Abstract:
The Colic familyʹs house is located at Nikovac Street no. 8 in Vares. Together with several houses on this street and houses in Matijevici and Benici streets, this house contributes to the ambience of this part of Vares where the values of the construction of the indigenous bosnian chardaklia house are still preserved. The house was built in the mid-19th century, within the well-known Vares Colic family, which had its own sawmill for cutting and processing wood. The house belongs to the type of three-tracks bosnian house with one divanhan. From the time of its construction to the present day, several renovations have been made on the house, both in the layout and materialization and in the furnishing of its interior. The house is still in use today, but occasionally.

Abstract:
A house is a building that functions as a residence or residence and a means of family development (Law No. 4 of 1992). Every community needs a house as a necessity. With so many people needing a place to live, house construction often occurs. As time goes by, many houses have been built. From the number of houses, they can be classified into several groups, one of the classifications is based on the location where the house was built. The classification of houses based on the location where the house was built is classified into 3, namely houses in rural areas, urban areas and suburban areas. Based on this classification, data on houses being sold on the kaggle.com website was taken. From this data, the characteristics of the houses in the 3 groups can be described. The characteristics chosen are selling price, house area, and number of bedrooms. Using this data, carry out analysis using the MANOVA method. The aim of this research is to determine the influence between house location and selling price, house area and number of rooms

Abstract:
Only a few percent of new detached houses in Finland are designed by architects. Most people planning to build a house use only free design services included in the price of house delivery. This means for example that a building engineer designs the house based on some standard model, which he changes according to discussions between sales person and customer. This often results in seemingly generic houses that do not capture most value of the plot. Log houses make no exception in the Finnish market, even if they are a somewhat luxury product abroad. Why do not people in Finland use architects for designing their log houses? Is it because of the price of the design work? How does the log manufacturer’s system of configuring houses work without architects? Are log house companies satisfied with the current system? Could mass customization strategies be suitable for developing design and production processes of log houses? This paper presents results of studying the need and supply of individuality of log houses, and current house design processes that let users participate configuring their new log homes in Finland. The study was carried out via consumer study and interviews of log house industry’s managing directors and sales personnel. All of these companies are building non-speculative individually-commissioned houses, building houses to meet customers’ individual orders rather than for stock. Based on our consumer study, there is a great demand for individual houses. Only 8,8% of the consumers would choose a standard house model. However only 10% of respondents would prefer a unique house designed by an architect, while 68.9% would prefer a modified standard model. Most important reason for not using architect is the price of the design work. This results in contradiction, since consumers want an individual house, but are not ready to pay for designing. Surprisingly, all interviewed managing directors of log house companies said they produce only individual houses. Customers always want some modifications even in the standard models, and that results in designing each house anew. This has a negative effect on the profits of the companies, since design work is included in the price of the house delivery. What customers might not realize is that when design work is done at the risk of house builders or even sales people, it is done with as little effort and cost as possible. Since the existing design process of log houses produces often seemingly generic but always laboriously planned houses, there would be need for improvement. Systematization of individual choices could benefit log house companies in terms of design resources. And If mass customization approach would bring architectural quality available to a broader group of new log house dwellers, they would benefit, too.

Stingless bees in one of the key pollinator, the colony also producing honey and propolis. Some stingless bees, such as Tetragonula laeviceps are well adapted to urban conditions and are commonly found on various types of houses in Kanagarian Andaleh, Kecamatan Batipuh, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, West Sumatra. Data collection of T. laeviceps colony population was done by census method. Sample houses consisted of three types (full-wooden house, half wooden-half masonry house and full-masonry house). Data collected were the part of the house used by T. laeviceps as a nesting site, number of colony, length-width of the house and the height of the house wall. Measurement of the nest were performed for entrance width, height, color and height from ground level. The total population density of T. laeviceps colonies were 552 nests, spreaded over three types of houses. Nest population density was directly proportional to the house age. The highest nest population was found in full-wooden houses that were more than 16 years old (5.22 colonies per house unit) with a relative frequency of 100%. Nest populations were lowest in full-masonry houses that were less than 15 years old (2.20 colonies per house unit) with a relative frequency of 76.00%. The transition of houses materials from wood to the other materials has indirectly decreasing the nesting site for T. laeviceps

