Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to develop a model for the formation of professional reflection of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy and to study the impact of its implementation in the process of professional training. Based on the theoretical analysis of the scientific literature, we have developed a model for the formation of professional reflection of future specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy. The model developed is based on a reflexive approach, which assumes that a person has the capacity to take an active research position in relation to his activity and to himself as his subject, in order to critically analyze, understand and evaluate its effectiveness for its development. The approach to reflective activity allows us to consider reflection as a mechanism for the development and implementation of activity, in turn, activity is the object of reflection. The essence of this approach is most consistent with the understanding of the professional reflection of specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy as an integral part of professional activity, which led to the development of a program of work with students on its basis. Psychological methods, a specially designed questionnaire and an expert evaluation method were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the model. Formation of professional reflection of future specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy is presented in the form of three successive interrelated stages. The components of professional reflection of specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy are covered. We used the methods of diagnostics of reflexivity and examination twice, before the beginning of the experimental work and after its completion. The analysis of the experimental work showed that the students of the experimental group significantly increased the level of formation of each of the components of professional reflection of specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy. The results of the study make it possible to outline a number of unresolved problems, the development of which is dictated by the needs of the theory and practice of the entire education system. According to the results of the study, the introduction of the developed model in the process of professional training of future specialists in physical therapy and ergotherapy will contribute to the formation of professional reflection.

The experience of foreign scientists on the need to master knowledge of medical genetics for the professional competence of physical therapists is considered. The features of teaching the selective educational component "Medical genetics" for applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 22 "Health" specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy" are presented. Today, it is relevant to improve the quality of professional training of future specialists in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, in accordance with world and European standards in order to enhance the competitiveness of domestic education, optimize conditions for international student mobility and expand the capabilities of Ukrainian specialists in the domestic and international labor markets. According to the position of modern medicine, any human pathology is often associated with heredity. Since heredity and variability are integral parts of life, medical genetics should be included in the theoretical and practical training of specialists in physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The need for genetic knowledge for specialists in physiotherapy, occupational therapy is also determined by the constant increase in the proportion of hereditary pathology in the structure of morbidity, mortality and disability of the population. We believe that physical therapists need to be prepared for new developments in healthcare, including personalized rehabilitation. The physical therapist profession must embrace medical genetics in order to fulfill its operational role and help shape the future of personalized healthcare delivery. Competence in medical genetics provides additional opportunities for working with peers to integrate such information into a healthcare perspective. By developing and demonstrating this competence, physical therapists continue to enjoy a position of respect among the general health community. We consider it important to include in the training program for applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education the area of knowledge 22 "Health", specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy" of an educational component such as "Medical genetics". In this way, the physical therapy profession can collaborate with other medical professions to further strengthen and define its role in patient-centered health care.

Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to study the scientific patterns of application in the process of forming the professional identity of specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy synergistic approach. The synergistic approach in the systemic approach introduces new aspects to the methodology of forming the professional identity of specialists in physical therapy, ergotherapy: first, the idea of openness of the educational process, which focuses on the construction of methods of joint activity, and the emphasis on the individual for each student; second, the perception of the instability of the educational process, which focuses on the small "resonance", providing a stimulating effect; third, the focus on self-study through mastering the "universal" method of cognition, which provides knowledge of the general laws of self-organization; fourth, attention to the profound changes in personality that occur in the learning process, that is, to the process of formation of tumors; Fifth, the activation of a visual, empirical perception of the world as a source of intuitive knowledge that enriches a person's creative beginnings; sixth, the use of the potential of interactive methods that activate processes of social interaction in the student community, in turn, accelerate the transition to self-study. The principles of synergetics justify the use of the potential of interactive methods that activate the processes of social interaction in the student team and facilitate the transition to self-study. According to the results of the research, it can be argued that the use of synergistic approach in the process of forming the professional identity of physical therapy specialists, ergotherapy will ensure their susceptibility to innovations, providing opportunities for active purposeful and free use of information, actualization of internal forces and motives aimed at personal development.

