Abstract:
Mortari emitter of sawdust (SG) can solve problem faced by farmers in dryland on irrigating their land. Aim of this research was to design an emitter by determining its mixture ratio and thickness. This research used experimental method by conducting experiment in laboratory. Observed parameters to determine water discharge were flow velocity, hydraulic conductivity value, coefficient of variation, and coefficient of uniformity. Ratio of cement, sand and sawdust to made sawdust (SG) mortari emitter were varied, i.e. P1 (1:2:2); P2 (2:1:3); P3 (2:4:4); P4 (2:2:2); and P5 (2:3:1). Result showed that the hydraulic conductivity could be classified as very low since K < 0.0036 cm/hour. The water discharge, flow velocity, and coefficient of uniformity were decreased in every reservoir elevation. Sawdust (SG) mortar emitter of P5 had the highest seeping ability and P3 had the lowest. The coefficient of uniformity (CU) value was 78,74%-80.64%. The use of Sawdust (SG) mortar emitter can be adjusted to the water discharge required by any plant type. The P3 emitter is suitable for plant which requires low water discharge and the P5 emitter is suitable for the high one. Keywords: water discharge, SG mortar emitter, hydraulic conductivity ABSTRAK Emiter mortari serbuk gergaji (SG) dapat memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi para petani lahan kering dalam mengairi lahannya. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah dapat merancang sebuah emiter dengan menentukan komposisi dan ketebalan emiter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental dengan percobaan laboratorium. Parameter untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian adalah mencari nilai debit aliran yang dapat dihasilkan emiter mortari SG dengan menentukan kecepatan aliran, nilai konduktivitas hidrolik, koefisien variasi dan koefisien keseragaman. Emiter mortari SG dalam pengujian dilakukan dengan mencampurkan semen, pasir, dan serbuk gergaji masing-masing dengan 5 perbandingan, yaitu P1 (1:2:2); P2 (2:1:3); P3 (2:4:4); P4 (2:2:2); dan P5 (2:3:1). Nilai konduktivitas hidrolik didapatkan hasil pengkelasan dalam kategori sangat rendah karena memiliki nilai K<0,0036 cm/jam. Debit aliran, kecepatan aliran, dan koefisien keseragaman mengalami penurunan setiap ketinggian reservoir. Dimana emiter mortari SG dengan perlakuan P5 memiliki kemampuan merembeskan air dengan nilai tertinggi dan P3 pada emiter dengan kemampuan terendah. Nilai koefisien keseragaman pada emiter mortari SG terdapat keragaman dengan nilai CU sebesar 78,74%-80,64 %. Penggunaan emiter mortari SG dapat disesuaikan dengan jumlah kebutuhan debit air yang dibutuhkan oleh jenis tanaman. Emiter P3 baik digunakan pada tanaman dengan debit air rendah dan emiter P5 baik untuk tanaman dengan debit air tinggi. Kata kunci: debit aliran, emiter mortari SG, konduktivitas hidrolik

Kerbatasan air menyebabkan pemanfaatan lahan kering belum maksimal dalam mendukung produksi pertanian di Indonesia. Teknologi irigasi hemat air dengan biaya yang terjangkau petani perlu terus dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan emiter irigasi berbentuk cincin yang dapat diletakkan di bawah permukaan tanah. Dalam penelitian ini diuji bahan berpori dari beberapa jenis kain yang permeabilitasnya menyerupai permeabilitas tanah pertanian. Diperoleh 5 jenis kain, yaitu jenis Legacy mempunyai permeabilitas 1.54 cm/jam, Colosal 0.76 cm/jam, Parasut 0.06 cm/jam, Kyramat 5.28 cm/jam dan Veronica 8.16 cm/jam. Jenis kain ini digulung menutupi selang air berlobang (diameter 5 mm dan jarak antar lubang 10 cm) yang dibentuk seperti cincin (emiter cincin). Emiter cincin ini kemudian diuji mengairi pot-pot tanaman melon dalam rumah kaca. Hasilnya, emiter cincin yang dibalut kain jenis Legacy dan Colossal mempunyai produktivitas air yang lebih tinggi, masing-masing 0.64 kg/m3 dan 1.90 kg/m3 dengan debit rata-rata 0.52 liter/jam dan 1.08 liter/jam.

