Abstract:
Background: The freshwater ichthyofauna of Wallacea is diverse and understudied. A baseline survey of Bolano Sau Lake in Parigi Moutong District, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia in 2019 found an eleotrid goby (local name payangka) with characters conforming to the genus Giuris, long considered monophyletic as G. margaritacea/G. margaritaceus but recently found to comprise at least eight species. This study focused on the molecular (DNA barcoding) identification and phenotypic characters of the payangka. Methods: Payangka samples were collected from August to December 2019 in collaboration with local fishermen, weighed and measured, and preserved in 75% ethanol. Length, weight, sex (n=111) and seventeen morphometric characters/six meristic counts (n=42) were recorded. DNA barcoding was performed on a fin clipping preserved in 96% ethanol. Homologous nucleotide sequences were obtained from public (GenBank and BOLD) databases, analysis conducted in MEGA X, and phylogenetic trees edited in the Interactive Tree of Life (iToL). Results: Within the polyphyletic Giuris clade, the payangka sequence resolved into a sub-clade identified as Giuris laglaizei (Sauvage 1880), a recently resurrected taxon, based on a sequence provided by Philippe Keith. The length-weight relationship (L = 0.0087∙W3.162) indicated mildly allometric positive growth. Size distribution differed significantly between male and female fish with significantly larger mean size of males (13.56 cm) than females (11.62 cm). The meristic formula was: D VI-I,8 A I,8 P 13 V I,5 C15. Phylogenic analysis indicated four Giuris species in wetlands around Tomini Bay and five in Sulawesi. Conclusions: This first record of G. laglaizei in Indonesia advances knowledge of Wallacean and Indo-Pacific gobioid biogeography and highlights the need for a revision of the conservation status of the taxa currently grouped under Giuris margaritacea/G. margaritaceus in the IUCN Red List and FishBase databases. The data will inform biodiversity and fisheries management at local and regional levels.

Abstract:
L’articolo presenta due lettere di Melchiorre Cesarotti ritrovate dall’A. durante alcune ricerche condotte alla Bibliothèque Nationale de France su materiali manoscritti. La prima lettera è indirizzata a Voltaire, e riguarda la traduzione delle due tragedie Le Fanatisme, ou Mahomet e La Mort de César. Si tratta di una missiva già edita nel 1977 a opera di Theodore Besterman in Inghilterra nel quadro dell’edizione dei carteggi di Voltaire. Questo ritrovamento è passato però quasi inosservato nell’ambito degli studi di italianistica: l’articolo punta dunque a rilanciare l’interesse per questo fugace carteggio. La seconda missiva, che data al giugno 1803, è invece inedita e proviene dal fondo Custodi, inesauribile fonte di informazioni e curiosità. Il tema del secondo documento è molto diverso: Cesarotti comunica a Pietro Custodi di non poter prendere parte al suo progetto, la raccolta Scrittori classici italiani di economia politica, che iniziò a svilupparsi proprio nel 1803. Nonostante il rifiuto, il letterato padovano si ripromise di sollecitare qualche amico, esperto di economia, a fornire qualche contributo. Per meglio contestualizzare la seconda lettera, pertanto, l’A. si sofferma anche su un altro documento del fondo Custodi, vale a dire una missiva che l’economista veneziano Francesco Battaglia indirizzò proprio a Cesarotti, il quale l’aveva a sua volta incoraggiato a prendere parte al progetto di Custodi.

Este estudo teve como ponto de partida um conjunto de interrogações que foram contempladas na seguinte questão: Quais aspectos culturais e organizativos dos Serviços Psiquiátricos de Diagnóstico e Cura (SPDC) determinam a utilização da contenção mecânica? Ressalta-se a importância de se refletir sobre o processo histórico do entendimento de transtorno mental e crise, a forma de cuidado, as tradicionais práticas coercitivas, como a contenção mecânica nas regiões do Piemonte e Friuli Venezia Giulia, na Itália, que reforçam modelos similares de outros países, como no Brasil.

