made a qualitative content analysis on five films that we consider attracting different stereotypes. The result we found in our survey was that the men dominate ICA's commercials, and we mean that among other things there are more male characters that are in and have a sort of leadership role. Our results differ slightly from the theory of the subject, namely that women often dominate the advertising industry.

The purpose of my thesis is to study the lament in ancient Greek culture, and to show how its ritual meaning is interpreted by literature. The terms goos, oimoge, threnos and linos not only indicate the presence of different ritual attitudes to death but also the existence of different interpretations for each of them. The goos and the oimoge mirror an archaic religiosity and consist of sinister utterances aimed at summoning ghosts, requesting for divine revenge, etc. Aeschylus introduces them as aischrologic acts as he implies the presence of a god or a daimon. Sophocles and Euripides use them as dysphemic elements and censure an approach to death which implies that gods are vindictive, deceitful and unjust. However, they also introduce an euphemic goos consisting in an expression of feelings. The threnos only appears in funerary contexts in Homer while is often introduced as dysphemic in drama. The linos-song is mentioned as a vintage-song in Homer, it appears as a lament and then as a song for some hero’s apotheosis or return to life in drama. The poetic use of these terms serves to understand how the social and political meaning of the ritual was understood and codified by literature.

Folksägner, historier och sagor har länge gett olika djur mänskliga attribut och gestaltat djuren på ett människoliknande sätt. Vargen är inget undantag och återges allt som oftast på ett negativt sätt. Kan dessa erfarenheter av vargen från sagornas värld drabba hur elever tänker om vargen och dess roll i ett ekosystem och samspelet med andra organismer? Undersökningens syfte är att belysa elevers tankar attityder om vargen samt hur de placerar in dess roll i ett ekosystem med ett jämförande förhållningssätt mellan elever från stadsmiljö och landsbygdsmiljö. En reviderad klinisk intervjumetod i grupp har använts för att uppnå syftet med studien. Totalt har 18 elever deltagit, varav fem från landsbygden och 12 elever från stadsmiljö. Undersökningen visar att eleverna från stadsmiljö har en negativ attityd till vargen, vilket skiljer sig från eleverna från landsbygden som har en positiv alternativt neutral attityd till varg. Eleverna från de båda geografiskt skilda områdena beskriver vargens roll i ett ekosystem ur ett antropocentriskt och teleologiskt synsätt i ungefär lika stor utsträckning.<br>For many years folklore, stories and fairy tales have been giving animals human attributes and elaborated the animals in a human-like way. The wolf is no exception and is often reproduced in a negative way. Can these experiences of the wolf from the selection of fairy tales affect how pupils think about the wolf and its role in an ecosystem? And furthermore, can it affect how the pupils understand how the wolf interacts with other organisms? With a comparative approach between pupils from urban and rural environments, the purpose of the study is to elucidate thoughts and attitudes toward the wolf and to emphasize how pupils place the wolf and its role in an ecosystem. A revised clinical group interview method has been used to achieve the purpose of the study. In total, 18 pupils participated, five of them from the countryside and 12 pupils from a city. The survey shows that pupils from the urban environment have a negative attitude toward the wolf, which differs from the pupils from rural areas, who have a positive, alternatively neutral attitude towards the wolf. The pupils from both urban and rural environments describe the role of the wolf in an ecosystem in an anthropocentric and teleological approach to an approximately equal extent.

De handlare som ingick i studien driver butiker i Uppsalaområdet. Utifrån relationsteorier om engagemang och förtroende utformades och genomfördes intervjuer med ICA-handlare. Informationen från intervjuerna användes för att uppfylla studiens syfte och besvara frågeställningen. Studien visar att ICA-handlare som driver butiker inom profilerna Nära- och Supermarkets relation till ICA AB är bra.

Idag finns det begränsade teorier som behandlar det postmoderna konsumtionssamhället utifrån ett medie- och kommunikationsvetenskaligt perspektiv. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka spänningsfältet mellan ICA och högskolestudenter i ett konsumtionssamhälle genom att granska varumärkeskommunikationens betydelse på digitala plattformar. Materialinsamlingen är genomförd i form av kvalitativa intervjuer, med medarbetare på ICA, samt fokusgrupper med studenter. Med studien vill vi ge en inblick i hur kommunikationsprocesser strategiskt utformas för att nå rätt målgrupp, hur relationer vårdas och vad en god dialog innebär och har för framtida betydelser. Studien har analyserat det spänningsfält som ligger i grund till valet av konsumtion gällande matvaruhandel som högskolestudent. Studiens slutsatser visar på att det är en rad olika faktorer som är bidragande till att bygga upp en stark relation med ett företag.<br>Today there is limited theories considering reasearch on the postmodern consumtion society from a media and communication perspective. The purpose with this thesis is to investigate the tension between ICA and Univeristy students in a consumption society through analysis brandbuilding communications meaning on digital platforms. The material to the thesis is collected by qualitative interviews, both with employees at ICA and focus groups with university students. With this thesis we want to give an insight of how communication processes strategically is designed to reach their target group, how relationships are nurtured and what a good dialogue means for future brand building. The study has analyzed the tension of what includes the choice of consumption when it comes to retail business from university students perspective. The conclusions indicate how there are a number of factors that are contributing to build a strong relationship with an organization.