In contrast with recent assertions that the term ‘double house’ is both anachronistic and dysfunctional when used with reference to mixed communities of the twelfth century, this paper demonstrates that contemporary writers did in fact perceive a difference between religious houses that housed both men and women, and a small group of ‘houses of canons and nuns’. The absence of a more specific term was in itself an indication of the perceived novelty of such houses, which were seen as diverging both from earlier Anglo-Saxon mixed communities, and from other twelfth-century houses for men and women.

Abstract:
Claimed as the smallest house in Australia, the Doll's House was a tiny two-roomed dwelling from the 1870s that became the poorest house in the then poorest suburb of Melbourne (Collingwood). It has since earned heritage status being cited by the National Trust in 1985 and later registered as a historic building. The miniature proportions of this tiny worker's cottage are the reason behind its nickname. This fascination with the miniature produced houses at much smaller scales as the residences of dolls rather than people. This paper examines the difference between the dolls' houses of the "old country" of the period and those that resulted from the need to make do with the resources at hand in the new colonies. Between the 1870s and the end of the nineteenth century the former were moving from bespoke houses for the very wealthy to mass-produced toys for the middle classes. German firms like Gottschalk were exporting their dolls' houses and mass-produced furniture for these to the UK and elsewhere in imitation of the exteriors and interiors of the period. In Australia dolls' houses of this period were made from waste materials such as packing cases. Furnishings could also be handmade, perhaps to the suggestions of Mrs Beeton, who encouraged children to make their own dolls' house furniture. The paper speculates as to whether this might also have been the situation in New Zealand. Unfortunately, no homemade dolls' house dating back to 1870 has yet been located here.

Abstract - Boarding house is the second place to live after living with parents. Boarding houses are usually chosen by someone who lives far from parents with the interests of studying or working. But in general boarding houses are identical to someone who is in school or college. With the many universities or educational institutions in the city of Purwokerto, many people rent their houses as boarding houses. But sometimes many boarding house residents move around for various reasons, such as rising boarding prices, far from the place of study, far from public facilities and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a boarding house to reduce boarding house occupants who move. In choosing this boarding house, ELECTRE and SAW methods are used as tools to get a picture of the best boarding houses. With this method the weighting is done to get the percentage of matches for the recommended boarding house according to the criteria. Keywords: boarding, Electre, SAW, criteria

Abstract This research will reveal clarity about the sustainability of the traditional house of Kudus which is used as a house for the jenang industry. The Kudus traditional house or it can be called the joglo pencu house is a house that has a blend of acculturation with local Javanese Pesisiran characters. This character is the result of the cultural process of the Kudus community. The culture of making the traditional house of the Kudus as a residence has developed into a forum for household business activities or Home Based Enterprises (HBE), namely the Kudus jenang industry. The traditional house has been used for jenang industrial activities for generations. The Kudus traditional house is still used as a jenang production house, even though the development of buildings and technology is currently progressing. This paper discusses what factors make the jenang industry still maintain traditional houses for jenang production activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that make traditional houses still function as jenang industrial production houses. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method of the Kudus traditional house. The results of this study will show that there is an effort to maintain the traditional house of the Kudus by developing socio-economic activities.

Abstract:
The relevance of passive energy saving technologies in energy efficient low-rise construction in Russia is indicated. The definition of a passive house and its feature is given. Indicated that an attractive source of energy for heating the house is the energy of the sun. The definition of a solar house is given. The requirements for a solar passive house during its design are described: compact form of the house, optimal orientation of the house to the cardinal points, differentiation of glazing at home, passive use of solar energy, etc. It is noted that the most common system of passive heating of a house is to heat insulated glazed volume between nature and internal space of the house (vegetarian). The definition of a vegetarian is given, its design, features and advantages are described. Considered and analyzed various ways of heating solar houses from a vegetarian: a semi-direct, indirect, thermosiphon system with heating and circulation of warm air around the house. The classification of solar houses is discussed depending on the architectural solution for the placement of the vegetarian: a detached house with a vegetarian; a house with a vegetarian adjoining its main living space; a house located with a vegetarian under a common roof; a house with a vegetarian built into its living volume, a house with a “double shell”. The following types of vegetarians are listed: attached to an existing house, built into the house or being a “second shell” for the house. Practical recommendations for optimal work of a vegetarian are given: the need for special glazing (thermal mirror), protection from sunlight in the summer. The conclusion is made about the prospects of solar houses with a vegetarian due to the clear advantages of the passive heating system of the house and a high architectural and aesthetic level.

