Abstract:
Gliosarcoma (GSM), a histologic variant of glioblastoma (GBM), carries a poor prognosis with less than one year of median survival. Though GSM is similar with GBM in most clinical and pathological symptoms, GBM has unique molecular and histological features. However, as the rarity of GSM samples, the genetic information of this tumor is still lacking. Here, we take a comprehensive analysis of DNA copy number variations (CNV) in GBM and GSM. Whole genome sequencing was performed on 21 cases of GBM and 15 cases of GSM. CNVKIT is used for CNV calling. Our data showed that chromosomes 7, 8, 9, and 10 were the regions where CNV frequently happened in both GBM and GSM. There was a distinct CNV signal in chromosome 2 especially in GSM. The pathway enrichment of genes with CNV was suggested that the GBM and GSM shared the similar mechanism of tumor development. However, the CNV of some screened genes displayed a disparate form between GBM and GSM, such as AMP, BEND2, HDAC6, FOXP3, ZBTB33, TFE3, and VEGFD. It meant that GSM was a distinct subgroup possessing typical biomarkers. The pathways and copy number alterations detected in this study may represent key drivers in gliosarcoma oncogenesis and may provide a starting point toward targeted oncologic analysis with therapeutic potential.

Abstract:
Introduction: Gliosarcoma is a rare histopathologic variant of glioblastoma traditionally associated with a poor prognosis.We present two cases of Gliosarcoma treated in our department. Discussion: Gliosarcoma (GSM) is a variant of glioblastoma (GBM), the most common primary malignant brain tumor that occurs in adults. GSM is characterized by its biphasic components: the gliomatous and sarcomatous components and categorized into primary and secondary GSM. Intrinsic to the brain parenchyma, GSM is usually managed by gross total resection, and radiotherapy with/without chemotherapy. Conclusion: Despite the notable advances and improvement in overall survival (OS), a consensus on the optimal treatment for GSM patients is unclear.

The study and development of new therapies for genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) remain an area of focus in modern gynecology. The relevance and need for scientific research in this area are undeniable due to the significant negative impact of GSM on patients' quality of life. At this point, however, a great deal of controversy is arising as the knowledge of the treatment of GSM-associated disorders deepens. Local hormonal therapy remains the "gold standard" for vulvovaginal atrophy treatment, but alternative therapies for GSM are launching in the pharmaceutical market. Have we got more answers? Yes. Have we got more questions? Sure. So why does the very fact of studying GMS require us to be so pedantic and focus the attention of the entire global medical community? Let's get to the bottom of this.

On the analysis of logistics information collecting techniques (including the Unified Information System, The Internet Of Things, Global System for Mobile Communication ), the paper puts forward solutions and innovative ways to operate the system based on Unified Information System (UIS) in The Internet Of Things (IOT). GSM information collection, which is based on the UIS, has integrated the technologies of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), GSM, and Computer Telecommunication Integration (CTI). With the unique characteristics of business processes of UIS and IOT, the systematic design has carried out the technical construction and interactive system design on the brandboard adjustment program of GSM information collection model, the anti-collision technique as well as Network Communication Program of GMS model controlled by AT command. This design has realized the exchange between the logistics information collection and processing and GSM network by the way of adopting the TC35i Single Chip Processor Control System, as a result, it has formed the distributed link for the logistics information system, and identified the feasibility of GSM information collecting system applied in this system.

