Abstract. A schematic of the components of regional early warning systems for rainfall-induced landslides is herein proposed, based on a clear distinction between warning models and warning systems. According to this framework an early warning system comprises a warning model as well as a monitoring and warning strategy, a communication strategy and an emergency plan. The paper proposes the evaluation of regional landslide warning models by means of an original approach, called the "event, duration matrix, performance" (EDuMaP) method, comprising three successive steps: identification and analysis of the events, i.e., landslide events and warning events derived from available landslides and warnings databases; definition and computation of a duration matrix, whose elements report the time associated with the occurrence of landslide events in relation to the occurrence of warning events, in their respective classes; evaluation of the early warning model performance by means of performance criteria and indicators applied to the duration matrix. During the first step the analyst identifies and classifies the landslide and warning events, according to their spatial and temporal characteristics, by means of a number of model parameters. In the second step, the analyst computes a time-based duration matrix with a number of rows and columns equal to the number of classes defined for the warning and landslide events, respectively. In the third step, the analyst computes a series of model performance indicators derived from a set of performance criteria, which need to be defined by considering, once again, the features of the warning model. The applicability, potentialities and limitations of the EDuMaP method are tested and discussed using real landslides and warning data from the municipal early warning system operating in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Abstract Landslide early warning systems (LEWS) can be categorized into two groups: territorial and local systems. Territorial landslide early warning systems (Te-LEWS) deal with the occurrence of several landslides in wide areas: at municipal/regional/national scale. The aim of such systems is to forecast the increased probability of landslide occurrence in a given warning zone. The performance evaluation of such systems is often overlooked, and a standardized procedure is still missing. This paper describes a new Excel user-friendly tool for the application of the EDuMaP method, originally proposed by (Calvello and Piciullo 2016). A description of indicators used for the performance evaluation of different Te-LEWS is provided, and the most useful ones have been selected and implemented into the tool. The EDuMaP tool has been used for the performance evaluation of the “SMART” warning model operating in Piemonte region, Italy. The analysis highlights the warning zones with the highest performance and the ones that need threshold refinement. A comparison of the performance of the SMART model with other models operating in different Te-LEWS has also been carried out, highlighting critical issues and positive aspects. Lastly, the SMART performance has been evaluated with both the EDuMaP and a standard 2 × 2 contingency table for comparison purposes. The result highlights that the latter approach can lead to an imprecise and not detailed assessment of the warning model, because it cannot differentiate among the levels of warning and the variable number of landslides that may occur in a time interval.

Abstract. The Norwegian national landslide early warning system (LEWS), operational since 2013, is managed by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate and was designed for monitoring and forecasting the hydrometeorological conditions potentially triggering slope failures. Decision-making in the LEWS is based upon rainfall thresholds, hydrometeorological and real-time landslide observations as well as on landslide inventory and susceptibility maps. Daily alerts are issued throughout the country considering variable size warning zones. Warnings are issued once per day for the following 3 days and can be updated according to weather forecasts and information gathered by the monitoring network. The performance of the LEWS operational in Norway has been evaluated applying the EDuMaP method, which is based on the computation of a duration matrix relating number of landslides and warning levels issued in a warning zone. In the past, this method has been exclusively employed to analyse the performance of regional early warning models considering fixed warning zones. Herein, an original approach is proposed for the computation of the elements of the duration matrix in the case of early warning models issuing alerts on variable size areas. The approach has been used to evaluate the warnings issued in Western Norway, in the period 2013–2014, considering two datasets of landslides. The results indicate that the landslide datasets do not significantly influence the performance evaluation, although a slightly better performance is registered for the smallest dataset. Different performance results are observed as a function of the values adopted for one of the most important input parameters of EDuMaP, the landslide density criterion (i.e. setting the thresholds to differentiate among classes of landslide events). To investigate this issue, a parametric analysis has been conducted; the results of the analysis show significant differences among computed performances when absolute or relative landslide density criteria are considered.

This study aims to determine the Implementation Methods Counseling Learning Method to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung and determine the factors that influence the adoption of the Counseling Learning Method. This study is a research experiment, experimental research is a research method that is used to search for a specific treatment effect against the other in uncontrolled conditions. By using experimental design Pretest – Posttest None Control Group Design. Ways of data collection are observation and an oral test. The results of the analysis of the data obtained on the Application Methods Counseling Learning Method in Learning Arabic to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung based on observations obtained 95.8% means "Very Good" on the level of 80-100%. And based on the results of the oral test of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the adoption of Methods in Learning Arabic is effective to improve speaking skills for second-grade students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi penerapan Metode tersebut. Adapun hasil dari analisis data yang diperoleh tentang Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung berdasarkan hasil observasi diperoleh 95.8% berarti “Baik Sekali” dari tingkatan 80-100%. Dan berdasarkan hasil tes lisan, analisis data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Metode Counseling Learning Method (CLM) dalam Pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Muhajirin Tapung.

This study aims to find out how the application of the Yanbu’a method in improving the reading ability of the Qur’an in class V students at MI Al-Muhsin 1 Krapyak Wetan Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The results of this study namely, in the beginning the method of learning the Qur’an at MI Al-Muhsin 1 used the method of Qiro’ati. Then switch to using the Yanbu’a method for some consideration. The implementation of learning the Qur’an using the method of Yanbu’a implemented as learning in general opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. As for the evaluation of learning done every day and every volume increase. In the implementation of learning the Qur’an using the methods of Yanbu’a. there are several supporting factors, namely a competent teacher, student backgorund, adequate facilities, and support from parents. There are also inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Yanbu’a method namely teacher delay, the attitude of students, parents who only rely on reading the Qur’an in the madrasa, the absence of Yanbu’a training by madrasa and the absence of evaluation for Yanbu’a instructors. The results of the application of the Yanbu’a method in improving the ability to read the Qur’an students based on student achievement data, 13 students out of 25 students who study using the method of Yanbu’a have reached volume 5, 6, and 7 with a percentage of 52%. Abstract:
The goal of this study is to determine the types of writing errors that students at the Khadimul Ummah Bintan Islamic Boarding School make in terms of syntactic elements, as well as give methods to reduce the incidence of these errors. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis method employed a 'discourse analysis', which is a type of analysis that looks for patterns in the texts. The micro linguistic units associated to syntax are examined using the discourse analysis in the texts. This method was used to look at data on the suitability of using Arabic in the subject of insya' to detect faults and discrepancies when using Arabic terms. Results of the study show: (1) students of the Khadimul Ummah Bintan Islamic Boarding School have ten different types of writing errors: nakirah and ma'rifah, mudzakkar and muannats, meaningful harf, dhamir usage, mufrad, mutsanna, and jama', i'rab, fi'il, na'at, and man'ut, mu'rabah, and word writing. (2) Methods for reducing these errors include applying the acquisition of Arabic language rules (Nahwu) via deductive or inductive methods, and implementing the integration of learning. The Khadimul Ummah Islamic Boarding School of Bintan is pioneering the insya' learning approach by using the Insya' Muwajjah learning paradigm, which involves giving students several examples of how to correctly organize Arabic words/sentences and a large amount of daily vocabulary while simultaneously writing it down. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kesalahan tulisan insya’ santri Pondok Pesantren Khadimul Ummah Bintan ditinjau dari aspek sintaksis dan untuk meminimalisir kesalahan menulis. Metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis wacana, yang bertujuan mengetahui pola-pola bahasa yang diekspresikan via teks. Analisis wacana digunakan untuk mengkaji unit bahasa secara mikro, terkait sintaksis yang fokus pada kesesuaian penulisan dan penggunaan Bahasa Arab dalam mata pelajaran insya’. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) ada 10 bentuk kesalahan tulisan insya’ pada santri Pondok Pesantren Khadimul Ummah Bintan pada aspek-aspek berikut ini: nakirah dan ma’rifah, mudzakar dan muannats, harf bermakna, penggunaan dhamir, mufrad. mutsanna, dan jama’, i’rab, fi’il, na’at dan man’ut, mu’rabah, dan penulisan kata. (2) Solusi untuk meminimalisir kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut yaitu: penerapan pembelajaran kaidah Bahasa Arab (Nahwu) dengan metode deduktif atau induktif, menerapkan integrasi pembelajaran kaidah Bahasa Arab (Nahwu) ke dalam pembelajaran insya’ atau sebaliknya, dan melakukan inovasi model pembelajaran insya’ di dalam pondok. Salah satu penerapan model pembelajaran adalah Insya’ Muwajjah dangan memberikan banyak contoh tentang susunan kata/kalimat Bahasa Arab yang benar kepada santri dan memperbanyak kosa-kata harian sekaligus menuliskan kosa kata tersebut.

