Implementing holistic nursing services could increase patient comfort in treatment, increasing patient satisfaction. Holistic nursing services need to be done to improve the quality of services in hospitals. This study aims to determine the correlation between holistic nursing services and patient satisfaction. This research design was cross-sectional, and the purposive method took 32 respondents as the sample. Data were analyzed using univariate and Somers's statistical tests. The results of this study showed that holistic nursing services were in the excellent category (62.5%), and patient satisfaction was in the satisfied class (65.6%). The results of the correlation variable found a relationship between holistic nursing services and patient satisfaction (sig 0.000<0.05). Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to propose Empowered Holistic Nursing Education (EHNE) as a midrange theory—developed through induction, explication, deduction, and retroduction—to help nurse educators teach holistically and create a student-centered classroom, to establish a theoretical basis for a nursing pedagogy reflecting nursing’s foundational principles, and to guide future research. The model’s 5 core concepts, how to use the model as a pedagogy for practice, and its application to research will be presented. Holistic nursing will be defined, and traditional holistic nursing, holistic pedagogy, and emancipatory pedagogy will each be described.

Abstract:
Teaching nursing students a holistic approach to patient care and integrating treatment modalities is a crucial component of traditional holistic nursing education. This study aims to investigate the educational competency of student nurses in holistic nursing by employing a descriptive comparative design among the 209 student nurses from the University of Hail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Results showed that the student nurses perceived that they have been skillful in the following; professional, legal, and ethical nursing (3.22±.455), management (3.27±.492), leadership (3.29±.493), and professionalism (3.32±.505). On gender and professional, legal, and ethical nursing, there found significant gender differences (t=.822; p=.012). Also, management was found to have significant differences with gender (t=.281; p=.009). Leadership (t=-.694; p>488) and professionalism (t=.885; p>.377) were found to have no significant difference with gender. Moreover, the professional, legal, and ethical nursing (t=.822; p<.001) and management (t=.910; p<.001) were found to have significant differences with the age of the student nurses, while leadership (t=.231; p>.794), and professionalism (t=.270; p>.764) were found no significant difference with age. On civil status, there found a significant difference in professional, legal, and ethical nursing (t=1.337; p<0.001). Meanwhile, management (t=.992; p>.397), leadership (t=.142p>.935), and professionalism (t=1.122; p>.341) were found to have no significant difference with civil status. Incorporating holistic nursing into nursing courses and research programs would help educate student nurses for multicultural practice contexts as healthcare settings become more diverse.

Abstract:
Simulation as a technology and holistic nursing care as a philosophy are two components within nursing programs that have merged during the process of knowledge and skill acquisition in the care of the patients as whole beings. Simulation provides opportunities to apply knowledge and skill through the use of simulators, standardized patients, and virtual settings. Concerns with simulation have been raised regarding the integration of the nursing process and recognizing the totality of the human being. Though simulation is useful as a technology, the nursing profession places importance on patient care, drawing on knowledge, theories, and expertise to administer patient care. There is a need to promptly and comprehensively define the concept of holistic nursing simulation to provide consistency and a basis for quality application within nursing curricula. This concept analysis uses Walker and Avant’s approach to define holistic nursing simulation by defining antecedents, consequences, and empirical referents. The concept of holism and the practice of holistic nursing incorporated into simulation require an analysis of the concept of holistic nursing simulation by developing a language and model to provide direction for educators in design and development of holistic nursing simulation.
