Abstract:
We investigate the applicability and usefulness of the GUHA data mining method and its computer implementation LISp-Miner for driver characterization based on digital vehicle data on gas pedal position, vehicle speed, and others. Three analytical questions are assessed: (1) Which measured features, also called attributes, distinguish each driver from all other drivers? (2) Comparing one driver separately in pairs with each of the other drivers, which are the most distinguishing attributes? (3) Comparing one driver separately in pairs with each of the other drivers, which attributes values show significant differences between drivers? The analyzed data consist of 94,380 measurements and contain clear and understandable patterns to be found by LISp-Miner. In conclusion, we find that the GUHA method is well suited for such tasks.

Abstract:
Software defect prediction, if is effective, enables the developers to distribute their testing efforts efficiently and let them focus on defect prone modules. It would be very resource consuming to test all the modules while the defect lies in fraction of modules. Information about fault-proneness of classes and methods can be used to develop new strategies which can help mitigate the overall development cost and increase the customer satisfaction. Several machine learning strategies have been used in recent past to identify defective modules. These models are built using publicly available historical software defect data sets. Most of the proposed techniques are not able to deal with the class imbalance problem efficiently. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a prediction model which consists of small simple and comprehensible rules. Considering these facts, in this paper, the authors propose a novel defect prediction approach named GUHA based Classification Association Rule Mining algorithm (G-CARM) where “GUHA” stands for General Unary Hypothesis Automaton. G-CARM approach is primarily based on Classification Association Rule Mining, and deploys a two stage process involving attribute discretization, and rule generation using GUHA. GUHA is oldest yet very powerful method of pattern mining. The basic idea of GUHA procedure is to mine the interesting attribute patterns that indicate defect proneness. The new method has been compared against five other models reported in recent literature viz. Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, RIPPER, J48 and Nearest Neighbour classifier by using several measures, including AUC and probability of detection. The experimental results indicate that the prediction performance of G-CARM approach is better than other prediction approaches. The authors' approach achieved 76% mean recall and 83% mean precision for defective modules and 93% mean recall and 83% mean precision for non-defective modules on CM1, KC1, KC2 and Eclipse data sets. Further defect rule generation process often generates a large number of rules which require considerable efforts while using these rules as a defect predictor, hence, a rule sub-set selection process is also proposed to select best set of rules according to the requirements. Evolution criteria for defect prediction like sensitivity, specificity, precision often compete against each other. It is therefore, important to use multi-objective optimization algorithms for selecting prediction rules. In this paper the authors report prediction rules that are Pareto efficient in the sense that no further improvements in the rule set is possible without sacrificing some performance criteria. Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm has been used to find Pareto front and defect prediction rules.

Using our idea of restricted convergence domains we extend the applicability of this method. Numerical examples where earlier results cannot apply to solve equations but our results can apply are also given in this study.

I would first of all like to thank the Anthropological Survey of India for inviting me to deliver the Elwin Memorial Lecture at a national seminar on ‘Verrier Elwin and his Field Method’ held at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) in May 2018. I have chosen to speak on ‘Verrier Elwin and his Fieldwork Method’ in view of the paucity of information on the subject, as neither Elwin has written on how he conducted his fieldwork or what his methodology of fieldwork was, nor have others written much about his method of fieldwork. Indeed, many like Enthoven (1946) and Devereux (1946) have written on the richness, soundness and reliability of his data, but they are silent about how he collected his data or what his fieldwork method was like. Among the few who I know have written on Elwin’s fieldwork method are Bhabagrahi Misra ( 1970 , 1971 ), Ramachandra Guha ( 1998 , 1999 ) and Vinay Kumar Srivastava (n.d., ms). I am not aware of the writings of any other author on this subject.

