Abstract:

Aiming at the high cost of multicategory orders fulfillment under multiwarehouse collaborative distribution, comprehensively considering the fulfillment costs of different orders fulfillment strategies, an order fulfillment strategy selection model is proposed. The first step of the model uses the linear programming algorithm to solve the cost of suborder merge transportation after the order is split. The second step calculates the cost of the current “greedy algorithm” of the e-commerce platform for order split fulfillment. Then, the cost of each strategy is compared and the lowest cost one is chosen. The calculation example analysis shows that the order fulfillment strategy is closely related to the delivery location of the order and the SKU category. When the delivery location is far away and SKU categories are many in the order, the merged transportation strategy of suborders after the order is split will be significantly better than the cost of separate transportation. The multiwarehouse collaborative distribution fulfillment strategy proposed in this paper can provide a decision basis for the e-commerce platform to choose which fulfillment method.

Abstract:

The implementation of post-divorce decisions in the religious court demands great attention because the system for implementing decisions in divorce cases still needs to be stronger. The cost of executing the decision is not commensurate with the nominal (the ex-husband must pay “the obligation” to his ex-wife). As a result, court decisions become “useless”, which are only authoritative in writing but weak in implementation. Through this paper, the author wants to explain a new concept related to the fulfillment of the rights of women and children after divorce based on an interconnected system so that post-divorce women and children are guaranteed their fulfillment of rights without going through the process of execution in court. This research is normative research through a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. This research shows that ensuring the women's and children's rights fulfillment requires an interconnected system. Courts must involve non-judicial institutions in an integrated manner following their respective authorities. This new framework makes institutions outside the judiciary as external partners in implementing single identity-based court decisions.

Abstract:

The objective of this study was to offer policy concept ideas in fulfilling restitution for the victims in accordance with the required attainment of justice. Restitution related to the payment of costs charged to the person based on a court decision that has permanent legally enforceable for the costs suffered by the victim or heir. This study used a normative method using a statutory approach and a case approach. From the three court decisions and one trafficking case in the constabulary, the victim's comprehension of the legal handling experienced is sufficient to accommodate the victim's wishes in obtaining victim's rights. Conclusions are drawn through an inductive to deductive thought process. Of the three decisions reviewed, it proved that the application of restitution payments was not able to fulfill a sense of justice for the victim. In fact, in practice, the fulfillment of compensation payments is in the non-penal space, from the perspective of victim recognition, it is sufficient to accommodate their wishes and hopes for the fulfillment of the expected restitution rights. In order to provide legal certainty for victims of the fulfillment of restitution rights, a legal breakthrough is required. The diversion method as a confirmation of ensuring the payment of the victim's restitution right is an offer. The concept of diversion can be carried out with the limitation of the criteria for the impact experienced by the victim, and the legality of legality is determined through a court decision or decision, as legal achievement through restorative justice is able to restore conflicts from perpetrators and victims.

Purpose E-fulfillment has a significant role to play within e-tailing, which provides products to a customer, comprising primarily of five components: website quality, customization strategy, distribution strategy, last mile delivery and return management. The purpose of this paper is to provide an e-fulfillment performance evaluation framework for an e-tailer, considering the different performance aspects of information systems (IS), marketing and operations for e-tailers. Design/methodology/approach Since quite a few performance aspects (i.e. IS, marketing system and operations) need to be factored in while evaluating the e-fulfillment performance, it may be considered as a complex multi-criteria decision-making problem. This study used decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) based analytic network process (DANP) to investigate the relationship between performance class and performance aspects, and calculated their weights. These designated weights of performance aspects help managers to find the important aspects needing improvement. The understanding of the interrelationship among the performance aspects enables managers to improve the efficiency of an e-tailing system. Findings This study provides the e-fulfillment performance evaluation framework to find the important aspects requiring improvement. The results of this study reveal that the important performance aspects of e-fulfillment performance are return policy, pickup method, innovativeness, assortment type, assortment width, trust (privacy and security) and promised delivery date. Practical implications This e-fulfillment performance evaluation could be used by an e-tailer to assess the e-fulfillment performance, and identify areas of improvement. Originality/value This study makes a contribution to the present body of knowledge by considering operations related performance aspects except the IS and marketing to evaluate the e-fulfillment performance.

