Das Risikomanagement von Energieeffizienzmaßnahmen ist ein bislang noch wenig betrachtetes Forschungsfeld. Daher behandelt dieser Beitrag die Risikobewertung von Energieeffizienzmaßnahmen. Bestehende Methoden zur Risikobewertung basieren unter anderem auf der Fuzzy-Logik. Ihr Vorteil ist die einfache Quantifizierung von qualitativem Expertenwissen für die Analyse der Risikostruktur. Der Beitrag nutzt die Fuzzy-Logik, um eine Methode für die Risikobewertung von Energieeffizienzmaßnahmen unter Einbeziehung von Expertenwissen zu präsentieren und ordnet diese in bestehende Ansätze zur Risikobewertung ein.   The risk management of energy efficiency measures is a research field that has been little considered so far. The article focuses on the risk assessment of energy efficiency measures. Existing methods for risk assessment include approaches based on fuzzy logic. Advantage is the simple inclusion of quantification of qualitative expert knowledge for the analysis of the risk structure. The article uses fuzzy logic to present a method for the risk assessment of energy efficiency measures involving expert knowledge and integrates it into existing risk assessment approaches.

Abstract:
The article discusses the creation of an adaptive system for managing dynamic objects based on neuro-fuzzy technology. This technology is used to actively identify and create temperature control algorithms for the superheated steam of a drum boiler in the presence of disturbances associated with a change in load. To solve this problem, the use of a fuzzy-logical controller is proposed. The rule base of this regulator is defined. A technique is proposed for determining the optimal number of neurons and the number of hidden layers. The neuro-fuzzy model of the controller is presented in the form of a multilayer neural network without feedback, which is characterized by a simple implementation in practice. The use of a fuzzy-logical controller gives the automatic control system the ability to maintain technological parameters at a given level in the presence of external disturbing influences, and also makes it possible to efficiently control the process. ABSTRAK: Artikel ini membincangkan rekaan sistem penyesuaian bagi mengurus objek dinamik berdasarkan teknologi neura-kabur. Teknologi ini digunakan bagi mengenal pasti secara aktif dan mencipta algoritma kawalan suhu bagi stim melampau panas dalam drum dandang dengan kehadiran gangguan berkaitan perubahan beban. Bagi menyelesaikan masalah ini, penggunaan pengawal logik-kabur telah dicadangkan. Asas peraturan bagi pengaturan ini ditentukan. Satu teknik dicadangkan bagi mendapat bilangan optima neuron dan bilangan lapisan tersembunyi. Model neura-kabur pengawal ini dikemukakan dalam bentuk rangkaian neural berlapis tanpa suap balik, bercirikan praktik pelaksanaan mudah. Penggunaan pengawal logik-kabur memberi sistem kawalan automatik kebolehan mengekalkan parameter teknologi pada tahap tertentu dengan kehadiran pengaruh gangguan luar, dan juga memberi kebolehan proses kawalan yang cekap.

