Full textThe equivalent continuum approach uses equivalent propertiesof rock mass as the input data for a continuum analysis. Thisis a common modeling method used in the field of rock mechanicsand hydrogeology. However, there are still unresolvedquestions; how can the equivalent properties be determined andis the equivalent continuum approach suitable for modeling thediscontinuous fractured rock mass.
The purpose of this paper is to establish a methodology todetermine the equivalent hydraulic and mechanical properties offractured rock masses by explicit representations of stochasticfracture systems, to investigate the scale-dependency of theproperties, and to investigate the conditions for theapplication of the equivalent continuum approach for thefractured rock masses. Geological data used for this study arefrom the site characterization of Sellafield, Cumbria, UK. Aprogram for the generation of stochastic Discrete FractureNetwork (DFN) is developed for the realization of fractureinformation and ten parent DFN models are constructed based onthe location, trace length, orientation and density offractures. Square models with the sizes varying from 0.25 m× 0.25 m to 10 m × 10 m are cut from the center ofthe each parent network to be used for the scale dependencyinvestigation. A series of the models in a parent network arerotated in 30 degrees interval to be used for investigation oftensor characteristic. The twodimensional distinct elementprogram, UDEC, was used to calculate the equivalentpermeability and compliance tensors based on generalizedDarcys law and general theory of anisotropic elasticity. Two criteria for the applicability of equivalent continuumapproach were established from the investigation: i) theexistence of properly defined REV (Representative ElementaryVolume) and ii) existence of the tensor in describing theconstitutive equation of fractured rock The equivalentcontinuum assumption cannot be accepted if any one of the abovetwo criteria is not met. Coefficient of variation and meanprediction error is suggested for the measures toquantitatively evaluate the errors involved in scale dependencyand tensor characteristic evaluation.
Equivalent permeability and mechanical properties (includingelastic modulus and Poissons ratios) determined onrealistic fracture network show that the presence of fracturehas a significant effect on the equivalent properties. Theresults of permeability, elastic moduli and Poisson's ratioshow that they narrow down with the increase of scale andmaintain constant range after a certain scales with someacceptable variation. Furthermore, Investigations of thepermeability tensor and compliance tensor in the rotated modelshow that their tensor characteristics are satisfied at acertain scale; this would indicate that the uses of theequivalent continuum approach is justified for the siteconsidered in this study.
The unique feature of the thesis is that it gives asystematic treatment of the homogenization and upscaling issuesfor the hydraulic and mechanical properties of fractured rockswith a unified approach. These developments established a firmfoundation for future application to large-scale performanceassessment of underground nuclear waste repository byequivalent continuum analysis.

Full textconceptual and procedural knowledge and word problem solving skills in the domain of length, area, and volume measurement with respect to gender, previous mathematics achievement, and use of materials. Through the Conceptual Knowledge test (CKT), the Procedural Knowledge Test (PKT), and the Word Problems test (WPT) and the Student Questionnaire, the data were collected from 445 sixth grade students attending public schools located in four different main districts of Ankara. Both descriptive and inferential statistics techniques (MANOVA) were used for the data analysis. The results indicated that the students performed relatively poor in each test. The lowest mean scores were observed in the WPT, then CKT, and PKT respectively. The questions involving length measurement had higher mean scores than area and volume measurement questions in all tests. Additionally, the results highlighted a significant relationship not only between the tests but also between the domains of measurement with a strong and positive correlation. According to the findings, whereas the overall performances of students on the tests significantly differed according to previous mathematics achievement level, gender did not affect the students&rsquo
performance on the tests. Moreover, a wide range of mistakes were found from students&rsquo
written responses to the length, area, and volume questions in the tests. Besides, the results indicated that use of materials in teaching and learning measurement was quite seldom and either low or non-significant relationship between the use of materials and the students&rsquo
performance was observed.

