Full textSwedish internet users use Internet today to search information for time tables news and which restaurant they want to visit. In order to reduce competition on the Internet it is important that they quickly find the information they search on the websites. For a company, a website can be used to build a professional brand. The purpose of the thesis was to investigate what gave restaurant feel to restaurant websites. The survey was conducted through a visual content analysis to map the content of the websites. Thereafter, a web survey was created where the respondents were allowed to decide what they considered created restaurant vibes for them. Analysis showed that the restaurant web sites used few colors and images where the images took a big place on the sites. This to let the pictures speak and the visitor can focus on the message that the restaurant wants to convey. The respondents from the web site thought that the size of the images was not critical, but it was the pictures that had links to food and restaurant environments that determined a restaurant feeling.

Full textThe aim of this literature review was to highlight how an individual with chronic pain experience its daily life. To catch the lived experiences from the individuals who suffered from chronic pain, only qualitative articles were used. Twelve articles met the scientific standards of quality according to Forsberg and Wengström (2003). The theoretical frame of reference was Carnevali’s (1999) model of nursing care and the results of the study were represented in accordance with Carnevali’s five demands in daily life – activities and experiences, occurrence and experience, expectations and obligations, surroundings and convictions, manners and customs. The experiences of the individuals were put under matching demands in daily life. An important role of the nurse is to gather and document information about a person’s inside and outside resources. Together with the individual she/he shall balance the demands and resources that exist in the daily life. The nurses’ duty is also to motivate, to support and to make the individual take responsibility of its own treatment. To care and to treat an individual with chronic pain doesn’t cure the individual, only mitigate.

Full textSingle households dominate the housing supply. But why must we live alone just because we do not have a partner? Both young and older has a positive attitude to a collective housing. Large apartments are available in the market; the problem is they are not designed for a shared accommodation, but rather for a nuclear family. I have sought to design apartments that caters to people who want to live together but who are not necessarily related. The leader of the project has been that if we share certain costly areas of accommodation, such as toilets and kitchens, we can instead give priority to increased floor space and create potential to make another accommodation dynamics and thus achieve a higher quality accommodation. If we can live more together, we can get qualities that small apartments can not give us. More offers more!

Full textAim:To describe what nursing students, specializing in intensive care, at a university college think about team based simulation training. Background: Communication and organization in health care are important factors to ensure patient safety. Nurses are called upon to be able to distribute and coordinate work tasks, while at the same time nurses should also be aware of safety promotion in health care to be able to provide safe patient care. There is a need in healthcare for team and communication training where team based simulation appears to be a pedagogic and reliable educational tool. Method: A pilot study where 32 nurses specializing in intensive care, were asked to respond to a survey on what they thought about a previously performed team based full scale simulation training. Results: In general the students confirmed that the exercise had a positive impact on their ability to practice team communication skills and to apply theory in practice. They expressed a wish for more simulation training during their education and in their upcoming professional role. Conclusion: Team based full scale simulation exercises seem to be a pedagogical teaching method to enhance competences and teach students to work together toward a common goal.
