Full textIt is no longer necessary to prove the vital contribution that female entrepreneurship makes to a nation's economic prosperity. However, more studies and research on women entrepreneurs in developing countries (Henry, 2021; Meyer, 2018) and their support in general (Leger-Jarniou et al., 2015; Santoni, 2018) are needed. This study addresses the challenges faced by Moroccan women entrepreneurs in terms of accompaniment. We are considering the accompaniment of this category of entrepreneurs using an intersectional approach that considers various factors (gender, religion, geographical area).Based on a dual qualitative study, which uses semi-directive interviews with female entrepreneurs and accompanying women, we have identified the characteristics of Moroccan women entrepreneurs, their needs and difficulties, and the characteristics of their enterprises. By relying on their opinions on the current support offer, whether for women's entrepreneurship or not, we could comprehend the issues associated with their support and provide suggestions for improvement

Full textThis work aims at studying the particularities of the destinies of women who are the founders and leaders of companies. This theme concerns both the psychological field connected with management, and clinical psychology. In order to bring out particularities wich could go unnoticed in more common cases, the author chose characters showing a heroic and eminent dimension. Thus the autor studied destinies of mythological characters such as iphis, atalante, judith, electre, historical characters such as the bouboulina, pope joan, joan of arc, then women who are contemporary leaders such as coco chanel, ikue yamazaki, nicole armingault, phoolan devi, and to finish, with the case of the matador woman christina sanchez. From these biographies, the author suggests a + typical picture ; which points out four characteristic symptoms, linked to the family problematics. The social unease which appears to the benefit of such situations is explained thanks to freudian topics and theories of narcissism. By excelling in social life, each of these women would seek to climb to a level of a position that could satisfied the maternal look previously captured by their brotherly rival and they would identify themselves both to the wonderful child who would like a father with a particular weakness, in his daughter's eye. More often, these ambitions meet with the kultur, wich by being the victim of its divide, projects on this women the guilty feeling due to the keeling of origins wich launches the social dimension of human collectivity according to freud. Reminding this drive background in its erotic, aggressive, object and narcissic dimensions has a part in this charge for which women are more often victims. So, they would be more regularly condemned because they put on the father's clothes and brought back the fears of being abandoned at the same time and castrated

Full textRecent transformations of the work place and the economic crisis have pointed out the fragility of the women's employment. It has obliged them to take a different look at their working conditions and at their place in the socio-economic structure. Consequently, by choice or obligation, they are more and more numerous to create their own jobs, individualy or collectively. In the case of a collective project, the worker's cooperative seems to offer a valuable alternative. However, even if it permits access to property, to the management of an entreprise and to a job, his creation is complex and has his own limits and constraints. - who are the collective female entrepreneurs and what are their motivations to create their own entreprise? - how to explain the choice of the legal status? - what are the limits that are to be deal with? - which counseling and assistance are required? based on a comparative analysis of two types of entrepreneurial situation, individual and collective ownership, a profile of collective female entrepreneur has been identified. She is 32 years of age, maried with more than 2 children. Most of the time, she decided to create her own cooperative after loosing her job. It seems to be a valuable experience

Full textFocusing on a female entrepreneurship support is an emerging phenomenon for wich academics have to this date received little interest. Our goal is to analyse the contribution of a particular form of entrepreneurial support: a female entrepreneurship support group. This support carries both a collective dimension and a gendered dimension. Our work is based on entrepreneurship support, female entrepreneurship and mobilizes the theory of intention to explain the contribution of female entrepreneurship support group strengthening the entrepreneurial intention of women who are more sensitive to gender stereotypes. We build a qualitative survey sequence in 4 steps to thoroughly study the phenomenon. We highlight the negative impact of gender stereotypes on entrepreneurial attitudes and the sense of personal venture. The support group contributes in removing psychological barriers by its gender approach and in decreasing the lack of self-confidence through the group dynamic. This approach is a decision support tool when the idea grows and allows the women who are more sensitive to gender stereotypes to take action. Once the difficulties are removed, the potential female entrepreneur can joie a technical support with both men and women

Facing this increased female participation in trading and more specifically the growing number of influential businesswomen, we cannot but wonder about the emerging of a female business class. Indeed, as soon as the 80's reached an end, a few "batrounnes" (baronesses), specialized in the trading of western and asian imported products, took up the front scene of public life. Our work casts the light on the dazzling rise of such women : which basis did these female fortunes build up on, What are the means to attain financial as well as social success? Do men and women share such qualities of upward mobility and adaptability, Or can we pick out distinctive features according to gender? Thus, not only women are concerned, our study also wills to focus on the importance, if not the predominance, of gender relationships in this process of "making women visible" in those economic cercles where their part is barely highlighted

