Abstract:

Abstract:
Flaubert undeniably represents a fascinating case with regard to stereotyping, especially if one considers not only his masterpiece, Madame Bovary, but also his last volume, left unfinished in perhaps a symbolic way, Bouvard et Pécuchet, and the collections of clichés included in his Dictionnaire des idées reçues and Le Sottisier. What is prosaic is important for the novelist. Moreover, in his Correspondence we find a real and fascinating interest in the topic of the cliché. A key sentence concerning what is commonplace suggestively describes Charles Bovary’s conversation: “Charles’ conversation was as flat as a pavement, and people’s ideas paraded on it in their ordinary outfit, without vibrating with emotion, with laughter or with daydreaming” (my translation). Essentially, our aim is to dwell on language and gesture stereotypes as presented in some of Flaubert’s novels as well as in the short story Un cœur simple (A Simple Heart) and even in his travel notes. Furthermore, through the agency of Jean-Paul Sartre’s ample work L’Idiot de la famille (The Family Idiot), it is our aim to look into the language mechanisms which lead to mal du siècle in Flaubert’s view, namely the stupidity of wanting a conclusion and the circulation of received ideas.

Abstract:
Abstract: This paper analyses the current existing models of “civil unions” in comparative perspective with a view to identify the conditions for their exportability. Their exportability is also a ground for identifying the most suitable model for a pos-sible future harmonisation of civil unions and, in this respect, to verify whether, following a Scandinavian trend, the traditional marriage, transmuted into a marriage between two neutral beings, could represent such model. Four main governmental attitudes towards homosexual couples offer at present a fertile ground for conflicts of laws, whose content is explored with special reference to Switzerland, Italy and to the European Area of Freedom, Justice and Security. Ensuring full international harmony of solutions implies renouncing to basic social policy principles on family law, when these are incompatible with the model whose import is demanded by the individuals concerned. Hence, compromise solutions are found to ensure at least a partial harmony through the recognition of some of the effects attached to the foreign status, if the latter cannot be considered equivalent to a correspondent domestic one. The limping unions that result are often far from unpredictable, and rather enshrine a political vision aimed at influencing legislative policies. Keywords: homosexual couples, matrimonial property, civil unions, recognition of foreign acts, and equivalence.

Abstract:
There is ample evidence that families are important in supporting the development of giftedness in children. Although there has been a great deal of research addressing individual and school factors in promoting giftedness, the role of parents and caregivers is comparatively underresearched, particularly in Australia. This study investigated the ways in which parents supported their children’s development, drawing on the educational and learning capital framework within the Actiotope Model of Giftedness. A qualitative design was adopted and semistructured interviews were conducted with 32 parents and caregivers. The data demonstrated that parents draw on all 10 educational and learning resources in creating favorable environments to support their children’s development.

Abstract:
The conventional approach in molecular replacement is the use of a related structure as a search model. However, this is not always possible as the availability of such structures can be scarce for poorly characterized families of proteins. In these cases, alternative approaches can be explored, such as the use of small ideal fragments that share high, albeit local, structural similarity with the unknown protein. Earlier versions of AMPLE enabled the trialling of a library of ideal helices, which worked well for largely helical proteins at suitable resolutions. Here, the performance of libraries of helical ensembles created by clustering helical segments is explored. The impacts of different B-factor treatments and different degrees of structural heterogeneity are explored. A 30% increase in the number of solutions obtained by AMPLE was observed when using this new set of ensembles compared with the performance with ideal helices. The boost in performance was notable across three different fold classes: transmembrane, globular and coiled-coil structures. Furthermore, the increased effectiveness of these ensembles was coupled to a reduction in the time required by AMPLE to reach a solution. AMPLE users can now take full advantage of this new library of search models by activating the `helical ensembles' mode.

Abstract:
This study examines the coping capacities of families during the Covid-19 lockdown in relation to their material and social resources. Specifically, we examine (1) how familial modes of living changed during the lockdown; (2) how the affected families coped with these changes; and (3) how families’ coping strategies were influenced by their social and material capital. We analyze problem centered interviews with 30 families and the ego-centered networks of these families, conducted in spring 2020 and autumn 2021. Our typology shows that inequalities increased in the pandemic. In families that had both strong networks and ample material security, the crisis had only a minor impact on how they lived their everyday lives. By contrast, families that had neither supportive networks nor sufficient material resources felt vulnerable during the crisis, and threatened to break down. Families that had either support from their networks or greater material security were able to cope only with great effort.

