Full textIn recent years, Côte d’Ivoire has seen the emergence of a discourse aimed at raising awareness of entrepreneurship among young people, driven by public policies and disseminated in various ways. This research analyzes, over a four-year period, the implementation of a social and solidarity entrepreneurship education project at an Ivorian university and its effects on participating students. Conducted through an ethnographic approach that centers on the voices of the participants and analyzes their biographical journeys, the thesis highlights the innovative aspects as well as some shortcomings of the project, which prevented its sustainability. It uncovers the misunderstandings that hindered the project's completion, though these could be mitigated with revised roles and institutional reinforcement. Regarding the students, the characterization of their identity transitions throughout the project reveals family and social socializations conducive to entrepreneurial initiative, alongside individual and collective factors stemming from the group dynamics created for the project. At the project's conclusion, the effects on their future trajectories vary in magnitude, ranging from a mere awareness-raising impact to forms of entrepreneurial expertise. These findings, drawn from individual experiences, provide broader insights into the Ivorian social and educational context: our analysis suggests that the practice of social and solidarity entrepreneurship is rooted in sociocultural knowledge that deserves to be unearthed, recognized, and valued for the development of sustainable and adapted educational frameworks. The thesis offers pathways towards educational engineering in entrepreneurship that supports the valorization of both individual and collective pre-existing knowledge

Full textâEconomia solidÃriaâ is sought of social reform into numerous scope of human action and it has remarkable grew up in recent years because its different configurations. My main question is make a research about âRede Bodegasâ namely âRede de Economia Popular SolidÃriaâ placed in the State of CearÃ. âRede Bodegasâ that is an instance of and refers to Caritas which has some projects concern Alternative Community Projects (so called PACs). Hence, we search for an answer to the questions: how they become entirely independent any way and farther how they construct the underlying source of âEconomia SolidÃriaâ. The methodology adopted is like an empiric one or only âa caseâ through we concern with âRede Bodegasâ activities. Informations at issue were grasped through a questionnaire which comprises lessons about production, betterment, trading and distribution of economic outcome. Data that were researched provides a framework (schema) supported by CÃritas Diocesana de Fortaleza accord to the principles of âEconomia solidÃriaâ. This project has a clearly concern: bringing up gain for its agents such improvement income and environmental rectitude possessing, mutual cooperation and solidarity feeling. Hence, Caritas played a role especially with a logistic one: qualifying people, methodological, supervising, etc. According data interpretation itâs possible to construct a virtuous circle to Rede Bodegas that can be financial supported by Caritas. The result can be enjoyed by everyone who is comprised with the project in order to bring at all into account the dignity of people. For example, along with 8 diocese distributed all over the state (2006), there was minimal results, but those were at least important to advance the project tout court on a continuum. Then, âEconomia Popular SolidÃriaâ sets up a prominent future (the project can be settled by Caritas) and it gets farther.

Full textThe current period is seeing a growing proportion of "activist" workers who have expressly chosen their occupation in response to the need to defend collective interests and provide solutions to social and environmental problems. They hope to find in the so-called "hybrid organizations" combining market activity and social mission a framework for aligning their values and their profession. However, the divergent logics at work in these organizations tend to subject them to significant tensions, amplified or attenuated by the organizational context. We explore the responses to these tensions and the organizational practices that can support these workers. We identify how the individual gives meaning to persistent contradictions through storytelling. We demonstrate the organizational support made possible by the provision of CSR standards. We test the impact of personal social engagement on satisfaction with CSR and the intention to "blow the whistle" in case of perceived ethical drift, compared to other antecedents

Great amount of solid residues, produced by urban centers are destined to landfill sites and big dumps, although still represent some potential to generate new products or as an energy resource. Full textThe new model of capitalist accumulation, the "flexible accumulation", based on profit maximization to the detriment of labor rights, has been increasing precarious work, global scale unemployment related to social exclusion, and poverty in peripheral economies, like Brazil. However, forms of resistance arose from people seeking to generate employment and income. One of these forms is solidarity economy (SE). Solidarity economy restores a culture where worker cooperatives (guided by union, solidarity and reciprocity) generate income and development and contribute to repair the social tissue of spaces where cooperative work has been reassigned. This dissertation examines an example of SE initiative organized in a solidarity collaboration network: the Justa Trama Network - a supply chain of ecological cotton where small farmers, seed collectors, spinners, weavers, and seamstresses are involved. This chain is quite spatially significant. It begins in Tauá, in Northeast Brazil, where agroecological cotton is planted. The cotton thread is then developed in Pará de Minas, in the Southeast, at the Textile Production Cooperative (Coopertêxtil). Subsequently, they are joined by the Fio Nobre Cooperative, in Itajaí, and the Unidas Venceremos Cooperative, in Porto Alegre, both in Southern Brazil, where products of the Justa Trama brand are made. Clothes are embellished with seeds and dyes supplied by the Açaí Cooperative, from Porto Velho, in Northern Brazil. By analyzing meaning units within the speech of entrepreneurs involved in the Justa Trama Network, this dissertation aims to identify the forming elements of new territorialities/identities (space reassignment), based on reciprocity (among entrepreneurs) and solidarity (shared relations among people in the Network), values which are part of solidarity cooperativism. The chosen field research method was non-directive interviews and (focused) conversations, which were recorded and transcribed later. This method was considered the most adequate proceeding for a research focusing on the representation of individuals and the means by which they reassign spatial and economic interaction, as well as their sense of belonging to the Network. However, for the Justa Trama Network to succeed, other initiatives must also succeed, to which the ecological cotton supply chain is a reference. By dominating a field that favors the beginning of new articulations leading to the birth of new nets and local production arrangements, subjects of the Network are asserting their role as protagonists. Furthermore, they prove that Justa Trama's territory is a field that is open to the study of Geography.
