Abstract:
Abstract The author presents a study of Bibliothèque National de France MS Latin 11269, a manuscript that he argues was associated with the court of Leonello d’Este and which represents an attempt to “fix” or “canonize” a vernacular work on a practical subject in erudite Latin poetry. The author reviews the life of Fiore dei Liberi and Leonello d’Este and discusses the author’s intentions in writing, how the manuscript shows clear signs of Estense associations, and examines the manuscript both in light of its codicological context and in light of humanist activity at the Estense court. He also presents the evidence for the book having been in the Estense library. Finally, he examines the place of the manuscript in the context of the later Italian tradition of fencing books. A complete concordance is presented in the appendix.

A ferrarai Castello Estense kis teraszkertje lehetett az egyik inspiráció a budai Cisterna Regia feletti függőkerthez. Még az esztergomi „menedék” tartózkodását is megvizsgáltuk. Az építőművészeti elemzés mellett Beatrix női személyiségének belefonódását sem hanyagoltuk el.

La tesi ricostruisce l’attività degli artisti francesi alla corte estense durante il governo di Francesco I (1629-1658) e Alfonso IV (1658-1662) e la iscrive nel più ampio quadro dei legami politici e culturali tra Parigi e Modena per illustrare il contributo francese alla definizione dell’immagine del potere ducale. Lo spoglio del carteggio diplomatico dell’abate Ercole Manzieri, residente di Francesco I a Parigi a partire dal 1650, ha permesso di documentare gli intensi traffici di ritratti, gioielli e abiti che da Parigi giunsero a Modena, attestando una cospicua influenza francese sul gusto e sul costume estense. Come Manzieri, anche Girolamo Graziani, poeta e segretario di stato, fu impegnato come ambasciatore. La tesi indaga i panegirici da lui composti in lode di Luigi XIV e ne illustra la genesi, prima di focalizzarsi su Jean Boulanger, primo pittore di corte di Francesco I. Chiarita la sua formazione e i suoi primi incarichi a corte, l’attenzione è rivolta alle sue pitture nel Palazzo Ducale di Sassuolo, privilegiando la Galleria di Bacco, di cui si definiscono l’architettura, l’allestimento e la funzione. Nell’ultima sezione la tesi ricompone la committenza ‘francese’ di Alfonso IV e si concentra sull’ultimo ciclo decorativo di Boulanger nella perduta villa ducale delle Pentetorri. Nuovi documenti hanno permesso di collocare le sale dipinte dal francese nello spazio della villa e di leggere, per la prima volta nella sua organicità, l’iconografia del ciclo. Seconda monumentale impresa di Alfonso fu la commissione delle solenni esequie in onore del padre defunto, immortalate nell’Idea di un prencipe del gesuita Domenico Gamberti (1659). Quest’opera, tra le più prestigiose imprese tipografiche del Seicento, plasma l’immagine del potere ducale anche grazie a un ricco repertorio di illustrazioni che videro il coinvolgimento di diversi artisti, anche francesi, di cui si precisano i nomi e le modalità di ingaggio.
The thesis deals with the work of French artists at the Este court during the reign of Francis I (1629-1658) and Alfonso IV (1658-1662) and the broader context of political and cultural links between Paris and Modena to illustrate the French contribution to the definition of the image of ducal power. From the study of the diplomatic correspondence of Abbot Ercole Manzieri, resident of Francesco I in Paris from 1650, it resulted that Modena was among the first courts to comply with the fashion and customs of France. The thesis investigates the panegyrics that Girolamo Graziani, secretary of state, poet and ambassador of the Este court, composed in praise of Louis XIV, before focusing on the artistic path of Jean Boulanger, who was the first court painter of Francesco I. The research first clarifies his initial formation to focus then on his paintings in the Palazzo Ducale in Sassuolo, especially on the Bacchus Gallery. In the very last section, the thesis deals with the 'French client' Alfonso IV and it focuses on the latest Boulanger decorative cycle in the lost Villa ducale of Pentetorri. Documents only partially known allowed to place the rooms painted by Boulanger in the space of the villa and to read for the first time the entire cycle iconography. Second monumental Alfonso enterprise during his short reign was the solemn commission funeral for his deceased father as immortalized in the Idea di un prencipe of the Jesuit Domenico Gamberti (1659). This work, one of the most prestigious of the seventeenth century, shapes the image of ducal power thanks to a rich repertoire of illustrations. If the original project is up to Jean Boulanger, for their engraving onto copper more French engravers were involved, whose names and modes of engagement are specified in this work as well.