We study families of rational curves on irreducible holomorphic symplectic varieties. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a sufficiently ample linear system on a holomorphic symplectic variety of $K3^{[n]}$ -type to contain a uniruled divisor covered by rational curves of primitive class. In particular, for any fixed $n$ , we show that there are only finitely many polarization types of holomorphic symplectic variety of $K3^{[n]}$ -type that do not contain such a uniruled divisor. As an application, we provide a generalization of a result due to Beauville–Voisin on the Chow group of $0$ -cycles on such varieties.

Abstract:
Molecular replacement (MR) is the predominant route to solution of the phase problem in macromolecular crystallography. Where the lack of a suitable homologue precludes conventional MR, one option is to predict the target structure using bioinformatics. Such modelling, in the absence of homologous templates, is called ab initio or de novo modelling. Recently, the accuracy of such models has improved significantly as a result of the availability, in many cases, of residue-contact predictions derived from evolutionary covariance analysis. Covariance-assisted ab initio models representing structurally uncharacterized Pfam families are now available on a large scale in databases, potentially representing a valuable and easily accessible supplement to the PDB as a source of search models. Here, the unconventional MR pipeline AMPLE is employed to explore the value of structure predictions in the GREMLIN and PconsFam databases. It was tested whether these deposited predictions, processed in various ways, could solve the structures of PDB entries that were subsequently deposited. The results were encouraging: nine of 27 GREMLIN cases were solved, covering target lengths of 109–355 residues and a resolution range of 1.4–2.9 Å, and with target–model shared sequence identity as low as 20%. The cluster-and-truncate approach in AMPLE proved to be essential for most successes. For the overall lower quality structure predictions in the PconsFam database, remodelling with Rosetta within the AMPLE pipeline proved to be the best approach, generating ensemble search models from single-structure deposits. Finally, it is shown that the AMPLE-obtained search models deriving from GREMLIN deposits are of sufficiently high quality to be selected by the sequence-independent MR pipeline SIMBAD. Overall, the results help to point the way towards the optimal use of the expanding databases of ab initio structure predictions.

AbstractLet $(X,D)$ be a dlt pair, where $X$ is a normal projective variety. We show that any smooth family of canonically polarized varieties over $X\setminus \,{\rm Supp}\lfloor D \rfloor $ is isotrivial if the divisor $-(K_X+D)$ is ample. This result extends results of Viehweg–Zuo and Kebekus–Kovács. To prove this result we show that any extremal ray of the moving cone is generated by a family of curves, and these curves are contracted after a certain run of the minimal model program. In the log Fano case, this generalizes a theorem by Araujo from the klt to the dlt case. In order to run the minimal model program, we have to switch to a $\mathbb Q$-factorialization of $X$. As $\mathbb Q$-factorializations are generally not unique, we use flops to pass from one $\mathbb Q$-factorialization to another, proving the existence of a $\mathbb Q$-factorialization suitable for our purposes.

Abstract:
We study questions surrounding cup-product maps which arise from pairs of non-degenerate line bundles on an abelian variety. Important to our work is Mumford's index theorem which we use to prove that non-degenerate line bundles exhibit positivity analogous to that of ample line bundles. As an application we determine the asymptotic behavior of families of cup-product maps and prove that vector bundles associated to these families are asymptotically globally generated. To illustrate our results we provide several examples. For instance, we construct families of cup-product problems which result in a zero map on a one-dimensional locus. We also prove that the hypothesis of our results can be satisfied, in all possible instances, by a particular class of simple abelian varieties. Finally, we discuss the extent to which Mumford's theta groups are applicable in our more general setting.

The main purpose of the current research is to identify the coping strategies adopted by the parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The birth of a child with a disability, who strays from the ideal and does not correspond to the expectations of parents causes a shock, which triggers an ample and complex mourning process. Within families in the constellation of which there is a child with autism, a series of stressors and tensions manifests plenarily, difficulties arise, and that is why, for the stress and the diagnosis in itself to be managed as correctly as possible and to the benefit of the child, but also of the family, certain coping strategies are employed. The manner in which the parents choose to manage the stress, the manner in which they adopt and implement a certain coping strategy, the existing connection between coping strategies, and the stages of mourning are main aspects that will be treated in the current research.

