Abstract:
Learning media can convey lesson information to students and stimulate their thoughts, feelings, attention, and willingness, and it can encourage the learning process. The film presents various stories that contain the moral values ​of life. One of the films to choose from is Enola Holmes. Enola Holmes is a film released in 2020 adaptation of the Nancy Springer book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries. Enola Holmes is directed by Harry Bradbeer and written by Jack Thorne. This study aimed to determine the moral values ​​represented by the main character in the film Enola Holmes for character building in students. This study uses the formulation of Kemendikbud (2017). The data collection method is the documentation research method and the technique of collecting data from Miles & Huberman (1994). Researchers used descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study used subtitles in the film Enola Holmes. The findings of the study there are five moral values with eight sub-values ​​of moral values ​​in the Enola Holmes film. From the result, the writer can conclude that nationalist (self-sacrifice) is the most dominant moral value in Enola Holmes’ film.

Ketidaksetaraan gender pada abad ke-18 ditemukan dalam standarisasi perempuan dalam film Enola Holmes. Peneliti ingin melihat bentuk-bentuk emansipasi wanita yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh utama dalam film ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bidang emansipasi wanita yang diwakili oleh tokoh utama dalam film Enola Holmes (2020). Kedua, untuk mengetahui bagaimana perjuangan tokoh utama dalam mendapatkan keadilan dan hak pilih bagi perempuan dalam film Enola Holmes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis dan teori Mansour Fakih. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif untuk menganalisis data. Sumber data diambil dari beberapa dialog dan adegan dalam film Enola Holmes. Obyek penelitian berkaitan dengan emansipasi wanita. Studi ini menemukan bahwa Enola Holmes mewakili emansipasi wanita di bidang pendidikan, pekerjaan, politik, dan keluarga. Tokoh utama mendapatkan keadilan dan hak pilih bagi perempuan dengan membantu meratifikasi RUU Reformasi di Inggris pada era film Enola Holmes.

Abstract:
Abstract The popularity of film as an object in literary studies creates many adaptations of literary works from the written form into a film. The meaning of the film as a representation of the reality of society is different from the film which is merely a reflection of reality. As a reflection of reality, films only transfer reality to the screen without changing that reality. Meanwhile, as a representation of reality, films shape and re-present reality based on the codes, conventions, and ideologies of culture. The Enola Holmes film is the result of the novel by Nancy Springer, namely The Case of the Missing Marquess: An Enola Holmes Mystery which was later made into a film by Herry Bradbeer. The film was set around the Victorian era in the nineteenth century in England. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of the semiotic code regarding feminism at the level of reality and the level of ideology. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The results of the research on the representation of feminism on the character of Enola Holmes in this semiotic analysis show that (1) the representation of feminism at the reality level includes appearance, costume, make-up, the way of speaking, expression, attitude, behavior, environment, and movement, (2) representation of feminism in the ideological level, which is represented by the flow of liberal feminism where discrimination against women is treated unfairly as in the character of Enola Holmes. Keywords: Enola Holmes; Feminism; Film; John Fiske; Semiotic Abstrak Popularitas film sebagai sebuah objek dalam kajian sastra menciptakan banyaknya adaptasi karya sastra dari bentuk tulisan ke dalam sebuah film. Dalam beberapa dekade, sederet film yang sukses secara komersil maupun apresiasi akademis merupakan hasil transformasi dari karya sastra, khususnya novel. Makna film sebagai representasi dari realitas masyarakat berbeda dengan film yang sekedar sebagai refleksi dari realitas. Sebagai refleksi dari realitas, film hanya sekedar memindahkan realitas ke layar tanpa mengubah realitas itu. Sementara itu, sebagai representasi dari realitas, film membentuk dan menghadirkan kembali realitas berdasarkan kode-kode, konvensi-konvensi dan ideologi dari kebudayaan. Film Enola Holmes merupakan hasil dari novel karya Nancy Springer, yakni The Case of the Missing Marquess: An Enola Holmes Mystery yang kemudian diangkat menjadi film oleh Herry Bradbeer. Film ini mengambil latar sekitar zaman Victoria pada abad ke sembilan belas di Inggris. Pada masa itu, kaum perempuan masih terikat dengan standar sosial, stigma dan diskriminasi. Isu feminisme tentu menarik perhatian karena selama ini perempuan sering digambarkan hanya sebagai objek narasi yang pasif, pemeran sampingan, bahkan objek erotis utama dalam film. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna kode semiotika mengenai feminisme dalam level realitas dan level ideologi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika John Fiske. Hasil penelitian representasi feminisme pada tokoh Enola Holmes dalam analisis semiotika ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) representasi feminisme pada level realitas mencankup penampilan, kostum, tata rias, cara berbicara, ekspresi, sikap, perilaku, lingkungan, dan gerakan, (2) representasi feminisme pada level ideologi yakni terepresentasi mewakili aliran feminisme liberal di mana diskriminasi perempuan diperlakukan tidak adil seperti pada tokoh Enola Holmes. Abstract:
The Enola Holmes film is a kind of film that mostly talks about patriarchal society, oppressions, stereotypes, and women’s power. This paper explores the power relations and patriarchal society portrayed in the film Enola Holmes. This research used a qualitative method focusing on dialogues and scenes that contained power relations and patriarchal society from Enola Holmes's film script. Using the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) of Norman Fairclough and the power relations of Michel Foucault, I analyze the relation between patriarchal society and the power relations portrayed in the film. The finding of the data analysis showed that the discourse produced in this film script is that patriarchy is a very bad thing, and thus, it should be banished. Thus, women should be given more room and space in society.

