Abstract:
Fibry Jati Nugroho, Pastoral Assistance Holistic: A Proposed Conceptual Development Residents Church. A strong church is formed of a strong congregation. Strong congregation obtained from the pastoral care that actively touches the whole life of the churches. The Church should strive to develop a holistic pastoral care to the congregation. Various programs designed to be used to achieve a holistic pastoral care. Multiculture congregation accompanied by multiproblem, requiring pastoral agents set the strategy and create a model to be able to provide a holistic pastoral care services to the citizens of his church. The concept of holistic pastoral care of Howard Clinebell and Totok Wiryasaputra will help create a framework to analyze the development of church people holistically. The theoretical framework will be integrated with pastoral models developed by David Yonggi Cho's Yoido Full Gospel Church. The concept and model of pastoral care holistic support each other as well as a "scalpel" of pastoral care that is geared towards the empowerment of the laity effectiveness and small groups methods.

Abstract:

A study program at a private higher education institution, namely CT, a transformational holistic education organization, implements an academic and non-academic guidance program through small groups called CARE Groups (CG). However, regardless of there being a CG program, there are still many cases of CT students breaking rules. These range from general cases to more severe ones that result in warning letters. The discrepancy found in the range of cases is the topic of this study, which focuses on the perspective of the CG leadership. The qualitative method of case study was utilized so that the data may be accurate and in-depth for analysis, in order for there to be further discussion. The three main findings that answered the problem formulated in this study were the description of strategies and CT efforts in equipping CG Leader (CGL), an explanation of the reasons for the emergence of cases among students, and the formulation of an ideal profile for a CGL.

BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Sebuah program studi di suatu perguruan tinggi swasta, sebut saja CT, suatu lembaga pendidikan holistis yang transformasional menerapkan suatu program bimbingan akademik dan non-akademik berbentuk kelompok kecil bernama CARE Group (CG). Abstract:
Health can be interpreted not only as an important element of sustainable development. It is connected to its all the three pillars namely its environmental, economic and social dimension as well. Health can be found directly or indirectly in every goal related to sustainable development. Considering the importance of health, the aim of our research was to elaborate a holistic health conscious model encouraging sustainable development. Holistic health conscious model means a model including the physical, psychical and mental health of the individual. Furthermore, besides the responsibility of the individual environmental effects are also taken into account as well as the intervening factors. In addition, it integrates the aspect of sustainable development. In our research, first of all we were looking for the answer to the following (1) what kind of stakeholders play a role in developing health consciousness? (2) What is the role of individuals, the state, the companies and NGOs in developing health consciousness? The article presents the holistic health model which was created as a result of the empirical research.

Abstract:
The recent self-adaptive software systematic literature reviews stated clearly the following insufficiencies: (1) the need for a holistic self-adaptive software model to integrate its different aspects (2) The limitation of adaptations to context changes (3) The absence of a general and complete adaptations’ picture allowing its understandability, maintainability, evaluation, reuse, and variability. (4) The need for an explicit and a detailed link with resources, and (5) a usual limitation to known events. In order to metigate these insufficiencies, this paper is proposing a holistic model that integrates the operating, adaptations, and adaptations’ manager aspects. The proposed model covers all possible adaptations: operating (dealing with software functions failures), lifecycle (handling adaptations required by some software lifecycle steps), and context (facing context changes events). The presented work introduces the concept of software adaptations process integrating the specifications of all the above kind of adaptations. In fact, this work shows an explicit trace to its pure bio-inspired origin. An application of the proposed approach on a “car industry case study” demonstrated its feasibility in comparison with similar works that proved its meaningful added value and its promising research perspectives.

Abstract:
Explanations of descriptions of events are undivided, holistic, units of analysis for the purpose of justification. Their justifications are based on the transmission of information about the past and its interpretation and analysis. Further analysis of explanations of descriptions of events is redundant. The “holistic” model of explanations fits better the actual practices of scientists, historians and ordinary people who utter explanatory propositions than competing models. I consider the “inference to the best explanation” model and argue that under one interpretation, it cannot account for all the paradigmatic cases of explanation of description of events that I present, though under another interpretation it fits comfortably with my holistic model. Finally, I argue that there is nothing intrinsic or structural to distinguish holistic explanations of descriptions of events from other hypothetical propositions because the pragmatic context of inquiry may well determine exclusively whether a proposition is considered explanatory.

Abstract:
Islamic treasures have a parenting concept originating from the Holy Qur’an and the Hadith. I call this Islamic parenting concept a Holistic Parenting. Samples used in this study were as follows: five parents during the data elicitation stage, 228 male and female teenagers during the try-out stage and 616 16-to-17-year-old teenagers during the primary data collection stage. Based on the internal consistency test and construct validity test, the holistic parenting scale has a good validity and reliability. This scale is capable of measuring the same construct consistently, and is valid to measure the construct holistic parenting consisting of five dimensions namely: qudwah hasanah (integrated role model), al addah (habituation), al mauidzah (effective advice), al mulahadzah (fairness in care and control), and uqubah wa ujaroh (proportional consequences). Through the psychometric standard procedure that has been undergone, the holistic parenting scale presented in this study has been able to be employed to measure parents’ parenting capability over their sons and daughters in the Muslim family in Indonesia.