Abstract:
Genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) causes significant symptomatic aggravation that affects the quality of life (QoL). Vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA), the hallmark of GSM, is managed with topical non-hormonal therapy, including moisturizers and lubricants, and topical estrogen application. Patients not responding/being unsatisfied with previous local estrogen therapies are candidates for a noninvasive modality. Carbon dioxide (CO2) laser therapy, especially the fractionated type (FrCO2), has drawn considerable attention over the past two decades as a non-invasive treatment for GSM. This systematic review describes the accumulated evidence from 40 FrCO2 laser studies (3466 participants) in GSM/VVA. MEDLINE, Scopus and Cochrane databases were searched through April 2021. We analyze the effects of FrCO2 laser therapy on symptoms, sexual function, and QoL of patients with GSM/VVA. As shown in this review, FrCO2 laser therapy for GSM shows good efficacy and safety. This modality has the potential to advance female sexual wellness. Patient satisfaction was high in the studies included in this systematic review. However, there is a lack of level I evidence, and more randomized sham-controlled trials are required. Furthermore, several clinical questions, such as the number of sessions required that determine cost-effectiveness, should be addressed. Also, whether FrCO2 laser therapy may exert a synergistic effect with systemic and/or local hormonal/non-hormonal treatments, energy-based devices, and other modalities to treat GMS requires further investigation. Lastly, studies are required to compare FrCO2 laser therapy with other energy-based devices such as erbium:YAG laser and radiofrequency.

Fifty-six field plantings of `Baccus', `Citation', `Packman', and `Southern Comet' broccoli were made in Charleston, S.C., at 2-week intervals from February to November from 1990 to 1992. The objective was to determine broccoli's response to growing season mean (GSM) temperatures for several important market quality characteristics, such as head shape, color, density, leafiness, and bead size. Regression analysis determined whether quality was more affected by GSM minimum (min) or maximum (max) temperature for each head quality characteristic. Head leafiness and density of `Baccus' were insensitive to GSM min (7.0 to 23.5 °C) and GSM max (17.5 to 32.5 °C) temperatures experienced during these years. `Baccus' head color was unacceptable at <20.3 °C GSM max and head shape was unacceptable at <19.8 and >26.8 °C GSM max. `Citation' head color and leafiness were unacceptable at >20.5 and >20.2 °C GSM max, respectively. Head density of `Citation' was unacceptable at <19.2 and >28.9 °C GSM max and head shape was unacceptable at <18.4 and >25.7 °C GSM max. Quality of `Packman' was unacceptable for head color at <21.0 and >27.3 °C GSM max, head leafiness at >32.0 °C GSM max, head density at <8.4 and >18.0 °C GSM min, and head shape at >22.0 °C GSM max. `Southern Comet' head quality was unacceptable for head color at <9.2 and >16.5 °C GSM min, head leafiness at >32.0 °C GSM max, head density at <8.9 and >16.2 °C GSM min, and head shape at <21.0 and >25.3 °C GSM max. <p>Genital self-mutilation (GSM) is a rare phenomenon. In the majority of cases, GSM is secondary to psychotic illness. Among the non-psychotics, the motives behind GSM are varied. We report a rare case in which a non-psychotic, non-paraphilic patient suffering from excessive sexual drive carried out GSM to curb hypersexuality. Aetiological factors behind GSM are discussed. This case report emphasises that excessive sexual drive may lead to distress and GSM. Effective management of excessive sexual drive and active inquiry into any intentions of GSM in such patients may be helpful in preventing GSM.</p><div> </div>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peluang perpindahan konsumen merek kartu seluler GSM ke merek kartu seluler GSM lainnya serta membuat prediksi peluang perpindahan konsumen merek kartu seluler GSM dikalangan mahasiswa pada masa yang akan datang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner pada mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado. Total sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 87 orang mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Rantai Markov dengan menggunakan software QM 2.2 for window , diperoleh bahwa pada mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UNSRAT pengguna GSM untuk merek AS dan Simpati yang pada awal mendominasi persentase pengguna dan bahkan pada tahun-tahun berikutnya cenderung tetap mendominasi jumlah pengguna GSM. Pada tingkat kedua merek GSM IM3 dan GSM Tri yang mendominasi pengguna GSM, dimana keduanya masing-masing mencapai nilai antara 5-10% dari total pengguna.Dan selanjutnya, merek GSM XL, hanya mampu mencapai angka di bawah 5% saja.Sedangkan merek GSM Axis dan Mentari belum mampu untuk masuk pada pasar dalam populasi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UNSRAT Manado.This study aims to determine the changes of consumers switching between brands of GSM and make predictions of consumer migration opportunities of each brand GSM among students in the future. The data used in the study is primary data collected through a questionnaire on the students of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sam Ratulangi Manado. The number of samples taken was 87 students. Based on markov chain analysis using QM 2.2 sofware for windows, found that the students of the Faculty of Agriculture UNSRAT brand GSM users AS and Simpati as a large percentage of users in early and even in later years tend to continue to dominate the numbers of GSM users. On the second level brand GSM users IM3 and Tri dominating users, where each of them reaches a value between 5-10% of the total users. The next brand GSM XL, only able to reach below 5%. While the brand GSM Axis and Mentari has not been able to enter the market in the agriculture faculty of the college population University of Sam Ratulangi Manado.