Banyak kajian sastra feminis yang menempatkan tokoh utama sebagai pusat pembahasannya. Namun beberapa penelitian mengabaikan peran karakter minor. Faktanya, tokoh utama tidak bisa berdiri sendiri tanpa tokoh minor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tokoh minor bernama Eudoria Holmes mempengaruhi putrinya, Enola Holmes untuk mewujudkan prinsip dan nilai feminisme liberal berdasarkan teori Marilley dalam film Enola Holmes (2020) dan Enola Holmes 2 (2022). Para peneliti menggunakan konsep feminisme untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana feminisme liberal ditampilkan dalam film. Data pendukung diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, seperti buku, artikel, dan jurnal terkait diskriminasi gender, stereotip terhadap perempuan, dan feminisme. Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan feminis. Para peneliti menemukan ada tiga jenis feminisme liberal. Yang pertama adalah feminisme persamaan hak; Eudoria mempengaruhi Enola untuk memiliki sekelompok orang yang berbicara satu suara agar dapat didengar. Yang kedua adalah feminisme ketakutan; Eudoria yang pertama kali mengalami ketakutan dan ketidakamanan di masyarakat membuat Enola terjerumus ke dalam situasi tidak aman dan tidak nyaman karena tidak mengikuti standar masyarakat. Yang terakhir adalah feminisme pengembangan pribadi; Eudoria mengajak Enola berpikir kritis dari berbagai sudut pandang. Singkatnya, kajian ini memperkaya pembahasan feminisme melalui kacamata karakter minor yang jarang dieksplorasi.

Abstract:
The pursuit of dreams by women often results in a complex state of ambivalence, as they contend with societal, familial, and personal obstacles. This underscores the need for a new cultural narrative that reconciles the strengths and weaknesses of women. Our research focuses on examining the portrayal of woman's power in the novel and film Enola Holmes. Utilizing a qualitative approach and Betty Friedan's liberal feminism as a framework, we explore the multifaceted nature of female empowerment as represented by the character Enola Holmes. Our findings reveal that Enola's aspiration to become a detective symbolizes female empowerment but is marked by ambivalence. A form of ambivalence can be seen when Enola ends up in boarding school, falls in love with a man, gets help from male friend, gets a culture shock, and uses the name “Holmes”; Eudoria’s absence after her enthusiastic efforts of teaching Enola and making a plan for reform bill with her feminist movement; Dowager's plan to kill Tewkesbury is defeated by Enola Holmes and Tewkesbury; women oppressing women through the character Enola Holmes fights Edith and Enola Holmes argues Miss Harrison. Therefore, these complexities suggest a paradox: efforts to challenge patriarchal norms can inadvertently reinforce the culture they seek to change. In conclusion, our study highlights the nuanced nature of female empowerment in "Enola Holmes," offering insights into the intricate interplay between women's agency and societal norms in the ongoing struggle for gender equality.

