Abstract:
Az elmúlt évtizedekben az aktív turizmus egyik legdinamikusabban fejlődő ága Európában a havas sportokat magába foglaló sportturizmus. Bár Magyarország földrajzi adottságai miatt korlátozottan állnak rendelkezésre a havas sportokat kedvelők igényeit kielégítő hazai pálya-rendszerek, a fogyasztók száma mégis meghaladja a félmillió főt. A magyar sízők és snowboardosok jelentős része rendszeresen látogatja a környező országok pályarendszereit. A havas sportokat fogyasztók túlnyomó többsége szabadidős jelleggel, kikapcsolódásként űzi e tevékenységet. Képzettségükben, tudásszintjükben jelentős különbségek vannak. Tanulmányunkban egy 2020 telén végzett nem reprezentatív felmérés alapján a havas sportokat űző hazai fogyasztók előképzettségét, sportoktatás-igénybevételi szokásait, elégedettségét és tudásuk szintjét kívánjuk vizsgálni saját megítélésükből kiindulva.

Abstract:
O artigo analisa as críticas de Machado de Assis (1839-1908) à telegrafia e sua resistência à informação telegráfica como novo paradigma do discurso jornalístico. Em 1875, um ano apenas após a inauguração do cabo submarino transatlântico, a agência Havas-Reuter abria seus escritórios no Brasil, marcando o início da incorporação do país a uma rede global de comunicações telegráficas. As crônicas do escritor, publicadas entre 1870- 1890, mostram que a modernização tecnológica da imprensa gerou tensões e controvérsias, ameaçando desestabilizar os fortes vínculos entre a literatura e o jornalismo. As invectivas irônicas de Machado de Assis contra a agência Havas revelam seu engajamento nas políticas da imprensa local, por oposição à acelerada internacionalização do mercado de notícias na segunda metade do século XIX.

Pluraj tiuj esprimoj indikas la originon au genezon de lingvo, dum aliaj indikas ĝian komunikan funkcion. Kelkaj miksas la du kategoriojn. Inter la terminoj priskribantaj originon aǔ genezon, "artefarita" ofte havas pejorativan implicon. Ĝi ankaǔ havas seson da malsamaj signifoj. La terminon "konstruita lingvo" kreis Jespersen, sed ankaǔ al ĝi mankas koloro. Wüster kreis la terminon germane Plansprache (planlingvo). L'agence havas, depuis 1923, a toujours ete un acteur de premier plan dans le developpement de la radio, puis de la television privee en france. La these analyse le role de l'agence havas et de ses diverse filiales dans l'audiovisiel depuis la creation de radiola en 1923, jusuq'a celle de canal plus en 1984. Elle se termine lors de la privation d'havas en 1987. Elle decrit les reseaux d'alliances industrielles et bancaires qui concouent a ces developpements, les relations entretenues avec l'etat francais, ainsi que les strategies d'internationalisation d'havas. Abordant la question des dynamiques internes d'havas, elle modelise l'agence sous la forme d'un systeme dynamique instable, complexe possedant des proprietes auto-organisatrices lui permettant de faire face a des agressions externes par des desorganisations suivies de reorganisations a un niveau de complexite plus elevee
Since 1923, the agence havas has been a first rank actor in private radios and television developpement in france. This thesis analyses the role of agence havas and of its various subsidiaries in the audiovisual sector, from the creation of radiola in 1923, until the birth of canal plus in 1984. It ends in 1987 with the privatization of havas. It describes the industrial and bancary links networks which enforces these developpements, the relationship with the french government, as well as the internationalization strategies of havas. Considering havas internal dynamics, it describes the agency as a complex and unstable dynamic system, owning self organizing properties which allow it facing external assaults by desorganizations, followed by reorganizations at a more complex level

ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to explore parallels between ‘The New Approach to violin playing’, which was developed by the Hungarian violinist Kató Havas, and the Alexander Technique, a method known for promoting kinaesthetic awareness and mind-body coordination. The specific objectives of the study are to identify the parallels between the two methods, and to obtain a deeper understanding of the New Approach, by using the Alexander Technique as a construct through which to examine the method. The study aims to illuminate some of the reasons for the reported efficacy of the New Approach, and to point the way towards achieving unity of mind and body in an expressive violin technique. Although the Alexander Technique is widely used and applied by musicians in order to improve their performance, problems are sometimes encountered in applying the Technique to the finer aspects of instrumental technique. A method of violin tuition that incorporates principles and procedures similar to those found in the Alexander Technique could bridge this gap and prove to be a very powerful tool in coordinating mind and movement in violin playing. It is the purpose of this study to show that ‘The New Approach to violin playing’ is such a method, and as such deserves to be more widely known. The research was conducted within a qualitative paradigm, using a multimethodological approach. An extensive comparative literature study of the two methods was combined with practical experience gained through regular Alexander lessons, and participation in New Approach lessons with Kató Havas and her personal representative, Gloria Bakhshayesh. The New Approach, like the Alexander Technique, is essentially a search for awareness, especially in the relationship between the player and the instrument. The particular value of the New Approach lies in the fact that Havas combines her expert knowledge of violin technique with an intuitive understanding of the conditions necessary for the optimal psychophysical functioning of the violinist. Through organising these principles into a systematised method, Havas makes the acquisition of an expressive technique more accessible to all.
AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Die doel van hierdie studie is om ooreenkomste te ondersoek tussen ‘The New Approach to violin playing’ van die Hongaarse violiste, Kató Havas, en die Alexander-tegniek, ’n metode bekend daarvoor om kinestetiese bewustheid en geestelik-liggaamlike koordinasie te verhoog. Die spesifieke doel van die studie is om ooreenkomste tussen bogenoemde werkwyses te identifiseer, en om ’n beter begrip van die ‘New Approach’ te vekry, deur die Alexander-tegniek as ’n raamwerk te gebruik waardeur die metode bestudeer word. Die studie poog om sekere motiverings vir die effektiwiteit van die ‘New Approach’ uit te lig, en om die weg te wys na die verwesenliking van geestelik-fisieke eenheid in ’n ekspressiewe viooltegniek. Alhoewel die Alexander-tegniek dikwels deur uitvoerende musici gebruik word om hul spelvermoë te verbeter, word probleme soms ondervind in die toepassing van die tegniek op die fyner aspekte van instrumentale spel. ’n Metode van vioolonderrig wat beginsels en prosesse soortgelyk aan díé van die Alexander-tegniek insluit, sou hierdie probleem kon oorkom en as kragtige middel kon dien vir die koördinasie van denke en ligaamlike beweging in vioolspel. Hierdie studie poog om te illustreer dat die ‘New Approach’ hierdie kwaliteite het, en as sulks meer blootstelling aan vioolonderwysers verdien. In hierdie ondersoek is gebruik gemaak van ’n multi-metodologiese benadering binne ’n kwalitatiewe navorsingsparadigma. ’n Vergelykende literatuurstudie van die Alexander-tegniek en ‘The New Approach to violin playing’ is gekombineer met praktiese ervaring wat vekry is deur middel van gereelde Alexander lesse, asook deelname aan ‘New Approach’ lesse met Kató Havas en haar persoonlike verteenwoordiger, Gloria Bakhshayesh. Die ‘New Approach’ – net soos die Alexander-tegniek – is in wese ’n soeke na bewustheid, veral in die interaksie tussen die violis en die instrument. Die besondere waarde van die ‘New Approach’ is dat Havas haar gesaghebbende kennis van viooltegniek gekombineer het met ’n intuïtiewe begrip vir die optimale psigofisiese funksionering van die violis. Deur hierdie beginsels in ’n sistematiese metode te orden, skep Havas die moontlikheid om ’n ekspressiewe viooltegniek aan almal beskikbaar te stel.