La thèse reconstitue les liens culturels entre Paris et Modène pendant les règnes de François Ier (1629-58) et Alfonso IV (1658-62) et explique comment les artistes français à la cour des Este ont contribué à la définition de l’image du pouvoir ducal. La correspondance diplomatique de l’abbé Ercole Manzieri, résident de François Ier à Paris, a révélé le trafic intense des portraits, des bijoux et des vêtements expédiés de Paris à Modène, certifiant une profonde influence française sur le goût et le costume des Este. En décrivant les liens entre les deux cours, la thèse traite de la figure de Girolamo Graziani, poète et secrétaire d’État au service des Este et, en même temps, salarié de Louis XIV pour des panégyriques négligés jusqu’à maintenant. L’étude se concentre ensuite sur Jean Boulanger, premier peintre de François Ier, dont la formation et les commandes ducales sont clarifiées. L’accent est mis sur ses peintures dans le Palazzo Ducale de Sassuolo et, en particulier, sur la galerie de Bacchus, dont l’architecture, l’iconographie et la fonction se sont révélées inspirées par des modèles français. La dernière section est dédiée aux commandes « françaises » d’Alfonso IV et se concentre sur les fresques de Boulanger dans la villa ducale de Pentetorri, cycle disparu et analysé entièrement pour la première fois, et sur les funérailles voulues par Alfonso pour commémorer son père et décrites dans l’Idea di un prencipe. The thesis is about the cultural links between Paris and Modena during the government of Francesco I (1629-1658) and Alfonso IV (1658-1662) and explains how the French artists at the Este court contributed to define the image of ducal power. The diplomatic correspondence of Abbot Ercole Manzieri, resident of François I in Paris in 1650, revealed an intense traffic of portraits, jewelry and clothes that came from Paris to Modena, testing a large French influence on the taste and the Este costume. Outlining the links between the two courts, the thesis deals with the figure of Girolamo Graziani, poet and secretary of state at the service of the Este and, at the same time, sponsored by Louis XIV for some panegyrics not well known until now. The study then focuses on the activities of Jean Boulanger, first painter of Francesco I, clarifying his formation and his role at the Este court. This work focuses on his paintings in the Palazzo Ducale in Sassuolo and, in particular, the Bacchus gallery, that turned out to be inspired by french models for its architecture, iconography and function. The last section is dedicated to 'French' commission by Alfonso IV and focuses on Boulanger decorative cycle in the lost ducal villa of Pentetorri, analyzed for the first time in its organic structure, and on the funeral that Alfonso wanted to commemorate his deceased father as immortalized in the Idea di un prencipe. Abstract:
In questa tesi si propone una metodologia per il trasferimento interattivo semiautomatico di dati da modelli geometrici semantici sviluppati in ambiente BIM a modelli strutturali supportati da analisi per elementi finiti. Il caso della Rocca estense di San Felice sul Panaro, gravemente danneggiata dagli eventi sismici del 2012, è utilizzato come caso di studio applicativo. La metodologia prevede in prima battuta la modellazione di elementi speciali BIM quali contenitori locali dei dati semantici definiti mediante regioni nello spazio del modello che individuano particolari condizioni fisiche individuate mediante la definizione di opportuni metadati. Successivamente, tali informazioni vengono processate automaticamente, mediante uno script integrato in ambiente BIM, rendendole compatibili con i set di dati che tipicamente vengono trasmessi in input per analisi ad elementi finiti. Tali operazioni permettono quindi la generazione di un modello strutturale che recepisce direttamente le attribuzioni semantiche del modello geometrico iniziale. Nell'elaborato sono inoltre discusse alcune metodologie alternative per la generazione del modello agli elementi finiti, partendo da diverse definizioni geometriche in ambiente BIM.

