Abstract:
This article introduces the concept of S -semiprime submodules which are a generalization of semiprime submodules and S -prime submodules. Let M be a nonzero unital R-module, where R is a commutative ring with a nonzero identity. Suppose that S is a multiplicatively closed subset of R . A submodule P of M is said to be an S -semiprime submodule if there exists a fixed s ∈ S , and whenever r n m ∈ P for some r ∈ R , m ∈ M , and n ∈ ℕ , then srm ∈ P . Also, M is said to be an S -reduced module if there exists (fixed) s ∈ S , and whenever r n m = 0 for some r ∈ R , m ∈ M , and n ∈ ℕ , then srm = 0 . In addition, to give many examples and characterizations of S -semiprime submodules and S -reduced modules, we characterize a certain class of semiprime submodules and reduced modules in terms of these concepts.

Abstract:
Let R be a commutative ring with nonzero identity and M be an R-module. In this paper, first we give some relations between S-prime and S-maximal submodules that are generalizations of prime and maximal submodules, respectively. Then we construct a topology on the set of all S-prime submodules of M , which is generalization of prime spectrum of M. We investigate when SpecS(M) is T0 and T1-space. We also study on some continuous maps and irreducibility on SpecS(M). Moreover, we introduce the notion of S-radical of a submodule N of M and use it to show the irreducibility of S-variety VS(N).

Abstract:
We have studied topological indices of the one the hardest crystal structures in a given chemical system, namely, M-carbon. These structures are based and obtained by the famous algorithm USPEX. The computations and applications of topological indices in the study of chemical structures is growing exponentially. Our aim in this article is to compare and compute some well-known topological indices based on degree and sum of degrees, namely, general Randić indices, Zagreb indices, atom bond connectivity index, geometric arithmetic index, new Zagreb indices, fourth atom bond connectivity index, fifth geometric arithmetic index, and Sanskruti index of the M-carbon M r , s , t . Moreover, we have also computed closed formulas for these indices.

Abstract:
We study a fork-join processing network in which jobs arrive according to a Poisson process and each job splits into m tasks, which are simultaneously assigned to m nodes that operate like M/M/s queueing systems. When all of its tasks are finished, the job is completed. The main result is a closed-form formula for approximating the distribution of the network's response time (the time to complete a job) in equilibrium. We also present an analogous approximation for the distribution of the equilibrium queue length (the number of jobs in the system), when each node has one server. Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical tests show that these formulae are good fits for the distributions obtained from simulations.