Abstract:
The professional identity formation of prospective physical and occupational therapists in the clinical practices process has been studied. The presence of the formed professional identity provides their orientation in the professional field and professional community that allows to realize more fully personal potential in a multidisciplinary team, to predict possible consequences of professional choice and to define own professional development prospects. There are three main stages in the formation of professional identity of the prospective physical therapy and occupational therapy specialists: an initial choice; a confirmation or refutation of the initial choice; an implementation of the initial choice in the activity. The dynamics of professional identity formation during the whole period of their professional training in a higher education institution has been determined. The peculiarities of early students` professionalization in the process of clinical practice have been revealed in a passive form, later - at the stage of active practice. Among the principles of professional identification development of future masters in physical and occupational therapy in the process of clinical practices, the principle of reflectivity and the principle of a value attitude forming to professional activity have been singled out. The clinical practice, taking place in medical and rehabilitation institutions, involving participation in the rehabilitation diagnosis establishment and in the rehabilitation program has been defined. Formation, development, a moral and psychological qualities complex, as an integral part of professional training of physical and occupational therapy specialists for their future professional activity; ensuring the growth of students` professional competence level; promoting self-identification and choosing the future professional activity direction are the main tasks of the research. The professional identification and personal identity formation of the prospective physical and occupational therapist is the unity of three processes: student`s self-acceptance as a prospective physical and occupational therapist; comparison with the professional ideal, norm and sample of a physical therapist; recognition by the external environment of the prospective specialist's affiliation to the professional group of practicing physical and occupational therapists. Throughout life professional identity is a product of continuous personal and professional development of the physical and occupational therapist.

Abstract:
Introduction. Training future specialists in information technology to work in a team has a great potential both for solving educational problems in the higher education and for further development of graduates as professionals in the labour market. The efficiency of the teamwork is largely determined by the effectiveness of the distribution of roles in the team. The distribution of roles depends on the individual cognitive characteristics of each team member. Individual enlightening characteristics of the ways of perception and processing of information, the choice of ways to solve problems are associated with the cognitive style of the individual.Aim. The present research aims to analyse the nature of the influence of the cognitive style of the personality of each member of the team on the results of solving a practice-oriented task in the field of information and communication technologies.Methodology and research methods. The work used a systematic approach (N. A. Astashova, S. L. Melnikova, A. P. Tonkikh, L. N. Shilenkova, A. Burger, L. Naude, F. D. Fernandez, J. L. Arco-Tirado, M. Hervas-Torres); practice-oriented approach (E. F. Fefilova, D. Bednarek, M. Krulis, J. Yaghob); project approach (L. I. Savva, E. A. Gasanenko, K. E. Shakhmaeva); cognitive approach (J. B. Watson, G. A. Kimble, J. Anderson, B. M. Velichkovsky, J. Kelly, J. Bruner, J. J. Goodnow, G. A. Austin, M. A. Kholodnaya), in the frames of which general scientific and statistical methods were used. The works by M. A. Kholodnaya, J. Parker, J. D. Bain, H. A. Witkin, S. A. Moore, D. R. Goodenough, P. W. Cox constituted the theoretical and methodological basis of the study, on the basis of which the characteristics of students with different cognitive styles were studied. The analysis of the dependence of the success rate of solving practice-oriented tasks by a team of students on the cognitive style of each member of this team was carried out. The success rate was calculated as the sum of the normalised values for each type of work. 250 undergraduate students of Nizhny Tagil State Socio-Pedagogical Institute (branch) of Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University and Nizhny Tagil Institute of Technology (branch) of Ural Federal University took part in the study. The used research methods: questionnaires, testing, the method of expert assessments, ranking, scaling, rationing, content analysis of documents, methods of mathematical statistics in data processing, methods of analysis, synthesis, generalisation, comparison, abstraction when interpreting research results. The “Included Figures” test was used to determine the field dependence / field independence of the subjects. The main statistical calculations were performed using the nonparametric statistical method “Mann-Whitney U-test”. To confirm the reliable difference in the proportion of teams that successfully coped with the task, the Fisher criterion was applied. The data sources are open source databases (websites of international and Russian government bodies), regulatory documents regulating the basics of training IT specialists, research by leading scientists in the field of cognitive personality style, statistical information.Results. The authors developed the criteria to evaluate the results of solving a practiceoriented task by a team of future IT specialists and defined the concept of a success indicator. The authors demonstrated the importance of taking into account cognitive personality styles when forming a team of IT specialists. The dependence of the success rate of solving a practice-oriented task on the type of cognitive style of the participants of the task was revealed. It is established that the highest results of the success rate in solving a practice-oriented task were noted in those teams that included students with different cognitive personality styles of field dependence / field independence, with a predominant number of participants with a field-independent personality style. The findings indicate the need to take into account the cognitive styles of individuals when forming the composition of teams for IT projects.Scientific novelty. The results of the study expand the scientific facts that cognitive styles are predictors of students’ achievements in solving practical tasks in teamwork.Practical significance. The data obtained can be used to develop a strategy for training future IT specialists aimed at improving the effectiveness of teamwork in higher education institutions. The proposed calculations of the success rate of solving practice-oriented tasks can be employed to evaluate the results of educational practices and final qualifying works.

