Full textObserving how is performed eco-design in industry shows that environmental experts are facing some difficulties to share data with multi-domain product designers tools: technical limitations regarding standards, lack of modularity and flexibility, semantical loss associate to the data, etc. Therefore, this research contribution is to propose a method to build dynamic information exchanges between environmental experts and product designers activities involved along the design process, based on federation using Model Driven Engineering. The method is composed of two complementary parts: creating the environmental tools models to implement the company library and supporting the ecodesign process deployment regarding the global environmental strategy and tactic. The proposal has been tested on two industrial case studies: in the companies Parkeon and Quiksilver. The experimentations results shows that the method is adapted to industries and confers three properties : (1) the adaptation to the various eco-design contexts encountered during the design process (2) the capacity for the environmental expert to use any available informations produced by other designers (keeping the data semantic) and (3) the capacity for the environmental expert to give back to designers an adapted answer to help them reiterate their respective choice. This research contributes to build a constant proactivity along the design process between designers and environmental expert. They are better supported to follow the environmental tactic and strategy of the company

Full textCritical industrial systems are prime targets of cyber threats. In particular the Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) are sophisticated and well-resourced attacks targeting valuable assets. For APTs both the attack and the defense require advanced planning and strategies similar to military operations. The existing cyber-security-aware methodologies achieve valuable results for regular cyberthreats, however they fail to adequately address APTs due to their refined strategies and evasive tactics. The Operational Design methodology of military forces helps in better understanding how APTs devise their strategies. This mission-driven methodology adapted to the APT context relies on the federationof several processes of specification, modeling and analysis in order to produce an operational strategy. To evaluate this approach, a complete federation framework has been developed and applied to the case study of a mission of attack on a water pumping station

Full textThe aim of this dissertation is to analyse the Constitution of the Russian Federation passed by referendum on 12 December 1993, in its various contexts of production. Indeed, this legal text is both the result of a short history and of a long history, of an intra-elite conflict and of an amount of representations, inherited from the past and rebuilt at the end of the 80’s and at the beginning of the 90’s. We chose to attempt to reconstruct what has been the « épistémè », the legal and political representations of the key actors of the constitutional discussions. This choice made it necessary to recount the most significant facts and conceptions of the legal and institutional history of Tsarist Russia and Soviet Union. This approach is found in the first part of this dissertation, « Perestroika as a recipient, a revolution and a model ». It appears that despite the existence of liberal traditions and proto-parliamentary institutions, the dominant tradition, granted as such by the drafters of the Russian Constitution, is basically anti-juridical and authoritarian. It is in this context that the actors of the first Russian Republic tried to use foreign patterns (mostly American and French) and the theoretical patterns of Constitutional law (parliamentary regime and presidential regime) in order to create the new institutional design. The second part of the dissertation, « The redaction process of the Constitution of 1993 », deals with short history, that is years the 1990-1993 during which two sides challenged each other, both on a political and on constitutional grounds. The side of the Congress of People’s Deputies led by its President, Ruslan Khasbulatov, promoted a project of Parliament domination, while the side of the President of the Federation promoted a project of President domination. On both sides, empirical and theoretical patterns of constitutional law were exploited and their true meanings betrayed. Between these two sides, the Constitutional Commission created by the Congress of People’s Deputies, through its several drafts, tried to find a balanced design on the basis of foreign patterns and of the science of constitutional law. Finally, on the side of the President there was success in making its conceptions prevail, within a Constitutional Conference organized in June 1993, but mainly through its political victory of October 1993. The text passed on 12 December 1993, very much in favor of the Presidency, can be considered as the heir of this conflict, but as well partly as the heir of Russian and Soviet political traditions
Somers, Benjamin. "IT infrastructure modeling for risk identification and prevention." Electronic Thesis or Diss., Ecole nationale supérieure Mines-Télécom Atlantique Bretagne Pays de la Loire, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024IMTA0401.
Full textIT infrastructures are part and parcel of our daily lives, and have become of vital importance over the last few decades. At the heart of our banking system, transport facilities and hospitals, their omnipresence and the implications of their failure make them a prime target for attackers. Beyond the security risk, these infrastructures are subject to a whole range of safety risks, from climatic events to industrial fires, to the sheer wear and tear of mechanical components. These risks, although foreseeable, are not always taken into account by companies, and can lead to potentially catastrophic consequences. Our work encompasses the entire risk management process. We defend the thesis that correct and exhaustive modeling of infrastructures allows the deduction of a set of safety and security properties constituting a satisfying risk analysis of the information system under study. We propose a set of recommendations and methods to collaboratively conduct infrastructure modeling and risk analysis. Finally, we present a formally specified infrastructure description language, CL/I, linking infrastructure models, formal verification and functional supervision

Full textThe tougher current competitive environment, the decreasing trend in public subsidies and the new consumer expectations of sports activities are forcing the business models of Olympic sports federations to evolve.Split apart between the need to deliver successful performances at world events, notably the Olympic games, in order to project an attractive image thanks to the media coverage and that of the of promoting the sport for everyone in order to increase membership, Olympic federations seek new competitive leavers. The ambition of this research has been to study the way in which they integrate competitive positioning marketing initiatives in their development strategy. How to increase members’ loyalty? How to attract more spectators and fans? How to assert the Federation brand worth for their partners and the media? We have analysed how Olympic federations, very different from each other, apply classic marketing models differently. This has lead us to deem the sports federations as brands in their own right, in relation to what they aim to build as an emotional relationship (members, spectators, partners) which goes beyond mere usage of the product. But, the ethics of what should be an Association and the mind set of being a benevolent institution, ingrained in the federations DNA to varying degrees but still very prevalent amongst their elected executive, is a hindrance to the building of a genuine Federation brand. This is why we have proposed, based on three different types of federations, different development models using classical marketing stages.Caught in-between a utilitarian ethic (and therefore of a commercial nature) and the ethics of an association (closer to the ethics of sport), the federations have no other alternative than to embrace a business attitude, opening their organisations to a marketing approach, economic viability and managerial efficiency whilst taking into account the different specific requirements of their sport on the marketing matrix. The planning of the Paris Olympic Games in 2024 welcomes a passionate period where one of the stakes will be to measure its impact over the development model of the federations