Abstract:
The significance of human motion intentions in a designed exoskeleton wrist control hand is essential for stroke survivors, thus making EMG signals an integral part of the overall system is critically important. However, EMG is a nonlinear signal that is easily influenced by several errors from its surroundings and certain of its applications require close monitoring to provide decent outcomes. Hence, this paper proposes to establish the relationship between EMG signals and wrist joint angle to estimate the desired wrist velocity. Fuzzy logic has been selected to form a dynamic modelling of wrist movement for a single muscle at different MVC levels and double muscles at a similar MVC level. The physical model of the exoskeleton hand using Simmechanics Matlab software has been developed to validate the performance of the fuzzy logic output result from both dynamic modelling approaches. A PID controller has been developed to smooth the exoskeleton hand movement fluctuations caused by the fuzzy logic decision-making process. As a conclusion, results showed a strong relationship between EMG signals and wrist joint angle improved the estimation results of desired wrist velocity for both dynamic modelling approaches hence strengthened the prediction process by providing a myoelectronic control device for the exoskeleton hand. ABSTRAK: Kepentingan dalam mengetahui kehendak gerakan pergelangan tangan manusia adalah penting untuk pesakit strok yang terselamat, justeru menjadikan isyarat EMG amat penting pada keseluruhan sistem. Walau bagaimanapun, EMG adalah isyarat tidak linear yang mudah dipengaruhi ralat sekitaran dan memerlukan pemantauan rapi bagi hasil yang baik. Oleh itu, kajian ini mencadangkan kewujudan hubungan antara isyarat EMG dan sudut sendi pergelangan tangan bagi menganggarkan halaju pergelangan tangan yang dikehendaki. Logik kabur (fuzzy logic) telah dipilih bagi membentuk model dinamik pergerakan pergelangan tangan pada otot tunggal di tahap MVC yang berbeza dan otot berganda pada tahap MVC yang serupa. Model fizikal rangka luar tangan menggunakan perisian Matlab Simmekanik telah dibangunkan bagi mengesahkan prestasi Logik Kabur daripada kedua-dua pendekatan model dinamik. Pengawal PID telah dibangunkan bagi melicinkan gerakan turun naik tangan yang disebabkan proses membuat keputusan oleh Logik Kabur. Sebagai kesimpulan, dapatan kajian menunjukkan hubungan yang kukuh antara isyarat EMG dan sudut sendi pergelangan tangan. In recent years, the emergence of various web-based social networks has led to the growth of social network users. These networks have become popular as a medium for disseminating information and communication. Governments and organizations also use social networks as a platform for better services. However, acting in such networks depends on the level of trust that members have with each other. The combination of personality attributes of a person can create a mental impression of the amount of trust that a person has. This amount of trust can affect the person's future interactions. Therefore, trust is an essential and important matter in these networks, especially when someone interacts with someone else on a web-based social network. We discuss this issue in this paper and provide a method for evaluating it. Measuring the accuracy is not easy for the users who are interacting with the social network. Here, the interactions are virtual. In this paper, we have used fuzzy logic to apply ambiguous data and to evaluate trustworthiness by taking into account the various personality attributes of users such as reliability, availability, interest, patience, and adaptability. As we used these attributes as input to the fuzzy system and based on the relevant fuzzy rules, we evaluated the trustworthiness of users in social networks. The proposed fuzzy system is extendable, because in this system, trust can be defined as a set of one or more personality attributes. Epinions social network dataset is also used to simulate and validate the proposed approach. In the proposed method, the MAE value is less than 0.015 and F-Score value more than 0.86. Based on the results, the presented fuzzy system shows an acceptable accuracy for evaluating the trustworthiness of users. ABSTRAK: Sejak beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini, kemunculan pelbagai rangkaian web sosial telah menyebabkan pertumbuhan pengguna rangkaian sosial. Rangkaian ini telah menjadi popular sebagai medium penularan informasi dan komunikasi. Kerajaan dan organisasi juga menggunakan rangkaian sosial sebagai platfom bagi menyediakan servis perkhidmatan terbaik. Namun, pemakaian rangkaian ini bergantung kepada kepercayaan pengguna antara sesama pengguna. Gabungan ciri-ciri personaliti terhadap seseorang menyebabkan terciptanya persepsi secara mental pada kepercayaan ke atas seseorang. Jumlah kepercayaan ini akan memberi kesan terhadap interaksi yang akan berlaku pada masa depan ke atas individu tersebut. Oleh itu, kepercayaan sangat penting dalam rangkaian ini, terutama apabila seseorang berinteraksi dengan mereka di jaringan sosial web. Isu ini dibincangkan dalam kajian ini dan kaedah evaluasi turut dihuraikan. Mengukur ketepatan pengguna dalam jaringan sosial tidak mudah. Di sini, interaksi berlaku secara maya. Kajian ini menggunakan logik kabur pada data tidak jelas dan bagi mengukur tahap kepercayaan, pelbagai ciri personaliti individu diukur, seperti kebolehpercayaan, kebolehdapatan, minat, kesabaran dan kebolehsesuian. Ciri-ciri tersebut digunakan sebagai input kepada sistem rawak dan berdasarkan peraturan rawak, tahap kebolehpercayaan pengguna diukur dalam rangkaian sosial. Sistem rawak yang dicadangkan ini boleh dilanjutkan, kerana dalam sistem ini kepercayaan boleh dimaksudkan sebagai satu set atau lebih ciri-ciri personaliti. Anggapan pada set data rangkaian sosial turut digunakan bagi simulasi dan pengesahan kaedah yang dicadangkan. Bagi kaedah yang dicadangkan ini, nilai MAE adalah kurang daripada 0.015 dan nilai skor-F lebih daripada 0.86. Berdasarkan dapatan kajian ini, sistem rawak yang dikaji ini menunjukkan ketepatan yang boleh diterima bagi mengukur tahap kebolehpercayaan pengguna.