ABSTRAKGSM VoIP Gateway digunakan untuk menghubungkan jaringan VoIP dengan jaringan GSM sehingga memungkinkan VoIP client melakukan komunikasi dengan VoIP client lain melalui jaringan GSM sehingga biaya komunikasi dapat ditekan. Pada penelitian ini, telah dirancang dan direalisasikan sistem IP PBX yang dihubungkan ke jaringan GSM menggunakan GSM VoIP Gateway. Evaluasi kinerja GSM VoIP Gateway pada sistem IP PBX dilakukan dengan mengamati nilai parameter Quality of Service (QoS). Komunikasi antara VoIP client dengan GSM VoIP Gateway dikategorikan pada kualitas layanan VoIP yang baik karena memiliki nilai rata-rata jitter ≤ 5,7 ms, packet loss ≤ 0,18% dan delay ≤ 9,41 ms. Komunikasi antara softphone SIPdroid dengan GSM VoIP Gateway memiliki nilai rata-rata jitter 22,58 ms, paket loss 48,68%, dan delay 14,54 ms, hal ini disebabkan karena komunikasi VoIP menggunakan koneksi WiFi. Selain itu perbedaan spesifikasi perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak juga turut mempengaruhi nilai parameter QoS.Kata kunci: GSM VoIP Gateway, IP PBX, VoIP ABSTRACTGSM VoIP Gateway is used to connect the VoIP network to the GSM network, allowing VoIP clients to communicate with other VoIP clients via the GSM network therefore the communication costs can be reduced. In this research, an IP PBX system connected to a GSM network using a GSM VoIP Gateway has been designed and realized. Performance evaluation of the GSM VoIP Gateway on the IP PBX system is carried out by observing the value of the Quality of Service (QoS) parameter. Communication between the VoIP client and GSM VoIP Gateway is categorized as a good quality VoIP service because it has an average value of jitter ≤ 5.7 ms, packet loss ≤ 0.18% and delay ≤ 9.41 ms. Communication between the SIPdroid softphone and the GSM VoIP Gateway has an average jitter value of 22.58 ms, a packet loss of 48.68%, and a delay of 14.54 ms, due to VoIP communication uses a WiFi connection. Abstract:
The aim of this research is to know the displacement made by consumers of GSM cards and predictions of market share when reaching equilibrium conditions for each of the displacements made by consumers of GSM cards. This research uses Markov chain method. Markov chain method produces probabilistic information that can be used to assist for making decision. In Markov’s analysis, the equilibrium conditions are conditions in which the variables in the system ultimately bring the transition probabilities in stable or unchanged conditions. Data from this research is divided into two categories namely data about brand switching of GSM cards and data about the transfer of GSM cards brand usage. Data brand switching of GSM cards obtained from users who use one GSM cards, while the data transfer use of GSM cards obtained from user more than one GSM cards. The results of this research indicate that GSM card displacement equilibrium conditions was achieved in the 9th period, whereas the results of switching the use of GSM card shows that equilibrium conditions for phone and SMS users is in the 15th period, and equilibrium conditions for internet user is reached in 5th period.

