Abstract:
Environment and its conservation is one of the key issues across the globe these days. It is even more important in the Scandinavian region.Swedenis one of the leading pro-environment nations in the world when it comes to environment-friendly or green automobiles. Introducing emissions tax, green car rebate, and congestion tax exemption for green cars on large cities have resulted in a surge of green car sales inSwedenover the past few years. The preferences of the Swedish green car consumers are examined in this study.   Consumer decision process and preferences related theories have been used for the theoretical understanding of this study and based on these understandings, the Adaptive Choice Based Conjoint Analysis has been selected to measure and understand the consumer preferences towards green cars. The Swedish green car market has been explained and understood as a prerequisite to conduct this study. Examinations of previous related studies, a small scale pre-screening survey, and expert interviews were carried out prior to formulating the conjoint experiment to ensure the inclusion of significant components into the study. The collected data were analyzed using advanced analysis software such as, SSI Web, SMRT, and SPSS, to understand and measure consumer preferences. The findings provide answers to the importance of different attributes in the purchase decision-making for green cars, the effect of each attribute to the decision-making process, the effect of prior purchase experience on the formation of preference, and the relationship between consumer’s green consciousness level and green decision-making process.   This study contributes to the theoretical field of green consumer behavior and to the practical field of marketing of green cars. Abstract:
This study aims to understand the extent to which Prius owners are susceptible to single action bias, a phenomenon that occurs when one executes an initial, single action to solve a particular problem and then ceases to take further action. Here, participants were of two groups – Prius owners and non-Prius owners. It was hypothesized that Prius owners would, in fact, be less likely to perform smaller, easier green tasks (such as recycling) than those who did not own the hybrid – simply because they believed they have already done their part for the environment. Results failed to allow a rejection of null hypothesis. Further explored in the non-Prius group was recycling as the initial, single action, and a significant positive spillover effect was seen. Concern for the environment, regardless of car ownership, was a significant factor in green behavior. The Prius as a public statement of one‟s attitude is discussed.

In July of 2002, the California State Legislature passed the "California Clean Cars Bill," the first law in the United States to regulate carbon dioxide as a vehicular pollutant. California's vehicular standards have implications across the country; at least eight other states have committed to adopt them. The passage of the legislation was as controversial as it was groundbreaking. Over the course of the year and a half that the bill was in the state legislature, environmentalists and the auto industry fought for the public's support of their positions. Although the auto industry had the benefit of a multi-million dollar advertising budget, environmentalists adopted tactics that proved more effective in the battle for Californians' support. This thesis describes the environmentalists' coalition-building and problem-definition tactics and how they enabled the environmentalists to gain public support.

Abstract:
The aim of this dissertation is the creation of a terminology project of 50 entries in Slovak language. The domain of the project is green cars. The terminology resource was created as part of a project with the Terminology Coordination unit of the European Parliament (TermCoord), which is responsible for the managing of the IATE (InterActive Terminology for Europe) terminology database. The final result of the terminology project was presented to the TermCoord to be implemented into IATE. Apart from creating the resource, the results of the work conducted for this dissertation has lead to a deep analysis of the IATE database, putting the focus on the managing strategy of the resource and highlighting strong points and criticisms for the users of the database. The dissertation is composed of four chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to a theoretical overview of special languages and terminology, with a brief section dedicated to the building of corpora for terminology purposes. The second chapter presents the translation and terminology services at the EU institutions, which it was possible to analyse during the internship at the DGTranslation of the European Commission in Brussels. In the third chapter, the process for the extraction of the Slovak terms to input into the termbase is described, starting from the retrievement of terms in English and then analysisng the process to extract the Slovak equivalent to build the termbase. The fourth chapter analyses the results of the terminology research and illustrates the structure of the final monolingual termbase.

