Abstract:
This work deals with performance and security testing of blockchain protocols based on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus model. It describes properties, problems, but also the use of blockchain systems. On theoretical levels, this thesis compares the properties and resistance to various attacks of numerous PoS protocols, specifically Algorand, Casper, Gasper, Snow White, Stellar and Decred. Additionally, this work implements a protocol simulator of Algorand, Casper FFG and Gasper. The simulator is built on top of the Bitcoin Simulator simulation tool, which is based on the NS-3 discrete network event simulator. Then, it compares the properties of the implemented protocols using discrete simulation.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis aims to analyze and interpret the entire filmography of the Argentinian-born (1963) film-maker Gaspar Noe. It takes into account not only such well-known, critically acclaimed, and controversially received films as Seul contre tous (1998) and Irréversible (2002), but also Noe's short movies, commercial spots, and music videos. The thesis examines the central themes of Noe's cinema, among them, the relationship between sexuality and violence, revenge and its consequences, the individual standing against society. It describes in detail Noe's film language, traces the development of that language, and suggests where to look in the history of film for material that sheds light on the work of this remarkable French film-maker.

Abstract:
Gaspar Noé, a French-Argentine director, is known for the controversial themes and scenes in his filmography, where violence is the first thing that stands out. However, other elements can be identified that have equal relevance in the structure of his films. The human body is one of them. Noé presents the pleasure and suffering of his characters closely so that the viewer perceives them first-hand. He seeks to shock the viewer with scenes that are difficult to see and hear. The director exhibits things in a transgressive way to show the malaise that exists within France. This thesis offers a study on the construction of reality in cinema, the representation of French society, the New French Extremism and the social, political and economic context of France, which will allow a better understanding of its environment, the audiovisual language that uses and the references that have influenced his style. Likewise, these points will serve as the basis for analyzing the director's filmography. The analysis carried out shows that Gaspar Noé, from the beginning, exhibits a pessimistic reality that is reinforcing it over the years by showing a society that is crumbling, unhappy people whose actions are irreversible and the inevitability of destiny. This study enriches realism in film, incorporating the unconventional reality of Gaspar Noé.
Gaspar Noé, director franco-argentino, es conocido por los temas y escenas controversiales de su filmografía, donde la violencia es lo primero que destaca. No obstante, se puede identificar otros elementos que tienen igual relevancia en la estructura de sus películas. El cuerpo humano es uno de ellos. Noé presenta de cerca el placer y el sufrimiento de sus personajes para que el espectador los perciba en carne propia. Busca conmocionar al espectador con escenas difíciles de ver y escuchar. El director exhibe las cosas de una manera transgresora para mostrar el malestar que existe dentro de Francia. La presente tesis ofrece un estudio sobre la construcción de la realidad en el cine, la representación de la sociedad francesa, el Nuevo Extremismo Francés y el contexto social, político y económico de Francia, los cuales permitirán conocer mejor su entorno, el lenguaje audiovisual que utiliza y los referentes que han influido en su estilo. Asimismo, estos puntos servirán de base para analizar la filmografía del director. El análisis realizado evidencia que Gaspar Noé, desde sus inicios, exhibe una realidad pesimista que va reforzándola con los años al mostrar una sociedad que se desmorona, personas infelices cuyas acciones son irreversibles y la inevitabilidad del destino. Este estudio enriquece el realismo en el cine, incorporando la realidad poco convencional de Gaspar Noé.

