Abstract:
The Engineering Materials Diffractometer Application Kit called EMAKi has been developed to control the Engineering Materials Diffractometer, TAKUMI, and treat data obtained by it. It is expected that TAKUMI will be widely used by not only academic users but also industrial users. We have designed EMAKi to be user-friendly interface for novice users by graphical user interface (GUI). In addition, adopting Python programming language for its development has enabled advanced users to control the diffractometer flexibly and treat the data easily. During instrumentation commissioning and running user programs, the software has demonstrated useful.

Abstract:
In Japanese culture, the yōkai, the numinous creatures inhabiting the other world and, sometimes, the boundary between our world and the other, are obvious manifestations of the feeling of fear, “translated” into text and image. Among the numerous emaki in which the yōkai appear, there is a specific type, called hyakki yagyō (the night parade of one hundred demons), where all sorts and sizes of monsters flock together to enjoy themselves at night, but, in the end, are scattered away by the first beams of light or by the mysterious darani no hi, the fire produced by a powerful magical invocation, used in the Buddhist sect Shingon. The nexus of this emakimono is their great number, hyakki, (one hundred demons being a generic term which encompasses a large variety of yōkai and oni) as well as the night––the very time when darkness becomes flesh and blood and starts marching on the streets.

Abstract:
Genji monogatari emaki and Ban-dainagon ekotoba are Japanese national treasures. Although the periods in which they were painted have not been accurately determined, radiocarbon dating cannot be applied to these priceless artifacts because of the destructive nature of 14C dating. In this study, the periods of their origin were determined by 14C dating the kohitsugire calligraphy. Kohitsugire are ancient paper sheets containing graceful calligraphy. They originally were part of ancient manuscripts. Two kohitsugire named Imaki-gire and Kingin-kirihaku-wakanroeishu-gire are written in the same style as Genji monogatari emaki and Ban-dainagon ekotoba. Although Imaki-gire and Kingin-kirihaku-wakanroeishu-gire had been attributed to Asukai Masatsune (AD 1170–1221) on the basis of the kiwamefuda certificates, recent calligraphical and paleographical studies suggest that they are genuine handwritings of Fujiwara no Norinaga (AD 1109–1180?). We applied 14C dating by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) to Imaki-gire and Kingin-kirihaku-wakanroeishu-gire. The calibrated 14C ages of both the kohitsugire indicated timing close to the peak of Fujiwara no Norinaga's career as a calligraphist. Based on the associations between the dated texts and the 14C results, it is concluded that the Genji monogatari emaki and Ban-dainagon ekotoba paintings could have been created in the middle of 12th century.

Abstract:
This dissertation asks how, in the context of elite medieval Japanese painting, matter could constitute meaning. This is attempted through a case study of one of the last great medieval illustrated handscrolls (Jp. emaki) yet to receive full treatment, the Genjō Sanzō-e (Illustrated Life of Xuanzang). Produced by the atelier of the enigmatic court painter Takashina Takakane (fl. ca. 1309–1330), the Genjō Sanzō-e has long constituted the mysterious jewel in the crown of the genre known as kōsōden emaki, or illustrated handscrolls of the lives of eminent monks. The work relates the life of the seventh century Chinese monk Xuanzang (ca. 602–664), who made an epic seventeen year pilgrimage from China to India to obtain sutras for translation into Chinese, thereby changing the course of Buddhist history in East Asia. The Genjō Sanzō-e comprises twelve illustrated scrolls that cumulatively measure almost two hundred meters. It was sequestered for hundreds of years at the spiritual heart of the Daijō-in imperial cloister of Kōfukuji, Nara, where it served as both icon and relic. This history of hermeticism led to the generation of an auratic narrative of a hermetic handscroll that turned on the perverse charisma of the invisible object. Already intellectually quarantined as a “very special object” by virtue of its emaki format, the scroll’s ontological complexity indirectly contributed to its further art historical isolation. Its first ever full exhibition in 2011 catalyzed this study, which interrogates the composition and function of illustrated sacred biography on both the hermeneutic and non-hermeneutic levels, as both text and sacred object. Micro-readings of the scroll texts and paintings against a constellation of self-indicated lexical and pictorial sources reveals that the source of the scroll’s efficacy as a numinous object lies in an exquisitely choreographed analogical mode of explicitly intertextual composition, producing a self-canonizing object that manipulates the expressive plasticity of the picto-textual handscroll format to deliver a customized re-telling of the life of Xuanzang. These findings challenge the conventional history of medieval Yamato-e painting, the category of kōsōden emaki, and Euro-centric conceptions of iconicity and the autonomy of the artifact.