One form of vernacular architecture on the banks of the Musi River is a sustainable home in the face of climate and weather in Palembang. The house on stilts or pillar houses is a sustainable alternative to the Musi Palembang riverbank community. The purpose of this study was to determine the trend of the adaptation of the stage floor height to the volume of water at the tidal currents of the Palembang Musi River. In achieving this goal, a study was conducted to identify architectural traces, explore activities and ideas of the Musi coastal communities. Data collection is done through field observations, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. Analysis was carried out qualitatively on variables, process characteristics, and products from identification of riverbank settlements. The results show that most of the houses on the banks of the river experience physical changes in buildings, both in terms of functions and building materials. Changes in the constituent elements of the house from wood material to permanent material occurred in most of the stilt houses on the Musi riverside settlement, resulting in riverside houses characterized by land houses.

Abstract:
Wildfires continue to destroy houses, but an understanding of the complex mix of risk factors remains elusive. These factors comprise six themes: preparedness actions (including defensible space), response actions (including defence), house construction, landscape fuels, topography and weather. The themes span a range of spatial scales (house to region) and responsible agents (householders through government to entirely natural forces). We conducted a statistical analysis that partitions the contribution of these six themes on wildfire impact to houses, using two fires that destroyed 200 houses in New South Wales (Australia) in October 2013 (the Linksview and Mt York fires). We analysed 85 potential predictor variables using Random Forest modelling. The best predictors of impact were whether the house was defended and distance to forest toward the direction of fire spread. However, predictors from all four of the other themes had some influence, including distance to the nearest other burnt house (indicating house-to-house transmission) and vegetation cover up to 40 m from the house. The worst-placed houses (undefended, without adequate defensible space, with burnt houses nearby and with a westerly aspect) were 10 times more likely to be impacted than the best-placed houses in our study. The results indicate that householders are the agents most able to mitigate risk in the conditions experienced in these fires through both preparation and active defence.

Abstract: This paper focuses on examining the role of the growing core house concept in increasing the livability of houses and housing in Indonesia. The house is a very valuable place vital for human development, the house is a shelter and a basic human need. Therefore the house must have the feasibility to support all activities of normal daily life. However, the feasibility of houses and housing is still a problem in Indonesia, this is due to the construction of houses and housing that does not really consider functionality but is more profit-oriented. This study uses a literature study research method. The concept of developing core houses to grow can be an alternative to increase the feasibility of houses and housing in Indonesia with several potentials, such as simple design, ease of construction, and affordability and weaknesses, such as being able to create slum areas if not planned properly. Abstract The essay describes Carolee Schneemann's residence, a stone house constructed in 1750 by Huguenot settlers on land of the Munsee Lenape people, and its central role in her life and work from the early 1960s until her death in 2019. The essay gives particular attention to Schneemann's text “Parts of a Body House” (1957–67), a series of paragraphs composed over a decade that describe a network of biomorphic structures and multimedia environments. The essay argues that “Parts of a Body House” is a “nerve codex” by which to read the artist's life and work. Abstract:
Because house prices rise every year, a mechanism to forecast future house values is required. House price prediction can help the developer determine the selling price of a house and can help the customer to arrange the right time to purchase a house. Physical conditions, concept, and location are only a few of the aspects that determine the price of a home. Usually, House price index represents the summarized price changes of residential housing. While for a singlefamily house price prediction, it needs a more accurate method based on location, house type, size, build year, local amenities, and some other factors which could affect house demand and supply. A practical and composite data pre-processing, creative feature engineering method is investigated with limited dataset and data features. This model is used to predict the house prices so as to cut down the complications faced by the customers. The present method where customers reach real-estate agents and search for houses in their budget, and should analyze whether a particular price is accurate or not. To overcome this our proposal is used. This system makes optimal use of the Machine Learning Algorithms. By extracting data from datasets of different houses, preprocessing the data and model is built using that data using Regression. The algorithm used for the model building is KNN (K Nearest Neighbor) Algorithm. This system design is modularized into various categories.

