Abstract:
The origin-destination (OD) matrices express the number and the pattern of trips distributed between OD pairs. OD matrix structural comparison can be used to identify different mobility patterns in the cities. A comparison of two OD matrices could express their difference from both numerical and structural aspects. Limited methods, such as the mean structural similarity (MSSIM) index and geographical window-based structural similarity index (GSSI), have been developed to compare the structural similarity (SSIM) of two matrices. These methods calculate the structural similarities of two OD matrices by grouping the OD pairs into local windows. The obtained results from the MSSIM entirely depend on the dimensions of the chosen windows. Meanwhile, the GSSI method only focuses on the geographical adjacency and correlation of zones while selecting local windows. Accordingly, this paper developed a novel method named Socioeconomy, Land-use, and Population Structural Similarity Index (SLPSSI) in which local windows are selected according to socioeconomic, land-use, and population properties for SSIM comparison of OD matrices. The proposed method was tested on Tehran’s OD matrix extracted from cell phone Geographic Position System (GPS) data. The advantage of this method over two previous ones was observed in determining the new pattern of trips on local windows and more precise detection of SSIM of the weekdays. The SLPSSI approach is up to 10 percent more accurate than the MSSIM method and up to 5.5 percent more accurate than the GSSI method. The proposed method also had a better performance on sparse OD matrices. It is capable of better determining the SSIM of sparse OD matrices by up to 8% compared with the GSSI method. Finally, the sensitivity analysis results indicate that the suggested method is robust and reliable since it is sensitive to applying both constant and random coefficients.

Modern society is an information society through media, which has a great effect on human behavior, and this social flow also has a great influence on people's sports activities. In other words, people can acquire information about sports that they want anywhere and anytime, can express their opinions, and can form groups with people who have same interest due to the development of wireless internet and smart phones. In addition, the immersion in media sports is influential as a major factor of sports activities. The immersion on the internet is defined as an important criterion of consumers' spontaneous interest and as what includes individuals' pleasure, mental stimulation and awareness of interest. The immersion in media sports is connected to loyalty. The loyalty, which is a factor that affects the decision of human behaviors, means favorable attitudinal and mental attachment. It means the loyalty is preceded until sports activities are performed through media sports. Therefore, this study is intended to reveal the effects of media immersion by media sports involving experiences on sports participation. This study is intended to reveal the effects of media immersion by media sports involving experiences on sports participation. For this study, total 300 participants in their 20s ~ 30s including 150 males and 150 females who experienced media sports using smart phones were selected with the convenience sampling method. Prior to the survey, their media sports involving experiences using smart phones were confirmed. For the questionnaire completion method, self-administration method was used. For analysis of data, the data with answers of questionaries completed were collected, valid samples are coded according to the coding manual with double entry and no entry excluded, the coded data were entered into computer individually, and then frequency analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were done with the use of SPSS Windows 18.0 Version statistical program. The results of the study are as follows. First, the immersion of media sports has a partial effect on sports loyalty. Second, the immersion of media sports has a partial effect on sports activities. Third, the high sports loyalty has a partial effect on sports activities.

Abstract:
We propose a programming system for calculation of economical standards of regulating banking activity by means of Euclidian and interval arithmetic using mobile gadgets. The program was created by means of Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Express for Windows Phone using C#. The feature of this programming system is the possibility to be used anywhere: during business negotiations, in the absence of PCs and WiFi, etc. For its application, one needs a smartphone with Android operation system. The smartphone needs to have a capacitive screen with multi-touch input with the possibility of more than four touches at once. The size of the screen can vary, but the resolution must be 480*480 pixels. During the progress, the system calculates the indicators of banking activity approved by National bank of Ukraine. Using of the interval arithmetic gives the possibility to analyse the financial status of the bank under any conditions. The comparison of the results of arithmetical operations by using the axioms of classical and nonstandard interval analysis was carried out. The criterion of the efficiency is the value of the relative change of the final interval of the calculations that were carried out using the axioms of the nonstandard interval analysis related to the same calculations that were carried out using the axioms of the classical interval analysis. For efficiency comparison we choose standard indicators that define the financial safety of the bank. The results of the calculations show that the intervals defined according to the rules of the nonstandard interval mathematics have the size of the interval 12-90% less than the intervals calculated according to the rules of the classical interval mathematics.

