El libro que se presenta a continuación emerge en el escenario del III Simposio Internacional y VI Institucional de Experiencias Docentes, evento que se realiza cada dos años en la Universidad de La Salle de Bogotá y que pretende movilizar al cuerpo profesoral para que pueda dar cuenta de sus saberes y el alcance de sus prácticas formativas sobre la base de la reflexión y el análisis de los sentidos, logros y limitaciones de su propia experiencia docente. Para esta ocasión las reflexiones se centran en la Evaluación en escenarios educativos lasallistas. Esta obra consta de dos grandes partes; la primera de ellas, que hemos denominado Perspectivas de la evaluación en el ámbito universitario, contiene los tres primeros capítulos que presentan algunas precisiones conceptuales, retos y tensiones que emergen cuando se habla de evaluación. La segunda parte, llamada Experiencias significativas de evaluación en escenarios educativos lasallistas, condensa veintitrés experiencias de prácticas evaluativas de docentes lasallistas.

Arquitectura contemporánea en contextos patrimoniales es un libro que centra sus temáticas reflexivas en torno a nuevas intervenciones en contextos con pre-existencias, donde la nueva arquitectura pone en valor al patrimonio cultural material e inmaterial, aspecto que generacionalmente ha evolucionado acorde con los momentos históricos y los contextos que inciden en la inserción de arquitectura como creación de última generación. En la actualidad, ya no basta con la mera opción de “articular” pasado y presente, se requiere reflexión sobre los procesos de interacción entre los contextos patrimoniales y la generación de arquitectura contemporánea, enfatizando que cada período ha tenido sus propias contemporaneidades y hoy se comparten escenarios que sin duda marcarán nuestro momento en la historia. El aporte de profesionales procedentes de diferentes países fue vital en la presente producción intelectual, nuevamente en el marco de las Jornadas Internacionales de Reflexión en Patrimonio Cultural 2015 organizadas por la Universidad de La Salle y la Facultad de Ciencias del Hábitat en Bogotá, Colombia, escenario donde experiencias de Italia, España, Estados Unidos, México, República Dominicana, Brasil, Perú y Colombia, le otorgaron continuidad a procesos de reflexión en la intervención con pertinencia de contextos patrimoniales, apuesta social que integra patrimonio y contemporaneidad como una opción alterna al desarrollo de los territorios y sus comunidades