Abstract:
Floods belong to the most hazardous natural disasters and their disaster management heavily relies on precise forecasts. These forecasts are provided by physical models based on differential equations. However, these models do depend on unreliable inputs such as measurements or parameter estimations which causes undesirable inaccuracies. Thus, an appropriate data-mining analysis of the physical model and its precision based on features that determine distinct situations seems to be helpful in adjusting the physical model. An application of fuzzy GUHA method in flood peak prediction is presented. Measured water flow rate data from a system for flood predictions were used in order to mine fuzzy association rules expressed in natural language. The provided data was firstly extended by a generation of artificial variables (features). The resulting variables were later on translated into fuzzy GUHA tables with help of Evaluative Linguistic Expressions in order to mine associations. The found associations were interpreted as fuzzy IF-THEN rules and used jointly with the Perception-based Logical Deduction inference method to predict expected time shift of flow rate peaks forecasted by the given physical model. Results obtained from this adjusted model were statistically evaluated and the improvement in the forecasting accuracy was confirmed.

Abstract:
The GUHA method is one of the oldest methods of exploratory data analysis, which is regarded as part of the data mining or knowledge discovery in databases (KDD) scienti_c area. Unlike many other methods of data mining, the GUHA method has firm theoretical foundations in logic and statistics. In scope of the method, finding interesting knowledge corresponds to finding special formulas in satisfactory rich logical calculus, which is called observational calculus. The main topic of the thesis is application of the "fuzzy paradigm" to the GUHA method By the term "fuzzy paradigm" we mean approaches that use many-valued membership degrees or truth values, namely fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logic. The thesis does not aim to cover all the aspects of this application, it emphasises mainly on: - Association rules as the most prevalent type of formulas mined by the GUHA method - Usage of fuzzy data - Logical aspects of fuzzy association rules mining - Comparison of the GUHA theory to the mainstream fuzzy association rules - Implementation of the theory using the bit string approach The thesis throughoutly elaborates the theory of fuzzy association rules, both using the theoretical apparatus of fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logic. Fuzzy set theory is used mainly to compare the GUHA method to existing mainstream approaches to formalize fuzzy association rules, which were studied in detail. Fuzzy logic is used to define novel class of logical calculi called logical calculi of fuzzy association rules (LCFAR) for logical representation of fuzzy association rules. The problem of existence of deduction rules in LCFAR is dealt in depth. Suitable part of the proposed theory is implemented in the Ferda system using the bit string approach. In the approach, characteristics of examined objects are represented as strings of bits, which in the crisp case enables efficient computation. In order to maintain this feature also in the fuzzy case, a profound low level testing of data structures and algoritms for fuzzy bit strings have been carried out as a part of the thesis.

Abstract:
The aim of this work is to identify the possibilities of the complementary usage of two analytical methods of data analysis, OLAP analysis and data mining represented by GUHA association rule mining. The usage of these two methods in the context of proposed scenarios on one dataset presumes a synergistic effect, surpassing the knowledge acquired by these two methods independently. This is the main contribution of the work. Another contribution is the original use of GUHA association rules where the mining is performed on aggregated data. In their abilities, GUHA association rules outperform classic association rules referred to the literature. The experiments on real data demonstrate the finding of unusual trends in data that would be very difficult to acquire using standard methods of OLAP analysis, the time consuming manual browsing of an OLAP cube. On the other hand, the actual use of association rules loses a general overview of data. It is possible to declare that these two methods complement each other very well. The part of the solution is also usage of LMCL scripting language that automates selected parts of the data mining process. The proposed recommender system would shield the user from association rules, thereby enabling common analysts ignorant of the association rules to use their possibilities. The thesis combines quantitative and qualitative research. Quantitative research is represented by experiments on a real dataset, proposal of a recommender system and implementation of the selected parts of the association rules mining process by LISp-Miner Control Language. Qualitative research is represented by structured interviews with selected experts from the fields of data mining and business intelligence who confirm the meaningfulness of the proposed methods.