The learning method is one of the important learning components and is interpreted as a way to realize learning objectives. This research is intended to describe the cooperative learning method type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The focus of discussion in this study is to describe the enthusiasm of learning and describe the steps in applying Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) as an effort to foster student enthusiasm for learning. This research is a library research by using a descriptive analysis method. The analysis technique in this study uses an interactive data analysis model developed by Miles & Huberman, namely: data collection, data reduction, data explanation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning methods in growing enthusiasm for learning can be applied in five stages as follows: first, preparing the learning material. Second, forming groups / teams. Third, determine the initial score. Fourth, building a solid group / team. And fifth, giving awards for the best team. Besides that, the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning method has many positive impacts for students including having the opportunity to express, express ideas, opinions and opinions, and be able to work together and foster social sensitivity with the surrounding environment. This research is aimed to reveal and explain the speaking skill teaching and learning process of Arabic foreign language carried out by a native speaker as the lecturer. Data and data sources of this research are first-semester student’s Arabic listening and conversation of the Education Faculty of Walisongo Semarang State Islamic University. The research is a kind of qualitative research with data collection through observation, interview, and documentation. The finding of research says that the learning methods used in teaching and learning speaking skills by the native speaker are a direct method and “tarjamah” method. There are still many shortcomings and problems were found including the materials, time period, methods and human resources are inadequate. Based on the case this research tries to put down some suggestions to overcome problems suffered by the students and lecturer. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran Mahārah Kalām (keterampilan berbicara) yang dilakukan oleh Native Speaker (penutur asli) sebagai pengajarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pengumpulan datanya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Mahārah Kalām oleh Native Speaker adalah metode langsung dan terjemah. Adapun problem pembelajaran yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran maharah kalam oleh penutur asli datang dari beberapa segi, diantaranya: segi mahasiswa, guru, materi pembelajaran, waktu pembelajaran dan metode pembelajaran. Abstract:
Creating what-if stories requires reasoning about prior statements and possible outcomes of the changed conditions. One can easily generate coherent endings under new conditions, but it would be challenging for current systems to do it with minimal changes to the original story. Therefore, one major challenge is the trade-off between generating a logical story and rewriting with minimal-edits. In this paper, we propose EDUCAT, an editing-based unsupervised approach for counterfactual story rewriting. EDUCAT includes a target position detection strategy based on estimating causal effects of the what-if conditions, which keeps the causal invariant parts of the story. EDUCAT then generates the stories under fluency, coherence and minimal-edits constraints. We also propose a new metric to alleviate the shortcomings of current automatic metrics and better evaluate the trade-off. We evaluate EDUCAT on a public counterfactual story rewriting benchmark. Experiments show that EDUCAT achieves the best trade-off over unsupervised SOTA methods according to both automatic and human evaluation. The background of this research is the low value of istima' maharah scores and kalam in Arabic lessons at MTs Nurul Ummah related to the creativity of teachers' creativity in teaching, there is no training on four language proficiency, teacher development, and methods used by conventional method teachers. The purpose of this study was to study the increase in the value of maharah istima' and kalam with serial whisper games and the difference in values ​​between the experimental class and the control class. This research is field research using quantitative research and experimental methods. The results of this study prove an increase in istima' maharah scores and kalam in the experimental class from pre-action and post-action. Measurement results of istima' maharah pretest and posttest 'Increase the average value of 25.83. On increasing, maharah kalam increased by 25. The results of the analysis can be concluded from the whisper chain game can increase maharah istima' and kalam. Based on the results of the t-test, the value (maharah istima') sig. (2-tailed) = 0.008 so the value of sig. Abstract:
A case-control study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of the Edueat® Method, through experiential workshops focused on the use of all 5 senses. In two different primary schools in the same city, questionnaires were administered in two months with a follow-up one year later. Participants: 119 children (age 8.2–9.0) chosen randomly; control group 66 (55.5%). Seven lessons of 2 h each were held in the schools by experts of the Edueat® method and seven extra lessons by the teachers. The main outcome measures were the children’s changes in their approach and attitude towards their eating habits. The answers were grouped with factor analysis and summarized through scores. Repeated-measures analysis of variance was conducted in order to identify the relationships between scores and treatment over time. At the end of treatment, the intervention group showed a significant appreciation towards healthy foods (+4.15 vs. −0.05, p = 0.02) and a greater capacity in identifying foods which are very good for the health (+15.6 vs. +14.4, p = 0.02). In conclusion, the Edueat® method was found to be particularly promising in transmitting knowledge of those foods which are healthy. Greater involvement of teachers and parents is crucial.

Many researchers have applied computers and information to improve learning, but research on supporting components and laboratory correlations as a support for the long-term stability of digital literacy is still scarce. The laboratory as a supporting unit has a strategic role in the development of digital literacy-based instructional services. This paper aims to conceptualize an Education Laboratory based on digital literacy skills in Indonesia. The concept of an educational laboratory is constructed using qualitative research methods through exploration involving the components of Lecturers, Schools, Students, and Pranata Lab, Department, and Faculties. The integrative framework for digital literacy at the micro and macro laboratory levels is the core of the discussion. The two basic strategies in this paper are the first strategy of the corelasional framework. The second strategy is regarding the conceptualization of the laboratory which is reduced to the function and scope of the laboratory. The findings of this paper are the Conceptualization of Educational Laboratories as academic support, research facilities, and public facilities. Abstrak: Keterampilan literasi digital dalam layanan pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan pada masa Pandemi COVID-19. Penerapan literasi digital pada pembelajaran membutuhkan dukungan stabilitas unit pendukung jangka panjang. Temporary Waste Storage as place for storing waste in the Integrated Laboratory Center was established in 2019. This study aims to study and postpone the Temporary Waste Storage for waste from buildings and their management based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 15 of 2020 and Number 19 of 2021 to make it a more appropriate and sufficient Temporary Waste Storage. The research method is carried out through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using field observation methods, data analysis using SWOT analysis through FGD. The results showed the amount of liquid waste stored was 753,799 liters and solid waste stored was 233.6 kg. The average temperature and humidity in the liquid waste storage room are 29.04°C and 68.47 RH% and in the solid waste storage room 29.17°C and 68.13 RH%. The temporary waste storage management system is in accordance with regulations and standards, the strategy resulting from the SWOT analysis is carried out by improving and adding facilities, as well as making a waste storage schedule to improve the quality of Temporary Waste Storage. Abstrak Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara (TPS) sebagai tempat menyimpan limbah di Pusat Laboratorium Terpadu (PLT) didirikan pada tahun 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengevaluasi Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara (TPS) Limbah dari segi bangunan dan pengelolaannya berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Nomor 12 tahun 2020 dan Nomor 19 tahun 2021 untuk terwujudnya TPS yang lebih layak dan mencukupi. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi lapangan, analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT melalui FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah limbah cair yang tersimpan 753,799 liter dan limbah padat yang tersimpan 233,6 kg. Besar rata-rata suhu dan kelembapan di ruang penyimpanan limbah cair 29,04°C dan 68,47 RH%, di ruang penyimpanan limbah padat 29,17°C dan 68,13 RH%. Sistem pengelolaan TPS limbah sudah sesuai regulasi dan standar, strategi hasil analisis SWOT dilakukan dengan memperbaiki dan menambahkan fasilitas, serta membuat jadwal pengangkutan dan pendataan limbah oleh petugas penyimpanan limbah agar meningkatkan kualitas TPS.

