The structure would be work well accordance to its capacity and it has the static loadings that were under limit the yield strength of the material, can be subjected to failure during operations, and this is because the structure receives additional dynamic loads that occur repeatedly within a long period of time as known as cyclic loads or fatigue loads. The purpose of the fatigue analysis is to find out the working life of structure so, the structure can be planned to repair and strengthen without disturbing the operation process. In real operations, the structure support of jaw crusher receives fatigue load from the equipment which standing on it. Structure alaysed by used finite element method with the aim to get more accurate analysis results. The type of analysis used is constants amplitude events. Based on the analysis results obtained the life of the jaw crusher is for 67000 cycles or 8 months 28.

Abstrak Osteoarthritis (OA) merupakan penyakit sendi dengan prevalensi paling tinggi yang menyebabkan nyeri kronis dan disabilitas. Berbagai faktor antara lain faktor mekanik, biokimia dan faktor enzimatik berperan dalam perkembangan OA. Perkembangan OA dicirikan oleh degradasi berlebihan pada agrekan dalam matriks ekstraseluler tulang rawan sendi. Agrekan berfungsi menyediakan fleksibilitas, viskoelastisitas dan kompresibilitas jaringan. Struktur agrekan tidak konstan sepanjang hidup, namun mengalami perubahan yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas sintesis maupun degradasi. Degradasi agrekan merupakan penanda awal kerusakan tulang rawan sendi pada OA, yang diikuti oleh kerusakan kolagen tipe II. Sejauh ini mekanisme molekulernya belum diketahui pasti, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai mekanisme dan penyebab kerusakan agrekan. Tulisan ini merupakan suatu kajian naratif berdasarkan artikel dari jurnal nasional dan internasional yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai agrekan meliputi struktur, fungsi, dan faktor-faktor yang berperan pada perubahan struktur agrekan yang menginduksi terjadinya OA. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan struktur agrekan erat kaitannya dengan perubahan fungsi mekanik tulang rawan sendi. Perubahan ini terjadi terutama karena degradasi yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas enzim, dari keluarga matriks metalloprotease (MMP) dan a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif (ADAMTS). Dari kajian ini disimpulkan bahwa degradasi agrekan karena aktivitas enzim berperan penting dalam perkembangan OA, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mencari inhibitor enzim MMP dan ADAMTS sebagai agen terapeutik untuk menghambat perkembangan dan progresivitas OA. Kata kunci: osteoarthritis, matriks ektraseluler, agrekan, degradasi. Abstract Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease with the highest prevalence and a major cause of chronic pain and disability. Many factors such as mechanical, biochemical, and enzymatic factors are involved in OA development. The development of OA is characterized by excessive degradation of aggrecan in the extracellular matrix of articular cartilage, which functions to provide flexibility, viscoelasticity, and tissue compressibility. The structure of aggrecan is not constant throughout life but undergoes changes caused by synthesis and degradation activities. Aggrecan degradation is an early marker of joint cartilage damage in OA, followed by type II collagen damage. However, the molecular mechanisms are not completely understood, so further research is needed on the mechanisms and causes of aggrecan damage. Here we provide a narrative review based on articles from national and international journals to describe the structure, function, and factors that contribute to the degradation of aggrecan. The results of the study show that changes in the structure of aggrecan are closely related to changes in the mechanical function of joint cartilage. This change occurs mainly due to degradation caused by enzyme activity, a family of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) and a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif (ADAMTS). The present study concludes that aggrecan degradation caused by enzyme activity was very crucial in the development of OA, it was needed to find MMP and ADAMTS inhibitors as a therapeutic agent to prevent the development and progression of OA. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental yang dilakukan di laboratorium, untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengukuran kekuatan beton pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Laboratorium Struktur dan Bahan Konstruksi Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya. Pengukuran kekuatan beton bisa menggunakan metode merusak dan tidak merusak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan konstanta pengali nilai hasil pengujian Hammer Test, sehingga hasilnya bisa mendekati hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan Mesin Uji Tekan. Adapun variabel penelitian adalah jenis sampel dan metode pengujian. Jumlah sampel untuk setiap umur beton adalah 20 silinder dan 20 kubus, sehingga total adalah 40 buah sampel beton, setelah itu dilakukan pengujian kekuatan dengan menggunakan metode non destruktif dan dengan bahan yang sama dilakukan pengujian kuat tekan dengan metode destruktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengujian dengan menggunakan hammer test nilainya lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan pengujian dengan Compression Machine dan didapatkannya konstanta pengali sebesar 0,88. Sehingga dengan menggunakan nilai hasil pengujian dengan alat hammer test estimasi kekuatan beton bisa diukur terlebih dahulu tanpa menggunakan metode Destruktif Kata-kata kunci : pengujian merusak dan tidak merusak, mesin uji tekan, uji kekerasan ABSTRACT This research is experimental research conducted at laboratory, to find the comparison of strength measurement of concrete in Community Service Activities at Laboratory of Structures and Construction Materials can use the method of destructive and non-destructive. The main purpose of this research is to get the value of multiplier constant from the test result of Hammer Test, so the result can come near to the test result by using Compression Machine. The research variable are; sample type (cube of 15 x 15 and