Abstract:
Fragestellung
Die mittlere Kindheit ist geprägt von rapiden Fortschritten im Bereich der sozio-kognitiven Entwicklung. Besonders deutlich wird dies daran, daß Kinder in dieser Zeit komplexere Formen sozialer Perspektivenübernahme konstruieren und ihr Verständnis bezüglich sozialer Prozesse und interpersoneller Beziehungen erheblich erweitern. Dabei gewinnen Gleichaltrigenbeziehungen an Relevanz, da sie zwei entscheidende Aspekte vereinigen, die für das Fortschreiten der sozio- kognitiven und emotionalen Entwicklung des Kindes notwendig sind. Zum einen haben Kinder in diesem Alter die wichtigsten Voraussetzungen für die Herausbildung reiferer Formen sozialen Austausches erworben. Zum anderen fordert die symmetrisch- reziproke Struktur von Gleichaltrigenbeziehungen verstärkt soziale Kompetenzen heraus, da zwischen Gleichrangigen die Entwicklung gemeinsamer Sichtweisen nur möglich ist, wenn die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven der Interaktionspartner kooperativ koordiniert werden (Selman, 1984, Youniss, 1994).

Konflikte spielen in diesem Ko- Konstruktionsprozeß eine besondere Rolle, da die Überwindung des durch Konflikte entstehenden kognitiven Desäquilibriums zu einer Weiterentwicklung kognitiver Strukturen und sozialer Kompetenzen beitragen kann (Piaget, 1986). Wenn soziale Konflikte wiederholt nicht befriedigend bewältigt werden, können sie allerdings auch negative Folgen für Selbstwertgefühl und Motivation nach sich ziehen und kognitives Wachstum eher behindern. Das entwicklungsförderliche Potential sozialer Konflikte kann nur dann positiv wirksam werden, wenn Konflikte erfolgreich bewältigt werden. Dies geschieht am ehesten, wenn die Konfliktpartner gegenüber sozialer Interaktion positiv eingestellt sind und versuchen, eigene Interessen mit denen des Konfliktpartners auszubalancieren. Als ungünstig für erfolgreiche Konfliktbewältigung gilt dagegen ein Übermaß negativer Emotionen und der Versuch, den Konfliktpartner zu dominieren (Putallaz & Sheppard, 1992).

Freunde zeigen aufgrund der zwischen ihnen bestehenden emotionalen Bindung eine verstärkte positive soziale Orientierung, die darin zum Ausdruck kommt, daß sie auch in Konflikten vermehrt positive Emotionen austauschen und den Ausdruck negativer Emotionen kontrollieren. Im Bemühen um Aufrechterhaltung oder Vertiefen ihrer Beziehungen und in Sorge um das Wohlergehen des anderen setzen sie in ihrem aufeinander bezogenen Handeln eher moralische Prinzipien um und versuchen eher als nicht befreundete Kinder, gegensätzliche Interessen auszugleichen (Putallaz & Sheppard, 1992; v. Salisch, 1991).