Julien Green aime à la fois la peinture, la sculpture. Il s'en inspire pour dessiner certains de ses personnages et même pour inventer la totalité de certains de ses livres. Il accorde de l'importance aux illustrations qui ornent ses textes ou leurs couvertures. Et il compare mentalement l'univers à un livre-artistique et divin. Conformément à cette logique esthétique, l'écrivain utilise un vocabulaire sculptural et des métaphores matérielles afin de décrire le corps humain (et désirable). Et il se sert d'un lexique chromatique et pictural et de l'opposition primordiale du noir et du blanc pour faire des portraits et pour restituer la beauté (spirituelle) des visages. Il invente finalement un modèle, au sens platonique du terme et il pense une peinture plastique qui donne la merveilleuse illusion du relief. On constate également que Julien Green cite les œuvres d'art de manière originale, mais parfois répétitive, ce qui lui permet de structurer certains de ses récits et d'inventer certains de ses personnages. En somme, il se fie à ses convictions esthétiques pour imaginer une topographie originale et pour nous décrire les maisons ou les musées où déambulent souvent ses personnages. On a même l'impression qu'il définit les individus qu'il imagine en fonction de leurs convictions artistiques, en fonction de la manière dont ils s'approprient où dont ils inventent l'œuvre d'art. Il se comporte finalement en héritier de Baudelaire. Il trouve des correspondances entre les arts et entre les genres littéraires. Et, comme Marcel Proust, il se montre capable de concevoir la beauté matérielle, platonicienne et abstraite des œuvres d'art. Il définit à sa manière la splendeur des signes artistiques, amoureux et religieux.

Air pollution from the point of view of chemical hazards to human takes the first place. According to scientific research, the contribution of air pollution is from 80 to 90% of the total carcinogenic and non- carcinogenic risk which is associated with the influence of the pollution of other contaminants in the environment. Transport consumes a huge amount of energetic natural resources. A third of all oil produced in the world is spent to ensure the work of transport and automobile transport is the most energy intensive if compared with all other kinds of transport.

A questão que motivou esta tese talvez seja o desafio maior de compreender a complexidade das relações entre seres humanos e o meio físico aproximando diferentes processos envolvidos nessas interações e as ações de projetos na cidade, principalmente nas regiões que sofreram o impacto da efervescência da urbanização nas décadas de 1970/1980, sendo o Bairro dos Alvarenga um exemplo marcante deste momento. A conjuntura dos diferentes processos leva a implicações significativas na concepção das paisagens e ao longo do tempo a adaptação do homem à paisagem e da paisagem às necessidades do homem. O objetivo da Tese nasce da intenção de subsidiar diretrizes para intervenções no território com a responsabilidade do complexo diagnóstico necessário ao desenvolvimento ambiental urbano social econômico numa abordagem sistêmica que possa representar o conjunto de todas as ações propostas e mais ainda, para a emergência capaz de relacionar múltiplos aspectos, entendendo ser preciso um elemento ordenador das diversas intervenções. Dentro deste contexto, numa perspectiva integradora de ocupação, ações de projetos, infraestruturas urbanas e organização do espaço, priorizando a qualidade ambiental, adotou-se como hipótese a rede de infraestrutura verde como elemento estruturador, e nesse sentido, respondendo através de seus instrumentos e diretrizes, o novo paradigma da cidade sustentável.
The question that motivated this thesis may be the challenge to understand the complexity of the relations between human beings and the physical environment, approaching different processes involved in these interactions and actions of projects in the city, especially in regions that have suffered the impact of the urbanization boom during the 1970/1980 decades, being the neighborhood Bairro Dos Alvarenga a striking example of this moment. The conjuncture of the different processes lead to significant implications in the design of landscapes and over time the adaptation of man to the landscape and the landscape to human needs. The objective of the thesis is born of the intention to provide guidelines for interventions in the territory with a complex diagnostic responsibility required for the environmental, urban, social and economic development, in a systemic approach that can represent the set of all proposed actions and even more for emergency be able to relate multiple aspects, understanding the need of an ordering element of the various interventions. Within this context, in an integrative perspective of occupation, project actions, urban infrastructure and spatial organization, prioritizing environmental quality, it was adopted as an hypothesis the green infrastructure network as the organizer, and in that sense, responding through its instruments and guidelines, to the new paradigm of the sustainable city.