Despite the ample literature on crime and violence, little research has been done outside English-speaking developed countries. Colombia has one of the highest homicide rates in the world. In order to identify individual factors related to resilience and vulnerability for violence and offending behavior in Colombia, we explored the life histories of 46 young men from high-risk families and compared those who had committed an offense to those who did not (resilient). The findings show that resilient men (compared to offenders) in Colombia have been less exposed to serious life stress, perceive stronger support from their families, narrate their past histories with greater detail and affect, and perceive greater degrees of control and coherence in their lives. The results are consistent with the existing literature and are interpreted within the framework of attachment theory.

Abstract Sibling relationships are some of the longest-lasting relationships people experience, providing ample opportunities to build connections across the life span. For siblings and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), these connections take on an increased significance as their families age and parents can no longer provide care. This article presents findings from a qualitative study that addresses the question, “How do siblings support each other after parents no longer can provide care to the person with IDD?” Findings in this study suggest that siblings with and without disabilities experience reciprocity as a transitive exchange, which occurs through the creation of social capital in their families and community, and that nondisabled siblings mobilize their social capital to provide support to their sibling after parents pass away. Implications for future research as well as policy and practice are discussed.

Abstract:
Nothapodytes nimmoniana has attained international focus recently due to the occurrence of an important group of alkaloids, camptothecin and its derivates. Efforts are being made to domesticate this species for its large scale cultivation for realization of economic utilization by the industries. However, there is a paucity of information on the degree and extent of genetic control for any traits in this species. In this background an experiment was conducted to assess the variation for fruits and seed traits among half-sib families. Half sib families obtained from ten open pollinated individuals of N. nimmoniana from a natural population at Joida, Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka, South India were studied. Significant among-family variation was recorded for all the seed traits studied. Half-sib families also showed significant difference for seed germination and seedling vigour characteristics. Families with large and bold seeds showed higher germination and better seedling growth. Largest genotypic co-efficient of variation was observed for plant height (45.25%), while percent seed germination recorded maximum heritability (H2= 0.92). The results suggested that there is ample scope for genetic improvement of Nothapodytes nimmoniana through family selection.

It did so with surprising certainty, without troubling the ECJ with a preliminary reference. But it is hard to imagine a matter less acte clair, or more in need of clarification and consistency at EU level. There is ample reasonable doubt on the matter, strongly suggesting that the Supreme Court breached its duty to refer.Very little of what the ECJ did say in Zambrano was clear – never mind what it did not say.

AbstractThis article seeks to measure and explain interprovincial differences in inequality and poverty reduction since the 1980s for non-elderly Canadian families. These variations are compared with dissimilarities among the advanced capitalist welfare states, where they are large. Interprovincial discrepancies are shown to be ample by this international standard. The article also finds that power resources theory, which draws attention to the role of union strength and partisan incumbency in explaining welfare state variations, accounts for an important part of these interprovincial differences. These findings suggest that sub-national jurisdictions can be more consequential for welfare state outcomes than comparative research has acknowledged, and that power resources accounts deserve more attention in Canadian social policy scholarship.

Total 210 fodder plants species belonging to 70 families, 164 genera of different habits such as trees (35%), shrubs (31%), herbs (25%), and climbers (9%), were recorded. Out of 70 families, 12 dominant families were Poaceae (18 species), followed by Fabaceae (16 species), Moraceae (10 species), Rosaceae (10 species), Asteraceae (8 species), Euphorbiaceae (7 species), Mimosaceae (6 species), Caesalpinaceae (5 species), Ranunculaceae (5 species), Rhamnaceae (5 species), Urticaceae (5 species) and Rubiaceae (5 species). Of the total recorded species, 41% of the species were used during winter days, 38% during summer and 21% throughout the year. For each species, scientific and vernacular names, multipurpose uses (Fuel, medicinal, timber, agricultural tools, religious and fiber) were used. For the conservation of fodder plant species prioritization, mass multiplication with afforestation, reforestation and forest rehabilitation must be done.International Journal of EnvironmentVolume-6, Issue-4, Sep-Nov 2017, page: 1-27