The operating sequence of using 4ft-Miner and SD4ft-Miner procedures in ADAMEK data together with the possibility of further use of formalized background knowledge and preparing routing for automatization of the downrighted steps are the objectiv of this thesis. The summary of the basic concepts and axioms of association rules and GUHA method is the content of the theoretical part of the thesis. Operativ part starts from CRISP-DM methodology. The operating sequence enabling searching for interesting association rules in different data, that is applied on STULONG medical data afterwards in order to get instigations for it's revision, is the produce of this thesis. This diploma thesis examines applications of datamining methods to open data. It is realized by solving analytical questions using the LISp-Miner system. Analytical questions are examined in data from The Czech Trade Inspection Authority from the perspective of the data owner. Procedure used to solve analytical questions is 4ft-Miner. There are presented and resolved four analytical questions, which are the results of the work. Work includes a detailed description of the transformation of the relational database into a format suitable for data mining. A detailed description of the data is also included. The theoretical part deals with the GUHA method and CRISP-DM methodology.

A presença e utilização de sistemas de navegação em automóveis no mundo, atualmente, é cada vez maior. Esses sistemas são utilizados por pessoas que necessitam de informações navegacionais para alcançarem seus destinos. Entretanto, em muitos casos, são fornecidas apenas a localização do veículo no visor dos sistemas e setas de direção. Diferentes estudos realizados nos EUA, Inglaterra, Japão e Suécia, buscam analisar quais informações os motoristas selecionam do ambiente urbano a partir de sua memória, para assim indicar e conceber sistemas de navegação com informações que auxiliem os motoristas em sua navegação. Esses estudos apontam que o mapa cognitivo dos motoristas é a melhor fonte de informações de guia de rota, pois possui as informações realmente úteis para auxiliar a navegação em automóveis, o que indica ser necessário conhecer as representações internas do ambiente dos motoristas, para assim conceber sistemas que propiciem maior eficiência navegacional. However, in many cases, are given only the vehicle's location on the systems display and directional arrows. This theses demonstrate practical use of knowledge discovery in the field of cardiac surgery. The tasks of the Department of Cardiac Surgery University Hospital Olomouc are solved through the use of GUHA method and LISp-Miner system. Mitral valve surgery data comes from clinical practice between the years 2002 and 2011. Theoretical part includes chapter on KDD -- type of tasks, methods and methodology and chapter on cardiac surgery -- anatomy and functions of heart, mitral valve disease and diagnostic methods including quantification. Practical part brings solutions of the tasks and whole process is described in the spirit of CRISP-DM.

Abstract:
Historicamente, o sistema para instalação de equipamentos de produção submarina de petróleo por meio de cabos guia, tem sua eficiência comprovada. Porém a grande maioria dos projetos das bases guia submarinas foi calculada por métodos analíticos, que embora permitam a obtenção de respostas exatas em todos os infinitos pontos de uma estrutura, não são aplicáveis a todos os casos. Isso motivou a aplicação do método dos elementos finitos (MEF) neste trabalho, que a partir do desenvolvimento de procedimentos aproximados, pode ser aplicado independentemente da forma da estrutura e das condições de carregamento. O estudo consiste da análise estrutural do modelo tridimensional da estrutura da base guia, modelado no software Autodesk Inventor e analisado no software ANSYS Workbench. O estudo traz uma pesquisa diagnóstica e utiliza abordagem quantitativa e exploratória. Diferentes modelos matemáticos foram gerados para obtenção dos resultados nos pontos mais críticos da estrutura, a fim de se determinar sua resistência aos esforços de instalação e operação aplicados, levando em consideração os critérios estabelecidos nas normas DNV No. 2.7-3, API 17D 1.ed. e a tensão equivalente de von-Mises.
Historically, the guideline system for installation of subsea oil production equipment has proven its efficiency. However the majority of the subsea guide base designs have been calculated by analytical methods, although they allow obtaining exact answers in all infinite points of a structure, they are not applicable to all cases. This motivated the application of the finite element analysis method (FEA) in this work, which from the development of approximate procedures can be applied regardless of the structure shape and loading conditions. This paper consists of a structural analysis of the guide base frame model, generated in Autodesk Inventor software and analyzed in ANSYS Workbench software. This study brings a diagnostic research using a quantitative and exploratory approach. Different mathematical models were generated to obtain the results at the most critical points of the structure in order to determine its resistance to the loads applied during installation and operation, taking into account the criteria laid down in DNV No. 2.7-3, API 17D 1st Ed. and the von-Mises equivalent stress.