Abstract:
Pattojo is a small kingdom in the past, and at this time, Pattojo was called village of Pattojo. The Kingdom of Pattojo is also called ke-datu-an Pattojo whose the king or queen was called datu. To be a king or queen, one must of the highest Nobel or Datu title. Bugis house is identical to the stilt on the house and the rectangular facet is elongated. The house's mention in the bugis tribe has a difference between the noble house and the ordinary people's house. The noble house is called saoraja (Sao=house, raja=big so that saoraja is a big house), and the people's house is called the bola. Generally, noble houses in ancient times were larger than ordinary people's houses. This research is a study on the form of Bugis noble house or king's private house (saoraja datu pattojo: local language) built before Indonesia's independence. The form of façade the arrangement of space in the house has nothing in common with the original Bugis house. It may indicate that the king's house did not follow the original form of Bugis house but has combined between the Bugis and European architecture. Some things that are very clearly undergoing a change from the original of Bugis house is the roof, position of the stairs, there is an arc shape on the underside of the house, and the arrangement of the room has also undergone changes.

Minangkabau house is one of the most particular houses in Southeast Asia. The uplifted rooftop as the shape of buffalo horns, and large-scale single pile house are its main features. From the 17th to 18th century, Minangkabau people in Indonesia migrated massively from the Pagarruyung area of Sumatra to the state of Sembilan on Malay Peninsula. They brought with them the system of a matrilineal society (Adat pepatih), but there was not a complete transplantation of their particular house. This research conducts field investigations on Minangkabau houses in there two areas and analyzes the reasons of the change and major influential factors. The results show how Minangkabau houses transfer from large single pile house into extended small grouped pile houses, which has become another kind of vernacular houses in Malay Peninsula.

Abstract:
The 2018 Palu Earthquake had damaged many community houses. The post-earthquake settlements program is the construction of temporary shelter and permanent house. The paper discusses to evaluate the development and propose rehabilitation and reconstruction applied in Central Sulawesi. All data were obtained by questionnaire, interviews, and field observations. The data is analyzed in a result framework for the shelter evaluation and a comparison to other post-earthquake programs for permanent house development. The research found the temporary shelter is occupied by only 52% because of impractical mobilization, living cost assistance absence, uncomfortable conditions, lack of clean water, and several refugees have reconstructed their houses. A low satisfaction rate is caused by the inadequate indoor condition, small capacity, and lack of privacy. This rate makes the temporary shelter is less effective. Regarding the permanent house development, the construction of relocated and satellite houses use modular houses, while the house reconstruction program authorizes the community to choose the preferred house model. The result is concerned to be different in occupancy and satisfaction level, in which the house reconstruction program will be more accepted. Since the temporary shelter and permanent house development requires relocated sites, land provision has slowed down the pre-construction stage.

This paper uses data on all house transactions in Massachusetts over the last 20 years to show that houses sold after foreclosure, or close in time to the death or bankruptcy of a seller, are sold at lower prices than other houses. Foreclosure discounts are on average at 27 percent of the value of a house. Moreover, foreclosures that take place within small local geographies of a house lower the price at which it is sold. Our preferred estimate is that a foreclosure at a distance of 0.05 miles lowers the price of a house by about 1 percent. JEL: D14, R31

