Abstract:
Sacrum w przestrzeni zamieszkiwania przedstawia szacunek dla niewidzialnego. Ludzie, tworząc prywatne sanktuaria w domach, stawiając przydrożne krzyże i kapliczki, podkreślają swoją potrzebę bezpieczeństwa i ochrony w codziennym życiu. The Paradigm Change. Environmental Aspects as Transformative Imperative in the Housing Environment The sacred in the habitation space depicts respect for the unseen. The people underlined their fear and hope for safety, comfort, and well-being in the sanctuaries inside their homes or roadside crosses and chapels. But contemporary shrines are different; architectural and urban means and solutions differ from those from previous ages. At the same time, they refer to or even use the same elements to express the holy. An expanded analysis of theoretical works and design examples based on longtime research and observations of the described phenomenon allows the author to formulate a thesis about a strongly changing paradigm in what one can describe as the sacred in a housing environment.

Abstract:
The management paradigm is formulated both by the scientific environment, as well as by the managers of organisations. Both environments formulate management paradigms which relate to values. As far as the paradigm of the first group is relatively easy to identify, the second is much more difficult to define, as the analysis must be supplemented with the examination of the actual behaviour of enterprises. The article discusses the essential components of the paradigms formulated by both environments, including the common contents of these paradigms and the differences. The author suggested changes to both paradigms taking into account their interdependence.

The development and construction of cities and villages are a complex process jointly promoted by multiple subjects such as government, residents, enterprises, planners, and community elites. Through the summary and analysis of the practice of art rural construction at home and abroad, it is found that its events show three main paradigms in the development process. The environmental creation paradigm reconstructs the environmental semantics of the countryside through the creation of environmental art works, showing the remarkable characteristics of “the presence of works.” The cultural revival paradigm maintains the local culture through cooperation with residents in art and has the characteristics of “de-artization ” and “de-heritage.” The industrial development paradigm adjusts the industrial structure through the production of commodity art to achieve the improvement of the rural economic foundation. Under the new development trend, the three paradigms are gradually converging.

Abstract:
Rapid decomposition of plant biomass in soda lakes is associated with microbial activity of anaerobic cellulose-degrading communities. The alkaliphilic bacterium, Clostridium alkalicellulosi, is the single known isolate from a soda lake that demonstrates cellulolytic activity. This microorganism secretes cellulolytic enzymes that degrade cellulose under anaerobic and alkaliphilic conditions. A previous study indicated that the protein fraction of cellulose-grown cultures showed similarities in composition and size to known components of the archetypical cellulosome Clostridium thermocellum. Bioinformatic analysis of the C. alkalicellulosi draft genome sequence revealed 44 cohesins, organized into 22 different scaffoldins, and 142 dockerin-containing proteins. The modular organization of the scaffoldins shared similarities to those of C. thermocellum and Acetivibrio cellulolyticus, whereas some exhibited unconventional arrangements containing peptidases and oxidative enzymes. The binding interactions among cohesins and dockerins assessed by ELISA, revealed a complex network of cellulosome assemblies and suggested both cell-associated and cell-free systems. Based on these interactions, C. alkalicellulosi cellulosomal systems have the genetic potential to create elaborate complexes, which could integrate up to 105 enzymatic subunits. The alkalistable C. alkalicellulosi cellulosomal systems and their enzymes would be amenable to biotechnological processes, such as treatment of lignocellulosic biomass following prior alkaline pretreatment.

Abstract:
Purpose – The current context of retail is extremely challenging. Retail environments are pushing consumers to appreciate hedonic aspects of consumption. Retailers are finding new ways to offer customers something unique or special in order to encourage traffic to physical stores. People like to touch, feel, smell, taste, inspect, test and try on. It is a holistic approach that involves both emotional and rational triggers (Meyer, 2006, p. 1). The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach – The basic proposition is that a shopper’s behavior is influenced by the environment. The environment (store) influences a shopper’s emotions and mood, which in turn influence the shopper’s behavior (Ebster and Garaus, 2011, p. 108). Mehrabian found a significant amount of research to back Holbrook’s findings that “emotion is a key link in the shopping experience” determining that consumers’ reactions within stores are based on their emotional states, which are stimulated by store designs (Mehrabian, 1977). Findings – It is important to focus on engaging the customer both emotionally and behaviorally, which means that the communication on social media and physical retail stores should both excel in emotional appeal, and encourage various forms of interaction with the brand. Increasingly, success at retail is less about what the retailer has to sell and more about how they sell it. This is the new experiential paradigm shift in shopping. This will become even more critical in the future as success at retail will continue to shift toward how well retailers play to the emotions, psychology and feelings of the shopper (Danziger, 2006, p. 17). The need whether utilitarian or hedonic carries them to the store but emotions make them stay and shop. Originality/value – Both utilitarian and hedonic experiences – whether they are derived from consuming products or total experience, including products, people, places and the environment – contribute in differing degrees, to the overall experience of consumption.