The current environmental situation is a worrying scenario, making it inevitable to take different measures that result in solutions that overcome social and environmental challenges, pointing to a world of sustainable societies. As an important part of the complex and articulated group of necessary measures, education is essential, since it is capable of raising awareness that mobilizes people for social transformation. Environmental education is a practice that incorporates themes that are crucial in the society development in general and, if implemented in a critical, reflexive, transformative and emancipatory perspective, can increase the power of people action in this direction, favoring the challenging inflection, now in demand. In Brazil, this practice is referred to in concepts and principles known and established, which must be followed in its exercise, in projects and programs of community interaction, or in contents worked in the school environment. In this context, based on an evaluation of the National Curriculum Parameters of the Environment Transversal Theme and the National Curriculum Guidelines in Environmental Education, this paper defined four indicators for the analysis of the the São Paulo State official curriculum of the elementary education in relation to the approach to the environmental question: knowledge, participation, values, contextualization. Bibliographic review followed by documental analysis were the procedures used in the research, complemented by surveys of empirical researches to verify the occurrence of environmental education initiatives in the hidden curriculum in school practices. From the documental analysis of the Teacher's Notebook of all disciplines, we sought, among the description of the activities proposed there, to verify the occurrence of the different indicators. It was observed that environmental education practice is still restricted mainly to the areas of Science and Geography, which contrasts with the main indication, parameters and guidelines established, that this should be a practice that transcends the curriculum, pointing to a possible interdisciplinarity. We made suggestions for insertion of the environmental theme in different situations of its absence in the materials analyzed, trying to show concretely possibilities of approaching the environmental issue in all disciplines.

Full textThis thesis represents a didactic research linked to the Post-graduation Programme in Education of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte which aimed to approach the construction of the geometrical concepts of Volume of the Rectangular Parallelepiped, Area and Perimeter of the Rectangle adding a study of the Area of the Circle. The research was developed along with students from the 6th level of the Elementary School, in a public school in Natal/RN. The pedagogical intervention was made up of three moments: application of a diagnostic evaluation, instrument that enabled the creation of the teaching module by showing the level of the geometry knowledge of the students; introduction of a Teaching Module by Activities aiming to propose a reflexive didactic routing directed to the conceptual construction because we believed that such an approach would favor the consolidation of the learning process by becoming significant to the apprentice, and the accomplishment of a Final Evaluation through which we established a comparison of the results obtained before and after the teaching intervention. The data gathered were analyzed qualitatively by means of a study of understanding categories of mathematical concepts, in addition to using descriptive statistics under the quantitative aspect. Based on the theory of Richard Skemp, about categorization of mathematical knowledge, in the levels of Relational and Instrumental Understanding were achieved in contextual situations and varied proportions, thus enabling a contribution in the learning of the geometrical concepts studied along with the students who took part in the research. We believe that this work may contribute with reflections about the learning processes, a concern which remained during all the stages of the research, and also that the technical competence along with the knowledge about the constructivist theory will condition the implementation of a new dynamics to the teaching and learning processes. We hope that the present research work may add some contribution to the teaching practice in the context of the teaching of Mathematics for the intermediate levels of the Elementary School

Full textThesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences (PhD) in the specialty 05.11.17 “Biological and medical devices and systems”. -National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute", Kharkov, 2019. The thesis is devoted to the solution of one of the current scientific and technical problems of modern medical instrument making - increasing the efficiency of the medical ozone generator by determining the parameters of the discharge chamber, the supply voltage and the oxygen consumption. Currently, ozone and its mixtures are widely used in the world for the wide range of applications. Different types of ozone generators depending on their application are used for ozone synthesis. These generators differ in size, the amount of ozone generated by the time span, etc. The peculiarity of the generators of medical ozone is that it is necessary to maintain the prescribed parameters of the resulting ozone-oxygen mixture throughout the entire duration of the procedure, and medical oxygen is used as the working gas. This allows us to implement ozone therapy techniques for the most effective treatment of patients. Typical parameters of the ozone-oxygen mixture, which the ozone generating plant should provide, are regulated in Ukraine "Methods for the application of ozone in medical practice", which were approved by the Ministry of Health in 2004. According to the modern version of these methods, the concentration of ozone in the ozone-oxygen mixture should vary in the range from 0.1 to 80 mg / l, and the flow rate of the mixture is from 0.1 to 1 l / min. Medical ozone generators are actively used in the offices of ozonotherapy and medical institutions in Ukraine, CIS countries, as well as Latin American countries. A large number of conferences devoted to ozone therapy are being held annually in the world in which it is further developed. The practical use of generators of medical ozone shows that most of the equipment used needs to be improved to provide work on the basis of modern medical solutions in treatment. That is, the development of a modern generator requires not only compliance with the parameters of modern requirements, but also a stock for development and the possibility of increasing the values of ozone concentration. In addition, in most medical ozone generators there is a discrepancy between the stated parameters of the ozone oxygen mixture and the value of ozone productivity. The performance of the ozone generator, in turn, depends on: the parameters of the discharge chamber, the parameters of the supply voltage, the parameters of the working gas. Many scientists, including Japanese, German and scholars from the CIS countries, are engaged in solving the problem of finding the optimal values of these parameters for increasing the efficiency of ozone generator operation. But at the moment there is still no universal model for calculating the parameters of the ozone generator. Thus, the task of increasing the efficiency of the medical ozone generator by determining the best parameters of its nodes, which will improve the quality of ozone therapy procedures, is an urgent and promising direction for the development of ozone generators. In the dissertation, for the first time, a mathematical model of the synthesis of ozone in a digital chamber of the medical ozone generator was constructed, which takes into account the influence not only of the parameters of electric energy, but also of the parameters of the discharge chamber and the working gas. The dependence of the influence of electric energy parameters on the synthesis of ozone in a discharge chamber was obtained on the basis of the conducted analysis and using computer simulation. The model of the ozone generation process in the barrier discharge has been further developed, which, in contrast to the existing one, takes into account not only the power supply parameters and camera dimensions, but also the processes occurring in the discharge gap. The method of calculation of the basic parameters of the ozone generator during its development, which allows increasing the efficiency of ozone synthesis, is proposed. The practical value of the results obtained is to justify the list of parameters that have the greatest impact on the performance of the medical ozone generator; engineering calculations of parameters of the generator of medical ozone, which allowed to optimize the design of the generator with the given parameters; the implementation of an experimental model of the medical ozone generator with an improved system of automatic regulation of gas consumption, which allowed to ensure the implementation of a wide range of procedures for ozone therapy. The practical results of the dissertation work were introduced at the Scientific-Production Enterprise "Econika" in the development and manufacture of modern generators of medical ozone, and also a prototype sample was developed, was tested at the medical center "Pulse Medika" and at the Institute of Medical Radiology N.A. Grigoriev.