In today's society the use of mobile phones is part of most peoples everyday life. Phone service providers want to provide an efficient, reliable, secure and safe phone service experience for their users. Ericsson has developed a load test to test their products in order to ensure the highest quality. An important part to achieve a safe and efficient user experience is to have some mechanism for blocking material and providing dynamic material based on a users location. In this report an implementation of is described. ICAP is a protocol developed for just this purpose. ICAP is able to block unwanted content and provide dynamic adaptation based on a users location. This thesis aims to present an implementation of ICAP for the load test tool in order to provide testing of telecommmunication functionality during high load.

In the past few years, the study of electrical activity in the brain and its interactions with the body has become popular among researchers. One of the hottest topics related to brain activity is the epileptic seizure prediction. Currently, there are several techniques on how to predict a seizure; however, most of the techniques found in research papers are just mathematical models and not system implementations. The seizure prediction approach proposed in this thesis paper is achieved using the EMOTIV Epoc+ headset, MATLAB, and LabVIEW as the analog and digital signal processing devices. In addition, this thesis project incorporates the use of the Hilbert Huang transform (HHT) method to obtain intrinsic mode functions (IMF) and instantaneous frequency components of the transform. From the IMFs, features as variation coefficient (VC) and fluctuation indexes (FI) are extracted to feed a support vector machine that classifies the EEG data as pre-ictal and non-ictal EEGs. Outstanding patterns in non-ictal and pre-ictal are observed and demonstrated by significant differences between both types of EEG signals. In other words, a classification of EEG signals according to a category can be achieved proving that an epileptic seizure prediction technology has a future in engineering and biotechnology fields.

Staphylococcus aureus destaca-se como principal micro-organismo associado à mastite bovina contagiosa, sendo que as infecções crônicas podem ser causadas pelo crescimento bacteriano na forma de biofilmes, o que pode estar associado à persistência desta bactéria na glândula mamária e à resistência a diversos antimicrobianos. Estudos epidemiológicos empregando técnicas como a macrorestrição seguida de eletroforese em campo pulsado (PFGE) têm sido realizados, com a finalidade de identificar clones e caracterizar as infecções por S. aureus. Os objetivos deste estudo foram: avaliar a frequência de isolamento de S. aureus em amostras de leite colhidas periodicamente em um grupo de propriedades leiteiras do Vale do Taquari, RS; avaliar o perfil de suscetibilidade aos antimicrobianos dos isolados de S. aureus identificados; classificar esses isolados em grupos clonais; avaliar a distribuição e a permanência dos grupos clonais nas propriedades leiteiras ao longo do tempo, além de verificar a presença de genes relacionados à formação de biofilmes (icaA e icaD). Foram colhidas amostras de leite de todas as vacas em lactação de 21 propriedades, amostradas semestralmente durante dois anos, totalizando 1060 amostras. A presença de S. aureus nas amostras foi detectada por isolamento e a identificação foi realizada de acordo com o National Mastitis Council. Isolados confirmados foram testados, pela técnica de disco difusão em ágar, quanto à suscetibilidade frente a treze antimicrobianos. Os isolados também foram submetidos à macrorrestrição do DNA total – PFGE e posteriormente testados pela PCR para detecção dos genes icaA e icaD. Das 1060 amostras avaliadas, 395 não apresentaram crescimento bacteriano. Staphylococcus sp. coagulase negativa foram identificados em 262 amostras, seguido de 136 amostras em que identificou-se S. aureus. A frequência de isolamento de S. aureus variou de 3,45% a 70,59% nas 17 propriedades em que este agente estava presente. No teste de suscetibilidade aos antimicrobianos, a maioria (75,7%) dos 132 isolados testados apresentaram perfil de sensibilidade, sendo a resistência mais frequente à penicilina (18,2%) e ampicilina (14,4%). Em apenas 27,3% dos isolados detectou-se os genes associados à formação de biofilmes pesquisados, sendo o gene icaD o mais prevalente, seguido da presença de ambos os genes. Os 122 isolados clivados pela enzima SmaI e submetidos à PFGE foram classificados em 38 grupos clonais. Observaram-se poucos grupos clonais persistentes, pois somente seis foram descritos consecutivamente em pelo menos duas coletas. O grupo clonal 16 foi o mais prevantente, apresentando isolados em uma mesma propriedade ao longo de dois anos. Conclui-se que Staphylococcus aureus está presente na glândula mamária de bovinos em lactação em pequenas propriedades da região. Esses isolados apresentam baixa frequência de resistência aos antimicrobianos. Há uma grande variabilidade de pulsotipos entre os isolados presentes nessas propriedades, porém poucos grupos clonais persistem nas propriedades amostradas. Não foi possível associar a permanência dos grupos clonais nos rebanhos à presença dos genes icaA e icaD ou ao perfil de resistência a antimicrobianos.<br>Staphylococcus aureus stands out as the main microorganism associated with bovine contagious mastitis, whereas chronic infections can be caused by bacterial growth in the form of biofilms, which can be associated with the persistence of the bacteria in the mammary gland and resistance to various antibiotics. Epidemiological studies employing techniques such as macrorestriction followed by pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) have been carried out, aiming to identify clones and characterize S. aureus infections. The objectives of this study were: to assess the frequency of S. aureus isolation in milk samples collected periodically in a group of dairy farms from Taquari Valley, RS; evaluate the profile of antimicrobial susceptibility of S. aureus identified isolates; classify these isolates in clonal groups; assess the distribution and retention of clonal groups in dairy herds over time and to verify the presence of genes related to biofilm formation (icaA and icaD). Milk samples were collected from all lactating cows from 21 properties that were sampled every six months for two years, totaling 1060 samples. The presence of S. aureus in the samples was detected by isolation and the identification was performed according to National Mastitis Council. Confirmed isolates were tested for susceptibility to thirteen antimicrobial by disk diffusion technique in agar. The isolates also underwent macro-restriction of total DNA - PFGE and were subsequently tested by PCR for detection of genes icaA and icaD. Of the 1060 samples tested, 395 showed no bacterial growth. Staphylococcus sp. coagulase-negative samples were identified at 262, followed by 136 samples in which S. aureus was identified. The frequency of isolation of S. aureus ranged from 3.45% to 70.59% in 17 properties wherein this agent was present. In antimicrobial susceptibility testing, the majority (75.7%) of the 132 isolates tested showed sensitivity profile, being most frequent resistance to penicillin (18.2%) and ampicillin (14.4%). In only 27.3% of the isolates were detected genes associated with biofilm formation surveyed and icaD was the most prevalent, followed by the presence of both genes. The 122 isolates cleaved by SmaI and submitted for PFGE were classified into 38 clonal groups. There were few persistent clonal groups, because only six groups were described consecutively in at least two collections. The clonal group 16 was the most prevalent, presenting isolates at the same property over two years. Is conclusive that Staphylococcus aureus is present in the mammary gland of lactating cattle on small farms in the region. These isolates have low frequency of antimicrobial resistance. There is great variability of pulsotypes among isolates in those properties, but few clonal groups persist in the sampled properties. It was not possible to associate the permanence of clonal groups in herds to the presence of icaA and icaD or to the profile of antimicrobial resistance.