São modelos obtidos a partir de fatias das guia de ondas e modeladas pelo Método dos Elementos Finitos (MEF) e pelo Método do Elemento Espectral (SEM), também conhecidos como Método de Propagação de Ondas por Elementos Finitos (Wave Finite Element Method - WFEM) e Método de Propagação de Ondas por Elementos Espectrais (Wave Spectral Element Method - WSEM), respectivamente. Exemplos de guia de ondas podem ser encontrados em diferentes tipos de estruturas tais como, os trilhos de trem, tubulações e até mesmo em estruturas complexas tipo a fuselagem de um avião e outras. Este trabalho apresenta uma extensão destes métodos de guias de ondas para a modelagem com elementos de barra de alta ordem. Os métodos foram implementados computacionalmente em códigos Matlab e os resultados são comparados com os do Método do Elemento Espectral (Spectral Element Method - SEM), do Método dos Elementos Finitos e com os do modelo analítico da Placa de Rayleigh-Lamb. Três elementos de barra de alta ordem são formulados: o modelo de Love (ou de Um modo), o modelo de Mindlin-Herrmann (ou de Dois modos) e o modelo de Doyle (ou de Três modos). O método é avaliado através de exemplos simulados computacionalmente e os resultados são analisados e comparados com aqueles da literatura
Abstract: In order to overcome the current limitations in the dynamic analysis of structures at middle and high frequencies and taking advantage of the periodic nature of many of these structures, in recent years, waveguide methods were developed. Models are obtained from slices of patterned waveguides, were developed by Finite Element Method (FEM) and Spectral Element Method, also known as Wave Finite Element Method - WFEM and Wave Spectral Element Method - WSEM. Examples of waveguides can be found in different types of structures such as the railroad tracks, pipelines and even complex structures like the fuselage of an airplane and others. This work presents an extension of these waveguides methods to model high order rod elements. The methods were implemented in Matlab codes and the results are compared with Spectral Element Method - SEM, Finite Element Method and the analytical Rayleigh-Lamb plate model. Three high order bar elements are formulated: the Love's model (or one mode), the Mindlin-Herrmann's model (or two modes) and the Doyle's model (or three modes). The method is evaluated through computationally simulated examples and the results are analyzed and compared with those of the literature

MTCR adalah sebuah asosiasi non-traktat informal yang ditetapkan negara G-7 tahun 1987. MTCR bertujuan membatasi dan mengawasi alih teknologi yang dapat berperan dalam teknologi misil, WMD, dan teknologi guna ganda. Saat ini beranggotakan 34 negara, dan India bukan anggota MTCR, bahkan pada awalnya India menentang MTCR. Walaupun bukan negara anggota, India berhasil mengatasi hambatan alih teknologi dari MTCR, dan saat ini telah mempunyai kemampuan dalam teknologi wahana peluncur dan misil. Pada Juni 2015 India secara resmi mengajukan menjadi anggota MTCR. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis mengapa India dalam posisinya sekarang mengajukan menjadi anggota MTCR. Metoda yang digunakan ialah deskriptif yang menggambarkan MTCR, dinamika India dalam mencapai kemampuan teknologi antariksa. Dengan menggunakan konsep kepentingan nasional untuk keamanan, analisis menghasilkan bahwa alasan India mengajukan menjadi anggota MTCR ialah (i) MTCR menjadi platform penting untuk akses ke teknologi wahana peluncur dan misil, sehingga dapat memperkuat kemampuannya untuk kepentingan keamanan, (ii) turut serta dalam pengawasan penyebaran teknologi guna ganda yang apabila jatuh ke negara nakal dapat berimplikasi terhadap keamanan India, (iii) akan memperoleh kepercayaan dalam kerja sama dengan negara anggota dan non anggota MTCR untuk kepentingan keamanan negaranya, (iv) faktor dukungan AS dengan tujuan akhirnya meningkatkan dan memperbesar kekuatan keamanan India, (v) Faktor Tiongkok yang apabila menjadi anggota MTCR akan memberikan akses lebih besar untuk berpartisipasi dalam teknologi tinggi, dan perdagangan teknologi sensitif ke negara sekutu Tiongkok sehingga dapat mengancam keamanan India.

