Without enough sleep, a person, especially a driver, is more likely to nod off and cause a collision. To prevent accidents on the road, the current study seeks to develop a system that can identify drowsy drivers. For that system, it will be necessary to process images from a camera that will be trained on the driver. It will analyze the facial changes that take place in this process, run them through a computer to identify drowsiness, and then alarm the driver if it is detected.

Abstract:
Election System is one of the indicators of the democratic country when this country is giving equal rights to the eligible citizens to choose their leaders or to give their candidatures, to participate in the country development by criticizing the government on how thing are being done and how they want to be done (i.e. means listen the views of the citizens). An E-voting system is one of the system engineering where different technologies are applied to analyze, design and implement a dynamic system which is satisfying the user needs. In this work we are discussing on the futures of Election Management System (EMS) by mentioning some of the problems and coming up with the solutions. The system is having the strong securities in the way that the hackers cannot be able to enter our system to make any change during the registration of the voters and candidates as well as in the election period till the end of election (i.e. tabulation, store votes, and display the final election results). We are developing, designing and implementing Electronic Voting Machine composed by Hardware, Software and Network.

Abstract:
In this paper, we describe a procedure for designing an accurate simulation model using a price-wised linear approach referred to as the power semiconductor converters of a DC microgrid concept. Initially, the selection of topologies of individual power stage blocs are identified. Due to the requirements for verifying the accuracy of the simulation model, physical samples of power converters are realized with a power ratio of 1:10. The focus was on optimization of operational parameters such as real-time behavior (variable waveforms within a time domain), efficiency, and the voltage/current ripples. The approach was compared to real-time operation and efficiency performance was evaluated showing the accuracy and suitability of the presented approach. The results show the potential for developing complex smart grid simulation models, with a high level of accuracy, and thus the possibility to investigate various operational scenarios and the impact of power converter characteristics on the performance of a smart gird. Two possible operational scenarios of the proposed smart grid concept are evaluated and demonstrate that an accurate hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system can be designed.

Abstract:
The electric parking brake (EPB) system as the complex mechatronic system consists of the actuators that generate the clamping force necessary to hold the vehicle safe, the conventional calipers that convert clamp force into brake torque, electronic hardware with the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), cable harness and switches and especially the control software providing the functions that the driver will experience. Like most of the modern automotive components, the EPB is equipped with embedded electronic systems that include ECU, electronic sensors, signals, bus systems, and coding. Due to the complex application in electrical, electronics and programmable electronics, the need to carry out detailed safety analyses that are focused on the potential risk of malfunction is crucial for automotive systems. This paper describes a possible division of the EPB sub-functions between the supplier the wheel brakes and the supplier which supplying the ECU. Functional safety must be a guarantee with concerning the overall vehicle system. Functional safety is according to the requirements of the ISO 26262 standard and in the context of this paper relates solely to the E/E components (electrical and/or electronic) of the EPB. This paper covers the hazard analysis and risk assessment relevant to the EPB control software, and the derived allocation of ASIL risk levels to the EPB software elements of the functional architecture of the EPB.

Abstract:
Today, ZigBee technology has become one of the most widely used wireless communication technologies. Electronic engineering majors need a more efficient management system, which is supported by a database system to achieve overall learning management. The new system can improve students’ dominance in moral education and student leadership. Therefore, this system will also bring educational leadership. At the same time, this system is also the first of its kind. It is an interactive system for communication between schools, students, and parents. It provides a timely and comprehensive platform for information retrieval and management and improves educational arrangements, educational management and students. Nowadays, various colleges and universities are constantly reforming and innovating their teaching management systems, and their teaching methods are also more diversified. This leads to the increased complexity of teaching management, and the existing teaching system software functions cannot meet the increasing demand. Therefore, this paper first introduces the concept and characteristics of ZigBee technology; then, the routing algorithm of the ZigBee network layer is used to analyze the role of the ZigBee technology in interactive systems. In the undergraduate class, applying the interactive teaching system proposed in this paper to student practice, experiments were also performed on this system. The results show that it can be found that in the daily teaching management and operation, the system meets a variety of operational and performance requirements, which is actually the test steps passed before the platform is deployed. In addition, based on the characteristics of ZigBee, the system platform has good practicability and is easy to maintain; after making corrections to the exposed problems, good experimental results have been obtained, and the purpose of the system has been achieved.

Abstract:
This paper presents the design and Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS) realization of a Darlington-pair circuit used in power electronics engineering. MEMS are integrated micro devices or systems combining electrical and mechanical components fabricated using integrated circuits processing techniques. The size range of the components is from micrometers up to a couple of millimeters. Current MEMS applications include almost all engineering fields. Since MEMS is a newly developed technology, very few studies have been carried out directly on knowledge transferring from different engineering disciplines. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate a mechanical model developing of a power electronic circuit, to characterize and to analyze its performance and its suitability to MEMS application.

Abstract:
Horizontal platform system (HPS) is one of the mechanical systems with rich behavior and has extensively been applied in offshore and earthquake engineering. A corresponding electronic HPS is proposed in this paper to reduce the research cost and time when studying dynamics of the mechanical HPS. Furthermore, an output feedback controller is proposed for global synchronization between coupled electronic HPS systems and its stability condition is also derived by employing the Lyapunov stability theory. The experimental simulations verify the dynamics of the proposed electronic HPS and the synchronization effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Abstract:
Alternating meta- and para-phenylene-linked oligoarylamines are considered as promising molecular parts for the molecule-based electronics and/or spintronics due to their intriguing electronic and magnetic properties. From the magnetic viewpoint, a -meta-phenylene linker plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective ferromagnetic interaction, while para-phenylene linker plays an important part in stabilizing the spin-containing aminium radical cations. Of the meta–para and all-meta oligoarylamines prepared so far, the macrocyclic oligoarylamines are structurally defined, and therefore we can employ them as the component pieces to prepare the two- or three-dimensionally structured oligoarylamines. The spin electronic properties of polycationic species generated from two kinds of macrocyclic oligoarylamines, which will be able to be extended into the 2D multi-spin molecular systems, are described on the basis of the pulsed electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements.

Abstract:
Currently, implementing a new electronic health record data system is a rather difficult mission. Among some of the cons are the systems that already exist in institutions, different types of formats, programming languages and versions, user mentality, and resistance to new technologies. The new approach presented is based on an openEHR architecture that introduces a new way of organizing clinical information using valid and reusable clinical structures. This article focuses on the initial steps of the implementation of an openEHR system based on EHR in a Portuguese major health care provider. In all components presented in this approach, the mapping of the current systems in the healthcare institution is guaranteed. The system comprises operational template creation through a validation mechanism and after that storage, a platform for data generation dynamically constructed from templates and an interoperability mechanism through the implementation of an HL7 V3/CDA message system.