This diploma thesis deals with design and elaboration of project documentation of library. The building is located on plot No. 6167/2 in Žďár nad Sázavou, number of cadastre unit 795232. The library have three above-ground floor and basement. Irregularly-shaped floor plan of the library is in the shape of the letter "K". In addition to the individual departments of the library, there are study rooms, a multifunctional hall, an information center and a café. Structural system is designed as a cast-in-place concrete frame with a ceramic blocks infill. Horizontal structures are made of cast-in-place reinforced slab. Building has ventilated facade with mineral wool insulation. Roofs constructions are designed as flat green roofs.

Abstract:

The automotive industry is today in a world of globalisation and external factors can influence the car companies and it is important that they progress with the people. When an external factor, as the oil price, increases dramatically, it will affect the economies in different matters. Other external factors are impacted by the oil price, for example inflation, unemployment and target rates. In addition, people are changing their preferences due to the attention of the environment. With this as the foundation the problem of the essay were divided into three aspects. First, are the automotive companies affected by an increasing oil price? Second, is a different green thinking in the markets of the companies affecting them? Third, do economic trends making an impact on the auto companies? The purpose of this essay is to investigate if the oil price, a new green way of thinking and if different economical factors have affected the car companies. To be able to accomplish the purpose, the ten largest automotive companies’ annual reports and Internet sites were used to gather information about monthly and annual sales numbers. Along with that, other necessary sources as pollution rates for different areas; inflation rates, unemployment rates and target rates were collected. Theories that were necessary for analyzing the empiric work were used. The analysis part of the essay consists mostly of correlation- and regression analysis, because they are the most appropriate tools in this context. Furthermore, the study is stating that the car companies are demonstrating tendencies to being negatively affected by an increasing in the oil price. Moreover, auto companies with more green cars have more sales on markets that have additional green thinking. Lastly, the study is also concluding that economical trends do not affect the companies in any special circumstances.

This diploma thesis is processed in the form of design documentation for implementation of building. Solved building is a library in Veselí nad Moravou, cadastre unit Veselí-Předměstí. Building includes three above-ground floors and one underground floor. Floor plan is in shape of rectangular. Beside regular departments of library, study rooms, conference room and office parts, there is also a cafe and a bookstore. The structural system of a building is designed from cast-in-place concrete frame with filling from ceramic blocks Porotherm 30 Profi. Horizontal structural system is from cast-in-place reinforced concrete point-supported slabs. Part of facade is from glass and part is with contact thermal insulation system with mineral wool insulation. Roof construction is designed as flat green roof.

This diploma thesis deals with the creation of penetration of cast iron with graphite casting cast into bentonite molds. In the first part of the thesis is theoretically described the formation of penetration, its main causes, consequences and the elimination of this defect. The second part analyzes the causes of the defect with the Minitab statistical software and shows the possible connections of the input materials to the occurrence of the defect. Next, the experimental finding of the cause of the defect, which is focused on the measurement of the pressures in the form of the casting, is devoted to it.

This thesis describes a design of a travel agency headquarters building. It is a four storey building without a basement made of longitudinal cast-in-place concrete frame system. The building is roofed with non-walkable flat roof and two terraces. Two flats are located in the facility in addition to offices, a café, a shop, a tour saleroom, a small storage, a departure waiting room and other facilities providing quality operation of a travel agency. The land on which the building is located is designed as a car park and parking areas for smooth departure of the travel agency clients.

Diploma thesis deals with the design of the multifunctional building located between Havlickova and F. Vogner streets in relation to the existing building in Litomyšl. Building plot is slightly sloping, at the rear goes into greater inclination. The building has four aboveground floors and one underground floor. The building includes services, located in ground floor, administrative premises decomposing in the second and third floor and apartments on the top floor. In the basement are located parking spaces. Supporting skeleton of the building is a cast-in-place concrete frame. Roofs are designed as a flat single shell. In part of roof over third floor is a green roof. The building is founded on piles. Due to the occurrence of water pressure is building an extra solved waterproofing system with checks and activation. The work includes text messages, drawings for building construction, fire safety design, construction and physical assessment of building structures and specialization from concrete structures.

