Merk: Denne artikkelen ble publisert i tidsskriftet FOU i praksis. Tidsskriftet skiftet navn til Nordisk tidsskrift for utdanning og praksis i september 2019. Hovedtemaet i artikkelen er hvordan en praksisnær lærerutdanning i engelsk ved UiT Norges arktiske universitet kan videreutvikles. Vi diskuterer hvordan integrerte «praksisopplegg» kan forberede lærerstudenter ytterligere til deres profesjonelle rolle i skolen, med fokus på undervisning i engelsk grammatikk og uttale i lys av teori om språklæring. Viktige parter i arbeidet er Universitetsskoleprosjektet ved UiT, faglærere ved Institutt for lærerutdanning og pedagogikk ved UiT og studenter i mastergradsprogram i lærerutdanning. Datagrunnlaget i prosjektet er hentet fra spørreundersøkelser blant deltakende masterstudenter, og funnene tyder på at «praksisopplegg» som strategi kan være positive bidrag i studentenes forberedelse til å undervise i engelsk språk. English abstract English title: Improving theory and practice integration in teacher education: An example from the subject of English This article discusses a strategy to improve the connection between theory and practice within teacher education English courses at UiT the arctic university of Norway. It discusses how integrated ‘praksisopplegg’ may help student teachers prepare for their teaching profession, in particular for developing pedagogical competence in teaching grammar and pronunciation. Important partners in this project are the University project at UiT, teachers at the Department of Education, UiT, and student teachers in the Master of Education programme. The data material is collected via questionnaires distributed to participating students, and the findings suggest that the strategy ‘praksisopplegg’ can give positive outcomes in helping student teachers improve their pedagogical skills in teaching English (in particular, grammar and pronunciation) in Norwegian schools.

D en danske model er ikke alene hyldet herhjemme men også berømt i udlandet. Den udenlandske interesse kan spores tilbage til Galensons bog fra 1950'erne, som først udkom på engelsk og siden på dansk. I denne fremhæves den danske arbejdsmarkedsmodels historiske rødder i Septemberforliget fra 1899. Forfatteren fremhæver, hvorledes det historiske kompromis fra dengang lagde fundamentet for en organisering af arbejdsmarkedet, som ideelt set overlader det til arbejdsmarkedets parter selv at regulere forholdene på arbejdsmarkedet, og hvor staten kun intervenerer i de tilfælde, hvor det ikke lykkes for partene at forhandle sig frem til en løsning. Med introduktionen af flexicurity-begrebet tiltrak den danske måde at organisere arbejdsmarkedet på sig igen international interesse på grund af evnen til at kombinere en relativ høj grad af social sikring med stor flexibilitet på arbejdsmarkedet. Blandt arbejdsmarkedets parter, politikere og arbejdsmarkedsforskere ses 'modellen' som et foregangseksempel og som noget, som andre misunder os på grund af dens unikhed og fortræffeligheder. Dette afspejles ikke mindst i de mange advarsler, der fra tid til anden lyder om, at modellen skulle være truet fra forskellige fronter. Men spørgsmålet er, hvad der egentlig ligger i begrebet 'den danske model', og om den virkelig er så unik og fortræffelig, som den hjemlige diskurs synes at indikere? Hvordan begrebet 'den danske model' end bliver forstået og brugt, så er det vigtigt at forholde sig til den centrale problematik, som drejer sig om, hvorledes arbejdsmarkedet reguleres i Danmark. Til alle tider har dette spørgsmål impliceret analysen af nogle helt centrale, politiske og økonomiske magtforhold i samfundet. Relationen mellem køber og sælger af arbejdskraft, mellem arbejdsgiveren og lønmodtageren er helt central for produktion af varer og tjenester og fordelingen af disse i samfundet. Dermed er det jo selve velfærdssamfundets grundlag, der er i spil, og det handler i høj grad om, hvorledes interessemodsætningerne mellem køberne og sælgerne af arbejdskraften bliver håndteret i samfundet. Med andre ord er spørgsmålet, om arbejdsmarkedets regulering et helt igennem politisk tema. Disse spørgsmål åbenbarede sig meget tidligt i det moderne samfunds historie. De klassiske økonomer og sociologer søgte at finde begreber og teorier, der kunne bringe fornuft i det kaos af forandringer, som kapitalismen indvarslede. Specielt viste problemet sig at være de tilbagevendende kriser med deraf følgende nød, elendighed og social uro. I Danmark blev dette såkaldte 'arbejderspørgsmål' debatteret i hele sidste halvdel af det 19. århundrede, og et af resultaterne af konflikterne var forliget mellem arbejdsgivere og fagforeninger i 1899. Som nævnt er det her, vi finder det, som mange betegner som grundstenen til 'den danske model'. Nogenlunde samtidigt blev nogle af demokratiets og parlamentarismens børnesygdomme kureret, og staten