Abstract:

The task of planning work while the implementation of the project, where you can separate several stages, is discussed in the article. Dependent stages are allowed, the fulfillment of which is possible only after the successful completion of a particular stage or group of stages. The approach for receiving the maximum mean income under planning for the period under review is offered, positive or negative income is associated with the fulfillment or non-fulfillment of certain stages of the project. The basis of approach and Markov chain theory are the method of dynamic programming. All the variables of the given problem are described, the necessary formulas and equations for numerical calculations based on the recursive Bellman relation are given. The processing of expert estimates (obtaining the transition probabilities of Markov chains) is proposed to be made using the methods of Saaty. The decision result is the selection of admissible managements. Managements (management decisions) allow to adapt with various scenarios which may occur on the implementation stages of projects.

From the supremacy of the constitutional norm follows the unity of the legal and jurisdictional system in the protection of the constitutional public order, which provides for the validity and effectiveness of the court decisions issued by the judges of the Constitutional Court. The enforcement of jurisdictional decisions issued by constitutional courts or tribunals is adjusted to the right of the party in whose favor the judicial authority rules, so that those who issue them or those who are responsible for their implementation are obliged to take the necessary and timely measures measures for their strict compliance, in accordance with applicable rules and procedures and regardless of whether the punishment to be carried out is to be carried out by a public or private organization.Analyzing the practice of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, it can be pointed out that the fulfillment by all subjects of legal relations of the prescriptions set forth in court decisions that have entered into force confirms the authority of the state as a legal entity. Also, the mandatory execution of a court decision is a necessary condition for the realization of everyone’s constitutional right to judicial protection, therefore the state cannot evade the fulfillment of its positive duty to ensure the execution of a court decision for the real protection and restoration of court-protected rights and freedoms, legal interests of physical and legal entities, society, state. The positive obligation of the state to ensure the execution of a court decision involves the creation of appropriate national organizational and legal mechanisms for the implementation of the right to the execution of a court decision, capable of guaranteeing the exercise of this right and the binding nature of court decisions that have gained legal force, which is impossible without their full and timely implementation.Timely implementation of decisions of the Constitutional Court is an imperative of the principle of legal certainty. This constitutes a fundamental element of the requirement of efficiency, which is part of the process and guarantees compliance with the principles of supremacy and constitutional immunity by all branches of government and citizens.

Abstract:

Research around the emergence of entrepreneurship usually pays special attention to aspects of motivation and driving factors that support a decision to become an entrepreneur. Self-fulfillment is one of the driving factor that is still abstract in its meaning. This article aims to provide a deeper meaning of self-fulfillment, viewed from a cultural perspective as a result and shaper of the thought process, by looking at the meaning of entrepreneurism value for an entrepreneur who runs a micro business in a coffee shop. The method used is case study with ethnography approach which utilizes participation observation on Warung Kopi Empat Saudara in Kliningan, Bandung. The study's results found that the meaning of self-fulfillment can be found and described in cultural aspects such as the fulfillment of religious and social values. The fulfillment of religious values can be found in religious freedom to pray during work, described as giving workers access to pray, honesty in business, and having muslims as workers. While the fulfillment of social values is described as helping each other, upholding responsibility to the community, and keeping life harmonious.

The determination of the suspect is the object of pretrial after the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 21/PUU-XII/2014. Pretrial only examines formal aspects; however the object of the pretrial relating to the determination of the suspect, the pretrial examination becomes a dilemma because it is always related to the examination of the fulfillment of the evidence which has actually entered the area of examination of the case material. In this paper, the legal issue being studied is the Pretrial Decision Number 01/Pid.Pra/2021/PN.Tob. who decides to reject the applicant’s pretrial application. On the other hand, the alleged criminal case can’t be tried until now because the Public Prosecutor continuously returns the file (P-19) on the grounds that there is not enough evidence. To answer these legal issues, a normative legal research method with a case approach is used. This approach is to analyze the basis of judgesconsiderations in making decisions. The results of the study show that the Pretrial Decision Number 01/Pid.Pra/2021/PN.Tob. did not consider in detail the Determination Of The Suspect. The judge does that so as not to get cought up in the examination of the case material; even though the determination of the suspect should have checked the fulfillment of the evidence in the framework of the formal aspect of the examination.