GSM-Railways (GSM-R), which is evolutionary railway mobile communication technology, are gradually replacing analogue radio systems. Although GSM-R is an impossible achievement in terms of European railway interoperability, from a telecommunication point of view, it is successive technology. This study present the transfer of a telecommunication standard to another railways and it studies whether the adoption of an upgraded version of the GSM standard (GSM‐R) turned out to be an efficient choice. The transfer and deployment of GSM‐R is technically importance to the success of another European railway project. The introduction of the new signaling system rests on achieving interoperability in radio‐communication.The study will focus on the GSM-R part of the ERTMS system and its interworking with ETCS.

Abstract This study investigated the effects of dietary inclusion of grape seed meal (GSM) on antioxidant markers in kidney of aflatoxin B1 fed pigs. Twenty-four cross-bred pigs (TOPIG-40) were randomly assigned to one of the four experimental diets: control (Control), aflatoxin B1 (diet contaminated with 320 μg AFB1/kg feed), grape seed meal (diet with 8% GSM) and AFB1+GSM (320 μg AFB1/kg feed + 8% GSM) for 30 days. Aflatoxin B1 induced oxidative damage and showed lower antioxidant status in kidney after 30 days. CAT and SOD activity measured in kidneys revealed significant differences when comparing the GSM+AFB1 group with the AFB1 group. Additionally, GSM diet alone did not affect CAT and SOD levels in kidneys of piglets compared with the control group, suggesting that they are maintained at physiological levels. We did not detect any effects of GSM on GPx and TAS. Including GSM into piglets’ diet significantly lowered lipid peroxidation induced by AFB1, while it did not affect it compared with the control group. The present study demonstrated the ability of GSM to alleviate the effects induced by the toxin evidenced by the improvement in the antioxidant status, and suggests the potential applicability of GSM as mycotoxin adsorbent in animal feed.

ABSTRACT: Generalized spatial modulation (GSM) maps its information to the index of the transmit antenna combination, making simultaneous transmission of multiple symbol possible. However, SM outperform GSM scheme in terms of error performance of the same data rate, due to average power effect. Transmit and receive diversity or the combination of both allow huge improvement in mimo systems in terms of error performance. In this paper, we investigate a near optimal low-complexity Euclidean distance antenna selection (LC-EDAS) technique in GSM system, to further improve the performance of the conventional GSM system. The LC-EDAS technique independently search across signal and spatial dimension to eliminate the worse channel prior to transmission. Secondly, we investigate a sub-optimal low-complexity transmit antenna selection (LCTAS) in the GSM system to further reduce the computational complexity (CC) imposed by LC-EDAS. The Monte Carlo simulation results obtained reveals a trade-off between the GSM scheme with LC-EDAS and GSM scheme with sub-optimal transmit antenna selection in terms of error performance and CC. ABSTRAK: Modulasi Spatial Keseluruhan (GSM) menghubung informasi kepada indeks kombinasi antena yang dipancarkan, membuatkan pemancaran keseluruhan simbol dapat dilakukan. Walau bagaimanapun, SM lebih bagus daripada skim GSM pada prestasi kesilapan pada kadar data yang sama, kerana kesan purata kuasa. Kepelbagaian penghantaran dan penerimaan ataupun kombinasi keduanya memberi pembaharuan yang lebih besar dalam sistem mimo pada prestasi kesalahan. Penyelidikan ini akan mengkaji optima terdekat Euclidean kurang rumit, melalui teknik (LC-EDAS) pilihan jarak antenna dalam sistem GSM, bagi menambah prestasi sistem GSM sedia ada. Teknik LC-EDAS secara sendiri mencari signal dan dimensi separa bagi mengurangkan saluran lebih teruk semasa penghantaran. Kedua, kami mengkaji sub-optima proses pemilihan kurang rumit penyebaran antena (LCTAS) dalam sistem GSM bagi mengurangkan kerumitan pengiraan (CC) yang dikenakan oleh LC-EDAS. Keputusan simulasi Monte Carlo yang diperoleh menunjukkan timbangan antara skim GSM dan LC-EDAS dan skim GSM bersama sub-optima proses pemilihan penyebaran antena berdasarkan kesilapan prestasi dan CC.