Abstract:
Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi keramahan alat tangkap jaring insang terhadap aktifitas penangkapan ikan payangka di Danau Bolano Sau melalui kajian sex ratio dan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad. Penelitian dilakukan di perairan Danau Bolano Sau pada bulan Agustus sampai Desember 2019. Sampel ikan payangka diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan nelayan yang menggunakan jaring insang dengan mesh size 3½ inchi. Analisis sampel dilakukan di Laboratorium Kualitas Air, Sekolah Tinggi Perikanan dan Kelautan, Palu. Perbedaan sex ratio ikan payangka menggunakan uji Chi-square sedangkan ukuran pertama kali matang gonad diduga berdasarkan metode Spearman–Karber. Ikan payangka yang tertangkap dengan jaring insang di Danau Bolano Sau berukuran 79-163 mm. Sex ratio antara jantan dan betina tidak seimbang dimana jantan lebih dominan daripada betina. Ukuran pertama kali matang gonad sebesar 119, 19 mm. Sehingga disarankan ukuran layak tangkap ikan payangka > 120 mm. Penggunaan jaring insang dalam aktifitas penangkapan ikan payangka berpengaruh terhadap keseimbangan populasi jantan dan betina namun sangat selektif terhadap ukuran.

Nei canali sommersi della clandestinità, la Resistenza passò anche attraverso una cultura che si conservava ostinatamente di respiro europeo, attraverso i vasti orizzonti dei progetti editoriali: come quello de La Nuova Biblioteca editrice, di Carlo Bernari, che portò avanti lo sperimentalismo degli anni Trenta (e di una Napoli in contatto con la Parigi di Breton e con il secondo surrealismo al servizio della rivoluzione), aprendosi alle nuove correnti artistiche d'Europa, non solo anticipando la visione del mondo del dopoguerra e le domande su una nuova definizione di uomo, ma anche mantenendo ampi i confini di una stagione che fu definita neorealistica quando ormai il termine, almeno in letteratura, aveva perso molto del suo significato originario. Si dovrebbe parlare, piuttosto, per gli anni dell’immediato dopoguerra, di neo-espressionismo, come le scelte editoriali de La Nuova Biblioteca confermano, orientate verso quella “seconda ondata dell'espressionismo” che Contini individua nella Germania Weimar. Solo dopo il ritrovamento dell'intero catalogo delle edizioni de La Nuova Biblioteca, pubblicato il 7 giugno 1944 nella Roma appena liberata, si è potuta ricostruire la portata di questo progetto e il vasto orizzonte che ne orientava il disegno. A rendere prezioso il catalogo de La Nuova Biblioteca non è solo la preparazione di testi che sarebbero stati fondamentali per la nuova cultura del dopoguerra (come, per la prima volta in Italia, l’ opera omnia di Antonio Gramsci, in un'edizione priva di tagli e perciò anticipatrice dell'edizione critica di Gerratana del 1975) o la presenza di nomi come Delio Cantimori, Umberto Barbaro, Franco Calamandrei, Ettore Lo Gatto, Lombardo Radice, Alicata e Sapegno, ma è anche la particolare fase cronologica in cui questo progetto prende forma: si tratta di un lasso di tempo breve, apertosi a ridosso della guerra e destinato a chiudersi rapidamente: è come uno squarcio, in cui il magma di materiali diversi accumulatosi nei canali della clandestinità affiora per un’ultima volta prima che intorno si irrigidiscano gli schemi di nuove culture sempre più dominanti. Torneranno a inabissarsi, queste narrazioni aperte alla deformazione, alla menzogna romanzesca e alla commistione tra le arti; tuttavia come un fiume carsico continueranno a scorrere, andando a unirsi a tutte quelle correnti che procedendo parallele, tra inversioni, stalli e rivolgimenti, attraverseranno l'intero secolo.

Abstract:
This project reconstructs the development of art exhibitions promoted by the committee “Francia-Italia” in Turin from 1951 to 1964. This committee organized the art exhibitions “Peintres d’aujourd’hui. France-Italie” (or “Pittori d’Oggi. Francia-Italia”), earlier in the halls of the “Promotrice” from 1951 to 1959, and later at GAM from 1961. This committee extends its own action, beyond the seven editions of “Pittori d’Oggi” (1951,1952, 1953, 1955, 1957, 1959, 1961) with Chagall’s (1953), de Staël’s (1960), Robert and Sonia Delaunay’s (1960), Vieira da Silva’s (1964) great exhibitions. The exhibitions “Pittori d’Oggi” arose on the initiative of some influential members of Turin upper middle class and it have been organized by Vittorio Viale, director of Musei Civici, and by the critic of art and journalist Luigi Carluccio. The exhibitions should symbolize the modern art twinning of two nations. For each exhibitions the two different artistic committees, one for France (Cogniat, Cassou, Lassaigne, Estienne, Jullian, Huyghe, Besson, Laymarie) and one for Italy (Viale, Arcangeli, Argan, Carluccio, Pallucchini, Ragghianti e Vitali), draw up long lists of artists who would represent, on their opinion, the best of the artistic production of the two countries. In this way, “Francia-Italia” takes part in the debate between realism and abstractionism and show the progress of critical reception of the French painting in Italy, from Pignon and Manessier to Fautrier.

