After a confrontation with the research and the critic, T. Huber's biography is developped in its greatest points. The work is studied under three aspects. The historical dimension comes first, with the analysis of the place and the part given to the french revolution in the novel «die familie seldorf». Then, the education is studied in the texts and the analysis of the references allows to situate the work in the pedagogical context of the 18th century. At least, all the references to nature and the landscapes in the texts are scrupulously listed and observed and it comes to conclusions and reflexions about the symbols, the evolution or persistance of several motifs or characters, the importance of nature, and the different parts accorded to it in t. Huber's literary universe. In conclusion, each part of the analysis allows to replace the work in the heritage of the rationalist tradition of the age of enlightenment

France’s breastfeeding initiation rate is 53% while Germany’s ranges around 90%. France, however, has a higher birth rate (1. 9) than Germany (1. 3, one of the lowest in the world). Historical and sociological similarities usually prime between these two countries; however, these do not explain their difference in regards to birth and breastfeeding initiation rates. The present study’s objective was to search possible explanations for such disparity. Our results show that German and French mothers appear to differ greatly in regards to motivations to breastfeed (or bottlefeed) as well as representations of breastfeeding. These two elements seem to have a determinant role over breastfeeding initiation and duration rates. In addition, the number of German mothers willing to return to their professional careers is lower than that of French mothers. They are also prone to take longer maternity leaves than French mothers. Absence of baby caregivers in Germany hampers German mothers and appears to oblige them to choose between pursuing a professional career or becoming a household mother. It also seems that a return to work before or at three months after delivery engenders a higher maternal and general self-esteem while professional inactivity six months after birth is considered a risk factor for postpartum depression

The term « forbidden relationships » refers to contacts between German civilians and French prisoners of war present on the territory of the Reich during the Second World War. Forbidden by the decree of Verbotener Umgang mit Kriegsgefangenen from November 1939 , such contacts were banned both for military security reasons and in the name of National Socialist racial ideology. Thanks to a substantial corpus of judicial files related to this crime, the thesis analyses the tens of thousands of relationships that have taken place. It shows the gap between “the norm” and reality during this period. It reflects the difficulty in controlling the civilian population during times of conflict and the agency of the actors. With the help of these different trajectories, and thanks to the contributions of micro history, this study contributes to approaching war in a different way, through a story of intimacy and love. It defends the hypothesis that forbidden relations contributed to the writing of a different history, one of Franco-German relations at the heart of the Second World War. In order for this to be understood requires a historical anthropological approach and the questioning of relationships to sexuality and the structures of kinship
