Popov, Rinad. System-synergetic aspect of energy and resource saving in construction and housing and communal services in the conditions of greening. ru: INFRA-M Academic Publishing LLC., 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.12737/1318775.

Full text
Abstract:
The monograph presents a constructive and critical analysis of the organizational foundations of modern practice of energy and resource conservation in territorial and economic systems, the core of which are capital construction and housing and communal services that are closely interrelated. In the form of a discussion, the scientific and applied problems of this area of public practice and the conceptual aspects of its resolution in the views of various authors are considered. The author's own views on a number of aspects of environmental management, energy and resource conservation in capital construction and housing and communal services are substantiated.

Abstract:
The monograph summarizes new relevant materials and topics. The study of the sources (forms) of environmental and natural resource law, legislation on environmental assessment and environmental control (supervision), provisions of land and other codes as forms of law, mechanisms for regulating environmental management, as well as the evolution of sources of law in the field of agriculture. The complex nature of environmental law is demonstrated, the constitutional, legislative, and political foundations of environmental development, the unified state environmental policy of the Russian Federation and a number of foreign states are outlined. The genesis and systematization of forms of atmospheric air protection, specially protected natural territories of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, legal regulation of waste management, international and national measures of adaptation to climate change are reflected. The legislation on land reclamation, land management, subsoil use, forest management, water use, fishing and conservation of aquatic biological resources in the system of sources of environmental law is analyzed; the issues of intersectoral communication of environmental, urban planning, information, energy, civil legislation and law are considered. Examples from the field of law enforcement are given. The idea of ecologization of sources (forms), institutions, categories, norms of branches of Russian law is being developed. For lawyers — scientists and practitioners, teachers, postgraduates, masters, law students, and other specialists interested in the theory and practice of lawmaking and the application of environmental law.

Abstract:
The educational manual provides information about industrial and domestic waste. The properties of the lithosphere and the soil components. The estimation of soil pollution by industrial and household waste. The peculiarities of classification of wastes and provides criteria for determining risk. Describe the General pattern of the combined methods of processing that use mechanical, physical, thermal and biothermal recycling processes. In detail the construction described granulating equipment, methods of intensification of processes, process flow sheets and engineering calculation methods. Special attention is given to the thermal methods of waste treatment, process lines, constructions of furnaces and reactors. On the basis of the system approach with use of data of environmental monitoring are considered the methodology for selecting the most available technology. Meets the requirements of Federal state educational standards of higher education of the last generation. Intended for independent work of undergraduates majoring in 20.04.01 "Technospheric safety" (master level), 20.03.01 "Technosphere safety" (bachelor level), 18.03.01 "Chemical technology" 18.03.02 "Energy and resource saving processes in chemical technology, petrochemistry and biotechnology". Grigor'ev, Leonid, Igor' Makarov, Aleksandr Kurdin, Sergey Bobylev, Aleksandr Golyashev, Evsey Gurvich, Aleksey Ivaschenko, et al. The world economy in a period of great turmoil. ru: INFRA-M Academic Publishing LLC., 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.12737/1858585.

Full text
Abstract:
The monograph is devoted to the main trends in the development of the world economy between the two crises: The Great Recession of 2008-2009 and the crisis of 2020-2021 caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The authors reveal numerous contradictions that accumulated in the global economy during this period and reached their peak by the time the pandemic began. These contradictions are grouped into four groups corresponding to the sections: structural problems affecting the nature of economic growth; contradictions in the development of the financial system; problems of social development and the evolution of the welfare state; energy and resource-environmental problems. The authors demonstrate that the economic turmoil, the growth of political tension within the leading countries and the intensification of conflict in international relations in recent years are largely a reflection of humanity's inability to find an answer to these and other contradictions. The system of global regulation, which has entered a period of deep crisis, is particularly unable to keep up with the changes taking place in the global economy. It is the result of a three-year research project implemented at the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. The team of authors includes 18 authors from Russian and foreign universities, research centers and international organizations who are recognized experts on various problems of the world economy. The chapters prepared by them are structured according to a single logic: from problem formulation to a review of theories, a description of existing approaches to solving problems, obstacles in their implementation and, ultimately, to identifying key challenges of the future. Such a structure allows us to present a comprehensive picture of the form in which the world economy has come to a critical moment of its development. For students and postgraduates of economic specialties. It will be useful for teachers developing courses on the world economy and its individual aspects, as well as for the general public interested in global challenges and problems.

Abstract:
The work of conservation biology has grown from local studies of single species into a discipline concerned with mapping and managing biodiversity on a global scale. Remote sensing, using satellite and aerial imaging to measure and map the environment, increasingly provides a vital tool for effective collection of the information needed to research and set policy for conservation priorities. The perceived complexities of remotely sensed data and analyses have tended to discourage scientists and managers from using this valuable resource. This text focuses on making remote sensing tools accessible to a larger audience of non-specialists, highlighting strengths and limitations while emphasizing the ways that remotely sensed data can be captured and used, especially for evaluating human impacts on ecological systems.