Gennem de seneste årtier har der været en stigende opmærksomhed på læring og kompetenceudvikling i arbejdslivet. Både ud fra lærings- og effektivitetsmæssige og ud fra demokratiske og emancipatoriske perspektiver kan der argumenteres for ideen om at knytte uddannelsesaktiviteter til arbejdslivet. Arbejdsmarkedets parter er da generelt også enige om, at der er et behov for kompetenceudvikling og en styrkelse af voksen- og efteruddannelsesindsatsen. Til gengæld er det ikke entydigt, hvad der ligger bag ordene, når virksomheder og deres medarbejdere definerer kompetenceudvikling og læring, som også ovennævnte perspektivers forskellighed antyder. Artiklen sætter ud fra en uddannelsessociologisk vinkel fokus på, hvordan virksomheder og medarbejdere ser forskelligt på den almene kursusundervisning, der knytter an til arbejdslivet. Med udgangspunkt i en empirisk analyse belyses det, hvilken betydning betingelserne i arbejdslivet, specielt for de kortuddannede, spiller for deltagelsen i almen kursusundervisning, samt hvorvidt og hvordan mødet mellem rollen som medarbejder og kursist skaber konflikter og særlige læringsrum. ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Annette Rasmussen: Perspectives and Conflicts Between Working Life and Education Lifelong learning has become a mantra of educational policy. Therefore, the development of general competences in working life has enjoyed growing attention, and several projects have been undertaken to increase the participation of low skilled workers in general adult education in Denmark. This article draws on findings from a recent research project which focused on the encounter between working life and education. It considers cases in which low skilled workers attended courses that were established by adult education centres and private or public enterprises. It focuses on the conflicting logics of work and education and the sometimes divergent perspectives of employers and employees on the meaning of such courses. It illustrates how meaning attached to adult and workplace education and learning reflects the perspectives of the various stakeholders; and it shows how power relations are implicitly part of the pedagogical strategies employed in the educations. The concepts of interests and investments are important tools in this analysis. Observations from the courses and interviews with participants outline the tensions and contradictions which have arisen from the meeting of working life and education. Bolig, familieliv og hjemfølelse er historisk og kulturelt tæt knyttet sammen. I denne artikel er vi derfor interesseret i, hvad der sker med forholdet til boligen og med hjemfølelsen, når familien går i opløsning, og en eller begge parter flytter i forbindelse med en skilsmisse. Artiklen rummer dels en teoretisk introduktion til den internationale teori vedrørende bolig og hjemfølelse, dels en analyse af kvalitative interview med fraskilte om deres praktiske og følelsesmæssige forhold til deres bolig og hjem før og efter skilsmissen. Analysen peger på, at de følelsesmæssige bånd til en familiebolig kan forsvinde i dét øjeblik, beslutningen om en skilsmisse er truffet. Det praktiske arbejde med at etablere og indrette et nyt hjem kan blive en vigtig måde at søge ny identitet som enlig, og problemer med at finde et sted at bo, og deraf følgende midlertidige boliger, kan derfor gøre livet efter skilsmissen ekstra svært. Undersøgelsen peger endvidere på, at til trods for at mange fraskilte oplever det positivt at bo alene i en periode, så lever drømmen om kernefamilie og familiebolig videre. De fleste interviewpersoner giver således udtryk for, at de forestiller sig, at de på et tidspunkt etablerer en ny familiebolig med en ny partner. ENGELSK ABSTRACT: Kirsten Gram-Hanssen & Claus Bech-Danielsen: Divorce and Housing: Where does the Feeling of Being Home Move? House and home are historically and culturally closely connected to family life. In this article we investigate the ways in which the housing situation and the feeling of home are affected by divorce – when some or all members of the family move out of the matrimonial house. The article is based on an international literature review on the meaning of housing and home and on qualitative interviews of four men and five women in Denmark who were interviewed about their experiences with housing and home while being divorced. The article points out that emotional relations to the matrimonial house may disappear at the very moment the decision is made to divorce. It also points out that the practical work of creating a new home can play an important role in the process finding a new identity as a single parent. Many people find that life after being divorced is very difficult, when problems in finding a new house result in a number of temporary housing situations. Finally it is stressed that, even though many divorcees have positive experiences living alone, they never give up the dream of the nuclear family. Most of the interviewees picture themselves living in a new matrimonial house with a future partner. Key words: Housing, home, divorce, family, qualitative interviews.