Abstract:
Film is not merely a medium to entertain but also a reflection of society's values and conditions. This research deals with the portrayal of feminism in the film of Enola Holmes in the era of 19th century through its main character of the film ‘Enola’. It uses the qualitative method by employing the theory of semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce, which categorizes signs into three related parts, namely representamen, object, and interpretant. The data was taken by identifying and interpreting the signs through the scenes of the films, including icon, index, and symbol. The findings show that the film represents the feminist values through the character of Enola, such as independent, intellectual, showing freedom of choice, gender equality, and right to privacy. The character challenged the social norms in the 19th century, which still positioned women as inferior social beings and were oppressed by the patriarchal system. The film also brings relevant messages as it also indirectly criticizes the present women issues through the historical lens.

Film berperan sebagai alat komunikasi massa yang berfungsi untuk mempengaruhi penonton berdasrkan isi pesan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Film Enola Holmes 2 merupakan film bergenre misteri yang berlatarkan tahun 1800-an di London Inggris. Film ini menceritakan tentang kejadian di masa lampau di mana pada saat itu para buruh belum mendapatkan kesejahteraan dan hak-hak mereka dalam bekerja. Dari film ini karakter perempuan sekaligus tokoh utamanya digambarkan sebagai subjek narasi aktif yang kerap menyampaikan pesan-pesan feminisme. Topik feminisme menjadi alasan peneliti memilih film ini karena selama ini perempuan hanya digambarkan sebagai objek yang pasif dalam sebuah film. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Dalam film ini menggambarkan perempuan yang berada dalam posisi yang tidak menguntungkan akibat kontruksi sosial budaya yang dibangun oleh masyarakat.

Abstract Netflix’s Enola Holmes (2020) adapts Nancy Springer’s young adult novels by the same name for a new generation of viewers, using the affordances of film to engage varied source material and generic conventions. The film replicates often-used tropes and themes of both Neo-Victorian narratives and young adult literature and media—most notably, girl empowerment in a restrictive society. At the same time, Enola Holmes also challenges the notion of a bad or absent mother figure in children’s literature, complicating the character of Eudoria Holmes from Springer’s novels. While issues of adaptation are most obvious with regard to the Sherlock Holmes canon and Springer novels, Enola Holmes also employs Jane Eyre as an intertext, between shared characteristics in the plot and characterization as well as the use of direct address to speak to the viewer. With a familiar message promoting girl power and social activism, the rhetorical move made by Enola’s direct address invites the viewer to participate in the narrative.

Abstract:
This research aims to identify the features of women's language used in Enola Holmes 2 Film based on Robin Lakoff’s theory (1973) and to analyse the functions of women's language that appears in Enola Holmes 2 Film based on Judy C. Pearson (1985). The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative research method, which discusses and observes the data source. The data analysed were collected by transcribing the film Enola Holmes 2. In total, there are 70 data collected from the data source. The collected data were then classified based on 10 features of women's language proposed by Lakoff in 1973. The results of this study show that 8 (eight) features of women’s language appear in Enola Holmes 2. The dominant feature that appears in the data source is lexical hedges or filler with 30 data in total (43%). Others are classified as rising intonation on declaratives for 13 data (19%), 7 data of tag questions (10%), 7 data of emphatic stress (10%), 6 data of intensifiers (9%), 3 data of avoidance to strong swear words (4%), 2 data of super polite form (3%), and 2 data of empty adjectives (3%). Then, the functions of women’s language found in the data source are to express feeling as much as 34 data (49%), 12 data to start discussion (17%), 10 data to express uncertainty (14%), and 8 data to get respond (11%). The function of women’s language that is less used in the data source is to soften utterance, 6 data or 9%.

Intend to explain the relation between the feministic ideas and the concept of postmodernism. It is argued that the narrative of Enola Holmes reuses and recycles narrative of Sherlock Holmes in form of pastiche so to extend the pre-existing grand narrative of Sherlock Holmes. The extension makes it possible to render a portrayal of independent and self-determined female detective.

Abstract:
The intriguing facets of Enola Holmes' character in the eponymous film, encompassing her intelligence, independence, resourcefulness, and defiance of societal norms, have captured the researchers' interest, prompting a comprehensive exploration using an archetypal framework. This research aims to unravel the symbolic patterns that shape Enola's identity and, in turn, enlighten people about the diverse facets of human character and individuality. The researchers utilized a qualitative descriptive methodology, delineating the research design encompassing procedures such as watching, data gathering, classification, identification, and contextual as well as theoretical analysis of monologues and dialogues within the movie. The subject of the research was the protagonist of the Enola Holmes movie. The results indicated that among 51 data samples, five archetypal types were identified, including self, ego, persona, shadow, and animus. The most prevalent archetype in Enola's character is animus, highlighting her portrayal as a woman with masculine characteristics. The shadow archetype plays a minimal role in her personality, signifying that Enola embodies her internal desires and nonconformist elements.