Dari Pasal 76-83 dan rumusan Pasal-pasal lain, tidak ditemukan rumusan ketentuan/norma/ pasal yang mengatur tentang faktor atau unsur penyebab terjadinya kerugian dan atau tuntutan tanggung jawab pada penyelenggaraan keantariksaan. Penegasan yang ada adalah bahwa dalam Pasal 83 Undang-undang menyebutkan: Ketentuan lebih lanjut mengenai tanggung jawab dan ganti rugi sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 76-83 diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah. Kajian ini bertujuan menentukan faktor/unsur penyebab terjadinya kerugian dan tuntutan tanggung jawab pada penyelenggaraan keantariksaan guna mendapatkan konsep rumusan aturan tentang faktor/ unsur penyebab dimaksud. Kajian dilakukan dengan analisis yuridis deskriptif dan metode adopsi, adaptasi dan atau modifikasi atas faktor/unsur penyebab terjadinya kerugian dan tuntutan tanggung jawab pada penyelenggaraan keantariksaan negara lain dan referensi terkait. Berdasarkan kajian faktor/unsur penyebab tanggung jawab dan ganti rugi adalah peristiwa, kecelakaan, kerugian, bencana dan kematian.

Tanaman tebu merupakan salah satu komoditas penghasil gula yang mampu meningkatkan perekonomian Indonesia. Guna mempertahakan produktivitas tebu pemerintah berupaya meningkatkan penanaman tebu untuk mengatasi rendahnya produksi gula di Indonesia. Gula menjadi salah satu kebutuhan pokok yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat dan industri yang pada saat ini masih terus menjadi permasalahan karena industri gula dalam negeri belum mampu memenuhi permintaan masyarakat terhadap gula dan sementara kebutuhan gula dalam negeri dari tahun ke tahun terus mengalami peningkatan. Salah satu faktor yang dihadapi industri gula di Indonesia dalam bidang on-farm adalah keterbatasan lahan tebu. Lahan sebagai sarana produksi merupakan bagian dari faktor produksi. Luas penguasaan lahan pertanian merupakan sesuatu yang sangat penting dalam proses produksi ataupun usaha tani dan usaha pertanian. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi luas lahan dengan produksi tanaman tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.) di Kabupaten Jember. Pelaksanaan penelitian pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan Desember 2020. Tempat pelaksanaannya di Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Jember dan Politeknik Negeri Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis korelasi dengan variabel (X) adalah luas lahan dan variabel (Y) adalah produksi tebu di Kabupaten Jember selama 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan terhadap produksi tebu di Kabupaten Jember menunjukkan korelasi positif dengan tingkat hubungan yang sangat rendah antara luas lahan dengan produksi tebu di Kabupaten Jember.

Iklim merupakan salah satu penentu keberhasilan swasembda gula di Indonesia. Curah hujan merupakan salah satu unsur iklim yang sangat penting dalam budidaya tebu. Sehingga curah hujan menjadi faktor penting dalam memenentukan rendemen tebu yang dihasilkan. Salah satu faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi rendemen tebu adalah dosis pemupukan.Unsur hara yang diberikan pada tanaman tebu turut mempengaruhi kadar gula yang dihasilkan tanman tebu. Rendemen tebu adalah kadar kandungan gula didalam batang tebu yang dinyatakan dengan persen. PG Asembagoes adalah salah satu pabrik gula yang ada di Jawa Timur milik PTPN XI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh curah hujan dan pemupukan terhadap rendemen tebu di PG Asembagus Situbondo. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisi regresi dengan curah hujan dan pemupukan sebagai veriabel bebas dan rendemen tebu sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan dan pemupukan secara simultan atau bersamaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap rendemen tebu di PG. Asembagus dengan persamaan regresinya adalah y=4,373+0,0167Curah Hujan+0,0022Pemupukan dan besarnya koefisien determinasi 75,08%. Model regresi. ini diharapkan mampu memberikan rekomendasi serta kebijakan guna perbaikan produksi di PG Asembagus Situbondo.