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the fulfillment of the rights of the ex-wife in obtaining the burden of living after the divorce decision. This type of research is a sociological jurisprudence based on the jurisprudence school. This research is based on normative law (statutory regulations), but does not examine the system of norms that work in society. The analysis used in this study is descriptive data analysis using a qualitative approach to secondary legal materials and primary legal materials. The description includes the content and structure of positive law and Islamic law, which is an activity carried out by the author to analyze the determination. The results of this study indicate that the fulfillment of the burden of living after the divorce decision by the ex-husband to the ex-wife in divorce cases, in its implementation has not run optimally in all divorce cases accompanied by the burden of living, although this has been based on a judge's decision which has permanent legal force. Fulfillment of the burden of living after the divorce decision in his position is largely determined by the good faith of the ex-husband in fulfilling the responsibility of burdening the living voluntarily by the contents of the court's decision as to the party who is burdened with a living. So that to realize the maximum post-divorce burden of living in all divorce cases with the qualification of the burden, in this case, it is important to immediately give birth to the concept of legal reform in fulfilling the payment of living by guaranteeing the property of the ex-husband by including the element of guaranteeing the property of the ex-husband in the the decision handed down and presenting a mechanism for executing for free or for free.

Abstract:

This article analyzes the fulfillment of the right of restitution for child victims who are victims of criminal acts of economic and sexual exploitation. The purpose of this article is to find out the fulfillment of the right of restitution for victims of the crime of economic and sexual exploitation of children based on the study of decision number: 331/Pid.Sus/2021/PN Yyk. This article is a normative legal research with a prescriptive nature and uses primary and secondary legal materials. The technique for collecting legal materials is to use a literature study with a case approach. The analysis technique used is the syllogistic method using a deductive mindset. The results of the research show that the victim's child gets the fulfillment of the right of restitution in the amount of IDR 81,650,000.-. The Yogykarta District Court judge's decision has an element of legal certainty, because the charges that have been put forward before the trial are proven legally and convincingly for the judge in making his decision. Abstract:

Quantum computing is used to address supply chain optimization complexity and efficiency. Multiple locations, time periods, transportation expenses, facility opening costs, production capacity, and demand fulfillment requirements complicate supply chains. Supply chain optimization's complexity and huge solution areas challenge traditional optimization methods. Quantum algorithms can efficiently explore bigger solution areas in quantum computing. Starting with problem identification, this research reviews quantum computing and supply chain optimization literature. The supply chain optimization problem is modeled mathematically to incorporate transportation, facility opening, production, and cost. Binary choice factors and constraints ensure demand fulfillment, facility capacity limitations, and flow balance. The mathematical theory is applied numerically. The example addresses three locations, two time periods, transportation costs, demand amounts, production capacity, and facility opening costs. A proper optimization solver optimizes the decision variables to reduce total cost while meeting demand and making efficient supply chain decisions. The supply chain optimization model reduces costs and informs transportation, facility opening, and production decisions. The numerical example shows how quantum computing may optimize supply chain topologies and reduce costs. The study explains the findings, highlights gaps in the literature, and stresses the need for more research to bridge theory and practice. This study advances supply chain optimization with quantum computing. It shows how quantum computing might improve supply chain network decision-making, efficiency, and cost.

This study constructs a panel model to conduct an empirical analysis on the influence of fulfillment of social responsibility on corporate innovation and its mechanism based on the annual data of A-share listed companies in China from 2010 to 2020. Research results show that (1) fulfillment of social responsibility has a positive effect on corporate innovation. Compared with enterprises with high economic policy uncertainty and low equity balance and non-state-owned enterprises, the implementation of social responsibility has a larger impact on the innovation of enterprises with low economic policy uncertainty and high equity balance and state-owned enterprises. (2) Corporate financialization and agency costs play a mediating role in the relationship between fulfillment of social responsibility and corporate innovation. Fulfillment of social responsibility can promote enterprise innovation by alleviating the capital-crowding effect caused by enterprise financialization and reducing agency costs. (3) Commercial credit has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between fulfillment of social responsibility and enterprise innovation. (4) Institutional investors have a negative moderating effect on the relationship between the fulfillment of social responsibility and enterprise innovation. The results can provide important theoretical guidance and serve as a decision-making reference for standardizing corporate social responsibility behavior and realizing the high-quality development of the Chinese economy.

