Abstract:

Il saggio si propone di argomentare il complesso passaggio teorico dalla meta-etica all'etica che coinvolge in eguale misura il Rosenzweig de La Stella della Redenzione e il libro incompiuto su Dostoeskij del giovane Lukács. All'interno di questo passaggio si cerca di dimostrare una continuitŕ ideale tra l'etica kantiana e la storia universale hegeliana; la ricusazione č netta e non risparmia nessuna della due prospettive. Entrambe, infatti, nel frammentario testo di Lukács, vengono presentate come appartenenti allo stesso contenitore, la nozione di spirito oggettivo che deve essere condannata senza appello. Da questa condanna emerge un nuovo concetto di responsabilitŕ.

La giustizia francese vive dall'inizio del 2011 un momento storico: la situazione gravissima in cui essa versa ha provocato una mobilitazione senza precedenti che ha coinvolto tutte le categorie addette al settore. La richiesta, fondamentale per l'avvenire della giustizia, di cui questo movimento si č fatto portavoce non si riduce all'esigenza, pur forte, di mezzi adeguati. Essa propone in eguale misura una questione di fondo: l'avvenire della giustizia, la sua indipendenza, la sua imparzialitŕ e qualitŕ, la sua capacitŕ di salvaguardare i diritti e le libertŕ di tutti. Č questa la giustizia che deve esistere in una democrazia. La Francia ne č, ahimé, lontana.

Abstract:

L’Articolo intende mostrare il ruolo che il diritto alla vita, nella sua prospettiva assiologica, può svolgere all’interno dell’ordinamento giuridico delle democrazie costituzionali. Rilevato il nesso strettissimo tra diritto alla vita e nozione di persona, quest’ultima collocata al centro del sistema costituzionale, l’Autore, nello sviluppare alcune considerazioni di Antonio Baldassarre sulla necessità che il valore vita possa essere bilanciato da un eguale valore, sostiene la possibilità di istituire all’interno della c.d. interpretazione per valori, una gerarchia che abbia al vertice il diritto alla vita quale precondizione di ogni altro diritto. In questa prospettiva il diritto alla vita incide profondamente sullo stesso destino delle democrazie pluralistiche e ne diventa il principio della loro legittimazione. In altri termini, conclude l’Autore, il diritto alla vita può essere inteso come la Grundnorm senza, però, essere assunta in modo ipotetico e convenzionale secondo lo schema kelseniano, qualificando sul piano giuridico ed etico l’intero ordinamento.

Abstract:

Viviamo un momento storico nel quale il paradigma educativo ed organizzativo che ha ispirato la nascita e l'affermazione della scuola di massa novecentesca mostra tutti i propri limiti. La scuola pare che tenda inerzialmente ad autoconservarsi, a ripetersi eguale a se stessa. Ma non sempre e non ovunque. Nelle testimonianze di alcuni docenti che percorrono con successo nuove modalità didattiche intravediamo alcuni elementi che possono rappresentare una guida per costruire una didattica più adeguata ai nostri tempi. In particolare emerge con forza la centralità di una relazione tra docenti e studenti basata sulla fiducia e sulla responsabilità, che persegua l'obiettivo di rendere più efficace il processo di insegnamen-to/apprendimento. Queste conclusioni si basano sulle dinamiche peculiari che caratterizzano gli adolescenti di oggi, come dimostrato da numerosi studi scientifici. Utilizzando tale approccio gli adulti possono diventare figure effettivamente significative ed autorevoli per i pro-pri allievi, capaci di accompagnarli nel loro percorso di crescita verso la vita adulta.