Abstract:
Investigation of every crime scene with digital evidence is predominantly required in identifying almost all atomic files behind the scenes that have been intentionally scrubbed out. Apart from the data generated across digital devices and the use of diverse technology that slows down the traditional digital forensic investigation strategies. Dynamically scrutinizing the concealed or sparse metadata matches from the less frequent archives of evidence spread across heterogeneous sources and finding their association with other artifacts across the collection is still a horrendous task for the investigators. The effort of this article via unique pockets (UP), unique groups (UG), and unique association (UA) model is to address the exclusive challenges mixed up in identifying incoherent associations that are buried well within the meager metadata field-value pairs. Both the existing similarity models and proposed unique mapping models are verified by the unique metadata association model.

Abstract:
The purpose of traceability is to ensure persistent alignment of product knowledge between stakeholders, artifacts, and traceability objects. On the other hand, process knowledge is equally important to ensure a systematic software development process with accurate specification and verifiable quality attributes. Previous studies lacks in presenting a consolidated view from product and process knowledge perspectives. This study has taken a systematic literature review approach to evaluate sixty one previously published papers on traceability in leading journals and conferences. Based on the findings, the authors propose to extend the definition of an existing traceability meta-model to combine both product and process knowledge perspectives. The scope of this paper is to define the extension of the traceability meta-model without violating any of its statements. This study aims to contribute by taking steps towards defining a holistic model of traceability that will provide practical guidelines to IT practitioners in general and to process engineers in particular.

Abstract:
There is a need to identify the dependent and independent variables that play a role in organizational renewal. The scientific basis of previous attempts to identify these variables are questionable as they represent the haphazard inclusion of some contextual variables. A holistic view of approaches to organization theory, and its integration with contemporary organization models, makes it possible to scientifically develop and describe a holistic model of organizational behaviour. The model indicates that organizations are composed of human, strategic, technological, control-and-motivation and boundary subsystems. The interaction between these subsystems manifests itself in complex organizational processes which create a climate and culture of shared norms and values. The model identifies those dependent and independent variables which should be considered during renewal attempts. An empirical investigation of the practical value of the model shows that, by using the model as a frame of reference for renewal, positive change can be facilitated in various subsystems and processes. The model can therefore successfully be applied in the practice of organization renewal.

Abstract:
Abstract Capacitive extracellular stimulation is a common method in implanted stimulation electrodes. The basis for investigating the transmission of stimuli from an electrode to adhered cells are in vitro experiments using calcium imaging or patch clamp measurements. Computational spatial models are used to simulate the mechanism of signal transmission at the cell-electrode interface but require high computing power. In this work, the Stern model to characterize the electrochemical double-layer (EDL) formation and a modified two-domain model are combined into a holistic equivalent circuit modelling capacitive cell stimulation. The described parameters can be directly associated with physicochemical effects. A simulation of the involved control and measurement systems allows the validation of the model with in vitro patch clamp recordings. The relationship of the cell’s distance to the electrode and efficacy of signal transmission could be observed. With this concept we aim to convert different complex approaches into a simple model and thus give an overview of the mechanisms of stimulation. We want to facilitate the interpretation of measured signals especially in voltage clamp measurements.

Abstract:
This paper seeks to develop contextual constructionism through elaboration of the concept of context and the articulation of an accompanying methodology for empirical research. I approach context as a construct involving awareness when: (1) claims-makers define contexts in social problem debates, and (2) academic analysts do likewise in studying those debates and their outcomes. Such constructions can either converge or diverge, both within and across groups of claims-makers and analysts, with significant consequences for understanding and interaction. Importantly, context is never singular, for it always presupposes at least two related settings, namely, an immediate situation involving claims that is embedded in a more distant or general one which has at least a short-term historical dimension. Both social problems claims-makers and constructionist analysts, moreover, engage in “context work,” that is, efforts to sustain an overarching sense of setting between periods of social problems claims-making and research on them. I suggest that analysts examine claims-makers’ discourse in order to identify their view of context, and then apply the same scrutiny to their own presuppositions. Analysts should also be alert to strategic uses of context as a resource (“context gaming”), they should map significant shifts in constructions of context and pay attention to unobtrusive factors that might not yet have entered awareness. Finally, analysts should avoid overly deterministic accounts. For although contexts, as constructed, do indeed impose constraints, they ought not to be seen as eliminating agency, but only as locating it in ways that facilitate sociological insight.