The focus of investigation of this thesis is to find out what actual happens in some situations in ordinary kitchens. Specific interest is showed for the articulation work, while most smart appliances of today supports only goal-oriented activity, hence evolved from the ground of the home PC interaction. The ethnographical investigation is focused on three specific events in a house hold which all are assumed to take place in the families kitchen. In the midst of stiff and fierce competition and increased number of grocery retail outlets providing a variety of products, customers have become accustomed to patronizing multiple outlets. Retailers have recognized this trend and are of the view that customer satisfaction plays a role in the success of business strategies. Therefore it has become important for grocery retail stores to try and manage customer satisfaction. This paper was thus developed to investigate the satisfaction levels of customers in supermarkets. Data was collected from three supermarkets in Visby, Gotland. The study examined the importance of overall dimensions and specific elements of customer satisfaction towards the measurement of satisfaction levels. In addition, comparative analysis was conducted between the three relative grocery stores. Customer satisfaction levels were measured. The highest percentage of customers of the whole sample belonged to medium level of satisfaction. The statistical result concluded that customers of ICA Nära and customers of ICA were higher satisfied than those of Coop Forum. The results showed that customers felt satisfied with Location, Staff courtesy and Reliability of supermarkets as the top aspects that drive satisfaction while additional services were ranked lowest. Due to these results, the impact of these attributes on Customer satisfaction must not be underestimated.

I textanalysen utgick vi ifrån semiotiska och retoriska begrepp för att se meningen som texterna skapar. Resultat visar att ICA använder samhällsengagemang som ett kommunikationsverktyg och strategi. Resultat visar även att ICA använder fem olika dimensioner av nytta, positiv och negativ emotionell nytta, värde för pengarna, sociala livet samt funktionaliteten, i marknadsföringen av det ekologiska sortimentet.

We are constantly being fed information. Everything and everyone we come into contact with may somehow make a new impression on us, whether we are aware of it or not. One of the ways that people in today’s society in Sweden are being given information is via different types of media, for example through commercials. Whether it’s a video clip or a still-frame picture, a commercial is an effective way for a company to reach out to potential customers. However, it is not only the messages or signals that may appear obvious that these companies send out when advertising with commercials. When taking a closer look at a commercial, it becomes clear that these pictures or video clips may make more impressions than it may first appear. Commercials mirror the society that we are living in, yet at the same time they send out signals about what the society could be like. Creating expectations, longing and ideals; commercials have a larger impact on their public than it may first seem. In this essay we have chosen to focus on two Swedish brands: the grocery store Ica and the clothing brand Hennes & Mautriz (H&M). Focusing on three different time periods – the 1990’s, 2000’s and 2010’s – we have studied the development of these two companies commercials and analyzed what possible messages these commercials send out. Our main focus has been to study these brands from a gender critical perspective and analyzing how men and women are portrayed, comparing differences and similarities.