This educational media is called TOLSYASUPI-EduMed. Theresearch and development method (R&D) was used as the main method in thisstudy. The model for system development uses ADDIE by adapting the R&Dmethod. A/B testing methods are used to validate the initial selection ofeducational media design. The form of design until the development stage isvalidated by media and material experts as much as 3 iterations, to ensure thatthe educational media can look for effects on the effectiveness of learning. Atotal of 36 students were involved in the use of this educational media.Evaluation of the use of educational media to determine aspects of satisfactionand usability using the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ)method. The results of the study stated that 90.9% of experts agreed that VeryStrong to choose design B to continue at the advanced design, development,and implementation stages. The results of the validation of media and materialexperts state that it is feasible to use. Based on functional requirementsspecifications, all features function properly, and non-functionally 94.49% withpredicates Very Strong that end-users (students) are satisfied and feel theusefulness of this TOLSYASUPI-EduMed.

Introducción: Las personas mayores recurren con más frecuencia a los servicios sanitarios. El elevado consumo de medicamentos dificulta el cumplimiento terapéutico en este colectivo asociándose a un mayor riesgo de reacciones adversas. El objetivo de este proyecto es evaluar el conocimiento y manejo de los medicamentos en un grupo de personas que acuden a los centros de mayores. Material y métodos: Este estudio se enmarca en un proyecto de Aprendizaje y Servicio (ApS) entre la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) y el Ayuntamiento de Coslada. Los estudiantes diseñaron y elaboraron una encuesta de 32 ítems y entrevistaron a las personas mayores voluntarias (N=366) durante el periodo de Nov-Dic (2019). Tras la recogida de la información, se llevó a cabo un análisis descriptivo estratificado por sexo. Resultados: La edad media de los encuestados fue de 70,7 años, siendo mayoritariamente mujeres (70,2%). Más de dos tercios, percibe su calidad de vida entre muy buena y buena, siendo esta percepción ligeramente superior en mujeres. Los encuestados toman una media de 3,4 medicamentos y un 10% afirmo olvidar alguna toma. Pese a que la mayoría una independencia y autonomía a la hora de consumir la medicación, un 38% recurre a un método recordatorio. Conclusión: El colectivo de personas mayores de Coslada destaca por su alta calidad de vida percibida y conocimiento del manejo terapéutico. El ApS es una oportunidad única de extrapolación directa de conocimientos de Salud Pública a una realidad y necesidad social Introduction: Elderly are making more use of health services and exhibit a high consumption of medicines. This is associated with a difficulty in treatment compliance and with a greater risk of adverse reactions. The aim of this project is to evaluate the knowledge and handling of medicines in a group of elderly community centers. Material and methods: This study is part of a Learning and Service Project (LSP) between the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and Coslada Town Council. The students designed and elaborated a survey of 32 items and interviewed the elderly volunteers (N=366) during the period of Nov-Dec (2019). After collecting the information, a descriptive analysis stratified by sex was carried out. Results: The average age of participants was 70.7 years, with a majority of women (70.2%). More than two thirds perceived their quality of life to be between very good and good, with this perception being slightly higher in women. Participants take an average of 3.4 medicines and 10% forgot medication intake. Even though most of them are independent and autonomous when it comes to taking their medication, 38% use a reminder method. Conclusion: The group of elderly people in Coslada stands out for its highly perceived quality of life and knowledge of their therapeutic management. The LSP is a unique opportunity to directly extrapolate the knowledge of Public Health to a reality and social need.

Online learning at MTs Negeri 8 Jember makes science practicum rarely done in the laboratory so that the laboratory is neglected which causes some tools to be damaged and lost. In addition, the lack of facilities and infrastructure, and laboratory personnel at MTs Negeri 8 Jember is also one of the problems that exist in MTs Negeri 8 Jember. The purpose of this study is to assess the standardization of facilities and infrastructure as well as the science laboratory staff at MTs Negeri 8 Jember. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews. The results show that 75% of the facilities and infrastructures in the MTs Negeri 8 Jember laboratory were available due to missing and damaged practicum tools. Meanwhile, the laboratory staff at MTs Negeri 8 Jember only has ahead of the laboratory, while the laboratory staff and technicians are replaced by the head of the laboratory and the science teacher. The solution to overcome these obstacles, the principal with the school committee, and the laboratory are working together to propose laboratory needs in the form of equipment and materials as well as laboratory personnel. Abstrak: Pembelajaran daring di MTs Negeri 8 Jember membuat praktikum IPA jarang dilakukan di laboratorium, sehingga laboratorium terbengkalai yang menyebabkan sebagian alat rusak dan hilang. Selain itu kurangnya sarana dan prasarana dan tenaga laboratorium di MTs Negeri 8 Jember juga menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang ada di MTs Negeri 8 Jember. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji standarisasi sarana dan prasarana serta tenaga Laboratorium IPA di MTs Negeri 8 Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana yang ada di laboratorium MTs Negeri 8 Jember tersedia sekitar 75 % disebabkan karena beberapa alat praktikum hilang dan rusak. Sedangkan untuk tenaga laboratorium di MTs Negeri 8 Jember hanya memiliki kepala laboratorium sedangkan tugas laboran serta teknisi di gantikan oleh kepala laboratorium dan guru IPA. Solusi untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut kepala sekolah bersama komite sekolah dan pihak laboratorium berkerja sama untuk mengajukan kebutuhan laboratorium baik berupa alat dan bahan serta tenaga laboratorium.

Sedangkan MIN Rakha memiliki alasan dengan mutu lulusan hafiz Al Quran dapat meningkatkan kualitas madrasah dan akan menjadi salah satu daya tarik dari Madrasah. Pemberlakuan kebijakan mutu lulusan hafiz Al Qur’an di MIS Al Islamiah Lumbang dengan tahapan membagi waktu kegiatan dengan jam pembelajaran, memberikan materi Al Quran dan doa-doa pilihan serta yang lainnya. Sedangkan MIN Rakha Amuntai merelialisasikannya dengan diadakannya buku materi dan panduan menghafal, serta memberikan waktu program selama satu jam.