Abstract:
Image retrieval is an important system for retrieving similar images by searching and browsing in a large database. The image retrieval system can be a reliable tool for people to optimize the use of image accumulation, and finding efficient methods to retrieve images is very important. Recent decades have marked increased research interest in field image retrieval. To retrieve the images, an important set of features is used. In this work, a combination of methods was used to examine all the images and detect images in a database according to a query image. Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) was used for feature extraction of the images into the dataset. The images in the database were processed by extracting their important and robust features and storing them in the feature store. Likewise, the strong features were extracted for specific query images. By using some Meta Heuristic algorithms such as Cuckoo Search (CS), Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), and using an artificial neural network such as single-layer Perceptron Neural Network (PNN), similarity was evaluated. It also proposed a new two method by hybridized PNN and CS with fuzzy logic to produce a new method called Fuzzy Single Layer Perceptron Neural Network (FPNN), and Fuzzy Cuckoo Search to examine the similarity between features for query images and features for images in the database. The efficiency of the system methods was evaluated by calculating the precision recall value of the results. The proposed method of FCS outperformed other methods such as (PNN), (ACO), (CS), and (FPNN) in terms of precision and image recall. ABSTRAK: Imej dapatan semula adalah sistem penting bagi mendapatkan imej serupa melalui carian imej dan melayari pangkalan besar data. Sistem dapatan semula imej ini boleh dijadikan alat boleh percaya untuk orang mengoptimum penggunaan pengumpulan imej, dan kaedah pencarian yang berkesan bagi mendapatkan imej adalah sangat penting. Beberapa dekad yang lalu telah menunjukan banyak penyelidikan dalam bidang imej dapatan semula. Bagi mendapatkan imej-imej ini, ciri-ciri set penting telah digunakan. Kajian ini menggunakan beberapa kaedah bagi memeriksa semua imej dan mengesan imej dalam pangkalan data berdasarkan imej carian. Kami menggunakan Analisis Diskriminan Linear (LDA) bagi mengekstrak ciri imej ke dalam set data. Imej-imej dalam pangkalan data diproses dengan mengekstrak ciri-ciri penting dan berkesan daripadanya dan menyimpannya dalam simpanan ciri. Begitu juga, ciri-ciri penting ini diekstrak bagi imej carian tertentu. Persamaan dinilai melalui beberapa algoritma Meta Heuristik seperti Carian Cuckoo (CS), Pengoptimuman Koloni Semut (ACO), dan menggunakan lapisan tunggal rangkaian neural buatan seperti Rangkaian Neural Perseptron (PNN). Dua cadangan baru dengan kombinasi hibrid PNN dan CS bersama logik kabur bagi menghasilkan kaedah baru yang disebut Lapisan Tunggal Kabur Rangkaian Neural Perceptron (FPNN), dan Carian Cuckoo Kabur bagi mengkaji persamaan antara ciri carian imej dan imej pangkalan data. Nilai kecekapan kaedah sistem dinilai dengan mengira ketepatan mengingat pada dapatan hasil. Kaedah FCS yang dicadangkan ini mengatasi kaedah lain seperti (PNN), (ACO), (CS) dan (FPNN) dari segi ketepatan dan ingatan imej.