The aim with this essay is to map down how the language plays a part in the persuasion carried out by ICA-Stig – one of the most beloved characters from ICA’s commercial soap opera. Through a discourse analysis with a linguistic focus this study can provide one explanation to why the audience trust ICA-Stig and how he persuades them to do their grocery shopping at ICA. The study takes off from the rhetorical means of persuasion, ethos, logos and pathos, along with how ICA-Stig commits a linguistic intimisation and exploits intertextual strategies in order to approach the audience and their reality. The result shows that Stig uses personal pronouns in a way that enables him to commence intimisation in the sense of addressing his co-workers and the audience in a family-like manner. Regarding intertextuality, Stig uses a composition of different discourses in favour of his character since he is able to reach a large audience whilst nourishing the personal touch, combined with proving himself credible. Through his language, ICA-Stig reduces the gap between non-fiction and fiction, and in his transcendent role he becomes a factive character – neither real nor fictive. This role allows him to become self-aware, which gives him an outside perspective on commercials in general. From a rhetorical perspective, the intimisation and intertextuality function as to have ICA-Stig relate to the reality, habits, and experiences of the audience. This creates the situation that Daddy-ICA has something to say to his ICA-family, which becomes the premise on which the commercial is founded. The intimisation enhances ICA-Stig’s ethos since he can prove to be a caring father and a knowledgeable shop manager. The appeals to pathos lie within his caring language. Appeals to logos can be found in the product placement of the groceries in an environment very much reminiscent of reality and everyday-life. Finally, the essay problematises the role commercial has and plays in today’s society due to the fact that this discourse is approaching the discourse of private life and communication, which, in turn, paves the way for new ways of persuading the costumers.<br>Syftet med detta arbete är att genom en diskursanalys kartlägga hur språkbruket fungerar i övertalningen hos ICA-Stig ‒ en av de mest folkkära karaktärerna från ICA:s reklamsåpa. Med språket som utgångspunkt kan denna analys bidra till förklaringen varför tv-tittarna litar på ICA-Stig och hur han får dem att vilja handla på just ICA. Studien tar avstamp i tre utgångspunkter där retorikens medel för övertalning, ethos, logos och pathos, tas i beaktande jämte hur ICA-Stig begår en språklig intimisering med tittarna, samt utnyttjar intertextuella strategier för att närma sig deras verklighet. Resultatet visar att ICA-Stig tillämpar intimisering genom att bruka pronomen på ett sådant sätt att såväl tittare som medarbetare tilltalas familjärt. Intertextuellt kan ICA-Stig sägas utnyttja olika diskursmöten till sin fördel för att samtidigt nå en bred kundkrets och värna det intima, samt visa på sin trovärdighet. Genom språket tänjer han på gränserna mellan fiktion och fakta, och kan i sin diegesöverskridande roll sägas vara en faktiv karaktär ‒ varken overklig eller verklig. Faktionen gör det möjligt för ICA-Stig att visa självmedvetenhet, vilket ger distans till reklambranschen. Retoriskt sett, har intimiseringen och intertextualiteten funktionen av att låta Stig anknyta till publikens verklighet, vanor och erfarenheter. Det skapar förutsättningar så att reklamen grundas på premissen att Pappa ICA-Stig har något att berätta för sin ICA-familj. Intimiseringen ger ICA-Stig ethos eftersom han bevisar att han är en trygg och vårdande fadersgestalt, såväl som kunnig butikschef. Anspelningar till pathos finns i hans vårdande språkbruk. Logosargumenten ligger i varornas produktplacering i en verklighetsnära vardagsmiljö. Avslutningsvis problematiserar uppsatsen reklamens plats och funktion i samhället utifrån det faktum att reklamens diskurs närmar sig privatlivets diskurs och på så sätt dels kan påverka konsumenterna på helt andra sätt, dels bli en än större del i samhället och dess vardag.

<p>Idag råder en hälsotrend vilket har lett till att det efterfrågas mer hälsosamma livsmedel än tidigare och detta skapar nya möjligheter för livsmedelsföretagen. Ica är den första livsmedelskedjan som har pågående hälsotrenden. Detta arbete beskriver hur Ica har tagit fram Gott liv och hur Ica har gått tillväga för att skapa en medvetenhet kring dessa produkter. Dessutom redogör arbetet för om budskapet har nått fram till konsumenterna, om det stimulerar dem till köp samt hur de uppfattar Gott liv. Arbetet grundar sig på en intervju med Icas dietist Christina Karlsson samt en konsumentundersökning med 100 deltagande konsumenter. Vårt resultat visar att det finns en hög medvetenhet kring Gott liv samt höga köpintentioner bland konsumenterna. Det är dock många av de tillfrågade konsumenterna som inte har provat produkterna än och därmed behöver konsumenterna troligtvis stimuleras till köp.</p>