Abstract:
Environmental issues are given prominence in the media and scientific circles. From the 60’s until early 2010 there were changes in the way people related to the environment, with a paradigm shift occurring regarding the environment. This study sought to identify the representational content disseminated by the press media on the environment in different periods. A qualitative survey was therefore conducted of documents, and data were obtained through texts published in a magazine with national circulation. The data were analyzed using the ALCESTE program with a Lexicographic Analysis. It was identified that the press media reflects the paradigm shifts, and publications dating from the late 60’s are compatible with the old paradigm, evolving over time, and are now compatible with the new environmental paradigm. The results indicate that currently the environment needs care in all its aspects and lack of care creates global impacts.

Abstract:
Purpose – In disaster risk reduction (DRR), it is important to realise stakeholders’ approaches against disasters in the built environment. The purpose of this paper is to explore why stakeholders take proactive and/or reactive approaches in DRR. Design/methodology/approach – Using a review of existent literature, this work scrutinises disaster theories and their applications in the built environment to develop a theoretical framework for perceiving stakeholders’ proactive and/or reactive approaches in DRR. Findings – Stakeholders’ organisational attributes – power, legitimacy and urgency – and decision-making paradigms – value maximisation and intuitive reasoning – are fundamental factors affecting stakeholders’ approaches against disasters. Power and legitimacy of stakeholders result in a proactive approach if stakeholders consider value maximisation paradigm in their decision-making process. Powerful and legitimate stakeholders may take reactive approaches because of intuitive reasoning paradigm. Stakeholders may shift from a reactive to proactive approach and vice versa based on the combination of urgency attribute and decision-making paradigms. Research limitations/implications – It is essential to consider the classification of respective stakeholders in applying the idea of this paper. Furthermore, this paper does not attempt to validate the proposed theoretical framework empirically, but it combines stakeholder and decision-making theories by which this could be undertaken. Originality/value – Little attention has been paid to systematic theorising in managing stakeholders’ approaches against disasters. Furthermore, many researchers have focused on similar underlying theories and heuristics in the context of DRR. Thus, this paper introduces a theoretical framework to examine stakeholders’ proactive and/or reactive approaches in the built environment, by synthesising stakeholder and decision-making theories.

Abstract:
The philosophical analysis of three main paradigms in the basis of physical knowledge is carried out. It is permissible to conclude that in the case of electromagnetic interaction between the emitter and the absorber: 1) the process of interaction of the photon with the medium in space and time can occur; 2) in the case when the photon “teleports” - there is only a relation outside of space and time. The following classification of fundamental concepts, with which the relational paradigm deals, is revealed. The ideal: space and time, field, information, a set of movements of quantum particles. The material: interactions, environment. Nothing more than countable: time, electromagnetic interactions. Uncountable: space, environment, interactions with the environment, a set of movements of quantum particles. Substantial: environment, interactions, information, a set of movements of quantum particles. Relational: space, time, field - as a means of description.

Abstract:
A software prototyping environment called TransObj (TRANSaction and OBJect) is used for designing real-time Transaction-based Concurrent Software Systems (TCSS). In a TCSS design process, a software designer should perform both functional design and performance design. The designer should change his design view from a transaction-based paradigm to an object-based paradigm during the TCSS design process. Recognition of re-entrant functional objects and serially reusable functional objects in the TCSS should be required. TransObj includes the Stepwise Prototyping Method (SPM), and two SPM-based tools: Prolog-based TransObj (P-TransObj) and GPSS-based TransObj (G-TransObj). SPM enables the designer to advance both functional design and performance design for the TCSS prototype as controling the change of design view paradigms. P-TransObj mainly checks the prototype in a microscopic view on a personal computer. G-TransObj mainly checks the same prototype with a longer time span on a large-scale computer.

Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to analyse the quality of the human – work system in the context of modern organisation management paradigms focused on theoretical aspects of sustainable growth in which flexibility gets the crucial condition to meet each company’s objectives specified by this growth. Design/methodology/approach: It is an opinion article, the attempt to interpret the correlation between the high quality of work environment indicated by the goals of Agenda 2030 and the organisation flexibility dimensions presented in literature which imply the growth in efficiency and effectiveness of work potential management. The study was developed on the basis of the regular and critical literature analysis. Findings: The considerations presented in the article indicate that the achievement of high efficiency and effectiveness level in organisation in the era of postglobalisation and Coronavirus is only possible when the high organisation flexibility is guaranteed, and the flexible initiation of innovative changes depends on optimising the management of work potential. The need of flexibile creativity in the company, being a reaction to the radical redefining the human functioning in an organisation, is required on all levels of each company functioning arising from the view that the general organisation flexibility is conditioned by partial flexibilities. Originality/value: The value of this paper is theoretical. The possibilities of obtaining various kinds of flexibility by a company were determined in the context of developing the human – work system and its influence on the total growth of organisation abilities. It was presented that the flexible organisation competences guaranteeing the proper organisation processes, condition the increase in flexibile skills in a positive way, which contributes to the more flexible activities adapted to the permenent and turbulent changes in the company external surroundings. This article is addressed to the people interested in the multiaspect problematics of the academic issue, the obtained results may be the inspiration to further research.

Abstract:
Blockchain solves the problem of mutual trust and consensus in the business market of the token economy. In the existing paradigm of blockchain token economy, there are disadvantages of lacking the incentive mechanism, business applications and virtual token value. These shortcomings reduce consumers’ willingness to consume and the profits of the merchants. In this paper, we propose a novel “Dual incentive value-based” paradigm to improve the business market profitability in blockchain token economy. To evaluate our proposed paradigm, we propose a business study case for improving merchants’ environment state. In this case, we set up two economic models and make simulations to validate the profitability. The result shows that merchants with the novel paradigm have 32% more profit compared with those without the paradigm and at most 10% more profitable than those in existing paradigms.

Service-oriented computing is revolutionizing the modern computing paradigms with its aim to boost software reuse and enable business agility. Under this paradigm, new services are fabricated by composing available services. The problem arises as how to effectively and efficiently compose heterogeneous services facing the high complexity of service composition. Based on environment ontology, this paper introduces a requirement-driven service composition approach. We propose the algorithms to decompose the requirement, the rules to deduct the relation between services, and the algorithm for composing service. The empirical results and the comparison with other services’ composition methodologies show that this approach is feasible and efficient.

Abstract:
Recently, autonomous robots play an important role in many aspects. Autonomous robots help improve efficiency and productivity, further reduce errors, and risk rates. Employee safety in high-risk work environments is also becoming one of the benefits of autonomous robots. When designing an autonomous robot, two paradigms can be implemented, i.e., planning and reactive paradigm. A distinct feature of the reactive paradigm is that all activities are carried out through behavior. The benefits of the reactive paradigm include can be applied in limited inexpensive hardware resources, low complexity, goal convergence, easy adaptation to changing situations, and a completely unfamiliar environment with unpredictable mobile obstacles. In this paper, the behavior-based reactive system of an autonomous mobile robot is designed to collect stuff objects. Negotiators have been proposed to combine several behaviors into a system that can be implemented in a variety of situations and cases. The results show that a negotiator can be implemented to realize a fully autonomous mobile robot based on the behavior of the reactive system.

Abstract:
Formulating the fixed methodology for determining the beginning of Ramadan month and Islamic Feast in Indonesia is still ongoing. This article attempts to offer an integration between sharia and scientific views through 1) the concept of shahadah (witnessing) in the paradigm of fiqh and astronomy, and 2) the integration of those paradigms in determining the beginning of lunar months, particularly Ramadan and Syawal. This study uses qualitative methods in gaining the data then analyzes it using the approach of Miles & Huberman on interdisciplinary study. The findings of this research are as follows: 1) the concept of shahadah in the paradigm of fiqh is based on religious vows and factual evidence, while the astronomical paradigm perceives it from the certainty of external factors (weather, climate, environment, etc.). 2) Integration of those two paradigms results in better methods. It can turn the shahadah into the quality of qat'i (fixed) while the astronomic perspective gains more legitimacy. The integration is therefore called shahadah-'ilmi which potentially integrates the criteria of crescent visibility (imkan al-rukyah) in Indonesia to minimize the common occurrence on differences in determining those days.