Abstract:
Online learning, conducted through the flatforms such as the zoom, What’s App, and e-learning, is unable to improve students’ comprehension of the contents of lectures. The purpose of the study was to improve the ability of students’ understanding at PIAUD Program UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu by utilizing videos as learning media during the pandemic. The research method used was the quantitative one with an experimental approach. The sampling was 23 respondents of students at 6D class. The data collection method used tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The test data collection instrument used pretest and post-tests. Instruments and data analysis of tests, questionnaires, and interviews assisted by the Google Forms. This study further used the analysis of descriptive quantifiable data. The results of the research show that the use of videos improved the understanding ability of the PIAUD students, and this was obtained from the analysis of student pretest value data before using learning videos at an average of 40.87%. Furthermore, there was an increase in students' comprehension ability at the average post-test scores after using learning the videos as learning media, which was 58.26%. Abstrak Pembelajaran daring yang berlangsung dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom, what’s App, dan e-learning masih belum dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa pada materi yang dipelajari saat perkuliahan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa Program Studi PIAUD UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu dengan memanfaatkan video sebagai media pembelajaran pada masa pandemi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 23 responden dari mahasiswi kelas 6D. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data tes menggunakan pretest dan post-test. Instrumen dan analisis data tes, angket, dan wawancara berbantuan Google Form. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kuantiatif-deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil analisis data nilai pretest mahasiswa sebelum menggunakan video pembelajaran dengan rata-rata sebesar 40,87%, kemudian terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa pada nilai rata-rata post-test setelah menggunakan video pembelajaran sebagai media belajar sebesar 58,26%.

To the extent possible, the drug-related content of each session was the same. The setting was the EduLab facility of the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. Results: An equal number of subjects expressed an outright preference for each method, but results suggested that the order of presentation of the methods might be important. Most participants indicated that if a pharmacist used pictures while advising on medications, print information would still be welcomed. Conclusion: Patients were satisfied with both methods, with no clear overall preference evident within the study sample.

Abstract:
The minimal use of models and methods in mufradāt learning is the background of this research. Researchers try to apply domikara game-based learning (Domino Arabic) as an innovation in learning methods. This study aims to determine the learning process of mufradāt using domikara games (Domino Arabic Vocabulary) and whether there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after applying this learning method mufradāt mastery. This research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group model design, which involved class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The data was collected using tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. This study indicates that the domikara game-based cooperative learning in class VIII A begins with the teacher giving mufradāt, then the teacher reads, and the students imitate it. The teacher removes the mufradāt and continues with the application of domikara games (domino games) in Arabic vocabulary. Based on the post-test score data, the two groups experienced an increase in mufradāt mastery. The average score of the experimental class students, namely 61,764, increased by 91,911, while the average score of the control class began to get 60,588, which increased to 82,647. Be observed the two groups' post-test scores above; it can be seen that the experimental class and the control class both experienced a significant increase. Abstrak: Kurangnya pemanfaatan model dan metode dalam pembelajaran mufradāt melatarbelakangi lahir penelitian ini. Peneliti mencoba menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab) sebagai sebuah inovasi pemanfaatan metode belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran mufradāt dengan menggunakan permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab), dan adakah perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode pembelajaran ini terhadap penguasaan mufradāt. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan model pretest posttest control grup design. Yang melibatkan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis permainan domikara di kelas VIII A dimulai dengan guru memberikan mufradāt, kemudian guru membaca dan siswa menirukan, lalu guru menghapus mufradāt tersebut dan dilanjutkan dengan penerapan permainan domikara (domino kosakata bahasa Arab). Berdasarkan data nilai posttest, kedua kelompok sama-sama mengalami peningkatan dalam penguasaan mufradāt. Melihat rata-rata nilai siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 61,764 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 91,911 sedangkan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol bermula memperoleh 60,588 mengalami kenaikan menjadi 82,647. Dilihat dari nilai posttest kedua kelompok di atas, dapat diketahui bahwa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sama-sama mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan.

This type of research is field research conducted at the Al-Quran Calligraphy School (SAKAL) in Jombang, East Java. The data sources in this study were SAKAL students and teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data obtained were classified and analyzed by descriptive method. For the presentation in the form of descriptive narrative. The results of this research indicate that: First, learning the book through khat riq'ah with manhaj Hamidi aims to realize a pesantren-based madrasa education model, as well as fostering students' skills, morals, intellectuals and spirituality, and building abilities, especially in the field of Al-Qur'an calligraphy. In the process of learning khat Riq'ah, two guide books/Kurrasah were used, including Kurrasah Yusuf Dzannun and Muhammad Izzat. Second, its application in learning begins with giving an example of one point from the teacher to the student, then a colon, the basic letter (ا-ب-م-ي-ق-ص-هـ-ج) followed by the letter mustakhrajat (د-ر-س-ض-ع-ف-ك-لا) after all the letters are finished, continue with murajaah or repeat all the letters that have been learned in one deposit. After the murajaah is finished, it is continued by imitating the sentences in the book. So that by using this method, students' book skills have increased significantly. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan kitabah melalui khat riq’ah dengan manhaj Hamidi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan di Sekolah Kaligrafi al-Quran (SAKAL) yang berada di Jombang Jawa Timur. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SAKAL. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh diklasifikasikan dan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. Untuk penyajiannya dalam bentuk deskriptif naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Pembelajaran kitabah melalui khat riq’ah dengan manhaj Hamidi bertujuan untuk merealisasikan model pendidikan madrasah berbasis pesantren, serta pembinaan keterampilan, moral, intelektual dan spiritual siswa dan membangun kemampuan khususnya bidang kaligrafi Al-Qur’an. Dalam proses pembelajaran khat Riq’ah memakai dua buku panduan/kurrasah, diantaranya kurrasah Yusuf Dzannun dan Muhammad Izzat. Kedua, Penerapannya dalam pembelajaran diawali dengan pemberian contoh titik satu dari guru kepada murid, kemudian titik dua, huruf asasiyah (ا-ب-م-ي-ق-ص-هـ-ج) dilanjutkan dengan huruf mustakhrajat (د-ر-س-ض-ع-ف-ك-لا) setelah semua huruf selesai dilanjutkan dengan murajaah atau mengulang semua huruf yang telah dipelajari dalam satu kali setor. Setelah murajaah selesai dilanjutkan dengan menirukan kalimat yang ada di kitab. Sehingga dengan menggunakan metode ini, keterampilan kitabah siswa mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan.

Background: The aim of the study was to determine the level and changes in the level of temporal-spatial orientation in first-grade pupils from elementary schools who participated in Physical Education classes integrated with subject-related contents that used Edubal educational balls. Material/Methods: Research material comprised first-grade pupils from two classes in an elementary school in Wroclaw, Poland. The study was carried out during the second term of the 2013/2014 school year. Fifty-four pupils (26 girls and 18 boys) were diagnosed in total. The study employed the method of a pedagogical experiment that used the parallel groups technique (experimental class and control class). Results: In the first examination, pupils from the control group obtained better results compared to pupils from the experimental group (p=0.04). In the second examination, pupils from the experimental class obtained better results compared to those from the control group. However, the difference between the results obtained in both groups was not statistically significant (p = 0.87). Conclusions: The results obtained in the study lead to a conclusion that it is justified to carry out further studies in order to evaluate the level and possible changes in temporal-spatial orientation in first-grade pupils from elementary school who participate in Physical Education classes that use Edubal educational balls and to search for the relationships between the pupils’ temporal-spatial orientation and school performance.

Abstract Students entering graduate study in immunology face a sharp transition into the autonomous world of laboratory research and a steep learning curve for the techniques particular to immunology. Our goal was to expose new graduate students to essential research skills to facilitate the transition into rotation laboratories and eventually a thesis lab. At Stanford University, over the past three years, we incorporated a weeklong intensive orientation (“Startup”) involving a series of guided, hands-on projects and workshops designed to introduce incoming graduate students to experimental methods in immunology research. Our curriculum posed questions in both mouse and human immunology, answered through pre-validated experiments including flow cytometry, quantitative PCR and fluorescence microscopy. For example, cytokines were measured by qPCR and intracellular staining of T cells. Data visualization and analysis were introduced through exposure to R, Flowjo and Fiji. The students attended lunches with senior graduate students, dinners with faculty, and tours of core facilities. Surveys of participants before and after Startup revealed improvements in experimental/technical confidence. Also, students reported that Startup built class cohesion and facilitated the selection of rotation labs. In summary, we provide a refined recipe for introducing students to immunology research through hands-on experimental modules that mitigate the pedagogical barriers of first-year graduate school.