Cependant, il est à l'origine d'une véritable poétique et s'emploie à donner sens à une écriture dont les multiples paradoxes ne font que souligner le caractère fondamentalement dynamique. Ruptures, effacements, métamorphoses sont les conditions mêmes de la poétique de Lorand Gaspar. Ils sont l'indispensable déséquilibre garant de la résurrection de l'écriture. L'immensité désertique devient, après avoir favorisé l'émergence d'une poétique fondée sur l'approche, apprentissage de l'étendue. For Lorand Gaspar traveller, the desert is a measure space he has actually experienced. It holds a major place in his whole work, where it is a setting, a theme and a source of image at the same time. Yet, it's at basis of a real poetic inspiration and it's used to give a meaning to writing, whose many paradoxes but stress the basically dynamic characteristic. The ruptures, the fadings, the metamorphosis are the very conditions of Lorand Gaspar's poetic inspiration. They are the necessary insalance guaranteeing the resurrection of writing. After contributing to the emergence of a poetic inspiration based on approach, the vastness of desert becomes an experimental learning of area. The desert and the imagination are two equally real spaces and they have the same structure, the same scheme. La poésie de Lorand Gaspar, par la constance de sa variété même et sa réticence à cultiver une forme fixe, semble autoriser l’hypothèse d’une "poétique du mouvement", qui se découvre en résonance avec toute une conception immanentiste du monde, advenue dès l’enfance du poète et cultivée au fil de l’expérience. Fortement indicative d’une relation analogique avec le système neuronal ― d’où la lecture que nous proposons d’une "neuropoétique" ―, cette poétique cinétique, tissée dans la tension stylistique d’une "continuité discontinue", serait pénétrée d’une poétique adverse, à la fois contraire et complémentaire, qui semble incliner vers les formes spécifiques d’une géographie élective. Fondée par une puissante thématique du relief et par l’expérience, fondamentale dans la vie de Gaspar, de la nature, cette théorie "géotropique" entend déployer la construction esthétique, dans l’œuvre, d’un "relief poétique", ou encore, pour dire en un mot l’instillation de la géologie dans la forme du poème, d’une géopoétique. La poétique de Lorand Gaspar, essentiellement contrastive, serait la conjugaison de ces deux mouvements linguistiques, de cette tension entre finitude et infini, qui montre que le poème de Gaspar n’est pas un élan simple dans le monde, mais un monde où le sujet, à travers l’invention poétique, tend, aussi bien, à se dégager de l’infini "mouvement" où il est engagé
Lorand Gaspar’s poetry bears a constant variety that resists the development of a fixed form. It thereby seems to allow for the hypothesis of a "poetics of motion" which echoes the poet’s immanence-based conception of the world, occurred to him since his childhood and fostered over the years of experience. Strongly pointing at an analogical relationship with the neuronal system, which accounts for our reading of a "neuropoetics", this kinetic poetics, woven in the intricate stylistics of a "discontinuous continuity", is likely infused with an adverse poetics, both contradicting and complementing it, which seems to tend towards the specific forms of a peculiarly chosen geography. Informed by a forceful theme of the relief and the fundamental experience of nature in Gaspar’s life, this "geotropic" theory means to display the aesthetic making up of a "poetic relief", or, of a geopoetics, a word that conveys the ingraining of geology into the form of the poem. Lorand Gaspar’s poetics, which is essentially contrastive, would bring together those two linguistic movements, this tense interplay between the finite and the infinite, which shows that Gaspar’s poem does not merely spring up to the world, but is, in itself, a world where the subject, through the poetic invention, also tends to break free from the infinite "movement" in which he is involved

A première vue, nos trois poètes Frénaud, Gaspar et Guillevic sont différents de par leurs histoire et origines. Toutefois, ce qui les réunit avant tout c’est qu’ils ont tous les trois rencontré les chemins de la poésie et y ont tracé le leur dans tout ce qui les différencie et les rassemble à la fois, dans la spécificité de chacun et de son univers poétique ainsi que dans leur quête insatiable de l’altérité. Altérité qui est partie constituante de la vie à travers les autres, l’Autre quel qu’il soit - une altérité et un sujet entre lesquels les frontières sont floues - et une altérité dans le langage poétique tentant toujours d’assumer les paradoxes. Un langage ou une écriture pour lesquels les trois hommes ont opté, qu’ils ont adoptés et qui ont fait d’eux trois grands poètes du XXe siècle. Cette thèse vise à faire ressortir et à souligner les visages de l’altérité, le rapport entre le « je » poète et ces visages là, leur importance et celle de notre rapport à eux pour une meilleure expérience et compréhension de la vie. Un rapport qui change les données et les idées classiques sur l’identité du « je » poète, sur la réalité et l’importance de l’Autre dans notre vie, ce qui se reflète donc ici dans les mots et œuvre de nos poètes en l’occurrence et qui va redonner nouvel habit à des notions ou termes comme lyrisme, chant, le « moi », etc. toujours envisagés dans un lien, un rapport, étroit avec l’Autre
At first sight, our three poets Frénaud, Gaspar, and Guillevic are different by their stories and origins. However, what gathers them above all is that they three had met the roads of poetry and drawn theirs in, with all what differentiates and assembles them at the same moment, with the specificity of each and his poetical universe as well as in their insatiable quest of otherness. An otherness which constitutes a part of life through the others, whatever this otherness is - an otherness and a subject between whom the borders are vague - an otherness as well in the poetical language always trying to assume the paradoxes. A language or a writing for which the three men opted, that they adopted and which made of them three important poets of the twentieth century. This thesis aims at highlighting and at underlining the faces of the otherness, the relationship between the "I" poet and these faces, their importance and that of our relationship with them for a better experience and understanding of life. A relationship which changes the data and the conventional ideas about the identity of the "I" poet, about the reality and the importance of the Other in our life, what is thus reflected here particularly in the very words and the poetical works of our poets. That kind of relationship restores new dress in notions or terms like lyricism, chant, the "self", etc. always considered in light of a close link and relationship with the Other