Saggio sul positivismo giuridico e la sua crisi – sostiene una tesi ben precisa: se non vogliamo che il diritto sia solo violenza messa in forma, è bene prendere le distanze dal positivismo giuridico. Il rischio, tuttavia, è che l’antipositivismo finisca con il ‘buttare il bambino con tutta l’acqua sporca’. Il diritto moderno, infatti, prende forma nella dialettica fra morale e potere, fra cosa si decide e chi decide, in termini habermasiani fra “legittimità” e “positività”. Non è detto affatto che questa dialettica riesca a comporsi praticando solo il giuspositivismo, soprattutto poi se esso schiaccia la “legittimità” sulla “positività”. Ma anche un antipositivismo che si sbilanciasse in direzione della morale, di cosa si decide, in breve della sola “legittimità”, finirebbe con il cadere in un errore esattamente eguale e contrario a quello del positivismo.

Abstract:

In questo studio sono stati confrontati venti pazienti con diagnosi DSM-III-R di disturbo borderline di personalitê, con un numero eguale di nevrotici (soggetti con disturbi somatoformi o ansiosi secondo il DSM-III-R) e di psicotici (pazienti con diangosi DSM-III-R di schizofrenia o disturbo delirante). I pazienti non-differivano in forma statisticamente significativa per etê media. Tutti i soggetti sono stati sottoposti al test di Rorschach, ed i protocolli sono stati valutati con il sistema di Exner per quanto concerne l’analisi strutturale e con analisi contenutistica. Per quanto riguarda quest’ultima sono state valutate le seguenti scale: scale di barriera e penetrazione di Fisher and Cleveland (1958) ; scala di ostilitê (Elizur, 1949); scala di ansietê (Elizur, 1949); scala di dipendenza ( De Vos, 1952 ); scala di depressione ( Endicott, 1972 ; Endicott & Jortner, 1966 ); scala di sospettositê ( Endicott, 1972 ; Endicott, Jortner, & Abramoff, 1969 ), scala delle difese di Lerner ( Lerner & Lerner, 1980 ). Per quanto concerne l’esame di realtê sono state prese in considerazione le confabulazioni e un grado di maggiore gravitê delle stesse. Quest’ultime sono state tipizzate come confabulazioni nelle quali era presente una iperelaborazione dello stimolo, con tematizzazione di una breve storia, abitualmente drammatica, e dove il contatto con realtê appariva completamente perso. L’analisi strutturale ha indicato che i pazienti con disturbo borderline di personalitê e i soggetti psicotici presentavano un numero maggiore di segni depressivi. L’indice SCZI ha differenziato esclusivamente il gruppo degli psicotici, il quale peraltro Åanche risultato come quello maggiormente compromesso per quanto concerne l’accuratezza percettiva. Le capacitê empatiche e di identificazione interpersonale sono risultate migliori nei pazienti borderline. L’analisi contenutistica ha indicato che i pazienti borderline erano differenziabili dagli altri due gruppi per una maggiore presenza di segni di dipendenza affettiva. Inoltre, rispetto agli psicotici, i pazienti borderline presentavano un maggior numero di segni di ostilitê, e utilizzavano in maggior grado rispetto ai nevrotici meccanismi difensivi di svalutazione ed identificazione proiettiva. I pazienti borderline presentavano anche un maggior numero di confabulazioni gravi rispetto ai nevrotici. I dati di questo studio suggeriscono la possibilitê che vi sia un discreto grado di sovrapposizione tra le categorie diagnostiche dei borderline con altre condizioni pre-psicotiche.

Abstract:

Abstract Objectives To evaluate ESR eGUIDE—the European Society of Radiology (ESR) e-Learning tool for appropriate use of diagnostic imaging modalities—for learning purposes in different clinical scenarios. Methods This anonymized evaluation was performed after approval of ESR Education on Demand leadership. Forty clinical scenarios were developed in which at least one imaging modality was clinically most appropriate, and the scenarios were divided into sets 1 and 2. These sets were provided to medical students randomly assigned to group A or B to select the most appropriate imaging test for each scenario. Statistical comparisons were made within and across groups. Results Overall, 40 medical students participated, and 31 medical students (78%) answered both sets. The number of correctly chosen imaging methods per set in these 31 paired samples was significantly higher when answered with versus without use of ESR eGUIDE (13.7 ± 2.6 questions vs. 12.1 ± 3.2, p = 0.012). Among the students in group A, who first answered set 1 without ESR eGUIDE (11.1 ± 3.2), there was significant improvement when set 2 was answered with ESR eGUIDE (14.3 ± 2.5, p = 0.013). The number of correct answers in group B did not drop when set 2 was answered without ESR eGUIDE (12.4 ± 2.6) after having answered set 1 first with ESR eGUIDE (13.0 ± 2.7, p = 0.66). Conclusion The clinical decision support tool ESR eGUIDE is suitable for training medical students in choosing the best radiological imaging modality in typical scenarios, and its use in teaching radiology can thus be recommended. Key Points • ESR eGUIDE improved the number of appropriately selected imaging modalities among medical students. • This improvement was also seen in the group of students which first selected imaging tests without ESR eGUIDE. • In the student group which used ESR eGUIDE first, appropriate selection remained stable even without the teaching tool.

Abstract:

To increase the quality of instruction, enhance student learning, and decrease laboratory time spent on laboratory safety, basic skills, and the use of equipment, we developed the Micro eGuide website. We compared the performance of students who used the Micro eGuide to students provided more traditional instruction in both an upper-level introductory microbiology course for biology majors and in a lower-division introductory microbiology course for nonmajors. Assessment of student learning included written pretests and posttests, practical testing of laboratory skills, and for the major’s class, a review of poster presentations of independent projects. Students who used the Micro eGuide showed a statistically significant increase in performance on written examination in the introductory microbiology courses for both biology majors and nonmajors. Use of the Micro eGuide in the sophomore-level course for nonbiology majors resulted in a statistically significant improvement in laboratory skills. Though the increase in laboratory skills in the majors courses was not statistically significant, instructors were able to use the site as an effective learning source and decrease the time spent in class on topics covered in the Micro eGuide. While the number of student independent research projects was too small for statistical analysis on the quality of the poster presentations, the improvement in student attitude and the increase in the diversity in topics selected suggests that students using the Micro eGuide had increased comfort with microbiology and increased interest in exploring microbiology.

Droppings of fowl, owl, parrot, pigeon and sparrow were asepticaly collected in sterilized bottles from different places at Gorakhpur, 54 fungi were isolated. The number of fungi was more in the pigeon showing considerable decrease in the fowl and the sparrow. In the parrot and the owl, however. the fungi were egual in number. The number of Phycomycetes was almost the same on droppings of all birds, from parrot only one species could be isolated. A larger number of Ascomyteces was recorded from fowl, less from pigeon and owl and the least (two each) on sparrow and parrot droppings. The Basidiomycetes, represented by two species only, were recorded on owl and pigeon droppings. Pigeon droppings yielded the largest number of Deuteromycetes. They were egual in numbers on owl and parrot while on fowl and sparrow their number was comparatively less. Mycelia sterilia, though poor in their numbers, were recorded on all the bird droppings excepting owl.

Il saggio propone di coniugare due termini all'apparenza difficilmente conciliabili, ‘eguaglianza' e ‘aristocrazia', a partire da due possibili e distinti significati dell'eguaglianza: come sovrapponibilitÀ (di atteggiamenti, comportamenti, opinioni) che ha generato e genera totalitarismi, e come comunanza generale all'origine di molteplici differenze, ovvero di identitÀ commisurantisi che convivono sotto il segno della relazione reciproca. Gli eguali in questo secondo senso divengono aristocratici, cioč ottimi, nel momento in cui decidono di rendersi, ciascuno, ‘signore consapevole' della propria biografia, e con ciň solidale con ogni altra storia personale, rispettoso e partecipe della sua differenza.