Pendapatan yang layak sangat diharapkan oleh semua pelaku agribisnis tebu, dikarenakan sangat berkaitan dengan eksistensi budidaya dan kesejahteraannya, apa lagi pada era pandemic covid-19 ini. Namun dalam lima tahun terakhir, pendapatan petani tebu secara nasional menurun, sehingga diperlukan upaya agar pendapatannya meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun model kebijakan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan agribisnis tebu di Kecamatan Karangsuwung Kabupaten Cirebon. Waktu penelitian pada bulan September–November 2020. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi penelitian adalah petani tebu di Wilayah Kerja Pabrik Gula Sindang Laut Rayon Pabrik Gula Karangsuwung yang berjumlah 129 orang dan besar sampel ditentukan sebesar 57 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dan untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan sobel test. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan terdapat pengaruh langsung dari variabel perbaikan pola pembiayaan (kredit) budidaya tebu (X1) dan perbaikan pola harga pokok produksi/harga patokan petani (HPP) dan tata niaga gula nasional (X4) terhadap peningkatan pendapatan agribisnis tebu (Y) dan terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung dari variabel perbaikan pola pembiayaan (kredit) budidaya tebu (X1) dan perbaikan produktivitas (X2) terhadap peningkatan pendapatan agribisnis tebu (Y) melalui perbaikan pola harga pokok produksi/harga patokan petani (HPP) dan tata niaga gula nasional (X4). Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi lokal dan nasional tentang model peningkatan pendapatan agribisnis tebu rakyat.

Persaingan ketat di industri kreatif sub-sektor kuliner saat ini menjadi fokus utama pemerintah. Dibentuknya klasterisasi bertujuan untuk memberikan sinergi antar pelaku usaha dan mengembangkan industri kreatif. Kota Malang mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan pada industri kreatif subsektor kuliner dalam dua tahun terakhir. Dimana 20.000 pendatang berupa mahasiswa baru per tahunnya dapat menjadi target pasar yang tepat bagi pelaku usaha industri kreatif sub-sektor kuliner. Selain itu dukungan alokasi dana desa menjadikan Malang menjadi lokasi yang strategis untuk membuka transaksi jual beli atau sewa guna usaha industri kreatif pada sub-sektor kuliner. Dalam penelitian ini ditentukan faktor bauran pemasaran yakni harga, produk, tempat, promosi, bukti fisik, SDM, dan tempat pada industri kreatif sub-sektor kuliner yang paling dominan guna mempengaruhi keputusan masyarakat untuk membeli dan menjadi konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis bauran pemasaran dengan Smart PLS yang berguna untuk menghitung dan menentukan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap keputusan masyarakat dalam membeli produk dan menjadi pelanggan. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Smart PLS yakni diperoleh faktor paling dominan berupa aspek proses dengan nilai koefisien 0,538. Kemudian diikuti dengan aspek tempat dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,415.

Tembakau adalah produk pertanian semusim yang bukan termasuk dalam komoditas perkebunan. Produk ini dikonsumsi bukan untuk makanan tetapi sebagai pengisi waktu luang yaitu sebagai bahan baku rokok dan cerutu. Tembakau juga dapat dikunyah. Kandungan metabolit sekunder yang kaya juga membuatnya bermanfaat sebagai pestisida dan bahan baku obat. Salah satu tantangan dalam budidaya tembakau adalah adanya organisme pengganggu tanaman. Serangan hama dan penyakit dapat mempengaruhi kualitas maupun kuantitas hasil panen tembakau. Serangan hama dan penyakit yang paling banyak terjadi adalah pada saat fase vegetatif, karena pada vase ini semua bagian tanaman menjadi sasaran makanan bagi organisme pengganggu tanaman. Organisme pengganggu tanaman yang dianggap sebagai hama pada vase vegetattif tanaman tembakau adalah ualt tanah, ulat daun, belalang, kupu, gayas/jangkrik. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Tarutama Nusantara Jember, data yang digunakan adalah data serangan hama yang terjadi pada seluruh kebun milik TTN dari tahun 2013 hingga 2019. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah mengtahui prediksi serangan hama yang akan terjadi guna mempermudah perusahaan dalam menentukan strategi dan kebijakan guna meningkatkan produksi tembakau khususnya sebagai pelapis cerutu dekblad/wrapper. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk memprediksi serangan hama yang terjadi adalah metode regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prediksi serangan hama ulat tanah (Agrotis iplison) tahun 2021 sebesar 15,6%, ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura) sebesar 19,08%, serangan hama belalang sebesar 15,77%, dan serangan hama ketep (Setomorpha rutella) sebesar 15,23%, serta serangan hama jangkrik (Gryllidae) pada tahun 2021 adalah sebesar 8,20%.