Abstract:
Nurse educators have the responsibility to create learning experiences centered on the scientific and praxis foci of the nursing discipline to advance nursing practice with families. Although the nursing profession has ample knowledge about the importance of family nursing and the value of family-focused actions, there is a lack of curricular and teaching models that address nursing practice with families in numerous courses and learning experiences. This article describes the development of a family-focused undergraduate curriculum and teaching–learning practices at Minnesota State University, Mankato in the United States. A vision and mission centered on the nursing of families, a family care teaching model, a framework of family constructs, and taxonomy of significant learning strategies guided faculty in creating learner-centered experiences. Course objectives, competencies, and teaching–learning practices in this curriculum are described. This manuscript may guide the development of innovative teaching–learning practices that integrate family nursing constructs and family nursing actions from a variety of family nursing models and theories. Initial evaluation suggests that this curriculum can increase students’ knowledge of family and instill a passion for family care in undergraduate programs.

Abstract:
Background and Objectives: Leadership positions in academic medicine lack racial and gender diversity. In 2016, the Council of Academic Family Medicine (CAFM) established a Leadership Development Task Force to specifically address the lack of diversity among leadership in academic family medicine, particularly for underrepresented minorities and women. approach: The task force was formed in August 2016 with members from each of the CAFM organizations representing diversity of race, gender, and academic position. The group met from August 2016 to December 2017. The task force reviewed available leadership development programming, and through consensus identified common pathways toward key leadership positions in academic family medicine—department chairs, program directors, medical student education directors, and research directors. consensus development: The task force developed a model that describes possible pathways to several leadership positions within academic family medicine. Additionally, we identified the intentional use of a multidimensional mentoring team as critically important for successfully navigating the path to leadership. Conclusions: There are ample opportunities available for leadership development both within family medicine organizations and outside. That said, individuals may require assistance in identifying and accessing appropriate opportunities. The path to leadership is not linear and leaders will likely hold more than one position in each of the domains of family medicine. Development as a leader is greatly enhanced by forming a multidimensional team of mentors.

Abstract:
In 2014, Family Medicine for America’s Health (FMAHealth) began implementing a specialty-wide strategic plan. The FMAHealth Board of Directors created an Engagement Tactic Team and charged the team with two major objectives: (1) to engage patients as partners in transforming primary care, and (2) to strengthen working alliances with other primary care professions and key stakeholders to speak with a unified voice for primary care. The team’s first objective sought to engage patients as partners to achieve the triple aim. The second objective required the team to explore how best to collaborate with others to align on core values of high-functioning primary care. When it comes to realizing the promise of patient-centered care, aspirational strategic objectives are often easier to declare than to implement. As the team grappled with its charge, it discovered that the approach to achieving each objective became as important as the actions required to accomplish them. The team recognized the value of taking ample time to build an approach to delivering patient-centered care that could be sustained and scaled over time to achieve the two objectives. The team ultimately settled on three projects that leveraged collaborative partnerships with organizations inside and outside the specialty to better understand and advance patient-centered care at three levels: practice transformation, organizational governance, and policy making.

Abstract:
The article provides a brief overview of the main legislative acts that became the normative basis for social security for the families of workers and peasants in post-revolutionary Russia. The most difficult socio-economic situation caused by the social upheavals of the beginning of the 20th century directly affected the everyday life of Soviet residents who had a priority need of food, providing medical treatment and medicines, receiving social benefits in case of tough living situations and other difficulties in the field of state support for large and single parent families, etc. The author focuses on the contribution of public organizations that provided strong assistance to Soviet workers in solving pressing problems in everyday life in the first two decades of the Soviet power. The analysis of the normative framework showed that despite the sufficiently developed social sphere, not all areas of social security had received ample funding, or the State requirements for social assistance measures had not been met. Nevertheless, we can talk about a wide range of social services that could be used by residents of the country, especially children, adolescents, and elderly people. The study provides a general picture of the government policy of the Soviet state on the social security of the family in 1917–1936.