Abstract:

The present article analyses some of the features that characterise Mariology. First of all, it focuses on the history of this peculiar area of theology, as a literary and epistemological code. The text itself, designated to illustrate the formation of a new literary and philosophical discourse, is the well known compilation Miracles of Our Lady by Gonzalo de Berceo, with special regard to the allegoric Introduction to the same work. Allegory was the most widespread narrative figure of social cultural texture in the Middle Ages. The Marian cult was an extraordinary literary revelation in the Europe of the 11-13th centuries. The chain of metaphors defining the Introduction to the Miracles implies a universal theological allegory concerning the role of the Virgin in the salvation of humanity. The interpretation of some landscape elements means not only the polysemic allegory for the creation of a cultural home but also signifies the conception of a new symbolical rational order and the combination of cultural registers. What is meant is the embedding of Christian narrative and a serious attempt to create a specific national and culturalpattern.

L'effetto del sovraccarico di scelta è stato finora studiato prevalentemente su adulti. L'unico studio condotto su fasce di età diverse dagli adulti ha fornito una prima dimostrazione del fatto che le conseguenze negative dell'avere troppa scelta non si estendono in egual misura a bambini, adolescenti, adulti e anziani. Il presente lavoro si propone di indagare ulteriormente le conseguenze negati-ve dell'avere troppa scelta su bambini, adolescenti e anziani. I dati suggeriscono che mentre gli adolescenti sono influenzati dal fenomeno in modo simile agli adulti, i bambini e gli anziani sembrano invece esserne immuni. Sono discusse le implicazioni teoriche e pratiche dei risultati e sono forniti spunti per ulteriori ricerche.

The results of observations of H2O maser sources Ori A and W49N at 1.35cm made the RATAN-600 radio telescope from June 1981 till December 1988 are presented. The light curves of these sources showed several outbursts. Duration of the strongest outbursts for the Ori A and W49N are approximately 1 and 1.5yr respectively. The maximum of the total luminosity (assuming isotropic emission) of these sources for the velocity range ±8km.s-1 is egual to 1×1047 ph.s-1 and 2×1049 ph.s-1 respectively. The time behaviour of the water maser source in W49N during more than 7yr is monitored for the first time.