Abstract:
Research was conducted to determine if a holistic wellness model could promote teacher effectiveness with 54 teacher interns at a Mississippi campus. The purpose of this research was to determine whether holistic wellness as defined by creative self, coping self, social self, essential self, and physical self as measured by the 5F-Wel can be used to predict teacher effectiveness as measured by the STAI. The research question proposed for this study was: Is there a relationship between wellness as measured by the Five Factor Wellness Inventory and effective teaching as measured by the STAI? The research design was correlational. A convenience sample of voluntary participants among the 54 teacher interns was used. The predictor variables were the second order factor scores on the 5F-Wel. These factors are creative self, coping self, social self, essential self, and physical self. The dependent variable was the overall formative score on the Student Teacher Assessment Instrument (STAI). Effective teacher research supported the Student Teacher Assessment Instrument as a viable measure of teacher effectiveness. The results obtained show the predictor variables included in the multiple linear regression analysis did not predict teacher effectiveness as measured by the STAI at an accuracy greater than chance. A statistically significant relationship between the predictor variables and dependent variable was not found. Specifically, wellness as measured by the second order factors on the 5F-Wel did not predict teacher effectiveness as measured by the STAI in this study. Recommendations were to replicate this study using similar methodology in other geographical locations. Being that guidelines of state universities are of unison, it can be assumed that dissimilarities exist among the individual programs. Therefore, replicating this study at another university could provide dissimilar results or possibly indentify a specific characteristic from an intern population that would benefit from a holistic wellness model. Key words: teacher efficacy, teacher wellness, holistic wellness, student teacher.

Abstract:
With the holistic dynamic approach to the issues of noetic-cognitive development, the conceptual historical cycle initiated by Anaxagoras becomes particularly important. The milestones from his insight are: Nous (Anaxagoras) → Eidos (Plato) → Archetype (C.G. Jung) → Metanoia (J. White). This approach with this concept leads us to a revision of the consciousness ideals as the ultimate holistic and noetic reality. With shifts in peak experiences (based on their ultimate universes of time, space, information and energy) of noetic states of consciousness being measured today. We now can have a better non-reductive look at the transboundary qualities of the holistic realities such as trans-temporality, translocality, transinformativeness, and transergicity. The most authentic levels of holarchy are related to these ultimate universes: emergence with trans-temporality; attractiveness with translocality; fractality with trans-informativeness; and quantumness with transergicity. These levels of holarchy are manifested in the context of a person’s cognitive-noetic development as psychosemantic units of varying complexity such as values, concepts, constructs and symbols. The practical implementation of multilevel holonoetic development is possible in the context of a relevant educational system, which generates new meaning for a person and, as a result, readies them for self-realization. Harmony and synchronicity of holonoetic processes arises and is realized in creative communications, i.e. in transcommunications, which is fundamentally different from mechanical control, which inevitably forces the deprivation of degrees of freedom from the controlled object. Therefore, existential freedom in cognitive-noetic transcommunication is an important condition for creative sense formation. The objective is that the optimal “figure” of a multilevel holarchy of educational environment and a separate module of an individual educational environment will be the shape of a cone or triangle with its apex downward (a metaphor opposite to traditional education). The emergent value-semantic cycle hence would set the largest transdisciplinary scale. Further, the educational cycle would be concretized and deepened through conceptualization, constructiveness and sharp design solutions. The model of psychosemantics of a person’s noetic-cognitive development becomes effective in understanding the mutual conjugation of dynamic and structural psychosemantic modalities. They form an integral structural-dynamic matrix model. Its columns are motivation, sensitive-perception, imagination and emotional vectors. The rows of the matrix are formed by multilevel psychosemantic units: symbolic, constructive, conceptual and valuesemantic. Thus, all psychosemantic modalities form differentiated and structured semantic fields. They can be translated into systems of categories and analytical counting units of content analysis. This allows building analytical and prognostic profiles of both the content spheres of the educational environment and their subjects.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to test whether supportive workspace design, cultivation of high-quality leader–member relationships and vision alignment explain incremental variance in job satisfaction, work engagement and overall life satisfaction beyond antecedents identified in an earlier model of healthy workplace practices. Design/methodology/approach This paper reports the results of a survey study with a diverse sample of 214 employees. Findings In a series of regression analyses, the findings revealed that supportive workspace design, cultivation of high-quality leader–member relationships and vision alignment each explain incremental variance in one or more outcome variables (job satisfaction, work engagement and overall life satisfaction) beyond that of antecedents identified in an earlier model of healthy workplace practices. Research limitations/implications The present study identifies additional important variables to consider when conducting future research on healthy workplace practices. Future research could use longitudinal or experimental designs to further investigate the causal direction of the relationships identified in the present paper. Practical implications Managers can implement the practices identified in this paper to improve employees’ work engagement, job satisfaction and overall life satisfaction. Social implications This paper offers insights about how to improve employees’ lives, and thus, the potential impact is far-reaching and meaningful. Originality/value This paper empirically assesses workplace variables that were not included in tests of the prior healthy workplace practices model.

Abstract:
The findings of two UK government funded studies are reviewed which have highlighted requirements of next generation manufacturing systems. The studies have (a) generated a view of alternative futures for manufacturing enterprises and (b) identified barriers to their realization. This illustrates an important future role for holistic model driven manufacturing systems, which respond rapidly to competitive forces and sociopolitical economic change while maintaining good alignment between business goals and related processes and operations. The findings help to identify requirements of next generation enterprise integration methods, architectural frameworks, reference models, integration mechanisms and component elements. Based on this requirement definition the capabilities of emerging and proprietary enterprise integration methods and tools have been assessed and classified.