Abstrak – Telah dilakukan penentuan parameter elektron plasma dalam Bejana Emiter (BE) berbasis besar arus lucut busur gas udara pada tegangan 10 kV untuk Ignitor Discharge Power Supply (IDPS) dan tegangan anoda 1 kV untuk Arc Discharge Power Supply (ADPS). Tekanan gas udara divariasi mulai dari 5,70 × 10-3 Torr hingga 7,90 × 10-3 Torr. BE terbuat dari Stainless Steel-304 (SS-304) silinder berdiameter ф = 4,00 cm dan panjang l = 66 cm, dipasangi grid berukuran 60 cm × 2,6 cm dan ditutup dengan frame yang terdiri dari 15 grup lubang (masing-masing berisi 10 lubang kecil berdiameter ф = 0,4 cm). Dari hasil eksperimen pada tekanan gas udara sekitar 6,8 × 10-3 Torr diperoleh arus berkas elektron pulsa terekstraksi sebesar 4,17 A pada tegangan tinggi ekstraksi 5 kV. Berdasarkan arus elekton terekstraksi tersebut, diperoleh kerapatan elektron plasma ne sebesar 3,15 × 1012 partikel/cm3 dan suhu elektron plasma Te sebesar 1,77 × 104 K ≈ 1,50 eV.Kata kunci: emitter, plasma, bejana emiter (BE), lucutan, kerapatan, suhu Abstract – The determination of plasma electron parameters in the Emitter Vessel (EV) based on arc dischage value of air gas has been conducted at 10 kV of Ignitor Discharge Power Supply (IDPS) and 1 kV of anode voltage for Arc Discharge Power Supply (ADPS). The air gas pressure was varied from 5.70 × 10-3 Torr to 7, 90 × 10-3 Torr. The EV was made from Stainless Steel-304 (SS-304) cylindrical shape with diameter ф of 4.00 cm and length l of 66 cm, fitted with 60.00 cm × 2.60 cm grid and covered with a frame consisting of 15 groups of holes (each containing 10 holes small diameter ф of 0.4 cm). From the experiment result at the average air gas pressure of about 6.80 × 10-3 Torr, it was obtained 4.17 A of extracted pulse electron beam current at 5 kV of extracted high voltage. Based on that extracted electron beam current, it was obtained 3.15 × 1012 particles/cm3 of plasma electron density ne and 1.77 × 104 K ≈ 1.50 eV of plasma electron temperature Te. Abstract:
The objectives of the research were (1) To know watermelon yield and irrigation water productivity of watermelon by used drip irrigation with nylon rope emitter on various time irrigation intervals, (2) To determined the good time irrigation interval for watermelon production by using the drip irrigation with nylon rope emitter. The research was conducted at the research field with four-time irrigation intervals were 1,2,3, and 4 days of time irrigation interval. The research was arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design. The result of the research showed that the time irrigation interval was not significantly affected yield and irrigation water productivity of watermelon. The soil moisture in the root zone at 30 cm depth of 23,23—23,88% before irrigation still in range of the available soil moisture content for plants. The average of watermelon yield and irrigation water productivity of watermelon were 5,07—5,45 kg/plant and 115,15—123,79 kg/m3. The good time interval of irrigation for watermelon production by using drip irrigation with rope emitter was 4 days time interval of irrigation.

Abstract:
This research was conducted in PT Nusantara Tropical Farm ( PT NTF) at Jepara, Margosakti, Labuhan Ratu, East Lampung District. The plants which were cultivated in PT NTF such as Cavendish banana, pineapple, crystal guava, and naga fruit. The irrigation being used to irrigated cavendish banana is drip irrigation method with Aries emitter type. Watering method of drip irrigation system that used for Cavendish banana is cross watering and block watering methods. The goals of this research were to determine the performance of drip irrigation line for Cavendish banana by using both kinds of watering method. The performance indicator of irrigation system included the conveyance efficiency, the uniformity coefficient, the length time irrigation, and the amount of fuel consumption for diesel machine of a pump. The result of this research showed that the value of the conveyance efficiency of drip irrigation with cross watering method was 90,2% and 80,0% for block watering method. The uniformity coefficient on cross watering method was 87,55% and 97,10% for block watering method. The amount of fuel consumption for 10,46 ha area with cross watering method was 29,49 l and 40,52 l for 10,2 ha area with block watering method.