This study aims to analyse the costumes that the main character wears in the movie ‘Enola Holmes’ by using Charles Sanders (CS) Peirce’s theory. The data in this study was collected by watching the movies several times and taking notes on the costumes worn by Enola Holmes, the main character in this movie. The data analysis was done by identifying the signs in the costumes and interpreting their meanings based on CS Peirce’s semiotic theory, which divides signs into icons, indexes, and symbols. The result of this study shows that Enola Holmes’ costumes function as icons, indexes, and symbols. As icons, the costumes directly represent the Victorian era and Enola’s various disguises. As indexes, the costumes reflect Enola’s actions, emotions, and experiences. Furthermore, as symbols, the costumes convey meanings related to gender roles, courage, independence, and family heritage. This study helps in gaining an understanding of how film costumes can be used to communicate storylines and to develop characters.

Abstract. Fillmore is modern linguistic figure who pioneered the emergence of case grammar theory. He stated that case grammar is a new version of the theory modified from the old theory, namely generative transformation grammar. He developed case grammar after seeing a problem with the grammar of generative transformations. Thus, he declared that case grammar consists of two basic components: modality and proposition. In a line with this background, the purposes of this study are: (1) to reveal the modality in the film “Enola Holmes” based on the perspective of Charles J. Fillmore; (2) to reveal the preposition in the film “Enola Holmes” based on the perspective of Charles J. Fillmore. The type of this study is qualitative descriptive study. Data is in the form of conversation in the film. Thus, the data were taken through watching, listening, and note-taking techniques. The data was analyzed by using three steps. They are data reduction: researchers classified data based on elements of case grammar theory including modalities and propositions, data presentation: researchers displayed data in the form of the table in accordance of modalities and propositions, and interpreted data based on case grammar theory, and conclusion: researchers conducted data induction from interpretation results and ensured that the interpretation results fulfilled the elements of case grammar theory. The results show that the modality in the film “Enola Holmes” based on the perspective of Charles J. Fillmore consists of three modalities. They are tense modality, adverb modality, and negation modality. At the same time, the proposition consists of ten types. They are agentive case (A), experiential case (E), instrument case (I), objective case (O), source case (S), goal case (G), locative case (L), time case (T), companion case (CMP), and benefactive case (B). The results of this study strengthen Fillmore’s theory which states that as a part of sentence structures, modalities and propositions have types and forms and in the context of English film dialogue, the emergence of modalities and propositions is influenced by sentence structure used by the speaker in conveying his meaning.Keywords: Case Grammar, Film, Modality, Proposition

This study uses Enola Holmes movie script 2020 to reveal the types of grammatical cohesions. The theories used are the theory of Hasan and Halliday (1976). This study uses qualitative approach. The technique of data collection of this study is documentary. This study is analysed by using document as the data that are already transcribed. Based on the finding and data analysis, the writer finds 107 data of all the types of grammatical cohesion, they are: reference (81), substitution (3), ellipsis (12), and conjunction (11). The most dominant grammatical cohesion types used in the movie script is demonstrative reference “this” that occurs 17 times.AbstrakPenelitian ini menggunakan naskah film Enola Holmes 2020 untuk mengungkapkan jenis-jenis kohesi gramatikal. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Hasan dan Halliday (1976). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan dan analisis data, penulis menemukan 107 data dari semua jenis kohesi gramatikal, yaitu; referensi (81), substitusi (3), elipsis (12), dan konjungsi (11). Abstract:
Directed by Harry Bradbeer, Enola Holmes (2020) portrays a 16-year-old girl who searches for her mother who disappeared while fighting for women’s rights to vote. In this movie, Victorian women are bound by a law that forbids them from having the right to vote. This article aims to identify and describe women’s rebellion in their struggle for voices in the Victorian era. Employing Bartlett's rebellious feminism within a feminist perspective of John Stuart Mill, the article analyses how Eudoria Holmes, a female character, undergoes dangerous ways in attempt to fight for women's rights to vote. Using the script and cinematographical elements, the film analysis reveals that Eudoria Holmes rebels against the values of Victorian society on three levels: individual, familial, and societal. Becoming an independent and courageous mother, she plants the seeds of rebellion to her daughter, Enola Holmes. Moreover, Eudoria also establishes a secretive women’s circle to build solidarity with the purposes of social and political activism in the form of women's suffrage campaigns.