Abstract:
This dissertation investigates the praxis of kechien, forming a karmic connection, evidenced in various religious picture scrolls produced during the Golden Era of their production in Japan, the late thirteenth through the early fourteenth century. This study is inspired by two goals: (1) to define the concept and practice of kechien, and (2) to challenge the widely accepted idea that picture scrolls, emaki, were used solely as a didactic and proselytizing tool. This absence of scholarly work focusing on kechien is rather astonishing considering that a variety of kechien practices are still omnipresent today and were especially so in medieval Japan. Inspired by Miya Tsugio's suggestion that some emaki were created for the purpose of kechien, I examine text and painting within picture scrolls as well as Buddhist scriptures and contemporary literary works in order to understand the role they played in the formation of kechien. I propose that emaki scrolls served as both a means and a site of kechien in medieval Japanese religious praxis.The dissertation starts with the concept of kechien seen through various modern dictionaries and the writings of Zhiyi and Genshin, two early monks whose works are often cited as the locus classicus for the term. As my study aims to explore praxis, I then turn to various practices of kechien performed by two types of people: producer and audience. I argue that production and consumption of religious picture scrolls were both regarded as valid and legitimate religious practices, especially near the perceived beginning of the age of mappo, the Final Age of the Dharma. People believed that once they had formed a kechien link with the subject of emaki scrolls through its production and viewing, they would be reborn into a Pure Land and ultimately achieve enlightenment sometime in the future. They also performed meritorious acts utilizing emaki scrolls in order to strengthen their karmic affinity and improve their conditions for enlightenment.

Abstract:
Ce travail vise à développer une stratégie optimale de gestion de la production dans le but de minimiser les coûts de production tout en tenant compte de l’aspect sécurité par le biais du cadenassage/décadenassage (C/D) durant les étapes de maintenance corrective et préventive. Dans la littérature, des études qui traitent de l’intégration du C/D et de la gestion de production sont presque inexistantes. De plus, dans le contexte actuel de l’industrie, beaucoup de dirigeants et travailleurs pensent, à tort, que la planification et la réalisation des différentes procédures de C/D prend beaucoup de temps. Par conséquent, ce temps de production inactif est perçu comme diminuant la performance de l’entreprise vis-à-vis la cadence de fabrication planifiée. Pour pallier à ce problème le concept novateur de :"mean time to lockout/tagout (MTTLT)" a été développé. Le concept novateur du MTTLT consiste à prendre en considération le temps de C/D en fonction des niveaux d'inventaires pour un système manufacturier afin de trouver une politique optimale. Ce concept permet d'une part de diminuer les coûts totaux de production, comprenant les coûts d’inventaire, de pénurie et de maintenance sur un horizon infini et d'autre part d'augmenter le niveau de sécurité des travailleurs. Cette thèse est présentée en trois (3) phases : En premier lieu, le projet vise à intégrer le concept novateur du MTTLT dans la gestion de la capacité de production sous forme de deux travaux. Tout d'abord, le MTTLT a été assimilé pour un système en redondance passive (deux machines, non-identiques produisant un seul type de pièce). Une modélisation a été faite par la chaîne de Markov homogène, et une résolution numérique à travers des équations différentielles d'Hamilton-Jacoby-Bellman (HJB) a conduit à la solution du système étudié. Nos résultats ont été validés par le biais d’une analyse de sensibilité. En deuxième lieu, l'influence de contrôle du MTTLT a été présenté pour une ligne de production constituée de trois machines (deux machines sous forme redondance passive et une troisième machine en série avec les précédentes) produisant un type de pièce. Une modélisation a été faite par la chaîne de Markov homogène. Les outils utilisés à l'étape précédente ont servi à résoudre ce cas. Le modèle de simulation a été également utilisé afin de déterminer les coûts afférents à chaque combinaison obtenue par le biais du plan d’expérience. Partant de ces coûts, une analyse de régression a été faite pour trouver la nouvelle commande optimale du problème d’optimisation considéré. Et pour illustrer l’utilité de nos résultats, une analyse de sensibilité a été effectuée. En troisième lieu, ce travail s’est concentré sur la modélisation du MTTLT et l'erreur humaine pour un sytème manufacturier flexible (FMS). La modélisation de l'erreur humaine a été effectuée par une chaîne de Markov non-homogène, pour un système en redondance passive produisant une seule pièce. La solution a été exposée par le biais des équations d'HJB et nos résultats ont été confirmés par une analyse de sensibilité.