Superati «novant’anni d’impazienza» e dopo un lungo periodo votato all’autocommento e all’esplorazione delle proprie intenzioni, Raffaele La Capria ha raccolto le sue opere in due Meridiani curati da Silvio Perrella. La Capria ne ha celebrato l’uscita nella prolusione inaugurale di Salerno Letteratura, poi confluita nel breve autoritratto narrativo "Introduzione a me stesso" (2014). In questa sede, l’autore è tornato su alcuni punti essenziali della sua riflessione sulla scrittura, come la relazione, reciproca e ineludibile, fra tradizione e contemporaneità. All’epilogo del «romanzo involontario» di una vita, La Capria guarda retrospettivamente alla propria esperienza come ad un’autentica educazione intellettuale. Perciò, muovendo da un’intervista inedita del 2015, riportata integralmente in appendice, la tesi ha l’obiettivo di ricostruire l’apprendistato letterario di La Capria dai primi anni Trenta, quando l’autore ancora frequentava il ginnasio, fino all’inizio dei Sessanta, quando ottenne il premio che ne avrebbe assicurato il successo. Il percorso, che riesamina l’intera bibliografia lacapriana nella sua varietà e nella sua stratificazione, si articola in una serie di fasi interdipendenti: la partecipazione indiretta alle iniziative dei GUF (intorno alle riviste «IX maggio» e «Pattuglia»); l’incursione nel giornalismo e l’impegno culturale nell’immediato dopoguerra (sulle pagine di «Latitudine» e di «SUD»); l’attività di traduttore dal francese e dall’inglese (da André Gide a T.S. Eliot); l’impiego alla RAI come autore e conduttore radiofonico (con trasmissioni dedicate a Orwell, Stevenson, Saroyan e Faulkner); la collaborazione con «Il Gatto Selvatico», la rivista dell’ENI voluta da Enrico Mattei e diretta da Attilio Bertolucci; e le vicende editoriali dei suoi primi due romanzi, “Un giorno d’impazienza” (1952) e “Ferito a morte” (1961), fino alla conquista dello Strega. La rilettura dell’opera di uno scrittore semi-autobiografico come La Capria, attraverso il costante riscontro di fonti giornalistiche, testimonianze epistolari e documenti d’archivio che avvalorano e occasionalmente smentiscono la sua versione dei fatti, diventa allora un’occasione per immergersi nella sua mitografia personale e avventurarsi in territori finora poco esplorati: come la ricostruzione del suo profilo culturale, a partire dal milieu in cui La Capria vive e opera, o l’incidenza delle letture e delle esperienze giovanili sulla sua prassi letteraria.

The chapter covers the richest five years in terms of literary output by Reghini and chronicles his relations with members of the Fascist party, including a heated journalistic debate with Mussolini himself. The core of this section is formed by the analysis of the most important journals that Reghini founded and contributed to: Atanòr, Ignis, and Ur. The relationships between Reghini and other important names of the Italian occultist milieu, including Giuliano Kremmerz, Julius Evola, and Aniceto del Massa, are scrutinized, and more light is shed on the practical occult rituals performed by the Ur Group, a coterie of magicians, including Reghini, Evola, and Reghini’s disciple Giulio Parise, who practiced rites to enhance the anti-modern traits of the Fascist regime. A textual analysis of the most important contributions closes the chapter.

Giulio Genoino, a learned lawyer who has long championed electoral parity across the classes, speaks to the knights of the noble seggi against the most recent gabella. Both Genoino and Masaniello have suffered at the hands of the duke of Maddaloni, Diomede Carafa. But an alliance with the nobles is not easy, even if, with the rest of Naples, they share strong feelings against Spanish rule.

