Abstract:
Abstract Introduction. The study considers the issue of technical and economic analysis of alternative design options of non-rigid pavement. This issue is especially relevant during the repairing and reconstruction of roads, when it is need to consider the reuse of road construction materials, the use of geosynthetic materials, and so on. Problem statement. Experience shows that most designers perform technical and economic analysis by one indicator only- the estimated cost, which is due to the lack of methodology for technical and economic analysis of such technical solutions. In many countries, the concept of TBL (Triple bottom line) has been implemented in recent decades, when solutions are analyzed in three independent areas, in construction this approach is often formulated as “Three E” concept (economics, energy and environment). Purpose. To develop a method of multifactor technical and economic analysis of alternative design options of non-rigid pavement. Methods of study. According to the results of exploratory researches, it is proposed to apply the method of analysis of hierarchies. Results. According to the problem ststement, a hierarchical system for determination of the optimal design option of non-rigid pavement is developed. According to the developed hierarchical system, the vectors of priorities of independent factors of analysis are determined, which allow to evaluate objectively the designed alternative options. The searching for the best option is performing by independent factors based on the analysis of economic, energy and environmental indicators. Conclusions Performed modeling using the method of hierarchy analysis allows to make a multifactor analysis of alternative options of non-rigid pavement with the definition of the optimal design. Keywords : multifactor analysis, ecology, energy saving, hierarchy analysis method, non-rigid pavement, reuse.

Abstract:
This research aims to determine priorities in supplier selection. The determination of this supplier uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method by determining the criteria and sub-criteria of the supplier selection objectives. Each criterion and sub-criteria are arranged in a hierarchical structure and compared by determining the priority scale. The selection of suppliers is based on the largest global weight values. The selected supplier is PT. MMII with a global weight value of 0.280. The global weighted assessment has considered consistency in decision-making based on a consistency index, which must be below 10%. It shows that PT. MMII is selected based on existing criteria and sub-criteria compared to other suppliers. This study contributes to group decision-making involving experts to choose the most appropriate supplier.

Abstract:
We propose an assessment methodology of interchanges, which is based on one of four multi-criteria decision aid method, the AHP method, allowing the ranking of interchanges from best to worst with regard to specific criteria. The selected criteria account for different evaluation aspects (social, technical, functional, environmental, and economic ones). The final ranking of the interchanges from best to worst allows making conclusions related to assessed elements of interchanges, which should be improved to make interchanges friendlier to the passengers. The proposed interchange assessment method allows the identification of the weakest elements of the assessed interchanges, which require improvement in order to make the interchanges friendlier for passengers, with a view to increasing the number of passengers and boosting passengers’ willingness to use the interchanges.

Abstract:
Description of a new method of researching objects in the form of a set of information tasks is the goal of the work. A simplicial analysis of the cognitive structure of the object of study is included in the method. Several stages have a method. The set of basic factors is revealed at the first stage. Pairwise comparison of factors is carried out. The formation of the cognitive model in the form of an adjacency matrix of the 1st level of the hierarchy is done. Factors for the formation of the 2nd level of the hierarchy are grouped. The combination of components in the cognitive structure of the 3rd level of the hierarchy is carried out. Detailing the components of the 3rd level of the hierarchy is presented at the 4th level. A series of simulation experiments is conducted to test the stability of the detailed structure of the cognitive model. The implicit relationship between the underlying factors are studied. The method was tested on the example of the cognitive model "lifestyle" of students. The components "living conditions", "cognitive dissonance", and "performance" are grouped at the second level of the hierarchy. A simulation experiment was conducted. The presence of pulse resonance in the detailed structure of the 4th level of the hierarchy is established. Simplicial analysis is done. The ordering of the elements its purpose is. The simulation experiment was made after simplicial analysis. The result now corresponds to the theory. The influence of cognitive dissonance of the individual on the "activity" was revealed. The "activity" factor affects cognitive dissonance, among other things. Abstract:
According to pecking order theory (POT), when a company feels the need for capital, it applies the hierarchies of accounts payable and accruals, retained earnings, debt, and new common stock. Similarly, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method calculates the hierarchical priorities for the solution of complex problems. The most important justification explaining the hierarchy implementation of the POT approach are the impacts of asymmetrical information and signaling. Similarly, in the AHP method, the hierarchical decision-making process depends on the justification of the decision maker. The existence of asymmetrical information shows that the two methods complete each other. The aim of the study was to analyze POT with the AHP method, in other words, an examination of the consistency of the POT and AHP approaches with each other. The results showed that the two methods are indeed consistent with each other.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose a novel method to analyze Table of Contents (TOC) in Chinese books automatically based on the hierarchy organization rules which gained by investigation. Design/methodology/approach – This paper analyzed the main literature in this field first, then hierarchy organization rules of Chinese book TOC were generated and the method parsing TOC automatically based on these rules was proposed. A prototype system implementing the method was also developed. The method was evaluated through processing a corpus on the prototype system, and the results were checked with calculation of precision and recall. Findings – The experiment result illustrated the superiority (extensive application, recall is 95.34 percent and precision is 94.44 percent) of the method. Practical implications – The result can help Chinese libraries deal with electronic texts from four aspects. First, it can be used to complement or enhance current digitization and optical character recognition methods and cut the financial and labor cost of Chinese libraries. Second, it can help libraries to keep information on indexing words as well as chapters, sections and subsections in Chinese book databases, which ensures easy retrieval and extract any intended portion as demanded by user. Third, it helps to enrich the services and then enhances the user experiences in Chinese libraries. Fourth, it improves the specification and policy of digitalizing Chinese books. Originality/value – The paper provided insight into the hierarchy organization of TOCs in Chinese books, the method based on the rules has extensive application than other methods. This method for Chinese book TOC automatic analysis is also as reference for English book TOC automatic analysis.