Abstract:
The existence of traditional houses in Banda Aceh has been extinguished in modern times. With globalization's impact, the traditional house connotates as ‘old house style,’ and thus, the house style is not up to date. A large number of house owners demolish them and reconstruct them with new modern houses. Despite that, it is approved that the traditional houses of Aceh were survived the earthquake that frequently hit the region. As Banda Aceh is one of the regions resided on Sumatran's segment, the region has a large number of earthquakes. This paper, which is part of the previous study on the thermal comfort of traditional and modern houses in Aceh, explores a historical architectural example that reveals local experiences that involve local wisdom and expertise. This paper focuses on a traditional house located in a modern housing neighborhood in Banda Aceh city. In doing this, the paper identifies how Acehnese ancestors, through their local knowledge, have constructed a traditional Acehnese house. The article also shows how its architectural form's construction techniques respond to the region's geographical condition. In constructing this study, interview and observation toward the building as primary data collections are conducted. Also, several written sources, as secondary data, related to an Acehnese traditional house, are reviewed. This paper shows that constructing a conventional house is a responsive architecture toward hot climate and earthquake. Therefore, this architectural building type with the local wisdom value's involvement is worthy of being applied and adapted in modern life.

This paper explores the application of an informal shape grammar whose purpose is to generate new house designs in the hayat style. The hayat is a large shaded gallery open to the garden. It occupies the most important place in the composition of the house. The study is based on a corpus of eight hayat houses designed in the classic Ottoman style in the 18th and 19th centuries in Sarajevo. In this paper, the emphasis is on the generation of new houses. The informal grammar does not explain the designs in detail but rather generates new house designs by transferring some knowledge embedded in original designs. The generation of a new house type within the grammar proceeds in three steps: (1) primitive hayat house generation, (2) subhouse generation, and (3) house variations.

Boarding houses or indekos are services that offer rooms or apartments with a certain amount of payment for a certain period of time (usually monthly or annual payments). The purpose of this research is to create a web-based boarding house information application to develop a boarding house rental service business. To support the research, we use the waterfall method, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and testing in making boarding applications. The final result of this research is the creation of a web-based information system that can be used for seekers and providers of boarding rooms. This system will attract the interest of boarding house tenants because this system makes it easy for boarding house seekers to get the boarding house specifications as desired. Likewise, boarding house providers will easily offer their rental services so that they can be rented and occupied by boarding house seekers. It can be concluded that this information system helps in finding suitable boarding houses that can be done online and makes it easy for boarding house owners to promote their place to the fullest.

Often the availability of the number of boarding houses is not comparable to the number of boarding house seekers, so boarding seekers must find information more quickly in order to get a place to live according to what they want. Boarding house owners promote their boarding houses in a conventional way, namely by word of mouth, distributing brochures, or posting announcements in public places. Based on these problems, an Android-based boarding house search application is needed, an application system that can be a place for out-of-towners who feel confused in finding boarding houses that suit their wishes, and can help boarding owners promote their boarding houses online via a smartphone based on android. The research objective was to design a boarding house search application in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, the method used was the waterfall methodology, which is a system method that begins with the requirements analysis stage, then system design, implementation of application development, and users are carried out. This application system was developed using the Java programming language and utilizing Location Based Services and Google Maps. This article argues that understanding what the house in Sandra Cisneros's The House on Mango Street symbolizes is foundational to contextualizing the radical possibilities that Cisneros enacts in her work. Unlike most critics who read “the house” as referencing the title of the text, I argue that the novel is full of houses, notably the house located on Mango Street that narrator Esperanza Cordero longs to escape from, and the house away from Mango Street that she longs to one day have. By reading these two houses through Homi Bhabha's notion of the “unhomely” and Gaston Bachelard's notion of “felicitous space”, we can better understand a critique of the house in light of its resonance with the American Dream on the one hand, and a reconfiguration of that symbolism through a feminist intervention on the other.