The final thesis is focused on a newly-built hotel with wellness in Luhačovice. Luhačovice is a spa town in the region of Zlín. The plot is situated on the outskirts of the town in a mildly built-up area. The terrain is sloping with a view of the town. The building is divided into three operating parts – wellness, restaurant with café and premises for temporary accomodation.The structure is a four-story building with a cellar. The building foundations are based on the reinforced concrete foundation slab. The load-bearing structures of the basement and the ground floor are formed by reinforced concrete walls complemented by reinforced concrete columns. Upper storeys are designed in the system of Porotherm. The floor structure is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is roofed with green roof.

The subject of this thesis is to create a Project documentation of the design of the New development, a restaurant with a guesthouse, in the cadastral area Mařatice, city Uherské Hradiště. The object is designed as a standalone barrier-free 2 story building. The first floor above ground contains a restaurant, capacity 52 persons, to which a terrace with capacity of 28 persons is attached. Apart from the aforementioned there is also a support area for the restaurant, technical facilities and the owner's office. On the second floor there are 6 rooms for rent, incliding one barrier-free and a lounge for guests. The object foundation base are foundation pads and grade beams made of reinforced concrete. The load-bearing structure is a cast-in-place monolithic skelet made of reinforced concrete. The infill structures are designed as a light building envelope from the company Novatop. Part of the object has a flat green roof, the other part is a mono-pitched roof on which photovoltaic and photothermic panels are placed. The drawing is processed with help of AutoCAD software. The visuals in programs ArchiCAD and Artlantis.

This diploma thesis deals with a new built office building in Brno-Husovice. The building is situated in a gap site on the street Dukelská třída. The building has four aboveground floors and underground garages. The ground floor is divided into relaxation area and a commercial section with five shopping units. The second and the third floor are designed as a variable office space. The engine room for ventilation is situated on the fourth floor. Construction system is cast-in-place concrete frame. The building is roofed with the green roofs. Foundations are made of large diameter drilled piles.

Abstract:
This paper examines how the eight parties in the Swedish parliament pit different social groups against each other, in the 2015 Almedalstal compared to the 2016 Almedalstal, when using the Dutch political scientist Cas Mudde’s definition of populism. The speeches are analysed using a qualitative content analysis. The results show that several parties are more populist in the 2016 speech than the 2015 speech and that the parties have shifted focus from solutions to blaming as well as elevating their own core electorate and their primary areas of confidence with the electorate. The analysis shows that some parties have tendencies to use some populist discourse. The paper identifies that the Swedish Democrats continues to use a populist discourse while the Left party has become more populist in their discourse in the 2016 speech. The Christian Democrats and the two major political parties, the Moderate party and the Social Democrats, tend to accentuate more of a populist discourse in the 2016 speeches but not to the extent to say that they use a populist discourse as defined by Mudde.

Abstract:
The aim of this research is the analysis of socio-economic factors that wouldinfluence consumer buying process of electric vehicles in Iceland. The purpose of the researchis to detect the most crucial factors influencing Icelanders decisions for and againstpurchasing an electric vehicle, instead of car with internal combustion engine. This researchverified people‟s opinions and can bring companies closer to real mindsets of Icelandicpotential buyers. Moreover, this paper might give a possibility to eliminate wrong thinkingand barriers by better adjusted marketing. Additionally, analyzed advantages might showwhat the main reason of shifting to this alternative technology is. Moreover, it shows whatmight be the customer acceptance price range.

Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is a project of a new building of a penzion with four floors. Penzion is situated in cadastral area Domažlice, in the centre of the town Domažlice. The building of penzion is free standing and it´s partially with a basement. There is one basement floor and three floors in this building. There is a facilities for restaurant, 2 conference halls and facillities for penzion on the first floor of building. The second and third floor are used for the accommodation of guests. There are 14 double rooms and one room for two immobile persons on the second floor. On the third floor, there are 12 double rooms and two double apartment. The basement of the building is used for parking and technical facilities of penzion. Roof of the building is designed two types of roofs. Three floors part of the building is covered by warm flat roof and the one floor part of the building is covered by green roof. Structural system consists of the cast – in – place concrete frame which is reinforced by masonry walls. Building envelope is insulated with contact thermal insulation. Facade of the one – floor part of the building and the back part of the building is designed from facade panels. Documentation of the diploma thesis is prepared for the building contruction. The graphical part of documentation has been processed in the Autodesk Autocad software. Thermal assesment has been processed in Svoboda software.