Les agences de presse se constituent en europe au xixeme siecle : l'agence havas en 1832, a paris ; la continental telegraphen compagnie en 1849 a berlin et la reuter's telegram company en 1851 a londres. Les << trois grandes >> s'assurent des 1859 le monopole des nouvelles et la mise en place de reseaux de transmission internationaux. Le developpement des activites de bourse a partir des annees 1850 appelle la constitution de services agenciers specialises dont la fiabilite et la rapidite assurent la bonne marche des affaires et la connexion des marches boursiers europeens. Les dimensions commerciales des activites agencieres impliquent des attitudes specifiques, se traduisant par une certaine propension a menager les susceptibilites. Le cas des relations entre abonnes financiers et l'agence havas montre tout particulierement les multiples degres d'influence agissant sur les structures agencieres. Flux et reseaux agenciers sont l'empreinte de preoccupations geopolitiques et geoeconomiques. Rapidite et discretion des informations financieres temoignent de la meme facon de l'interference entre milieux financiers et agenciers.

Apres la premiere guerre mondiale, le monde des agences de presse connait des changements consecutifs a la nouvelle carte politique et diplomatique issue du conflit. L'agence francaise et mondiale havas signe, en 1923 >> un contrat avec la nouvelle agence bolchevique rosta, qui deviendra l'agence tass en 1925. Au meme moment, la france reconnait le nouvel etat sovietique : les premiers ambassadeurs et agenciers arrivent a moscou. Le fonctionnement du bureau havas entre 1924 et 1938 met en lumiere les difficultes du travail de correspondant en urss. Ces difficultes sont accentuees par la collaboration peu harmonieuse entre les agences tass et havas, due a une conception differente du role de l'information. Parallelement, les relations etroites entre le ministere des affaires etrangeres et l'agence havas sont revelatrices de l'enjeu diplomatique present dans la production et la diffusion de l'information. De 1936 a 1938, la couverture des trois proces de moscou precise les contraintes pesant sur la production des depeches et devoile les strategies des differents acteurs impliques dans la relation de 1'evenement.

Le milieu du XIXe siècle voit émerger un nouveau format d’écriture qui se répand rapidement dans les journaux : la dépêche télégraphique d’agence. Quel est cet objet inédit à l’apparence modeste mais qui pourrait bien avoir changé le journalisme ? Si les agences sont des acteurs économiques, qui entretiennent de surcroît des liens étroits avec le gouvernement, en Prusse comme en France, elles sont donc fort éloignées des idéaux journalistiques des hommes de presse du XVIIIe siècle. La dépêche télégraphique représente pourtant une manière d’écrire en journalisme qui peut être considérée comme novatrice et moderne. La dépêche télégraphique se situe à l’intersection de champs conflictuels, le politique, l’économie, le journalisme, et se développe dans un aller-retour entre l’international et le national, en tant qu’objet transculturel qui s’impose aux différents contextes culturels journalistiques. La conquête télégraphique de l’espace ainsi que l’accélération de la communication – sont les caractéristiques majeures du texte télégraphique. Pour cerner l’essence de la poétique télégraphique, nous explorons la relation singulière que les dépêches nouent entre les lieux et le temps sous différents angles, celui du territoire télégraphique et de la représentation de l’international, de l’imaginaire de la technique, ainsi que la circulation des informations agencières et de l’écriture en réseau
In the mid-nineteenth century a new writing format emerged that quickly spread across the newspapers: the agencies’ telegraphic dispatch. What is this unprecedented, modest-looking object that would have such an impact on journalism? The news agencies are mainly economic actors whose sole purpose is the maximization of their profits, and who have close relationships with the governments in France and in Prussia. They are not even close to the journalistic ideals that were shared by eighteenth century media men. At the same time, the telegraphic dispatch represents a way of writing in journalism that can be considered as innovative and modern. The telegraphic dispatch is at the intersection of conflicting fields – politics, economics and journalism – and develops between the international and the national level, as a cross-cultural object that imposes itself on different journalistic cultural contexts. The telegraphic conquest of space as well as the acceleration of communication are the major features of the telegraphic text. The three parts of this thesis – writing the international, imagining the telegraph, organizing the network – discuss this relation between place and time from different perspectives. To approach the essence of the telegraphic poetics, we examine the dispatches from different angles: the telegraphic territory and the representation of what is supposed to be “international”, the imaginary of technology and the human’s interaction with it, as well as the circulation of the information and the writing procedures within the agencies’ network