Penelitian implementasi teknologi irigasi hemat air menggunakan sistem irigasi otomatis yang berbentuk emiter melingkar(cakram/cincin) bertenaga surya telah dilakukan. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan investasi pembuatan sistem irigasi cakram otomatis bertenaga surya, dilakukan analisis Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Interest (IRR), dan Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR). Suatu investasi dikatakan layak bila memenuhi kriteria sebagai berikut: (1) NPV lebih besar dari nol, (2) IRR lebih besar dari discount rate yang sedang berlaku, (3) BCR lebih besar dari 1. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem irigasi cakram otomatis bertenaga surya untuk pengembangan komoditas mangga, srikaya, anggur, dan cabe sangat layak untuk dilaksanakan, dengan nilai NPV dari investasi berkisar antara Rp 1.533.423,00 – Rp 21.995.452, nilai BCR antara 1,34 - 3,78, dan nilai IRR antara 17,38% - 34,10%. Implementasi sistem irigasi cakram otomatis bertenaga surya dengan pengembangan srikaya dan mangga paling layak dikembangkan di Pringgabaya dengan nilai NPV, BCR, dan IRR paling tinggi. Sedangkan implementasi irigasi cakram otomatis dengan hanya mengembangkan cabe tidak layak secara finansial karena nilai NPV < 0, nilai BCR < 1, dan nilai IRR < suku bunga 14%. Investasi pembuatan irigasi otomatis dengan sistem cakram rata-rata kembali modal pada tahun ke-4 hal ini tercermin dari nilai payback period (periode kembali modal).

Según el DSM-IV un niño que emite “a menudo” seis de 18 conductas debe etiquetarse con TDAH. Los maestros generalmente reportan la frecuencia de emisión “anormal”. El estudio averiguó la frecuencia de emisión de conductas del TDAH por niños “normales”. Maestros de primaria (N = 113) señalaron la frecuencia (0 = nunca; 3 = muy frecuentemente) con la que un niño “normal” emite en clase las conductas del TDAH incluidas en el DSM-IV. Según el 25.7% de los maestros, los niños normales emiten frecuentemente (más de cuatro veces por hora) seis o más conductas del TDAH. Las características sociodemográficas de los maestros y variables del contexto escolar se relacionaron con la frecuencia considerada como normal. Se concluyó que las conductas del TDAH son emitidas muy frecuentemente en clase por los niños normales. El juicio sobre si dicha frecuencia es o no anormal dependerá del subgrupo al que pertenecen los maestros. Por tanto, una misma conducta puede juzgarse como anormal por un maestro y como normal por otro. Los resultados son congruentes con la aproximación psicológica a la conducta anormal que postula que cada observador juzgará como normal o anormal una conducta conforme su propio criterio, determinado por factores culturales.

Las sentencias con calidad de cosa juzgada deben ser cumplidas en sus términos, como una garantíaconstitucional de la tutela jurisdiccional efectiva. Dentro de las diversas sentencias que seemiten, algunas corresponden a obligaciones dinerarias que deben ser asumidas por el Estado-demandado,contra quien se emite el apremio de multa o de remitir copias al Ministerio Públicoen caso de incumplimiento. Por ello, a través del presente trabajo abordaremos dichos aspectos vinculados no solo a la obligación del deudor de satisfacer la pretensión del acreedor sino a los apremios que se emiten contra la entidad estatal sea nacional, regional o local, a fin de establecer si dichos requerimientos vulneran garantías constitucionales o se incurre en omisiones al inobservar otras disposiciones vigentes en nuestro ordenamiento jurídico. Measurements of the emitter-injection efficiency and calculations of the emitter effective surface-recombination velocity are reported for polysilicon emitter transistors, i.e., bipolar transistors with a polysilicon–insulator tunnel-junction contact to the emitter. It is demonstrated that the emitter-injection efficiency increases significantly and the emitter effective surface-recombination velocity decreases by two orders of magnitude when a thin insulating layer is deliberately grown between the monocrystalline emitter surface and the polycrystalline contact.

The influence of varying the emitter-base geometry, i.e., the emitter width (WE), emitter contact–emitter edge distance (Wn), and base contact–emitter edge (Wp) on the on-state characteristics in 5.6 kV implantation free 4H-SiC BJTs are investigated. The BJTs present a clear emitter size effect pointing out that surface recombination has a significant influence on current gain (β). The results show that the influence of varying Wp on the β is higher than Wn. A distance of 3 μm between emitter contact and base contact to the emitter edge (Wn = Wp = 3 μm) is the optimized value to have a BJT with a high β, and low on-resistance (RON) at a given WE.

With the aid of a two-dimensional thermal-electrical model, the thermal stability of multi-finger power heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs) with uniform segmented emitter, and non-uniform segmented emitter are studied. It shows that both of them could lower the peak temperature and improve the non-uniformity of the collector current density distribution, and thus improve the thermal stability, compared with an HBT which has traditional non-segmented emitter structure. At the same time, the improvement capability of thermal stability for HBT with non-uniform segmented emitter is superior to that of HBT with uniform segmented emitter, ascribing to selectively divide the emitter fingers into various segments according to the difference of heat dissipation capability in emitter fingers. Furthermore, the improvement capability of thermal stability for HBT with non-uniform segmented emitter is enhanced exponentially as segment spacing increases. However, for HBT with uniform segmented emitter, the ability is less sensitive to the increasing of the segment spacing as it exceeds 6μm. Therefore, the technique of non-uniform segmented emitter is a better method for enhancing the thermal stability of power HBTs.