Resumo: Esta pesquisa objetivou construir, de modo colaborativo, formas de mediação entre a pesquisadora e as professoras dos quintos anos dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, diretamente comprometidas com o desenvolvimento de repertórios profissionais da docência, tendo como alicerce as políticas públicas propostas – EMAI (Educação Matemática para os Anos Iniciais), AAP (Avaliação de Aprendizagem em Processo) e SARESP (Sistema de Avaliação do Rendimento Escolar do Estado de São Paulo) - para este segmento de escolarização da Educação Básica. Inicialmente, as professoras participantes selecionaram, a partir da plataforma digital Foco Aprendizagem, a habilidade matemática em que os alunos apresentaram menores índices de acertos diante das questões propostas na prova de matemática no SARESP de 2016, que envolviam a demonstração da aprendizagem da habilidade. Neste sentido, foi selecionada a habilidade H04, definida por reconhecer diferentes representações de um mesmo número racional, para ser o fio condutor desta pesquisa. Após a seleção da citada habilidade, nas diversas reflexões e estudos, posteriormente, realizados, desenvolvemos, com as professoras, alguns repertórios profissionais da docência a respeito da decomposição em retrospectiva de H04 e do planejamento de estratégias de ensino e de aprendizagem, a partir de uma perspectiva sequencial e hierárquica, de habilidades intermediárias e constituintes de H04. Abstract:
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is very important crop for food, protein, and oil both human and animal feeding. The aim of this study determinate oil ratio, protein ratio and fatty acid compositions of Soybean breeding lines developed from Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute (EMARI). This study was conductucted in double cropping system at the Eastern Mediterranean Agricul-tural Research Institute ( EMARI), Turkey in 2019 growing seasons. Through this study, it was realised that the fatty acid composition of soybean lines ranged from 11.34-9.80 for palmitic acid, 4.30-6.54% for stearic acid, 26.16-34.11% for oleic acid, 42.82-48.12% for linoleic, and 4.54-5.43% for linolenic acid in double cropped soybean. Oil content was found 22.4%, protein content was 40.9 % DA 12-14-3 and DA 12-15-39-40 soybean lines repectively.

Abstract:
El desarrollo de proyectos de investigación en cohetería experimental se reconoce como la base para consolidar la escuela de conocimiento e infraestructura necesaria para que países emergentes como Colombia inicien y logren el desarrollo de misiones aeroespaciales en el futuro previsible. En este sentido, la Escuela Militar de Aviación (EMAVI) de la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana (FAC) ha venido concatenando esfuerzos con diversos sectores (academia, industria y estado) para impulsar el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación enfocados en sistemas de propulsión y cohetes experimentales, entre otras áreas relacionadas. Recientemente, el Programa de Ingeniería Mecánica (PIMEC) de la EMAVI-FAC ha obtenido resultados promisorios en la síntesis de combustibles sólidos (propelentes), diseño y caracterización de motores cohete y diseño de prototipos de cohetes experimentales. Los resultados derivados han promovido la formulación y ejecución de nuevos proyectos de investigación que son complementarios e involucran un número importante de cadetes (estudiantes de pregrado), acompañados y dirigidos por oficiales, docentes e investigadores del Grupo de Investigación en Estudios Aeroespaciales (GIEA) de la FAC y otras instituciones a nivel regional y nacional. La articulación de todos estos actores y el fortalecimiento de sus labores investigativas se consideran un motor para impulsar, desde la academia, el sector aeroespacial de la región. Este trabajo integra los resultados y hallazgos más importantes obtenidos por los estudiantes de pregrado del PIMEC-EMAVI relacionados con sus proyectos y trabajos de grado, y define los retos y oportunidades que han sido identificadas hasta la fecha.