Lorand Gaspar, poète-chirurgien, connaît au cours de sa vie plusieurs départs, de nombreux voyages voire des exils. Parcourir des déserts, emprunter des chemins que les pieds des Bédoins ont foulés, lire, écrire, écouter de la musique, photographier le monde, participer à des recherches scientifiques. . . Occupent une place importante dans sa vie. Tous ces éléments aussi divers soient-ils ne s'opposent pas : ils se complètent et cheminent l'un vers l'autre. Lorand Gaspar souhaite découvrir et atteindre le point d'acmé qui relie entre eux les différents éléments, le corps et l'esprit, la poésie et la science, plus particulièrement les neurosciences, le matériel - qu'il soit désert, pierre, animal, plante - et l'immatériel. C'est au coeur de cette fusion que le poète entend trouver la lumière, celle qui permettra d'approcher la parole, celle qui permettra de comprendre le fonctionnement de l'oeuvre poétique, de sa parole et de soi-même. Lorand Gaspar, a poet-surgeon, experiences during his life several departures, numerous journeys and even exiles. Travelling across deserts, borrowing trails trodden by the Bedoins, reading, writing, listening to music, photographing the world, participating in scientific researches occupy an important part in its life. All these elements, no matter how diverse they may, are not opposed : they are complementary and each progresses towards the others. Lorand Gaspar wishes to discover and to reach the point of acme which connects the various elements, body and spirit, poetry and science - more particularly neurosciences -, the material world - be it a desert, a stone, an animal, a plant - and the immaterial one. It is in the heart of this fusion that the poet intends to find the light, which will allow him to approach the world, to understand the functioning of the poetic work, his word and himself. The work is thus crossed by various roads : science, poetry, philisophy, literature, photography, music. According to a systematic perspective, all these ways/voices converge towards the same point because all the threads of the same fabric, namely the sensitive reality that the Gasparian work resumes, try to reach certaint "absolute ground"

Abstract:
The use of lithium-ion batteries is something that is becoming more common in today’s society. They are found in a variety of electronic equipment such as mobile phones, laptops and tools. Several incidents have been reported due to lithium-ion batteries ending up in a state called thermal runaway. This in combination with the increasing demands for environmentally friendly and sustainable energy in the form of e.g. wind turbines and solar panels, can therefore lead to unforeseen consequences. Residual energy from wind or solar power can be stored in an energy storage, often a battery system of several interconnected lithium-ion batteries. In case of an incident in these storages where a large quantity of these batteries is located, there is a risk that an explosion will occur. This further leads to the interest if it’s possible to prevent an explosion with the help of mechanical ventilation.  The purpose of this report has been to investigate the reasons why these batteries are being able to cause an explosion, what gases are emitted in the event of a thermal runaway and how explosive they are. With the results given it’s possible to then perform calculations on ventilation capacity needed to maintain a non-explosive atmosphere. This was carried out through a literature study of currently available research combined with information from various authorities, hand calculations and calculations in Excel.  With the results of the literature study, it can be stated that the battery cell consisting of the cathode material lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide (NMC) is most reactive. The most common gases emitted from these cells during thermal runaway are hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, ethylene and ethane. These gases are also the most common gases during thermal runaway when the battery consists of a different cathode material, but the distribution may look different. All of these gases, with the exception of carbon dioxide, are flammable and can contribute to an explosive atmosphere.  Three different scenarios are developed where thermal runaway is assumed to take place at a battery cell inside battery storages of different sizes: two container-based energy storage and one battery storage for home use located in a garage space. In these respective scenarios, a certain number of cells are assumed to be in thermal runaway. The lower flammability limit for the ventilated gas mixture is determined to 8,53% based on the amount of emitted gas and the distribution of it due to thermal runaway. With the knowledge of the lower flammability limit of the emitted gas mixture, as well as other available data from each scenario, the desired capacity for ventilation is calculated at 0,23 m3/s for the two container-based battery storages and at 0,035 m3/s for the battery storage located in the garage space. If this capacity of the ventilation is present when thermal runaway occurs, it means that the concentration of combustible gases should remain below the lower flammability limit. It is worth noting that these calculations were performed to some extent based on assumptions and may therefore be judged more as approximate rather than exact.  The conclusions drawn by the performed calculations are that mechanical ventilation is a potential alternative to ensure that the atmosphere in a battery storage doesn’t become explosive if a thermal runaway occurs in the battery cells.

