Abstract:
NADRA Group was founded in 1991 by Ukrainian geologists. Over time, NADRA Group has transformed into an international group of affiliated service companies that provided high-tech services to production companies. NADRA Group has employed more than one and a half thousand employees, and then the International Hub for natural resources was established on its basis, which brought together hundreds of partner companies, which led to the transition from linear to network business and signifi cantly expanded the activities. Subsequently, the activity of NADRA Group has spread to all natural capital and overcoming environmental and social challenges of the XXI century. Signifi cant expansion of the company’s business has led to the transition to the platform business and re-branding of the company into GEO Hub. Throughout its 30 years of operation, the company has worked in the stressful conditions of the transition from a planned to a market economy, being able to mobilize in time and systematically demonstrate new opportunities, concentrating on the new and achieving what was previously considered impossible.

Abstract:
Green entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) is defined as organizations’ entrepreneurial efforts to integrate ecologically sustainable practices and values to undertake sustainable decisions and actions to improve their environmental performance. Though recent research has shown how important GEO is for attaining sustainability in a company setting, there is a limited understanding on the factors that determine GEO and how and when it affects a firm’s performance. Additionally, it draws attention to unexplored areas of the mediating and moderating factors that affect the connections between GEO and its outcomes. This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) of the GEO to synthesize empirical findings about how it is investigated in the literature during the period 2014–2024. The PRISMA method is used in this study to evaluate relevant GEO research, and SLR matrix utilized for analyzing the GEO literature in peer-reviewed English publications. A comprehensive evaluation of theoretical, methodological, and empirical issues pertaining to conceptual approaches, antecedents, dynamics, and results of GEO was conducted on 59 studies. This study contributes several findings to the entrepreneurship literature. These research findings give implications for both theory and practice. Within a theoretical framework, this study provides a comprehensive viewpoint on GEO research and creates novel insights for further research, enhancing the extant theories in the GEO literature. In practice, this study facilitates the perceptions of eco-conscious entrepreneurs, managers and experts, and other stakeholders of the organizations regarding developing an appropriate GEO by understanding the antecedents and outcomes of it for successful organizations and the ways to use and improve them probably.

Abstract:
This PhD dissertation is about state-companies of the energy sector relationship in the context of globalization. It aims to understand and analyze the strategies of influence between public actors and transnational companies. In order to do this, five cases-studies of specific state-company relationship, through a territorial issue, are studied. These five cases, selected ail around the planet and in ail energies fields, allow to understand all facets of the phenomenon, avoiding the biases of a too important cultural orientation. Indeed, by choosing to study both Western and Russian, Brazilian or Chinese companies, the set of practices could be understood. Those case-studies analysis results in a model of state-business relations in the energy sector with three main types, characterized by strengths and weaknesses. They are divided into relation of subordination, arbitration and opportunity, according to a structural or interpersonal closeness. These types allow, subsequently, to provide a comprehensive overview of the energy geo-economics. Understanding the dynamics and strategies of various stakeholders, governments, companies, international organizations and civil society organizations such as NGOs, helps to the overall comprehension of globalization phenomenon and the new role of companies as international actors

Abstract:
While the concept of geo-marketing is the conventional association of data and maps, the addition of local business listings, mobile marketing, and social media has made this kind of marketing more potent than ever. This marketing tool is now accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as major corporations. From a technical perspective, a user's IP address on the internet is connected to GPS data, such as longitudes and latitudes, which are technologically mapped to geographic locations all over the world down to the city and street level. Over the past few years, there have been many indications of the development of geographic marketing. Whether a company wants it or not, a technology will become a part of our daily lives when organisations like Google, Apple, and the Wall Street investing community start to support it with investments of $100 million and more. These geo-marketing technologies are already being used by consumers to identify local businesses, services, and products, and their use will only increase.

Abstract The modular continued to have fans. Bob thrilled to Keith Emerson’s exhibitionist performance at Gaelic Park; Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade featured a Moog soundtrack daily; Gershon Kingsley’s tune, “Pop Corn,” was playing worldwide; producers Malcolm Cecil and Bob Margouleff got Stevie Wonder using a Moog on his recordings. Bob’s company, fighting off competition from ARP and EMS, struggled to operate in a dilapidated former gelatin factory. For an advertising mascot, the firm rolled out a little cartoon musician: Maestro Moog. Bob redesigned the Sonic V as the Sonic Six. The Moog Percussion Controller and Guitar Interface were released, along with a preset keyboard—the Moog Satellite—that Waytena licensed to the Thomas Organ Company to build into its home organs. New hires Roger and Kathy Luther found a freewheeling atmosphere among Moog workers. Ikutaro Kakehashi, the future head of Roland, appeared on the Moog factory floor to study Bob’s technology.