Pengentasan kemiskinan dapat dimulai dari lingkup skala mikro yakni adanya pembentukan kampung produktif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Socialpreneur yang bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat guna mendukung upaya pengentasan kemiskinan warga di pedesaan atau perkampungan melalui pendekatan gender, yakni pemberdayaan kaum perempuan melalui Program Kampung Produktif (PKP). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan naratif. Dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut diharapkan kaum perempuan memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dengan menghasilkan produk yang bernilai ekonomis. Sehingga melalui program tersebut seseorang mampu menghasilkan tambahan pendapatan dengan produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi melalui kemapanan teknologi madani.

Abstract:
Kebijakan dividen merupakan keputusan apakah laba yang diperoleh perusahaan akan dibagikan kepada pemegang saham sebagai dividen atau akan ditahan dalam bentuk laba ditahan guna pembiayaan investasi dimasa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Profitabilitas, Kebijakan Hutang dan Pertumbuhan Perusahaan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuntitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2017-2019. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 36 sampel dengan jumlah 12 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif, analisi regresi data panel dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan program Eviews 9. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen sedangkan kebijakan hutang dan pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen.

Abstract:
There is an increasing problem in getting quality water for developing countries. Water system is contaminated and without proper treatment, it has been consumed as drinking water. It is a big problem for health. Escherichia coli (E.coli) is the main cause for the contamination of water and illness in people. Early detection of E.coli presence in the drinking water followed by subsequent treatment for elimination of E.coli can solve this problem. The present work developed a new method for detecting E.coli in contaminated water using microspot with integrated wells (MSIW). The method involves the fabrication of MSIW, coating the MSIW with enzyme substrates such as 4-MUG substrate (4-Methylumbelliferyl-β-D-glucuronide, trihydrate) and Red-Gal substrate (6-Chloro-3-indolyl-β-D-galactoside) in proper medium and dispensing the contaminated water into MSIW. GlucuronidaseA (gusA) gene in E.coli encodes the beta-D-Glucuronidase (GUS) to hydrolyze the substrate 4-MUG enzymatically which leads to the generation of the fluorigenic compound 4-MU. β-galactosidase enzyme in E.coli produces red color when it reacts with Red-Gal substrate. Using portable optical readers, average color/fluorescence intensity emitting by MSIW is measured and quantified. Comparing obtained intensity values with calibrated intensity values, the level of contamination can be predicted for early warnings.

Abstract:
The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia caused anxiety to families, so there was no effective family communication in the event of a disaster. This research aims to find a strategic family communication model in addressing COVID-19 through heart-to-heart communication. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview data collection techniques, focus group discussions, and simulation of Gending Dhandang Gula Corona. The subjects of this study were families affected by COVID-19 in Ngandong Village. The results of this study found a model of strategic family communication in dealing with COVID-19 through heart-to-heart communication. Heart-to-heart communication affects a positive spirit, the soul influences positive feelings, feelings influence positive thoughts, thoughts affect positive attitudes, and attitudes influence positive behavior. Positive behavior makes a disaster-resilient family. Disaster resilient families are developed by applying heart-to-heart communication. The contribution of this research in the form of family strategic communication models and policies in addressing COVID-19 through heart-to-heart communication.