En envisageant une “poétique du vide dans l’œuvre de Lorand Gaspar”, nous nous sommes proposé d’interroger un rapport au monde et le fonctionnement de l’écriture qui le fonde. En effet, le vide semble caractériser un imaginaire de l’espace dominé par la représentation du désert. De plus, le vide dans toutes ses manifestations et ses nuances, est étroitement lié à un choix esthétique ainsi qu’à une pratique de l’écriture qui se veut “désencombrée” et qui procède par ellipses, omissions et non-dits. En outre, le vide s’actualise dans le schème du dépouillement, celui-ci donnant à voir un sujet “sans nom et sans visage”, un quelqu’un anonyme, dépossédé, et dont la parole se diffracte en de multiples postures énonciatrices. Faire le vide signifie aussi rompre avec les habitudes linguistiques et intellectuelles, mais aussi avec les clichés et les conventions. Le vide appelé aussi “vide-plein” ou “vide-médian”, est aussi l’indice de l’influence de la philosophie de la Chine ancienne dans l’œuvre de Lorand Gaspar. Celle-ci donnant l’exemple d’une vision immanente, prêtant attention à toute chose du monde mais aussi à ce qui les sous-tend, cet infigurable, ce “fond sans fond”. Le vide est aussi ce noyau d’indétermination autour duquel la parole gravite. Celle-ci se situant dans “l’entrebâillement “ des mots, dimension du vide interstitiel à appréhender par l’entrecroisement des figures et images. Non plus stable et fermé, le sens est dynamique. Il s’affirme comme champ de forces où sont à l’œuvre combinaisons et translations diverses. La poétique du vide situe le discours dans “l’implicite et le suggéré” appelant ainsi l’interprétation et sollicitant le désir herméneutique du lecteur
In undertaking to write “ a poetics of the void in Lorand Gaspar’s œuvre”, the thesis aims at investigating a kind of relationship with the world and the functioning of the writing governing that relation. Indeed, “void” seems to characterize an imaginary space dominated by the representation of the desert. Furthermore, “void” in all its manifestations and nuances is closely related to an aesthetic choice as well as a practice of writing, which wants to single itself out as a form of clearing and proceeds by ellipses, omissions and the unsaid. Moreover, “void” is realized in the scheme of terseness, lending a view of a subject “ without a face and without a name,” an anonymous subject, dispossessed and whose voice is refracted in a multiplicity of enunciating positions. To create and inhabit a blank space requires doing away with linguistic and intellectual habits as well as with clichés and conventions. The void called “ full emptiness” or “median emptiness” marks the presence of Ancient China in the works of Lorand Gaspar. It is manifest in the immanent vision, which remains attentive to everything in the world and to what underpins everything: that inscrutable and unrepresentable, or the “ bottomless depth. ” The void is also that nucleus of indetermination around which turns the poetic word. The latter is situated in the gaping of words, which is a dimension of the interstices of the void to be approached by the intertwining of figures and images. No longer stable and closed, meaning becomes dynamic. It comes as situated in an arena where a variety of combinations and translations compete. The poetics of the void situates discourse in the frame of “the implicit and the suggested,” calling forth interpretation and inviting the hermeneutic desire and need of the reader

Esta tese trata da contextualização da geometria descritiva como sistema de representação na arquitetura. Desenvolve-se a partir da desconstrução da Géométrie descriptive de Gaspard Monge, publicada em 1799, acompanhando a exposição de seu autor desde o conteúdo da capa até a sua última página, de onde são destacadas partes a serem estudadas entre os textos, desenhos e a própria apresentação da obra. Desconstruir a teoria mongeana apresenta-se relevante neste estudo por investigar sobre as lições dadas por Monge em 1799, que coexistem até o momento com outras representações, entretanto sem um questionamento e entendimento epistemológico. Considerando que existem distorções na exposição original das lições mongeanas em obras subseqüentes à Géométrie descriptive e que conceitos de representação determinam limites de compreensão do espaço que implicam na própria arquitetura, este estudo dá abertura de resignificação à teoria original de Monge no ensino de arquitetura.
This thesis is about the descriptive geometry contextualization as an Architecture representation system. It was developed after Gaspard Monge’s Géométrie descriptive deconstruction, published in 1799, accompanying its author exposition since its cover content until its last page, form where parts are detached to be studied among the texts, draws and the own handiwork presentation. To deconstruct Monge’s theory is relevantly presented in this study for investigate Monge’s lessons taught in 1799 that coexists until this moment with different representations, without any question and epistemology understanding. Considering that there are distortions in the original Monge lessons exposition in Géométrie descriptive following handiwork and that its representation concepts determinate limits to the space comprehension that imply the Architecture itself, this study gives opening to Monge’s original theory resignification in the Architecture teaching.