Abstract:
Traditional portfolio selection models mainly obtain the optimized portfolio ratio by focusing on the prices of financial products. However, investors’ multiple preferences and risk appetites are also significant factors that should be taken into account. In consideration of these two factors simultaneously, we propose a double-hierarchy model in this paper. Specifically, the first hierarchy quantifies investors’ risk appetite based on a historical simulation method and probabilistic preference theory. This hierarchy can be utilized to describe investors’ variable risk appetites and ensure the obtained investment ratios meet investors’ immediate risk requirements. Then, using the cross-efficiency evaluation principle, the optimal investment ratios can be derived by fusing investors’ multiple preferences and risk appetites in the second hierarchy. Lastly, an illustrative example about evaluating the 10 largest capitalized stocks on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange is given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of our newly proposed model. We make the theoretical contribution to improve the traditional portfolio selection model, especially considering investors’ subjective preferences and risk appetite. Moreover, the proposed model can be practical for assisting investors with their investment strategies in real life.

Abstract:
Cluster analysis is a technique for grouping objects or observations into homogeneous groups. Cluster analysis is divided into two methods, namely hierarchy and non-hierarchy. The hierarchy method generally involves a series of n-1 decisions (n is the number of observations) that combine observations into a tree-like structure or dendogram. Hierarchy is divided into two methods, namely agglomerative (concentration) and splitting (distribution). For non-hierarchical methods, the number of clusters can be determined by the researcher. Ward method is a hierarchical cluster analysis method that can maximize homogeneity in the cluster. The Sum-of-Square (SSE) formula is used in this method to minimize variations in the clusters that are formed. In this research, squared euclid distance is used to measure the similarity between object pairs. The data used in this study are secondary data on food crop production, namely rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, green beans, sweet potatoes, and cassava in Indonesia 2018. To determine the cluster, the elbow method is used to form optimal clusters using WSS formula. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the optimal cluster is four clusters. The first cluster consists of 9 Province, the second cluster consists of 20 Province, the third cluster consists of 1 Province, the fourth cluster consists of 2 Province, and the fifth cluster consists of 2 Province. Keywords: Food Crop, Cluster Analysis, Ward Method, Squared Euclid, Elbow Method