Objective – To evaluate the usefulness of three point-of-care healthcare databases (BMJ Point-of-Care, Clin-eguide, and Nursing Reference Centre) in clinical practice. Design – A descriptive study analyzing questionnaire results. Setting – Hospitals within Alberta, Canada’s two largest health regions (at the time of this study), with a third health region submitting a small number of responses. Subjects – A total of 46 Alberta hospital personnel answered the questionnaire, including 19 clinicians, 7 administrators, 6 nurses, 1 librarian, 1 preceptor, and “some” project coordinators. Subjects were chosen using a non-probability sampling method. Methods – The researchers developed an online questionnaire consisting of 17 questions and posted it on the University of Calgary’s Health Sciences Library and the Health Knowledge Network websites. The questions, in general, asked respondents how easy the databases were to search and use, whether the database content answered their clinical questions, and whether they would recommend the databases for future purchase. Most questions required a response for each of the three databases. The researchers collected quantitative data by using a Likert scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the most positive answer and 1 being the most negative. They collected qualitative data by asking open-ended questions. Main Results – With regard to ease of searching, BMJ Point-of-Care (BMJ) received the greatest number of responses (71%) at level 5. A smaller number of respondents (56%) rated Nursing Reference Centre (NRC) at level 5. Clin-eguide received 59% of the responses at level 5, but it also received the greatest number of responses at the next highest level (level 4). Respondents rated all three databases similarly with regard to levels 1 and 2. Regarding how easy the resources were to learn, most respondents rated all three databases as easy to learn (BMJ, 77%; Clin-eguide, 72%; and NRC, 68%). Very few respondents thought any of the databases were difficult to learn. The researchers gleaned from open-ended questions that the respondents generally thought all three databases were faster and easier to use than the conventional databases they had used. Respondents did not always agree with one another, however, about which features they liked or why. With regard to content, most respondents agreed that the information in all three databases was relevant to their needs (94.6% for Clin-eguide and 87.9% for BMJ and NRC). Respondents also generally agreed that all three databases answered their questions to a high degree. Clin-eguide had the highest percentage of answers at levels 4 and 5 and the lowest percentage of answers at level 2. NRC was the reverse, with the lowest percentage of answers at levels 4 and 5 and the highest percentage of answers at level 2. Still, the researchers felt that all three databases answered respondents’ questions to a similar degree. In the open-ended questions, respondents voiced additional likes and dislikes about content, but again, answers among respondents were not consistent with one another. Respondents were asked how often they would use the resource if it were available though their library. The majority of BMJ users reported that they would use it extensively or moderately. About 36% and 39% of NRC users reported they would use it extensively or moderately, respectively; while 43.5% and 34.8% of Clin-eguide users reported they would use it extensively or moderately, respectively. When asked if they would recommend the resource for the library, 84.8% would recommend Clin-eguide, 75% would recommend BMJ, and 67.6% would recommend NRC. The open-ended questions generally indicated that respondents would recommend all three databases. Regarding how respondents preferred training on these resources, users preferred online tutorials to learn Clin-eguide and NRC. Users preferred website tips and instruction to learn BMJ. The least preferred methods of training for all three databases were live demonstration and classroom training. Conclusion – None of the databases particularly stood out with regard to usability and content. The respondents generally liked all three databases. It is important to note, however, that detailed comparisons among the databases were difficult to make. First, respondents did not always give an answer for all three databases for a given question. Because of this, and to present a more meaningful analysis, the researchers often reported the number of respondents who answered a certain way as a percentage rather than a number. Second, although the respondents generally liked all three databases, opinions about likes and dislikes were not consistent among respondents. For example, one respondent thought the NRC and Clin-eguide interfaces were more difficult to navigate than BMJ, while another respondent thought BMJ had the harder-to-navigate interface. The researchers felt that respondents’ prior experience with the databases may have influenced their preferences. They were unable to determine if the respondents’ professional interests had any influence on their preferences. Inconsistent responses made it difficult for researchers to assign an overall value to a given database. Therefore, this survey did not help to make definitive purchasing decisions. The researchers felt they would have to look at each resource much more carefully to make such a decision. The researchers noted several ideas for future research of this sort. They acknowledged that the sample size was not big enough to determine statistical significance and thought that better marketing of the questionnaire may have increased the numbers. They also thought that it would be interesting to observe the respondents using the databases in real-time to find out such things as: what information they require in their daily work, how long it takes them to find it, and what they do with it once they find it.

Em síntese, a condição corporal exerce efeito sobre: a duração do anestro estacional e do período interovulatório, a secreção de IGF-1 e leptina, o número de ciclos/concepção, as taxas de prenhez, perda embrionária precoce e aborto.

Adolescents are the most important sexually active population in our societies, and given their size and characteristics, majority are exposed to early unplanned and unprotected sexual intercourse leading to unwanted pregnancy and sometimes unsafe abortions. Teenage pregnancy has become very common in the Ghanaian society, especially among adolescents at the Primary and Junior High School (JHS) levels of education. The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of teenage pregnancy in the Komenda, Edina, Eguafo Abrem Municipality in the Central Region of Ghana from 2012-2016. The study employed descriptive survey design to purposively sample teenage mothers and pregnant teenagers seeking antenatal and postnatal care at the Elmina Urban Health Centre and Ankaful Leprosy/General Hospital. Questionnaire and secondary data was collected and analyzed using simple frequencies and percentages. The finding revealed 25% prevalence of teenage pregnancy among the adolescents between 2012 and 2016. Poverty, peer pressure, and the influence of the media (electronic and social) were found to be the major risk factors to influence teenage pregnancy among the participants. Birth complications and school dropouts were the major consequences of teenage pregnancy among the participants. It was concluded that the high prevalence of teenage in the municipality could also lead to high presence of sexually transmitted infections. It was therefore recommended that municipal assemblies establish trade schools as well as use successful indigenes as role models to increase students’ ambition for the future and decrease their engagement in the sexual activities. Also, condom usage should be highlighted in the schools to help those who cannot abstain to use protection.