Moreover, a set of machines, usage options of a tower crane or a mobile crane and usage options of a mobile pump or a concrete container have been processed for this building. Abstract:
Despite a few decades of discussion and the existence of all the studies on the transfer of the Brno Main Station to the river and the subsequent construction of the new Trnitá district, it has not been decided on the exact architectural form of these major urban interventions. In my pre-diploma thesis, I worked out an urban study of a new southern district - Trnitá, which gave above all a functional and mass form of the territory. This location will be extremely interesting for both the city's visitors, who will be moving from the station to the center, and of course for the potential new residents of the district. The district offers a unique combination of city life and recreation in the immediate vicinity of the natural river and park features. For a more detailed elaboration, I chose a building within a walk-through block by a river consisting of two buildings. My goal was to create a new scenery for what's happening in the neighborhood, to design new scenarios for how we can look at blocks. Given the contact with the waterfront and the river, I decided to propose both private and public functions. An important role is played by the courtyard, which defines a private space (a raised platform intended only for the residents of the house) and a public space - a creative center courtyard using a raised part as a residence bench. The mass of the house is horizontally divided into two parts. The first and second floors belong to the creative center, which is transparent with distinctive stone columns. An important goal was to show the life and movement of the center and its openness to new people and ideas - access from the yard. From the third floor there are apartments that are terraced and offer views of the river and roof terraces of deluxe apartments.

The final thesis is focused on the annex of complex of mixed-use buildings toward the church in Brno-Lisen. A pair of buildings consists of a one-storey Building a community of Salesians and two-storey building with parish office. The group of buildings is located on the southern slope in the housing estate of a block of flats from the 80s. Objects vertically copy a curve of the slope and is increasing to the dominant church building. Block of buildings are adjacent by shorter side to the church building and form a small enclosed courtyard inside. The buildings are designed at brick ceramic blocks, buildings are withnout cellar, with flat green roof. Living rooms are located on the southern facade, the north is reserved for corridors. The entrance to the courtyard is connected to the existing service road. Pedestrian approach builds on the existing surrounding landscaping.

The subject of this diploma thesis was to process the study and the design documentation for a newly built hotel in Brno, in city district “Kníničky” near the artificial dam “Přehrada” in a rest area. The hotel will serve as temporary accommodation for up to 64 hotel guests in single, double and four bed rooms. The object also contains training rooms, offices, a meeting room, a café, a small grocery store and a restaurant with kitchen. Parking is possible in one of the two mass garages and there is an outdoor parking possibility in front of the hotel too. The building has a cast-in-place concrete frame with longitudinal beams and sway bracings. The external wall consists of aerated concrete bricks with contact thermal insulation system ETICS (insulation material mineral wool), the ceilings will be cast-in-place reinforced concrete ceilings and the roof flat green roof or flat roof with gravel on it above the 5th floor. The foundation construction consists of reinforced concrete foundation strips, which expand to foundation pads under the load-bearing columns and will be supported by piled foundations under the most exposed elements. As long as the hotel is situated into a fairly steep slope, the vertical alignment of some building parts is various so part of the project is the design of landscaping works. Design documentation was processed using the program AutoCAD 2017, the study and the visualization using both SketchUp 2015, LayOut 2015 and Lumion 5.

