Abstract:
Man kann ein kleines Regal füllen mit den Arbeiten, die seit Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs zur politischen, kulturellen und nicht zuletzt geographischen Verortung Deutschlands zwischen Ost und West erschienen sind. Dabei fällt auf, dass die Verortung in diesen Beiträgen fast ausschließlich in Bezug auf den ,,Westen“ diskutiert wird, und dass sie sich fast ausschließlich auf die Debatte in der Bundesrepublik bezieht. Der 1990 erfolgte Beitritt des östlicheren Deutschland zur Bundesrepublik hat der Auseinandersetzung mit der Frage freilich nochmals Konjunktur beschert. Aber sowohl für die Bonner Republik als auch für das vereinte Deutschland ging es in diesen Diskussionen immer um den Westbezug – sei es im 1987 von Otmar Franz herausgegebenen Sammelband Europas Mitte oder in den von Jürgen Elvert und Michael Salewski bzw. Klaus Schwabe und Francesca Schinzinger 1993/94 besorgten Bänden Deutschland und der Westen, sei es in Anselm Doering-Manteuffels Wie westlich sind die Deutschen? von 1999, oder ab 2000 in Heinrich August Winklers zwei Bänden, um nur einige der größeren Arbeiten zu nennen.2 Das gilt auch für Publikationen nichtdeutscher Autoren wie z. B. David Blackbourns Essay Germany and the Birth of the Modern World, 1780–1820, der auf die dichten politischen und kulturellen Wechselwirkungen zwischen Deutschland und seinen westlichen Nachbarn eingeht.3 Wie sehr ,,der Westen“ ein Konstrukt ist, wird allerdings erst in dem von Riccardo Bavaj und Martina Steber 2015 herausgegebenen Band ,,Germany and ,the West‘“ breiter reflektiert. Die dort versammelten Autorinnen und Autoren analysieren die Genese von relevanten Begriffen, die seit dem 19. Jahrhundert in Deutschland und bei seinen Nachbarn Konjunktur hatten – der ,,Westen“, das ,,Abendland“, der ,,römisch-germanische Westen“, usw. – und sie gehen darauf ein, wie diese Begriffe in bestimmten politischen Strömungen benutzt wurden.4

Abstract:
Kurzfassung: Der Artikel setzt sich mit der Rolle der Bundesrepublik im internationalen Handel mit konventionellen Waffen auseinander. Dabei werden drei immer wieder zu vernehmende Behauptungen anhand der vorhandenen statistischen Daten und wissenschaftlichen Analysen überprüft: (1) Deutschland sei drittgrößter Exporteur von Waffen und Rüstungsgütern; (2) Deutschland sei weltweit der zweitgrößte Exporteur von Kleinwaffen; und (3) deutsche Rüstungsexporte würden zur Entstehung, zur Eskalation und Verlängerung von Kriegen sowie zu Rüstungswettläufen beitragen. Der Beitrag gelangt zu dem Ergebnis, dass keine dieser Behauptungen einer kritischen Prüfung standhält. Bedauerlich ist nur, wie sehr falsche Behauptungen und Unterstellungen selbst von seriösen Medien übernommen werden und in den politischen Diskurs eingehen.

Práce se zabývá problematikou podpory exportu v ČR se zaměřením na financování a pojišťování vývozu se státní podporou. První část charakterizuje současnou koncepci proexportní politiky ČR, kterou je Exportní strategie ČR na období 2006 - 2010. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na dvě proexportní instituce zajišťující financování a pojišťování vývozu se státní podporou. Jedná se o Českou exportní banku a Exportní a garanční pojišťovací společnost. Je zde rozebrána nabídka produktů a služeb těchto institucí a historie jejich vzniku. Závěrečná kapitola analyzuje činnost EGAP a ČEB od roku 2000 do roku 2005.

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám podporou exportu v České republice. Cílem práce je přiblížit čtenáři, jak funguje proexportní politika, jaký je její význam a účel. Zde se blíže věnuji i podpoře exportu malých a středních podniků, které v současnosti tvoří významný segment české ekonomiky. Ve své práci jsem se zaměřil na hlavní instituce zabývající se podporou exportu v České republice. Jedná se o Českou exportní banku, Exportní garanční a pojišťovací společnost a agenturu Czechtrade. U každé z těchto institucí jsem popsal jejich význam, historii, zaměření a služby, které nabízejí českým exportérům, aby měli možnost se prosadit na zahraničních trzích.