Phthalocyanines and their analogs have practical interest at development devices with low consumption because these materials are known to considerably modify their electrophysical properties on adsorption of the active gases at low temperatures. The conductivity, resistance-temperature relationship, sensor properties relative to NO, O2 and H2S of films based on oligo-(OPc) and polyphthalocyanines (PPc) containing Co, Cu, Fe and Mn were investigated in the present work. Polymeric films were deposited on the test structures with a pair of interdigital metal electrodes. The sensor’s active area was 4.0 × 4.0 mm, and electrode gap was egual 0.08 mm. The sensitive layers were formed by two methods. The soluble OPcs were deposited from their saturated dimethylformamide solutions and insoluble PPcs were deposited by the thermal sputtering in vacuum. The investigations were carried out under the sensor thermal stabilization conditions in the range 50–250 °C with the constant values of the heater resistance.

Abstract- In this research work, four Vertical Electrical Soundings (VES) were carried out in Ewu Town at various locations: Eguare-Ewu, Idunwele-Ewu, Flour Mill Road-Ewu and Eko-Ewu using the ABEM terrameter, by employing the Schlumberger electrode configuration system to determine the level of groundwater. From the analysis of field data and results of computer iteration, a maximum of four geoelectric layers were obtained. The first layer of geoelectric section was the lateritic top soil with thickness of 1.21m and 11.1m, for VES 1 and VES 2, with apparent resistivity of 438Ωm and 183Ωm. The possible aquiferous zone for sustaining groundwater are within the second and third layers for VES 1 and the fourth layer for VES 2, at a depth of 2.67m – 47m and infinity respectively. The apparent resistivity of the aquiferous layers of VES 1 and VES 2 are 797Ωm and 362Ωm respectively, which is fine sand layer. As the use of isolated cell cultures increases as an experimental model, there has been a proportional increase in the number of matrices used for cell growth support. These matrices vary in shape, texture and porosity, and as a result, affect the cells grown on them.The ultrastructural characteristics of several of these growth matrices were examined using two cell types chosen for their distinct growth habits. Chinese Hamster Ovary cells and Balb 3T3 Mouse Fibroblasts were grown on flat substrates (glass, tissue culture plastic, Millipore filters) as well as spherical (glass, tissue culture plastic, cross-linked dextran) matrices. Cells were plated maintaining egual densities and growth surface area. Once the majority of the cells reached confluency (approx. one week), the cell morphology on each matrix was examined using scanning electron microscopy and digital analysis of cell attachment area.Variation in cell shape was dramatic between matrices, being most noticeable between a textured surface (filter, dextran bead), and that of a smooth (glass) surface (Figs. 1 and 2). Even within smooth surfaces, some variation was observed.

Abstract:

This action research was carried out with the purpose of using a Cooperative Learning strategy to improve the achievement of Form Two students of Eguafo-Abrem Senior High School, Abrem Agona, in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem municipal, in the central region of Ghana on some selected Core Mathematics topics and to investigate whether or not Cooperative Learning positively affects higher achieving students. It targeted a sample of 52 students who were divided into control (N=26) and experimental (N=26) group. The Student Team Achievement Division was employed on the experimental group for 8 weeks to achieve the purpose of the study. Quantitative data was gathered using questionnaires and tests. Paired sample t-test was run to compare the effect of the intervention on achievement scores of the experimental group. The results showed that there was a significant difference between scores of the experimental group before and after intervention (p=.000). The results concluded that cooperative learning strategy had a positive effect on academic achievement and interest of students in Core Mathematics at the Senior High School level irrespective of students’ achievement level and has no negative effect on high achievers. The STAD Cooperative Learning strategy is recommended over the conventional technique which could be attributed to the fact that it makes students develop more positive attitudes towards themselves, peers, adults, and learning in general. Cooperative Learning should be highly encouraged in schools that have the majority of their students being day students. In situations in which it is not suitable to implement Cooperative Learning in class, teachers can assign these tasks as group projects or take-home assignments for the students and this must be regular. Time is essential particularly in the early stages where students are now being introduced to the strategy, for this reason, teachers are therefore encouraged to sensitize the students before and during the intervention process.