Abstract:
In annual summer monsoon, geo-hazard is common. Monsoon-caused casualties and economic losses throughout the year accounted for 70% ∼ 80% of the total annual losses. Also, geo-hazard is a serious threat for pipeline operators to manage. Over 12,000 kilometers of pipelines with crude oil, gas, and refined oil are operated by PetroChina Pipeline Company. The pipelines, through sixteen provinces and cities, have been operated for over forty years. Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, as an effective spatial analysis tool, provides advanced analysis for pipeline geo-hazard prediction and early warning during summer monsoon based on field data and historical precipitation records. After many years of research and application of our prediction model of pipeline geo-hazard, an important link between geo-hazard and rainfall is understood. Rainfall is the main triggering factor of geo-hazards such as landslide and debris flow leading to heavy losses, especially rainstorm and heavy rainstorm. We use GIS technology to perform spatial analysis with predicted rainfall data the next twenty-four hours and the data of pipeline geo-hazard susceptibility, and predict the severity of pipeline impacts caused by geo-hazards during the next twenty-four hours. Finally, the result is modified by existed geo-hazards data. The pipeline geo-hazard early warning is divided into five ranks which are displayed by different colors, and pipelines damaged by geo-hazards and protection measures are also proposed. During July 16 and 17 of 2009 years, we released geo-hazard early warning four rank of Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Oil Pipeline through PetroChina Pipeline Company web page and the communication software of Instant Messaging. The Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Oil Pipeline Company acted promptly with a detailed deployment and emergency plan to ensure pipeline safety.

Abstract:
As part of the GoldenEye project with European co-financing type H2020, the Academic Leapfrog Geo licensed program was purchased, with which a 3D modeling of the deposit body was made based on open source data, geological maps of the Romanian Geological Institute, non- secret data of CUPRUMIN company and drone flights. The ore has not been modeled in 3D up to now, this work presents for the first time the first consolidated modeling that highlights the size of the ore deposit body. These modelings will allow the taking of technical decisions regarding: the mode of exploitation ( open-pit /underground, redefining the depth of the exploitation limit, the location and development of waste dumps, the geometry of the open pit, the location of underground mining works and preparation works for underground exploitation, data from structural geology). The 1:1 scale geometry of the open pit was traced through topographical measurements from the ground, drone and satellite surveys using Copernicus images. These data were correlated to check the information flow and the efficiency of the internal reporting of the project team in close collaboration with the CUPRUMIN beneficiary team. Three large monitoring campaigns were carried out in the period August 2021-May 2022-September 2022, on the current geometric model of the open pit, the drillings of thousands of meters were positioned with the initial coordinates and lengths, the main faults, the state of stability/instability of the slopes, the identification of four major categories of rock types.

Abstract:
Pipelines are multidisciplinary projects from their planning, design, and construction to their maintenance and upgrade. The success of a pipeline project relies heavily on coordination among environmental assessment disciplines, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Geographic information systems (GIS) play a major role in managing data and information across disciplines, and each environmental consulting company usually has at least one GIS department, which takes a lead role in maintaining current and historical data and information, and distributing it to various disciplines and business partners. We are developing a novel algorithm to utilize spatial data and convert it into useful geo-spatial information that a GIS department can directly utilize. Pipeline and environmental data from different sources undergo automatic registration, where common features between datasets are automatically detected and geometric transformation functions are automatically estimated. Experimental results demonstrate the robustness of the algorithm against changes or outliners and the accuracy of the transformation.

Abstract:
In the context of the Brazilian electrical sector, there are no references regarding the application of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and GIS (Geographic Information System) in construction and maintenance of Electric Power Substations. Thus, this work proposes the integration of these technologies, since previous experiences in other engineering fields have shown promising advances that could be useful for the management and maintenance of the electrical power market. By associating these technologies, it is possible to obtain a more accurate mapping of the information related to the assets, arrangements, cabling, electronic components, etc. Moreover, in order to have this integration working properly, it is required to also provide a three-dimensional geometric database of the entire set of the electric power substation active components. In fact, the insertion of one model into a particular point of the substation project allows constructive, operational and maintenance information. Therefore, by combining BIM and GIS in the modeled families, it is possible to obtain more consistent information during the construction or maintenance phase. This will provide advantages in decision making, resources within the corporate communication and a better understanding of the environment related to an electrical energy substation. Additionally, the location conditions and the surroundings of the substation would be more precise and pertinent since the components of the substation will become geo-referenced. The association between these two platforms allows a more intuitive overview of the project, making them adherent to the planning, design, construction, operation, preventive and corrective maintenance. So, when applying these tools together, the company will obtain results almost immediately, since all managing features will be accessed through only one integrated information database. This proposal presents the very first results of the integration of BIM and GIS, in the context of a Brazilian electric company - Furnas Energy. Implementation results of the solution in the context of substations of the company are discussed and shows the availability of reducing construction/maintenance costs, alteration planning, logistics, prevention of possible accidents and also the possibility of updating information in real time.