Abstract:
Le mérite de Nietzsche, qui est représenté dans notre étude, est d'avoir cherché à élucider la « dialectique de l’amitié » de manière philosophique. On retrouve dans son œuvre des traces nettes d'une confrontation philosophique continue avec le thème de l'amitié qui parsèment ses écrits, ses fragments posthumes et ses lettres. Bien que le mot « amitié » revienne très souvent et que le sujet de l'amitié soit très important dans ses écrits, il a jusqu'à ce jour été très peu question d'« amitié » dans la littérature secondaire sur Nietzsche. Nietzsche est peut-être le dernier philosophe pour qui l'amitié représente, de façon presque antique, la forme de vie du philosophe et le véhicule de la pensée. La philosophie est considérée comme un exercice intellectuel, comme un travail sur soi-même dans lequel la théorie s'allie à la pratique. Nietzsche démontre un souci permanent de vivre, d'apprendre et d'enseigner dans l'amitié. Le présent travail se propose d’analyser sa théorie et sa pratique de l’amitié selon des exemples dans son parcours : l'« Idylle de Tribschen » avec Wagner, « l'amitié de table, de maison et de pensée » de Bâle avec Overbeck, le « cloître pour esprits libres » de Sorrente avec Meysenbug et Rée ainsi que la « Trinité » intellectuelle, la « Heilige Dreieinigkeit », avec Rée et Salomé. Ce qui apparaît, c'est la diversité que revêt la notion d'amitié de Nietzsche. L'idée que l'amitié est empreinte de différends, d'instabilité et de changement accompagne l'œuvre de Nietzsche. Il s'avère qu’un aspect important de sa pensée a été ignoré : son inventaire des dangers et de l'impossibilité de l'amitié, ce pourquoi le sens de la notion « ami » doit être redéfini
Friendship plays an outstanding role in Friedrich Nietzsche’s life and work. His oeuvre is very rich in references to the concept of friendship. Yet, there has been surprisingly little research on this topic so far. Nietzsche clearly recognizes the ambivalence of friendship. The present thesis is an effort to analyse the dialectic of friendship and to conceptualize it with Nietzsche. We examine Nietzsche’s concept of friendship: as a necessity and, at the same time, an unreachable ideal; as a sublation of the established opposition between friend and enemy; in its relation to the concept of “star-friendship”; in its transition to the status of “ghosts of friends”; with respect to breaking up friendships; with respect to his “Hymn to Friendship”. Nietzsche may have been the last great writer for whom friendship represents the existential problem of a philosopher and the vital medium of his thought. According to him, philosophy is a spiritual exercise; his efforts consequentially aim at living in friendship, learning in friendship and teaching in friendship. We examine a series of case studies: the close friendship with Wagner, the confraternity with Overbeck at Basel, the “monastery of free spirits” with Meysenbug and Rée at Sorrento and the so-called “holy trinity” with Rée and Salomé. A culminating point in Nietzsche’s oeuvre is §279 of the “Gay Science”. Due to the vital importance of this aphorism on “star-friendship”, we devote an extensive analysis to it. Finitude and a kind of persistence of friendship even after its break-up are intertwined here. We also reconstruct the genesis of this aphorism, making use of textual pre-stages archived at Weimar
Freundschaft nimmt in Nietzsches Denken und Leben eine herausragende Stellung ein. In seinem Schaffen finden sich deutliche Spuren einer kontinuierlichen philosophischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema der Freundschaft, die in seinen Schriften, nachgelassenen Fragmenten und Briefen verstreut sind. Obwohl allein das Wort „Freundschaft“ sehr häufig in seinem Werk vorkommt, ist die Freundschaftsthematik in der Nietzsche-Sekundärliteratur bisher wenig behandelt worden. Friedrich Nietzsche hat wie kein anderer Denker die ambivalente Natur der Freundschaft erkannt, dargestellt und durchlebt. Vorliegende Untersuchung will einen Beitrag dazu leisten, diese „Dialektik der Freundschaft“ mit Nietzsche auf den philosophischen Begriff zu bringen. Einzelne Teile der Arbeit untersuchen Nietzsches Bemühen um die Freundschaft: als Unentbehrlichkeit und zugleich Unmöglichkeit; als Aufhebung des klassischen Gegensatzes von Freund und Feind; im Blick auf die Freunde der Zukunft; im Postulat der Sternen-Freundschaft; in ihrer Veränderlichkeit in der Gespenster-Freundschaft; im Brechen von Freundschaften; in der Freundschaftskomposition des „Hymnus an die Freundschaft“; im lebenslangen Streben, Freundschaftsbündnisse zu begründen. Nietzsche ist vielleicht der letzte Philosoph, für den Freundschaft die Lebensform des Philosophen und das Medium des Denkens bildet. Philosophie wird verstanden als geistige Übung, als Arbeit am Selbst, in der sich Theorie und Praxis vereinigen. Beständig richtet sich Nietzsches Bestreben darauf, in Freundschaft zu leben, zu lernen und zu lehren. Der Freundschaftsbund mit Gleichgesinnten ist die Hoffnung und der Traum seines Lebens und wird exemplarisch anhand der Tribschner Gemeinschaft der Unzeitgemäßen mit Wagner, der Basler „Tisch-, Haus- und Gedankenfreundschaft“ mit Overbeck, des Sorrentiner „Klosters für freiere Geister“ mit Meysenbug und Rée sowie der sogenannten „Heiligen Dreieinigkeit“ mit Rée und Salomé dargestellt. Einen Kulminationspunkt in Nietzsches Schaffen bildet der §279 der „Fröhlichen Wissen¬schaft“, der Aphorismus über „Sternen¬-Freundschaft“, dem wir daher eine eingehende Analyse widmen. Endlichkeit und Fortdauer der Freundschaft über das Ende hinaus werden hier zusammengeführt. Aufgrund der Bedeutsamkeit dieses Aphorismus für Nietzsches Konzept der Freundschaft wird seine Genese anhand der textlichen Vorstufen rekonstruiert