Full textBy defining the representations as a cognitive mode of determination of social behaviours rather than actions, they allow to consider a decision-making situation as constraint by a structure of social connections and by behaviors of the other individuals. The subject is conceived there then as a "knowing actor": having cognitive capacities to build a social behaviour adapted to the situation, and strategic skills to manage the interaction (and its dynamics) who develops between the authors of the decision-making activity. The decision-maker builds rebuilds constantly the reality of the world surrounding him throughout the process of perception and interpretation of the new information and so, their integration in new cognitive schemas giving place to decisions and managerial actions In a context of environmental complexity, we are brought to wonder: how make the leaders "to stabilize" their representations in an environment with fast and uncertain evolution? How do they manage to elaborate and to maintain the coherence of their strategic speeches in a more and more unstable environment? How do they survive the conflicts and the crises which perturb in a rough way their mental plans and their concepts of analysis? In brief, how do they formulate the complex problems and do find a way in the complexity of the reality?

Full textOn May 22, 2019, the Pact Act (Action Plan for Business Growth and Transformation) was promulgated by the French Parliament. Long before, during the Entrepreneurship Meeting in 2013, the public authorities had already considered entrepreneurship as an essential source of economic dynamism, and SMEs as a breeding ground for employment. Also, this research is part of the logic of the emergence of "entrepreneurial capitalism".This research focuses more specifically on the creation of businesses by women who represent 40% of entrepreneurs. Despite this, only 10% of women entrepreneurs in this sub-field display growth and job creation strategies. Through their study of their process of exploiting opportunities during their entrepreneurial dynamic, this research work focuses on understanding the global evolution in a longitudinal approach of structures set up by these women. Reading the operating process is done with the business model as it allows to know the diversity of performance of these companies. The field of investigation of this research focuses on mampreneurs (French) or mompreneur (in English), neologism which is a contraction of "Mom and Entrepreneur" and "new form of female entrepreneurial expression" that offer new perspectives for research in women's entrepreneurship.Enrolled in the field of entrepreneurship and strategic management, the results of this doctoral work make possible to propose: first a specific BM model in female entrepreneurship: "2C.E.R.E" in french and “C.K.E.N.E” in english (capital, knowledge, entrepreneur, network, enterprise) then, a new definition of mompreneurship based on their entrepreneurial behavior. The contributions of this research also concern the taking into account of contextualization in female entrepreneurship; as well as an update of knowledge both at the collective level and at a more individual level of mompreneurship through the adopted biographical and non-participatory observation method. All this implies for women entrepreneurs more practical and institutional adaptations

Full textThe focus on female entrepreneurship reflects the growing magnitude of this phenomenon worldwide. Indeed, the entrepreneurial potential of women is obvious and this doctorate thesis focuses on this potential in the Cameroonian context. The literature on female entrepreneurship offers works mainly focused on the emergence of firms while writings dealing with development are rare. Yet, despite difficulties linked to access to resources, women entrepreneurs in Cameroon have succeeded. It has appeared both useful and necessary to “exhibit” these cases with the caution ensured by the scientific protocol of the “case study” method. So, our work aims at understanding how and why Cameroonian women entrepreneurs succeed in moving from a “small business” to a more ambitious business. In this regard, in-depth and comparative studies of three enterprises selected by homogenization in the service sector were conducted. The methodological framework thus chosen is supported by the concept of Business Model for the presentation of cases under analysis and by the convention theory for their understanding

Full textThe study of female entrepreneurship in the informal sector in Dakar refers to a research on the origins of the development of informal enterprises in Senegal through its social, political and economic history. The women, majority in the country, more touched by the crisis and evolving in a patriarchal traditional cultural context, knew how to develop particular strategies to empower, to emancipate and to depart from the dependence of the men by integrating the informal sector. Our research is within the framework of the theories on entrepreneurial advent adapted to senegalese informal context and attempts to highlight the factors which puch women on entrepreneurship. The inexistence of individual data on female entrepreneurs in Dakar led to the realization of a field survey and collected data were the object of an econometric treatment. Our results show that the Senegalese female entrepreneurship in the informal sector is mainly determined by the personal characteristics of the woman, sociocultural and geographical environment in which she operates. The entrepreneurial activity of the woman, beyond the economics motivations, is initially an answer to the desire to contribute to the wellness of its family and her community. It is also an answer to a need for autonomy and personal achievement