Abstract:
The problem of the Italian economy of last years is the low economic growth and international competitiveness crisis of it's productive system. In already so belated europian train is the Italian economy among the lasts wagons. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze Italian innovation policy and it's impact upon export. First chapter describes the term "innovation" and introduces the innovation policy in general. The second chapter analyzes contemporary economic characteristic of Italy in order to understand further issues, especially the development of essential macroeconomics indicators, the structure of Italian economy, the typology of firms and the anticrisis measures with the prediction of the further economic development. Third charter chapter analyzes contemporary main features of the Italian innovation policy: expenditures on reconstruction and development much like on education, describes human and risk capital, patents, scientific publications and technological balance of payments. It focuses also on the impact of the financial crisis upon the innovation activity, on the role of the government in the innovation policy, on it's evaluation with other europian countries and on the upcoming innovation strategies. The last fourth chapter concentrates on the analyze of influence of the innovation policy on the Italian's export. It focuses on the main govermental institutions concerned with export much like on the contemporary development of the Italian's commodity and territorial structure of export. The diploma thesis points out that Italy, as one of the moderate innovators, is not doing enough to become an innovation oriented economy. However Italian innovation policy is the most important instrument to reach this long term goal. Nevertheless Italy has maintained many reforms in its institutional basis or education system, there are still many shortcomings e.g. there is a strong need of evaluation of some old programs and further strengthening of innovation activity of small and medium sized enterprises, the same way as the increase of the government expenditures on all sectors of the innovation policy. The diploma thesis shows clearly that the innovation policy is one of the most important topics not only for Italy, but also for the rest of the world.

This thesis deals with the support of export and export financing, with a focus on international regulation of this area, namely the Consesus OECD, i.e. the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits. The paper describes the general background of this Arrangement and its requirements on the financial terms of provided export credits. The above mentioned is demonstrated on the concrete practice in the Czech Republic. The paper includes a detailed overview of the institutional framework of official support of export credits and the most important export credits parameters are illustrated by concise indicative offer of export financing. This thesis also summarizes the process and possible outcomes of current negotiations concerning the Consensus OECD and possible future cooperation with non-participant countries.

Abstract:
The main focus of this work is on hedging of currency risks with special emphasis on the case of Czech export. In the first chapter, I create a motivation for further studying of the problem. I describe the state of export industries and the economy as a whole and how these aspects are connected to the exchange rates. In the second chapter, I explain how firms create their assumptions about future exchange rates. I also run a Monte Carlo analysis on historical data and come with predictions of my own. In the third chapter, I am discussing the relevance of using VaR models for estimating the maximum possible loss of funds due to unwanted moves in the exchange rate. Furthermore, I describe various instruments usable for hedging of currency exposure including forwards, options, swaps and other derivatives. In the final chapter of this work, I am asking financial and sales directors of 51 Czech firms about how currency risks influence their businesses and how they protect themselves against these threats.

Pentru a înțelege care sunt sursele vulnerabilității comerțului exterior al Republicii Moldova, vom aplica o analiză cantitativă privind structura pe produse a exportului și importului țării pe baza modelului Herfindahl-Hirschman Index. Rezultatele analizei oferă informații suplimentare referitoare la originea și posibilitățile de diminuare a vulnerabilității comerțului exterior al Republicii Moldova.

O artigo desenvolveu uma ontologia como modelo de representação do conhecimento no campo de projetos de edificações na construção civil. Aplicou-se a metodologia de classificação dos componentes presentes no âmbito da ontologia e do seu universo em projetos de construção de edificações pelas ferramentas OntoKEM no desenvolvimento de perguntas competência, hierarquia e propriedades de classe. Após, exportou-se ao sistema Protégé 5.5.0 com definição das relações de classes, object properties, propriedade Inversa-funcional, ranges e disjoint. Resultando em grafos qualitativos com categorização dos nichos e níveis de projetos, para o controle e gerenciamento em uma entrega final de obra.