With the development of science and technology, the establishment of factories and the improvement of transportation equipment, etc., it increases the convenience of people’s lives. The development brings many hazards for the earth and causes many pollution, including waste pollution, water pollution and air pollution. Transport with the development of science and technology are gradually important. At present each household at least one car, if it can reduce the use of traditional fuel vehicles and increase the use of green vehicles, it will be able to bring contribution to the earth. This study focuses on the air pollution caused by transport equipment and use the cars as an example. If it combined with government policies to reduce air pollution, consumers whether increase the willingness to buy green car or not. At present, only few people use low-pollution green car, how to increase the use of environmentally friendly vehicles is an important issue. In this study, we set up the hypothesis of environmental protection consciousness, cost structure and convenience as the influencing factors, and discuss the relationship between consumers' intention to depend on the causal relationship model. In this study, it use the regression analysis method to establish the hypothesis. According to the results, the environmental protection consciousness, the cost structure and the convenience factor had significant positive influence on the purchasing intention of the consumers. It suggests that the government can offer the policies to different consumers and combine the implementation of policies in response to consumer demand. This study also analyzes the different views of consumers, and the consumers who have different ideas can formulate policies in different directions to meet the needs of consumers.

The extreme weather caused by greenhouse effect impacts the whole world. Greenhouse gas emission reduction becomes one of the important issues. Compared to the conventional cars on fossil fuel, the green cars on hybrid system, electricity, or fuel cell system has less greenhouse gas emission and impacts on the environment. Therefore, the sales of the green cars are promoted in many countries. In addition to the rebates of green car purchases, the rebates of the construction of charging stations and hydrogen refueling stations are provided. In contrast, the rebates of green car purchases and construction of infrastructure are significantly less than Japan and China. The sales of green cars in Taiwan encounter many difficulties. By comparing the willingness to pay (WTP) to use recycled energy in Japan and Taiwan, the awareness of environmental protection is lower in Taiwan, which may effectively reduce the sales of green cars in Taiwan. The rebates of green car purchases and construction of infrastructure should be raised, and the benefits of environmental protection should be well promoted to increase the awareness of environmental protection, reduce energy consumption.

In the past 10 years, emission of carbon dioxide, or CO2, has increase by an average of 5.6% every year. In response to the ever degenerating environment, developing high-efficiency and low-emission environmental transportation methods, and promoting them with policy incentives, has been the primary task of the governments around the world. Currently available options include natural gas vehicle, electrical motor vehicle, fuel cell vehicle, flexible-fuel vehicle, solar vehicle, and HEV. Due to its matured technology, price advantage, and convenience of not requiring constant recharging, HEV has become the mainstream choice among the alternative-fuel vehicles. On the premise of CSR, this study aims to explore the factors influencing consumers’ choice of HEV, that in addition to corporate social responsibility, the consumers needs both internal motives and external motives to entice them to choose HEV over conventional gasoline vehicle. Studies in the past focus on why consumers do not factor corporate social responsibility in their purchase decisions by listing the negative reasons. This study, however, aims to combine the internal and external factors, and to consider from both microeconomic and macroeconomic perspectives, to product a positive list on reasons why the consumers should consider corporate social responsibility in their decision the purchase of HEV. On the policy front, unlike the governments of United States, Italy, or other developed countries that promote HEV with certain cultural context, the government of Taiwan has yet to act aggressively in providing incentives to HEV, largely due to the small size of the automobile market in Taiwan. This indirectly causes the consumers to base their choice of HEV on primitive factors, such as price and high energy efficiency.

In recent years, the advanced industrial countries are dealing actively with the problem of air pollution caused by fuel vehicles, and have therefore formulated a 5-10-year plan for the future development of the automobile industry. The purpose they expect to do so is to reduce or limit the production of fuel vehicles by replacing with the environmentally-friendly green energy vehicles (EFGEV) to decrease the influence of fuel autos on air pollution. However, the determinants associated with the acceptance of such kind of autos are the key success to the promotion strategy toward the plan. This study is motived to establish and test a causal model that describes the acceptance of EFGEV in Taiwan. Analysis results from 203 valid samples are obtained revealing that: (1) For the difference analysis of gender, future trend is the only determinant in which male perception is greater than female. Other determinants such as expenditure of vehicle use, acceptance, environmental awareness, quietness, driving habits, driving power, regulations and policies, price, and safety disclose no difference. (2) For the difference analysis of occupation, the perception difference between "regulations and policies" and "acceptance" are relatively low, in which the perception of "acceptance" is relatively low in both free industry and service industry while “regulations and policies” shows relatively low solely in the free industry. (3) For the causal effect examination, determinants that show a significant effect on acceptance are regulations and policies, price, safety, environmental awareness, quietness, driving habits, and driving power. Managerial implications and suggestions are also delineated.