Absence seizures in Childhood Absence Epilepsy (CAE) are 5 10 second episodes of impaired consciousness that are characterized on electroencephalography (EEG) by frontally-predominant, 3 4 Hz spike and wave discharges (SWD). The aims of this study were to use simultaneous EEG, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and behavioral testing to identify the neural networks involved in absence seizures as well as to examine the timecourse of those ictal fMRI changes. It was hypothesized that absence seizures involve wide-reaching neural networks including the areas traditionally associated with normal attention processing and that absence seizures produce fMRI signal changes not only during the seizure, but before and after it as well. In this study, we recorded 88 absence seizures from a cohort of 42 children with pure CAE. These seizures were recorded as subjects participated in simultaneous EEG-fMRI scanning while engaged in a continuous performance task (CPT) of attentional vigilance or a repetitive tapping task (RTT) requiring repetitive motor activity. Using a novel, voxel-based percent fMRI change analysis combined with a volume of interest analysis, the second-by-second fMRI signal timecourse of the absence seizures were examined across numerous brain regions of interest, from 20 seconds before seizure onset through 40 seconds after seizure onset. EEG frequency analysis revealed seizures with a mean duration of 6.6 seconds and an abrupt onset and ending that were comprised of frontally-predominant, 3 4 Hz SWD. Ictal behavioral testing demonstrated abrupt onset of impairments during periods of SWD. These behavioral impairments were typical of CAE absence seizures in that impairments were greater in the CPT of attentional vigilance (omission error rate, OER = 81%) than in RTT testing (OER = 39 %) (p < 0.003). The ictal fMRI changes we observed varied depending upon the method of fMRI signal analysis used. Using the traditional general liner model, and assuming the standard hemodynamic response (HRF) function, this study replicated results consistent with previous ictal absence fMRI studies showing ictal activations primarily in the thalamus and ictal deactivations in traditional default mode areas. Using a more data-driven, novel voxel-based fMRI percentage change analysis to examine the ictal fMRI timecourse on a second-by-second basis, both ictally as well as pre- and post- ictally, this study, however, demonstrated ictal involvement of diverse brain regions before, during, and after the seizure. Activation was demonstrated up to 16 seconds before seizure onset, starting first in the parietal and orbital-medial frontal cortices and progressing to lateral frontal and lateral temporal cortices followed by the occipital and Rolandic cortices and finally the thalamus. Deactivation followed a similar anatomic progression and lasted up to 17 seconds after the end of SWD. These findings reveal a complex and long-lasting sequence of fMRI changes in CAE absence seizures that are not detectable by conventional HRF modeling and are important in the understanding and eventual treatment of absence seizures associated with CAE.

The aim of this doctoral research project was to capture and characterize nystagmus occurring during episodes of vertigo (ictally) by patient-initiated video oculography (VOG), which could help pinpoint the underlying diagnosis. Viewing a patient’s eyes whilst dizzy is a difficult diagnostic task as vertigo may occur at home, and may be significantly reduced by the time a patient presents to a hospital or clinic. Patients with recurrent vertigo were taught to self-record ictal nystagmus using a small, portable VOG device. All underwent history, neurological examination, audiometry, semicircular canal, and otolith function tests as standard of care. In the first study of 117 patients with episodic vertigo, 100% of patients with Ménière’s Disease (MD) and 65.7% of patients with Vestibular Migraine (VM) demonstrated ictal spontaneous nystagmus; high velocity and horizontal (93.0%) in MD (median slow-phase velocity (SPV) 39.7°/s), and lower-velocity, directionally diverse in VM (median SPV 4.9°/s). An SPV >12.05°/s had a sensitivity and specificity of 95.3% and 82.1% for MD. Nystagmus direction-change in the same attack was highly specific for MD (95.7%), as was vertical nystagmus for VM (93.0%). A composite score >3 in nine audiovestibular metrics correctly differentiated MD from VM with a sensitivity and specificity of 95.7% and 95.0%. In cases of positional vertigo, a time-constant <47.3 s separated Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) from MD and VM with a sensitivity of 100% and specificity of 77.8%. Among 102 healthy controls, 30.4% showed very low velocity spontaneous nystagmus and 70.6% had positional nystagmus. The ictal nystagmus characteristics of uncommon presentations of vertigo are also presented. This thesis provides a framework showing that event-monitoring has the potential to assist in early separation of VM and MD in cases of episodic spontaneous vertigo, and BPPV from other causes of positional vertigo. The findings of our studies may hasten diagnosis, improve its accuracy, and guide targeted treatment resulting in better patient outcomes.

en los contactos del nuevo empresario que en propias capacidades. Por el contrario, si las
regulaciones son fáciles de cumplir y accesibles, cualquier persona con talento y buenas
ideas puede ser capaz de crear y desarrollar una empresa formal. En ese sentido, el presente
trabajo de investigación cuantitativa descriptiva tiene como objetivo identificar la brecha de
tiempo y costo entre los procesos normados (estudio de gabinete), lo que sucede en la
realidad (entrevistas) y medir la facilidad para hacer negocios en la ciudad de Ica. Para tal
fin, se revisó la documentación pública vigente y se comparó con las entrevistas a
empresarios, representantes de instituciones públicas de la ciudad de Ica para obtener las
brechas de tiempo y costo de cada proceso. La metodología utilizada fue la del Banco
Mundial Doing Business del cual se tomó los siguientes pilares de estudio, cuyo resultado
obtenido para iniciar un negocio en la ciudad de Ica fueron: a) apertura de empresa: tiene
que cumplir 16 procedimientos, toma 128 días , cuesta 20.02 % del ingreso per cápita,