Abstract:
This chapter examines cinema's representation of anarchist heroes, martyrs, and fleeting revolutionary moments, formulating a critique of mainstream socialism that is far from the banalities of bourgeois sociology. Two films, Bo Widerberg's Joe Hill (1971) and Giuliano Montaldo's Sacco and Vanzetti (1971), deal with a transitional historical period before the final polarization of Bolshevism and anarchism. These films are reverential tributes to radical martyrs, and reflect the fact that these members of the Old Left pantheon have long been heralded as all-purpose leftists whose legacies provide useful object-lessons for socialists, liberals, and communists, as well as anarchists. The chapter then looks at the documentary and fiction films inspired by the Spanish Revolution of the 1930s. It also considers a prototypical sequence in Grigori Kozintsev and Leonid Trauberg's Soviet avant-garde epic New Babylon (1929), which sums up the grassroots anti-authoritarianism of the seventy-two-day Paris Commune of 1871, while prefiguring the Spanish libertarian communism of the 1930s and the anti-statist radicalism that erupted during the events of May 1968 in France.

Il futuro delle metropoli sarà quello di continuare ad aumentare in dimensioni ed estensioni, fagocitando territorio, oppure ci sarà un momento in cui le cose cominceranno a cambiare, nella consapevolezza collettiva e politica, che è necessario assimilare i concetti di limite e di sostenibilità? Sembra che le svolte economiche globali abbiano già allertato le menti sensibili verso un necessario cambiamento di rotta nella governance urbana. Non è più possibile ignorare le trasformazioni, talvolta molto pericolose, in atto nelle nostre città, ed è piuttosto necessario tentare un loro indirizzamento verso passaggi temporali che considerino l'importanza della memoria collettiva, attivando l'engramma giusto per costruire nuove relazioni antropologiche, culturali e sociali. Nello specifico il paper vuole esaminare la realtà della città di Delhi, la capitale indiana, svelando l'esistenza nel suo corpo di zone di confine territoriali: zone dove ancora è possibile trovare e riconoscere tracce della sua antica origine rurale fatta di mestieri agricoli e artigiani, forni di argilla e terre coltivate. Questa anima della città, costituita da memorie, saperi e relazioni territoriali è stata minacciata, negli ultimi anni, dal desiderio cieco di espansione di imprenditori senza scrupoli e da decisioni non monitorate capillarmente relative ai piani di sviluppo urbanistico, le quali hanno avuto ricadute non prevedibili a spese del territorio e dell'ambiente. Negli ultimi anni, dopo la fine delle aspettative create dai Giochi del Commonwealth, la città ha sviluppato una rete infrastrutturale più veloce, promuovendo l'utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici e creando una rete metropolitana molto efficiente, presupposto iniziale per riconquistare la sua antica fama di città verde. Oltre a queste nuove potenzialità infrastrutturali anche i tessuti connettivi, tra area ed area e le grandi zone di verde urbano ( giardini, parchi e foreste ) potenziano l'ipotesi di trasformare Delhi in una delle più competitive capitali del futuro. Per realizzare questa visione è necessario creare vocabolari, strade e linguaggi, capaci di suggerire lo sviluppo di nuovi modelli di insediamenti urbani sopratutto nelle zone più sensibili ovvero laddove avviene l'incontro tra l'urbano ed il rurale. The future of the metropolis will be to increase in dimension and extension phagocyting territory, or it will be a moment where the things will start to change, in the collective and politic awareness, that it is necessary to absorb the concepts of limits and sustainability? It seems that the global economic turns have already alerted the sensitive minds towards a necessary change of the course of the urban governance. It is not possible to ignore longer, the transformations, sometime very dangerous, in our cities, todays. Rather it is necessary try to addressed them in a time crossing, capable of understanding the importance of the collective memory, attracting the proper engramma to build new anthropological, cultural and social relations. Specifically the paper would like analyze the reality of the city of Delhi, the Indian capital, disclosing the existences, on its body, of some territorial boundaries. Zones where it is possible to find and to recognize tracks of its ancient rural origins made by crafts and agricultural artisan, clay ovens and cultivated lands. This soul of the city, made by memories, knowledges and territorial relations was menaced, on the last years, from the blind wish of expansions of unscrupulous businessman and from decisions not capillary monitored relatively to urban development plans, which have had unpredictable consequences for the territory and for the environment. After the end of the expectations created from the Commonwealth Games, on 2010, the city developed an infrastructural net more quick, promoting the use of the public transports and creating an underground net very efficient, initial assumption to regain its former glory of green city. Over these new infrastructural potentialities also the connective tissues, between area and area and the big zones of urban green, like gardens, parks and forests, they had great potential in themselves to make Delhi one of the most competitive capital of the future.To realize this visions it is necessary to create vocabularies, roads and languages, capable of suggesting the development of new models of urban settlements mainly on the sensitive zones, where it will happen the encounter between urban and rural.
