Abstract:
Introduction. Systematic evaluation is an integral part of the organization and delivery of community oral health care programmes, ensuring the effectiveness of these community-based interventions. This study aimed to assess the knowledge and practice of primary health care (PHC) personnel regarding their duties toward oral health. Methods and Material. A cross-sectional study was carried out among three groups of PHC personnel in the city of Kerman (Iran). Volunteer personnel completed a piloted questionnaire which included demographic data, some question regarding their knowledge about oral health, their duties and also their practice regarding public oral health. All data were analyzed using chi-square and Pearson correlation test. Results. One hundred and fifty-seven out of 225 eligible personnel participated in the study. Sixty percent were auxiliary health workers (Behvarz). All personnel had a good level of knowledge regarding oral health. Despite significant differences among the knowledge of the personnel toward oral health, there was no significant difference between their knowledge related to their duties regarding oral health. The auxiliary health worker group had a higher rate (45.6%) for better public oral health practice. Conclusion. The study showed the personnel have good knowledge of their duties regarding oral health. However, their practice is not in line with their knowledge and needs more attention.

Abstract:
From 1948 to 1994 South Africa was under the repressive Apartheid regime. Among many other actions taken to ensure white South Africans maintained power, the regime put in place discriminatory health policies that deprived black South Africans of equitable health care. As the apartheid era came to an end in 1994, the newly elected African National Congress sought to prioritize equity by creating the National Health Act. Despite this, major disparities in health care persist. Te purpose of this case study is to shed light on such disparities in the South African health system by using maternal health as a proxy. Mothers living in rural areas continually contend with barriers to access, afordability and availability. Rural areas account for about 46% of South Africa’s population but service provision is only 12% and 19% of the nation’s doctors and nurses respectively. The lack of medical professionals in these areas make it difcult for mothers to receive vital procedures, such as emergency obstetric care, without traveling unmanageable distances. Moreover, high transport costs ofset progress made by the elimination of out-of-pocket expenses and continues to make the cost of accessing care prohibitively expensive, accounting at times for 51.4% of household income.

Abstract:
Web based applications have become an important part of daily life as it improves inefficient resources management while saving time. With the advancement of technology, every business sector tries to introduce software systems with smart features Life has become too busy to schedule and keep up with pets' necessary medical appointments and care. There are currently a smaller number of online applications for veterinary systems. So, this study designs an online system to fill up that research gap. In this project, a JavaScript based application is designed with features such as booking an appointment by checking a doctor's availability and all those details are going to store in a database. This also records all the details of the dogs that come to the hospital for daily treatments. With the help of daily clinical data, veterinary health care owners can easily identify active clients and give offers easily. Moreover, newly introduced features are caused to increase the efficiency and maintenance of the system. However, this application addresses not only the pet lovers’ difficulties regarding the veterinary health, but it also addresses management side problems as well. This system is designed and implemented not only for the pets, but also considering orphan dogs. So, this system provides volunteer service as well.

Abstract:
Health policy and planning play pivotal roles in the effective management of healthcare systems. These aspects encompass the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and regulations to optimize healthcare delivery. Robust health policies ensure equitable access, quality care, and cost-effectiveness, while planning entails resource allocation, infrastructure development, and workforce distribution. Successful health management systems hinge on evidence-based policies, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability to evolving health challenges. This abstract highlights the critical interplay between policy formulation and strategic planning, emphasizing their indispensable contributions to achieving efficient, accessible, and sustainable healthcare services.