Full textThis research is within the framework of means of production related to knowledge about west African women entrepreneurship activities and namely in Africa, which is scarcely well-known at the academic level. After an analysis of an existing theory over woman entrepreneurship and a study two experimental cases, it has been properly proved to study the women entrepreneur process in Senegal in considering both the individual and collective sides. The purpose of this research is to understand, describe, and explain the process of women entrepreneurship in Senegal by putting the stress on the representation that women are having on their entrepreneur activities in their specific domains. To achieve this objective, we have chosen an interpretative approach which rests on the empirical theory with a typical quality-inductive approach and the case study strategy. Therefore, even though we have used additional data to complete it, they are considered as primary data obtained from the study of ten (1o) cases of individual entrepreneurs and eight (8) other women associations gathering in collective entrepreneur activities. At the end of the analysis we have managed to implement the characteristics of woman entrepreneurship’s and is actors regarding the Senegalese context. In the last part of our analysis, the thesis proposes an empirical and detailed theory, of the woman entrepreneurship process with environmental and personal variables

Full textIn France, 30 % of business owners are women, but further development seems difficult to achieve. A strong expansion of women’s entrepreneurship implies major financial stakes, and the actors of our economy, as well as the public authorities, are becoming fully aware of this. To accompany this growing awareness, it seems important to undertake research to understand the way in which women run businesses. In accordance with this goal, this thesis examines the entrepreneurial process of women in France. The implementation of a longitudinal multiple-case study led to twenty-six interviews with ten women business owners. Ten additional interviews were carried out with organizations counselling and accompanying entrepreneurship, and with public institutions. The results show the logic that is specific to women’s entrepreneurship, and the criteria chosen by women to assess the success of their career as business owners. A typology of the nine key dimensions which make up this women’s entrepreneurial process was then drawn up. A general discussion shows how the family and social environment, greatly influenced as they are by gender-related issues, must be taken into account in any analysis of the development of women's entrepreneurial process

SME and Entrepreneurship have shown, till this time, little interest. Therefore, o objective is to focus on a potential transmission of the Tunisian family enterprise to its daughter-successor. Within the regard, this PhD thesis aims at providing a good understanding of the transmission of the personal network from the predecessor to the daughter-successor in addition to finding out the funding resources, the favouring factors as well as the obstacles hampering this transmission. As a response to the central question of this thesis, we opted for a multi-site qualitative research by adopting interpretative paradigm. Besides, we have also chosen to conduct interviews as a qualitative approach of data collection. Therefore, the research was carried out by analysing seven case studies of Tunisian family enterprises transmitted fro predecessors to daughter-successors. Concerning the data collection, it was carried out through semi-direction) conversations, while the analysis of content was done by using the software NVivo010. The investigation has shown that despite the importance of the transmission of the personal network from the predecessors to the daughter-successors as well as the importance of the resources gained thanks to these relationship and the profitable resources provided for the successors and the family company as whole, Sociocultural constraints mi exclude the girls from this network. Nevertheless, the analysed qualitative data do emphasize the reasons behind the choice of the Tunisian daughter successor as the core of the investigation. Besides, the predecessors have pointed out that rarely has the gender of tl successor been at stake during the transmission and this reflects the remarkable social status of Tunisian women. Lastly we have realized that there are other reasons which have allowed the Tunisian women to take part in the family enterprise such as the commitment in the enterprise, the close relationships with the predecessor, the skilfulness and the character

Full textAs they gathered in organizations that appeared in 2008 in France, Mompreneurs describe themselves as executives who created their own independent business after having a child. Thanks to an investigation combining various methods among one of the French Mompreneurs organizations (an online and offline three-year ethnography, a quantitative study and biographies) and a secondary investigation among actors of the field of the cause of women leaders, this thesis asks to what extent self-employment may foster a better work/life balance and redefine gender. The scrutiny of public policies sustaining business creation, of the work to identify the Mompreneurs as a social group and of the characteristics of its members reveal the mirage that constitutes the democratization of individual economic initiative. The second part shows that after the degradation of their links to waged-employment, unrelated to the process of becoming a parent, Mompreneurs lead businesses that are more a reflection of their own Self than a wish to be economically thriving. It helps them to put away the stigmas of inactivity. If some of them do succeed in better articulating their engagements thanks to the mobilization of many resources, Mompreneurs firstly gather around parental practices that are child-centered, demanding and essentialized. Their pervading conservative morals reveal some distinctive effects that they stay limited : they show how downgrading and weakening this so-called access to economic responsibility can be, added to the gender performance infused in the way they intend to be parents