La Fuerza Aérea Colombiana (en adelante FAC) ha promovido la inclusión y participación de la mujer en todas sus dependencias, destacando sus cualidades y potenciando sus capacidades para desempeñarse en cargos que hasta hace unas décadas solo eran desempeñados por hombres. En enero de 1997 ingresó la primera promoción de cadetes femeninas a la Escuela Militar de Aviación (en adelante EMAVI), con el propósito de prepararse para cumplir la misión encomendada de ese entonces año 2007, a saber; “proteger y defender la soberanía, la independencia, la integridad territorial y el orden constitucional” , no solo desde el campo de batalla sino desde cualquiera de las áreas administrativas comprendidas en la estructura organizacional, evidenciando de esta manera sus capacidades en las especialidades de la institución militar. Un hito importante fue, por ejemplo, la primera tripulación femenina del helicóptero BlackHawk al mando de una mujer piloto y a partir de allí múltiples acontecimientos de suma importancia institucional en donde la mujer ha desempeñado un rol fundamental. En el año 2003 inicia la carrera de Ingeniería Informática en la EMAVI, al cual pueden acceder damas con los mismos requisitos académicos y conocimientos que el personal masculino, que durante 4 años tendrán la formación requerida para obtener el título profesional como Ingeniera Informática. Estas integras mujeres se han desempeñado en las diferentes especialidades del Cuerpo Logístico, Seguridad y Defensa de Bases y Vuelo, como es el caso de la Mayor Alexandra Zabala, quien, como Ingeniera Informática, ha apoyado el cumplimiento de la misión a través de los diferentes cargos en el área de inteligencia; así como los aportes relacionados con la producción académica orientados al desarrollo tecnológico de la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana en lo relacionado con ciberseguridad y ciberdefensa. Desde otro ámbito, la Subteniente Verónica Tabares ha tenido la oportunidad de ejercer su profesión en el cargo de Jefe del Escuadrón de Comunicaciones terrestres y Jefe del Escuadrón Telemática de la EMAVI y en la actualidad se encuentra realizando el curso de Operadora de Aeronaves Remotamente Tripuladas. Las experiencias de estas dos ingenieras y Oficiales de la FAC se socializarán como un ejemplo del invaluable aporte de la mujer ingeniera en la institución. Se hará énfasis en la oportunidad que se brinda a las mujeres de vincularse a la FAC y el enfoque de igualdad y equidad de género que les permite participar con sus pares hombres en el ámbito militar y profesional de la ingeniería, y que, a pesar de ser una minoría, han demostrado sus capacidades en los diferentes roles asignados, dejando en alto el nombre de la institución.

Abstract:
Las misiones tipo CANSAT son reconocidas por los centros educativos (básica, secundaria y/o universitaria) como procesos didácticos, multidisciplinarios y colaborativos diseñados para fomentar competencias pedagógicas e investigativas para que los jóvenes se interesen en el estudio de las ciencias aeroespaciales. Este tipo de herramientas y/o aplicaciones educativas, en particular las misiones CANSAT, se diseñan cual satélite no-orbital y se programan para tomar datos del ambiente (atmosféricos y/o meteorológicos) y enviarlos a una estación terrena mientras efectúa un retorno controlado a la superficie de la tierra, integrando varias disciplinas y áreas de conocimiento. Cabe destacar que dentro del desarrollo de una misión CANSAT se incluye la selección, y en algunas ocasiones el diseño y construcción, del vehículo de lanzamiento, dentro de los cuales se destacan, por su alto valor científico, los cohetes experimentales o cohetes tipo sonda, convirtiéndose también en herramientas de formación en el campo de las ingenierías (mecánica, electrónica, aeroespacial, física, informática, química, materiales, entre otras ingenierías). Este aspecto resulta interesante para el presente proyecto de investigación, en la medida en que seincluye el diseño y construcción de cohetes tipo sonda, en los cuales los CANSAT se definen como su carga útil. El desarrollo de proyectos de investigación de este tipo en la Escuela Militar de Aviación (EMAVI) de la Fuerza Aérea Colombiana (FAC), se considera una estrategia para consolidar toda una escuela de conocimiento e infraestructura alrededor de estas tecnologías, siendo posible el dar continuidad a estos procesos de investigación formativa e integrarlos a los proyectos educativos de los diversos programas que conforman la EMAVI, especialmente las ingenierías (mecánica e informática), logrando así el propósito mismo de la institución y el fortalecimiento de la formación investigativa de los futuros oficiales y su interés en las tecnologías aeroespaciales; aspectos claves para los futuros líderes del Programa Espacial de la FAC.

Abstract:
This study used method of Time-Driven Activity-Based costing (TDABC) approach to examined cost reduction in healthcare sector, Knee Arthroplasty Department in Al-Emadi Hospital as case-study for delivering a primary knee arthroplasty consultation. The purpose of the study is to propose an optimization model that tends to determine significant and insignificant resources and cost uncertainties in a particular healthcare service. Then compare results of optimization model with current costing methods used in healthcare. Eight-steps of TDABC method are applied to obtain Capacity Cost Rate (CCR) of each human resource involved in care-delivery cycle. Data was collected from interviewing staff and patients, financial reports, and human resource reports. Multiple linear regression (MLR) model is used to test strength of relationship between time and cost variable. Optimization model applied to decrease uncertainties by using Least Square method. Optimized model showed that human resources are not fully utilized which leads to error in costing model. Seven human resources out of eight are significant to model. Accuracy of optimized model is equal to 3%, with RMSE equal to 6. Total cost of the optimized model equal $177,492.45 which is better simulate actual cost $180,048. The research value is about building a new statistical model using MLR analysis to predict behavior and data trend of main healthcare segmentation: Human Resource. Also, propose a generic optimization model that can be used for specific healthcare service costing.