Abstract:
In 2014, this research was conducted at the Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice, Poland. It was based on different red raspberry seed treatments with sulfuric acid during the scarification process. The seeds were obtained from crosses among ten parental forms, producing 55 hybrid families. During scarification, the seeds were subjected to concentrated sulfuric acid for 20, 30 and 40 minutes. Assessment of the germinated seeds, performed 2.5 months after the sowing, revealed different effects of the seed origin/pedigree and the applied scarification treatments. The best seed germination was recorded for the hybrid families where ‘Radziejowa’ (56.5% of germinated seeds), ‘Laszka’ (63.9%) and ‘Sokolica’ (73.5%) were the maternal forms, and the poorest one – where ‘Polana’ (6.2% of germinated seeds), ‘Glen Ample’ (32.5%) and ‘Canby’ (33.1%) were used as the maternal cultivars. The highest germination, on average for all the hybrid families, was obtained for seeds treated with H2SO4 for 30 min (45.3% of germinated seeds), and the lowest when the seeds were treated with H2SO4 for 40 min (35.6%).

Abstract:
Many generalizations of soft topology were studied in the literature, an infra soft topology is the recent one of these generalizations. In this paper, we put on view two classes of soft separation axioms in the frame of infra soft topologies, namely infra pp-soft Tj and infra pt-soft Tj-spaces (j = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4). Both of them are formulated with respect to distinct ordinary points such that the first class defined using partial belong and partial non-belong relations, and the second one defined using partial belong and total non-belong relations. Following systematic lines of this type of study, we first show the relationships between them with the aid of examples. We also establish main properties and explore their behaviour under some special types of infra soft topologies. Transmission of these classes between infra soft topology and its parametric infra topologies are amply studied. Moreover, we scrutinize their features in terms of hereditary and topological properties, and finite product of soft spaces.

Abstract:
The possibility of increasing in raspberry fruit firmness as the limiting indicator of variety aptitude to mechanized harvesting of berries as well as long-term transportation and storage have been considered in the article. The objects of research were 23 raspberry varieties of domestic and foreign breeding, 16 selected forms, as well as their offspring from controlled crossings and populations from free pollination. The evaluation of firmness characteristics was carried out at the hybrid plot and the plot of competitive varietal trials in the period from 2016 to 2018. The berries from each variety and an elite seedling were collected in a state of full maturity in triple frequency. The number of berries in each frequency was 10 pieces. There were took 10 berries in the optimum degree of maturity of the hybrid offspring from each seedling. The effort to crush the berries was determined using torsion weights and transferred to international units –Newton; the separation force was determined with the help of a pistol-dynamometer. The weather conditions of the research period were contrasting, which allowed evaluating more objectively the collection and selection material of raspberries on the fruit firmness. The evaluation of the parent forms of raspberries by the effort of crushing the berries allowed revealing the sources of increasedthe fruit strength – varieties Glen Ample, Cascade Delight, Peresvet, Lazcka, Gusar and the selected form 2-90-2. The “crush effort” indicator of the fruits of these forms over the research period was not lower than 5.0 N and was less affected by weather conditions. The analysis of the hybrid offspring of raspberries from controlled crossings and populations from free pollination showed the polygenic character of inheritance of the trait. The promising parent forms for breeding to increase the berry firmness – varieties Glen Ample and Gusar, as well as the selected form 2-8-3 have been identified. Among the studied hybrid combinations, the families of Tarusa x 2-8-3, Gusar x Vol’nitsa, as well as the populations from free pollination of Glen Ample and Gusar varieties are of the greatest interest. In the offspring of these genotypes the transgressive seedlings with effort of crushing of fruits more than 6.0 Н have been revealed.

Abstract:
Background: School nurses are key professionals in helping to safeguard, support and improve outcomes for children and young people. Aim: The aim of this article is to explore the subject of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in relation to safeguarding and the vital role the school nurse can play in supporting the building of resilience in children and young people (CYP) and their families. Methods: A critical review of the literature was undertaken, considering the role of the school nurse within the safeguarding arena, adverse childhood experiences, collaborative and multi-agency work. The legal, policy and professional frameworks underpinning safeguarding and public health practice are also critically examined. Findings: There is ample evidence demonstrating the potential effects of ACEs on the health and wellbeing of children and young people. There is also research proposing that ACEs should not be viewed in isolation and are not necessarily in themselves deterministic of negative outcomes. School nurses have an important role in early interventions with families to promote resilience and help keep children safe. Conclusion: The implication of this article is that with sound knowledge and understanding regarding ACEs, the school nurse can play a vital role as part of the wider team in building the resilience of the community, provide therapeutic interventions and early intervention, and thereby help to safeguard, support, and improve outcomes for CYP and their families.