Greenshell™ mussel (GSM, Perna canaliculus) is New Zealand’s most important aquaculture species. They are a good source of long chain-polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 LC PUFA). Beyond a traditional food product, GSMs are also sold as mussel powders and oil extract formats in the nutraceutical markets. In this study, a four-sequence, single dose, randomized crossover human trial with eight evaluable healthy male participants was undertaken to determine the bioavailability of the n-3 LC PUFA in four different GSM formats (oil, powder, food ingredient and half-shell unprocessed whole mussel) by measuring area under the curve (AUC) and maximal concentration (CMax). Blood samples were collected at baseline and up to 48 h after initiation of product consumption in each administration period. There were minor differences between the bioavailability of FA (fatty acid) between the different GSM formats. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) peak concentrations and plasma exposures were significantly lower with GSM oil compared to GSM half-shell and GSM powder formats, which resulted in AUC0–48 for the intake of GSM half-shell mussel and GSM powder being significantly higher than that for GSM oil (p = 0.013, f= 4.84). This equated to a 20.6% and 24.3% increase in the amount of EPA present in the plasma after consumption of half-shell mussels and mussel powder respectively compared to GSM oil. GSM oil produced the shortest median time to maximal plasma n-3 LC PUFA concentration of all evaluated products demonstrated by a shorter maximum measured plasma concentration (TMax = 5 h). Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and n-3 LC PUFA plasma exposure parameters were statistically comparable across the four GSM products evaluated.

Gliosarcoma (GSM) is a rare central nervous system malignancy; it represents less than 0.5% of all intracranial tumors. GSM usually affects often male in their fifth to sixth decade of life with supratentorial location especially in temporal lobes. The management of GS is extrapolated from glioblastoma with maximal gross total resection, and adjuvant radiotherapy with/without temozolomide. The prognosis is poor with median survival ranged from 06 to 14.8 months. The optimal treatment of GSM is unclear because of the lack of prospective studies. We report 04 cases (three cases of primary GSM and one case of secondary GSM) treated in our department of radiotherapy. Unfortunately, this publication confirmed the poor prognosis and the aggressive behavior of GSM tumors.

The High-Speed Train of Indonesian will be implemented in 2022. The communication system used on the fast train is planned to use GSM-R in the future. GSM-R technology is expected to be applied to railways in Indonesia as well as in Europe. The railway system in Germany has applied GSM-R on the Berlin to Halle / Leipzig line using the first European Train Control System (ETCS) in Europe [2]. Radio waves used by GSM-R are at a frequency of 876 to 880 MHz for the uplink side and 921 to 925 MHz on the downlink side. This journal analyzes the GSM-R design that will be applied to Indonesian fast trains using the New York University Simulation (NYUSIM) method. This study evaluates the performance of GSM-R with intervention with natural conditions, such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, power and so on, resulting in a better GSM-R performance in terms of resistance to interference tested.

Alat ini dilengkapi dengan fitur GSM gateway yaitu fitur yang dapat menghubungkan jaringan VoIP ke jaringan GSM. Fitur GSM gateway ini menggunakan modem GSM sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan jaringan VoIP dengan jaringan GSM. Persentase keberhasilan panggilan VoIP ke VoIP, VoIP ke GSM, dan GSM ke VoIP mencapai 100%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian Quality of services (QoS) pada panggilan VoIP ke GSM, dihasilkan rata-rata delay sebesar 12,11 ms yang termasuk dalam kategori kualitas baik, Troughput sebesar 0,151, jitter sebesar 0,052 ms yang termasuk dalam kategori kualitas baik, dan packet loss sebesar 0% yang termasuk dalam kategori kualitas sangat baik. Jangkauan maksimal antara client VoIP ke server agar komunikasi berjalan dengan baik adalah 100 meter dalam kondisi Line Of Sight (LOS). Pengujian dengan jarak 25 m dalam kondisi Non Line Of Sight (NLOS), masih menghasilkan komunikasi yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kuisioner dari 30 pengguna, dihasilkan nilai MOS 3,88 yang termasuk dalam kategori kualitas cukup baik.