Establishing a noble character is one of the goals of Indonesia’s national education. The factors that shape a noble character become an important agenda of the study. This study, therefore, aims to determine the disparity of noble attitudes based on socioeconomic statuses and parenting patterns between girls of madrasah tsanawiyah in the Islamic boarding schools and those girls in the Islamic boarding school (pesantren). Data were collected from student questionnaires. This study uses the ex-post facto method with a 2x2 factorial design. The results of the study found that there are differences in noble characters based on the patterns of parenting. There are differences in noble characters based on the patterns of parenting between girl students who live in Islamic boarding schools and those who do not live in Islamic boarding schools. Also, there is no difference between students with low and high socioeconomic statuses. There is no interaction between the influence of parenting and socioeconomic status on noble characters. Abstrak Menciptakan sikap mulia merupakan salah satu tujuan pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Faktor-faktor yang membentuk sikap mulia menjadi agenda kajian yang penting. Karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui disparitas sikap mulia berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi dan pola asuh para siswi madrasah tsanawiyah antara yang berada di pondok pesantren dan yang berada diluar pondok pesantren. Data dikumpulkan dari angket siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex-post facto dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan akhlak mulia berdasarkan pola asuh. Juga, terdapat perbedaan akhlak mulia berdasarkan pola asuh antara santri yang tinggal di pesantren dan santri yang tidak tinggal di pesantren. Selanjutnya, tidak ada perbedaan diantara santri yang berstatus sosial ekonomi rendah dan tinggi, demikian juga tidak ada interaksi antara pengaruh pola asuh dan status sosial ekonomi terhadap akhlak mulia.

This research is motivated by the lack of reading and translating ability and the lack of utilizing attractive learning methods. Muthola'ah learning requires careful reading skills and Tarjamah learning methods to be able to understand the meaning contained in muthola'ah text. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the muthola’ah learning process in the takhasus class in order to be a new reference material for muthola’ah subject teachers at MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putri. This research is a qualitative field research, with data collection methods using observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The number of students who took the tarjamah test was 18 students. The results showed that the muthola’ah subjects in the takhasus class for the students were, contributing more that with muthola’ah learning could increase students' understanding of Arabic learning, adding vocabulary as provisions to enter the next higher class. The skills achieved with muthola’ah learning include speaking, listening and writing skills. In terms of tarjamah ability, this muthola'ah subject indeed concluded that although teachers often translate from Arabic to Arabic, students can translate into Indonesian with tarjamah lafzhiyah and tahdluriyah types from three written tarjamah tests with the weight of tarjamah question sheets that are different and increase from meeting to meeting. The test results reached an average grade of 95.2. While the tarjamah fauriyah takhasus students test results reached an average grade of 82.8. Keywords: Muthola’ah, Tarjamah, MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putri.

Learning Science does not only require students to be proficient in theory, but also put the theory that has been learned into practice. One of the facilities or places to carry out a practicum activity is a laboratory. In laboratory procurement, of course, there are elements of laboratory management and management that can show and provide an overview of activities related to the laboratory, so that in this case all activities will be more structured and laboratory use will run smoothly. The purpose of this paper is to understand how the laboratory management at SMP Negeri 1 Sukodono Lumajang. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection in the form of interviews and documentation. The results showed that the school had 2 laboratories that were close to each other, supported by complete tools and materials, flexible laboratory usage schedules, the source of funds came from BOS funds, there was an SOP. However, management is considered to be less than optimal, due to the absence of laboratory assistants and technicians in managing the laboratory, thus making science teachers all concurrent. The expectations of students and teachers in laboratory management are even better in terms of management and maintenance so that practicum activities will run effectively and efficiently. Abstrak: Pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya mewajibkan siswa untuk mahir dalam teori, tetapi juga untuk mempraktikkan teori yang telah dipelajari. Salah satu fasilitas atau tempat untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan praktikum yaitu laboratorium. Dalam pengadaan laboratorium pastinya ada unsur pengelolaan dan manajemen laboratorium yang dapat menunjukkan dan memberikan suatu gambaran kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan laboratorium, sehingga dalam hal ini semua kegiatan akan lebih terstuktrur dan penggunaan laboratorium akan berjalan dengan lancar. Tujuan penulisan ini yaitu untuk memahami bagaimana pengelolaan laboratorium di SMP Negeri 1 Sukodono Lumajang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deksriptif kualitiatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah tesebut memiliki 2 laboratorium yang saling berdekatan, didukung dengan alat dan bahan yang lengkap, jadwal pemakaian laboratorium yang fleksibel, sumber dana berasal dari dana BOS, terdapat SOP. Namun pengelolaan dinilai kurang maksimal, dikarenakan tidak adanya laboran dan teknisi dalam mengelola laboratorium, sehingga membuat guru IPA merangkap semuanya. Harapan dari siswa dan guru dalam pengelolaan laboratorium lebih baik lagi dalam hal pengelolaan dan perawatannya, sehingga kegiatan praktikum akan berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Taḥfīẓ al-Qur'an Program at An Nur Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. This study uses qualitative evaluation research. The evaluation uses the CIPP model (context, input, process, product). The subjects of this study were caregivers, managers of the Taḥfīẓ al-Qur'an program, educators, and boarding students. The technique of determining the research sample using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses three steps, namely data reduction, data display, concluding/verification. Test the validity of the data using source and technique triangulation. This study indicates that the three aspects of the Taḥfīẓ al-Qur'an Program at An-Nur Islamic Boarding School, namely context, input, process, are very effective and one aspect, namely product, is an effective category. In general, it can be concluded that the Taḥfīẓ al-Qur'an Program at An-Nur Islamic Boarding School was carried out very effectively. The program has succeeded in creating al-Qur'an memorizers of good quality, responsibility, and akhlāq al-karīmah. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas Program Taḥfīẓ al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren An Nur Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian evaluasi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga aspek Program Taḥfīẓ al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren An-Nur yakni konteks, input, proses termasuk kategori sangat efektif dan satu aspek, yakni produk termasuk kategori efektif. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa Program Taḥfīẓ al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren An-Nur dilaksanakan dengan sangat efektif. Program tersebut telah berhasil menciptakan penghafal al-Qur’an dengan kualitas yang baik, bertanggung jawab, dan berakhlak karimah.

Abstract:
Mufradat or the vocabulary of each language is part of the most critical element because the ability to speak a foreign language for each person is measured by the vocabulary he has. In reality, learning vocabulary such as Arabic is faced with serious problems. Therefore, this article will reveal mufradat learning strategies. The research was carried out using the literature study technique, namely research data found from books, and articles published in various publishers. Data is taken from these sources by carefully reading each source and then taking its meaning according to the research content. The research data were collected with the help of publish or perish and Vosviewer, the data was then analyzed with the help of Nvivo 12. The results of the analysis of the data found some mufradat learning strategies, some of these strategies are singing, translation, consolidation, and metacognitive. Learning strategies can impact students' knowledge in mufradat measured by the teacher's ability to use strategies, and alignment between methods, media, and forms of evaluation with mufradat learning objectives. Abstrak Mufradat atau kosakata setiap bahasa merupakan bagian dari unsur terpenting, karena kemampuan berbahasa asing bagi setiap orang diukur dengan kosakata yang dimilikinya. Pada realitanya, pembelajaran kosakata seperti bahasa Arab dihadapkan pada problem serius. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini akan mengungkap strategi pembelajaran mufradat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik studi kepustakaan, yaitu data penelitian ditemukan dari buku dan artikel yang dipublikasi di berbagai penerbit. Data diambil dari sumber-sumber tersebut dengan cara membaca secara cermat setiap sumber kemudian mengambil maknanya sesuai dengan konten penelitian. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan bantuan publish or perish dan Vosviewer, data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan Nvivo 12. Hasil analisis terhadap data ialah ditemukan beberapa strategi pembelajaran mufradat. Startegi tersebut ialah bernyanyi, penerjemahan, konsolidasi, dan metakognitif. Strategi pembelajaran dapat memengaruhi pengetahuan peserta didik dalam mufradat yang diukur dengan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan strategi, keselarasan antara metode, media, dan bentuk evaluasi dengan tujuan pembelajaran mufradat.