Abstract:
The process of coset enumeration has become a significant factor in group theoretical investigations since the advent of modern computing power, but in some respects the process is still not well understood. This thesis investigates some features of coset enumeration, working mainly with the group F(2,7). Chapter 1 describes the characteristics of coset enumeration and algorithms used for it. A worked example of the method is provided. Chapter 2 discusses some features which would be desirable in computer programs for use in investigating the coset enumeration process itself, and reviews the Havas/Alford program which to date best meets the requirements. Chapter 3 deals with the use of coset ammeration in proofs, either in its own right or as a basis for other workings. An example of one attempt to obtain a proof by coset enumeration is given. Chapter 4 reviews techniques designed to reduce the length of coset enumerations and proposes the 'equality list' technique as a way to reduce enumeration length for some groups. Extra insights obtainable using the equality list method are also discussed. Chapter 5 summarises the factors by which the success of different coset enumerations can be compared and proposes an algorithm for making systematic comparisons among enumerations. Chapter 6 reports five coset enumerations, obtained manually by three main methods on the group F(2,7). All these enumerations were shorter than is so far obtainable by machine and one is shorter than other known hand enumerations. The enumerations were compared by applying the process developed in Chapter 5. Chapter 7 presents a shorter proof of the cyclicity of the group F(2,7) than was hitherto available. The proof derives from the workings for one of the coset enumerations described in Chapter 6. There are eight appendices and an annotated bibliography. The appendices contain, inter alia, edited correspondence between well-known coset-enumerators, a guide to the Havas/Alford program, further details on the equality list method and listings of various enumerations.

This thesis includes twenty landscape paintings, primarily oil on canvas, inspired by a trip to the Hell's Canyon Country of the Snake River. The search for a personal idiom necessitated introspection, and the visual interpretation of the recalled experience required that formal issues of painting be synthesized to communicate the essential response to the landscape. The images progress from the depiction of deep space to compositions of the component parts of the landscape: trees, water, and rock.

Au 19ème siècle, lorsque l’information devient un outil formidable pour les débuts du capitalisme, les agences européennes d’information se lancent dans la quête de nouveaux débouchés. Ainsi, l’agence britannique Reuters (1851) et l’agence française Havas (1832) s’installent ensemble en Amérique du Sud au début des années 1870 lorsque la pose du câble transatlantique unissant le sous-continent à l’Europe le permet. Ce tandem agencier ne survit pas et, à partir de 1876, l’agence Havas établit un monopole sur le marché sud-américain de l’information, avec des hauts et des bas, jusqu’à la fin de la Première Guerre Mondiale. When information became an important tool for the development of capitalism in the 19th century, international news agencies looked for new territories to expand their business. Through a Joint Purse Agreement, the Reuter’s Telegram Compagny (1851) of London and the Havas Agency (1832) of Paris decided to go together to South America. They were able to accomplish their wishes when the transatlantic cable linking Europe to the South American continent was finally laid down between Brazil and London. As this joint venture ends by 1876, Havas could finally foresee a monopoly of the South American market till the end of the First World War. Based on a thorough research on company and diplomatic archives, this dissertation contributes to the history of news agencies. By dividing the period of study in three phases, each one enhancing one aspect of this information exploitation (the installment strategies, the human components and the rivalry produced by other, local or international, news agencies) this dissertation concludes the partial loss of the French monopoly in the region

Abstract:
This article is about the story of a favorite Jewish song of many people around the world. Hava Nagila is one of the first modern Israeli folk songs in the Hebrew language. It went on to become a staple of band performers at Jewish weddings and bar/bat (b'nei) mitzvah celebrations. The melody is based on a Hassidic Nigun. According to sources, the melody is taken from a Ukrainian folk song from Bukovina. The text was probably the work of musicologist Abraham Zvi Idelsohn, written in 1918. The text was composed in 1918, to celebrate the Balfour Declaration and the British victory over the Turks in 1917. During World War I, Idelsohn served in the Turkish Army as a bandmaster in Gaza, returning to his research in Jerusalem at the end of the war in 1919. In 1922, he published the Hebrew song book, “Sefer Hashirim”, which includes the first publication of his arrangement of the song Hava Nagila.