Abstract. In this study, an equivalent mechanical model was established for the clogging induced by soil suction under negative pressure during root-zone infiltration irrigation in a crop-free pot, and a state diagram was plotted for the clogging process induced by a single soil suction factor under negative pressure. Three groups of impact factor experiments were conducted using three different emitters: a flow-adjustable emitter with eight horizontal outlets (emitter L), a flow-adjustable emitter with two vertical outlets (emitter Q), and an anti-clogging material wrapped around the outer surface of emitter L (emitter K). The first group of experiments investigated the influence of irrigation pressure, the variation of irrigation pressure (range of 0.02 to 0.12 MPa), and the amount of sediment inside emitter L in Yunnan laterite. For the second group of experiments, two soil types (Yunnan laterite and yellow sand), two single-event irrigation volumes (170 and 250 mL), and two numbers of irrigation events (8 and 16) were used to quantitatively analyze the sediment content in emitter L. The third group of experiments used emitters L, Q, and K and involved quantitative analysis of the clogging differences in the different emitter types with two soil types (Yunnan laterite and yellow sand) and two numbers of irrigation events (24 and 64). Statistical analysis showed that irrigation pressure, soil type, irrigation pattern, and emitter type were significant (p &lt; 0.05) for the amount of sediment due to negative suction inside the emitter. The results demonstrate that emitter clogging induced by negative pressure tends to first decrease and then increase with increasing irrigation pressure. The amount of sediment that accumulates within an emitter is influenced by both the soil suction effect under negative pressure as well as soil flushing under positive pressure. Within emitter L, clogging induced by soil suction under negative pressure was more likely to occur when using Yunnan laterite rather than yellow sand soil. When both soil types were used in the test, emitter L was observed to be more prone to clogging induced by negative pressure compared to emitter Q, whereas emitter K exhibited the best anti-clogging performance. This study provides a quantitative account of the factors associated with clogging induced by negative pressure, and it provides a theoretical and experimental basis for gaining an in-depth understanding of emitter clogging during root-zone infiltration irrigation in Yunnan laterite. La creación de la Unión Europea estableció un sistema de derecho europeo que ha generado no pocos enfrentamientos con los sistemas jurídicos nacionales nacidos bajo el paradigma del Estado-nación. El presente artículo pretende realizar un análisis sobre la manera como se están resolviendo ciertos conflictos en los cuales están involucradas normas de derecho interno con normas de derecho comunitario europeo. Se emplea un método cualitativo, con técnicas de revisión documental, observación directa y comparación sobre fuentes primarias y secundarias; se seleccionaron 6 casos relevantes de países en donde se presentan disputas entre el derecho interno y el derecho europeo comunitario (Alemania, Francia, Austria, España e Italia). Las conclusiones señalan que el problema de la jerarquía se resuelve admitiendo al Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea TJUE como un tribunal de similar estatura que los tribunales nacionales; el derecho comunitario es tan vinculante como el derecho interno; las decisiones que emite el TJUE al conocer directamente los negocios son acatadas por los Estados miembros; los tribunales nacionales de la UE pueden emitir sus propias decisiones teniendo en cuenta las interpretaciones que el TJUE realice.

Bajo esta premisa, la investigación indagó sobre los criterios que influyen al momento de presentar el dictamen pericial, ante un juez o tribunal. Para ello se propone utilizar el método cualitativo, descriptivo, exploratorio y documental. Los resultados se obtuvieron a partir de la revisión bibliográfica, normativa, y del análisis y síntesis de la información obtenida. Las conclusiones reflejan que el dictamen pericial constituye un instrumento fundamental para dirimir las controversias técnico-contables, razón por la cual, se exige una preparación exigente -con evidencia amplia y suficiente- que contenga los requisitos mínimos de existencia, validez y eficacia, aspectos que, desde el punto de vista probatorio, le darán solidez a su conocimiento.