Abstract:
This article explores the emergence of ‘diaspora orphans’ over the course of Zimbabwe’s crisis. The debates over this phenomenon reflect a range of real emotional and practical problems encountered by children and youth with parents abroad. But they also highlight the ambiguity of moral judgments of emigration and émigrés, and the crisis of expectation that assumptions of diaspora wealth have fostered within families and among those remaining behind. The negative stereotyping of ‘diaspora orphans’ reflects the moral discourse circulating within families, schools and society more broadly, which is revealing for the light it sheds on unfolding debates over changing parenting, gender, and extended family obligations as these have been challenged by crisis and mass exodus. The article furthers understanding of transnational parenting, particularly the perspectives of those who fulfil substitute parental caring roles for children left behind, and of the moral dimensions of debates over the role of money and material goods in intimate relationships of care for children. It adds a new strand to debates over African youths by focusing not on the problems created through entrapment by poverty, but on the emotional consequences of parents’ spatial mobility in middle class families where material resources may be ample. The article is based on interviews with adults looking after children and youths left behind (maids, siblings, grandparents and single parents), and the reflections of teachers and ‘diaspora orphans’ themselves.

Abstract:
The P450 enzymes maintain a conserved P450 fold despite a considerable variation in sequence. The P450 family even includes proteins that lack the single conserved cysteine and are therefore no longer haem-thiolate proteins. The mechanisms of successive gene duplications leading to large families in plants and animals are well established. Comparisons of P450 CYP gene clusters in related species illustrate the rapid changes in CYPome sizes. Examples of CYP copy number variation with effects on fitness are emerging, and these provide an opportunity to study the proximal causes of duplication or pseudogenization. Birth and death models can explain the proliferation of CYP genes that is amply illustrated by the sequence of every new genome. Thus, the distribution of P450 diversity within the CYPome of plants and animals, a few families with many genes (P450 blooms) and many families with few genes, follows similar power laws in both groups. A closer look at some families with few genes shows that these, often single member families, are not stable during evolution. The enzymatic prowess of P450 may predispose them to switch back and forth between metabolism of critical structural or signal molecules and metabolism dedicated to environmental response.

Abstract:
The culture of living in a nuclear family setting, a norm of modernisation, has been badly shaken by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This hit has created many pauses and changes in women's lives who live in nuclear families with the responsibility of taking care of very young children. Despite the various discussions related to women during the pandemic, there seem to be negligible efforts to understand the lived reality of nuclear family women having the responsibility of child care. The idea of living in this type of family is based on the thinking that it provides ample opportunity to develop individual talents and lead an unrestricted life. However, it can have a very adverse effect on women and children during the pandemic due to the closure of essential support systems such as child care centres and schools. Thus, this situation has a negative effect on the lives of women, which in turn, affects their young children's lives too. This study explored the lived experiences of a purposively selected sample of six women regarding challenges to deal with an office job, domestic work, and child care during the ongoing pandemic. Data were generated by conducting the telephonic semi-structured interview and thematic analysis was used to analyse the data. Results indicate the curtailment of freedom and choices, adverse impact on the mental and physical health of women and their children.

Abstract Given its peculiarities, terminality highlights the need for an individualization of the therapeutic plan and integrality of assistance in health care. This article analyzed 23 scientific publications with thematics related to terminality and palliative care and discussed the therapeutic approach to the terminally ill patient and the incorporation of different integral practices in health. We sought to evidence that recognizing the characteristics of terminality makes it possible to establish the adequate prognostic study and implement a plan of care that supplies the necessities of the terminally ill patient, with care based of bioethical principles, respecting the will and particularities of the individual. We conclude that the palliative care constitutes an important instrument in managing biopsychosocial and spiritual angst of terminally ill people, by making ample assistance in care possible, promoting dignity, minimizing suffering, and bettering the quality of life of these patients and their families.