Abstract:
Due to the nonlinear property of the PV panels, there are a few significant restrictions and limitations in the PV solar system. The PV panels always have to depend on environmental conditions such as temperature and solar radiation to generate efficient power. This paper proposed an optimum control system that can handle the uncertainties and nonlinearities of any system by using the Fuzzy Logic Control system (FLC). The proposed system utilized an FLC system for a DC-DC boost converter, tracking the PV panel’s maximum power point (MPPT). A PI control system is also used to maintain the continuous power supply for an optimum battery charging system for the DC-DC Buck converter. The goal is to provide constant voltage and appropriate current for charging the battery. It will increase the system efficiency and reduce the losses. It would also increase the battery life cycle and help the battery to charge fast. There are several MPPT methods found in the literature. The FLC can make a precise decision by considering the environmental state of the system. It can get a response to nonlinear environmental conditions instantly. The proposed system yielded an expected accuracy of 92% to 96%, with a system efficiency of 76% to 83%. Besides, it does not require any knowledge about the system since it is a rule-based system. The entire system has been designed in MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results have been analyzed under 9 environmental states in a 1.0 s period. ABSTRAK: Berdasarkan struktur tak linear panel PV, terdapat beberapa faktor kekangan yang jelas dan had tertentu dalam sistem solar PV. Panel PV selalunya sering bergantung kepada kondisi persekitaran seperti suhu dan radiasi solar bagi menghasilkan tenaga optimum. Kajian ini mencadangkan sistem kawalan optimum yang dapat mengawal ketidaktentuan dan ketidak linearan apa-apa sistem menggunakan sistem Kawalan Logik Fuzi (FLC). Sistem yang dicadangkan ini menggunakan sistem FLC bagi penukaran penggalak DC-DC, mengesan titik tenaga maksimum panel PV (MPPT). Sistem Kawalan PI turut digunakan bagi menyediakan bekalan tenaga berterusan untuk sistem pengecas bateri optimum melalui penukaran Balik DC-DC. Matlamat adalah bagi menghasilkan voltan berterusan & arus mencukupi bagi mengecas bateri. Ia dapat meningkatkan kecekapan sistem dan mengurangkan pembaziran tenaga. Ia juga dapat meningkatkan kitaran hayat bateri dan membantu bateri mengecas dengan cepat. Terdapat beberapa kaedah MPPT dijumpai dalam kajian terdahulu. FLC dapat menghasilkan keputusan tepat dengan mengambil kira keadaan persekitaran pada sistem tersebut. Ia dapat memberi respon kepada keadaan persekitaran tak linear dengan serta merta. Sistem yang dicadangkan menghasilkan ketepatan yang dijangkakan sebanyak 92% hingga 96%, dengan kecekapan sistem sebanyak 76% hingga 83%. Selain itu, ia tidak memerlukan apa-apa pengetahuan tentang sistem tersebut kerana sistem ini berdasarkan aturan. Keseluruhan sistem dibangunkan menggunakan MATLAB/Simulink. Dapatan simulasi dikaji menggunakan 9 tahap persekitaran dalam tempoh 1.0 s.

Customer satisfaction is an important issue in various sectors including in educational institutions. The needs and requirements of students and lecturers as customers of an institution must be met by the management to ensure quality services are offered. The performance of an organization is measured by customer satisfaction with their needs. Customer satisfaction issues do not only occur in Malaysia but also abroad. Complaints and grievances about the facilities and services provided were the cause of this study. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of students and lecturers on the services and facilities provided at IPG Kampus Dato’ Razali Ismail. The respondents of the study consisted of students and lecturers selected by stratified random sampling. Data were collected based on a questionnaire distributed online and involved seven dimensions. Descriptive analysis was performed using SPSS 26 for windows and then fuzzy logic analysis using Matlab R2020b for windows. Fuzzy logic uses linguistic variables given degrees of membership. A fuzzy inference system using the Fuzzy Mamdani model was used to process the data. Hence, to get the output there are four levels that need to be done namely blurring, ordering, inference and defuzzification. The findings of this study enable management to maintain existing performance and make continuous improvements over time to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract:
Bacterial cellulose (BC) is a unique biopolymer with high mechanical strength, crystallinity, purity and biocompatibility which make it suitable in various fields. An economical and high quantity production in industrial scale has become a concern in BC production. This study emphasizes on the usage of matured coconut water, an agro waste as the fermentation medium of bacterial cellulose synthesis by Acetobacter xylinum 0416. A central composite design was employed to predict the optimum production of BC based on a combination of three parameters that are initial pH, temperature and inoculum size. To stimulate and improve the performance in fermentation, a fuzzy logic system was designed. The controlled variables are pH and temperature whereas flowrate of cooling water and acid or alkaline flowrate are the manipulated variables respectively. The temperature of 32˚C, pH 4.5 and 15% of inoculum size were found as the optimum condition to achieve a maximum dry weight of BC in this fermentation. The optimal value of pH is the set point for pH (4.5) and temperature (32˚C). For the size of inoculum, it is considered constant for the control method of fuzzy logic. The results show that control and monitoring of pH and temperature reached set point as well as ability to maintain the set point after the introduction of disturbance for pH from 4.5 to 4.3 and temperature from the 32˚C to 30˚C. This shows the effectiveness of the control system by using fuzzy logic.

