The main purpose when I do this study is to find and examine the factors affecting job performance of lecturers in universities in general, and in Foreign Trade University (FTU) in particular. I use five factors namely: Work itself, Supervision on present job, Present payment, Present opportunities for promotion, Coworkers, and Achievement in the current work in a research model of satisfaction. The research method used in this study is quantitative method with multivariate statistical analysis steps such as Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, explore descriptive analysis, ANOVA analysis, multi regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that it has various factors that influence different to the job performance of the lecturers. Specifically, the achievement in your present job, this factor is strongest influence on job performance, the present payment is second-highest impact, and the present opportunities for promotion and the works itself have the same effect. Next, others have no significant effect on job performance in FTU. Therefore, to improve the job performance of lecturers the leader should focus more on improving the job achievement and payment for teachers. In addition, the study results also showed some suggestions to further meet the needs of lecturers and also pointed out the limitations of the study.