<p>”One-to-one marketing” är en marknadsföringsidé där relationen mellan kund och leverantör står i fokus. Den kunskap om en specifik kund som leverantören får via relationen kan användas för att utforma erbjudanden anpassade för just den kunden. Erbjudandena är ämnade att påverka relationen positivt och göra kunden lojal till leverantören. Nya tekniska hjälpmedel har medfört att information om kundens preferenser kan lagras och bearbetas för att därefter användas till att utforma dessaerbjudanden. ”One-to-one marketing” är dock förknippat med vissa svårigheter och problem. Ett specialanpassat erbjudande kan uppfattas felaktigt och integritetskränkande mot kunden och på såsätt påverka relationen negativt. Vi har studerat ICAs ”One-to-one marketing”-kampanj ”Mina varor” för att se huruvida denna stärker relationen till ICAs stamkunder eller om kampanjen inverkat negativt på relationen.Vi har utifrån en enkätundersökning kommit fram till att vårt urval av respondenter främst haft åsikter om utformningen av rabatterna. De problem som uppfattats av stamkunderna i denna undersökning har främst varit relaterade till att rabatterna uppfattats som konstiga och inte representativa.Uppsatsen indikerar på att detta bör förbättras för att kampanjen ska bli mer effektiv. Integritetsproblemet kommenterades endast av ett fåtal respondenter och har i denna uppsats inte visat sig som ett stort problem. Inga stora risker att relationen har försämrats med stamkunderna kan ses och undersökningen visade generellt positiva svar för ICAs del. Kampanjen kan dock förbättras genom mer representativa personliga rabatter samt att ICA med ytterligare dialog kan binda lojala kunder starkaretill relationen.</p>

Cette thèse concerne la conception d'une interface conversationnelle pour les agents assistants personnels. Ce travail s'inscrit dans un processus de développement d'un modèle générique d'agent assistant personnel. Après avoir examiné les divers types d'interfaces utilisées par des agents assistants, nous avons conclu que les interfaces conversationnelles étaient particulièrement bien adaptées à nos besoins. Cette thèse est donc focalisée sur la définition et la conception d'une interface conversationnelle pour un agent assistant, en tenant compte de plusieurs contraintes et hypothèses liées à l'agent lui-même, à son pilotage et à la nature du rapport utilisateur-agent, mais aussi aux caractéristiques des applications potentielles. Nous estimons qu'une interface conversationnelle spécialement conçue pour l'agent assistant, simplifiera son pilotage, entraînant une amélioration de la qualité de l'aide apportée par rapport aux interfaces classiques purement graphiques. Ceci diminuera la charge cognitive de l'utilisateur, puisque le travail d'interprétation et reconnaissance des intentions de ce dernier devient de responsabilité de la machine. Nous postulons aussi que le comportement intelligent de l'agent peut contribuer à l'amélioration de la performance liée à une telle interface, grâce à une politique d'affichage d'informations. De notre travail est né le concept d'interface conversationnelle pour une aide intelligente - ICAI. Une interface conversationnelle pour une aide intelligente est le résultat de la conjonction d'un mécanisme conversationnel en langage naturel parlé et de la gestion intelligente de ce mécanisme, permettant le déroulement d'un dialogue coopératif, et capable de gérer le déclenchement de plusieurs tâches à la demande de l'utilisateur, tout en n'exigeant qu'un minimum d'effort de la part de ce dernier. This Thesis addresses the problem of automated false-positive free detection of epileptic events by the fusion of information extracted from simultaneously recorded electro-encephalographic (EEG) and the electrocardiographic (ECG) time-series. The approach relies on a biomedical case for the coupling of the Brain and Heart systems through the central autonomic network during temporal lobe epileptic events: neurovegetative manifestations associated with temporal lobe epileptic events consist of alterations to the cardiac rhythm. From a neurophysiological perspective, epileptic episodes are characterised by a loss of complexity of the state of the brain. The description of arrhythmias, from a probabilistic perspective, observed during temporal lobe epileptic events and the description of the complexity of the state of the brain, from an information theory perspective, are integrated in a fusion-of-information framework towards temporal lobe epileptic seizure detection. The main contributions of the Thesis include the introduction of a biomedical case for the coupling of the Brain and Heart systems during temporal lobe epileptic seizures, partially reported in the clinical literature; the investigation of measures for the characterisation of ictal events from the EEG time series towards their integration in a fusion-of-knowledge framework; the probabilistic description of arrhythmias observed during temporal lobe epileptic events towards their integration in a fusion-of-knowledge framework; and the investigation of the different levels of the fusion-of-information architecture at which to perform the combination of information extracted from the EEG and ECG time-series. The performance of the method designed in the Thesis for the false-positive free automated detection of epileptic events achieved a false-positives rate of zero on the dataset of long-term recordings used in the Thesis.