A tanulmány célja a lengyel áruexport 2004 és 2017 közötti változása elemzése eredményeinek a bemutatása, különös figyelemmel technológiai igényességére Az elemzés tárgya a lengyel kivitel nagyságának, valamint földrajzi- és áruszerkezetének változása. Ez a tanulmány megmutatja, mennyire sikerül Lengyelországnak felzárkóznia az Európai Unió vezető gazdaságaihoz, és mennyire messze van tőlük gazdaságilag. Az elemzést azzal az évvel kezdjük, amelyikbenr Lengyelország csatlakozott az Európai Unióhoz, és azzal az évvel fejezzük be, amelyről statisztikai adatok állnak rendelkezésre. A tanulmány korlátozott terjedelme miatt az áruk exportjára összpontosítunk, nem véve figyelembe a szolgáltatások exportját. Lemondunk az import elemzéséről is, csak arra korlátozzuk a vizsgálatát, hogyan változott a kereskedelmi mérleg egyenlege, amely – közvetett módon – megmutatja a lengyel export helyzetét.

Abstract:
Le débat public concernant l’avenir du mix énergétique français à l’horizon 2050 a longtemps été réduit à la seule considération de son volet électrique, dans une opposition entre énergie nucléaire et énergies renouvelables (EnR). Pourtant, la part non-électrique de notre consommation énergétique constitue clairement aujourd’hui un des principaux défis de la transition climatique et énergétique. Actuellement issue du pétrole, du gaz et du charbon, elle constitue l’angle mort des divers scénarios énergétiques disponibles, alors qu’elle restera encore indispensable, notamment dans le secteur de la mobilité et de la production de chaleur. Le Comité de prospective en énergie (CPE) de l’Académie des sciences examine ici les ressources énergétiques et carbonées pouvant être tirées de la biomasse, qui présente des atouts certains en permettant le stockage de l’énergie sous forme de biogaz ou de biocarburants, et les perspectives raisonnables offertes par celles-ci dans le mix énergétique national à l’horizon 2050. Le présent rapport se focalise sur les aspects scientifiques et technologiques, sans occulter certaines considérations environnementales, économiques, sociales, et de souveraineté nationale, abordés à la lumière de la littérature disponible et de l’audition d’experts des divers domaines considérés. Après avoir défini la notion de biomasse dans sa diversité, le rapport décrit les différentes bioénergies possibles et leurs limites. Les utilisations actuelles de la biomasse en France sont évaluées et comparées aux perspectives envisagées à l’horizon 2050 au regard du potentiel réellement mobilisable, pour lequel il existe une grande variation dans les estimations proposées, et des technologies nécessaires à sa transformation, qui restent, pour la plupart, coûteuses et de faible maturité. Ainsi, cette analyse montre notamment que le besoin d’énergie non-électrique, tel qu’il est défini dans le scénario de référence fourni par Réseau de transport d’électricité (RTE), sera difficile – pour ne pas dire impossible - à atteindre avec la seule biomasse produite en France : le bouclage énergétique 2050 passera nécessairement par un maintien d’importations de gaz naturel et par de nouvelles importations de biomasse et/ou de bioénergie introduisant des dépendances nouvelles et exportant les risques associés à leur utilisation massive. Le rapport rappelle que la bioénergie reste l’énergie la moins favorable en termes d’empreinte spatiale et que la biomasse a, sur toute la chaîne des valeurs, un faible retour énergétique. Sa plus grande mobilisation, qui ne devra pas se faire au détriment de la sécurité alimentaire humaine et animale, ni au détriment des éco-services rendus par la biosphère, aura des impacts environnementaux certains qu’il faudrait estimer avec rigueur. Enfin, le remplacement de la pétrochimie industrielle par une nouvelle « carbochimie biosourcée » va nécessiter des efforts considérables d’adaptation des procédés et de recherche et développement dans le domaine de la catalyse, de la chimie de synthèse et des biotechnologies. Ces conclusions conduisent le CPE à formuler des recommandations concernant : 1.La nécessaire amélioration de la concertation entre les divers organismes et agences pour aboutir à une estimation rigoureuse et convergente des ressources potentielles, 2.La réalisation de bilans carbone des diverses filières et d’analyses en termes de retour énergétique des investissements envisagés, pour s’assurer de la soutenabilité et du gain en carbone qui ne sont pas acquis pour le moment, 3.Le soutien au déploiement de la recherche et développement des filières de biocarburants de seconde génération pour accroitre leur maturité industrielle, 4.La poursuite du développement d’une chimie organique de synthèse biosourcée, 5.La priorité à établir dans l’utilisation de la biomasse pour les usages qui ne pourront être décarbonés par l’électricité, passant par une politique publique permettant de résoudre les conflits d’usages, 6.La nécessité de concertation des politiques énergétique et agroalimentaire de notre pays.