Abstract:
Le langage poétique est articulé en séries discrètes selon une combinatoire complexe, que Lorand Gaspar rappelle dans ses essais pour invalider la conception traditionnelle du poème, de ses contours à sa réception. Cette discontinuité implique chez lui une décomposition graphique originale du poème, qu'approfondit notre étude des blancs poétiques, de la typographie, et de la (dé)ponctuation dans une première partie, puis dans les deux dernières, une analyse des autres division de la parole poétique : au niveau du mot, du phonème, de la syntaxe nominale, du rythme, des répétitions lexicales, et des images. Chez Lorand Gaspar, l'espace di poème est déstructuré, et la polysémie met davantage en valeur le signifiant, précisément en exploitant la polyphonie, l'indéterminé, et le fragmentaire, ce qui remet encore en cause notre perception du réel, et justifie une esthétique à la fois de l'effraction et de la (re)présentation. Évitant tout dualisme réducteur (la discontinuité assimilée à la non-continuité), cette étude stylistique tente de mieux comprendre la contradiction entre une poésie fragmentaire et une poétique qui postule au contraire la continuité du sujet avec "le texte de la vie"
The poetic language is articulated into separate series, according to a complex combination that Lorand Gaspar uses in his works to redefine the traditional conception of poetry, from its outlines to its reception. To him, this discontinuity entails an original and graphic breakup of the poem, that is analysed further in the first part about the poetic blanks, typography, and punctuation, then again in the subsequent parts about the different divisions in the poetic speech : words, phonemes, verbless syntax, rhythm, repetitions of vocabulary or images. In Lorand Gaspar's works, the poetic space in shattered, and the polysemy emphasizes the signifier, especially when it takes advantage of polyphony, indetermination, fragmentation. . . All that once again calls into question our perception of rality, and builds aesthetics of dislocation and presentation. Avoiding any dualism and prejudice (discontinuity is not non-continuity), this stylistic study tries to further explore the paradox between a poetry of fragmentation, and poetics that conversely exposes the continuity of the subject with the "text of existence"

Syftet med uppsatsen är att analysera meningen bakom den franska filmen Climax (2018) regisserad av Gaspar Noé. Filmen är vag i sin struktur, berättelse och natur vilket gör det svårt för en tittare att förstå vad filmen försöker kommunicera för mening. Analysen strukturerar uppsatsen i fem kapitel, skapat från filmens sex olika titelkort som kommer upp under dess duration samt ett sjätte kapitel för att analysera titelkortens mening. I varje kapitel analyserar uppsatsen filmens karaktärer och gruppdynamik genom användningen av flera filosofiska begrepp som stärkande teori. Begreppen är existentialism, nihilism, ego och gemenskap. Först undersöker uppsatsen hur filmen gestaltar dessa teman, sedan sammanfattas vad dessa gestaltningar försöker kommunicera. Uppsatsen kommer fram till att filmen är en representation samt kritik om att forma ens livssyn efter filosofiska begrepp. Det är en representation av karaktärernas ageranden samt en kritik från hur berättelsen negativt behandlar dessa karaktärer.

Resumo: O transporte de sedimentos em corpos d'água pode ser influenciado por diversas ações antrópicas, entre elas a construção de ponte sobre canais, com seus pilares imersos na água. Essas intervenções podem alterar a dinâmica dos rios, alterando as velocidades de escoamento da água e padrões de erosão/sedimentação ao longo do canal, mas principalmente na região da ponte. As obstruções causadas pelos pilares diminuem as velocidades a montante da ponte e aumentam as taxas de deposição de sedimento. Já nos vãos entre os pilares, o escoamento adquire altas velocidades. Esse efeito, somado a falta de sedimento, retido a montante, aumentam as taxas de erosão a jusante da ponte. Como consequência dessas mudanças abruptas de velocidade e transporte de sedimento, o leito do rio torna-se irregular, apresentando grandes variações de profundidades. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os efeitos dos pilares da ponte Eurico Gaspar Dutra sobre a evolução morfológica do rio Paraguai. A área de estudo está localizada no trecho do Passo do Jacaré, distrito de Porto Esperança, no Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil. Para essas análises avaliou-se a hidrodinâmica e o transporte de sedimento do rio, com o auxílio de dois modelos matemáticos bidimensionais integrados na vertical, o CCHE2D e o Delft3D. Ambos modelos permitem simulações de escoamentos com superfície livre, transporte de sedimento e processos morfológicos. A metodologia do trabalho seguiu trabalhos científicos que discutem evolução morfológica de fundo de rios sob influência de obstáculos, apesar das peculiares características do rio Paraguai. A comparação dos resultados gerados pelos modelos com a realidade, comprova que a presença da ponte altera os processos de transporte de sedimento, a montante e a jusante, e tem efeitos indesejáveis para a própria estrutura da ponte. A ausência de pilares faz com que o leito se modifique rapidamente para atingir um novo equilíbrio dinâmico, diminuindo as grandes variações de profundidade. Abstract: Sediment transport in water bodies can be influenced by several human activities, including the construction of a bridge over rivers with its piers inserted in water. These disturbances can modify the river dynamics, by changing the water flow rates and erosion/sedimentation patterns along to the channel, but mainly at the bridge surroundings. Constriction of piers decrease the velocities upstream and increase deposition sediment rates. The flow gets high speeds at the gaps between the piers. This effect, coupled with the lack of sediment trapped upstream, increase erosion rates downstream of the bridge. As result these velocities and sediment transport changes, river bed becomes irregular with large depths variations. This study aims to analyze the Eurico Gaspar Dutra bridge piers effects on the Paraguai river morphological evolution. The study area is stretch Passo do Jacaré, Porto Esperança district, in the Mato Grosso do Sul state, Brazil. The analyzes evaluated the river hydrodynamics and sediment transport with two-dimensional depth-integrated mathematical models, CCHE2D and Delft3D. Both models allow simulations of free surface flows, sediment transport and morphological processes. The study methodology followed papers that discuss river morphological evolution under barriers influences, despite peculiar characteristics of the Paraguai river. The comparison of the results generated by the models indicate that the bridge changes the sediment transport processes, upstream and dowstream, with undesirable effects on the structure of the bridge. Removal of the piers causes the bed to modify quickly to achieve a new dynamic equilibrium, reducing large depth variations. Key-words: morphological evolution, bridge effects, sediment transport.