(ITA) L’industria mondiale odierna nel campo dell’architettura e dell’ingegneria si esprime quasi esclusivamente mediante l’approccio BIM, Building Information Modeling. Anche se sviluppato pensando alle nuove costruzioni ed ancora in via di perfezionamento, è entrato prepotentemente nei capitoli normativi di molti stati all’urlo dell“interoperability”. Su questo tema è recente l’interesse e la possibilità di adozione per l’intervento sul costruito, ovvero di Existing Building Information Modelling, eBIM. Gli studi applicativi-sperimentali in questo ambito sono sempre più numerosi e convergono, purtroppo, sulla delicata correlazione tra la gestione del contenuto semantico e la perdita di interoperabilità. Questa tesi si incentra sull’analisi di tale correlazione valutando in particolare l’aspetto metodologico-applicativo dell’arricchimento semantico adottando come caso studio la Torre Nord della Rocca Estense di San Felice sul Panaro. (ENG)Today's global industry in architecture and engineering fields, expresses itself almost entirely focusing on BIM, Building Information Modeling. Even though it was developed taking in consideration new buildings and the ones that are in the process of improvement, it has entered the regulatory chapters of many states in the hymn of "interoperability". Concerning this topic is recent the interest and possibility of adopting a process to intervene on the already built constructions, Existing Building Information Modeling, eBIM. Application-experimental studies in this area are increasingly numerous and unfortunately converge, on the delicate correlation between the management of the semantic content and the loss of interoperability. This thesis focuses on the analysis of this correlation by evaluating in particular the methodological-applicative aspect of semantic enrichment by adopting the North Tower of the Rocca Estense in San Felice sul Panaro as a case study.

Abstract:
Pseudomonas fragi CRDA 037 was used as source of intracellular esterase, which remained attached to the cell membrane, and characterized. Several mechanical methods of disruption were used including glass beads (MSK), sonication, French press and combinations of these methods. The cellular debris were also treated with detergents such as CHAPS and Triton X-100 in the presence of chelating agent ethylenediaminetetra acetic acid (EDTA). The esterase activity remained in the cellular debris which was therefore use as a source of enzyme for kinetic studies. In the case of glass beads homogenization, the activity was found to decrease as a function of time of disruption. The results of chemical treatment showed that the esterase was characterized in terms of detergent and EDA action as well as substrate specificity. Triton X-100 and EDTA had no effect on the esterase activity and did not denature the enzyme. The substrate specificity with cells and cellular debris were carried out. The valeric acid was the best in term of esterase activity among fatty acids used in the study. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)

Resumo: O presente trabalho traz informações que mostram a interferência dos ésteres do ácido ricinoléico extraídos do óleo de mamona (Ricinus communis), no ciclo secretor das glândulas salivares e na vitelogênese de fêmeas do carrapato Rhipicephalus sanguineus, agindo diretamente nos processos de alimentação e de reprodução, respectivamente. Para a realização deste estudo, coelhos hospedeiros infestados com carrapatos, foram alimentados com ração comercial comum (controle-GC) e com ração enriquecida com os ésteres em diferentes concentrações (tratamento- GT). As glândulas salivares sofreram danos, e tiveram o citoplasma das células acinares alterado, trazendo prejuízos ao seu funcionamento, além desta substância ter acelerado a degeneração do órgão como um todo. Os ésteres interferiram na atividade de secreção celular alterando a composição da glicoproteína salivar, especialmente