Traditional Thai house architecture is a significant part the Thai culture and heritage. One unique attribute of traditional Thai house construction is the modular, pre-fabricated wood components, with non-permanent connections. This allows the house to be dissembled and reassembled in a new location without damage. This is a case study of Thai-style houses built and owned by six generations of the Usiri family. Their houses have been passed down from the first to subsequent generations. From only two Thai-style houses 130 years ago, there are now eleven houses as part of an expanding cultural inheritance. © 2016. The Authors. A livable house is abbreviated as the feasibility of a residential house which can be measured from 2 aspects, namely the physical quality of the house and the quality of house facilities. The physical quality of the residential house is measured by 3 variables, namely the type of roof, the type of wall, and the type of floor, while the quality of the housing facilities is measured by 2 variables, namely the source of lighting and the availability of toilet facilities. In this study, the authors use the prototype method using data analysis and system design. This web-based geographic information system for livable houses in Kandolo Village aims to assist in the data collection process for livable houses in Kandolo Village. The results of this study 257 house data have been entered, of which 247 houses are suitable for livable on, 6 houses that are less suitable for livable on, and 4 houses that are not suitable for livable on. For visitors, this system functions to select houses that are livable by looking at several registered pins, then the system will take the resident data detail page. Then in the detail section of citizen data, there will be some resident data, photos of houses, and routes to their destination. From the application trial results, the author conducted a black box test with 11 test class items and respondent tests for direct users at the Kandolo Village Office where the features are used to well and are accepted among the community.

Abstract:
In Indonesia, there is a rich diversity of cultures, one of which is traditional houses. Traditional houses essentially have the potential to represent the way of life, culture, and local economy. Traditional houses in Indonesia, particularly in the Malaka region, are important cultural symbols that can be regarded as cultural icons in Malaka and Indonesia. They provide a historical perspective, heritage, and reflect the progress of society in a civilization. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method is used in this research. In this study, the CNN algorithm is applied to classify traditional house objects. These traditional house objects are divided into two categories: Kolibein Traditional House and Laleik Traditional House. The objective of this research is to classify traditional houses in Malaka, namely Kolibein Traditional House and Laleik Traditional House, and also to determine the accuracy level of CNN classification results. The previously created model is tested using test data to assess its accuracy. The testing is conducted on 20 data points, with 10 data points in each respective class. The testing results show that the classification of Kolibein and Laleik traditional houses is error- free or very accurate. Based on the model developed for classifying Kolibein and Laleik traditional houses using the Convolutional Neural Network method, it is evident that this method is capable of producing accurate results. The obtained results indicate that the accuracy, based on the classification report using images of Kolibein and Laleik traditional houses, reaches 100%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the constructed CNN model has a high level of accuracy.

ABSTRACT The study aimed to identify sources of campylobacter in 10 housed broiler flocks from three United Kingdom poultry companies. Samples from (i) the breeder flocks, which supplied the broilers, (ii) cleaned and disinfected houses prior to chick placement, (iii) the chickens, and (iv) the environments inside and outside the broiler houses during rearing were examined. Samples were collected at frequent intervals and examined for Campylobacter spp. Characterization of the isolates using multilocus sequence typing (MLST), serotyping, phage typing, and flaA restriction fragment length polymorphism typing was performed. Seven flocks became colonized during the growing period. Campylobacter spp. were detected in the environment surrounding the broiler house, prior to as well as during flock colonization, for six of these flocks. On two occasions, isolates detected in a puddle just prior to the birds being placed were indistinguishable from those colonizing the birds. Once flocks were colonized, indistinguishable strains of campylobacter were found in the feed and water and in the air of the broiler house. Campylobacter spp. were also detected in the air up to 30 m downstream of the broiler house, which raises the issue of the role of airborne transmission in the spread of campylobacter. At any time during rearing, broiler flocks were colonized by only one or two types determined by MLST but these changed, with some strains superseding others. In conclusion, the study provided strong evidence for the environment as a source of campylobacters colonizing housed broiler flocks. It also demonstrated colonization by successive campylobacter types determined by MLST during the life of a flock.