Abstract:
The present study aimed at investigating the violation of politeness maxims of Leech (2014) and the interlocutor’s responses in the movie of Enola Holmes 2020. This study focuses on discussing violations of decency according to Leech and illocutionary acts where there is an action in acting an utterance and a response to what is done. The source of the data was taken from the utterances or dialogue spoken by the characters in this film, the method used is the documentation method by observing the film and then making a transcript of the conversation according to the required data then watching the video and reading the script repeatedly. A qualitative descriptive research design was used in this study. In line with that, Leech's theory of politeness maxims (2014) and illocutionary acts (1993) were used to analyze the research data. Based on the analysis, it was found 7 types of maxims, namely generosity maxim, tact maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, obligation O to S maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim. Then, the interlocutor’s responses also found 4 types in this movie were Competitive, Convivial, Collaborative and Conflictive, the most appears of violation politeness maxim was Collaborative functions (33,3%), while the most least was Convivial functions (5,5%). There were lots of interlocutor’s reactions by the characters of the movie such as angry, smiling, offended, etc.

Prizadevanje držav za zagotavljanje svetovnega miru je postala prednostna naloga. Trend združenega delovanja enot je vsesplošno prisoten in uveljavljen. Velik razkorak med zmožnostmi in resnično izvedbo združenega delovanja je privedel do tega, da so se začeli povezovati nacionalni sistemi poveljevanja in kontrole na ravni operativnega delovanja. Povezovanje sistemov zahteva predvsem standardizacijo postopkov in opreme, zato standardizacija ni več omejena le na nacionalno raven, temveč mora biti globalna. Sodobni vojaški sistemi poveljevanja in kontrole so usmerjeni v optimalno reševanje nalog. Zgrajeni so mrežno, omogočajo vključevanje sedanjih in prihodnjih modulov ter komunicirajo med seboj brez dodatnih vmesnikov. S pravilnima usklajevanjem in delitvijo resursov pa precej zmanjšamo tudi materialna in finančna sredstva. Ognjena podpora ima v nalogah zagotavljanja miru pomembno vlogo. Velika ognjena moč zagotavlja premoč na bojišču, saj ognjena podpora pomeni skupno in usklajeno uporabo ognjenega delovanja kopenskih, mornariških ter zračnih bojnih sistemov in delovanja ofenzivnih sistemov elektronskega bojevanja ter neubojnih sredstev na cilje na kopnem in morju. Za zagotavljanje takšnega delovanja moramo imeti razvit ustrezen računalniški sistem, ki poveže vse komponente v sistem upravljanja ognjene podpore. V potrditev pomembnosti ognjene podpore je v novejšem času prišlo do izvedbe ra- čunalniškega vmesnika, ki poveže sisteme upravljanja ognjene podpore posameznih držav v celoto in omogoča skupno delovanje. Vmesnik je izveden tako, da obdržimo nacionalne delovne procese. Tako se ni treba dodatno izobraževati in usposabljati. Slovenska vojska sledi globalizacijskim usmeritvam. Dokaz je nabava ustreznega operativnega in taktičnega sistema z možnostjo mednarodne povezave. Žal nekateri sistemi Slovenske vojske nimajo te zmožnosti. Med njimi je sistem upravljanja ognjene podpore. Čeprav je sistem sodoben, brez ustrezne povezave tako v nacionalnem kot mednarodnem okolju izgublja veliko prednosti, zato se na tem področju iščejo nove, ustreznejše rešitve povezav, ki morajo izpolnjevati današnje in prihajajoče zahteve. Prav tako lahko aplikacijo rešitve povzamemo tudi za druge avtonomne sisteme, kot je sistem za zagotavljanje obveščevalnih podatkov ali sistem vodenja logistike. Zavest, da nova standardizacija in mednarodna povezanost ne pomenita povečanja stroškov, temveč kakovostno izboljšanje delovanja in materialno zmanjšanje potrebnih sredstev, naj bo glavno vodilo. The effort of the countries to provide global peace has become a priority. The trend of combined unit operations is universally present and established. A large gap between the potential and actual execution of combined operations has led to the integration of national command and control (C2) systems at the operational level. The integration of systems primarily requires the standardization of procedures and equipment. The standardization is thus no longer limited solely to the national level, but it should be global. Modern C2 systems are directed towards optimal completion of tasks. Built as networks, they allow for the integration of the existing and future modules and for their communication without additional interfaces. With a proper coordination and allocation of resources we also substantially reduce the material and financial resources. Fire support plays an important role in providing security during peace tasks. At the same time, great fire power ensures battlefield superiority, since it includes joint and coordinated use of fire from land, navy and air engagement systems, and offensive operation of electronic warfare systems and non-lethal means against land and sea targets. Such operations require an appropriate computer system which links all the components into a fire support management system. The awareness of the importance of fire support has led to the development of a computer interface, which connects fire support management systems of individu- al countries into a whole and thus enables joint operations. The interface was made in a way to preserve national work processes. Further education and training are therefore not necessary. The Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) follows the globalization trends. To this end, it has acquired an operational and tactical system capable of international connections. Unfortunately, some SAF systems, namely the fire support management system, do not include this feature. Although the system is a modern one, it loses a great deal of benefits due to the lack of appropriate national and international links. Therefore, new and more appropriate solutions for connections, capable of fulfilling contempo- rary and future requirements, are sought-after. The application of the solution can also be applied to other autonomous systems, such as the intelligence system or the logistics management system. The main principle shall be the awareness that new standardization and international cooperation do not incur increased costs, but rather a quality improvement of the operations and a quan- titative reduction of the required resources.