L'œuvre de Lorand Gaspar manifeste constamment le souci de proposer une approche poétique du fait de vivre fondée sur la non-discrimination, du corps aux idées, des cultures à la nature. L'objet de cette thèse est d'analyser les modalités de cette approche comme correspondant à un ensemble de relations, afin de dégager certains principes, poétiques mais aussi éthiques, en tant que cherchant à promouvoir une conception exigeante et heureuse de l'individu en prise avec le réel. Pour cela, une lecture des œuvres poétiques qui ont paru les plus représentatives a dans un premier temps été privilégiée, afin de dégager, par l'étude des textes, en particulier philologique, un cheminement de l'ensemble de l'œuvre comme mettant en place des représentations évolutives de l'existence. Ces représentations reposant sur des relations, entre le sujet locuteur, son environnement et des figures d'altérité, il a semblé dans un deuxième temps utile de revenir sur certaines relations particulières dans la pratique poétique elle-même, aux arts visuels, à des disciplines telles que les sciences naturelles, l'histoire de la médecine, l'histoire et l'ethnologie, enfin à d'autres poètes, notamment Georges Séféris et Rainer Maria Rilke. En s'attachant toujours à lire les textes dans leur détail, avec une attention particulière portée aux polysémies possibles et aux intertextes, ces lectures, s'appuyant sur certaines œuvres poétiques et récits, ont cherché à mettre en évidence les enjeux éthiques de la représentation des figures d'altérité. Enfin, un troisième volet de la réflexion, articulant la lecture philologique à une approche thématique, en examinant le traitement dans des œuvres de poésie et des essais de questions telles que la violence et le sens de l'histoire, l'Orient et ses habitants, et la poésie comme engagement humaniste, vise à étudier dans l'œuvre l'élaboration d'une éthique à la fois poétique et existentielle, et à souligner son importance dans des débats d'idée contemporains
The work of Lorand Gaspar shows a constant concern about proposing a poetical approach of the fact of living founded on non-discrimination, from the body to ideas, from cultures to nature. The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the modalities of this approach, in order to clarify some of its main principles, poetics but also ethics, as aiming to promote a both demanding and harmonious conception of the individual facing reality. For this, a reading of the poetic works which have seemed the most representatives has first been chosen, in order to identify, through the study of texts and especially philological study, a global progress of the work as performing dynamical representations of existence. Those representations being based on relations, between the subject, his environment and figures of otherness, it has seemed relevant, in a second time, to study more specific relations in the poetical practice itself, relations to the visual arts, to disciplines such as natural sciences, history of medicine, history and ethnology, and finally to other poets, particularly George Seferis and Rainer Maria Rilke. Always as much as possible focused on the detail of the texts, with a particular attention to the possible polysemies and intertexts, those readings, based on both poetical and narrative writings, have tended to highlight the ethical purpose of representing the otherness. Lastly, a third step of the reflection, joining the philological reading to a thematic approach, through a review of the treatment in some poetic writings and essays of questions such as violence and the meaning of history, Orient and its inhabitants, and poetry as a humanist commitment, aims to study in the work of Lorand Gaspar the process of an ethic both poetical and existential, and to point out its importance in contemporary debates

Abstract:
This thesis explores the legacy of Catalan cellist and composer Gaspar Cassadó (1897–1966). It provides a summary of his life and legacy, an analysis of his performance style and transcription style, and explores the implications of the findings for the related fields of Catalan and Spanish twentieth-century music, musical transcription and twentieth-century cello performance. The text is complemented with a CD containing recordings of cello works by Cassadó performed by the author of this thesis, as well as the first attempt to list definitively Cassadó’s compositions, transcriptions and recordings, which are found in Appendices I–IV. Cassadó’s performance style is analysed mainly through recording comparisons between him and a number of cellists connected with his cultural and historical background. The comparisons conclude that Cassadó, although displaying certain similarities with other cellists in the comparison, cannot truly be said to have belonged to a tradition or generation based solely on performance characteristics; instead more general aspects of approach, philosophy and influence exerted on other performers need to be taken into account. The discussion of his transcriptions includes a study of music transcription history and the related area of language translation, to provide a context for a number of case studies, analysing genres and styles within Cassadó’s output. The study concludes that a definite attempt is perceptible on Cassadó’s part to widen the concept of cello transcription as creative practice, as well as to approach the great historical exponents in the field, such as Franz Liszt. It also emphasises the unusual breadth in styles and types of his output. An additional commentary relates the author’s own performance experience of Cassadó’s works, especially with regard to performing several unpublished works and first-hand study with one of Cassadó’s disciples. Some conclusions from this commentary include a number of interpretative details of possible use for the future performer of Cassadó’s works, with the intention not to be prescriptive but rather to open up new and stimulating possibilities for the performances of this repertoire, keeping in mind Cassadó’s own practice of using performances as a workshop to improve musical scores.