A doença caracteriza-se por processo inflamatório de resposta complexa e dano tissular envolvendo várias células do sistema imune e mediadores inflamatórios diretamente relacionados ao endotélio vascular. Objetivos: Este estudo se propõe a determinar os níveis séricos do marcador de ativação endotelial
ICAM-1 solúvel nas formas clínicas polares da hanseníase, comparando-a com grupo controle. Casuística e Métodos: Foi realizado estudo prospectivo e transversal no ambulatório de dermatologia do Hospital Escola Dr. José Carneiro – UNCISAL no período de agosto de 2005 a agosto de 2006. Foram incluídos 28 pacientes e classificados em tuberculóides (MHT) 12 pacientes e, lepromatosos (MHL) 16 pacientes de acordo com os critérios da Organização Mundial de Saúde e exame histopatológico conforme os critérios de Ridley-Jopling. O grupo controle foi constituído por doadores voluntários saudáveis. Na avaliação laboratorial foi utilizado

modelo ANOVA, foi diferente nos três grupos de pacientes (p<0,001) Através do
procedimento de comparações múltiplas de Tukey, concluiu-se que a média no grupo MHL é maior do que nos outros dois grupos (p<0,05), entretanto, não foi detectada diferença entre as médias dos grupos controle e MHT (p>0,05). Conclusões: Os níveis de ICAM-1 foram comparativamente mais elevados no grupo MHL que no grupo MHT ou controle. Não houve diferença significativa entre o grupo
controle e o grupo MHT.<br>Introduction: Hansen’s disease is a systemic infectious disease with chronic evolution, endemic to Brazil. In 2005, there was a coefficient of prevalence of 1,48 cases per 10,000 inhabitants. Between 30 and 50,000 new cases are diagnosed per year, representing a problem for public health because of the permanent physical
incapacitation. The disease presents an inflammatory process of complex response and tissue damage involving several cells of the immune system and the inflammatory mediators directly related to the vascular endothelium. Objectives: The objective of the present study is to determine the seric levels of the endothelial activation soluble marker ICAM-1 in the polar clinical forms of Hansen’s disease, in comparison to a control group. Methods: A prospective and transversal study was performed at the dermatology out-patient clinic at the Hospital Escola Dr. José Carneiro – UNICISAL, in the period between August of 2005 and August of 2006. 28 patients were included and classified under tuberculoid (MHT) and lepromatous (MHL) according to the criteria of the World Health Organization and exams based on Ridley-Jopling’s criteria. The control group was formed by healthy voluntary donors. An sICAM-1 R&D Systems, Inc. set was used in the laboratory tests, with the ELISA technique. Variance Analysis (ANOVA), Qui-square, Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, variance homogeneity and Tukey multiple comparisons tests were used the statistical analysis. Results: The age of the patients was 45,9 ± 17,3 and for the individuals in the control group it was 48,3 ± 9,3. There were 16 women (57.17%) and 12 men (42.85%) and in the individuals in the control group 21 were women (87.5%) and 03 were men (12.5%). The concentration of ICAM-1, according to the ANOVA model, was different in the three groups of patients
(p<0.001). Through the multiple comparisons Tukey procedure, we concluded that the average in the MHL group was higher than in the other two groups (p<0.05); however, no difference was detected among the averages in the control group and the MHT (p>0.05). Conclusion: The ICAM-1 levels were comparatively higher in the MHL group than in the MHT or in the control group. There was no significant difference between

Syftet med detta arbete var att få en djupare förståelse för vad som motiverar ICA-handlare, vilka risker och utmaningar som finns i en organisation som ICA med flera lokala ägare och chefer, samt hur man hanterar dessa. Detta är gjort ur ett perspektiv baserat på teorier gällande motivation och incitament hos individer inom en organisation. Våra slutsatser är att ICA-handlare drivs av både intern och extern motivation i olika delar av deras karriär, samt av olika grader av makt och viljan att åstadkomma. Vi ser också att lokala chefer kan ha mål och incitament som står i konflikt med organisationens övergripande mål. Vi kommer också fram till hur man kan förebygga och hantera situationen som uppkommer då ledare blir alltför bekväma i sitt agerande och inte längre bidrar på bästa sätt.

“A mediados del siglo XIX en el Perú habían sembradas alrededor de 150 000.00 hectáreas de vid destinadas a la producción de Pisco. Este nivel de producción fue disminuyendo paulatinamente hasta llegar a las 11500.00 hectáreas cultivadas en el año 2002, por falta de incentivos y substitución de cultivos por otros más rentables a corto plazo.”1 Habiéndose constatado esta realidad, en el 2003 el gobierno peruano decidió promocionar el incremento de las áreas de cultivo de la vid y su exportación. El esfuerzo del gobierno y de los empresarios vitivinícolas ha llevado a que hoy existan normas y reglamentos para la producción del Pisco, que exista la denominación de su origen, y que las exportaciones desde el 2007 hayan aumentando considerablemente. Esto ha generado al día de hoy que podamos decir que el éxito del Pisco a nivel mundial está llevando al Perú al inicio de una revolución vitivinícola. Sin embargo, este éxito no se ve reflejado en la infraestructura del producto, en sus bodegas, su arquitectura e imagen. En estos aspectos pareciera que aún no salimos de la época colonial de la típica casa hacienda, que cuenta con un ambiente para destilar, y otro para el embotellado, o de las típicas naves industriales que solo responden a la necesidad de producción y hasta casos en situaciones peores. Si observamos países vitivinícolas como lo son Chile, Argentina o España, veremos que hay una preocupación tan importante, por la producción de vinos de calidad como por ofrecer un circuito turístico de alta calidad a partir del mismo. Lo que se ha hecho es ofrecerle al turista una experiencia completa a través de una visita a una bodega, tomando en cuenta la arquitectura como un factor determinante de esta experiencia, y en ella dar servicios y actividades como lo son los tours por la bodega, las catas, la enseñanza, el hospedaje etc.<br>Tesis