Efforts to meet the availability of vegetables in fulfilling vegetable intake, especially for people in Lutawar sub-district, Central Aceh district, community agriculture requires a technology development that supports the calculation of production at each harvest and can also determine the fulfillment of community food availability. Abstract:

It is an important QFD decision problem to determine the engineering characteristics and their corresponding actual fulfillment levels. With the increasing complexity of actual engineering problems, the corresponding QFD matrixes become much huger, and the time spent on analyzing these matrixes and making decisions will be unacceptable. In this paper, a solution for efficiently solving the QFD decision problem is proposed. The QFD decision problem is reformulated as a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) model, which aims to maximize overall customer satisfaction with the consideration of the enterprises’ capability, cost, and resource constraints. And then an improved algorithm G-ICA, a combination of Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) and genetic algorithm (GA), is proposed to tackle this model. The G-ICA is compared with other mature algorithms by solving 7 numerical MINLP problems and 4 adapted QFD decision problems with different scales. The results verify a satisfied global optimization performance and time performance of the G-ICA. Meanwhile, the proposed algorithm’s better capabilities to guarantee decision-making accuracy and efficiency are also proved.

Abstract:

Impulsive food buying resulting in waisted items and emotional regrets is regarded as biased buying behaviours through irrational decision making. Extensive previous research has brought forward projection bias, associative memory and episodic foresight, emotions and impulsivity, affective forecasting, and physical arousal as some of the contributors to the tendency to pursue immediate rewards of thrill and satiation over delayed and long-term fulfillment. The present study focuses on the causes of this phenomenon from the psychological perspective, identifying various internal and environmental factors and their relevance based on evidence of past research. It closely compares the Rational Choice Theory with actual shopping behaviours and challenges a fixed definition of objectivity and rationality in decision making. It then attempts to make connections between the cognitive causes of irrational decision making and immediate gratification, suggesting that postponing gratification may help with making more rational decisions when browsing for foods.

One of the most significant court decisions in copyright law has been the United States Supreme Court's decision in Feist Pub., Inc. v. Rural Tel. Serv. Co., and its path-breaking approach towards the requirement of originality. The grant of copyright protection, in an intangible work, is conditioned upon the fulfillment of the prerequisite of originality. Until the Feist decision, Anglo-American copyright law had a long tradition of interpreting the requirement of originality as imposing a minimum standard of labor, skill or judgment in the production of a work that is not a copy of another work. In Feist, a watershed decision, which had international impact and influence, the United States Supreme Court first introduced the requirement of creativity into Anglo-American copyright law. According to the court's ruling, only works that entail a minimum standard of creativity could pass the threshold of originality and therefore be eligible for copyright protection.

Design/Methodology/Approach: This research was used three exogenous variables, namely: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived security and risks-free. In addition, the research considered the adoption in new e-fulfillment services platform as endogenous variable with trust as intervening variable. The data collected from the SME’s who are located in the Jakarta and its surrounding areas and further analyzed statistically using Structural Equation Model approach. Findings: The key finding of this research was trust played a significant role in influencing the customer adoption of the e-fulfillment platform. The research also showed that perceived ease of used was the main factor in creating customer trust. The maximum usage of e-fulfillment services allowed the SME’s to focus more the product development and marketing activities. Research, Practical & Social Implications: SME’s would enjoy strong business competitive positioning if they were able in adopting the e-fulfillment services. Originality/Value: Since the concept of e-fulfillment services were quite new in Indonesia, the study recommends the needs to increase the awareness and knowledge to SME’s by ensuring the benefit of this new platform.

Abstract:

Charitable donation and energy-saving R&D are two common approaches to fulfill corporate social responsibility (CSR). A recent survey in China shows that most firms prefer donating to investing in energy-saving research and development. To understand firms’ preference, we develop a game model to investigate the optimal CSR decisions and profit of the firm, which considers donation and energy-saving R&D approaches, respectively. Then, we analyze how the government subsidies for CSR, as well as the unit production cost and the R&D cost of energy-saving product, affect the firm’s CSR decisions and the CSR rate of return. Finally, we study the triple bottom line approach, i.e., considering donation and energy-saving R&D approaches simultaneously, and investigate the interaction between the above two approaches. The results show the following. (1) Government subsidy is an important driver for the firm’s CSR fulfillment and the triple bottom line approach is optimal if the government simultaneously provides two subsidies. (2) When the government subsidy for energy-saving product is moderate, the firm will choose the approach with high profit and high CSR rate of return. (3) The CSR rates of return of different approaches are also compared to reveal the efficiency of the CSR fulfillment and the firm may sometimes choose an approach with low CSR rate of return to pursue high profit. We identify why and when firms prefer charitable donation to energy-saving R&D approach and determine the threshold of the firm engaging CSR for the government to formulate CSR subsidy policies.

