Abstract:
The article analyzes the state of learning a foreign language in a modern preschool institution. It was found that at present teaching a foreign language in preschool institutions is an important component. Preschool children, who studied foreign languages, providing their teaching was organized methodically correctly, successfully continue their study at school, and acquire knowledge of a foreign language better. Learning English by preschoolers is a special type of educational activity. In the learning process speech is both a leading teaching tool and a subject. Children do not learn the components of an unfamiliar language, but immediately master it as a means of communication. The focus is on psychological characteristics of preschool children and features of educational activities organized for preschool children at English classes, as well as the conditions that ensure the effectiveness of stable speech skills based on Helen Doron educational project in preschool education of Ukraine. It has been determined that the peculiarities of teaching English for preschool children are based on the characteristic features of children's perception of the environment. Young children perceive the world through their bodies that is looking assembling, spreading, savoring, smelling, touching, moving, and others. Scientists indicate that children at early age equally perceive words in several languages providing they are in the appropriate environment. It is noted that at the initial stage of teaching English the teacher uses a large number of visual aids, objects that surround children, facial expressions, gestures, movements, and feelings. It is determined that English learning of upper preschool age must be intrinsically motivated. The most effective organizational form of learning, which is closely related to this age group, is a game. During a game children involuntarily make efforts, develop their memory, practice English pronunciation, use foreign words and phrases. The structure of the course for children under six years old according to the method of Helen Doron is considered. It is determined that active or sustained acquisition of educational material occurs only when the child performs cognitive, communicative and intellectual activity. Keywords: Helen Doron method, organization of educational activity, psychological characteristics, speech activity, preschool children, preschool education institution.

Abstract:
The article reveals the problem of using media technologies in the process of working on the educational components of national-patriotic education. An overview of the main theoretical provisions on the concept of "creolized text", its varieties and the problem of introducing innovative technologies in the world process of higher education and, accordingly, the professional orientation – the use of such technologies in the practice of preschool education. The article considers the peculiarities of the influence of both verbal and nonverbal teaching aids, focuses on the types of texts that are accompanied by a video series. On the material of the educational component "National-patriotic education in the philological cycle in preschool education" for the preparation of bachelors in the educational-professional program 012 "Preschool education" made a thematic review and described possible options for using different types of creolized texts in mastering the course. The logic of scientific research has necessitated the scientific discourse of the problem of ways to use texts of this type in practical classes. Peculiarities of creolized texts are connected with the potential of modern media technologies, which create a visual series, influence the formation of humanistic values of personality, become a special form of communication interaction in the context of global civilization, influence the formation of national values: patriot citizen, national dignity, preservation of historical memory. traditions and mentality of the Ukrainian people. Conclusions are made about the need to use innovative technologies in the educational process, as it is another means of influencing preschoolers in order to form a conscious citizen and patriot. Thus, the education of national and patriotic feelings in the younger generation is a long and systematic process, it should not be only contemplative, limited to passive reactions of admiration and liking.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the problem of organization of childrens preschool educational institutions in the second half of the XIX century – at the beginning of the XX century in Ukraine, which was part of the Russian Empire, in particular in Kyiv. It was found that there were not enough preschools at that time, and orphanages did not solve the problem of preparing children for school and their upbringing. Preschools were opened in the green corners of Kyiv, first at the expense of philanthropists, they were called kindergartens, and then some of them were maintained at the expense of the budget of Kyiv. Much work in this direction was carried out by the Society of Kindergartens, established in Kyiv in 1907, which took care of the creation and operation of such institutions, the selection of staff for them; other public organizations, patrons. The kindergarten program included mandatory walks for children in any weather, exercises to develop hand motor skills, preparation for school. Only people with pedagogical education could work as educators in such institutions. As there were not enough of them, the Froebel Institute was engaged in preparation. There was a special school for the preparation of nannies for kindergartens, in which girls with primary education received theoretical knowledge and helped educators to cope with children. The school students were taught to cook, sew, and repair children's clothes. Lectures at the nanny school were given by well-known teachers, including Tymofiy Hryhorovych and Natalia Dmytrivna Lubenets, who worked at the school for free. The work of the Society of Folk Kindergartens was multifaceted. In Kyiv in January 1908 in the school named after M. Tereshchenko it was held an extremely interesting exhibition "Preschool Education", which contained 2 halls. The first recreated components of the "exemplary" children's room of the time. It had a corner with toys, children's works and other components necessary for the child. In the second hall the methodical materials of that time, visual aids, children's toys and a library for children and educators were collected. The exhibition was international. An exhibition of children's "folk" toys from Kyiv and Poltava regions was also organized. In cooperation with the Sikorski Institute, the organizers created an exhibition of scientific literature. At the exhibition on weekends there were also lectures by scientists on child rearing, and for preschoolers at this time organized the reading of fairy tales.