(1) Antecedentes: América Latina fue una de las últimas regiones del mundo en verse afectada por la pandemia de COVID-19. Como respuesta a la emergencia, se implementó la educación virtual en casi todos los países de la región. (2) Métodos: Se realizó un curso en línea abierto masivo (MOOC) sobre epilepsia utilizando solo software y plataformas de acceso abierto, siguiendo las competencias de la Liga Internacional contra la Epilepsia para la enseñanza de la epileptología. (3) Resultados: 250 estudiantes de salud de 8 países latinoamericanos diferentes se inscribieron en el curso y solo el 17.2 (%) de ellos habían participado previamente en cursos como este. Este curso tuvo una tasa de finalización de 37.2 (%) y, de los estudiantes que completaron el curso, 98.3 (%) participaría en cursos como este en el futuro. (4) Conclusión: los MOOC se pueden implementar fácilmente como una estrategia pedagógica poderosa durante la pandemia de COVID-19 y pueden tener un impacto positivo no solo en sus objetivos de aprendizaje propuestos, sino que pueden ayudar a cerrar la brecha que impide que los estudiantes de salud latinoamericanos adquieran activamente conocimiento a través de ellos. (1) Background: Latin America was one of the last regions of the world to become affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a response to the emergency, virtual education was implemented in almost every country of the region. (2) Methods: A massive open online course about epilepsy was made using only open access software and platforms following the international league against epilepsy competence-based domains for epileptology teaching. (3) Results: 250 healthcare students from 8 different Latin American countries enrolled in the course and only 17.2(%) of them had previously participated in courses like this one. This course had a completion rate of 37.2(%) and, of the students that completed the course, 98.3(%) would participate in course like this in the future. (4) Conclusion: In conclusion, MOOCs can be easily implemented as a powerful pedagogic strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic and can have a positive impact not only in in its proposed learning objectives but it can help in closing the gap that prevent Latin American healthcare students to acquire actively knowledge trough them.

Antecedentes: Diseño de un modelo de simulación para formación en cirugía laparoscópica. Métodos: Dentro del Máster Anatomía Aplicada a la Clínica se implementaron tres etapas de formación progresiva en médicos residentes. La etapa 1 se realizó en simulador con material no biológico: manejo de objetos, disección con pinza y tijera, y sutura laparoscópica. La etapa 2 utilizó material biológico (tubo digestivo en fresco) en simulador, para la práctica de sección intestinal y anastomosis intracorpórea. En la etapa 3 se realizaron técnicas laparoscópicas en cadáver en fresco (apendicectomía, colecistectomía, apertura de la transcavidad epiploica, hemicolectomías derecha e izquierda). Se añadió una encuesta de satisfacción a los participantes de la actividad. Resultados: El programa se impartió a 6 residentes de Cirugía General. Todos completaron los ejercicios de las etapas 1 y 2. En la etapa 3 se pudo realizar el neumoperitoneo sin dificultad y los tejidos presentaron una textura adecuada. Los residentes de primer año completaron la apendicectomía y la colecistectomía, pero procedimientos más complejos requirieron residentes con más experiencia. Los participantes encuestados reflejaron que el programa es adecuado y útil para el entrenamiento en laparoscopia. Conclusiones: El modelo propuesto es reproducible y adecuado en adquisición de competencias básicas en cirugía laparoscópica. Background: Design of a simulation model training in laparoscopic surgery for surgical residents. Methods: Three stages of progressive training were programmed within a Postgraduate Degree in Clinical Anatomy. Stage 1 was performed in a box-trainer with synthetic materials: managing small objects, dissection with clamp and scissors, and laparoscopic intracorporeal suture. Stage 2 used biological material (fresh digestive tract from a human corpse) in box-trainer, practicing section and intracorporeal anastomosis. In stage 3, laparoscopy was performed on a fresh corpse (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, lesser sac opening, right and left colectomy). A satisfaction survey was carried out to the participants. Results: Some six General and Digestive Surgery residents took the program. All of them completed the stage 1 and 2 exercises. In stage 3, the pneumoperitoneum could be performed without any complications, and tissues presented an adequate texture. First-year residents completed appendectomy and cholecystectomy, but more complex procedures required more experienced residents. The participants reflected that the program is adequate and useful to gain basic skills in laparoscopy. Conclusions: The proposed model is reproducible and adequate in acquisition of basic skills in laparoscopic surgery.

The adaptation of online learning due to the impact of the coronavirus disease is facing various obstacles, including network restrictions, as well as lack of electronic means and the ability of parents to help children learn. Students who previously studied face-to-face should begin to adapt to learning by using information and communication technology. This study aims to determine the productivity and independence of students in learning activities integrated with the information and communication technology in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Abdul Barri. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The data collection methods used were interviews and observation. Interviews were held with the director, teachers and guardians of students. The results of this study show that the productivity of students in computer-based learning activities is manifested in the activity of collecting student structured assignments using the information technology. Meanwhile, student independence can be measured through the completion of assignments and the submission of them in-hand to the teacher, without relying on parents’ aid, but remain under parental supervision. The computer-based learning as an extracurricular activity has the potential to stimulate the interests of students to use information and communication technology, and to expose them the benefits of the technology-based learning tools as an alternative to school-based learning in order to develop their productivity and independence. Abstrak Adaptasi pembelajaran daring akibat dampak virus corona memiliki berbagai hambatan, antara lain kendala jaringan, serta kurangnya fasilitas elektronik dan kemampuan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar. Peserta didik yang tadinya melakukan pembelajaran tatap muka harus mulai beradaptasi pada pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktivitas dan kemandirian siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Abdul Barri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan observasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Kepala Madrasah, guru, dan wali siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis komputer diukur dari keberhasilan pengumpulan tugas-tugas terstruktur siswa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Sementara itu, kemandirian siswa terlihat pada aktivitas siswa mengerjakan tugas dan mengirimkannya kepada guru secara mandiri tanpa bantuan orang tua mereka, namun tetap dalam pengawasan orang tua. Pembelajaran komputer sebagai ekstrakurikuler mampu menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap terknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta mengenalkan siswa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis teknologi sebagai alternatif pembelajaran di sekolah untuk mengembangkan produktivitas dan kemandirian siswa.