Abstract:
Vernacular architecture embodies passive design principles and strategies to create comfortable dwellings. This study investigates the impact of passive design strategies on temperature comfort in Samin vernacular houses. Visual observation is employed to assess the suitability of house elements based on passive design criteria. At the same time, field measurements are conducted to evaluate comfortable temperature conditions using data loggers over one month. The research focuses on the Original Samin house and the New Samin house situated in Klopoduwur Village, Blora Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The visual observation reveals that the roof volume, slope, and thin walls with low conductivity in both Samin houses align with passive design principles. The New Samin house also incorporates other passive design strategies, including an east-west building orientation with the long side perpendicular to the wind direction, an open-plan room layout, and varying floor heights. The temperature comfort performance in both houses falls within the neutral temperature range during 16 hours. The New Samin house exhibits the largest daytime air temperature decrease at 5.5°C, while the Original Samin house experiences the largest nighttime decrease at 0.7°C. The evolution of passive designs in Samin vernacular houses encompasses considerations such as building proportion and width, terrace width, positioning and size of window openings, vegetation, and shading elements.

Abstract:
Traditional Balinese houses in tourist areas are transforming, whereas, on the other hand, Balinese have tried to maintain the identity of the traditional houses to attract tourists. This transformation is a paradoxical phenomenon in which people have transformed their houses to gain economic benefits from tourism. The absence of an appropriate transformation model, which can be used as a guide for the community in utilizing houses in tourism economic activities, allows for the filtration of the tourism function into traditional spatial and cultural spaces. Therefore, this study is urgent to be carried out to maintain the potential of the house as a cultural tourist attraction while at the same time gaining economic benefits. To achieve this goal, a tiered method was developed starting from baseline data collection, an inventory of the texture and character of changes in traditional houses. A more in-depth exploration of traditional house changes using samples based on stratified random sampling and interviews will reveal and create traditional house change innovations. It is continued with the creation of design innovations in the traditional house transformation model. Finally, an analysis was carried out on creating design innovations to transform traditional houses into tourist facilities without abandoning the meaning and values of a traditional house.

Abstract:
In this work, a list of the house nominations, stylistic and poetic means and techniques used to describe the groom’s and bride’s houses are considered based on published and archival materials of the 19th — early 21st centuries. The description of the newlyweds’ houses is formed by depicting three macrolocuses: the adjacent territory, or courtyard; the zone connecting the courtyard with the interior of the dwelling (porch, door, threshold) and the interior of the house, the image of which is formed by sequentially naming the loci that are most significant from the ritual viewpoint (place of honor, wide bench, furnace, etc.). The houses of both the groom and the bride are described using the very same poetic means of the ‘house’ semantic group. The concept of the bride’s house as a “strange” space for the groom’s party is manifested in speeches related to climbing the porch, opening doors, crossing the threshold and entrance. As the groomsman progresses and claims the house territory, the sense of the house as “strange” intensifies, reaches a critical point at the moment of crossing the threshold and declines after the entrance to the house. The dynamics of the groomsman’s image is revealed in speeches emphasizing the crossing of the threshold. The entrance of the best man to the house is interpreted as a case of crossing the boundary: penetration of the “strange” space is accompanied by a deterioration in vision, the onset of limpness and muteness, being marked, losing clothes or shoes, and giving away material values (money). As he claims the “strange” space and transcodes it into “own space,” the temporary physical indisposition of the groomsman passes. The courtyard, staircase, steps, porch, and threshold are regularly depicted in the descriptions of houses and adjacent territory. The most frequent epithets arewide andnew. Numerous diminutives are another feature of the texts that describe the house.

Abstract:
Boarding houses have become a fairly important need for many people, especially for students studying outside the area who choose boarding houses as temporary housing, and students whose homes may be quite far from the campus where they study by renting boarding houses near their campus so as not to spend a lot of energy and time traveling. The boarding house route search information system has benefits for users who will search for the nearest boarding house from various features such as finding boarding house routes and viewing detailed boarding house information. ease of boarding house owners to manage data allows information to be continuously updated. This study aims to create an android-based boarding house location information system. The research stage starts from the design of a system that has been built using a Use Case Diagram that has three actors including admin, boarding house owner, and tenant/user. Each of these actors has different roles and access rights. At the implementation stage of the system creation process using the android studio application, then the system is tested using the BlackBox method. Based on the results of system tests that have been carried out obtaining good results or in other words the system can run as expected.