Full textA growing interest is given to women entrepreneurs in the public and academic arena. (Hughes et al., 2012), as well as to the actors and practices of the entrepreneurial support industry (Fayolle, 2004; Sammut, 2003). However, few studies are conducted on the entrepreneurial support of women entrepreneurs (Lebègue, 2015). Women entrepreneurs show some specificities and academics call for a greater coherence between the needs and wants of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial support practices (Verstraete, 2002; Chabaud et al., 2010). Moreover, the studies on women entrepreneurs are centered on their hurdles more than on their levers. Thanks to a qualitative approach, our results first show the hurdles of levers of women entrepreneurs through the 5Ms canvas of women’s entrepreneurship (Brush et al., 2009). The main levers appear to be entrepreneurial support and awareness, and perceived self-efficacy (Bandura, 1997; McGee et al., 2009). Then, our results concern the implementation and evaluation phases of the intervention-research led in an entrepreneurship center. Our contribution is to give an insight on different entrepreneurial support processes – one of them is compatible with the four profiles of women entrepreneurs. We also highlight different forms of entrepreneurial awareness that further entrepreneurial commitment of women

Full textTwo kinds of entrepreneurial process are proposed in the literature. The causal one is to search for the resources needed to achieve a predefined goal and the effectual one is to start with the means that are available without a pre-defined purpose. Few articles discuss the women entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso especially on the effectual level. So, the aim of our thesis is to answer the question: How the effectuation affects the entrepreneurial process of women entrepreneurs in Burkina Faso? To answer this question, we conducted a quantitative study with 272 entrepreneurs (213 men and 59 women) to identify the profile of the entrepreneurs in Burkina Faso and quite particularly that of the women. In the second place, we realized semi directive interviews with 20 women entrepreneurs in order to identify their motivations, but also the type of entrepreneurial process whom they adopt, as well as their place in the Burkinabe sociocultural environment. The data was processed with SPHINX software, SPSS and NVIVO 11. Our results show that the women represent only 21,7 % of the entrepreneurial landscape Burkinabe. This low representativeness is largely connected to the fact that they undergo the social standards which send back them towards the role of mother and housewife dependent on the men. Our results also show that women create their businesses for "pull" reasons, since they do it with the aim to exploit a skill or to exercise a trade or activity that they like. In addition, women create their businesses without a predefined goal in advance. Rather, they rely on the resources they have, in particular their character, know-how, and family support. The women entrepreneurial process in Burkina Faso is therefore a part of an effectual rationale. That is why new tools that take into account this dynamic and the place of women in the Burkinabe society, must be put in place to better accompany them

Full textThe relevance of a study on women entrepreneurs is the extent of female entrepreneurship. This research is a contribution to understanding the behavior of women entrepreneurs about management and business creation, in particular in the Tunisian context. The massive entry of women entrepreneurs in the business world raises the question of their integration into the business. A review of the literature shows that the majority of research raises the issue of female entrepreneurship in terms of differences or similarities between men and women entrepreneurs and their businesses. In this comparative perspective, there are two approaches to behavior of women entrepreneurs: a feminist approach for which the women approach the business differently from their male counterparts and an entrepreneurial approach that considers that the entrepreneurs of both sexes have the same perception and the same behavior in business. In an exploratory study, qualitative interviews conducted with 18 women entrepreneurs in Tunisia suggest that their behaviors are not typically male, nor typically female but they are rather hybrids. These results raise questions about the interest of the comparative perspective that looks for specific differences between men and women entrepreneurs, especially since the review of the literature on female entrepreneurship leaves place to a critical look on this comparative perspective with empirical studies that produce differentiated or even contradictory conclusions. The objective of this research is to clarify the debate that turns around the relationship of the sex and the behavior of women entrepreneurs. It proposes a comprehensive study of female entrepreneurship in Tunisia. Analysis of the results of qualitative interviews achieved in depth by 18 women entrepreneurs shows the diversity of women's entrepreneurship in Tunisia, unveils the hybrid nature of the behavior of women entrepreneurs about management and business creation and finds that their integration in the business community is through processes of construction and negotiation of their entrepreneur's identity