nas células glandulares dos ácinos II. O efeito dos ésteres na vitelogênese foi observado nos ovócitos dos carrapatos do grupo tratamento (GT), os quais apresentaram células germinativas com alterações citoplasmáticas, inibição do desenvolvimento dos ovócitos I e II para os estágios avançados (IV e V), além da interferência na maturação dos ovócitos V. Além disso, nas ampolas dos ovários dos indivíduos tratados, espermatozóides não foram observados no seu interior confirmando a ação dos ésteres no processo de reprodução. Ficou demonstrado também que os danos causados pelos ésteres nas células das glândulas salivares e dos ovários desses ectoparasitas, aumentaram na mesma proporção que houve aumento das concentrações do produto, provocando intensa degeneração dos órgãos
Abstract: The present study brings information which shows the interference of ricinoleic acid esters extracted from castor oil (Ricinus communis) on the secretory cycle of Rhipicephalus sanguineus female ticks' salivary glands and vitellogenesis, acting directly on the feeding and reproduction processes respectively. To perform this study, host rabbits were infested with ticks, fed with regular commercial rabbit food (control-CG) and with food enriched with ester in different concentrations (treatment- TG). The salivary glands were damaged and had the cytoplasm of acinar cells altered, impairing their functioning, and the toxic substance also accelerated the degeneration of the organ as a whole. The esters interfered in the cellular secretion activity altering the composition of salivary glycoproteins, especially in the glandular cells of acini II. The effect of the esters in the vitellogenesis was observed in the oocytes of ticks belonging to the treatment group (TG), whose germinative cells presented cytoplasmic alterations, inhibition of the development of oocytes I and II for advanced stages (IV and V) and interference in the maturation of oocytes V. In addition, spermatozoa were not observed in the interior of the ovaries ampoules, confirming the acaricidal potential of the esters. It was also demonstrated that the damages caused by esters in the salivary glands cells and ovary cells of these ectoparasites increased in the same proportion of the increase in the concentrations of the toxic product, causing intense degeneration of the organs

A ação patogênica do Helicobacter pylori envolve a colonização do trato gastrointestinal e a produção de EROs por neutrófilos atraídos e ativados pelo agente da infecção. A reação mediada pelos PMN é, todavia, ineficaz para eliminar o H. pylori e as EROs contribuem para a lesão tecidual e desenvolvimento de gastrites e úlcera péptica. O ácido cafeico é um dos mais importantes compostos fenólicos, e apresenta diferentes propriedades biológicas, entre elas antioxidante e antimicrobiana. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a atividade antioxidante e anti-H.pylori do ácido cafeico e seus ésteres. Foram avaliados os ésteres: cafelato de metila, cafelato de butila e cafelato de heptila e realizada uma comparação entre as propriedades antioxidantes do ácido cafeico e tais ésteres, por meio de ensaio de quimiluminescência dependente de luminol e lucigenina, ensaio de inibição da produção do ácido hipocloroso e também ensaios morfológicos com e sem a presença de NBT. Os resultados deste estudo mostraram que os ésteres do ácido cafeico apresentaram melhores resultados em comparação com o ácido cafeico para a capacidade antioxidante. O cafelato de heptila apresentou os melhores resultados para a quimiluminescência dependente de luminol e lucigenina induzida por H. pylori e/ou zymozan opsonizado na concentração de 10 µM e 1 µM . O efeito do ácido cafeico e seus ésteres, também foi estudado na inibição da produção de ácido hipocloroso por neutrófilos ativados com PMA. O cafelato de heptila novamente provou ser melhor em capacidade antioxidante, levando a crer que a lipofilicidade deste composto...