cylinder of 15 x 30), testing method (hammer test vs Universal testing machine). The number of concrete cylinder sample (Ø 15 cm x 30cm) for each concrete age is 20 of cylinder and 20 of cube, so the total is 40 pcs of concrete sample, after that, compressive strength test is performed by using method of non-destructive and by the same materials, compressive strength test is performed by using method of destructive. The result of this research is prove that value test by using Hammer Test is lower that using Compression Machine and the obtained of multiplier constant is 0.88. So by using value of test result with hammer test, estimation of concrete strength can be measured in advance without using method of destructive. ABSTRACTGeostech Building, as an office and laboratory facility, requires a source of clean water from groundwater related to the limited supply of clean water from the PDAM. Due to the needs of freshwater from groundwater origin, data and information are needed regarding the potential groundwater in the area, including aquifer configuration, depth, and groundwater potential. The presence of groundwater is not distributed through every area, and it's related to the geological and geohydrological conditions. One of the geophysical methods that can describe subsurface is 2D geoelectric methods. This method can distinguish and analyze rock types, geological structures, groundwater aquifers, and other important information based on the characteristics of the electricity of rocks by looking at the value of the type of resistance. In this measurement, the Wenner Alpha configuration has been used, where the arrangement of A-B current electrodes and M-N potential electrodes have constant spacing. From the measurement results, it can be interpreted that there is a low resistivity layer containing porous groundwater as an aquifer. Based on regional geological data, it has been estimated that this layer is in the form of sandy tuff (0-1.5 ohm-m). The exploitation of groundwater with drilling is expected to reach the aquifer's upper layer at depth, starting from 11.5-13 meters. The groundwater aquifer thickness cannot be ascertained because of the penetration of the lower depth of 2D geoelectric measurements truncated by the constraint of a maximum stretch of cable. The upper layer of the aquifer contains a turned layer of fine tufa and medium tuff, which is impermeable, coarse tuff, and mixed soil with varying thickness at the upper layer.Keywords: 2D geoelectric, aquifer, potential groundwater, Geostech ABSTRAKGedung Geostech sebagai sarana perkantoran dan laboratorium memerlukan sumber air bersih dari airtanah terkait dengan terbatasnya suplai air bersih dari PDAM. Kebutuhan air bersih berasal dari airtanah, maka diperlukan data dan informasi mengenai kondisi potensi airtanah di kawasan tersebut termasuk konfigurasi akuifer, kedalaman, dan potensi airtanahnya. Keberadaan airtanah tidaklah merata untuk setiap tempat dan sangat terkait dengan kondisi geologi dan geohidrologinya. Salah satu metode geofisika yang dapat memberikan gambaran kondisi bawah permukaan adalah dengan metode geolistrik 2D. Metode ini dapat membedakan dan menganalisis jenis batuan, struktur geologi, akuifer airtanah, dan informasi penting lainnya berdasarkan sifat kelistrikan batuan dengan melihat nilai tahanan jenisnya. Dalam pengukuran ini digunakan konfigurasi Wenner Alpha, dimana susunan elektroda arus A dan B dan elektroda potensial M dan N mempunyai spasi yang konstan. Dari hasil pengukuran dapat diinterpretasikan adanya lapisan dengan resistivitas rendah yang mengandung airtanah dan bersifat porous sebagai akuifer. Berdasarkan data geologi regional diperkirakan lapisan ini berupa tuf pasiran (0-1,5 ohm-m). Pengambilan airtanah dengan pemboran diperkirakan akan mengenai batas atas lapisan akuifer pada kedalaman 11,5-13 meter. Ketebalan akuifer airtanah tidak bisa dihitung karena penetrasi kedalaman pengukuran geolistrik 2D terbatasi oleh bentangan elektroda di permukaan. <p>Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is increasingly popular. but has a very important meaning in the system of corporate governance and managerial aspects, and investing in a good organization profit organization and this research uses its capital structure as measured by the debt-equity ratio as the dependent variable, while institutional ownership and managerial ownership as well as company size and profitability as the independent variable and three control variables. Control variables are variables that are controlled or held constant so that the effect o outside factors. Control variables used in the study include the Board of Directors, non-executive directors, and chair duality. Research is underway to find empirical evidence of the influence of the implementation of Good Corporate governanve the company's capital structure. The population used in this study is a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the sample is a company in the implementation of corporate governance ranking by IICG during the period 2005-2011. From the results of testing the hypothesis, suggesting that the effect of corporate governance is proxied by managerial ownership, institutional ownership and firm size has no influence not have any impact on capital structure. The research proves that the variables have an influence on the profitability of capital structure. Variabel kontrol merupakan variabel yang dikendalikan atau dibuat konstan sehingga pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor luar yang tidak diteliti. Variabel kontrol yang digunakan dalam penelitian antara lain Dewan Direksi, <em>non-executive directors</em>, dan<em> chair duality</em>. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan bukti empris adanya pengaruh penerapan <em>Good Corporate governanve</em> terhadap struktur modal perusahaan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, sedangkan sampel adalah perusahaan yang masuk dalam pemeringkatan penerapan <em>corporate governance </em>yang dilakukan oleh IICG selama periode 2005-2011. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis, menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh <em>corporate governance</em> yang diproksikan oleh kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional dan ukuran perusahaan tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap struktur modal.
