Abstract:
The condensing flow inside the microchannel has gained importance as the microchannel heat exchangers are widely used in the industry. In this study, a number of numerical simulations on condensing flow inside the microchannel were conducted to investigate heat transfer characteristic. Circularmicrochannel geometries with the various diameters were considered. The Volume of Fluid model was used to model twophase flow. The phase change at the saturation temperature was modeled by the Lee model. In the considered geometries, different from the conventional channels, surface tension forces can be importantcomparedto other forces. Therefore, surface tension was considered in the simulations. Constant wall heatflux and constant saturation temperature were applied as simulation conditions, similar to actual operating conditions. The predictions were validated by comparisons with the experimental results that exist in the literature. A satisfactory agreement of the present predictions with the experimental data was observed.

Abstract:
Considering in heat elimination of different oil groove type, simulating accurately heatflux and material parameter through using Fluent UDF function, it is analysed quantificationally how does the lubricant mass flow affecting surface temperature, and when maximum temperature of friction surface is minimum in friction process, cooling lubricant mass flow rate is appropriate mass flow rate. From these analysis, appropriate flow rate is existed in affirmatory oil groove type and load, and different oil groove type has a rather much affect on appropriate lubricant flow rate of multi-disc, radial corner groove need larger flow rate under the condition of adequate heat elimination comparing as double-circle groove.

Abstract:
Boundary slip effect caused by low gas density has an important influence on the thermal environment of the vehicles. Numerical studies on the boundary slip effect and accommodation for moment and energy have been carried out in this paper. The simulations considering slip boundary and surface catalysis are validated with Arc-jet test data. Mechanism and rules of impact on surface heat flux by different boundary slip level (Knudsen number from 0.0028 to 0.05) has been investigated in typical hypersonic flow conditions. The results show that mechanisms of boundary slip effect on mass diffusion heat flux and convective heat flux are different; slip boundary diminishes the convective heat, whereas enhances the mass diffusion heat flux. Smaller moment and energy accommodation coefficient is equivalent to more rarefaction. As Knudsen number goes up, the influences of accommodation on heatflux are enhanced, it mainly affects the convective heat flux.

Abstract:
In the introduction a traction circuit is analyzed with different types of electric devices. The thesis describes power railway electric circuits, their loads and types of used contactors. Railway standards chapter summarizes requirements of standards for railway contactors. Follows literature focusing on power current switching and power switching devices design. Based on previous, a design procedure is developed for railway MV contactor in accordance with end-user and standards requirements. Thesis closes with pre-designing a railway contactor by calculating electrodynamic forces, heatflow and mechanical components.
