Abstract:
The hitherto monotypic opilionid genus Fangensis Rambla, 1994 is re-evaluated from new material collected in northern, western and southern Thailand. The original description of F. leclerci Rambla (type material not traceable) was based on specimens belonging to at least three distinct species. Fangensis leclerci is thus redefined and the binomen restricted to specimens from a cave in northern Thailand only. Three new species are described, F. spelaeus, sp. nov. and F. cavernarus, sp. nov. from two caves in western Thailand and F. insulanus, sp. nov. from forests on two islands in southern Thailand. Taxonomic characters are discussed and relationships among Fangensis species and between Fangensis and other cyphophthalmids are evaluated using morphological data and ~4 Kb of molecular data from three loci, two nuclear ribosomal genes and a mitochondrial coding gene. Overall, data indicate monophyly of Stylocellidae and morphological and ribosomal data suggest monophyly of Fangensis, which is in turn divided into two clades, one composed of the three species from northern and western Thailand and the other represented by the species from southern Thailand. Observations on mating in F. leclerci are provided.

Abstract:
Thermal comfort, which used to be a luxury in life has transformed into a necessity in modern lives. Tropical country such as Malaysia has hot and humid climate all year round. Much air conditioning is required in tropical countries to provide thermal comfort for indoor occupants. Fangers model is deterministic as it regards the heat fluxes across the boundary between humans and their thermal environment. Fangers model is adopted by ASRHAE Standard 55 in 1992 but it has over-predicted thermal preferences of those living in tropics. Malaysians who are used to hot and humid climates prefer warmer indoor temperature, as hypothesized in adaptive model. Adaptive model is said to predict thermal comfort more accurately than Fangers model as it relates the indoor comfortable temperature to outdoor air temperature. The objective of this research is to integrate the adaptive theories into Fangers model and to synthesize a new thermal comfort model which is expected to accurately predict thermal comfort in tropical countries. As the adaptive theory says that not all peoples thermal preferences are affected by thermal histories and contextual factors, the new model has proposed a broader operation range of PMV for air conditioner. The increment of PMV range from ±1.0 to ±1.17 for 80% satisfaction requirement is proved to applicable in Malaysia.

Abstract:
The taxonomy of the Southeast Asian mite harvestman family Stylocellidae is updated in light of new molecular and mor-phometric phylogenies, examinations of type specimens, and a new species from Thailand. A new genus, Giribetia gen.nov., is erected, and Fangensis insulanus Schwendinger & Giribet, 2005, recombined in it as Giribetia insulana newcomb. All species in the genus Stylocellus have been recombined in Miopsalis and Leptopsalis, except for the type species,S. sumatranus Westwood, 1874, and a new species, S. lornei, sp. nov., described here. The new recombinations of formerStylocellus species are as follows: Leptopsalis pangrango (Shear, 1993), new comb., Leptopsalis sedgwicki (Shear, 1979),new comb., Leptopsalis laevichelis (Roewer, 1942), new comb., Miopsalis globosa (Schwendinger & Giribet, 2004), newcomb., Miopsalis kinabalu (Shear, 1993), new comb., Miopsalis leakeyi (Shear, 1993), new comb., Miopsalis mulu(Shear, 1993), new comb., and Miopsalis pocockii (Hansen & Sørensen, 1904), new comb. “Stylocellus” spinifronsRoewer, 1942 is now designated as nomen dubium, as the sole type specimen has been found to be a juvenile. Two newsubfamilies are proposed, each with two genera: Fangensinae subfam. nov., containing Fangensis and Giribetia, and Lep-topsalinae subfam. nov., containing Leptopsalis and Miopsalis. The subfamily sensu strictu Stylocellinae contains the remaining two genera: Stylocellus and Meghalaya

Abstract:
This paper describes shortly a revival movement in Nias island. In the early part of the 20th century, a remarkable movement of the Holy Spirit took place on the small island of Nias, off the northeast coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Its main mark was the turning of many thousands to the Lord and causing the church to go into deep repentance. Therefore, the movement has been called fangesa dodo, the great repentance. In this paper, first under consideration, will be the people and the land, then the background of the church in Nias, some precedents of Revival, and finally the course of revival movements. All studies in this paper are written in order to gain an understanding and an appreciation of how the Holy Spirit has been working in the stream of human life.

Abstract:
"It is now recognized that the ""cancer experience"" extends beyond diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care. Relative to individuals who have not faced a cancer diagnosis, cancer survivors report increased mental health concerns and lowered physical and psychological well-being (Langeveld et al., 2004). Health-related quality of life encompasses overall physical (e.g., energy, fatigue, pain, etc.) and psychological functioning (e.g., emotional well-being, etc.), as well as general health perceptions (Hays & Morales, 2001). Nayak and colleagues (2017) reported that 82.3% of cancer patients had below-average quality of life scores, with the lowest scores found in the general, physical, and psychological well-being domains. Research suggests that various positive lifestyle variables, including social connectedness, leisure activity, and mindfulness practices are associated with increased quality of life in cancer patients (Courtens et al., 1996; Fangel et al., 2013; Garland et al., 2017). In this study, 350 cancer survivors completed an online questionnaire package that included a detailed demographic questionnaire with medical and online support and leisure activity questions. Additional measures were included to assess quality of life (QLQ-C30; Aaronson et al., 1993), social connectedness (Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale for Adults, SELSA-S; DiTommaso et al., 2004), and mindfulness (Adolescent and Adult Mindfulness Scale, AAMS; Droutman et al., 2018). Results show that increased QOL is predicted by increased medical support, lower family loneliness, self-acceptance, and engaging in a variety of leisure activities. Encouraging family support, including the patient in the decision-making process, encouraging a variety of physically possible leisure activities, and normalizing negative emotions surrounding diagnosis and disease symptoms are all ways that overall QoL can be improved."