This paper explores characteristics of the “alternative medicine” or ecological paradigm and some of its implications for health po9licies. This paradigm suggests that many degenerative diseases (including cancer) are "caused" or accellerated by the building of industrial toxins and that effective public policies should encourage wholistic preventative changes, including in food and water systems, rather than primarily addressing symptoms.Key Words: disease, health, industrialization, pollution, ecology, alternative medicine, ecological pressure, health policy.

Abstract:
The article describes the author’s concept of the modern paradigm of legal knowledge. Rethinking philosophical paradigms«epistemology as theory of reflection», the recognition of the irreducibility of cognitive activity to reflective procedures, the lack of systematic research in the field of knowledge in the legal sphere, the predominance of ideology over logic and gnoseology, the lack of comprehensive studies of the content and structure of legal cognition as a complex, multilevel and polyelement system operating in a special environment necessitates the formulation of a paradigm of legal knowledge on a theoretical level. Development of legal knowledge paradigm requires, first, considering the unity of figurative and symbolic, reflective and interpretative issues, and, secondly, the use of modern ideas about the existence of ideal entities and virtual reality, which should include legal concepts and spatio-temporal images.

The present work aims to investigate the relationship between nature and society and in this framework have been identified diverse paradigmatic contexts that may present to this more or less harmonic relationship. We could observe, during the course, the terms imposed by the dominant paradigm stemming from economic rationality and the need to transcend to a comprehensive environmental rationality of complexity (Conf. Leff, 1994; Morin, 1997). The latter, in Latin America, is integrated by pluralistic, original, pre-Columbian and indigenous knowledge, as well as an integration of social and environmental problems, which, in the face of the ideas imposed by the hegemonic paradigm, present alternatives to development (Gudynas, 2011).

Abstract:
The article discusses the discourse on the methodological foundations of political science research and the need to outline the existing paradigms of political science research, both in the temporal-retrospective dimension and in the dimension of the subject area. It is emphasized that the determinants of defining the value of paradigm in modern political science research is the prospect of acquiring scientific novelty at the stage of determining the research topic. The focus is on the need for a more thorough consideration of specific paradigmatic means of determining the methodological design of contemporary political science research. It is noted that on the basis of linguistic analysis of subject aspects of political science, one can easily see the multivariate interpretation of many essential concepts of the modern political sphere. It is argued that one can also see expansive interpretations of particular concepts and processes from a non-professional perspective. The importance of interdisciplinary natural science paradigms has been established. Attention is paid to identifying the possibility of forming a new conceptual apparatus, taking into account the concepts that have become widespread in the scientific environment. The role of the concept of "paradigm approach in modern political science" is revealed, which is aimed at understanding the peculiarities of considering political science subject within other scientific disciplines. It is proved that the leading task of paradigm as a discipline of political science is the formation of paradigmatic choice of young researcher. The peculiarities of searching for a scientist’s own «paradigm face» have been found. The ability to use the task of defining scientific novelty is emphasized to some extent. The specificity of choosing a paradigm vector of a researcher-political scientist with consideration of the requirements of interdisciplinarity is considered. The purpose of the article is to identify paradigm in political studies as a factor in the formation of authorial conceptualism against the backdrop of interdisciplinary imperatives. The purpose of the article is to highlight the main directions of paradigm and their correlation with modern political theories. It is proved that the choice of the paradigm vector of the researcher-political scientist is confronted with interdisciplinary, first of all philosophical meanings of cognition as a form of social activity. The idea that choosing one’s own paraligmal vector for a specialist political scientist is presented is important because of the need to overcome the Soviet and post-Soviet paradigmatic provinces. It turned out that the formation of the national paradigm of political science, which should be carried out only on condition that the fullest representation of all paradigm directions. The situation of paradigm choices and orientation of political scientist researcher in the world paradigm mainstream is revealed. The necessity of finding a researcher in the environment of those paradigms that give the most significant scientific result is proved. The article establishes that the combination of the universality of interdisciplinary paradigms and the optionality of paradigms for a particular political science study is carried out on the basis of a conceptual and categorical apparatus of political epistemology. It is argued that on the basis of the notion of "scientific truth (episteme)", the formation of the author’s own attitude to the subject of research and the prospect of solving his problem is carried out.