Interictal and ictal epileptic discharges are produced by focal and widespread dysfunctional neuronal networks. Identification and characterization of epileptic discharges underlie the diagnosis and the choice of treatment for epilepsy patients. A better knowledge of the generation, propagation and localisation of epileptic discharges, and their interaction with the physiological and pathological brain networks can be very helpful in planning epilepsy surgery and minimizing the risk of damaging the physiological brain networks. This work describes a number of methodological developments and novel applications investigating the epileptic networks in humans using EEG-fMRI. First, I implemented synchronized video recording inside the MRI-scanner during simultaneous EEG-fMRI studies, which did not deteriorate the imaging and EEG data quality. Secondly, I used video recordings to identify physiological activities to be modelled as confounds in the functional imaging data analysis for interictal activity, thus increasing the sensitivity of video-EEG-fMRI. Thirdly, I applied this modelling approach to investigate seizure related functional networks in patients with focal epilepsy. Video recordings allowed partitioning seizures into phases separating the ictal onset related functional networks from propagation related networks. Localisation of the ictal onset related networks may be useful in the planning for epilepsy surgery in a selected group of patients, as demonstrated by their comparison with intracranial-EEG recordings. Further, I investigated haemodynamic changes during preictal period which suggested recruitment of an inhibitory followed by an excitatory network prior to the ictal onset on scalp EEG. In the next step, I used simultaneous intracranial-EEG-fMRI in patients undergoing invasive evaluation, demonstrating that local and remote networks associated with very focal interictal discharges recorded on intracranial-EEG may predict the surgical outcome. Finally, I investigated the interaction of epileptic discharges with the working memory, using scalp video-EEG-fMRI, showing that the presence of epileptic activity may alter the working memory related networks. Methodological constraints, clinical applications and future perspectives are discussed.

I uppsatsen undersöks hur ICA kan förstärka sitt varumärke genom just EMV och lokalproducerat.</p><p>Kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med olika personer inom ICA-koncernen, dessa personer har valts ut utifrån deras expertisområden; EMV, Sortiment & Inköp, Kategori och ”Smak på lokalt”.</p><p>Resultatet visar på att ICA arbetar aktivt med att stärka lojaliteten till företaget, dess varumärke samt att öka kundlojaliteten. Detta sker genom kontinuerlig lansering av nya produkter, unika produktlinjer samt satsningen ”Smak på lokalt” som har visat sig vara mycket framgångsrik. ICA:s senaste EMV satsning; ICA I Love Eco har även den fått mycket positiv respons.</p><p>ICA är noggranna med kvalitetssäkring av deras produkter och kräver att producenterna skall använda sig av ICA, godkänd standard. ICA försöker ständigt att förbättra kvalitén och priset på sina produkter för att öka kundlojaliteten till EMV. Satsningen på ”Smak på lokalt” har flera utgångspunkter. Det handlar om att man möter olika behov hos konsumenten, bra erbjudanden som kan stärka varumärket.</p>

Spectroscopie de tres haute resolution de icl : nous avons applique une technique de spectroscopie de saturation a la transition a-x de icl pour eliminer l'effet doppler residuel et determiner sa structure hyperfine. La faible largeur naturelle de cette transition confere a cette experience un interet metrologique. Les resultats que nous avons obtenu sur icl permettent de resoudre les structures hyperfines de l'iode et du chlore, contrairement a la technique de spectroscopie conventionnelle ou la structure du chlore est masquee par l'effet doppler residuel. Ces resultats sont interessants car la structure hyperfine moleculaire caracterise de maniere tres precise la liaison chimique. Photodissociation et collision de la molecule de icl orientee : h. J. Loesch a montre, en 1990, comment orienter l'axe moleculaire en appliquant un champ electrique intense sur des molecules polaires tres froides en rotation, produites par expansion supersonique. Plusieurs experiences de collisions ont ainsi ete realisees, mais l'orientation n'a jamais ete mesuree directement. Nous avons effectue une telle mesure sur un jet moleculaire de icl grace a une experience de photodissociation. Le jet de icl ensemence dans l'argon a ete optimise afin d'obtenir simultanement une tres basse temperature rotationnelle et une faible fraction de icl dans des complexes. Les atomes d'iode produits par la photodissociation et emis dans la direction du champ electrique sont detectes par spectrometrie de masse. Cette experience mesure l'orientation de l'axe moleculaire en fonction du champ applique et donne un acces direct au signe du moment dipolaire de icl dans l'etat x. Nous avons modelise l'experience par un calcul monte-carlo et mis en evidence d'importants effets non lineaires en champ electrique du processus d'orientation. D'autre part, nous avons etudie la theorie des effets de reorientation moleculaire lors d'une collision entre un atome et une molecule orientee par un champ electrique intense.