In the current digital era, an educator is required to be able to utilize various technological media as an alternative to support learning activities. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview and insight regarding the use of Microsoft PowerPoint in mahārah istimā' learning, both online and offline. This study used descriptive qualitative methods, while data collection utilized observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis stage in this study used the model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three paths, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing or conclusions. Based on the results, PowerPoint is able to help educators create and deliver mahārah istimā' learning, and can facilitate students acquisition and understand the lecture. Specifically, the advantages of learning mahārah istimā' using the PowerPoint are being able to combine images and audio, using the learner’s own voice, using Arabic audio such as al-Arabiyah Bayna Yadaik MP3, or using a native speaker’s illustrations with writing through the narakeet.com website, which is applied in this research. Materials that have been uploaded into the PowerPoint can be saved in PDF and MPEG-4 video formats so that students can study them independently. The contents of the learning materials, both images, and audio can also be changed as needed. Abstrak Di era digital saat ini seorang pendidik dituntut untuk mampu memanfaatkan berbagai media teknologi sebagai alternatif untuk mendukung aktivitas pembelajaran. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran dan wawasan terkait pemanfaatan Microsoft Power Point dalam pembelajaran mahārah istimā’, baik secara daring maupun luring. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuisioner. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga alur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan atau kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Media Power Point dapat membantu pendidik dalam membuat dan menyampaikan pembelajaran mahārah istimā’, serta memfasilitasi peserta didik menerima dan mengerti materi pembelajaran. Secara spesifik kelebihan pembelajaran mahārah istimā’ menggunakan Power Point adalah bisa memadukan antara gambar dan audio, baik menggunakan suara sendiri, audio bahasa Arab seperti al-Arabiyah Bayna Yadaik MP3, atau audio bahasa Arab dengan tulisan melalui website narakeet.com. The COVID-19 outbreak arises problems in learning Arabic. Some instructors feel they spontaneously do not require the language environment (bi'ah lughawiyyah) in the teaching and learning process. This obviously has such a broad impact on the four language skills and one of the biggest challenges for them is that they could not teach Arabic speaking skills communicatively. This study aims to offer a considerable insight about the use of Zoom Cloud Meetings in improving Arabic speaking skills (mahārah kālam) during the pandemic. The study used qualitative descriptive methods and the data were collected through interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using the theory of Miles and Huberman. Based on the review of results of interviews and documentation, Zoom Cloud Meeting is an effective way to improve students’ speech as it provides complete features so that communication between lecturers and students using Arabic can be established properly. To improve these skills, storytelling (taqdimul qisshah) and conversation (muhadatsah) are practiced. As a learning medium, Zoom certainly has advantages and disadvantages. The benefits of this media include having complete features, good access, large, flexible, and high capacity and supporting the teaching and learning process. While the drawbacks of using zoom application are the extra financial burden for internet quota, media restrictions, and having a strong internet connection. Abstrak Kehadiran virus Covid-19 memunculkan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Beberapa pendidik merasa kehilangan bi’ah lughowiyyah pada proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini mengakibatkan empat keterampilan bahasa, khususnya keterampilan berbicara tidak dapat terealisaikan dengan maksimal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan kepada pendidik tentang pemanfaatan Zoom Cloud Meeting dalam meningkatkan mahārah kālam pada masa pandemi. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teori Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi, Zoom Cloud Meeting dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan mahārah kālam mahasiswa. Hal ini dikarenakan Zoom menyediakan fitur-fitur yang lengkap, sehingga komunikasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa dengan menggunakan bahasa Arab dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan mahārah kālam adalah metode taqdimul qisshah dan muhadatsah. Sebagai media pembelajaran, Zoom memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Kelebihan dari media tersebut adalah tersedinya fitur-fitur yang lengkap dan mendukung proses belajar mengajar, kapasitas ruang yang besar, fleksibel, dan kapasitas akses yang tinggi. Sedangkan kekurangannya adalah borosnya kuota internet, pembatasan media dan harus terhubung dengan jaringan internet yang kuat.

Introducción.La pandemia por COVID-19 supuso la interrupción de las rotaciones clínicas en España y en el resto del mundo. En varias Universidades los estudiantes han vuelto al entorno clínico en el primer cuatrimestre del curso académico 2020/2021. Nuestro trabajo pretende evaluar la percepción y el nivel de ansiedad ante el riesgo de contagio por SARS-CoV-2 de los estudiantes de la asignatura de Obstetricia (Sexto de Medicina) en su rotación clínica en el servicio de Obstetricia y Ginecología en nuestro hospital. Métodos. Se diseñó un cuestionario basado en la versión breve de 6 ítems del cuestionario de ansiedad estado-rasgo (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) para evaluar el nivel de ansiedad de los alumnos ante el riesgo de infección en cada uno de los puestos de rotación: consultas, paritorio, urgencias y planta de hospitalización. Resultados. La participación fue del 100% de los alumnos matriculados en la asignatura. El 73,69% de los estudiantes se sintieron bastante o muy seguros durante la rotación y el 89,48% consideraron que su aprendizaje durante las prácticas no se vio reducido por la situación de pandemia. El nivel medio de ansiedad mostrado en cada uno de los puestos de rotación fue bajo. Conclusiones. Las rotaciones clínicas en un entorno de pandemia, con las medidas de seguridad adecuadas y una relación alumno-médico 1:1 son posibles, seguras y necesarias para la correcta formación del estudiante de Medicina. Introduction. The COVID-19 pandemic led to clinical rotations disruption in Spain anth the resto of the world. In several colleges, students have returned to the clinical environment in the first semester of 2020/2021 academic year. We aim to evaluate the students´ perception and anxiety caused by the risk of infection by SARS-CoV-2 in their clinical rotation at the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of our Hospital. Methods. A survey was designed based on the 6-item version of de State-Trait Anxiety Inventory to assesss the students´ anxiety level at each place of rotation: delivery room, emergencies, consultations and hospitalization. Results: Participation rate was 100%. 73.69% felt quite or very safe during the rotation and 89.48% thought their learning was not reduced by the pandemic situation. The average level of anxiety shown was very low. Conclusions. Clinical rotations in a pandemic environment, with the appropriate security measures and a 1:1 student-physician ratio are possible, safe and necessary for the correct training of the medical student.

Abstract The purpose of this research opportunity was to investigate the methods and roles of cell signaling via protein cascades and their connections to the functionality of the immune system. During my summer internship, I worked with investigators at the United States Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) to develop and test the activity of man-made protease cascades that could someday mirror the complement system in its aggressive response to specific signal molecules. My research experience inspired me to develop a unit for a second year Biology/AP Biology course. Students will examine the effects of several factors, including protease concentration, substrate concentration, and a non-cascade reaction, on reaction rates through construction of both physical models and simulated protease cascades. In this unit, students first work with a hands-on physical manipulative model to familiarize them with how a protein cascade works. Then, all of the students will work in tandem on a kinesthetic activity modeling exactly how protein cascades behave. This activity allows for a cost-effective method of demonstrating protease cascades without expensive lab equipment and reagents. Students translate their knowledge into the application stage when they examine how protease cascades work in the human body and discuss various uses and effects of cascades, such as protein kinases, on the immune system.

Abstract:
History of Islamic Culture (SKI) is a subject that emphasizes the ability of students to take lessons from Islamic history by imitating figures who excel in their time and developing Islamic culture and civilization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Quizizz Educational Game in improving student learning outcomes in SKI lessons at MI Al-Huda. This research is a type of field research with an experimental approach. The research subjects were class 4 students, totaling 52 students. Class IVA became the experimental class with 25 students and class IVB became the control class with 27 students. Methods of data collection using tests, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that learning with the Quizizz Educational Game in class IVA was effective. The test results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average score increase in the experimental class was 9.83 and for the control class, it increased by 9.6. Based on statistical analysis with the t-test calculation, the significance value was 0.000 <0.05. The results of the statistical test indicate that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of SKI between the experimental group and the control group. This proves that the increase in student learning outcomes is influenced by the use of Quizizz Educational Games. Abstrak: Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) merupakan mata pelajaran yang menekankan pada kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengambil hikmah pelajaran dari sejarah Islam dengan cara meneladani tokoh yang berprestasi pada masanya serta mengembangkan kebudayaan serta peradaban Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas Game Edukasi Quizizz dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran SKI di MI Al-Huda. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Subjek penelitianya adalah peserta didik kelas 4 yang berjumlah 52 siswa. Kelas IVA menjadi kelas eksperimen berjumlah 25 siswa dan kelas IVB menjadi kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan Game Edukasi Quizizz di kelas IVA berjalan efektif. Hasil tes memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dibanding kelas kontrol. Rata-rata peningkatan nilai di kelas eskperimen sebesar 9,83 dan untuk kelas kontrol meningkat sebesar 9,6. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dengan perhitungan uji-t didapatkan nilai signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil uji statistik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar SKI antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dipengaruhi penggunaan Game Edukasi Quizizz.