El presente estudio busca analizar las tarifas que los importadores cancelan a las instituciones que emiten los permisos para las importaciones. La información obtenida derivó del análisis y descripción de la información de las agencias de control y entrevistas a importadores del Ecuador. Los resultados permiten ver que las tarifas a cancelar para obtener los documentos de control previo, tienen valores variables conforme el tipo de requisito y la institución que lo emite. El estudio también visibiliza los valores de las tasas de las instituciones de control y detalla la cuantía a cancelar al Instituto Ecuatoriano de Normalización INEN por Certificado de Reconocimiento, que se sitúa en un promedio de $247,00. Las tarifas que se cancelan a la Agencia de Regulación, Control y Vigilancia Sanitaria ARCSA para productos extranjeros varían de $542,12 a $2.258,41; los Permisos de Funcionamiento de AGROCALIDAD y el Registro de Productos fertilizantes son de $1048,58 y $560,95 respectivamente. Se concluye que las tasas limitan a los nuevos y pequeños importadores en sus actividades comerciales y encarecen los precios de los productos importados.

La agricultura contribuye al cambio climático al emitir a la atmósfera aproximadamente el 13.5% de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) generadas por el hombre. Esto se presenta como consecuencia tanto de las labores agrícolas mecánicas –responsables de la emisión de dióxido de carbono–, como de la descomposición de los fertilizantes, herbicidas y madurantes aplicados al cultivo –los cuales emiten óxido nitroso principalmente–. El sector agrícola también sufre directamente el efecto del cambio climático, lo cual se refleja en fenómenos meteorológicos como tormentas, inundaciones y sequías, los cuales acortan el periodo de crecimiento de la planta y merman los rendimientos del cultivo. Este artículo describe la metodología identificada en el proyecto para modelar la huella de carbono generada durante la preparación y el levante del cultivo de la caña de azúcar, desde el punto de vista de la dinámica de sistemas, la cual representa una base para la formulación de modelos de simulación de mayor complejidad que permitan evaluar el comportamiento de las emisiones de GEI en el corto y largo plazo y contribuir así, como guía en la ejecución de proyectos externos. La propuesta metodológica tiene el potencial de contribuir al direccionamiento de futuras fases de la investigación actual aplicada en el sector azucarero.

Abstract Drip irrigation systems have become a major part of developing agriculture in Egypt and the aim of this research was to obtain the best performance from irrigation systems management using locally modified and original emitters. The experiments were carried out at the National Irrigation Laboratory of the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute. The emitters were tested and calibrated under different operating pressures (0.50, 0.75, 1 and 1.25 bar) to determine emitter flow rates and emitter emission uniformity (EU) and manufacturing variation coefficient (CV). The original emitter performance was determined using the relationship between emitter flow rate (2 lh−1) and operating pressure, with data indicating that the EU was 98.5%, at a CV of 2.3% and actual flow rate was 1.8 lh−1 for the original emitter. The EU was 93.8% with a CV of 5.2% and actual flow rate of 2.02 lh−1 for the modified emitter. For original emitter performance at 4 lh−1, data indicated that the EU was 96%, with a CV of 4.8% and actual flow rate of 3.78 lh−1. The EU for the modified emitter was 95% with a CV of 2.7% and actual flow rate of 4.5 lh−1. The emitter exponent values were 0.41 to 0.44 for modified and 0.37 to 0.38 for original emitters.

Thermal simulation for a five-finger power SiGe HBT with novel structure was conducted with ANSYS software. Three-dimensional temperature distribution on emitter fingers was obtained. Compared with non-uniform segmented emitter fingers structure and non-uniform emitter finger spacing structure, the maximum junction temperature of novel structure reduce significantly, the thermal resistance reduce, temperature distribution were significantly improved. Thermal stability was effective enhanced.

A selective emitter structure is a promising approach to improve the cell efficiency of industrial type silicon solar cells by minimizing the losses at the front surface and in the emitter. Selective emitters can be produced by numerous processing sequences, resulting in different doping profiles. This paper focuses on the analysis of emitter formation for bifacial solar cell application. In this research, liquid phosphorus oxy-trichloride (POCl3) has been used as a diffusion source for emitter formation. The diffusion temperature was varied from 800 to 900 °C in order to determine an optimum diffusion profile. In this study, the mask-free diffusion process forms diffused emitter on both side of Si wafer. In order to determine the emitter characteristics, the sheet resistance of Si wafer after POCl3 diffusion process was measured using a four-point probe. Based on the sheet resistance value of ~47 ohm/sq, the emitter has been classified as heavily-doped emitter. The performance analysis using surface photovoltage (SPV) and spectral response presents a diffusion length of 2.19 μm. The POCl3-diffusion and screen printed Al-BSF led to bifacial solar cells with a front surface efficiency of 12.8 % and back surface efficiency of 5.08 %.