Full textThesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 05.11.17 – biological and medical devices and systems. – National Technical University "Kharkіv Polytechnic Institute", Kharkіv, 2019. The thesis is devoted to the development of a method for determining the parameters of a medical ozone generator to effectively increase its productivity by determining the parameters of its constituent parts, taking into account the influence of factors of different nature. On the basis of the study of the issues of constructing generators of medical ozone, the relevance of the study of ways to increase its efficiency was proved. A mathematical model based on the use of a single volume, which describes the processes occurring in the discharge chamber when the voltage is applied, is proposed. The level of influence of the parameters of the working gas and the geometry of the discharge chamber on the performance of the ozone generator, as well as on the stability of the parameters of the ozone-oxygen mixture, which were set. A method has been developed for calculating the parameters of a discharge chamber of a medical ozone generator, which makes it possible to obtain the most efficient design for given operating modes. A study has been carried out on the development of an automated working gas consumption system with improved characteristics, which makes it possible to carry out the main methods of ozone therapy. The efficiency of this system has been proved on the basis of the work of a medical ozone generator layout during the passage of medical approbation.

The purposes of this study were to develop an augmented reality (AR) system to assist elementary school students learning volume concepts in Geometry. Our developed AR system provided additional information on a real composite object, which would then help students calculate the volume of the object. We adopted the Quasi-experiment Research method to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in terms of students’ learning achievement, attitudes toward learning and perceptions on using the system. The participants were 53 fifth-grade students, with 25 students in experimental group using the AR system and 28 students in control group using traditional method. The results revealed that the AR system improved students’ achievement scores and students in the AR group showed more confidence than the control group in learning stratified strategy and were satisfied with the experience of using AR system. We suggest future studies to improve the user interface and functionality of our developed system and to develop similar systems to help students learn a broader range of the volume concepts.

This study presents the representative elementary volume (REV) of P32 (fracture intensity) and hydraulic conductivity of fractured rock mass. Discrete fracture network (DFN) generated by FracMan is adopted to create rock mass models. A series of parametric studies including dip angle, dip direction, Fisher constant κ, size of rock mass model, shape of rock mass model, specimen volume, fracture diameter, and P32 were investigated to study the REV of P32. Based on the results of the parametric studies, a novel equation to quantify the COV (Coefficient of variance) of P32 in terms of specimen volume, fracture diameter and P32 was established. A precise REV size can be obtained easily by assigning the acceptable COV. Thereafter, some case studies were used to verify the proposed novel equation. Conventional Oda and Oda gold were adopted to estimate the hydraulic conductivity of the fractured rock mass. By using Oda conventional, a series of parametric studies including specimen volume, fracture diameter, P32, transmissivity, and aperture were investigated to study the REV of hydraulic conductivity. Subsequently, that REV of hydraulic conductivity was compared with the REV of P32. In the other hand, by using Oda gold, only P32 was chosen as parametric study. Eventually, a proposed new method was conducted by examining the Monte Carlo simulation for REV of hydraulic conductivity determination.