Povzetek V članku Slovensko vojaško letalstvo danes in čez 20 let nas avtor skozi kratko zgodovino vojaškega letalstva v Sloveniji popelje do trenutnih karakteristik slov-enskega vojaškega letalstva. V nadaljevanju avtor s pomočjo dejstev slovenske vojaške obrambne politike in fokusiranja Slovenske vojske (SV) na bataljonske bojne skupine predlaga karakteristike v razvoju slovenskega vojaškega letalstva, ki morajo poleg vloge podpore bojnim enotam SV temeljiti na združenih funkci-jah, kot so poveljevanje in kontrola (PINK); ognjena podpora; premik in manever; zaščita in vzdržljivost združenega bojevanja. Najpomembnejše vprašanje pa je, kaj je treba narediti, da bodo te karakteristike oblikovane na temeljih združenih funkcij. Vsekakor ima slovenska obrambna politika, podprta z vojaškim načinom mišljenja, pomembno vlogo pri postavitvi teh značilnosti. Ključne besede: slovensko vojaško letalstvo, karakteristike, zavezništvo, združene funkcije. Abstract This article, ‘The Characteristics of the Slovenian Armed Forces Air Force (SA-FAF) : now and 20 years in the future’, will lead us through a brief history to-wards the characteristics of today’s Slovenian Armed Forces Air Force. In addi-tion, the article will, with the help of the Slovenian security policy through the Slovenian Armed Forces, whose focus is on Battalion Battle Groups, present the future characteristics of the Slovenian Armed Force Air Force, which, besides fulfilling a supporting role, should be built on a foundation of the joint functions – command and control (C2); intelligence; fire power movement and manoeu-vres; protection; and sustainment – of joint warfare. However, the key question is: what decisions should be made and what action taken to get us from here to there? Slovenian security policy, supported by a military way of thinking, plays the key role, and is the enabler for building new future characteristics based on joint functions. Abstract:
As time goes by, fiction has become a medium that satisfies people’s wishes. This phenomenon happens because the purpose of popular fiction is to fulfill people's demands of plot lines. Therefore, the storyline or narrative of the story is a crucial point in discussing popular fiction. Genre becomes the key point in discussing the formulation of a story. This formulation is based on convention and one of the famous formulations is the genre of detective. One of the famous works of detectives is Sherlock Holmes. Holmes has created his own world and has produced so many adaptations. One of the adaptations that hooked people's attention is a spin-off work of Sherlock Holmes, Enola Holmes. Enola Holmes is a novel series written by Springer that got recognition from many people because she wrote a story on the line of Sherlock Holmes’s canonical story. Due to the fame, this series got adapted into film as Jack Thorne rewrote the story based on the original. However, Enola—written by Springer and Thorne—represents a contra point in the formulation. In order to discover and prove the formulation, this study focuses on using genre critcisim focusing on the formulation of feminist in the objects. Furthermore, this study also uses genre theories by Cawelti and Gelder in conducting the discussion. This research proves that Enola is a detective story by following the classical detective formula following the original formulation by Doyle on Sherlock. The problem of contra point is represented in the invention or innovation of the detective genre as it is taking women as the detective and main villain and a mystery around women characters.