The pathogenic action of Helicobacter pylori involves the colonization of the gastrointestinal tract and ROS production by neutrophils attracted and activated by the agent of infection. However, the reaction mediated PMN is ineffective to remove the H. pylori and ROS contribute to tissue damage and development of gastritis and peptic ulcer. Caffeic acid is one of most important phenolic compounds, and has different biological properties including antioxidant and antimicrobial activities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant and anti-Helicobacter pylori activity of caffeic acid and esters. Esters evaluated: methyl caffeic acid ester, butyl caffeic acid ester and heptyl caffeic acid ester and a comparison between the antioxidant properties of caffeic acid and these esters through luminol and lucigenin chemiluminescence assay dependent, inhibition of production of hypochlorous acid assay, morphological tests with and without the presence of NBT. The results of this study showed that the esters of caffeic acid had better results in comparison with caffeic acid to their antioxidant capacity. The heptyl caffeic acid ester showed the best results for the luminol and lucigenin dependent chemiluminescence induced by H. pylori and / or opsonized zymozan in the concentrations of 10 µM and 1 µM. The effect of caffeic acid and esters, was also studied in inhibiting of production of hypochlorous acid by neutrophils activated with PMA. O presente trabalho traz informações que mostram a interferência dos ésteres do ácido ricinoléico extraídos do óleo de mamona (Ricinus communis), no ciclo secretor das glândulas salivares e na vitelogênese de fêmeas do carrapato Rhipicephalus sanguineus, agindo diretamente nos processos de alimentação e de reprodução, respectivamente. Para a realização deste estudo, coelhos hospedeiros infestados com carrapatos, foram alimentados com ração comercial comum (controle-GC) e com ração enriquecida com os ésteres em diferentes concentrações (tratamento- GT). As glândulas salivares sofreram danos, e tiveram o citoplasma das células acinares alterado, trazendo prejuízos ao seu funcionamento, além desta substância ter acelerado a degeneração do órgão como um todo. Os ésteres interferiram na atividade de secreção celular alterando a composição da glicoproteína salivar, especialmente nas células glandulares dos ácinos II. O efeito dos ésteres na vitelogênese foi observado nos ovócitos dos carrapatos do grupo tratamento (GT), os quais apresentaram células germinativas com alterações citoplasmáticas, inibição do desenvolvimento dos ovócitos I e II para os estágios avançados (IV e V), além da interferência na maturação dos ovócitos V. Além disso, nas ampolas dos ovários dos indivíduos tratados, espermatozóides não foram observados no seu interior confirmando a ação dos ésteres no processo de reprodução. Ficou demonstrado também que os danos causados pelos ésteres nas células das glândulas salivares e dos ovários desses ectoparasitas, aumentaram na mesma proporção que houve aumento das concentrações do produto, provocando intensa degeneração dos órgãos
The present study brings information which shows the interference of ricinoleic acid esters extracted from castor oil (Ricinus communis) on the secretory cycle of Rhipicephalus sanguineus female ticks’ salivary glands and vitellogenesis, acting directly on the feeding and reproduction processes respectively. To perform this study, host rabbits were infested with ticks, fed with regular commercial rabbit food (control-CG) and with food enriched with ester in different concentrations (treatment- TG). The salivary glands were damaged and had the cytoplasm of acinar cells altered, impairing their functioning, and the toxic substance also accelerated the degeneration of the organ as a whole. The esters interfered in the cellular secretion activity altering the composition of salivary glycoproteins, especially in the glandular cells of acini II. The effect of the esters in the vitellogenesis was observed in the oocytes of ticks belonging to the treatment group (TG), whose germinative cells presented cytoplasmic alterations, inhibition of the development of oocytes I and II for advanced stages (IV and V) and interference in the maturation of oocytes V. In addition, spermatozoa were not observed in the interior of the ovaries ampoules, confirming the acaricidal potential of the esters. It was also demonstrated that the damages caused by esters in the salivary glands cells and ovary cells of these ectoparasites increased in the same proportion of the increase in the concentrations of the toxic product, causing intense degeneration of the organs

Abstract:
This paper offers an overall study of the texts derived from the Spanish classical theater contained in the Orsi collection of the Estense Library of Modena, which has so far not been adequately investigated. The remarkable interest of Giovan Gioseffo Orsi (1652-1733) and his entourage for the Spanish theater emerged, played in the public theaters, private villas, academies and Jesuit colleges of Modena and Bologna between the end of the XVII and the beginning of the XVIII century. In addition, several unknown adaptations and remakes come to light, deriving from Spanish pièces included in the Diferentes autores collection - which had a considerable European circulation -, and some canovacci, long considered lost, dating back to the companies of the professional comedians Giovanni Andrea Cavazzoni and Luigi Riccoboni. The analysis conducted on some of these texts, of which there are multiple versions, allows us to go into the translator’s laboratory, greatly increasing our knowledge of the theatrical rewriting methods of the time.