Full textThis thesis seeks to analyse the changing nature of trade in Togo by addressing three variables : a trade network, a commodity and a group of female entrepreneurs. To address the economical and political deterioration of contemporary Togo - a period notably characterized by the reorganization of those three elements - it is necessary to consider the seemingly resulting "disorder" in terms of a set of entangled continuities and discontinuities. The dissertation seeks to provide a critical geography of the spatial connections at work, which women traders have established from the central market in Lomé on a local, regional and international level so as to move beyond the oscillations of the economic situation. By reassessing the formation and evolution of textiles networks, the supply chain, and female entrepreneurial culture, this study attempts to explore the global interconnectivity and processes through the lens of global filters. Rather than to consider the reorganization of the global economy and its consequences on Togolese trading spaces as resulting from the process of "late modernity", this thesis seeks to explore the multiples shifts that are at work in the process of recomposition

This thesis aims at determining the structural lessons learnedfrom the sociopolitical dynamics of women entrepreneurs in social and politicalsphere about the functioning of Cameroon’s political system with regard togender. Through this inquiry, our goal is to see how the entry of women ingeneral and mainstreaming of women entrepreneurs in particular in the politicalsystem results in a change of ethos on cameroon’s political life which is stronglymarked by the ethos of notability-seniority and manhood and mainlycharacterized by the governance of manducation and policy of self-replication

Full textThis doctoral dissertation focuses on women issue entrepreneurs addressing the cause of female leaders, i. E. Women entrepreneurs and CEOs who are involved in gendered professional organizations denouncing the underrepresentation of women in executive positions in the business world. At the crossroads of a sociology of gender, collective action and elites, the dissertation aims to show that these female leaders promote a gendered cause of the dominant class, equality by and for the top of the social hierarchy founded on a differentialist definition of gender equality. The socio-history of women issue entrepreneurs shows first that though these women may have claimed to be "feminists" in the 1950s, there is a hiatus between the cause of female leaders and the feminist movement from the 1970s onwards. Second, my fieldwork, combining qualitative methods and quantitative instruments has enabled me to map the field of the cause of women leaders, where organizations, whose reference remains the economic sphere, use the repertoire of the cause of women (gender-specific groups) but also and above all of employers' organizations (professional sociability, expertise and services), while trying to combine two identities (woman and manager) the second taking precedence over the first. The sociology of practices and trajectories of committed women leaders, considered during the specific period of the campaign in favor of a law setting quotas for women on company boards as well as during a "regular" period reveals the “permeability” of “selfless” professional sociability. Activist and professional career paths indeed develop in parallel

Nowadays, Indigenous women entrepreneurship (IWE) is considered as an emerging research theme. It attracts a growing interest from policy-makers and international organizations. Indeed, it was described as a strategy to improve the living conditions of indigenous women, who are unfortunately considered everywhere in the world as victims of discrimination and several forms of systemic violence. There is an interest in the socio-economic development of indigenous women, but there are also insufficient studies on the topic, which undermines the understanding of the IWE characteristics. IWE is still very little explored by the research community, especially in administration and entrepreneurship. As a result, this doctoral research project aims to fill this gap, both theoretically and empirically, by conducting a qualitative survey on the entrepreneurial experiences of indigenous women. Using a qualitative and exploratory approach, with the cooperation and the participation of the community, this qualitative survey on the entrepreneurial experiences of indigenous women was conducted during the summer of 2018 in an indigenous community within the Province of Québec: the community of Mashteuiatsh, which belongs to the Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation. This qualitative survey is based on 22 women entrepreneurs Ilnuatsh and 5 actors of the economic development of the community. This doctoral research project is inspired by critical approaches to entrepreneurship and aims at broadening the analysis of IWE to the traditional aspects of entrepreneurship and to indigenous women’s lifestyles. Through its exploratory approach, this research project reports current knowledge of the entrepreneurial experiences of Ilnuatsh women, while promoting their experiences and vision of entrepreneurship, and explains how the community context impacts their entrepreneurial experiences. The results of this exploratory survey highlight 10 emergent themes related to the IWE analysis: 1) Motivations; 2) Values; 3) Self-representation of the IWE; 4) Obstacles; 5) Facilitating factors; 6) Local know-how; 7) Role of the indigenous woman; 8) Lifestyles and traditions; 9) Perception of entrepreneurship; 10) Entrepreneurial hybridity. In addition, the empirical body of work has allowed the analysis of the community context to be reconstructed in order to contextualize and better understand the entrepreneurial experiences of indigenous women entrepreneurs in their context of action. The results of this research help fill the existing scientific gap on IWE, and also challenge the epistemological foundations of the “classic” entrepreneurship as disclosed and known today within the academy. In practical terms, the results of this doctoral research provide practitioners with specific recommendations for the development of IWE as well as the improvement of existing initiatives. In social terms, through the process used and the disclosure of results, this research will contribute to a better integration of indigenous women in the economic activity of the Province of Québec, and both at a national and international level, and to a greater involvement of indigenous women in the socioeconomic development of their home indigenous communities. Full textThe scope of the research is an analysis of stakeholders' influences on strategic decisions, focusing principally on the role of family, within a gender perspective. The theoretical framework is the proxemic influence in Small Businesses. This framework was defined by Torrès (2003) based on the work of psycho-sociologists Moles and Rohmer (1978). The proxemic theory emphasizes the prevalence of things, people and elements that are close compared to those which are more remote. Torrès shows how strategic decisions of entrepreneurs are embedded by this proxemic influence. We test the validity of this law through the layers of theory defended by Gibb (1988) which identified a hierarchic influence of the stakeholders. The empirical study is based on an experiment structured from the experimental economics field. Men and women entrepreneurs are the subject of the experiment. Results show, innovative opportunities to better understand the strategic decisions of women entrepreneurs. They also highlight the theoretical interest of the proxemic principle to survey women from their own perspective, rather than only from the male comparison