Abstract:
This research was conducted to investigate the suitability of using two models; namely the artificial neural network (ANN) and adaptive system network model Neuro-Fuzzy (ANFIS) methods to predict the flexible pavement layer moduli. The falling weight deflectometer (FWD) data obtained from the Butterworth–Kulim Expressway (BKE) in year 2011 were used to test the models. The ANN and ANFIS models have been trained and tested continuously using different parameters until the optimum output is obtained. Thereafter, a validation process has been carried out to test the ability of whole models by calculating the coefficient of determination (R2), the mean absolute error (MAE), the mean squared error (MSE) and root mean squared error (RMSE). A total of 270 data sets have been used to develop the models. Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that both models are able to predict well the flexible pavement layer moduli(R2 > 0.90). However, a further comparison suggested that the ANFIS model yield a higher precision compared to the ANN model, with lower MAE, MSE and RMSE values. Therefore, it can be inferred that the neural network models have an excellent potential to replace the existing analytical and empirical models in predicting the flexible pavement layer moduli.

Reka bentuk SIFLC menawarkan pengurangan yang signifikan dalam peraturan yang digunakan serta memudahkan proses mengawal parameter kawalan. Untuk mengesahkan keberkesanannya, kaedah pendekatan ini disimulasikan dengan anggaran model matematik bagi sistem VVS–400. Anggaran model matematik ini boleh di terbitkan menggunakan perisian pengenalpastian sistem di dalam Matlab. SIFLC telah memberikan beberapa kebaikan dan pembaikan prestasi jika dibandingkan dengan pengawal logik kabur (CFLC) kerana memerlukan peraturan yang mudah serta usaha yang sangat minimum ketika mengawal parameter kawalan. Ini dapat memendekkan masa pengkomputeran untuk menyelesaikan algoritma pengawal. Dalam simulasi, persamaan SIFLC dan CFLC dapat di lihat pada keluaran sistem. Kedua–duanya menghasilkan keluaran yang hampir sama. Namun, kebaikan SIFLC jelas membuktikan keluaran yang sama dapat dihasilkan dengan sedikit pengubahsuaian dari CFLC. Kata kunci: Pengawal logik kabur; VVS–400; kaedah jarak bertanda; pengawal masukan tunggal logik kabur; ARX In this paper, a Single–input fuzzy logic controller (SIFLC) is designed and applied on a nonlinear heating and ventilation plant VVS-400 developed from Instrutek, Larvik, Norway. VVS–400 is modeled using Auto–regressive with exogenous input (ARX) model structure and linear black–box technique. The proposed SIFLC offers significant reduction in rule inferences and simplify the tuning of control parameters. To verify its effectiveness, this control method is simulated with an approximated VVS–400 model. An approximated VVS–400 model is obtained using System Identification toolbox in Matlab. The SIFLC provides several advantages over conventional fuzzy logic controller (CFLC) due to its simple inference rule mechanism, require very minimum tuning effort and minimizing the computational time to accomplish the controller algorithm. Simulations validate the equivalency of both controllers. Results reveal that SIFLC and CFLC have almost similar output performance. Sistem bola dan pengimbang adalah satu contoh sistem tak linear serta tidak stabil. Ia terdiri daripada kayu pengimbang yang bebas berputar pada paksi, dengan sebiji bola bergerak di sepanjang batang pengimbang. Objektif sistem kawalan ialah untuk meletakkan bola pada kedudukan tertentu di atas batang pengimbang dengan mengawal voltan motor sebagai input kepada sistem. Artikel ini mengkaji pengawal P dan pengawal PD sebagai kawalan konvensional, perletakan kutub sebagai kawalan moden, dan logik kabur sebagai kawalan pintar. Permodelan matematik untuk sistem bola dan pengimbang dihuraikan yang melibatkan proses penglinearan model agar dapat digunakan dengan pengawal linear. Kemudian, semua pengawal tadi direka bentuk dan