Abstract:
This article presents preschool teachers’ and assistant teachers’ opinions on the importance of selected fields of educational work in kindergartens. The article first highlights the importance of activities expressingartistic creativity within modern curriculums. Then, it presents an empirical study that examines the preschool teachers’ and assistant teachers’ opinions on the importance of the educational fields, art genres, andvisual arts fields. In research hypotheses, we presumed that preschool teachers find individual educational fields, individual art genres, and individual visual arts activities to be of different importance; consequently, education in kindergarten does not achieve the requisite holism. The study is based on the descriptive and causal-non-experimental method. We have determined that the greatest importance is attributed to movementand language, followed by nature, society, art and mathematics. Within art genres, the greatest importance is attributed to visual arts and music and the least to audio-visual activities. Within visual arts, drawingand painting are considered to be the most important and sculpting the least. These findings can support future studies and deliberation on the possible effects on practice in terms of requisitely holistically plannedpreschool education.

It is the fact that technology has developed rapidly today. Such a development has influenced communication pattern among people, including communication in the field of education, particularly the process of instruction in a class between teacher and student. Audio visual aids began to be utilized to deliver educational messages. In this case, these audio visual aids were functioned not merely as device aids in education but more than that they can function as an effecitve educational message deliverer. To support the success of teaching and learning process in a class, the utilization of audio visual aids need to be maximized. The utilization of instructional media, especially the ones based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a must and need to be adopted by all teachers today if they wish to have effective and efficient instructions. This is valid for not only teachers who work in formal educational institution like a school, but also for teachers working in non-formal educational institution such as educational park of the Quran (TPQ).

Abstract:
This paper reviews the literature on the use of audio-visual to improve lower proficiency learners’ English Language. Audio-visual aids have been very beneficial to make learning interesting among the English as a second language (ESL) because it facilitates learning. Teachers have to be innovative in their pedagogy approach to make language teaching effective. Today, teachers are no longer dependent on traditional method of teaching instead they have adapted different techniques to teach language. Past studies have reported that teachers opted to use audio-visual because students showed less interest towards English language, students view English language as subject to fulfil the examination requirement, students’ displayed reluctance to speak due to their fear to make mistakes in pronunciation and other. Hence, this paper further analyses the need to investigate the issues that are related on the usage of audio-visual aids to the teaching of English language which needs immediate attention.

Abstract:
USING AUDIO VISUAL MEDIA IN YOSOWILANGUN STUDENTS, LUMAJANG DISTRICT ABSTRACT The increasing number of adolescents with HIV and AIDS is possible because of limited access to information and health services which has an impact on the lack of true knowledge about HIV and AIDS. Understanding adolescents about HIV and AIDS is still very minimal, even though adolescents, including age groups are vulnerable to risk behavior. Increasing adolescent understanding about HIV / AIDS prevention can be done by providing health education / education especially for high school students Yosowilangun. The purpose of this activity is that all students of Yosowilangun High School, Yosowilangun District Lumajang Regency become more understanding about HIV / AIDS prevention. Some factors that are very supportive of the success of this community service activity are good coordination between the speaker and the school, Submission of material in the form of a video that is quite interesting for high school students classified as teenagers, there are discussions and questions and answers that are not limited by time, as well as prizes for participants who dare to ask. Some inhibiting factors in this community service activity are presenters (which in this case are a few students) need mastery of counseling targets totaling more than 100 participants and in the age that is not much different. But this can be overcome. The results of these community service activities can be said to be successful because 93% of students have good knowledge and understanding of HIV / AIDS prevention after being given health education. This can be observed at the level of attendance, participant activity, Keywords: audio visual; education; HIV / AIDS