Full textThe role of entrepreneurship has been highlighted as leverage for many economies (see Schumpeter). In this sense, according to the OECD (2016) "Entrepreneurship is an important source of job creation and innovation". In addition, "entrepreneurship is seen as a key driver of economic recovery and employment growth" (OECD, 2012)However, the "economic" aspect of entrepreneurship seems to be less obvious for the case of women entrepreneurs. In 2013, self-employed women earned between 13% and 60% less than men in the OECD area (OECD, 2016). This finding concerning the gap in economic performance and the characteristics of firms created and managed by women entrepreners is consistent with academic research results. Reserchers concluded that women entrepreneurs create smaller and with lower-growth rate firms. In this thesis we opt for a research focused exclusively on women. Thus we emphasize the notion of corporate performance as seen and defined by those women entrepreneurs. The purpose of this research is to highlight a definition of performance given by women entrepreneurs. We aim to contribute to the literature by bringing new knowledge on performance and on women entrepreneurs. Indeed, the phenomenon called "underperformance" is questioned, and the performance of small firms is seen from another angle. Then, on a practical level, politics need to understand certain phenomena and behaviors. That would help them to put in place the necessary devices to better guide women enrepreneurs and especially to encourage them

Full textLiterature tends to assume implicitly the existence of a biological determinism to explain the differences between men and women entrepreneurs. Our aim was to study the representations of business performance based on the notion of sex (biological sex: female & male), and gender (the social sex: feminity & masculinity). Could masculinity and/or femininity reveal differences in representing business performance between men and women entrepreneurs? Three quantitative studies, based on ANOVA and t-Test, were used to analyze data collected by questionnaire from 244 entrepreneurs. A qualitative study was used to model data collected during individual interview of six entrepreneurs. We found that differences in representing business performance cannot be revealed neither by the distinction of category of sex (male / female), nor by gender categories (Male, Female, Androgynous, Undifferentiated) as defined by the Bem Sex Role Inventory. Also, we confirm that collective representations of the performance by the entrepreneurs have evolved and go well beyond the simple pursuit of economic profit, and can be more closely related to current social values

Full textIf in literature, very few researches have analyzed the gender aspects in the projects, it should be noted that most of them have measured gender equated with gender as in many work in the permanent organization. However, the study of the project under gender vision has several interests. In fact, nowadays, the project transmits so far from its starting point. Its management practices have so developed that women are more and more found in projects managerial approach (Neuhauser, 2007). Can we say that organizational culture does not deal more with the project ? Does the project encourage the development of new managerial skills? In any case, in this thesis, we deal with gender issue and we would like to answer to the following question : what is gender influence on project management situations ? In this research, our goal is to find complex, risked or improvisational possible managerial situations and analyze gender effects when actors involved in projects are obliged to cope with such situations