Pendant le Haut Moyen age, l'amitié semble être synonyme avec une relation personnelle hautement institutionnalisée et ritualisée. A travers ce modèle, tout un imaginaire de l'émotionnalité entre dans le discours politique, à la fois sur le plan verbal et dans les pratiques. Ce travail se propose d'analyser les influences mutuelles de cette conception de l'amitié (qui se développe vers un modèle plus individualisé comme il se rencontre à l'époque de la Renaissance) et d'une perception hautement personnalisée de la sphère politique fondé sur une analyse du discours théorique sur l'amitié depuis l'Antiquité. L'étude se concentre sur la Bourgogne des Ducs Valois, qui représente une époque et un espace charnières. L'analyse du discours sur l'amitié et des gestes qui vont de pair est en premier lieu fondée sur les représentations textuelles dans l' " historiographie bourguignonne "(chroniques et mémoires) ainsi que sur les transpositions en image dans les enluminures des manuscrits qui furent produits dans ce cadre culturel. Les résultats montrent que les contemporains distinguent le lien d'amitié de celui de parenté. Néanmoins il peut être considéré comme une " institution sociale " à cause des obligations qu'il comportait et qui furent reconnues universellement. Dans ce cadre, sa force " unitive " était fondée sur l'influence de l'émotion qui garantissait l'engagement de la personne entière. Les gestes de proximité physique, comme le baiser, l'accolade, coucher sur le même lit et chevaucher un même, servaient à la fois de signe extérieur et de moyen d'influencer la disposition émotionnelle de l'individu
During the high Middle Ages, friendship seems to have been synonymous with a highly institutionalized and ritualized personal relationship. This model allowed to apply an “imaginary” of emotion to the political sphere as well on a verbal as on a practical level. The present study tries to analyze the development and the mutual influences of this concept of friendship, which tends to get more individualized towards the Renaissance, and the highly personalized perception of politics based on an analysis of the friendship discourse from antiquity onwards. The study concentrates on Valois burgundy, which represents a central point in time and space as to our subject. The analysis of the so-called “burgundian historiography” (chronicles and memoires) as well as on their pictorial transpositions in manuscript illuminations which stem from this cultural milieu. The results show that the contemporaries distinguished the bond of friendship from parental relations. Nevertheless, it can be considered a “social institution” because of its intrinsic obligations which were universally recognized within the framework. Within this framework, its “uniting” force was seen as based on the influence of emotion, which guaranteed the engagement of the whole person. The gestures of physical proximity, like the kiss, the embracement, sleeping in the same bed, and riding on the same horse, served at the same time as exterior signs and as means to influence the emotional disposition of the individual

Abstract:
Karlheinz Stockhausen (1928-2007) was one of the most influential composers of the second half of the twentieth century. Although his music has been written about extensively, there is little scholarship focusing directly on his saxophone music. This document is a study of Karlheinz Stockhausen's saxophone works. It introduces saxophonists, and others, to Stockhausen's idiomatic stylistic traits and techniques in the context of his saxophone pieces. Particular aspects of Stockhausen's creative output are illuminated, including the formal construction of his pieces, the visual component of his pieces, the spatialization of his pieces, and his use of electronic media. Six of Stockhausen's pieces are discussed in detail: In Freundschaft, Saxophon, Knabenduett, Linker Augentanz, Erwachen, and Edentia.

Der vorliegende Brief Alexander von Humboldts an seinen Jugendfreund Johann Karl Freiesleben (1774-1846) reiht sich ein in das Vorhaben, unpublizierte Briefe aus Humboldts Jugendzeit der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. Editorisch fügt sich der Brief in die von Ilse Jahn und Fritz Gustav Lange herausgegebenen Jugendbriefe Alexander von Humboldts 1787-1799 ein. In diesem Band findet der Brief seinen Platz zwischen zwei Briefen Humboldts an Freiesleben, die er während seines Aufenthaltes in Dresden am 10.07.1797 sowie am 11. oder 18.07.1797 geschrieben hat.
The letter of Alexander von Humboldt to his childhood friend Johann Karl Freiesleben (1774-1846) is part of the project of making unpublished letters from Humboldt’s youth accessible to the public. Editorially, the letter fits in the edition Jugendbriefe Alexander von Humboldts 1787-1799, published by Ilse Jahn and Fritz Gustav Lange. In this volume, the letter is placed between two letters from Humboldt to Freiesleben, which he wrote during his stay in Dresden on 10th of July and on 11th or 18th of July 1797.