Breastfeeding has been appreciated mainly as fulfilling an infant’s right to health. It, however, also involves the mother’s right to reproductive health, in this context, is the right to autonomy. This paper assesses how the selected provisions on breastfeeding facilitate the fulfillment of a mother’s freedom, precisely in the decision-making process. The analysis focuses on two groups of provisions: (i) Provisions of laws that affect breastfeeding by working mothers; (ii) Provisions of laws related to efforts to provide information related to breastfeeding for mothers. The study uses a doctrinal and legislative approach with the desk study method (literature, law, and policy review). The result is that the provisions of laws governing breastfeeding have not fully provided facilities for mothers as a way to fulfill mothers’ right to autonomy. This is based on two findings: 1) the absence of a clause requiring information on potential hurdles and challenges that mothers may face, and 2) the absence of a provision ensuring information given to mothers inclusive of the fact of no legal consequences related to mothers’ decisions. Those two are considered essential for the fulfillment of a mother’s autonomy.

The aim of this paper is to study the production and delivery decision problem in the Manufacturer Order Fulfillment. Owing to the order fulfillment optimization condition of the manufacturer, the multi-objective optimization model of manufacturers' production and delivery has been founded. The solution of the multi-objective optimization model is also very difficult. Fast and Elitist Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA II) have been applied successfully to various test and real-world optimization problems. These population based the algorithm provide a diverse set of non-dominated solutions. The obtained non-dominated set is close to the true Pareto-optimal front. But its convergence to the true Pareto-optimal front is not guaranteed. Hence SBX is used as a local search procedure. The proposed procedure is successfully applied to a special case. The results validate that the algorithm is effective to the multi-objective optimization model.

Our main contribution is a simulation model that helps service providers analyze the consequences of changes in both the service capacity assigned to their customers and the tendency of service requests received on the fulfillment of a business rule associated with the strategic goal of customer satisfaction. This business rule is set in the SLAs that service provider and its customers agree to, which determine the maximum percentage of service requests that are permitted to be abandoned because they have exceeded the waiting time allowed. To illustrate the use and applications of the model, we include some of the experiments conducted and describe our conclusions.

Abstract:

This article examines the fulfillment of the civil rights of extramarital children which has become a controversy since the issuance of the Constitutional Court decision no. 46/PUU-VIII/2010, which is considered as a progressive and responsive measure to guarantee children's rights. However, the content of this decision is considered to violate Islamic norms in giving family lineage to extramarital children for it will create a stigma that one does not need a sacred marriage institution if he only wants to establish a civil or lineage relationship with his biological father; instead, it only requires evidence based on science and technology or others in court. This article answers the questions of how to interpret the concept of the civil rights of extramarital children to avoid conflicts with Islamic norms and what are the philosophical and sociological benefits of fulfilling civil rights for extramarital children. This study is qualitative in nature. It is focused more on conceptual ideas based on library research using conceptual and case approaches. It was found that (1) the civil rights of extramarital children are not a lineage right but compensation from their biological father as a form of moral responsibility; (2) philosophically, the civil rights of extramarital children are to fulfill the value of social justice which is distributive and, sociologically, these rights create a prosperous social condition for society by fulfilling the civil rights of the next generation of the nation covering their physical, mental, spiritual, and intellectual needs.

This study aimed to analyze the juridical implications, the urgency of the new concept of default, losses suffered by creditors, and legal protection for creditors after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019. This study used a normative juridical method with a case and legislation approach. The juridical implication of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 was the non-fulfillment of the element of legal certainty due to differences in the concept of default in the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 with the provisions of Article 1243 of the Civil Code. The urgency of the new concept of default in the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 was to provide legal protection for debtors when a default is declared unilaterally by the creditor. Losses experienced by creditors were categorized into cost losses, losses on damaged goods, and losses on profits that should be obtained. Legal protection for creditors was carried out in a preventive and repressive manner.This study aimed to analyze the juridical implications, the urgency of the new concept of default, losses suffered by creditors, and legal protection for creditors after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019. The juridical implication of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 was the non-fulfillment of the element of legal certainty due to differences in the concept of default in the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 with the provisions of Article 1243 of the Civil Code. The urgency of the new concept of default in the Constitutional Court Decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019 was to provide legal protection for debtors when a default is declared unilaterally by the creditor. Losses experienced by creditors were categorized into cost losses, losses on damaged goods, and losses on profits that should be obtained. Legal protection for creditors was carried out in a preventive and repressive manner.