This paper focuses on the changes in the fabric’s physical properties like GSM, bursting strength, pilling, extension, and residual extension in both grey and dyed stage. Moreover, this investigation also shows the relationship between bursting strength, pilling, extension, and residual extension with GSM. Furthermore, from grey to dyed stage, a visible change in GSM occurred and the influence of GSM in different physical properties also appeared significantly. A strong relationship of bursting strength, extension, and residual extension with GSM change of 100% cotton single jersey fabric was found, but pilling shows very negligible change in relation to GSM. Physically, after dyeing, changes were visible in case of GSM and pilling. With the change of fabric condition, i.e., grey and dyed stage fabric, the physical properties shows significant changes in terms of characteristics. In comparison to different physical properties of fabric in grey and dyed stage, the analysis has shown that the value of GSM was increased gradually after dyeing. Bursting strength, extension, and residual extension was decreased from grey to dyed stage. Overall pilling rate was observed and it was found to improve after dyeing.

The study examined the influence of service quality on preference for mobile telecommunication (GSM) service providers among students of tertiary institutions in Lagos State. Specifically, the study determined the influence of service assurance on preference for GSM service provider and assessed the influence of service empathy on preference for GSM service providers among students of tertiary institutions in Lagos State. Findings from the study revealed that service assurance positively and significantly influenced preference for mobile telecommunication (GSM) service providers among students of tertiary institutions (Adj. R2 = .008, F (8,1051) = 2.110, p <.05). Also, findings from the study indicated that empathy positively and significantly influenced preference for mobile telecommunication (GSM) service providers among students of tertiary institutions (Adj. R2 = .008, F (8, 1051) = 2.110, p <.05). The study concluded that increased service quality led to increased preference for GSM service providers among students of tertiary institutions in Lagos State. Thus, an increase in service quality led to an increase in preference for GSM service providers among students of tertiary institutions in Lagos State. Therefore GSM service providers should improve on service assurance and service empathy to enhance consumers’ preference. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling, guru tim GSM dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data , reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi tersebut sesuai dengan teori van metter dan van horn yang terdiri dari standar dan sasaran, sumber daya, karakteristik organisasi, disposisi, hubungan antar organisasi dan kondisi lingkungan berjalan dengan baik dan semestinya. Kegiatan program GSM dalam mengatasi bullying adalah kegiatan sosialisasi, circle time, pagi berbagi, hearing, dan beberapa penerapan zona kelas. Faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan GSM di SMP N 2 Sleman adalah dukungan dari semua elemen sekolah dan faktor penghambat program GSM adalah masih ada beberapa guru dan siswa yang belum beradaptasi dengan adanya program tersebut. GSM program activities in dealing with bullying are socialization activities, circle time, morning sharing, hearing, and some class zone applications. The factors that support the success of GSM in SMP N 2 Sleman are the support of all elements of the school and the inhibiting factors of the GSM program are there are still some teachers and students who have not adapted to the existence of the program. Abstract:
This study aimed to examine the changes in lipid and metabolite profiles of ovariectomized (OVX) rats with diet-induced metabolic syndrome-associated osteoarthritis (MetOA) after supplementation with greenshell mussel (GSM) using an untargeted liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) metabolomics approach. Ninety-six rats were fed with one of four diets: control, control supplemented with GSM + GSM, high fat/high sugar (HFHS), or high fat/high sugar enriched with GSM (HFHS + GSM). After 8 weeks on experimental diets, half of the rats in each group underwent OVX and the other half were sham operated. After being fed for an additional 28 weeks, blood samples were collected for the metabolomics analysis. Lipid and polar metabolites were extracted from plasma and analysed by LC-MS. We identified 29 lipid species from four lipid subclasses (phosphatidylcholine, lysophosphatidylcholine, diacylglycerol, and triacylglycerol) and a set of eight metabolites involved in amino acid metabolism (serine, threonine, lysine, valine, histidine, pipecolic acid, 3-methylcytidine, and cholic acid) as potential biomarkers for the effect of HFHS diet and GSM supplementation. GSM incorporation more specifically in the control diet generated significant alterations in the levels of several lipids and metabolites. Further studies are required to validate these findings that identify potential biomarkers to follow OA progression and to monitor the impact of GSM supplementation.