Abstract:
Abstract Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is a life-long neurocutaneous disorder characterized by a predisposition to tumor development, including cutaneous neurofibroma (cNF), the hallmark of the disease. cNF is a histologically benign, multicellular tumor formed in virtually most individuals with NF1. It is considered the most burdensome feature of the disorder due to their physical discomfort, cosmetically disfiguring appearance, and psychosocial burden. Management of cNF remains a challenge in the medical field. Effective medicinal treatment for cNF does not exist at this time. Trials aimed at targeting individual components of the neoplasm such as mast cells with Ketotifen have not shown much success. Physical removal or destruction has been the mainstay of therapy. Surgical removal gives excellent cosmetic results, but risk in general anesthesia may require trained specialists. Destructive laser such as CO2 laser is effective in treating hundreds of tumors at one time but has high risk of scarring hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation that alter cosmetic outcomes. A robust, low-risk surgical technique has been developed, which may be performed in clinic using traditional biopsy tools that may be more accessible to NF1 patients worldwide than contemporary techniques including Er:YAG or Nd:YAG laser. In this review, specific recommendations for management of cNFs are made based on symptoms, clinical expertise, and available resources. Additionally, antiproliferative agents aimed at stimulating cellular quiescence are explored.

Development of intergovernmental policy on health tourism is cross-industrial, with medical services acting as a promoting factor. Health tourism ideology is based on interconnection between the natural environment, transport availability, healthcare system and people. During health tourism travels people get in close contact with the environment in order to feel physical and psychological comfort without direct medical treatment. Health tourism is supposed to become the basis for alternative therapy and remain progressive. Meanwhile, dominating cultural aspects must provide competitive advantages related to non-clinical factors. Satisfactory health tourism can be achieved only with the help of a team of specialists having certain experience in both clinical and non-clinical healthcare.

Abstract:
Evidence-based research on pain management techniques, exercise, and aquatic therapy programs provides guidance for recreation therapists working with patients with orthopedic impairments such as osteoarthritis (OA) and total knee replacements (TKRs). However, substantiated recommendations for specific physical activities to be used with this population are not available. This leaves recreation therapy (RT) practitioners with inadequate direction on the appropriate activities to prescribe to their patients. This research note is an abbreviation of a larger study (J.L.P. et al., unpublished data, 2014) and examines the knee joint kinematics and kinetics in healthy older adults during golf and bowling with comparisons made between those experienced during walking and stair ascent and descent. Understanding the knee biomechanics in a healthy population is an important first step in gathering scientific evidence needed to advance our field. Future research examining knee biomechanics related to various recreation activities will be instrumental in allowing RT specialists to develop practice guidelines for men and women with OA and TKR in the future.