Användare kan idag boka taxi via TaxiCaller på webben, iPhone och Android. De vill även finnas på Windows Phone 8 och därmed stödja de tre största smartphoneplattformarna. Den här rapporten syftar till att undersöka hur en applikation kan utvecklas med hjälp av ett användarcentrerat arbetssätt för att uppnå hög användbarhet. Prototyping, card sort, användbarhetskrav är några av de metoder som tillämpats. Rapporten beskriver metoderna genom dess teori, hur de tillämpats i projektet samt dess resultat. Det grundläggande genomförandet var att samla in användarinformation för att sedan utveckla en prototyp som testades på användare. Sedan gjordes en ny prototyp utifrån resultatet från användartestet och denna process itererade fram fyra prototyper. Användbarhetsproblem från testerna samt tid för genomförande av specificerad uppgift redogörs. Resultatet är en prototyp för Windows Phone 8 som nästintill är helt färdig för publicering. Användartest är den metod som haft mest påverkan på resultatet av applikationen. Varje test har frambringat problem med användbarheten som sedan har kunnat åtgärdas för att förbättra applikationen. Med tanke på utvärderingar och de krav som specificerades är jag nöjd med resultatet som bland annat är avskalat och grafiskt tilltalande samtidigt som den önskade funktionaliteten från TaxiCaller är implementerad.

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to design and develop a cloud hosted service that allows developers of games for Windows Phone 7 platform to extend their products with social and competitive aspect using Platform as a Service solution Windows Azure for hosting the backend of this system. The first part of the thesis analyses systems that are available on the market and that are providing similar services for the target platform. Based on this analysis, functional and general requirements for the future application are specified in the second part. Based on these requirements, use case analysis is made. The third part of the thesis is dedicated to description of the most important features, APIs and specifics of the Windows Phone 7 software platform. The fourth part is dedicated to Windows Azure as a Cloud platform both in terms of most important services, their characteristics and APIs used to utilise them and in terms of their business and pricing conditions. The fifth part addresses the architecture and the most important implementation details of the application. The final part contains the user guide for both the Windows Phone 7 application and for developers interested in using the library containing the API during the development of their game. The output of this thesis is the designed and implemented application with client-server architecture ready to have its backend deployed in Windows Azure environment and to have its frontend deployed on Windows Phone 7 devices. The client part of the system is comprised of a library intended for developers of games, which encapsulates the API needed to access the backend on the Internet, and a graphic frontend intended for end users. The server part, which contains most of the application logic, has REST interface. The applications architecture allows future development in terms of new functionality and expansion on more client platforms.

Projektet som denna rapport beskriver hade som målsättning att utveckla två applikationer på beställning av företaget Teknikhuset Umeå. En av dessa applikationer skulle vara till Windows 8 plattformen och den andra till Windows Phone 8 plattformen. Applikationernas syfte var att ge användaren information om högtider från kyrkoåret med hjälp av information hämtad från Svenska Kyrkans kalender API (se Henrik Johanssons rapport). Denna rapport beskriver utformandet av användargrässnitten till dessa två plattformar. Syftet med rapporten är att undersöka hur utvecklaren kan bygga ett optimalt användargränssnitt för respektive plattform och samtidigt undersöka om det finns likheter i dessa två utvecklingsprocesser. Om likheter i utvecklingsprocessen observeras så kommer dessa dokumenteras för att i framtiden kunna effektivisera utvecklingsprocessen för applikationer avsedda för dessa två plattformar. Förutom att beskriva utformandet av gränssnitten så beskriver rapporten också relevanta delar av plattformarnas respektive användargränssnitt så att läsaren kan förstå resonemanget bakom de beslut som tagits vid utformandet av användargränssnittet. Projektet resulterade i två användarvänliga användargränssnitt, ett till en Windows Phone 8 applikation och ett till en Windows 8 applikation.