Abstract:
This study aimed to analyze trends of South Korean working women’s childbearing intentions to provide directions for strategies to increase South Korea’s birth rate. This study used the data generated by the Korean Longitudinal Panel Survey of Women and Families in South Korea from 2007 to 2016, and included 2,341 working women. This study showed that female workers’ intention to bear children is decreasing. In 2007, age and the number of children were considered in predicting the characteristics of those with childbearing intentions. In 2016, the provision of maternity leave at work, job satisfaction regarding relationships and communication, and work-family conflicts were added. When identifying the factors by category, the impact level of occupational factors increased, although the impact level of individual factors decreased. There should be a balance between work and family roles, and employers should provide ample maternity leave and promote an organizational culture that supports job satisfaction.

Abstract:
Ample research suggests that the links between higher education and heath are robust and growing in strength. This research, however, tends to assume education was completed prior to assuming other adult roles. Importantly, the life course framework raises the question of whether “out-of-sequence” college completion conveys similar health returns. I investigate this question among a population for whom out-of-sequence schooling has grown more common: lower-educated mothers. This focus is also important given the growing education gap in women’s health and the links between maternal and child health. Data come from the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study (N = 4,898). Analyses involve random intercept and fixed effects models and diverse health measures. Findings suggest that postsecondary education does not improve mother’s health, except for reduced smoking among mothers with high school degrees or less that earned bachelor’s degrees. These findings inform health policy debates and theories linking education to health.

Data collection occurred in December 2016 and December 2017, through the use of pitfall traps and nocturnal manual collection with the help of ultraviolet torches. 86 individuals were collected, pertaining to nine species, grouped into two families. The Bothriuridae represented 71% of samples, with Bothriurus sp. 1 occurring at all sample altitudes. Whereas, the Buthidae represente 29% of samples, with Ananteris sp, the most represented species, occurring at altitudes of 1,000m and 1,076m and Tityus stigmurus inhabiting areas with extensive human presence. The ample diversity found in the PESP, reveals that this location can be considered representative of the scorpiofauna of Bahia and of the Caatinga, especially due to the lack of data available on scorpions in semi-arid environments.

Abstract:
In present study, we present data on tree diversity, stand structures and community composition in six sites of tropical forest in Rajaji tiger reserve, Northern India. The enumeration of 72 plots results a total of 19,050 individuals, 47 species, 42 genera, 25 families in which Holoptelia integrifolea, Dalbergia sissoo, Shorea robusta, Cassia fistula and Trewia nudiflora were the species which showed higher importance value index (IVI) in the study area. The stand density of the six sites ranges from 149.99 - 397.91 hac-1 where as the total basal area of trees ranges from 3.612 - 46.813 m2/hac-1. The Shannon diversity index ranged from 1.35 to 2.51, Simpson index ranged from 0.097 - 0.446, Margalef index ranged 2.584 - 4.9, The Evenness index ranged from 0.551 - 0.852 in the study area. Further the studied area has showed ample evidences from indices in supporting the higher floristic diversity and stand structure after providing the present area as a status of tiger reserve.

Abstract:
There is ample evidence to show that people with intellectual disabilities (ID) face an increased risk of being socially excluded. The longer life expectancy of persons with ID carries new challenges. In this paper, we report on a follow-up case study of three Finnish women with ID. The women were interviewed twice (in 1995 and in 2013) and relationship maps were drawn pursuant to the interviews. In all three cases, the density of the relationship maps had decreased. In two cases, intimate relationships had remained or become even closer. In one case, intimate relationships were fewer. External services were inadequate in supporting the women to maintain their social relationships. Resources in the immediate families were decisive in determining their life course which was burdened by several extra obstacles. Some of these obstacles could possibly have been prevented if there had been a more permanent support system. The advantages and disadvantages of service and support paradigms are discussed.

Abstract:
This article examines the effects of China’s household registration ( hukou) system, which divides the population into rural and urban sectors with differential benefits and entitlements, on the link between intergenerational social mobility and people’s well-being. Using China General Social Surveys of 2005 and 2011, we find that upward mobility has a similarly positive effect in the urban and the rural sectors but downward mobility has a markedly negative effect chiefly in the rural sector. We propose a thesis of ‘asymmetrical permeability’ to account for the findings. In the context of rapid economic development and staggering institutional reform, the upwardly mobile in both sectors enjoy ample socio-economic resources as provided by the advantaged destination classes whereas the downwardly mobile depend very much on the hukou status they have. In the urban but not rural sector, families in advantaged positions are able to protect the downwardly mobile offspring in their well-being. It is therefore the differences in the hukou system that explain the differential acculturation.