The Professional Master's Thesis in Cultural Heritage had as a clause to elaborate the planning and historical background of an exhibition that treated about the historical relation of the city of Silveira Martins - founding members of the Quarta Colônia de Imigração Imperial of Rio Grande do Sul - with its patron, Gaspar Silveira Martins. Gaspar Silveira Martins was a politician from the second half of the nineteenth century, which belonged to the Liberal Party of Rio Grande do Sul, he was among other positions as minister, a senator and the president of the Province. During his political career he defended the arrival of European immigrants to Brazil, specifically; to Rio Grande do Sul, and such defense is manifested in the creation s political support of the Colonial Center in Santa Maria from Boca do Monte in 1877, the one which would root the Colony of Silveira Martins. So, aiming to spread the knowledge about the local/regional history as a cultural heritage to the community in the city and in the region of Silveira Martins, an exhibition was organized. It was used panels with text and images, relating to the Italian immigration, the creation of Quarta Colônia, the border character Gaspar Silveira Martins, and the today s city of Silveira Martins. This exhibition has the Silveira Martins City Hall s support that will launch in the municipal week in December of 2011.
Esta Dissertação está inserida na linha de pesquisa História e Patrimônio Cultural do Mestrado Profissionalizante em Patrimônio Cultural. Seu objetivo foi realizar a proposta de uma Exposição apresentando a história do Município de Silveira Martins relacionada a atuação política do seu patrono Gaspar Silveira Martins, mostrando as relações deste com a imigração e com a criação da Quarta Colônia. Gaspar Silveira Martins foi um político da segunda metade do século XIX, que pertenceu ao Partido Liberal no Rio Grande do Sul, sendo inclusive o criador deste partido. Durante sua carreira política defendeu a vinda de imigrantes para o Brasil, especificamente, para o Rio Grande do Sul, sendo que tal defesa se manifesta mais evidentemente no apoio do político na criação do Núcleo Colonial de Santa Maria da Boca do Monte que daria origem a Colônia Silveira Martins. Assim, dentro do objetivo de divulgar essa história e de pensá-la como patrimônio cultural da população de Silveira Martins, é que se organizou uma exposição de painéis, utilizando textos e imagens, que apresentassem e divulgassem a história do Município Silveira Martins, relacionado-a ao seu patrono Gaspar Silveira Martins e a Quarta Colônia. A exposição deverá ser inaugurada no Município Silveira Martins no dia 14 de dezembro de 2011, na Semana de Aniversário do Município.

Nesta pesquisa são verificados os aspectos de sustentabilidade do Loteamento Margem Esquerda em Gaspar, um reassentamento habitacional construído para o atendimento à população afetada pela catástrofe de 2008 no Vale do Itajaí. Neste ano ocorreram fenômenos naturais extremos que ocasionaram vários deslizamentos e enchentes nas áreas próximas ao Rio Itajaí-Açu, deixando o município em situação de calamidade pública. Dentre as ações de reconstrução frente aos danos ocorridos no estado, têm-se a reconstrução habitacional. As políticas e planos, nacionais e estaduais de habitação instituem a moradia digna em busca do desenvolvimento sustentável. Considerando-se que o setor da construção se caracteriza como um dos principais responsáveis pela degradação ambiental, acredita-se ser relevante analisar a aplicabilidade dos critérios de sustentabilidade nas construções, neste caso, um reassentamento habitacional. Considerando-se ainda a habitação digna uma condição essencial ao desenvolvimento humano. O método utilizado consta no levantamento de dados e caracterização do loteamento e a aplicação de uma ferramenta de classificação existente, o Selo Casa Azul. Este trabalho busca explicitar incongruências e inadequações nas soluções apresentadas no reassentamento habitacional selecionado. Pretende-se lançar uma discussão de modo a contribuir para escolhas adequadas na construção de habitações dignas e mais sustentáveis.
On this study are verified the sustainability aspects of the Residential Allotment Margem Esquerda at the city of Gaspar. This settlement was built for the population who was affected by the 2008 catastrophe in the Itajaí Valley. In this year some a natural phenomenon happened which caused several landslides and flood and left the city on a public calamity situation. Between the actions to reconstruct the damages happened on the state, there is the housing reconstruction. The national and state housing policies establish decent housing in the pursuit of sustainable development. Considering that the construction sector is one of the major contributors to environmental degradation, it is believed to be relevant to analyze how the criteria of sustainability in buildings are being taken, in this case, a housing resettlement. Also considering the decent housing a essential condition to the human development. The method used for the study case contained in data collection and characterization of allotment and application of a classification tool existent called Selo Casa Azul. This work intends to clarify inconsistencies and inadequacies in the solutions presented on the housing resettlement chosen. It is the intention to launch a discussion in order to contribute to appropriate choices in building decent housing and more sustainable.