Higgins proposed the Regulatory Focus theory, which distinguishes two ways of how people orient themselves to achieving a goal (i.e.: prevention focus and promotion focus). In green consumption, some moderating variables to message-framing of Regulatory Focus were examined. However, they were too individual specific and lack of efficacy of practical implementation. A new moderator, Brand Personality (sincerity and excitement), is therefore proposed. We think that the effectiveness of advertising message depends on its embedded Brand Personality. In this research, a total of 60 participants were asked to help us develop our research stimuli. Afterwards, 133 formal questionnaires were randomly distributed in downtown Hsin-Chu and at the commencement of National Chiao-Tung University. Results showed that all stimuli were fairly well manipulated, suggesting that they have good reliability and validity. Furthermore, an interaction effect of Brand Personality and Regulatory Focus is significant with respect to Willingness-to-Pay (WTP). However, the WTP is only significantly lower in the excitement × prevention-focused message condition than other conditions. In addition, promotion-focused message is more effective in terms of buying intention. This thesis provides some practical guidelines for marketers when trying to effectively promote a green car. Also, we enrich the literature of Regulatory Focus by taking Brand Personality into account, and extend the influence factors of Brand Personality to the dimension of persuasiveness. Limitation and future direction of research were also discussed at the end of this thesis.

Taiwan's new car market reduces with the decreasing rate of recession, coupled with the overall industrial output value of the recession, the increasingly homogeneous products under various manufacturers of the increasingly intense competition. The auto industry how to solve the present vehicle emissions pollution problems become important issue, and vehicle industry in this green wave driven, are committed to the development of new products to meet the requirements of economic development and environmental protection of green transport, In view of this, this study is to investigate the consumer behavior under the green environment - a case of eco-car. This study is under the green environment to use multi-dimensional scaling analysis to understand the consumer preference for fuels. In addition, It uses Canonical Correlation Analysis to analyze the relations between the environment 4R factors and the enterprise marketing strategies and them with the product features. Also, it uses the same method to analyze the relations between the enterprise marketing strategies and the consumer behavior and the product features with the consumer behavior. Finally, it uses t-test and ANOVA analysis to conduct on the demographic factors to the environment 4R factors and the consumer behavior to test if the difference is statistically significant. The choice of the sample consumers is from the northern region in Taiwan through convenience sampling. After the questionnaire data have been collection, it uses the above analytical methods to analyze. The results showed that: under the green environment, the preferred choice of consumers in the fuels showed a high degree of environmental protection. The environmental variables will affect the marketing strategies to implement. The environment 4R and the product features are highly related. The demographic variables have significant impacts on the environment variables. The marketing strategies, product features and demographic variables will have significant difference in consumer behavior. Finally, according to research findings, the study offers the government and enterprises related proposals.

Attributed to the global environmental pollution problem becoming more and more serious, the auto industry is actively developing new energy technologies and supporting the government's relevant beneficiary policies. The global environmentally-friendly cars market has grown rapidly but, according to the data, Taiwanese consumers face global environmentally-friendly cars the prevalence of the replacement rate has only slowly growning.Such that understanding the consumer value required by customers will become an important basis for the government's competent authorities and the hybrid vehicle management to make decisions. This study uses the online questionnaire survey method and uses the structural equation modeling to conduct an empirical research, with 218 valid questionnaires. The research results show that: (1) Functional value, emotional value and conditional value positively affect customer satisfaction. (2) Emotional value and cognitive value do not affect customer satisfaction. (3) Customer satisfaction has a positive impact on customer loyalty.

