Abstract:

Abstract:
e21577 Background: Breast cancer survivorship aims to improve quality of life and reduce the risk of relapse after diagnosis and treatment. Smartphone applications are now widely used and facilitate many daily activities. Excercise and diet are key components of survivorship and modification of both can improve longterm breast cancer outcome. We have developed a smartphone application focused on enhancing excercise and diet following breast cancer diagnosis; Breast Cancer Survivor. Methods: A Smartphone application was developed with Portable Medical Technology, Ireland (https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/breast-cancer-survivor/id1043485265?mt = 8). We focused on improving excercise and caloric balance to reduce body mass index. The appliction measured excercise, intensity and distance, to calculate individual energy expenditure and set a target aimed at reducing BMI by 10% over 8 weeks. In additon to excercise we gave dietry advice to focus on caloric intake. We have examined both national and international usage of the application after it was realeased free of charge, for the initial 6 months after release. Results: 770 users donwloaded and used Breast Cancer Survivor in the initial 6 months. Majority of users were in Ireland (38% n = 534), United Kingdom (24.6% n = 339) and United States of America ( 10.7% n = 147). 1376 session of use were recorded and off these 44.2% (n = 608) were return users. BCS app was used for an average of 2.2 minutes per session.Following initial release and local media coverage usage peaked at 401 sessions and then plateaued at 118 sessions after 6 months with only social media coverage. Conclusions: Smartphone application is an effective lifestyle modification, targeting breast cancer survivors. Breast Cancer Survivor has been widely used with only limited promotion. Breast cancer survivorship can be promoted with a smartphone application.

Abstract:
The object of this paper is to demonstrate the use of an alternative method to measure and quantify international competitiveness. The South African agricultural sector is taken as a case study. The paper builds on Bela Balassa's method (1989) of measuring comparative advantage by means of historically revealed advantage. In practice this method is easy to use, readily applicable and the necessary data are usually available. The results of this measuring excercise are interesting and support the hypotheses that a low level of labour productivity contributes significantly to the low international competitiveness of South African agriculture.

Abstract:
Background: Obesity caused diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Yoga considered three aspects, physic, emotion and mental that helped in obesity therapy. Objective: This research aimed to explain the influence of yoga excercise on body weight, percent of body fat, waist circumference and waist to hip ratio (WHR) in overweight women.Method: This research applied quasi experiment design by using pre-post test with control group design. The subjects of research were 31 women aged 19-25 years old and divided into 2 groups, treatment group and control group. Treatment group was prepared to do yoga in 60 minutes for 10 times during 20 days and given nutrition education, whereas control group was given nutrition education only. Data body weight and percentage of body fat were measured by bioimpedance analysis; waist circumference and WHR were measured by tape measures; food intake were assessed by food recall and food frequency questionnaire. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and independent t-test.Results: There was a significant difference of body weight before and after intervention in both groups. The body weight on treatment group decreased by 0.81 ± 1.29 kg (p<0.05), while the body weight on the control group increased. Percentage of body fat and waist circumference decreased on both of groups, however treatment group decreased more than the control group. WHR no significant on both of groups. Yoga excercise resulted no significant influences on body weight, percentage of body fat, waist circumference and WHR in overweight women (p>0.05). Conclusion: Obesity women with 10 times yoga had no significant influences on body weight, percentage of body fat, waist circumference and WHR.

Abstract:
Coronary artery disease (CAD) becomes primary disease causing morbidity and mortality in developed country. Chronic CAD disease progress over years or decades and becomes a significant health burden worldwide. Most CAD cases occur in individuals with at least one risk factor. Thus, risk modification and regular exercise are part of coronary artery disease management to reduce disease progression. Regular exercise training is an intense technique to expand the threshold of angina-free activity levels in stable disease conditions when symptomatic CAD has developed. This review will explain the current updates in the risk management and exercise that can be used to improve patients’ quality of life and reduce the severity progression of the disease.

Abstract:
To determine the ideal landing beaches in amphibious operations must meet the requirements / criteria that have been determined, because it serves as an important component in the choice of landing beaches. The criteria include the type of beach, gradient beach, the basic material of beach, long beach landings, the type of breaking waves, tide, the kind of obstacles beach, ocean currents, the field behind the beach, the reference point mark landing beaches and access to the exit / entrance beach , In determining the selection of the landing beaches Marine / Navy had not done the calculation / mathematical model and not using a scientific method, such instances it is necessary to make a decision-making model in the case of election of the landing beaches in amphibious operations exercise. This study aims to determine the location of the landing beachesusing Fuzzy MCDM. The use of this method is the solution to produce a more objective group decision in the selection of an amphibious landing beach which data are accurate and reliable to help solve problems that are multi-criteria. There are 11 (eleven) criteria and 4 (four) alternatives identified in this study. Of the 11 criteria which have the highest weighting criteria for the alternative chosen in the first rank third alternative, namely PPD 3. Keywords: Amphibious Operations, Fuzzy MCDM, Criteria and Alternatives.

Abstract:
Lotus seedpod proanthocyanidins (LSPC) as a kind of polyphenols is widely used in medicines, cosmetics, health products. High-intensity exercise can cause damage to the body's organs and tissues. Different doses of LSPC is given to mice to check the function of protect effect to the body's organs and tissues under high-intensity exercise. The hemoglobin (HB) content, red blood cell (RBC) number and white blood cell (WBC) number were tested for mice after exercise. The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the contents of glutathione (GSH) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in muscle and viscera were evaluated. The result showed that LSPC can effectively reduce inflammation reaction in the body of mice with high intensity exercise, alleviate oxidative stress-induced injury of tissues and organs, and execute protective function on skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle. And the LSPC could enhance myocardial anti-oxygen and enzymatic activity which suggests the protective effects of resveratrol against exercise-induced myocardial damage in mice.