Abstract:
Introduction. The emergence of social, political and economic processes in the modern world leads to the development of innovative educational technologies, among which the researchers’ attention is drawn to a professional brand-building foresight technology. The professional brand-building foresight technology is a system of principles, methods and techniques for expert analysis of current achievements of students, young professionals and anyone who seeks self-improvement. Moreover, this training technology includes the development of programmes to optimise the professional and personal self-development of an individual in terms of his/her possible career growth. The aim of the current research was to justify the professional brand-building foresight technology developed by the authors, and to check the effectiveness of its application in the formation of brand-building and foresight competencies in a future specialist in the educational process of higher education.Methodology and research methods. The theoretical and methodological strategy in the study is a competency-based approach, which contributes to the formation of brand-building and foresight competencies. The conceptual provisions of the foresight approach, implemented in a complex of brand-forming tools of a single foresight trajectory in order to model and design a professional brand in relation to the strategic goals of a future specialist, became a practice-oriented research tactic. The authors used the following general scientific and specific scientific methods: questionnaire survey based on random systematic (mechanical) sampling, in-depth interview, expert survey, document analysis, self-assessment of readiness for personal brand-building.Results. The authors presented the professional brand-building foresight technology, the essence of which lies in the design of a professional brand and future career path. Its structure includes four programmes: self-marketing, personal branding, brand-building case and a road map to success. As a result of training, brand-building and foresight competencies are developed. The approbation experiment demonstrated that without special brand-building and foresight training of students, these competencies are formed spontaneously. Based on the results of the conducted surveys, the authors analysed the level of formation of brand-building and foresight competencies and the interest in the technology of personal brand-building as a factor of career self-development. A survey of university graduates revealed the dependence of employment on special teaching methods and the professional brand-building foresight technology. The interviews held with Russian and Latvian teachers determined the effectiveness of this technology. The study of the employers’ opinions showed the reasons that hinder the successful employment of young specialists. In addition, the authors revealed a lack of knowledge and a non-systematic limited nature of teaching these competencies in universities.Scientific novelty lies in the replenishment of interdisciplinary (at the intersection of pedagogy, brand building, forecasting, professional studies) scientific knowledge about foresight methodology. The emphasis is on the innovativeness of the professional brand-building foresight technology, which contributes to the competitiveness of university graduates and increases their chances of professional success.Practical significance. The results of the research can be useful for developing ideas about brand-building and foresight competencies development, personal brand-building, professional brand-building foresighting. The research materials can be employed by students and teachers of higher education institutions, heads of educational systems in the organisation of the educational process, as well as by various specialists and practitioners.

Abstract:
Achieving functional restoration of diseased or injured tissues is the ultimate goal of both regenerative medicine approaches and physical therapy interventions. Proper integration and healing of the surrogate cells, tissues, or organs introduced using regenerative medicine techniques are often dependent on the co-introduction of therapeutic physical stimuli. Thus, regenerative rehabilitation represents a collaborative approach whereby rehabilitation specialists, basic scientists, physicians, and surgeons work closely to enhance tissue restoration by creating tailored rehabilitation treatments. One of the primary treatment regimens that physical therapists use to promote tissue healing is the introduction of mechanical forces, or mechanotherapies. These mechanotherapies in regenerative rehabilitation activate specific biological responses in musculoskeletal tissues to enhance the integration, healing, and restorative capacity of implanted cells, tissues, or synthetic scaffolds. To become future leaders in the field of regenerative rehabilitation, physical therapists must understand the principles of mechanobiology and how mechanotherapies augment tissue responses. This perspective article provides an overview of mechanotherapy and discusses how mechanical signals are transmitted at the tissue, cellular, and molecular levels. The synergistic effects of physical interventions and pharmacological agents also are discussed. The goals are to highlight the critical importance of mechanical signals on biological tissue healing and to emphasize the need for collaboration within the field of regenerative rehabilitation. As this field continues to emerge, physical therapists are poised to provide a critical contribution by integrating mechanotherapies with regenerative medicine to restore musculoskeletal function.

Abstract:
Competence approach in the training of future occupational therapists makes it possible to determine the degree of readiness of students for purposeful professional activity. Assessment of the acquisition of competencies by university students remains a serious problem that requires discussion after the application of various assessment methods in the educational process. The purpose coverage of the component of professional competencies and criteria for their evaluation in the teaching of occupational therapy based on the French experience. Material and methods. In this paper we studied professional competencies of a French occupational therapist to obtain a state diploma "Occupational Therapist". We used the following methods: analysis, generalization and systematization of information of scientific and methodical literature. Results and discussion. Training in occupational therapy is carried out at the departments of physical therapy in the specialty 227 – "Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy", which provides two specializations: 227.1 – "Physical Therapy" and 227.2 – "Occupational Therapy". Thus, the component of professional competence is a structural component of the educational program for the training of competent professionals who are able to use the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in practice. In 2019, the Commission of Specialists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine developed a draft educational and professional training program for occupational therapists. In this project, professional competencies are divided into 5 professional competencies of the specialty and 14 professional competencies of the specialization. In order to receive a state diploma in occupational therapy, the Decree of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of France prescribes ten professional competencies that must be mastered by a future specialist. At the same time, this document contains criteria for assessing the student's acquisition of these competencies. This Decree contains the following criteria for assessing professional competencies: “What allows us to say that the skill has been mastered? What exactly do we want to check? What visible signs of a student's acquisition of competence can be observed? What are the signs of good results?” Conclusion. Professional competencies and criteria for their evaluation, which form the basis of training occupational therapists in France, can be considered a complex multidimensional education, which was formed in the process of acquiring professional education and is a powerful motivating factor for training competitive professionals, which direct the perception of goals, values, content, results and features of this activity. This experience of the French school can be useful for the preparation of educational and professional, syllabus and work programs in occupational therapy