Abstract:
Abstract The maritime industry is preparing for a future where human presence is no longer required on board of ships. This will revolutionize maritime operations and consequentially introduce unprecedented challenges to the corresponding logistics. This paper provides a first piece of reflection on mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) problems regarding remote and autonomous operations in the maritime industry. A non-standard facility location problem (FLP) is constructed to determine the optimal locations for a number of facilities serving as refueling stations, and to obtain the optimal heterogeneous vessel fleet size & mix to satisfy the inspection demand of North-Sea assets over a multi-period timeframe. The model combines distinctive vessel routing behavior to assess a heterogeneous fleet of both remotely operated vessels and traditional vessels in the maritime survey industry. The simulation results are reported for a real case study commissioned by geo-data company Fugro. The final results of the model suggest that the effective establishment of facility locations and corresponding fleet allocation can reduce the operational costs and environmental footprint of the survey operations in the North-Sea.

Abstract:
Among other obligations imposed under the forestry permit, watershed rehabilitation planting is perceived by the upstream oil and gas sector as the most complex challenge to conquer. Despite its poor track in fulfilling timeline and required result, there are also other challenges to consider, for instance lack of critical location, weather, fire, land tenure, community habit and capability, and cost optimization. In attempt to respond these challenges, an innovation in management system is constructed at PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, embracing and tailoring all related challenges, difficulties, and complexities, escalating the activity to be beyond compliance. So that it will be able to deliver more than merely avoid the identified potential risks towards company. The management system, called PIRAMIDA TINGGI (Pemberdayaan Masyarakat untuk Melestarikan Hutan di Dunia demi Ketahanan Energi Nasional), actively involves government, community, and business sector as equilateral triangle that work together to perform watershed rehabilitation planting. Developed using ISO 9001:2015 process approach namely PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), the PIRAMIDA TINGGI system is in line as well with NAWACITA (President Joko Widodo’s vision, mission and program). To encounter other issue found during field work, this system is equipped as well with another innovation tool named PARIDA, a geospatial mobile-desk top-web application that easily able to map and identify vegetation in real time for further geo-analyzing multi-purposes, to be operated by local community. Full set implementation of this system has benefitted all parties. To Company in form of significant cost efficiency around 13.9 MUSD and 7 days’ faster result delivery besides obligation fulfillment, for others in form of broader advantage of proven sustainability project that has gave contribution to 5P (People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace), objectives required by UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

Abstract:
Abstract The oil and gas industry needs continuously improving in the exploration and extraction methods with a special care and strong compromise to maintain the equilibrium with environment. Based on that mission, and in compliance with the Parex Resources Greenhouse Gases and Climate strategy, Parex Resources executed the first multilateral drilling project in Colombia. It was an ambitious and challenging exploration campaign. The goal was to improve the exploration area by drilling multiples branches through different geological units and total vertical depths (TVD) into an overpressured naturally fractured field. The field presented a complex geological and structural environment. Expectations were high for both drilling optimization and formation evaluation of a compartmentalized reservoir, looking to cover the highest extension while drilling fewer wells from the surface. Considering the level of the challenge ahead, the solution was articulated in three critical fronts:Develop a vigorous planning with service company and operator engineering team for casing design, mud weight window and system, bottomhole assembly (BHA) design, and fit for purpose technology for directional drilling operations.Include a full set of logging data with reliable logging-while-drilling (LWD) tools and advanced mud logging services to fulfill geology requirements, as no wireline logging was planned due to constrains in a horizontal borehole.Implement well placement services with the most experienced team to geo-steer based on real-time data completely integrated for precise interpretation. The operational efficiency achieved was beyond expectations in all areas of well construction, not to mention the project cost reduction through the multilateral approach, preventing to drill three wells from surface. In this case, three different geological compartments were explored from one surface location. This innovative exploration approach also brought important gains on the environmental impact as surface operations were dramatically minimized compared to conventional exploration. This strategy helped the operator and service company to reduce the carbon footprint, simply by reducing the number of wells and operational days needed to explore new fields.