Abstract:
Research on second-language (L2) speech acquisition suggests that audio-visual aids could be effective in helping learners acquire difficult L2 speech sounds (Li, 2016a). However, most previous studies have been restricted to laboratory settings rather than the classroom environment. The present study, therefore, was designed to fill this knowledge gap by analysing the effectiveness of audio-visual aids, particularly articulatory gestures, in teaching L2 speech sounds in actual classrooms. The participants were students from two classes of non-English majors who had severe difficulties with the differentiation of /θ/–/s/ and /ð/–/z/. ‘Read-aloud’ tasks were employed for pronunciation tests. The baseline data of the students’ pronunciation of the two contrasts was collected with a pre-test, and the intuitive–imitative approach was adopted for teaching. Specifically, the students were exposed to seven audio- or audio-visually recorded poems (one poem per week over the course of seven weeks) containing the target contrasts. The students in Class 1 were taught with the audio-recordings without images of the speaker’s face being displayed; in contrast, students in Class 2 were taught using audio-visual recordings, which allowed them to observe the speakers’ articulatory gestures of /θ/–/s/ and /ð/–/z/. To detect the teaching effect, a post-test was carried out after the teaching programme was completed. A delayed post-test was conducted one month after the post-test. Comparisons with the respective pre-test results indicated that students in Class 2 had a significant improvement in the pronunciation of the target contrasts in the post-test, whereas those in Class 1 did not. In the delayed post-test, neither class showed any significant difference in the pronunciation performance in comparison with the post-test. The findings, therefore, confirmed the effectiveness of exposure to audio-visual aids in teaching L2 pronunciation.

Abstract:
The research aimed to discuss the need for a learning tool that was capable of presenting audio and visual aids to accommodate students in learning writing. It was urgently needed as a logical consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which disallowed face-to-face learning to be conducted. The research was conducted at the Department of English Education, Faculty of Teachers Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare, by utilizing a questionnaire to explore the characteristics of ideal writing material restricted to visual aids. The research was participated by the second and fourth-semester learners as the population and recruited the samples based on simple random sampling. Every individual in the population had an equal chance to be chosen as a sample. There were 30 undergraduate students who enrolled in basic writing and advanced writing courses who became the subject of the research. Based on the research findings, eight characteristics of good audio visuals are recommended by the students. Those characteristics include the visual and audio elements/items, creative and innovative content, language and expression, operations and mechanisms (various learning opportunities and preferences), and eye-catching form/shape/design, which deliver brief and clear learning material under several considerations. Furthermore, following the findings, it also indicates that the effectiveness of delivering audiovisual aids materials in the learning process depends on how clear the audiovisual item (i.e. the text and audio, how efficient the material and audiovisual durations provided, how interesting and well-organized the design to attract students’ learning intention, how good the visual quality and how the audiovisual) can be produced into a small size to minimize the use of internet data. The research concludes that audiovisual learning materials need to be selectively chosen and periodically and systematically evaluated to best facilitate students in dealing with writing.

Abstract:
This study investigates the efficacy of audio-visual technologies in assisting MSU third-year students in learning English vocabulary. The interplay of audio-visual aids in educational conversations has been researched from a variety of perspectives (Tuovinen, 2000). Multimedia is a multimodal experience in which information is communicated through text, graphics, pictures, audio, and video. It has been demonstrated that a combination of words and images always carries a substantial quantity of information (Mayer, 2018: 55). The use of multimedia in teaching and learning. The goal of this research is to determine the efficiency of audiovisual aids in the learning of English vocabulary among MSU third-year students. The use of multimedia in instruction and learning threatens the foundations of higher education. The current study investigates how third-year students at Malaysia's Management and Science University use multimedia in their English studies (MSU). To fulfill the study's aims, the researchers used both a qualitative and quantitative approach. An online poll of 200 students enrolled in the Bachelor of English as a second language program was used to construct the study corpus (BTESL). In addition, 150 MSU students from the same program were polled. The study's findings indicate that multimedia inspires BTESL students to learn English creatively and engagingly. It also aroused students' attention and compelled them to learn new terms. Multimedia, according to the study, is an excellent tool for third-year English students. It also helps students enhance their understanding of correct terminology and language.