Jag har gjort mitt examensarbete på Synaptic AB i Stockholm. Synaptic är ett konsultföretag som jobbar mycket med Microsofts produkter och med mobila lösnignar. De har ett system där alla konsulter redovisar sin tid. Detta system har tidigare bara haft ett webbgränssnitt, men det har inte vart så praktiskt som man skulle önska. Mitt uppdrag har vart att utöka detta system med mobila klienter för att göra det lättare och snabbare för konsulterna att redovisa sin tid. Dessa applikationer har fått namnet Synaptic Time. Idag har detta system tre mobila klienter, en till varje av de vanligaste mobila plattformarna. En till Android, en andra till Windows Phone 7 och en tredje till iPhone/iOS5. Dessa har gjorts som tre fristående applikationer. Det vill säga att jag inte gjort någon generell lösning i HTML5 eller dylikt som körs på alla tre plattformar. Jag har då lärt mig att göra applikationer till alla tre enheter. Alla applikationer har samma grundläggande funktionalitet. Skapa nya poster, översikt per vecka, och ett läge för att ta tid när man jobbar som underlättar när man jobbar med flera olika projekt. Alla applikationer är publicerade på respektive marknad. Google Play, Windows Market och App Store.

Fler människor börjar använda olika mobila operativsystem i mobiltelefonen samt appar som enbart fungerar på plattformen. Det leder till att app-leverantörer måste utveckla varje app till varje specifik plattform vilket är dyrt. De vanligaste operativsystemen som används idag är Android samt IOS men hösten 2012 släpptes Windows Phone 8 vilket innebär ytterligare en plattform att ta hänsyn till. I sammarbete med företaget Sogeti Jönköping fokuserar studien på att hitta en metod som gör det möjligt att migrera appar mellan plattformar och till Windows Phone 8. Studien innefattar också att identifiera för och nackdelar med olika app-typer genom en litteraturstudie och intervjuer samt att testa om migrationsmetoderna fungerar praktisk genom en implementation. Resultatet har påvisat att det finns två stycken olika metoder för migration vilket är PhoneGap och Xamarin. Genom implementationstester har Xamarin visat sig vara mest lämplig att använda i ett framtida större app-projekt.
More people are starting to use different mobile operating systems in their mobile phones and apps that only work on the specific platform. This leads to app-developers must develop each app on each specific platform which is expensive. The most common operating systems today are Android and iOS, but during fall of 2012 Windows Phone 8 was released, which means yet another platform to consider. In cooperation with the company Sogeti Jönköping this study focuses on finding a method that makes it possible to migrate applications between platforms and Windows Phone 8. The study also includes identifying the pros and cons of different app-types through a literature review and interviews, as well as testing whether the migration methods work through a practical implementation. The results have shown that there are two different solutions to migration which is PhoneGap and Xamarin. Through implementation tests Xamarin was the most suitable for future app-projects.

This thesis has been performed at consulting firm Sweco Position in Jönköping. The thesis is divided into two main sections: theoretical and practical. The theoretical section contains an investigation into the possibilities of implementing a geographical information system (GIS) for administrations of wells with the integration of Bing Maps for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The practical work comprises the development of a prototype for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The students review the Model-View-ViewModel-pattern on a theoretical basis, compares the differences between Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT. The thesis also contains and investigation into the pros and cons of a web based application compared to a native one. The result of the thesis will be comprised of a GIS-service developed in C# in co-operation with XAML with the options of saving data locally and a WMS-based service layer for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
Detta examensarbete har utförts på konsultbolaget Sweco Position i Jönköping. Arbetet har varit uppdelat i två större delar: teoretiskt och praktiskt arbete.