The problems of social inequality has plagued the Indian society since the history known. The caste system and its intersection with other religions have compounded the situations even further. This study focuses on the issue of marginalization between the three religious communities of India, namely Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. Furthermore this investigation try to propose a solution to this ensuing problem of marginalization by involving the case of green energy sector and its components. The potential that green energy entails for the economy will be studied at close quarters and evidences will be portrayed to see the positive effects. The creation and realization of the fertile grounds for the intersection or the juxtaposition of green energy over marginalization will be studied by combining the two philosophies of complex equality and equality of condition. The investigation reveals that marginalization can be solved by introducing Green energy on a large scale. The proposed model under the architectures of the conceptual frameworks of Spheres of Justice and Development as Freedom creates Green Energy as an independent sphere of influence that shows positive effect in reducing Inequality by interacting with other spheres of influence. The Japanese financial magazine "Trendy" predicts that green cars will be one of the coming year's top ten hot commodities, which implies that hybrid cars will become the automobile market mainstream. In Taiwan, more and more consumers have embraced the concept of green cars. To gain advantage over rival companies, it is crucial to understand what factors affect the consumers’ willingness to buy green cars. Based on the theory of planned behavior proposed by Ajzen (1985), this study explores the influence of consumers' attitudes, subjective norms and perceptual behavioral control on purchasing intentions of oil-electric hybrids, and explores whether the consumption behaviors related to oil-electric hybrid vehicles will be different by different locus of control. This study employed SPSS and SmartPLS statistical analysis software for data analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in behavioral and subjective norms between internal and external control personality. Behavioral attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral controls have a significant positive impact on green car purchase intentions. The new decade brings increasing concerns over climate change. Road transport is one of the largest contributors to emissions of greenhouse gases and apprehension is growing as to how the industry can reduces its carbon footprint. One solution is vehicles powered by electric motors. Electric cars, although becoming more popular are still regarded by many motorists as inadequate to meet their needs, while research has been conducted on the perceptions of electric cars there is less research on how they could be marketed to consumers. In the 2030 Ireland will ban new sales of petrol/diesel cars. This thesis aims to study an Irish online community of motorists to understand their views and motivations about electric cars and how these can help improve communication and facilitate adoption. Netnography was considered the most appropriate method of research. Results show that performance is the main consideration of the community, while four sub-themes linked to performance are also observed being sustainability, sentiment, price and self-image. Findings show that although sustainability is a concern for buyers performance attributes are more important in the buying consideration and that many consumers would not be willing to pay a premium for going green. Research suggests that the main focus should be on amplifying the performance qualities of the electric car rather than just emphasising the sustainable attributes. While a substantial section of consumers are unwilling to pay a premium for an electric car which is perceived as performing poorly.
A nova década traz preocupações crescentes com as alterações climáticas. O transporte rodoviário é um dos maiores contribuidores de emissões de gases de efeito estufa e a apreensão sobre como a indústria poderá reduzir a sua pegada de carbono cresceu. Uma solução são os veículos movidos por motores elétricos. Os carros elétricos, embora mais populares, ainda são considerados por muitos motoristas como inadequados às suas necessidades. A pesquisa que tem sido conduzida foca-se na perceção dos carros elétricos, e não em como comercializá-los aos consumidores. Em 2030, a Irlanda vai proibir novas vendas de carros a gasolina/diesel. Esta tese visa estudar uma comunidade irlandesa online de automobilistas para entender suas opiniões e motivações sobre carros elétricos e como estas podem ajudar a melhorar a comunicação e adoção. A netnografia foi considerada o método de pesquisa mais apropriado. Os resultados mostram que o desempenho é a principal consideração da comunidade, enquanto quatro subtemas ligados ao desempenho também são observados sendo sustentabilidade, emoções, preço e autoimagem. Os resultados mostram que, embora a sustentabilidade seja uma preocupação, o desempenho é mais importante no processo de compra e que muitos consumidores não estariam dispostos a pagar um prémio por se tornarem verdes. A pesquisa sugere que o foco deve estar na amplificação das qualidades de desempenho do carro elétrico, em vez de apenas destacar os atributos sustentáveis. Uma parte significativa dos consumidores não está disposta a pagar um prémio por um carro elétrico, uma vez que este é percebido como tendo um mau desempenho.