Abstract:
The prevalence of either completely online or hybrid courses has continued to increase over the past decade, but properly designing the delivery mode of these courses remains a challenge. Whereas fully online institutions of higher education may focus on a purely online delivery format, more traditional colleges and universities have the challenge of balancing online and traditional classroom instruction using the hybrid course format. Whereas basic hybrid courses may have relied more on visual aids of instruction, this paper focuses on the effectiveness of enhancing these hybrid courses with audio lectures. Hybrid courses were created using PowerPoint slides consisting of a mix of visual and audio instructional delivery modes, and student surveys were subsequently administered at the conclusion of the semester to determine the ultimate effectiveness of audio enhancements. This paper presents the details of this case study, the corresponding statistical analyses and interpretations, and general concluding recommendations for audio-enhanced course design. Overall, the addition of the audio component to the hybrid course structure made the hybrid course experience more effective, increased the likelihood that the students would take or recommend future hybrid courses that contained audio enhancements, and made it more likely that the students would prefer a hybrid course to a traditional classroom-only course. Continued research is necessary to provide a more active learning experience and class community during the online components, and synergistically utilize classroom time more effectively to truly capture the benefits of both online and traditional instruction using the audio-enhanced hybrid course format.

Abstract:
Many studies have shown a link between being competent in early mathematics and achievement in school. Early math skills have the potential to be the best predictors of later performance in reading and mathematics. Movement and songs are activities that children like, making it easier for teachers to apply mathematical concepts through this method. This study aims to develop audio-visual learning media in the form of songs with a mixture of western and traditional musical idioms, accompanied by movements that represent some of the teaching of early mathematics concepts. The stages of developing the ADDIE model are the basis for launching new learning media products related to math and art, and also planting the nation's cultural arts from an early age. These instructional media products were analyzed by experts and tested for their effectiveness through experiments on five children aged 3-4 years. The qualitative data were analyzed using transcripts of field notes and observations and interpreted in a descriptive narrative. The quantitative data were analyzed using gain score statistics. The results showed that there was a significant increase in value for early mathematical understanding of the concepts of geometry, numbers and measurement through this learning medium. The results of the effectiveness test become the final basis of reference for revision and complement the shortcomings of this learning medium. Further research can be carried out to develop other mathematical concepts through motion and song learning media, and to create experiments with a wider sample. Abstract:
Mathematical education is currently undergoing significant changes that are driven by technology and digital-based learning. Students with visual impairments (VI) may face different challenges in mathematical education due to a lack of accessible materials designed to support the development of conceptual understanding in mathematics. The aim of the study was to summarize current evidence-based knowledge about e-learning in mathematics among students with severe VI. A systematic review was conducted of articles published from January 2000 to November 2017. A total of 13 publications met the inclusion criteria, of which 12 reported studies with an intervention or an experimental design and one had a cross-sectional design. The number of students with VI varied from three to 16 ( Mage = 19 years). Four publications reported either ophthalmic diagnoses or World Health Organization’s (WHO) definition of vision loss. The mathematical training was reported as lasting from one session to 18 weeks of training. Eight papers reported the use of audio-based applications as learning aids. The authors conclude that interactive e-learning with audio and tactile learning programmes may be a useful resource for students with VI to enhance their mathematical skills. However, there is lack of evidence for how digital technologies improve inclusion potentials and learning in mathematics for students with VI, and hence, there is a need for additional research and more reflection on the subject.

