Le rythme journalier de dévalaison suit étroitement le rythme d'émergence des alevins, ce qui montre une bonne corrélation entre les deux activités, tout au moins en début de période. AbstractWe carried out relativistic force free simulations and Particle In Cell (PIC) simulations of twist injection into the magnetic arcades emerging on the surface of a magnetar. As the magnetic energy is accumulated in the arcades, they expand self-similarly. In the arcades, a current sheet is formed and magnetic reconnection takes place. We also carried out 2-dimensional PIC simulations for the study of particle acceleration through magnetic reconnection. As a result, the energy spectrum of particles can be fitted by a power-law.

A 120 mm × 53 mm × 19 mm horizontally-oriented pico projector in which both a pin-fin array and a piezoelectric fan were installed was tested to measure the thermal resistance at various heating powers. The operating frequency of the 40 mm × 10 mm aluminum piezoelectric fan ranged from 242 Hz to 257 Hz. The heat transfer coefficient of the pin-fin array was also estimated based on a thermal resistance network of the pico projector. This project utilizes the Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory (EECL) at Colorado State University (CSU) to evaluate the existing methods for controlling emissions and to identify and quantify new methods for mitigation. The EECL has two 4-Stroke Lean-Burn (4SLB) and a 4-Stroke Rich-Burn (4SRB) currently installed at its industrial engine test bed (IETB). The work demonstrates, using A 4SLB only, the contribution of the criteria pollutants NOx and CO, and hazardous air pollutant (HAPs) formaldehyde, formed in the pre-combustion chamber (PCC) compared to that formed in the power cylinder.

We compare peacekeepers’ perceived level of proactive engagement, with the expectations and demands from local populations. We find that civilians who are at risk prefer peacekeepers who show resolve in protecting civilians, and their support is based on assessments of robustness.