Through his vision of the world as text, lorand gaspar takes his place amongst the thinkers who have the deepest roots in judeo-christian traditions. The idea of an inherent textualism in everything was developed by way of the medieval jewish mystique. By backing it up with his reference to genetics, gaspar incorporates it into his poetics. It's to his experience of the desert that the author owes his discovery of poetry. His intuition of belonging - since his origins - to the near east has provided us with a thread that we can use to attempt to retrace his itinerary. Perceived as a "landscape(s) of genesis and of the falling of angels", this space permits the poet to dig into all of the strata in the history of the word. It's in silence, in this "vertical solitude", that the road of the "interior distance" is travelled. In his poetics, the "text of life" corresponds with the "writing of the world", in his celebration of the "gesture of matter", every element is a carnal presence. A fragmentary writing responds to the density of silence. A knowledge through the senses responds to the corporal nature of light. Everything is brought into play so that the text will be equal to the "inexhaustible poiein". At the centre of the work, there is also the other. It is one of his reasons for existing. His presence is a conjuration of all exiles, to the extent that it allows the being in search for his/her origins to grasp the world as a vast home

O presente trabalho busca analisar e interpretar o pensamento político e econômico do Dr. José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia [1766-1840], reconhecido intelectual, dirigente da independência paraguaia e Ditador Supremo daquele país entre 1814 e 1840. A partir da correspondência pessoal, ordens e decretos escritos pelo ditador paraguaio, propõe-se compreender distintas facetas de seu pensamento e, em certa medida, compará-las com determinadas ações de seu governo. Este estudo está contextualizado por uma descrição geral das características econômicas, políticas e sociais do Paraguai, desde a Colônia até o começo do processo da independência sul-americana e a posterior ascensão política do doutor Francia, determinada, por sua vez, pelas vicissitudes da crise regional que levou à conformação de Estados nacionais na Bacia do Prata.
The purpose of this research is to analyze and interpret the political and economical thought of Dr. José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia [1766-1840], a recognized intellectual, leader of the Paraguayan independence and countrys Supreme Dictator between 1814 and 1840. From personal correspondence, orders and decrees written by the Paraguayan dictator, the research aims at understanding different aspects of his thought and, to some extent, compare them with certain actions of his government. This objective is contextualized by an overview of the economic, political and social features of Paraguay, from the colonial period to the beginning of the process of South American independence and the subsequent political rise of Dr. Francia, determined, in turn, by the vicissitudes of the regional crisis that led to the forming of national states on the Río de la Plata Basin.

La programmation parallèle requiert de multiples compétences. Il faut à la fois posséder les méthodes de programmation, mais aussi les méthodes du domaine pour lequel le programme est destiné. La programmation visuelle permet une programmation plus intuitive, et donc plus facile. C'est dans ce cadre que nous avons choisi de développer GASPARD. GASPARD est un environnement de programmation parallèle visuel dédié dans un premier temps au traitement du signal. Dans une première partie, nous décrivons l'intérêt des langages visuels, ainsi que l'interaction qui peut être mis en œuvre entre composant et langage visuel. Ensuite, nous décrivons notre interface graphique, le soin apporté pour une utilisation intuitive, ainsi que les choix effectués. Enfin, nous étudions les mécanismes nécessaires pour étendre GASPARD à un traitement moins systématique, et en déduisons les conséquences pour notre modèle. Nous portons aussi notre étude sur l'utilisation de composants génériques au sein de GASPARD.

The main objective of this research is to formulate interpretative principles and proposals from a comprehensive bibliographic study of folklore and stylistic elements of Spanish music. This research is established from a melodic and structural analysis of the Suite for Solo Cello by Gaspar Cassado, from the performer s perspective, since the work is based on melodies and rhythms of Spain, as well as cultural elements of the Catalonia region. New interpretative challenges are established from the determination of stylistic features of the Suite, considering the composer s origin and his compositional influences.
O principal objetivo desta investigação é formular princípios e propostas interpretativas a partir de um amplo estudo bibliográfico dos elementos folclóricos e estilísticos da música espanhola. Esta pesquisa se estabelece a partir de uma análise melódico-estrutural da Suíte para Violoncelo Solo, de Gaspar Cassadó, sob a perspectiva do intérprete, uma vez que a obra está baseada em melodias e ritmos nacionais da Espanha, como também em elementos culturais da região da Catalunha. Novos desafios interpretativos são estabelecidos a partir da determinação de características estilísticas da Suíte, considerando a origem do compositor e suas influências composicionais.