Math is considered as a foundation for the development of science, technology and thought. Traditional teaching emphasizes on formula symbols and makes students repeatedly calculate to be familiar with math problems, but they are usually lack of understanding and thinking. If digital technology can be introduced, two-dimensional plan can be converted into three-dimensional space, it can effectively solve the problems of abstract three-dimensional space learning. The study, based on the indicators of Math learning capability of senior students in elementary schools, mainly focuses on the capability of students’ thinking in three-dimensional space and designs supplementary teaching materials for ‘Volume’ unit. Teaching materials are designed according to spatial cognition and logical thinking. AR and VR are applied to develop digital teaching tools to be merged into teaching activities. And discuss (1) the presentation of teaching materials and the introduction of digital tools into the math curriculum of the elementary schools, and the impact on learning needs and teaching effectiveness. (2) the development of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) teaching materials, the acceptance of learners and the interest of learning. The study has adopted a quasi-experimental design to verify. The study targets on 6th-grade students, and respectively divides them into Control Team and Experiment Team which applies three types if different teaching tools. The design of verification (experiment) is based on the prior knowledge test, a set of system teaching materials (including paper, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality teaching materials), learning achievement test, technology-acceptance-mode questionnaire and open interview questionnaire as its research tools. Students learn through the teaching materials developed by the study. After verification, students can learn (1) no matter what kind of teaching materials they learn, the students' learning performance on volume units has significant progress and multiple feedbacks are obtained; (2) and the students who apply interactive Augmented Reality leaning APP digital teaching materials have the most significant progress in their grades. The interactive Augmented Reality learning APP is convenient, easy-to-operate and has an unlimited learning environment. Students can repeatedly study. It is a higher practical teaching material; (3) for low-achievement children, their application of Virtual Reality teaching materials to study math can cause students with low achievement to pay their attention and generate their interest and enhance their willingness to learn; (4) through data analysis and qualitative interviews, the digital teaching materials developed by the study confronts with the teaching effectiveness of teachers and the learning requirements of students.

A research of elementary children’s conservation of quantity: taking the weight and the volume as an example Li Wan Luan Abstract The purpose of the research was to investigate the conservation of weight and volume of elementary children, the related factors influencing it, and the development of conservation of weight and volume. This study was aimed at the difference of the elementary children’s grade and school location to explore the development of elementary children’s weight conservation and volume conservation, and expect further understanding of the development of elementary children’s weight conservation and volume conservation. Data was collected from a questionnaire developed by the author. The samples were 303 students in “The questionnaire of elementary children’s weight conservation” and 394 students in “The questionnaire of elementary children’s volume conservation” from urban, rural, and remote elementary schools. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. There was a significant difference in the grades on the conservation of weight in factors of the changes of object’s direction, the external measurement of object, the compare of transitivity, the cut or compound of object, the change of object’s shape, and the total score of “The Questionnaire of Elementary Children’s weight conservation”. 2. Second grade students’ weight conservation was affected by changing factors of the compare of transitivity, the cut or compound of object, and the change of object’s shape. Third grade students’ weight conservation was affected by changing factors of the compare of transitivity. The purpose of this study is to compare the differences between Nan-I- Edition elementary school mathematics textbook in Taiwan and Everyday Mathematics Edition elementary school mathematics textbook in USA in term of the volume materials. This study applies the method of content analysis and the tool of concept mapping. It focuses on when the concepts appear, how the concepts are arrangesd and how the contents are present. The study indicates that both two editions are present the materials of capacity at the second grade. However, the materials of volume are one year earlier in EM- Edition, but are wider and deeper than those in Nan-I- Edition. Nan-I- Edition explains the materials of volume at the first time explicitly, but less focuses the estimation of measurement. There are more materials of criterion unit and unit conversion in EM-Edition. Nevertheless, Nan-I-Edition puts more focus on unit operations. These two editions introduce and present the formulas of volume using different ways. The contents in EM- Edition have more integrated problems which connect with real life, and need to apply more mathematical concepts to strategies of problems solving.