Abstract:
Consider. Yet another major new development is proposed that will, inevitably, disturb, damage and degrade existing landscape processes. But not to worry, we now have laws that protect the environment. Not only that, but whatever the development it must be sustainable. Since the proponent of this major new development is legally obliged to carry out an environmental impact assessment a swift, but ever so thorough, site survey is commissioned and executed. The competence and integrity of the consultants is unquestioned, yet they know that a single snapshot cannot show the seasonal cycles of complex interactions and key flows of materials, energy and information that sustain the natural systems. But hey, that is too much to ask when time is of the essence and time means money. Besides, we cannot predict, with absolute certainty, that the development will cause irretrievable damage, so let us just get on with it.

Abstract:
This paper relates to the developed Spatial Grasp (SG) Paradigm for solving complex problems in a holistic and fully distributed way. It presents the results of its further development in two interlinked directions: philosophical-conceptual and technological-implementational. In the first direction, there are discussed the details of how SG develops in distributed spaces as waves or even viruses and how grasps at the same time solutions of spatial problems, also how it fundamentally differs from traditional representations of systems and their solutions as parts exchanging messages. The SG philosophy also resembles higher concepts like perception, awareness, consciousness, and even soul. In the other direction, the resultant Spatial Grasp Technology details are briefed where its Spatial Grasp Language (SGL) interpreters can be networked as spatial computers covering any terrestrial and celestial environments. Distributed interpretation mechanisms of basic SGL constructs are discussed in detail, allowing for the implementation of spatial functionality without centralized resources. The paper also provides examples of fully distributed SGL solutions for observing and evaluating very large phenomena, such as hurricanes, forest fires, even galaxies, as well as discovering images in distributed networks, which can be perceived as a whole in line with the conceptual orientation of SG. The developed paradigm allows direct expression of top semantics and holistic methods for solving complex problems, dynamic creation and composition of the needed implementation environment, thus providing the strictest way from problem definition to a practical solution.

Abstract:
This article is dedicated to consideration of the environment as a sociocultural phenomenon. Emphasis is placed on the trend of changing the attitude towards environment from technological to sociocultural. Examination of the environment in such paradigm allows reconsidering the phenomenon from axiological perspective, which transforms the attitude towards environment, at times fundamentally. The article employs the analysis of secondary data of the conducted applies research, as well as the expert survey of specialists from the three neighboring countries – Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. The following conclusions were formulated: the environment is perceived as universal and regional value that impacts the spiritual life of an individual and the society, thereby ensuring their spiritual security; 2) the adoption of managerial decisions in the environmental sphere should be associated with conceptualization of this phenomenon as sociocultural, which increases the degree of responsibility and importance of the environment for the intergenerational continuity of culture-bearers. The novelty of the work consists in substantiation of the need for paradigm shift in comprehension of the environment as a sociocultural phenomenon. The focus may move from the economic or ultimately ecological attitude towards environment to sociocultural.

Abstract:
A research paradigm is a blueprint that lay out the many roles of how the development of knowledge can be place within a particular discipline in research. As artistic research is still in its infancy, this paper attempts to proposed a schematic foundation for art practice-based research paradigm by referencing to an existing structure proposed by Gray and Malins. The research takes a interpretative method in developing definition and basic argument, providing the future researcher with a fundamental comprehension of the research paradigm by focusing on its three components—namely, ontology, epistemology, and methodology—as outlined in their suggested scheme. Abstract:
In the European context, animal rights legislation is relying on human rights language, since it aims to protect the animals from mental suffring. The fact that a legal norm is not labelled as a human rights norm does not alter its content. This article also shows that in the Estonian judicial system the concept of animals deserving protection of their fundamental rights is accepted by default. The reasoning of court judgments indicates that the main reason for criminal sanction is the violation of animals fundamental right not to be killed or tortured. The article supports the thesis that it is clear that there is an urgent need to recognize the animal rights in legislation directly and the need of such application of these laws by courts; altogether with placing such conviction in public awareness.