disimulasikan dengan menggunakan program MATLAB. Kecekapan setiap pengawal dianalisis berdasarkan beberapa ciri sambutan langkah. Pengantaramuka Pengguna Bergrafik (GUI) yang sesuai telah dibangunkan bagi memberi gambaran animasi untuk sistem bola dan pengimbang. Kata kunci: Sistem bola dan pengimbang; permodelan; pengawal PD; perletakan kutub; logik kabur This paper presents several control approaches that consist of a conventional controller, modern controller and intelligent controller and the performance of those controllers that were employed in a ball and beam system. The ball and beam system is one of the examples of a nonlinear and unstable control system. It consists of rigid beam which is free to rotate in the vertical plane at the pivot, with a solid ball rolling along the beam. The control problem is to position the ball at a desired point on the beam by controlling the motor voltage as the input of the system. Scope of investigation is on proportional (P) and proportional–derivative (PD) as the conventional controller, pole placement for the modern controller, and fuzzy logic for the intelligent controller. The mathematical modeling is linearised in order to be used with the linear control and followed by designing the entire system and simulation in MATLAB. Each controller performance is analyzed and compared using the step response. An appropriate graphic user interface (GUI) has been developed to view the animation of the ball and beam system. ABSTRACT: The capability of navigating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) safely in unknown terrain offers huge potential for wider applications in non-segregated airspace. Flying in non-segregated airspace present a risk of collision with static obstacles (e.g., towers, power lines) and moving obstacles (e.g., aircraft, balloons). In this work, we propose a heuristic cascading fuzzy logic control strategy to solve for the Conflict Detection and Resolution (CD&R) problem, in which the control strategy is comprised of two cascading modules. The first one is Obstacle Avoidance control and the latter is Path Tracking control. Simulation results show that the proposed architecture effectively resolves the conflicts and achieve rapid movement towards the target waypoint.ABSTRAK: Keupayaan mengemudi Kenderaan Udara Tanpa Pemandu (UAV) dengan selamat di kawasan yang tidak diketahui menawarkan potensi yang besar untuk aplikasi yang lebih luas dalam ruang udara yang tidak terasing. Biasanya penilaian kerokan pada jambatan adalah berdasarkan prosedur subjektif yang mana kosnya adalah mahal, pengambilan masa, ketidakpastian dan mempunyai bias oleh seseorang individu. Oleh itu, tujuan penyelidikan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan teknik logik kabur dalam menilai sifat-sifat aliran sungai pada hulu jambatan (keadalaman aliran (Y1); kadaralir (Q1); kelajuan (V1); dan luas aliran (A1)), yang mana menyebabkan kerokan pada penapak tiang jambatan. Dalam mencapai objektif kajian ini, satu contoh masalah telah diperkenalkan untuk menggambarkan penggunaan metodologi terhadap hipotesis model jambatan yang merentangi Sungai Cherul di Ban Ho, Terengganu, Malaysia. The assessment of a bridge scour is normally based on subjective procedures that are costly, time consuming, uncertain and has a personal bias. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to propose the fuzzy logic technique in assessing the river flow characteristics at the upstream of the bridge (flow depth (Y1); discharge (Q1); velocity (V1); and flow area (A1)), which are resulted scouring at the pier foundation. In order to achieve the objective of this research, an example problem is presented to illustrate the use of the proposed methodology on a hypothetical bridge model across Cherul River at Ban Ho, Terengganu, Malaysia. From the research, the severity of scour condition at the pier foundation can be determined and this information will be useful for a bridge engineer to provide the relevant countermeasure or prevention method.