Ultrasound examination is advised for early post-kidney transplant assessment. Grayscale median (GSM) quantification is novel in the kidney transplant field, with no systematic assessment previously reported. In this prospective cohort study, we measured the post-operative GSM in a large cohort of adult kidney transplant recipients (KTR) who consecutively underwent Doppler ultrasound directly after transplantation (within 24 h), compared it with GSM in nontransplanted patients, and investigated its association with baseline and follow-up characteristics. B-mode images were used to calculate the GSM in KTR and compared with GSM data in nontransplanted patients, as simulated from summary statistics of the literature using a Mersenne twister algorithm. The association of GSM with baseline and 1-year follow-up characteristics were studied by means of linear regression analyses. In 282 KTR (54 ± 15 years old, 60% male), the median (IQR) GSM was 55 (45–69), ranging from 22 to 124 (coefficient of variation = 7.4%), without differences by type of donation (p = 0.28). GSM in KTR was significantly higher than in nontransplanted patients (p < 0.001), and associated with systolic blood pressure, history of cardiovascular disease, and donor age (std. β = 0.12, −0.20, and 0.13, respectively; p < 0.05 for all). Higher early post-kidney transplant GSM was not associated with 1-year post-kidney transplant function parameters (e.g., measured and estimated glomerular filtration rate). The data provided in this study could be used as first step for further research on the application of early postoperative ultrasound in KTR.

AbstractSatellite measurements over the last three decades show a gradual decrease in solar output, which can be indicative as a precursor to a modern grand solar minimum (GSM). Using a chemistry–climate model, this study investigates the potential of two GSM scenarios with different magnitude to counteract the climate change by projected anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the twenty-first century. To identify regions showing enhanced vulnerability to climate change (hot spots) and to estimate their response to a possible modern GSM, a multidimensional metric is applied that accounts for—in addition to changes in mean quantities—seasonal changes in the variability and occurrence of extreme events. We find that a future GSM in the middle of the twenty-first century would temporarily mitigate the global mean impact of anthropogenic climate change by 10%–23% depending on the GSM scenario. A future GSM would, however, not be able to stop anthropogenic global warming. For the GHG-only scenario, our hot-spot analysis suggests that the midlatitudes show a response to rising GHGs below global average, while in the tropics, climate change hot spots with more frequent extreme hot seasons will develop during the twenty-first century. A GSM would reduce the climate change warming in all regions. The GHG-induced warming in Arctic winter would be dampened in a GSM due to the impact of reduced solar irradiance on Arctic sea ice. However, even an extreme GSM could only mitigate a fraction of the tropical hot-spot pattern (up to 24%) in the long term.

Abstract:
Lately, many people tend to use GSM cards to meet their needs. Good for sending short messages, calling, using social media, and so on. According to research, the latest research notes that internet use in Indonesia from students is predicted to reach 30 million. This study traces the online activity of a sample of students involving 400 respondents aged 10-19 years in Bogor district and representing urban and rural areas. As many as 98% claimed to be internet users. Source: kompas.com. The number of GSM card makers, such as Indosat, XL-Axiata, Telkomsel, and others, creates a lot of confusion among students in using the GSM starter pack because it doesn't suit their needs, so they often change the GSM starter card. Therefore, the purpose of the research is so that students can choose the GSM card wisely according to their needs in the form of analysis data and so that the analysis data can be used by GSM companies in marketing the starterpack. This study uses the game theory method with data sources from direct sources who interviewed 100 students in the Bogor district asrespondents. Based on the analysis carried out, it is concluded that the signal strength that gets the greatest results is 8.193. This proves that people, especially students, use GSM cards, judging from the strong signal of a GSM card.