The purpose of the research was to explore the Elementary Social Studies textbooks complied in accordance with curriculum standards of 1993, including Nani, knsh, national offical, Senseio and Hanlin textbooks from the perspective of Multiple Intelligences theory (MI theory) to see whether the mentioned textbooks used multiple instruction channels. The researcher employed both content analysis and interview method to do this study. The exploration in the thesis included three focal points: 1. Understanding the distributed proportion of MI theory appeared in textbooks; 2. Comparing the similarity and the difference of MI theory appeared in textbooks; 3. Exploring the total distribution situation of MI theory appeared in textbooks, and understanding the factors of those results. Studied from above, the main results were synthesized as follows. 1.The distribution proportion of MI theory appeared in five different textbooks. (a)Low proportion of Multiple Intelligences in five different textbooks’ “Understanding Taiwan Materials.” The six units of “Understanding Taiwan Materials” among the five versions rarely employed MI instruction channels, except the units of “Folk and Art,(Nani, volum7, unit3), “Folk and Art”(Knsh, volum8, unit1), “Art and Life”(national official, volum8, unit3), “Natural Resources”(Senseio, volum7, unit2), “Folk and Art”(Hanlin, volum7,.unit3) and “Natural Resources”(Hanlin, volum7,.unit2). Within the five diverse textbooks, only six units out of the total thirty units placed more emphasis on the learning approach of Multiple Intelligences. Therefore, the proportion of MI theory is about one—fifth. (b) Nil proportion of Multiple Intelligences in the units of “Understanding Taiwan Materials” commonly seen in five versions of textbooks. 2. The compared results of Multiple Intelligences theory appeared in different textbooks. (a)As a whole, the total distribution situation of MI theory in Elementary Social Studies Textbooks’ “Understanding Taiwan Materials”, the more popular intelligences were linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence and spacial intelligence. In the organization of “Understanding Taiwan Materials”, the more popular intelligent items were linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence and spacial intelligence; the more rarely intelligent items were musical intelligence, bodily-kinestetic intelligence, and naturalist intelligence. (b)Among the five different textbooks’ “Understanding Taiwan Materials”, the more popular intelligences were linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence and spacial intelligence. Finally, based on the research results above and the deficiency of the research, suggestions were offered for further study and textbook organizing.

Volume is an important mathematical concept for elementary school students. Everyone can see, touch, and use three-dimensional objects in the life. But there is a problem for teachers that some students cannot really comprehend the Volume concept's meaning because their spatial abilities are poor. When they learn the Volume concept in the Math class, they will have the misconception about Volume. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the school children's learning motivation and achievement by constructing a game-based mathematical learning system with the Volume concept. Forty fifth-grade elementary school students took part in this experiment. All participants were randomly divided into two groups with the same Math level. The experimental group learns Volume concept with the game-based learning system, and the control group learn the same materials with a digital multimedia learning system. All participants were evaluated on their learning motivation and achievement by the pre-test and post-test. The results indicated that there were significant differences between the scores of pre-test and post-test in learning achievement for the experimental group (p = .002), but for the control group were not (p = .099). It also showed that the game-based learning system can really increase students' learning achievements. For learning motivation, there were significant differences between the scores of pre-test and post-test in learning motivation for the experimental group (p = .004), but not for the control group (p = .425). It showed that the game-based mathematical learning system can really increase school children's learning motivation, draw their attention, and help them learn better.