Abstract:
Introduction. The modern, rapidly changing world needs specialists with creative thinking skills, who are able to show rapidity, flexibility and originality in solving complex and extraordinary problems. When a specialist finds himself in such a situation where he faces extraordinary problems, he does not know how to solve them and is at a loss. It is impossible to acquire creative thinking skills without preparation. Therefore, a student, a future specialist, must be taught these skills. However, the difficulty lies in the fact that without developing students' skills such as analysis, synthesis, abstract, associative and combinatorial thinking, selective comparison, generalisation of information, system vision, assessment of ideas, the ability to ask right questions, to visualise and to draw conclusions, it will be difficult to further develop creative thinking in students.Aim. The aim of the study is to discover the relationship between various types of thinking and creative thinking, to determine the types of thought operations and the list of prerequisites that precede creative thinking, which will contribute to the formation of creative thinking in students.Methodology and research methods. General logical reasoning methods and some scientific research methods were applied. The phenomenological method was employed to understand the process of creative thinking. Based on the determination of the main parameters and properties of each type of thinking, it became possible to model the process of creative thinking activity, to investigate this mental process and draw certain conclusions. The use of the explanatory method also makes it possible to substantiate the need for the following prerequisites for the formation of creative thinking. Results and scientific novelty. Based on the analysis, it was discovered that various types of thinking are related to creative thinking, the types of thought operations were determined and a list of prerequisites was proposed. The list of prerequisites includes the following types of thinking: positive, synergetic, associative, abstract, visual, algorithmic, divergent, lateral, Janusian, questioning style, combinatorial, intuitive, systemic, and critical. The research results show the importance and necessity of prerequisites for creative thinking and also determine the trajectory of creative thinking activity.Practical significance. The research results can be useful for teachers of higher educational institutions with the aim of applying them in the learning process.

Abstract:
Children need the supervision of adults and also specialist facilitation, which is entirely different from those of adults. The child-centered health care approaches and their delivery modes are continuously in a changing phase. Health services provided to the children are remodeled according to their present and future needs. Pediatric physiotherapy is one of the developed domains of physiotherapy. Pediatric physiotherapists are specialists who work with individuals from being premature to adolescents, targeting the main goal of optimal physical development. They work with a holistic approach making certain that along with the highlighted health needs, the social, emotional and educational factors are also taken into consideration1. So, overall the role of a pediatric physiotherapist is not only to deliver the intervention but also to work as a consultant, trainer and educationist. Physiotherapy plays a vital role in guiding coordinated movements, posture education, specific therapeutic exercises and cardiorespiratory fitness by involving family and caregivers. Therapists can provide health care services in the hospital setting (out-patient or in-hospital clinics), community settings such as child development centers, in mainstream schools and in special schools. Abstract:
Blended learning usually refers to the combination of online/offline instructional methods. In this paper, we describe a university course in “E-learning Psychology” designed to blend not only modes of teaching, tools, and media, but also learning contexts; specifically, academic and professional contexts. To achieve an effective blend of learning contexts, students were monitored by academic and company tutors through an instant messaging app (WhatsApp). The unique contribution of the company tutor to the blending of academic and professional contexts is explored. By qualitatively analyzing (i) process data (four WhatsApp log chats) and (ii) self-report data (interviews with six company tutors), we found that the company tutor contributed to both the traditional blended dimension (mixing online and offline) and to the blend of the academic and professional contexts. When company tutors participated in the chat, students moved from an organizational dynamic, featuring chats monitored by only the academic tutor, toward a more collaborative and reflective dynamic. The company tutors considered the opportunity to blend academic and professional contexts as the best aspect of the course for both themselves as educators/company representatives, and for the students. This paper offers insights into the ongoing discussion about what blended is—or should be—and the role of company tutors in blending educational contexts.