Abstract:
This research proposes to do a comparison of the ways in which participants of virtual communities conveyed in Portuguese, English, and German speak about friendship, investigating primarily the metaphors they use. Such a comparison is important because in different cultures, they being either national cultures or minor social groups, people not only speak different languages, but also communicate in different ways (SAPIR, 1949; WHORF, 1956; KÖVECSES, 2000; WIERZBICKA, 2003). For this purpose, we considered the following virtual communities: Yahoo!and LinkedIn. Within the Yahoo! community, we sought for questions about friendship on the websites Yahoo! Respostas (in Portuguese), Answers(in English), and Clever(in German). Within the LinkedIn community, we searched for questions about this topic on forums in each of the three languages under investigation. Considering that friendship may be described as either a feeling or a relationship (HOUAISS, 2001), we analyzed the metaphorical expressions found in the data, since metaphorical language is often used to talk about feelings, emotions or relationships (KÖVECSES, 2000, p. 4). This study was conducted considering the hypothesis that, in addition to similar metaphors to be found in all data sets, some metaphors would be found in the Portuguese data, but not in the German or English data sets and vice-versa. Moreover, there would likely be differences in frequency distributions, that is, even expressions shared by all three language systems would be used more frequently in one of them as compared to the others. These characteristics could indeed be observed in the analysis and comparison of these data. Ultimately, definitions of amizade,friendship,and Freundschaft applicable to each of the contexts (virtual communities conveyed in specific languages) were prepared using the Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM). In such definitions, an attempt was made to highlight the cultural specificities underlying language use in each of the investigated contexts.
Com estetrabalho de pesquisa, propõe-se uma comparação da maneira como participantes de comunidades virtuais veiculadas em português, inglês e alemão falam sobre o tema amizade, principalmente quanto às metáforas que utilizam.Propôs-se tal comparação, pois em culturas diferentes, seja cultura nacional ou grupo social, fala-se não apenas em uma língua diferente, como também de uma maneira diferente (SAPIR, 1949; WHORF, 1956; KÖVECSES, 2000; WIERZBICKA, 2003). Para este propósito,considerou-se as seguintes comunidades virtuais: Yahoo!e LinkedIn. Na comunidade Yahoo!, buscou-se por perguntas sobre o tema amizade no Yahoo! Respostas, Answers (em inglês) eClever (em alemão). Na comunidade LinkedIn, buscou-se por perguntas sobre o tema nos fóruns de discussão em cada uma das três línguas. Considerando-se que o tema em questão, amizade, pode ser descrito tanto como sentimento quanto como relacionamento (HOUAISS, 2001),foram analisadas as expressões metafóricas encontradas nosdados, pois quando se fala de sentimentos, emoções ou relacionamentos, utiliza-se com frequência uma linguagem metafórica (KÖVECSES, 2000, p. 4). Assim sendo, este estudo foi realizado seguindo a hipótese de que, além das metáforas similares que serão encontradas em cada um dosgrupos de dados, haveria algumas encontradas nos dados em português que não teriam correspondência nos dados em alemão ou em inglês e vice-versa, e também que algumas expressões seriam utilizadas com maior frequência em uma língua e menor em outra(s).Estas características podem ser observadas na análise e comparação dos dados. A partir dessa comparação, foram elaboradas, utilizando a Natural Semantic Metalanguage, NSM, 1 definições deamizade,friendship e Freundschaft, aplicáveis cada uma ao seu respectivo contexto (comunidade virtual veiculada em determinada língua). Em tais definições, fez-se uma tentativa de salientar as especificidades culturais de cada um dos contextos mencionados.

In der vorliegenden Dissertation wurde ein präsuppositionssensibles Verfahren zur Rekonstruktion von kindlichen Freunschaftskognitionen entwickelt und angewendet. Das Verfahren ist ein interaktionsanalytisches. Es eignet sich, um verbal und nonverbal preisgegebene Informationen zu identifizieren, die Sprecher in Interaktionssituationen als Präsuppositionen setzen. Als Präsuppositionen werden dabei die implizit logischen Voraussetzungen verstanden, die ein Sprecher während einer eigenen Äußerung annimmt, die er aber nicht explizit sprachlich äußert.

Abstract:
This thesis is about the German children’s book ‘The flying classroom’ [Das fliegende Klassenzimmer] written by the author Erich Kästner. The living conditions and requirements for upbringing have changed since the book was first published in 1933, and yet Kästner’s book conveys values and educational intentions that, in my opinion, are still relevant and valuable today in relation to the educational goals of the contemporary school system. To strengthen this hypothesis, I analysed which values and virtues are being propagated, what the intention behind those are, and how they are being represented in the children’s book and its latest adaption from 2003. My focus is on the character of the teacher Dr Bökh alias Justus, the just. In order to investigate Kästner’s educational intentions, I used a qualitative and intermedial content analysis with the book as a starting point and compared it with the adaption of 2003 to examine possible differences between them. Furthermore, I’m interested in what is expected and demanded of today’s teacher, the image one has of him or her, and how this relates to the teacher figure in Kästner’s children’s book. In order to come closer to answering the research question, I also examined external factors, such as historical contexts, to be able to justify possible changes in the communication of values during the period post-war until today. My thesis aims to show that – although times have changed – the values conveyed in the children’s book have remained the same and the book is thus attributed to authentic Zeitgeist.