XIX. yüzyıldan başlayıp günümüze kadar gelişme göstermiş olan uçak teknolojisinin savaş dönemlerinde yarattığı ve yaratacağı tehlikeler, barış dönemlerinde yolcu taşımacılığı güvenliğinin sağlanması ihtiyacı ve ülkelerin kendi ulusal hava sahası güvenliğini sağlama düşüncesi hava sahası güvenliği politikalarını doğurmuştur. Bu amaç doğrultusunda her ülke uluslararası antlaşmalar çerçevesinde hazırlanan bağlayıcı temel ilkeler doğrultusunda ulusal hava sahası güvenlik politikalarını oluşturmaya çalışmıştır. Bu bağlamda Lozan antlaşmasında da bu konu ile alakalı belirlenen ilkeler çerçevesinde Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti kendi hava sahası güvenliğini sağlama çalışmalarında bulunmuştur. Bu çerçevede Lozan Antlaşmasında hava ulaşım güvenliğinin sağlanmasına yönelik hazırlanan bağlayıcı ilkeler doğrultusunda Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Seyrüsefer-i Havâî Kararnamesi hazırlanmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışmada da adı geçen bu kararname analiz edilerek cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında Türk hava sahası güvenliğinin sağlanmasına dair tespitlerde bulunulmuştur. Bu kararnamede 6 bölüm 35 madde, uçuş sahası dahilinde ülkelere verilen rumuzların ne şekilde olduğunu gösteren ve askeri uçak meydanlarındaki ücretlerin belirtildiği iki liste, Lozan antlaşmasında hava faaliyetleri ile alakalı madde ve bölümler ve İstanbul ve Çanakkale boğazlarından geçiş usulüne dair sözleşme maddeleri yer almıştır. Ayrıca Türkiye Cumhuriyeti hava sahasının sınırları, Türk savaş uçakları ve balonlarından başka uçak ve balonların belirlenmiş mevkilerin üstünde uçmalarının ve bu mevkiler dahilinde karaya inmelerinin yasak olduğu ve İzmir, Çatalca, İzmit, Amasra, Samsun, Trabzon, Erzurum mıntıkalarının uçuş sınırları belirtilmiştir. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti hava sınırları dahilinde sivil uçak ve balonların uçuş haklarına sahip olan devletlerin 1919 tarihli uluslararası hava sözleşmesine imza atan devletler olduğu belirtilmiştir. Uluslararası sözleşme dışında kalan ülkelerin ise sivil uçak ve balonlarının Türkiye Cumhuriyeti tarafından belirlenmiş sınırlar dahilinde uçuş haklarına sahip oldukları ve bu hakların da kara ve deniz uçaklarına göre sınıflandırıldığı ifade edilmiştir.

Çevre, canlı ve cansız varlıkların içinde yaşadığı ve birbirleriyle ilişki içerisinde oldukları alandır. İnsanlar ve ilişki içerisinde oldukları her şey çevre kapsamında kabul edildiğinden çevrenin korunması tüm canlılar için önem arz etmektedir. İslam’da her şey bir denge üzerine kuruludur. Bu nedenle bireyler bu dengeyi tahrip etmemeli, korumak için çaba göstermelilerdir. Çalışmamız, çevre kirliliğinin bir türü olan hava kirliliği meselesini ele almaktadır. Günümüzde çevre konusu bağlamında küresel ısınma ve iklim değişikliği gibi problemlerin çözümüne yönelik birçok teşebbüsün olduğu bilinmektedir. Çalışmamızın hareket noktasını oluşturan Kyoto Protokolü de çevre problemlerinin çözümü için atılan adımlardan biridir. İslam hukukundaki mülkiyet anlayışı çerçevesinde Kyoto Protokolü’nde bulunan “emisyon ticareti” meselesini ele alan bu çalışma, protokolün sonuçları doğrultusunda çevre konusunda yapılması gerekenlere dair önerilere yer vermektedir. Bu önerilerden en önemlileri bireyler bazında sorumluluk anlayışının geliştirilmesi, kurumlar bazında ise yasal düzenlemeler yapılmasının gerekliliğidir.