Abstract:
The paper presents a theoretical overview of the notion “multimodal literacy” in the context of the multiliteracies pedagogy focusing on the research relevant to developing notions of literacy for twenty-first century higher education standards. The relevance of the topic is explained by the fact that the modern world is becoming more and more pluralist and increasingly dependent on new technologies and different modes of communication, students require new transdisciplinary skills and methods of learning. The author examines the changing pattern of literacy as broad, multidimensional knowledge, skills and attitudes. Literacy is viewed as a personal sociocultural capacity the development of which provides every student with the rules how to solve problems, to relate to others and survive in diverse social settings, and creates numerous opportunities for enhancing critical thinking and reflection as well. The foundation for students’ multimodal literacy in the digital learning environment of a higher education institution through theoretical and applied frameworks of visual, media, information and multicultural literacy is considered. The diverse affordance of digital tools and range of multimodal genres offer engaging new avenues for students’ creative expression on the basis of developing multimodal literacy. It is emphasized that successful life in a world of multimodal information requires fluency in a broad range of literacies to consume and create texts in visual, audio, and written formats, to evaluate messages in a variety of mediums, and to gain sociocultural awareness and the ability to communicate and live in a global diverse society. Pedagogic techniques across disciplines (multimodal essay, digital mapping project) are highlighted in view of their effectiveness in developing multicultural literacy of undergraduate students. It is an empowering practice for modern educators to incorporate multimodal tasks into a diverse learning environment, which teaches critical thinking and multimodal skills, enhances audio-visual rhetoric, develops writing and oral communication skills, and aids in self-expression and self-reflection.

Abstract:
Second language learners especially in English language need further language support in view of the fact that they operate on the performance level of language use as against competence. Achieving success in the teaching and learning of a second language such as English is determined by a number of linguistic and nonlinguistic factors such as the attitude and language skills of the learners, the teacher’s innovativeness and competence, effective teaching methods and materials such as visual, audio-visual aids and media aids to language learning. This research is motivated by the problem inherent in the traditional teaching methods which is stereotypical, boring with little active students’ engagement in the learning process, which makes knowledge transfer an arduous task. The research represents a shift in language teaching and learning - from the known traditional to a more technological mode of learning- giving way to new technologies in which the media plays a prominent role. The work adopts a qualitative methodology in assessing the role of the media in language teaching and learning both on the part of the students as well the teacher, especially in terms of self-development and innovations. It was discovered that media aids in language learning, facilitates the overall learning process and helps the teacher to transcend his limitations in areas such as pronunciation, vocabulary to be able to guide the students aright. This makes learning an ongoing process rather than a product.

Abstract:
Teaching and learning process was often faced with abstract subjects and it is out of the daily experience such as the process of biofuel production or renewable energy on industrial biotechnology field, which is one of subject unit in Biology. Therefore, this subject was difficult to be taught by teacher and difficult to be understood by student. In this research, biology especially renewable energy (the process of biofuel production) one of industrial biotechnology field was chosen because of many factors such as the production of biofuel needs long time, the process to produce biofuel is very complex and industrial biotechnology subject was difficult to be taught by teachers in the classroom. So they need the aids to explain biofuel in the classroom. The teachers’ ability and competency are necessary to teach the Biology course to be more attractive and efficient. Visualization is one of the ways that can be done to concretize an abstract idea. e-Audio Visual Biology courseware (e-AV BIOLOGY) is one of the alternative aids to explain this course, so biology learning will be more interesting for the students. This paper considers the design and development of a web-based courseware for education of biology in Indonesia Senior High Schools. The new teaching media, namely e-AV BIOLOGY, had been developed as a teaching approach in science education. e-AV BIOLOGY had been developed with integrated and comprehensive Assignment, Quizzes, and Discussion Board for supporting the students' learning process. Abstract:
This paper aims at exploring the usefulness of street theatre as critical pedagogy in teaching of social studies education. It gives a brief background of street-theatre and its linkages with critical pedagogy. In the light of theoretical underpinnings of this arts-based pedagogy, the paper deliberates upon the relevance and efficacy of street theatre in a social studies classroom. This paper uses a street theatre performance case to look at the techniques such as: body motion, body work, props, use of visual and audio aids, etc.; processes such as: conscientization and catharsis; and dialogical approach employed by street theatre to bring awareness about socio-political and cultural issues prevalent in a society. The analysis of this performance act shows that street theatre successfully encourages spectators or the oppressed masses to reflect, and triggers action in them to come out of socio-political oppression. When looked at from educational perspective, street theatre encourages the employment of multiple-intelligences of both students and teachers; and therefore, it can be one innovative strategy to make students aware of the issues infecting their society and also to empower students for action