Abstract:

Soviet economic policy under Brezhnev presents a puzzling pattern of abortive reforms and contradictory approaches. The authors find that the political arrangements and decision-making procedures Brezhnev and his Politburo colleagues set up were major causes of Soviet failures to reform economic policy. The authors' data, derived from a content-analysis study of Politburo members' public statements, suggest that Politburo decisions on economic policy were made through a collective and consensual process, which did not resolve conflict but merely smoothed it over. The process allowed important individuals or minorities to have their views endorsed in official decisions, but in many cases there was very little commitment behind these decisions because they did not represent the views of a majority or the General Secretary. Lack of commitment at the top gave implementing agencies wide lattitude to dilute, delay, or even block fulfillment of those decisions.

Previously was done manual calculation without using a system. The calculation carried out in the form of determination of eligibility fulfillment of promotion of employee. Decision support systems can assist in determining assessments of employee work for the purpose of regular promotion by using a method. The existence method can be used in decision support systems such as Analytical Hierarchi Process (AHP). In the study of Islamic law and positive law, children are the responsibility of parents until the child is an adult. But the most dominant in supporting the child is the male parent since the child came out of the mother's womb. In this study the focus is on the form of implementation and legal effectiveness of the decision on the livelihood of the child which imposes responsibilities to the father after the marriage break up due to divorce. This study aims to understand and analyze relating to the Implementation of Law and the Effectiveness of Post-Divorce Childhood Fulfillment. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the type of socio-legal studies or juridical-empirical research. The results showed that the implementation of the fulfillment of children's livelihoods after the breakup of marriage due to divorce can be said to not fully reach the target (not yet effective). So that judges are deemed necessary to take steps so that the fulfillment of children's living after divorce can be carried out, for the sake of legal certainty of children as victims of divorce from both parents.

Abstract:

Soil function assessments (SFA) are becoming increasingly important as a tool to integrate soil-related issues in decision-making processes in order to maintain soil quality. We present the SEPP (Soil Evaluation for Planning Procedures) tool, which calculates a level of fulfillment for 14 soil functions based on the information generally collected in soil pit descriptions. By using a statistical modeling approach based on support vector machine classification, we investigate how and to what extent topography, as representated by local terrain parameters and landform classes computed with the GRASS GIS tool r.geomorphon algorithm, controls soil parameters and hence the output of the SEPP tool. A feature selection procedure is applied which highlights those topographic attributes best suited for modeling the various soil function fulfillment levels. By evaluating the model for each soil function using cross-validation we show that the prediction accuracy varies from function to function. While some terrain attributes are directly implemented in the SFA algorithms of SEPP, others are implemented indirectly due to the link between topography and land use. Minimal curvature and slope were found to be first indicators of function fulfillment level for a number of soil functions.

Abstract:

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between psychological contract and knowledge sharing behavior in the enterprise system (ES) post-implementation stage. The fulfillment and obligation of psychological contract are proposed as antecedents of knowledge sharing behavior performed by client firms. Additionally, entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is considered a moderator in the relationship between psychological contract and knowledge sharing. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted the questionnaire survey to collect data from 132 client firms of a focal ES provider in the garment industry of China. Hierarchical regression analysis was used for data analysis. Findings Psychological contract fulfillment is negatively related to knowledge sharing, whereas the positive role of psychological contract obligation is supported. EOstrengthens the role of both psychological contract fulfillment and obligation in shaping knowledge sharing behavior of client firms. Originality/value This study adopts forward- and backward-looking approaches in decision making as a theoretical lens to investigate how to improve client firms’ knowledge sharing behavior through psychological contract. By figuring out the roles of psychological contract and EO in influencing knowledge sharing, this research benefits both vendor and client firms in maintaining sustainable collaboration and continuous improvement of ES projects.