Abstract:
This research was conducted to know the extent to which students have reached their basic knowledge because, if it is too late, it will become a risk for evaluation and improvement in the future. They also will find it difficult when teaching their students later. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the inquiry learning model and the student's basic knowledge about the material "the nature and change of object form" with the Quizizz game. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data analysis used the model of Matthew B. Milles A. Michael Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From the results of the study, the implementation of the inquiry learning model on the material "the nature of change in the shape of objects" has six stages, namely, the lecturer prepares RPS and LKPD, while students raise questions, conduct experiments, and observations, explain the results of observations, and do quizzes using "Quizizz games". The Quizizz game has 15 questions, with a sample of 23 PGMI students. After applying the inquiry learning model, the basic knowledge of PGMI students whose scores are above 80% are 19 students, and those below 80% are four students. This is based on the data obtained by the researchers from the student Quizizz game scores. So, it can be concluded that in the implementation of the inquiry learning model, Quizizz games can be used as a supporting medium to determine the basic knowledge of students about the nature of change in the shape of objects. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pentingnya pengetahuan dasar mahasiswa karena, jika hal ini terlambat diketahui, ini akan berdampak pada evaluasi dan perbaikan di kemudian hari. Mereka juga kesulitan ketika mengajar siswa-siswi nantinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi “sifat dan perubahan wujud benda” berbantuan game Quizizz dan pengaruhnya terhadap pengetahuan dasar mahasiswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Analisis data menggunakan model Mattew B. Milles A. Michael Huberman yang terdiri atas reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi sifat perubahan wujud benda terdapat enam tahapan, yaitu dosen menyiapkan RPS dan LKPD, mahasiswa membuat pertanyaan, melakukan percobaan, pengamatan, memaparkan hasil pengamatan, dan mengerjakan kuis menggunakan game Quizizz. Game Quizizz terdiri dari 15 butir soal, dengan sampel 23 mahasiswa PGMI. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri, skor pengetahuan dasar mahasiswa PGMI diatas 80% ada 19 mahasiswa dan dibawah 80% ada empat mahasiswa. Hal ini berdasarkan pada data yang didapatkan dari skor game Quizizz mahasiswa. Karena itu disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan game Quizizz dapat digunakan sebagai media pendukung untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dasar mahasiswa mengenai sifat perubahan wujud benda.

Abstract:
Research on emotional competence development (ECD) in university students is scarce and shows mixed results. This research establishes what is possible to expect from an optional self-leadership program (SLP) consisting of eight workshops of three hours each, and with a student-centered and experiential approach. The research method was a mixed DEXPLIS design (n=126), which is quasi-experimental ex-post-facto for the first quantitative phase, with experimental and control groups where the CDE A35 self-informed instrument of Bisquerra and Pérez-Escoda was administered, and with participation in qualitative interviews in the second phase. The results indicate global progress in ECD, more evident in intrapersonal emotional competence (EC), although the SLP has not been effective in interpersonal EC. The students perceive their ECD as being very important. In the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), ECD is part of the acquisition of generic or transversal competences, which contribute to more effective and integral training, as well as to a better preparation for the world of work.

Background. The article covers the meanings of term “integration”, the spheres of use of these terms, the prospects of application in the education system, the concepts of integration of higher education and production. Opinions on the cooperation of higher education and manufacturing enterprises, taking into account the mutual interests, were expressed. The integration is mainly aimed at training qualified personnel, improving their skills, as well as conducting joint research, implementation of scientific developments, formation of qualified specialists’ database, etc. Methods. The article used survey, differential-semantic, control, observation and comparison methods to determine the opportunities of students to occupy a place in the labor market through cooperation between higher education institutions and manufacturing enterprises. Results. 1. The integration of higher education and industry is, firstly, economical and efficient, secondly, it accelerates scientific and technological progress, and thirdly, they allow the rational use of the intellectual potential of science and higher education not only in one country but in the world community.

Introducción. Con el objetivo de promover y motivar al aprendizaje continuo durante el curso de la asignatura de Obstetricia (6º Medicina), se diseñó un calendario de “Pruebas de Evaluación Continua” (PEC). Este aprendizaje progresivo permite interiorizar conceptos, mejor seguimiento de las clases sucesivas y facilita el estudio, mejorando el rendimiento final. Métodos. Se diseñaron 4 PEC voluntarias, una por bloque del temario, con 10 preguntas tipo test sin puntuación negativa por error, para estimular al alumnado a pensar en cada una de las cuestiones y tomar decisiones. Las PEC se realizaron en los últimos 10 minutos de la última clase de cada bloque. Medicina tiene cinco grupos, uno por hospital docente. Esta iniciativa se realizó sólo en uno de los grupos (grupo A). Resultados. Se presentaron a las PEC el 90,9% de los alumnos matriculados. En la primera PEC la calificación media fue 68% (máximo 90%; mínimo 50%; moda 70%), en la segunda 88% (máximo 100%; mínimo 60%; moda 90%), en la tercera 95% (máximo 100%; mínimo 80%; moda 100%) y en la cuarta 99% (máximo 100%; mínimo 90%, moda 100%). La calificación media en el examen final de la asignatura (común a los 5 grupos) del grupo A fue de 7,300 (sobre 10), superior a la de los grupos B (6,886), C (6,592), D (6,572) y E (6,463). Conclusiones. Se objetivó un aumento del rendimiento progresivo grupal e individual. Los resultados de la primera PEC fueron más dispersos, y posteriormente se fueron homogeneizando. El grupo en el que se realizaron las PEC obtuvo mejor resultado en el examen final que los otros grupos. Abstract: Introduction. We designed a “Continuous Assessment Tests” (CAT) for promoting and motivating continuous learning during the course of the subject “Obstetrics” (6th year of Medicine). This progressive learning enables concepts to be internalized, better monitoring of successive classes and facilitates study, improving results. Methods. Four voluntary CAT were designed, one per block of the subject, with 10 multiple choice questions without negative score by mistake to stimulate students to think about each of the questions and make decisions. The CAT were performed in the last 10 minutes of the last class of each block. Medicine has five groups, one per teaching hospital. This initiative was carried out in only one of the groups (group A). Results. 90.9% of the enrolled students attended the CAT. In the first CAT the mean score was 68% (maximum 90%; minimum 50%; mode 70%), in the second 88% (maximum 100%; minimum 60%; mode 90%), in the third 95% (maximum 100%; minimum 80%; mode 100%) and in the fourth 99% (maximum 100%; minimum 90%, mode 100%). The mean score in the final exam of the subject (common to the 5 groups) of group A was 7,300 (out of 10), higher than that of groups B (6,886), C (6,592), D (6,572) and E (6,463). Conclusions. An increase in group and individual progressive yield was observed. The results of the first CAT were more dispersed, and later they were homogenized. The group in which the CAT were performed got better yield in the final exam than the other groups.