Abstract:
This article discusses Karl Marx and Friedrich Nietzsche’s critique of religion and its relevance to the rise of secularism. Marx reduced religion to the realm of the social, material and ideological. Nietzsche, on the other hand, provided historical and psychological explanations of religion. These discourses about religion shattered the spiritual and metaphysical foundation of religion as well as of religious truths. Abstract:

The main aim with this essay is to look how Dorothy Parker portrays women who drink. My main focus is at Dorothy Parker’s story “Big Blonde” but also her stories, “Dialogue at Three in the Morning”, “A Terrible Day Tomorrow”, “Just a Little One” and “A Woman in Green Lace”. Inspired by Ellen Lansky, who points out that Panopticon and Panopticism can be applied on all-male institutions and men, my analysis proves that Foucault’s Panopticism can be used to describe masculine control of female drunkenness. Women behave in a certain way to please inspectors in the Panopticon. I this essay I argue that there are two types of drinking women in Parker’s stories. The “modern” and the “controlled” woman, who both are forced to submission by Panopticism.

Abstract:
Esta interlocução traz o cruzamento entre teóricos do eixo trabalho e educação, e os resultados empíricos de uma dissertação que trata do tema sentidos e significados do trabalho docente na Educação Infantil. É objetivo do artigo discutir o conceito da categoria trabalho, a partir da perspectiva histórica-ontológica proposta por Saviani (2007) em diálogo com os sentidos do trabalho docente para um grupo de professoras atuantes na Educação Infantil da Rede Municipal de um município no Vale do Rio Pardo- RS. O trabalho desenvolvido pelas docentes sofre a implicação dos fenômenos da precarização e da intensificação, sobretudo no período de crise sanitária ocasionada pelo Covid-19. É inegável que mudanças ocorreram no trabalho docente nestes últimos dois anos, marcados pelo isolamento social e afastamento das trabalhadoras de seus ambientes de trabalho e, sobretudo, dos educandos. Entendemos portanto, que o contexto pandêmico somado às demais condições laborais, implicou de forma significativa no sentido que as profissionais atribuíam à sua atividade de trabalho, sendo este, um dos principais resultados da pesquisa. Procuramos compreender e explicar como o conceito de trabalho foi se modificando com o passar do tempo, tendo como fundamentação teórica autores da teoria crítica, tais como Saviani (2007); Adorno (2000); Sarup (1986) e Marx e Engels (1974).