In recent years, the large-scale construction projects and environmental resources related issues had brought attentions and rapid development on hydrogeology and other academic field connected to it. Rock engineering, including large-scale underground laboratory, tunnel excavation and hydrogeological well site, requires a certain degree of understanding on hydrogeology and hydraulic parameters, in order to facilitate subsequent planning and related construction. However, the presence of discontinuities in rock mass generates heterogeneity and anisotropy in its engineering characteristics, increasing variation of hydraulic and conductivity parameters, resulting in difficulty for determining representative parameters. Investigation and characterization of hydrogeological parameters of fracture rock masses are crucial to underground water exploiting. Among which, defining the hydrogeological representative elementary volume of the site is one of the key items. How to evaluate the hydrogeological unit to the scale of the target rock engineering is an important issue in hydrogeological parameters characterization. Based on previous research results, this thesis present an assessment process for representative elementary volume on hydraulic parameter characterization on account of a hydraulic parameter characterization model for fractured rock mass. Investigation and statistical test are applied to estimate the variation degrees of representative elementary volume in site and associated hydraulic conductivity in rock mass, which further determine the scale influence on each hydraulic characteristic parameters, the methodology of the establishment and extension of application is through by Heshe hydrogeological well site, and another tunnel case project in initiative in north Taiwan. The evaluation method of representative elementary volume in hydraulic characteristic establish by statistical error propagation theory to calculate the varying degrees between the characteristic parameters and hydraulic conductivity, and the empirical formula of different hydraulic conductivity is discussed to find the variation range and plotted out different scales in a result. In order to understand the behavior of hydraulic conductivity associated with representative elementary volume changes, this research applies groundwater modeling system to establish numerical model and analysis it. Firstly, the anisotropy is simulated with a single element, the error between the two elements is calculated by numerical solution and analytic solution. Then, convert the goal of simulation scale to in-situ cross-hole pumping test which in heshe well site. Secondly, parameter sensitivity analysis is carried out to understand the representative elementary volume and its related parameters. Scale variation is using for complete numerical simulation methodology parallel verification, and establish the accuracy and correctness of the model. The case study is aimed at extending the application of different representative elementary volumes on the volume of seepage flow caused by tunnel excavation, which extend the application of methodologies in a large number of site surveys and numerical models. The results show that the representative elementary volume evaluation program can effectively describe the change of the hydraulic characteristic parameters and the hydraulic conductivity coefficient with the scale variation by the statistical error propagation accumulation theory, and verify the groundwater anisotropy by numerical simulation. The related parameter sensitivity analysis shows that the numerical solution and the analytical solution will produce a certain range of errors in the setting of the boundary condition. The determination of the error value can provide the numerical model to improve the accuracy and correctness of the subsequent research. The hydraulic characteristic parameters of representative elementary volumes are on different scales, which changed in the groundwater seepage caused by tunneling, that with a certain degree of influence of groundwater through the three-dimensional simulation. We provide a valuable technical reference from the conceptual model, narrative model, and hydraulics model all the way to numerical model, through the outcome of methodology in designing verification and applying in this study.

This study is about application of the unit: volume of sixth-grade math of elementary school. In this study, the development of polychotomous scoring based on Professor Takahiro’s SP table analysis theory is used and applied to this research on teaching assessment. The participants’ degrees of response are used to understand their learning situations in volume and to provide teachers with references on teaching this unit and remedial teaching. The participants are thirty four sixth-graders of the elementary school in Taichung city. Caution Index for Students, CS calculated from the SP table analysis software, Caution index for problems, CP, and the coefficient of variation are adopted to conduct the diagnostic analysis of test items and the analysis of students’ learning. In Professor Takahiro’s SP table analysis theory, the dichotomous scoring (right- 1 point, wrong- 0 point) is used. However, polychotomous scoring is used in this research to calculate CX and CP. There are totally thirty- two items, item one to item twenty-four: 3 points, and item twenty-five to item thirty-two: 3.5 points. The results of the values of CS are as follow. From 0 to 0.5, there are twenty-one students, indicating that their learning is normal without serious unusual situation. From 0.5 to 0.75, there are thirteen students, which means teachers should pay attention to their serious unusual situation. The CS value >0.75 indicates the very serious usual situation and there is zero student in this range. The CP coefficient value >0.75 are Item3, Item8, Item9, Item11, Item12, Item19, Item22, Item24, and Item29. Item3 and Item19 are easier question for the students due to the > 90 % of the correct answering rate. This result implies that teachers have to pay attention to the inappropriate items when they are designing the test items. The results show the extraordinary function of evaluating the test items of polychotomous scoring of S-P table analysis theory. It can be used not only to analyze the content of the test of the minorities but also to classify the participants, which is the lack of the item response theory. Moreover, these findings could provide the teachers who would like to teach and evaluate with references for remedial teaching.

The study is based on Rule Space Model cognitive diagnostic methods, which was proposed by Tasuoka(1983). The subjects of this study were the fourth-grade students from two classes of an elementary school in New Taipei County. Through the analysis of the examinees’ cognitive response patterns, it is effective to figure out the volume learning results on those fourth-grade students, and to explore the mastery level of their potential knowledge attributes. The Students in the experimental group could correspond to 3 kinds of attribute combinations from the target unit of this study. According to the mastery level of students’ potential knowledge attributes, 9 kinds of knowledge states could be classified and four learning paths could be identified. According to the post-test analysis of the students' learning achievement in the experimental group, from the percentage of people in each knowledge state, the possible learning path for students is derived as path four. The results showed that after the experimental group of students accepted the individual diagnostic suggestions, there was a significant improvement in post-test performance. By analyzing students’ knowledge status, they not only help students understand their own learning weaknesses, but also build their self-learning ability. It can also helping teachers adjust follow-up teaching strategies and improving teaching effectiveness.