Introdução: A estenose aórtica é uma doença causada pelo defeito da valva semilunar aórtica, que fica localizado no ventrículo esquerdo, e faz ligação com a artéria aorta. Através dessa abertura reduzida da valva, o sangue arterial não consegue manter o fluxo correto, o que causa disfunção na irrigação sanguínea pelo corpo. Portanto, é fundamental compreender as manifestações clínicas da estenose aórtica para um diagnóstico correto fidedigno. Objetivos: Compreender e entender a interpretação dos exames utilizados no diagnóstico da estenose aórtica afim de o diferenciar de outras patologias associadas a lesão valvar. Material e métodos: Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura integrativa usando os bancos de dados Unimep e Manual MSD, aplicando os descritores “Estenose aórtica” “Estreitamento valvar” e “Marcadores bioquímicos em lesões no miocárdio”. Usou-se como critério de inclusão os artigos em inglês e português que estivessem no período entre os anos de 2015 a 2021. Resultados: Para o diagnóstico diferencial da estenose aórtica, é necessária a realização de exames complementares, como, ecocardiografia que irá contabilizar a sobrecarga ventricular esquerda, com relação ao grau de disfunção sistólica, dimensionando possíveis valvopatias coexistentes e suas complicações, analisando a gravidade da patologia associada. O eletrocardiograma demonstra uma sobrecarga do ventrículo esquerdo, podendo apresentar ou não um padrão isquêmico no segmento ST-T. E uma radiografia de tórax a fim de observar a possível calcificação das cúspides aórticas, com possíveis evidências de insuficiência cardíaca. A necessidade da realização do cateterismo cardíaco para determinar a doença coronariana, com a finalidade de distinguir e orientar o médico para qual conduta deverá seguir, sendo esses métodos necessários e adequados para estabelecerem a diferenciação entre a estenose aórtica e a doença coronariana. Conclusão: A estenose aórtica pode ser confundida com diversas patologias pelos seus sinais e sintomas serem similares, como a doença arterial coronariana. Em geral, é bastante evidente mas quando o sopro tem características incomuns a estenose aórtica pode ser confundida com diversas condições. Sendo assim, os exames complementares são fundamentais para o diagnóstico diferencial.

Abstract:
Introdução. A atresia anal é caracterizada por uma malformação congênita que impede a correta eliminação das fezes por estenose ou ausência do orifício anal. É uma afecção com certa ocorrência em bovinos que, muitas vezes, culmina em tratamento cirúrgico. Objetivo. Este trabalho descreve um caso de atresia anal do tipo três e seu acompanhamento, em um bezerro no Município de Barra, BA. Material e Método. Foi atendido no Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal do Oeste da Bahia (UFOB), um bezerro, mestiço de Nelore, 25kg, 5 dias de idade, com queixa de tenesmo observado após o nascimento. Ao exame físico, observou-se fezes em fita, estenose anal e a formação de uma saculação perineal por esforço para defecar. Indicado o procedimento cirúrgico para dilatação do reto por sonda fixada no ânus. No pré-cirúrgico foi feito enema, limpeza e tricotomia da região perineal, contenção e posicionamento do bezerro sobre uma mesa, em decúbito esternal, realizado bloqueio epidural e regional (perineal) com lidocaína 2%. Após, foi feita incisão circular e divulsão até localizar o reto, que foi tracionado caudalmente e suturado a pele com ponto simples interrompido. Para manter o orifício aberto, foi fixado metade do cilindro de uma seringa de 5ml. Resultados. Após5 dias, por conta de estenose, foi retirada a sonda e os pontos, e realizada nova aberturado orifício anal. Ato contínuo, foi feita incisão em ́ ́V ́ ́ na borda dorsal e ventral para diminuir a pressão da estenose da mucosa, além da troca pelo cilindro de uma seringa de20ml. Devido a saculação no reto, a estenose mantinha-se constante, com isso foi retirada a sonda e mantiveram os pontos de fixação do reto na pele por mais 3 dias. O animal passou a defecar sem esforço e após 7 dias foi feita a retirada dos pontos. Ainda observou-se leve estenose, mas que não impedia a saída das fezes. Foi indicado observação do animal a partir da alimentação com volumoso. Conclusão. A cirurgia de atresia anal em bezerros é uma prática comum, mas se faz necessário o acompanhamento para avaliação de estenoses secundárias ao procedimento cirúrgico.