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to apply an integrated data envelopment analysis (DEA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approach to a multi-hierarchy grey relational analysis (GRA) model. Consistent with the most real-life applications, the authors focus on a two-level hierarchy in which the attributes of similar characteristics can be grouped into categories. Nevertheless, the proposed approach can be easily extended to a three-level hierarchy in which attributes might also belong to different sub-categories and further be linked to categories. Design/methodology/approach The procedure of incorporating the DEA and AHP methods in a two-level GRA may be broken down into a series of steps. The first three steps are under the heading of attributes and the latter three steps are under the heading of categories as follows: computing the grey relational coefficients of attributes for each alternative using the basic GRA model which further provides the required (output) data for an additive DEA model; computing the priority weights of attributes and categories using the AHP method which provides a priori information on the adjustments of attributes and categories in additive DEA models; computing the grey relational grades of attributes in each category for alternatives using an additive DEA model; converting the grey relational grades of attributes to the grey relational coefficients of categories; computing the grey relational grades of categories for alternatives using an additive DEA model; computing the dissimilarity grades of categories for the tied alternatives using an additive DEA exclusion model. Findings The proposed approach provides a more reasonable and encompassing measure of performance in a hierarchy GRA, based on which the overall ranking position of alternatives is obtained. A case study of a wastewater treatment technology selection verifies the effectiveness of this approach. Originality/value This research is a step forward to overcome the current shortcomings in a hierarchy GRA by extracting the benefits from both the objective and subjective weighting methods.

Abstract:
This study tried to implement the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the weights of the criteria and sub-criteria to find the best supplier. According to QCDFR (quality, cost, delivery, flexibility, and responsiveness). This study took place in one of the biggest tile producers, ranks fifth in the world and the first in Indonesia. However, the company currently only uses quality, cost, and delivery methods to choose the best supplier of raw material, namely feldspar. This research tries to use the systematic method to find the best supplier based on the importance of the criteria. The method used the quantitative approach to enumerate the data to analyze the information. The company analyzed six suppliers. The primary tool used in this research is a Super Decision Software version 3.2 to create and manage the AHP model, enter the judgments, get results, and perform sensitivity analysis on the results. The result found that Semarang is the best supplier. The company will choose Semarang to become the company's business partner compared to the other suppliers because Semarang has met the criteria that the company prioritizes the most. By having the best supplier selection, the company can provide the right material consistency and suitable material suitability.

Abstract:
In this paper, element-free Galerkin method was used to solve problems about the evaluation of slope stability. Based on the basic principle of element-free Galerkin method, a matlab program was compiled. In the program, moving least squares method was used to construct the displacement function. And the integration scheme of four Gauss integration point background grid was used to integrate. What’s more, Lagrange multiplier method was used to apply the displacement boundary conditions. When evaluating the stability of slope, the main indices which influence slope stability were determined and the analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the weight of the indices. Then the data of slope was input into the element-free Galerkin method program. By changing the data of the main indices, we can get the change value of the nodal displacement. So we can get the final weight of the indices based on the discussing of the element-free Galerkin method and the analytic hierarchy process. Finally, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was built. What’s more, we chose a slope in Changji expressway to be evaluated. The data of the slope was input into the program of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and the result is basically stable which coincides with actual situation.

Abstract:
The article deals with the issues of ensuring industrial safety of the objects of fuel and energy complex and hazardous production facilities in other sectors of the national economy. It is recommended to analyze the consequences of emergencies considering the importance of such criteria, as the emergency area, the amount of social damage, the amount of economic damage. At the stage of determining the importance of the above criteria, the study is carried out related to possible scenarios of an emergency development. The importance of the criteria is determined by using the methods of expert evaluations, which allow to use decision-making methods: the method of hierarchy analysis and the method of the displaced ideal. The likely violator will seek to have a destructive impact on the vulnerable areas of hazardous production facilities with the prospect of developing an emergency in scenarios with the most destructive consequences. Therefore, the application of multicriteria optimization methods to predict the development of an emergency, in particular, the method of the displaced ideal and the method of hierarchy analysis, will allow to objectively identify among possible combinations of failures the priority scenario, that a potential internal violator will strive to implement. In turn, the determination of vulnerable for committing an act of unlawful interference (through technical influence by the violator) in the production and technological process will allow the preventive use of the method of physical safety barriers to enhance technological safety. The section of the process flow diagram — isomerization reactor furnace at the organic synthesis facility is considered in the article. The method of the displaced ideal and the full method of hierarchy analysis determine the same, the most prioritized combination for the violator. The software implementation of this approach for determining the priority scenario for the development of an emergency will allow to develop the decision-making technology at hazardous production facilities in matters of ensuring industrial safety within the framework of the strategy for the development of artificial intelligence in industry.