Abstract:

The participation of women in local government is one of the burning governance issues in the world today. Such participation is expected to serve as a springboard to propel women to participate at the national level. However, an analysis of women’s participation in local government reveals that women are grossly underrepresented. This study assessed the factors that enhance and inhibit women’s participation in local government as elected representatives in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem Municipality of the Central Region of Ghana. The qualitative approach was used to conduct in-depth interviews using a census of all the elected past and present assembly members in the Municipality. The study revealed that women's participation at the household level, training and education by Non-Governmental Organizations, and cordial working relationship with male colleagues in local government were the main enhancers of women's participation in local government. The inhibiting factors revealed by the study included financial constraints, unreasonably high expectations, and the non-cooperative attitudes of community members. It is recommended that women and girls be made an integral part of household decision-making. Women who contest local elections should be supported financially. The NGOs that ran programs to empower women to participate in local government should be encouraged and supported.

Abstract:

INTRODUZIONE:Gli infermieri utilizzano il ragionamento clinico per guidare le azioni da porre in essere al fine di garantire alla persona un’assistenza adeguata. Il ragionamento clinico richiede tempo per instaurarsi nell’operato di un professionista sanitario e per tale ragione è necessario che questa competenza venga acquisita sin dall’inizio del percorso di formazione di base. Sono esigue le indagini che valutano il grado di acquisizione delle abilità di ragionamento clinico degli studenti infermieri. OBIETTIVI:Obiettivo primario è stato quello di valutare la capacità di ragionamento clinico degli studenti infermieri. Obiettivo secondario è stato analizzare i fattori correlati alle capacità di ragionamento clinico. METODI:La raccolta dati ha previsto la somministrazione della versione italiana dello strumento Nurse Clinical Reasoning Scale. Il Test di Pearson e il Test Anova sono stati utilizzati per esplorare i fattori connessi al ragionamento clinico. RISULTATI:205 studenti hanno risposto al questionario. Gli studenti hanno dichiarato difficoltà nel porre in essere alcune abilità utili allo sviluppo del ragionamento clinico. L’anno di corso (p<0.001), la motivazione dello studente (p=0.04), il numero di ore di tirocinio svolte (p< 0.001) e il numero di esperienze di tirocinio intraprese (p<0.001) hanno mostrato una correlazione statisticamente significativa con il ragionamento clinico. Dai risultati è emerso, inoltre, che, indipendentemente dalla modalità di svolgimento del tirocinio clinico, gli studenti hanno sviluppato in egual modo abilità di ragionamento (p=0.62). CONCLUSIONI:Da questa indagine è emersa l’importanza di misurare le abilità di ragionamento clinico degli studenti infermieri. Future indagini dovrebbero essere condotte per confermare i risultati ottenuti.

Abstract:

The study was designed to examine the contribution of Kakum Rural Bank (KRB) to poverty reduction in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem Municipality (KEEA). The study employed descriptive and evaluative designs. All four agencies in the KEEA municipality were included in the study. The systematic random sampling technique was used to draw 370 customers and 14 members of staff of Kakum Rural Bank who were purposively sampled for the study. Questionnaires were principally used to collect data from respondents. Graphs and tables were used to present descriptive aspects of the results while non-parametric inferential procedure was used to present the evaluative aspect. The results of the study revealed that KRB, with its financial and non-financial services, has helped in poverty reduction in the KEEA Municipality. Data gathered from the respondents showed a significant improvement in most of the poverty indicators, with the exception of provision of potable water and clothing for families. Judging by the potential that KRB has for reducing poverty, it is recommended that the bank should expand its coverage in the municipality.
